'Alif-Lām-Mīm 029-001. Alif Lam Mim. --
'Aĥasiba An-Nāsu 'An Yutrakū 'An Yaqūlū 'Āmannā Wa Hum Lā Yuftanūna 029-002. Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, We believe, and not be tried? ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌
Wa Laqad Fatannā Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim ۖ Falaya`lamanna Allāhu Al-Ladhīna Şadaqū Wa Laya`lamanna Al-Kādhibīna 029-003. And certainly We tried those before them, so Allah will certainly know those who are true and He will certainly know the liars. ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‍ۖ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍
'Am Ĥasiba Al-Ladhīna Ya`malūna As-Sayyi'āti 'An Yasbiqūnā ۚ Sā'a Mā Yaĥkumūna 029-004. Or do they who work evil think that they will escape Us? Evil is it that they judge! ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‌ ۚ‍‍‌‌ ‌
Man Kāna Yarjū Liqā'a Allāhi Fa'inna 'Ajala Allāhi La'ātin ۚ Wa Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu 029-005. Whoever hopes to meet Allah, the term appointed by Allah will then most surely come; and He is the Hearing, the Knowing. ‍‌‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Man Jāhada Fa'innamā Yujāhidu Linafsihi~ ۚ 'Inna Allāha Laghanīyun `Ani Al-`Ālamīna 029-006. And whoever strives hard, he strives only for his own soul; most surely Allah is Self-sufficient, above (need of) the worlds. ‍‌‍‌ ‌ ۚ ‍ ‍‍‍
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lanukaffiranna `Anhum Sayyi'ātihim Wa Lanajziyannahum 'Aĥsana Al-Ladhī Kānū Ya`malūna 029-007. And (as for) those who believe and do good, We will most certainly do away with their evil deeds and We will most certainly reward them the best of what they did. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌
Wa Waşşaynā Al-'Insāna Biwālidayhi Ĥusnāan ۖ Wa 'In Jāhadāka Litushrika Bī Mā Laysa Laka Bihi `Ilmun Falā Tuţi`humā ۚ 'Ilayya Marji`ukum Fa'unabbi'ukum Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna 029-008. And We have enjoined on man goodness to his parents, and if they contend with you that you should associate (others) with Me, of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them, to Me is your return, so I will inform you of what you did. ‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ۖ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ۚ ‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lanudkhilannahum Aş-Şāliĥīna 029-009. And (as for) those who believe and do good, We will most surely cause them to enter among the good. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Mina An-Nāsi Man Yaqūlu 'Āmannā Billāhi Fa'idhādhiya Fī Al-Lahi Ja`ala Fitnata An-Nāsi Ka`adhābi Allāhi Wa La'in Jā'a Naşrun Min Rabbika Layaqūlunna 'Innā Kunnā Ma`akum ۚ 'Awalaysa Allāhu Bi'a`lama Bimā Fī Şudūri Al-`Ālamīna 029-010. And among men is he who says: We believe in Allah; but when he is persecuted in (the way of) Allah he thinks the persecution of men to be as the chastisement of Allah; and if there come assistance from your Lord, they would most certainly say: Surely we were with you. What! is not Allah the best knower of what is in the breasts of mankind. ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ ‌‌‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‌‍‍‌
Wa Laya`lamanna Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Laya`lamanna Al-Munāfiqīna 029-011. And most certainly Allah will know those who believe and most certainly He will know the hypocrites. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍ ‍‍
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Attabi`ū Sabīlanā Wa Lnaĥmil Khaţāyākum Wa Mā Hum Biĥāmilīna Min Khaţāyāhum Min Shay'in ۖ 'Innahum Lakādhibūna 029-012. And those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Follow our path and we will bear your wrongs. And never shall they be the bearers of any of their wrongs; most surely they are liars. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌ۖ‍ ‌
Wa Layaĥmilunna 'Athqālahum Wa 'Athqālāan Ma`a 'Athqālihim ۖ Wa Layus'alunna Yawma Al-Qiyāmati `Ammā Kānū Yaftarūna 029-013. And most certainly they shall carry their own burdens, and other burdens with their own burdens, and most certainly they shall be questioned on the resurrection day as to what they forged. ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ۖ ‌‍ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌
Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Nūĥāan 'Ilá Qawmihi Falabitha Fīhim 'Alfa Sanatin 'Illā Khamsīna `Āmāan Fa'akhadhahumu Aţ-Ţūfānu Wa Hum Žālimūn 029-014. And certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he remained among them a thousand years save fifty years. And the deluge overtook them, while they were unjust. ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Fa'anjaynāhu Wa 'Aşĥāba As-Safīnati Wa Ja`alnāhā 'Āyatan Lil`ālamīna 029-015. So We delivered him and the inmates of the ark, and made it a sign to the nations. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‍‌ ‌
Wa 'Ibhīma 'Idh Qāla Liqawmihi A`budū Allaha Wa Attaqūhu ۖ Dhālikum Khayrun Lakum 'In Kuntum Ta`lamūna 029-016. And (We sent) Ibrahim, when he said to his people: Serve Allah and be careful of (your duty to) Him; this is best for you, if you did but know: ‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍‍ ۖ‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍
'Innamā Ta`budūna Min Dūni Allāhi 'Awthānāan Wa Takhluqūna 'Ifkāan ۚ 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Ta`budūna Min Dūni Allāhi Lā Yamlikūna Lakum Rizqāanbtaghū `Inda Allāhi Ar-Rizqa Wa A`budūhu Wa Ashkurū Lahu~ ۖ 'Ilayhi Turja`ūna 029-017. You only worship idols besides Allah and you create a lie surely they whom you serve besides Allah do not control for you any sustenance, therefore seek the sustenance from Allah and serve Him and be grateful to Him; to Him you shall be brought back. ‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ۚ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌~ ۖ ‌‍‍‍
Wa 'In Tukadhdhibū Faqad Kadhdhaba 'Umamun Min Qablikum ۖ Wa Mā `Alá Ar-Rasūli 'Illā Al-Balāghu Al-Mubīnu 029-018. And if you reject (the truth), nations before you did indeed reject (the truth); and nothing is incumbent on the apostle but a plain delivering (of the message). ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍ۖ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‌‌
'Awalam Yaraw Kayfa Yubdi'u Allāhu Al-Khalqa Thumma Yu`īduhu~ ۚ 'Inna Dhālika `Alá Allāhi Yasīrun 029-019. What! do they not consider how Allah originates the creation, then reproduces it? Surely that is easy to Allah. ‌ ‍‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ~ ۚ ‌ ‌
Qul Sīrū Fī Al-'Arđi Fānžurū Kayfa Bada'a Al-Khalqa ۚ Thumma Allāhu Yunshi'u An-Nash'ata Al-'Ākhirata ۚ 'Inna Allāha `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun 029-020. Say: Travel in the earth and see how He makes the first creation, then Allah creates the latter creation; surely Allah has power over all things. ‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ۚ ‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ۚ ‍ ‌ ‍
Yu`adhdhibu Man Yashā'u Wa Yarĥamu Man Yashā'u ۖ Wa 'Ilayhi Tuqlabūna 029-021. He punishes whom He pleases and has mercy on whom He pleases, and to Him you shall be turned back. ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ۖ ‌‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍
Wa Mā 'Antum Bimu`jizīna Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Lā Fī As-Samā'i ۖ Wa Mā Lakum Min Dūni Allāhi Min Wa Līyin Wa Lā Naşīrin 029-022. And you shall not escape in the earth nor in the heaven, and you have neither a protector nor a helper besides Allah. ‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa Liqā'ihi~ 'Ūlā'ika Ya'isū Min Raĥmatī Wa 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun 029-023. And (as to) those who disbelieve in the communications of Allah and His meeting, they have despaired of My mercy, and these it is that shall have a painful punishment. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‌
Famā Kāna Jawāba Qawmihi~ 'Illā 'An Qālū Aqtulūhu 'Aw Ĥarriqūhu Fa'anjāhu Allāhu Mina An-Nāri ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Liqawmin Yu'uminūna 029-024. So naught was the answer of his people except that they said: Slay him or burn him; then Allah delivered him from the fire; most surely there are signs in this for a people who believe. ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Qāla 'Innamā Attakhadhtum Min Dūni Allāhi 'Awthānāan Mawaddata Baynikum Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunۖ Thumma Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Yakfuru Ba`đukum Biba`đin Wa Yal`anu Ba`đukum Ba`đāan Wa Ma'wākumu An-Nāru Wa Mā Lakum Minşirīna 029-025. And he said: You have only taken for yourselves idols besides Allah by way of friendship between you in this world's life, then on the resurrection day some of you shall deny others, and some of you shall curse others, and your abode is the fire, and you shall not have any helpers. ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‌ ۖ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌
Fa'āmana Lahu Lūţun ۘ Wa Qāla 'Innī Muhājirun 'Ilá Rabbī ۖ 'Innahu Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu 029-026. And Lut believed in Him, and he said: I am fleeing to my Lord, surely He is the Mighty, the Wise. ‍‍ۘ ‌‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۖ‍‍‍‍‌
Wa Wahabnā Lahu~ 'Isĥāqa Wa Ya`qūba Wa Ja`alnā Fī Dhurrīyatihi An-Nubūwata Wa Al-Kitāba Wa 'Ātaynāhu 'Ajrahu Fī Ad-Dunۖ Wa 'Innahu Fī Al-'Ākhirati Lamina Aş-Şāliĥīn 029-027. And We granted him Ishaq and Yaqoub, and caused the t prophethood and the book to remain in his seed, and We gave him his reward in this world, and in the hereafter he will most surely be among the good. ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ~ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍ ‍‍
Wa Lūţāan 'Idh Qāla Liqawmihi~ 'Innakum Lata'tūna Al-Fāĥishata Mā Sabaqakum Bihā Min 'Aĥadin Mina Al-`Ālamīna 029-028. And (We sent) Lut when he said to his people: Most surely you are guilty of an indecency which none of the nations has ever done before you; ‍‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌
'A'innakum Lata'tūna Ar-Rijāla Wa Taqţa`ūna As-Sabīla Wa Ta'tūna Fī Nādīkumu Al-Munkara ۖ Famā Kāna Jawāba Qawmihi~ 'Illā 'An Qālū A'tinā Bi`adhābi Allāhi 'In Kunta Mina Aş-Şādiqīna 029-029. What! do you come to the males and commit robbery on the highway, and you commit evil deeds in your assemblies? But nothing was the answer of his people except that they said: Bring on us Allah's punishment, if you are one of the truthful. ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍ۖ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌
Qāla Rabbi Anşurnī `Alá Al-Qawmi Al-Mufsidīna 029-030. He said: My Lord! help me against the mischievous people. ‌‍ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍
Wa Lammā Jā'at Rusulunā 'Ibhīma Bil-BushQālū 'Innā Muhlikū 'Ahli Hadhihi Al-Qaryati ۖ 'Inna 'Ahlahā Kānū Žālimīna 029-031. And when Our messengers came to Ibrahim with the good news, they said: Surely we are going to destroy the people of this town, for its people are unjust. ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍ۖ ‌‌
Qāla 'Inna Fīhā Lūţāan ۚ Qālū Naĥnu 'A`lamu Biman Fīhā ۖ Lanunajjiyannahu Wa 'Ahlahu~ 'Illā Amra'atahu Kānat Mina Al-Ghābirīn 029-032. He said: Surely in it is Lut. They said: We know well who is in it; we shall certainly deliver him and his followers, except his wife; she shall be of those who remain behind. ‍‌ۚ ‌ ‌ ‍‌ۖ‍‍ ‌‌~ ‌‌ ‌‍ ‍‍‍‍
Wa Lammā 'An Jā'at Rusulunā Lūţāan Sī'a Bihim Wa Đāqa Bihim Dhar`āan Wa Qālū Lā Takhaf Wa Lā Taĥzan ۖ 'Innā Munajjūka Wa 'Ahlaka 'Illā Amra'ataka Kānat Mina Al-Ghābirīna 029-033. And when Our messengers came to Lut he was grieved on account of them, and he felt powerless (to protect) them; and they said: Fear not, nor grieve; surely we will deliver you and your followers, except your wife; she shall be of those who remain behind. ‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ۖ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍
'Innā Munzilūna `Alá 'Ahli Hadhihi Al-Qaryati Rijzāan Mina As-Samā'i Bimā Kānū Yafsuqūna 029-034. Surely We will cause to come down upon the people of this town a punishment from heaven, because they transgressed. ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Laqad Taraknā Minhā 'Āyatan Bayyinatan Liqawmin Ya`qilūna 029-035. And certainly We have left a clear sign of it for a people who understand. ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍
Wa 'Ilá Madyana 'Akhāhum Shu`aybāan Faqāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Allaha Wa Arjū Al-Yawma Al-'Ākhira Wa Lā Ta`thaw Fī Al-'Arđi Mufsidīn 029-036. And to Madyan (We sent) their brother Shuaib, so he said: O my people! serve Allah and fear the latter day and do not act corruptly in the land, making mischief. ‌‌ ‍ ‌‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍
Fakadhdhabūhu Fa'akhadhat/humu Ar-Rajfatu Fa'aşbaĥū Fī Dārihimthimīna 029-037. But they rejected him, so a severe earthquake overtook them, and they became motionless bodies in their abode. ‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌
Wa `Ādāan Wa Thamūda Wa Qad Tabayyana Lakum Min Masākinihim ۖ Wa Zayyana Lahumu Ash-Shayţānu 'A`mālahum Faşaddahum `Ani As-Sabīli Wa Kānū Mustabşirīna 029-038. And (We destroyed) Ad and Samood, and from their dwellings (this) is apparent to you indeed; and the Shaitan made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so he kept them back from the path, though they were endowed with intelligence and skill, ‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Qārūna Wa Fir`awna Wa Hāmāna ۖ Wa Laqad Jā'ahum Mūsá Bil-Bayyināti Fāstakbarū Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Kānū Sābiqīna 029-039. And (We destroyed) Qaroun and Firon and Haman; and certainly Musa came to them with clear arguments, but they behaved haughtily in the land; yet they could not outstrip (Us). ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍ ۖ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍
Fakullāan 'Akhadhnā Bidhanbihi ۖ Faminhum Man 'Arsalnā `Alayhi Ĥāşibāan Wa Minhum Man 'Akhadhat/hu Aş-Şayĥatu Wa Minhum Man Khasafnā Bihi Al-'Arđa Wa Minhum Man 'Aghraqۚ Wa Mā Kāna Allāhu Liyažlimahum Wa Lakin Kānū 'Anfusahum Yažlimūna 029-040. So each We punished for his sin; of them was he on whom We sent down a violent storm, and of them was he whom the rumbling overtook, and of them was he whom We made to be swallowed up by the earth, and of them was he whom We drowned; and it did not beseem Allah that He should be unjust to them, but they were unjust to their own souls. ‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌‍‍ ۖ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍
Mathalu Al-Ladhīna Attakhadhū Min Dūni Allāhi 'Awliyā'a Kamathali Al-`Ankabūti Attakhadhat Baytāan ۖ Wa 'Inna 'Awhana Al-Buyūti Labaytu Al-`Ankabūti ۖ Law Kānū Ya`lamūna 029-041. The parable of those who take guardians besides Allah is as the parable of the spider that makes for itself a house; and most surely the frailest of the houses is the spider's house did they but know. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍ۖ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ۖ
'Inna Allāha Ya`lamu Mā Yad`ūna Min Dūnihi Min Shay'in ۚ Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu 029-042. Surely Allah knows whatever thing they call upon besides Him; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‌ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
Wa Tilka Al-'Amthālu Nađribuhā Lilnnāsi ۖ Wa Mā Ya`qiluhā 'Illā Al-`Ālimūna 029-043. And (as for) these examples, We set them forth for men, and none understand them but the learned. ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌
Khalaqa Allāhu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Bil-Ĥaqqi ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan Lilmu'uminīna 029-044. Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth; most surely there is a sign in this for the believers. ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ۚ
Atlu Mā 'Ūĥiya 'Ilayka Mina Al-Kitābi Wa 'Aqimu Aş-Şalāata ۖ 'Inna Aş-Şalāata Tanhá `Ani Al-Faĥshā'i Wa Al-Munkari ۗ Wa Ladhikru Allāhi 'Akbaru ۗ Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu Mā Taşna`ūna 029-045. Recite that which has been revealed to you of the Book and keep up prayer; surely prayer keeps (one) away from indecency and evil, and certainly the remembrance of Allah is the greatest, and Allah knows what you do. ‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍ۖ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۗ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‌ ۗ ‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Lā Tujādilū 'Ahla Al-Kitābi 'Illā Bi-Atī Hiya 'Aĥsanu 'Illā Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Minhum ۖ Wa Qūlū 'Āmannā Bial-Ladhī 'Unzila 'Ilaynā Wa 'Unzila 'Ilaykum Wa 'Ilahunā Wa 'Ilahukum Wāĥidun Wa Naĥnu Lahu Muslimūna 029-046. And do not dispute with the followers of the Book except by what is best, except those of them who act unjustly, and say: We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you, and our God and your God is One, and to Him do we submit. ‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍ۖ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‌‍ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‍
