'Idhā As-Samā'u Anfaţarat (Al-'Infiţār: 1).

082.001 When the Sky is cleft asunder;
|
إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انفَطَرَتْ |
Wa 'Idhā Al-Kawākibu Antatharat (Al-'Infiţār: 2).
|
082.002 When the Stars are scattered;
|
وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ |
Wa 'Idhā Al-Biĥāru Fujjirat (Al-'Infiţār: 3).
|
082.003 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth;
|
وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ |
Wa 'Idhā Al-Qubūru Bu`thirat (Al-'Infiţār: 4).
|
082.004 And when the Graves are turned upside down;-
|
وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ |
`Alimat Nafsun Mā Qaddamat Wa 'Akhkharat (Al-'Infiţār: 5).
|
082.005 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back.
|
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ |
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-'Insānu Mā Gharraka Birabbika Al-Karīmi (Al-'Infiţār: 6).
|
082.006 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?-
|
يَاأَيُّهَا الإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ |
Al-Ladhī Khalaqaka Fasawwāka Fa`adalaka (Al-'Infiţār: 7).
|
082.007 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias;
|
الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ |
Fī 'Ayyi Şūratin Mā Shā'a Rakkabaka (Al-'Infiţār: 8).
|
082.008 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together.
|
فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ |
Kallā Bal Tukadhdhibūna Bid-Dīni (Al-'Infiţār: 9).
|
082.009 Day! nit ye do reject Right and Judgment!
|
كَلاَّ بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ |
Wa 'Inna `Alaykum Laĥāfižīna (Al-'Infiţār: 10).
|
082.010 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,-
|
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ |
Kirāmāan Kātibīna (Al-'Infiţār: 11).
|
082.011 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds):
|
كِرَاماً كَاتِبِينَ |
Ya`lamūna Mā Taf`alūna (Al-'Infiţār: 12).
|
082.012 They know (and understand) all that ye do.
|
يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ |
'Inna Al-'Abrāra Lafī Na`īmin (Al-'Infiţār: 13).
|
082.013 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss;
|
إِنَّ الأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ |
Wa 'Inna Al-Fujjāra Lafī Jaĥīmin (Al-'Infiţār: 14).
|
082.014 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire,
|
وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ |
Yaşlawnahā Yawma Ad-Dīni (Al-'Infiţār: 15).
|
082.015 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment,
|
يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ |
Wa Mā Hum `Anhā Bighā'ibīna (Al-'Infiţār: 16).
|
082.016 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom.
|
وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ |
Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Yawmu Ad-Dīni (Al-'Infiţār: 17).
|
082.017 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is?
|
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ |
Thumma Mā 'Adrāka Mā Yawmu Ad-Dīni (Al-'Infiţār: 18).
|
082.018 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is?
|
ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ |
Yawma Lā Tamliku Nafsun Linafsin Shay'āan ۖ Wa Al-'Amru Yawma'idhin Lillāhi (Al-'Infiţār: 19).

082.019 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with God.
|
يَوْمَ لاَ تَمْلِكُ نَفْس ٌ لِنَفْسٍ شَيْئاً ۖ وَالأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلَّهِ |
