Wa Al-`Ādiyāti Đabĥāan (Al-`Ādiyāt: 1).

100.001 By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath),
|
وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحاً |
| Fālmūriyāti Qadĥāan (Al-`Ādiyāt: 2).
|
100.002 And strike sparks of fire,
|
فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحاً |
| Fālmughīrāti Şubĥāan (Al-`Ādiyāt: 3).
|
100.003 And push home the charge in the morning,
|
فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحاً |
| Fa'atharna Bihi Naq`āan (Al-`Ādiyāt: 4).
|
100.004 And raise the dust in clouds the while,
|
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعاً |
| Fawasaţna Bihi Jam`āan (Al-`Ādiyāt: 5).
|
100.005 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;-
|
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعاً |
| 'Inna Al-'Insāna Lirabbihi Lakanūdun (Al-`Ādiyāt: 6).
|
100.006 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful;
|
إِنَّ الإِنسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ |
| Wa 'Innahu `Alá Dhālika Lashahīdun (Al-`Ādiyāt: 7).
|
100.007 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds);
|
وَإِنَّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ |
| Wa 'Innahu Liĥubbi Al-Khayri Lashadīdun (Al-`Ādiyāt: 8).
|
100.008 And violent is he in his love of wealth.
|
وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ |
| 'Afalā Ya`lamu 'Idhā Bu`thira Mā Fī Al-Qubūri (Al-`Ādiyāt: 9).
|
100.009 Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad
|
أَفَلاَ يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ |
| Wa Ĥuşşila Mā Fī Aş-Şudūri (Al-`Ādiyāt: 10).
|
100.010 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest-
|
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ |
| 'Inna Rabbahum Bihim Yawma'idhin Lakhabīrun (Al-`Ādiyāt: 11).
|
100.011 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day.
|
إِنَّ رَبَّهُمْ بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَخَبِيرٌ |
