Al-Ĥāqqahu (Al-Ĥāqqah: 1). 069.001 The Sure Reality! ‌الْح‍‍َا‍‍قَّ‍‍ةُ
Al-Ĥāqqahu (Al-Ĥāqqah: 2). 069.002 What is the Sure Reality? مَا‌ ‌الْح‍‍َا‍‍قَّ‍‍ةُ
Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Al-Ĥāqqahu (Al-Ĥāqqah: 3). 069.003 And what will make thee realise what the Sure Reality is? وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌دْ‌‍‍رَ‍‌اكَ مَا‌ ‌الْح‍‍َاقَّ‍‍ةُ
Kadhdhabat Thamūdu Wa `Ādun Bil-Qāri`ahi (Al-Ĥāqqah: 4). 069.004 The Thamud and the 'Ad People (branded) as false the Stunning Calamity! كَذَّبَتْ ثَم‍‍ُ‍و‌دُ وَع‍‍َا‌دٌ بِ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌رِعَةِ
Fa'ammā Thamūdu Fa'uhlikū Biţ-Ţāghiyahi (Al-Ĥāqqah: 5). 069.005 But the Thamud,- they were destroyed by a terrible Storm of thunder and lightning! فَأَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ثَم‍‍ُ‍و‌دُ‌ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍طَّ‍‍اغِ‍‍يَةِ
Wa 'Ammā `Ādun Fa'uhlikū Birīĥin Şarşarin `Ātiyahin (Al-Ĥāqqah: 6). 069.006 And the 'Ad, they were destroyed by a furious Wind, exceedingly violent; وَ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ع‍‍َا‌دٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍حٍ صَ‍‍رْصَ‍‍رٍ‌ عَاتِيَةٍ
Sakhkharahā `Alayhim Sab`a Layālin Wa Thamāniyata 'Ayyāmin Ĥusūmāan Fatará Al-Qawma Fīhā Şar`á Ka'annahum 'A`jāzu Nakhlin Khāwiyahin (Al-Ĥāqqah: 7). 069.007 He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down! سَ‍‍خَّ‍رَهَا‌ عَلَيْهِمْ سَ‍‍بْ‍‍عَ لَي‍‍َالٍ ‌وَثَمَانِيَةَ ‌أَيّ‍‍َامٍ حُسُوماً فَتَ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمَ فِيهَا‌ صَ‍‍رْعَى‌ كَأَنَّ‍‍هُمْ ‌أَعْج‍‍َا‌زُ‌ نَ‍‍خْ‍‍لٍ خَ‍‍ا‌وِيَةٍ
Fahal Tará Lahum Minqiyahin (Al-Ĥāqqah: 8). 069.008 Then seest thou any of them left surviving? فَهَلْ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى‌ لَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَاقِ‍‍يَةٍ
Wa Jā'a Fir`awnu Wa Man Qablahu Wa Al-Mu'utafikātu Bil-Khāţi'ahi (Al-Ĥāqqah: 9). 069.009 And Pharaoh, and those before him, and the Cities Overthrown, committed habitual Sin. وَج‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ فِ‍‍ر‌ْعَ‍‍وْنُ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لَهُ ‌وَ‌الْمُؤْتَفِك‍‍َاتُ بِ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍اطِ‍‍ئَةِ
Fa`aşawā Rasūla Rabbihim Fa'akhadhahum 'Akhdhatan biyahan (Al-Ĥāqqah: 10). 069.010 And disobeyed (each) the apostle of their Lord; so He punished them with an abundant Penalty. فَعَ‍‍صَ‍‍وْ‌ا ‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولَ ‌‍رَبِّهِمْ فَأَ‍خَ‍‍ذَهُمْ ‌أَ‍خْ‍‍ذَة ًرَ‌ابِيَةً
'Innā Lammā Ţaghá Al-Mā'u Ĥamalnākum Al-Jāriyahi (Al-Ĥāqqah: 11). 069.011 We, when the water (of Noah's Flood) overflowed beyond its limits, carried you (mankind), in the floating (Ark), إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ طَ‍‍غَ‍‍ى‌ ‌الْم‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ حَمَلْنَاكُمْ فِي ‌الْجَا‌رِيَةِ
Linaj`alahā Lakum Tadhkiratan Wa Ta`iyahā 'Udhunun Wā`iyahun (Al-Ĥāqqah: 12). 069.012 That We might make it a Message unto you, and that ears (that should hear the tale and) retain its memory should bear its (lessons) in remembrance. لِنَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلَهَا‌ لَكُمْ تَذْكِ‍‍‍رَةً ‌وَتَعِيَهَ‍‍ا أُ‌ذُنٌ ‌وَ‌اعِيَةٌ
