Lā 'Uqsimu Biyawmi Al-Qiyāmahi (Al-Qiyāmah: 1). 075.001 I do call to witness the Resurrection Day; لاَ أُ‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍سِمُ بِيَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ
Wa Lā 'Uqsimu Bin-Nafsi Al-Lawwāmahi (Al-Qiyāmah: 2). 075.002 And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: (Eschew Evil). وَلاَ أُ‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍سِمُ بِ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍فْسِ ‌ال‍‍لَّوَّ‌امَةِ
'Ayaĥsabu Al-'Insānu 'Allan Najma`a `Ižāmahu (Al-Qiyāmah: 3). 075.003 Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones? أَيَحْسَبُ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانُ ‌أَلَّ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍مَعَ عِ‍‍‍‍ظَ‍‍امَهُ
Balá Qādirīna `Alá 'An Nusawwiya Banānahu (Al-Qiyāmah: 4). 075.004 Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. بَلَى‌ قَ‍‍ا‌دِ‌ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‌ْ نُسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ
Bal Yurīdu Al-'Insānu Liyafjura 'Amāmahu (Al-Qiyāmah: 5). 075.005 But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him. بَلْ يُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانُ لِيَفْجُ‍‍‍رَ أَمَامَهُ
Yas'alu 'Ayyāna Yawmu Al-Qiyāmahi (Al-Qiyāmah: 6). 075.006 He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?" يَسْأَلُ ‌أَيّ‍‍َانَ يَ‍‍وْمُ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ
Fa'idhā Bariqa Al-Başaru (Al-Qiyāmah: 7). 075.007 At length, when the sight is dazed, فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ بَ‍‍رِ‍‍‍‍قَ ‌الْبَ‍‍صَ‍‍رُ
Wa Khasafa Al-Qamaru (Al-Qiyāmah: 8). 075.008 And the moon is buried in darkness. وَ‍‍خَ‍‍سَفَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍مَرُ
Wa Jumi`a Ash-Shamsu Wa Al-Qamaru (Al-Qiyāmah: 9). 075.009 And the sun and moon are joined together,- وَجُمِعَ ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسُ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍مَرُ
Yaqūlu Al-'Insānu Yawma'idhin 'Ayna Al-Mafarru (Al-Qiyāmah: 10). 075.010 That Day will Man say: "Where is the refuge?" يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْ‍‍نَ ‌الْمَفَرُّ
Kallā Lā Wazara (Al-Qiyāmah: 11). 075.011 By no means! No place of safety! كَلاَّ‌ لاَ وَ‌زَ‌‍‍‍رَ
'Ilá Rabbika Yawma'idhin Al-Mustaqarru (Al-Qiyāmah: 12). 075.012 Before thy Lord (alone), that Day will be the place of rest. إِلَى ‍‍‍رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذ‌‌ٍ ‌الْمُسْتَ‍‍قَ‍‍رُّ
Yunabba'u Al-'Insānu Yawma'idhin Bimā Qaddama Wa 'Akhkhara (Al-Qiyāmah: 13). 075.013 That Day will Man be told (all) that he put forward, and all that he put back. يُنَبَّأُ‌ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانُ يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ بِمَا‌ قَ‍‍دَّمَ ‌وَ‌أَ‍خَّ‍رَ
Bali Al-'Insānu `Alá Nafsihi Başīrahun (Al-Qiyāmah: 14). 075.014 Nay, man will be evidence against himself, بَلِ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانُ عَلَى‌ نَفْسِهِ بَ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍رَةٌ
Wa Law 'Alqá Ma`ādhīrahu (Al-Qiyāmah: 15). 075.015 Even though he were to put up his excuses. وَلَوْ أَلْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ مَعَا‌ذِي‍رَهُ
Lā Tuĥarrik Bihi Lisānaka Lita`jala Bihi (Al-Qiyāmah: 16). 075.016 Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. لاَ‌ تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِ‍‍هِ
'Inna `Alaynā Jam`ahu Wa Qur'ānahu (Al-Qiyāmah: 17). 075.017 It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it: إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا‌ جَمْعَهُ ‌وَ‍‍قُ‍‍رْ‌آنَهُ
Fa'idhā Qara'nāhu Fa Attabi` Qur'ānahu (Al-Qiyāmah: 18). 075.018 But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated): فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ قَ‍رَ‌أْن‍‍َاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُ‍‍رْ‌آنَهُ
Thumma 'Inna `Alaynā Bayānahu (Al-Qiyāmah: 19). 075.019 Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear): ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا‌ بَيَانَهُ
Kallā Bal Tuĥibbūna Al-`Ājilaha (Al-Qiyāmah: 20). 075.020 Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life, كَلاَّ‌ بَلْ تُحِبّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْعَاجِلَةَ
Wa Tadharūna Al-'Ākhiraha (Al-Qiyāmah: 21). 075.021 And leave alone the Hereafter. وَتَذَ‌ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌الآ‍‍‍‍خِ‍رَةَ
Wujūhun Yawma'idhin Nāđirahun (Al-Qiyāmah: 22). 075.022 Some faces, that Day, will beam (in brightness and beauty);- وُج‍‍ُ‍وهٌ يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ نَا‍‍ضِ‍رَةٌ
'Ilá Rabbihā Nāžirahun (Al-Qiyāmah: 23). 075.023 Looking towards their Lord; إِلَى ‍‍‍رَبِّهَا‌ نَاظِ‍رَةٌ
Wa Wujūhun Yawma'idhin Bāsirahun (Al-Qiyāmah: 24). 075.024 And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal, وَ‌وُج‍‍ُ‍وهٌ يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ بَاسِ‍‍‍رَةٌ
Tažunnu 'An Yuf`ala Bihā Fāqirahun (Al-Qiyāmah: 25). 075.025 In the thought that some back-breaking calamity was about to be inflicted on them; تَ‍‍ظُ‍‍نُّ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُفْعَلَ بِهَا‌ فَاقِ‍رَةٌ
Kallā 'Idhā Balaghati At-Taqī (Al-Qiyāmah: 26). 075.026 Yea, when (the soul) reaches to the collar-bone (in its exit), كَلاَّ إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ بَلَ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍تِ ‌ال‍‍تَّ‍رَ‌اقِ‍‍ي
Wa Qīla Man ۜ Rāqin (Al-Qiyāmah: 27). 075.027 And there will be a cry, "Who is a magician (to restore him)?" وَ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍لَ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ۜ ‌‍رَ‌اقٍ
Wa Žanna 'Annahu Al-Firāqu (Al-Qiyāmah: 28). 075.028 And he will conclude that it was (the Time) of Parting; وَ‍‍ظَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ ‌الْفِ‍رَ‌اقُ
Wa Altaffati As-Sāqu Bis-Sāqi (Al-Qiyāmah: 29). 075.029 And one leg will be joined with another: وَ‌الْتَفَّتِ ‌ال‍‍سّ‍‍َا‍‍قُ بِ‌ال‍‍سَّاقِ
'Ilá Rabbika Yawma'idhin Al-Masāqu (Al-Qiyāmah: 30). 075.030 That Day the Drive will be (all) to thy Lord! إِلَى ‍‍‍رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذ‌‌ٍ ‌الْمَسَاقُ
Falā Şaddaqa Wa Lā Şallá (Al-Qiyāmah: 31). 075.031 So he gave nothing in charity, nor did he pray!- فَلاَ صَ‍‍دَّ‍‍قَ ‌وَلاَ صَ‍‍لَّى
Wa Lakin Kadhdhaba Wa Tawallá (Al-Qiyāmah: 32). 075.032 But on the contrary, he rejected Truth and turned away! وَلَكِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كَذَّبَ ‌وَتَوَلَّى
Thumma Dhahaba 'Ilá 'Ahlihi Yatamaţţá (Al-Qiyāmah: 33). 075.033 Then did he stalk to his family in full conceit! ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌ذَهَبَ ‌إِلَ‍‍ى أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَ‍‍‍‍‍ط‍‍ّ‍‍َى
'Awlá Laka Fa'awlá (Al-Qiyāmah: 34). 075.034 Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe! أَ‌وْلَى‌ لَكَ فَأَ‌وْلَى
Thumma 'Awlá Laka Fa'awlá (Al-Qiyāmah: 35). 075.035 Again, Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe! ثُ‍‍مَّ‍ ‌أَ‌وْلَى‌ لَكَ فَأَ‌وْلَى
'Ayaĥsabu Al-'Insānu 'An Yutraka Sudan (Al-Qiyāmah: 36). 075.036 Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose)? أَيَحْسَبُ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُتْ‍‍‍رَكَ سُ‍‍د‌ىً
'Alam Yaku Nuţfatan Min Manīyin Yumná (Al-Qiyāmah: 37). 075.037 Was he not a drop of sperm emitted (in lowly form)? أَلَمْ يَكُ نُ‍‍‍‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍فَةً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَنِيٍّ يُمْنَى
Thumma Kāna `Alaqatan Fakhalaqa Fasawwá (Al-Qiyāmah: 38). 075.038 Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did (God) make and fashion (him) in due proportion. ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ك‍‍َانَ عَلَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ةً فَ‍‍خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ فَسَوَّ‌ى
Faja`ala Minhu Az-Zawjayni Adh-Dhakara Wa Al-'Unthá (Al-Qiyāmah: 39). 075.039 And of him He made two sexes, male and female. فَجَعَلَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌ال‍‍زَّ‌وْجَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ‌ال‍‍ذَّكَ‍‍‍رَ وَ‌الأُ‌ن‍‍ثَى
'Alaysa Dhālika Biqādirin `Alá 'An Yuĥyiya Al-Mawtá (Al-Qiyāmah: 40). 075.040 Has not He, (the same), the power to give life to the dead? أَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ ‌ذَلِكَ بِ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌دِ‌ر‍‍ٍ‍‌ عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‌ْ يُحْيِيَ ‌الْمَوْتَى
