Aţ-Ţāriqi  |
086.001 By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);- |
وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ |
Wa Mā
'Adrāka
Mā Aţ-Ţāriqu  |
086.002 And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?- |
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ
مَا الطَّارِقُ |
An-Najmu
Ath-Thāqibu  |
086.003 (It is) the Star of piercing brightness;- |
النَّجْمُ
الثَّاقِبُ |
'In
Kullu Nafsin Lammā
`Alayhā Ĥāfižun  |
086.004 There is no soul but has a protector over it. |
إِنْ كُلُّ نَفْس
ٍ لَمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظ
ٌ |
Falyanžuri
Al-'Insānu
Mimma Khuliqa  |
086.005 Now let man but think from what he is created! |
فَلْيَنظُرِ
الإِنسَانُ
مِمَّ خُلِقَ |
Khuliqa Min
Mā'in
Dāfiqin  |
086.006 He is created from a drop emitted- |
خُلِقَ مِنْ مَاء
ٍ دَافِق
ٍ |
Yakhruju Min
Bayni Aş-Şulbi Wa
At-Tarā'ibi  |
086.007 Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs: |
يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ
الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ |
'Innahu
`Alá Raj`ihi
Laqādirun  |
086.008 Surely (God) is able to bring him back (to life)! |
إِنَّه
ُُ عَلَى رَجْعِه
ِِ لَقَادِر ٌ |
Yawma Tublá
As-Sarā'iru  |
086.009 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, |
يَوْمَ تُبْلَى
السَّرَائِرُ |
Famā Lahu
Min Qūwatin
Wa Lā Nāşirin  |
086.010 (Man) will have no power, and no helper. |
فَمَا لَه ُُ مِنْ
قُوَّة ٍ وَلاَ نَاصِر
ٍ |
Wa
As-Samā'i Dhāti
Ar-Raj`i  |
086.011 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), |
وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ
الرَّجْعِ |
Wa
Al-'Arđi Dhāti
Aş-Şad`i  |
086.012 And by the Earth which opens out (for the gushing of springs or the
sprouting of vegetation),- |
وَالأَرْضِ ذَاتِ
الصَّدْعِ |
'Innahu
Laqawlun Faşlun  |
086.013 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): |
إِنَّه
ُُ لَقَوْل ٌ فَصْل
ٌ |
Wa Mā Huwa Bil-Hazli  |
086.014 It is not a thing for amusement. |
وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ |
'Innahum
Yakīdūna Kaydāan  |
086.015 As for them, they are but plotting a scheme, |
إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ
كَيْدا ً |
Wa 'Akīdu
Kaydāan  |
086.016 And I am planning a scheme. |
وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدا
ً |
Famahhili
Al-Kāfirīna
'Amhilhum
Ruwaydāan  |
086.017 Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them
gently (for awhile).THE MOST HIGH, GLORY TO YOUR LORD IN THE HIGHEST,
CHAPTER | فَمَهِّلِ
الْكَافِرِينَ
أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدا ً |