Fa'idhā Nufikha Fī Aş-Şūri Nafkhatun Wāĥidahun (Al-Ĥāqqah: 13). 069.013 Then, when one blast is sounded on the Trumpet, فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ نُفِ‍‍‍‍خَ فِي ‌ال‍‍صُّ‍‍و‌رِ نَفْ‍‍خَ‍‍ةٌ ‌وَ‌احِ‍‍د‍‍َ‌ةٌ
Wa Ĥumilati Al-'Arđu Wa Al-Jibālu Fadukkatā Dakkatan Wāĥidahan (Al-Ĥāqqah: 14). 069.014 And the earth is moved, and its mountains, and they are crushed to powder at one stroke,- وَحُمِلَتِ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضُ ‌وَ‌الْجِب‍‍َالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً ‌وَ‌احِ‍‍د‍‍َ‌ةً
Fayawma'idhin Waqa`ati Al-Wāqi`ahu (Al-Ĥāqqah: 15). 069.015 On that Day shall the (Great) Event come to pass. فَيَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ ‌وَ‍‍قَ‍‍عَتِ ‌الْوَ‌اقِ‍‍عَةُ
Wa Anshaqqati As-Samā'u Fahiya Yawma'idhin Wāhiyahun (Al-Ĥāqqah: 16). 069.016 And the sky will be rent asunder, for it will that Day be flimsy, وَ‌ا‌ن‍‍شَ‍‍‍‍قَّ‍‍تِ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ فَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ ‌وَ‌اهِيَةٌ
Wa Al-Malaku `Alá 'Arjā'ihā ۚ Wa Yaĥmilu `Arsha Rabbika Fawqahum Yawma'idhin Thamāniyahun (Al-Ĥāqqah: 17). 069.017 And the angels will be on its sides, and eight will, that Day, bear the Throne of thy Lord above them. وَ‌الْمَلَكُ عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‌رْج‍‍َائِهَا‌ ۚ ‌وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّكَ فَوْقَ‍‍هُمْ يَوْمَئِذ‌‌ٍ ثَمَانِيَةٌ
Yawma'idhin Tu`rađūna Lā Takhfá Minkum Khāfiyahun (Al-Ĥāqqah: 18). 069.018 That Day shall ye be brought to Judgment: not an act of yours that ye hide will be hidden. يَوْمَئِذ‌‌ٍ تُعْ‍‍‍رَضُ‍‍ونَ لاَ‌ تَ‍‍خْ‍‍فَى‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ خَ‍‍افِيَةٌ
Fa'ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Biyamīnihi Fayaqūlu Hā'uum Aqra'ū Kitābī (Al-Ĥāqqah: 19). 069.019 Then he that will be given his Record in his right hand will say: "Ah here! Read ye my Record! فَأَمَّ‍‍ا‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَيَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ه‍‍َا‌ؤُمْ ‌ا‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌ء‍ُ‍‌و‌ا‌ كِتَابِي
'Innī Žanantu 'Annī Mulāqin Ĥisābiyah (Al-Ĥāqqah: 20). 069.020 "I did really understand that my Account would (One Day) reach me!" إِنِّ‍‍ي ظَ‍‍نَ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُ ‌أَنِّ‍‍ي مُلاَقٍ حِسَابِيَه
Fahuwa Fī `Īshatin điyahin (Al-Ĥāqqah: 21). 069.021 And he will be in a life of Bliss, فَهُوَ‌ فِي عِيشَةٍ ‌‍‍‍رَ‌اضِ‍‍يَةٍ
Fī Jannatin `Āliyahin (Al-Ĥāqqah: 22). 069.022 In a Garden on high, فِي جَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةٍ عَالِيَةٍ
Quţūfuhā Dāniyahun (Al-Ĥāqqah: 23). 069.023 The Fruits whereof (will hang in bunches) low and near. قُ‍طُ‍‍وفُهَا دَ‌انِيَةٌ