Wa Kadhalika 'Anzalnā 'Ilayka Al-Kitāba ۚ Fa-Al-Ladhīna 'Ātaynāhumu Al-Kitāba Yu'uminūna Bihi ۖ Wa Min Hā'uulā' Man Yu'uminu Bihi ۚ Wa Mā Yajĥadu Bi'āyātinā 'Illā Al-Kāfirūna 029-047. And thus have We revealed the Book to you. So those whom We have given the Book believe in it, and of these there are those who believe in it, and none deny Our communications except the unbelievers. ‌‌‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ۚ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ۖ ‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‌ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‌
Wa Mā Kunta Tatlū Min Qablihi Min Kitābin Wa Lā Takhuţţuhu Biyamīnika ۖ 'Idhāan Lārtāba Al-Mubţilūna 029-048. And you did not recite before it any book, nor did you transcribe one with your right hand, for then could those who say untrue things have doubted. ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ۖ ‌‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍
Bal Huwa 'Āyātun BayyinātunŞudūri Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-`Ilma ۚ Wa Mā Yajĥadu Bi'āyātinā 'Illā Až-Žālimūna 029-049. Nay! these are clear communications in the breasts of those who are granted knowledge; and none deny Our communications except the unjust. ‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍
Wa Qālū Lawlā 'Unzila `Alayhi 'Āyātun Min Rabbihi ۖ Qul 'Innamā Al-'Āyātu `Inda Allāhi Wa 'Innamā 'Anā Nadhīrun Mubīnun 029-050. And they say: Why are not signs sent down upon him from his Lord? Say: The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner. ‌ ‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ۖ ‍ ‌‍‌ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍
'Awalam Yakfihim 'Annā 'Anzalnā `Alayka Al-Kitāba Yutlá `Alayhim ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika Laraĥmatan Wa Dhikrá Liqawmin Yu'uminūna 029-051. Is it not enough for them that We have revealed to you the Book which is recited to them? Most surely there is mercy in this and a reminder for a people who believe. ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ۚ ‌ ‍ ‌ ‌‌‍‌‌ ‍‍‍
Qul Kafá Billāhi Baynī Wa Baynakum Shahīdāan ۖ Ya`lamu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۗ Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Bil-Bāţili Wa Kafarū Billāhi~ 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Khāsirūna 029-052. Say: Allah is sufficient as a witness between me and you; He knows what is in the heavens and the earth. And (as for) those who believe in the falsehood and disbelieve in Allah, these it is that are the losers. ‍ ‌ ‍‍ ‌ ‌ۖ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ۗ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌
Wa Yasta`jilūnaka Bil-`Adhābi ۚ Wa Lawlā 'Ajalun Musamman Lajā'ahumu Al-`Adhābu Wa Laya'tiyannahum Baghtatan Wa Hum Lā Yash`urūna 029-053. And they ask you to hasten on the chastisement; and had not a term been appointed, the chastisement would certainly have come to them; and most certainly it will come to them all of a sudden while they will not perceive. ‍‍‌ ۚ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌
Yasta`jilūnaka Bil-`Adhābi Wa 'Inna Jahannama Lamuĥīţatun Bil-Kāfirīna 029-054. They ask you to hasten on the chastisement, and most surely hell encompasses the unbelievers; ‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍
Yawma Yaghshāhumu Al-`Adhābu Min Fawqihim Wa Min Taĥti 'Arjulihim Wa Yaqūlu Dhūqū Mā Kuntum Ta`malūna 029-055. On the day when the chastisement shall cover them from above them, and from beneath their feet; and He shall say: Taste what you did. ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍
Yā `Ibādiya Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Inna 'Arđī Wāsi`atun Fa'īyāya Fā`budūni 029-056. O My servants who believe! surely My earth is vast, therefore Me alone should you serve. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌‌‍‍ ‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‍
Kullu Nafsin Dhā'iqatu Al-Mawti ۖ Thumma 'Ilaynā Turja`ūna 029-057. Every soul must taste of death, then to Us you shall be brought back. ‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍ ۖ ‌‌
