'Idhā Zulzilati Al-'Arđu Zilzālahā (Az-Zalzalah: 1).

099.001 When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion,
|
إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا |
| Wa 'Akhrajati Al-'Arđu 'Athqālahā (Az-Zalzalah: 2).
|
099.002 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within),
|
وَأَخْرَجَتِ الأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا |
| Wa Qāla Al-'Insānu Mā Lahā (Az-Zalzalah: 3).
|
099.003 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'-
|
وَقَالَ الإِنسَانُ مَا لَهَا |
| Yawma'idhin Tuĥaddithu 'Akhbārahā (Az-Zalzalah: 4).
|
099.004 On that Day will she declare her tidings:
|
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا |
| Bi'anna Rabbaka 'Awĥá Lahā (Az-Zalzalah: 5).
|
099.005 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration.
|
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَى لَهَا |
| Yawma'idhin Yaşduru An-Nāsu 'Ashtātāan Liyurawā 'A`mālahum (Az-Zalzalah: 6).
|
099.006 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done).
|
يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتاً لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ |
| Faman Ya`mal Mithqāla Dharratin Khayrāan Yarahu (Az-Zalzalah: 7).
|
099.007 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it!
|
فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْراً يَرَهُ |
| Wa Man Ya`mal Mithqāla Dharratin Sharrāan Yarahu (Az-Zalzalah: 8).
|
099.008 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it.
|
وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرّاً يَرَهُ |