Kulū Wa Ashrabū Hanī'āan Bimā 'Aslaftum Al-'Ayyāmi Al-Khāliyahi (Al-Ĥāqqah: 24). 069.024 "Eat ye and drink ye, with full satisfaction; because of the (good) that ye sent before you, in the days that are gone!" كُلُوا ‌وَ‌اشْ‍‍‍رَبُوا هَن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍ئاً بِمَ‍‍ا أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِي ‌الأَيّ‍‍َامِ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍الِيَةِ
Wa 'Ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Bishimālihi Fayaqūlu Yā Laytanī Lam 'Ūta Kitābīh (Al-Ĥāqqah: 25). 069.025 And he that will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: "Ah! Would that my Record had not been given to me! وَ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِشِمَالِهِ فَيَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ يَا‌ لَيْتَنِي لَمْ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتَ كِتَابِيهْ
Wa Lam 'Adri Mā Ĥisābīh (Al-Ĥāqqah: 26). 069.026 "And that I had never realised how my account (stood)! وَلَمْ ‌أَ‌دْ‌رِ مَا‌ حِسَابِيهْ
Yā Laytahā Kānati Al-Qāđiyaha (Al-Ĥāqqah: 27). 069.027 "Ah! Would that (Death) had made an end of me! يَا‌ لَيْتَهَا‌ كَانَتِ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍اضِ‍‍يَةَ
Mā 'Aghná `Annī Mālīh ۜ (Al-Ĥāqqah: 28). 069.028 "Of no profit to me has been my wealth! مَ‍ا أَ‍‍غْ‍‍نَى عَنِّي مَالِيهْ
Halaka `Annī Sulţānīh (Al-Ĥāqqah: 29). 069.029 "My power has perished from me!"... هَلَكَ عَ‍‍نِّ‍‍ي سُلْ‍‍‍‍طَ‍‍انِيهْ
Khudhūhu Faghullūhu (Al-Ĥāqqah: 30). 069.030 (The stern command will say): "Seize ye him, and bind ye him, خُ‍‍ذ‍ُ‍‌وهُ فَ‍‍غُ‍‍لُّوهُ
Thumma Al-Jaĥīma Şallūhu (Al-Ĥāqqah: 31). 069.031 "And burn ye him in the Blazing Fire. ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌الْجَح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ صَ‍‍لُّوهُ
Thumma Fī Silsilatin Dhar`uhā Sab`ūna Dhi`āan Fāslukūhu (Al-Ĥāqqah: 32). 069.032 "Further, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits! ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ فِي سِلْسِلَةٍ ‌ذَ‌رْعُهَا‌ سَ‍‍بْ‍‍ع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ذِ‌‍‍‍رَ‌اعاً فَاسْلُكُوهُ
'Innahu Kāna Lā Yu'uminu Billāhi Al-`Ažīmi (Al-Ĥāqqah: 33). 069.033 "This was he that would not believe in God Most High. إِنَّ‍‍هُ ك‍‍َانَ لاَ‌ يُؤْمِنُ بِ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌الْعَ‍‍‍‍ظِ‍‍يمِ
Wa Lā Yaĥuđđu `Alá Ţa`āmi Al-Miskīni (Al-Ĥāqqah: 34). 069.034 "And would not encourage the feeding of the indigent! وَلاَ‌ يَحُ‍‍‍‍ضُّ عَلَى‌ طَ‍‍ع‍‍َامِ ‌الْمِسْكِينِ
Falaysa Lahu Al-Yawma Hāhunā Ĥamīmun (Al-Ĥāqqah: 35). 069.035 "So no friend hath he here this Day. فَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ لَهُ ‌الْيَ‍‍وْمَ هَاهُنَا‌ حَمِيمٌ
Wa Lā Ţa`āmun 'Illā Min Ghislīnin (Al-Ĥāqqah: 36). 069.036 "Nor hath he any food except the corruption from the washing of wounds, وَلاَ طَ‍‍ع‍‍َامٌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ غِ‍‍سْلِينٍ
Lā Ya'kuluhu 'Illā Al-Khāţi'ūna (Al-Ĥāqqah: 37). 069.037 "Which none do eat but those in sin." لاَ‌ يَأْكُلُهُ ‌إِلاَّ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍اطِ‍‍ئ‍‍ُ‍‍ونَ