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lanubawwi'annahum Mina Al-Jannati Ghurafāan Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā ۚ Ni`ma 'Ajru Al-`Āmilīna 029-058. And (as for) those who believe and do good, We will certainly give them abode in the high places in gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein; how good the reward of the workers: ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ۚ‍‌
Al-Ladhīna Şabarū Wa `Alá Rabbihim Yatawakkalūna 029-059. Those who are patient, and on their Lord do they rely. ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍
Wa Ka'ayyin Min Dābbatin Lā Taĥmilu Rizqahā Al-Lahu Yarzuquhā Wa 'Īyākum ۚ Wa Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu 029-060. And how many a living creature that does not carry its sustenance: Allah sustains it and yourselves; and He is the Hearing, the Knowing. ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍
Wa La'in Sa'altahum Man Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Wa Sakhkhara Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Layaqūlunna Allāhu ۖ Fa'annā Yu'ufakūna 029-061. And if you ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth and made the sun and the moon subservient, they will certainly say, Allah. Whence are they then turned away? ‍‌ ‍‌ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ۖ ‍‌
Al-Lahu Yabsuţu Ar-Rizqa Liman Yashā'u Min `Ibādihi Wa Yaqdiru Lahu~ ۚ 'Inna Allāha Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun 029-062. Allah makes abundant the means of subsistence for whom He pleases of His servants, and straitens them for whom (He pleases) surely Allah is Cognizant of all things. ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ~ ۚ ‍ ‍
Wa La'in Sa'altahum Man Nazzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fa'aĥyā Bihi Al-'Arđa Min Ba`di Mawtihā Layaqūlunna Allāhu ۚ Quli Al-Ĥamdu Lillāh ۚ Bal 'Aktharuhum Lā Ya`qilūna 029-063. And if you ask them Who is it that sends down water from the clouds, then gives life to the earth with it after its death, they will certainly say, Allah. Say: All praise is due to Allah. Nay, most of them do not understand. ‍‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ۚ ۚ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Mā Hadhihi Al-Ĥayāatu Ad-Dunyā 'Illā Lahwun Wa La`ibun ۚ Wa 'Inna Ad-Dāra Al-'Ākhirata Lahiya Al-Ĥayawānu ۚ Law Kānū Ya`lamūna 029-064. And this life of the world is nothing but a sport and a play; and as for the next abode, that most surely is the life-- did they but know! ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‌‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‌ ۚ
Fa'idhā Rakibū Fī Al-Fulki Da`aw Al-Laha Mukhlişīna Lahu Ad-Dīna Falammā Najjāhum 'Ilá Al-Barri 'Idhā Hum Yushrikūna 029-065. So when they ride in the ships they call upon Allah, being sincerely obedient to Him, but when He brings them safe to the land, lo! they associate others (with Him); ‌‌‌ ‌‍ ‌‌‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌‌‌ ‍
Liyakfurū Bimā 'Ātaynāhum Wa Liyatamatta`ū ۖ Fasawfa Ya`lamūna 029-066. Thus they become ungrateful for what We have given them, so that they may enjoy; but they shall soon know. ‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ۖ
'Awalam Yaraw 'Annā Ja`alnā Ĥaramāan 'Āmināan Wa Yutakhaţţafu An-Nāsu Min Ĥawlihim ۚ 'Afabiālbāţili Yu'uminūna Wa Bini`mati Allāhi Yakfurūna 029-067. Do they not see that We have made a sacred territory secure, while men are carried off by force from around them? Will they still believe in the falsehood and disbelieve in the favour of Allah? ‌ ‍‌‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ۚ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌
Wa Man 'Ažlamu Mimmani Aftará `Alá Allāhi Kadhibāan 'Aw Kadhdhaba Bil-Ĥaqqi Lammā Jā'ahu~ ۚ 'Alaysa Fī Jahannama Mathwan Lilkāfirīna 029-068. And who is more unjust than one who forges a lie against Allah, or gives the lie to the truth when it has come to him? Will not in hell be the abode of the unbelievers? ‍‌ ‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍~ ۚ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍
Wa Al-Ladhīna Jāhadū Fīnā Lanahdiyannahum Subulanā ۚ Wa 'Inna Allāha Lama`a Al-Muĥsinīna 029-069. And (as for) those who strive hard for Us, We will most certainly guide them in Our ways; and Allah is most surely with the doers of good. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ۚ ‌‌