Falā 'Uqsimu Bimā Tubşirūna (Al-Ĥāqqah: 38). 069.038 So I do call to witness what ye see, فَلاَ أُ‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍سِمُ بِمَا‌ تُ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Wa Mā Lā Tubşirūna (Al-Ĥāqqah: 39). 069.039 And what ye see not, وَمَا‌ لاَ‌ تُ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
'Innahu Laqawlu Rasūlin Karīmin (Al-Ĥāqqah: 40). 069.040 That this is verily the word of an honoured apostle; إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍وْلُ ‌‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٍ كَ‍‍رِيمٍ
Wa Mā Huwa Biqawli Shā`irin ۚ Qalīlāan Mā Tu'uminūna (Al-Ĥāqqah: 41). 069.041 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! وَمَا‌ هُوَ‌ بِ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍وْلِ شَاعِ‍‍ر‌ٍ ۚ قَ‍‍لِيلاً مَا‌ تُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Lā Biqawli Kāhinin ۚ Qalīlāan Mā Tadhakkarūna (Al-Ĥāqqah: 42). 069.042 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. وَلاَ‌ بِ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍وْلِ كَاهِنٍ ۚ قَ‍‍لِيلاً مَا‌ تَذَكَّرُ‌ونَ
Tanzīlun Min Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (Al-Ĥāqqah: 43). 069.043 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. تَ‍‌‍ن‍‍ز‍ِ‍ي‍‍لٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa Law Taqawwala `Alaynā Ba`đa Al-'Aqāwīli (Al-Ĥāqqah: 44). 069.044 And if the apostle were to invent any sayings in Our name, وَلَوْ‌ تَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍وَّلَ عَلَيْنَا‌ بَعْ‍‍ضَ ‌الأَقَ‍‍ا‌وِيلِ
La'akhadhnā Minhu Bil-Yamīni (Al-Ĥāqqah: 45). 069.045 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, لَأَ‍‍خَ‍‍ذْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ بِ‌الْيَمِينِ
Thumma Laqaţa`nā Minhu Al-Watīna (Al-Ĥāqqah: 46). 069.046 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ لَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍طَ‍‍عْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌الْوَتِينَ
Famā Minkum Min 'Aĥadin `Anhu Ĥājizīna (Al-Ĥāqqah: 47). 069.047 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). فَمَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَحَدٍ‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ حَاجِزِينَ
Wa 'Innahu Latadhkiratun Lilmuttaqīna (Al-Ĥāqqah: 48). 069.048 But verily this is a Message for the God-fearing. وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَتَذْكِ‍‍‍رَة ٌ لِلْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Wa 'Innā Lana`lamu 'Anna Minkum Mukadhdhibīna (Al-Ĥāqqah: 49). 069.049 And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَنَعْلَمُ ‌أَنّ‌َ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ مُكَذِّبِينَ
Wa 'Innahu Laĥasratun `Alá Al-Kāfirīna (Al-Ĥāqqah: 50). 069.050 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَحَسْ‍‍‍رَةٌ عَلَى‌ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa 'Innahu Laĥaqqu Al-Yaqīni (Al-Ĥāqqah: 51). 069.051 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَحَ‍‍‍‍قُّ ‌الْيَ‍‍قِ‍‍ينِ
Fasabbiĥ Biāsmi Rabbika Al-`Ažīmi (Al-Ĥāqqah: 52). 069.052 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. فَسَبِّحْ بِ‍اسْمِ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّكَ ‌الْعَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمِ
