Tilka 'Āyātu Al-Kitābi Al-Mubīni 028-002. These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. تِلْكَ ‌آي‍‍َ‍اتُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َ‍ابِ ‌الْمُبِينِ
Natlū `Alayka Min Naba'i Mūsá Wa Fir`awna Bil-Ĥaqqi Liqawmin Yu'uminūna 028-003. We recite to you from the account of Musa and Firon with truth for people who believe. نَتْلُو‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ مِ‍‌‍نْ نَبَإِ‌ مُوسَى‌ ‌وَفِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ بِ‍الْحَ‍‍قِّ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ‌ يُؤْمِنُونَ
'Inna Fir`awna `Alā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Ja`ala 'Ahlahā Shiya`āan Yastađ`ifu Ţā'ifatan Minhum Yudhabbiĥu 'Abnā'ahum Wa Yastaĥyī Nisā'ahum ۚ 'Innahu Kāna Mina Al-Mufsidīna 028-004. Surely Firon exalted himself in the land and made its people into parties, weakening one party from among them; he slaughtered their sons and let their women live; surely he was one of the mischiefmakers. إِنَّ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ عَلاَ‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَجَعَلَ ‌أَهْلَهَا‌ شِيَعا‌ ً‌ يَسْتَ‍‍ضْ‍‍عِفُ طَ‍‍ائِفَة ً‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ يُذَبِّحُ ‌أَبْ‍‍ن‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَهُمْ ‌وَيَسْتَحْيِي نِس‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَهُمْ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ ك‍‍َ‍انَ مِنَ ‌الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Wa Nurīdu 'An Namunna `Alá Al-Ladhīna Astuđ`ifū Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Naj`alahum 'A'immatan Wa Naj`alahumu Al-Wārithīna 028-005. And We desired to bestow a favor upon those who were deemed weak in the land, and to make them the Imams, and to make them the heirs, وَنُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ نَمُ‍‍نَّ عَلَى‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اسْتُ‍‍ضْ‍‍عِفُو‌ا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَنَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلَهُمْ ‌أَئِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ة ً‌ ‌وَنَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلَهُمُ ‌الْوَ‌ا‌رِثِينَ
Wa Numakkina Lahum Al-'Arđi Wa Nuriya Fir`awna Wa Hāmāna Wa Junūdahumā Minhum Mā Kānū Yaĥdharūna 028-006. And to grant them power in the land, and to make Firon and Haman and their hosts see from them what they feared. وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَنُ‍‍رِيَ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ ‌وَهَام‍‍َ‍انَ ‌وَجُنُو‌دَهُمَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَحْذَ‌رُ‌ونَ
Wa 'Awĥaynā 'Ilá 'Ummi Mūsá 'An 'Arđi`īhi ۖ Fa'idhā Khifti `Alayhi Fa'alqīhi Fī Al-Yammi Wa Lā Takhāfī Wa Lā Taĥzanī ۖ 'Innā Rāddūhu 'Ilayki Wa Jā`ilūhu Mina Al-Mursalīna 028-007. And We revealed to Musa's mothers, saying: Give him suck, then when you fear for him, cast him into the river and do not fear nor grieve; surely We wi!l bring him back to you and make him one of the apostles. وَ‌أَ‌وْحَيْنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أُمِّ مُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‌نْ ‌أَ‌رْ‍ضِ‍‍ع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ۖ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ خِ‍‍فْتِ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ فَأَلْ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍هِ فِي ‌الْيَ‍‍مِّ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍خَ‍‍افِي ‌وَلاَ‌ تَحْزَنِ‍‍ي ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌ر‍َ‍‌ا‌دّ‍ُ‍‌وهُ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كِ ‌وَجَاعِل‍‍ُ‍وهُ مِنَ ‌الْمُرْسَلِينَ
Fāltaqaţahu~ 'Ālu Fir`awna Liyakūna Lahum `Adūwāan Wa Ĥazanāan ۗ 'Inna Fir`awna Wa Hāmāna Wa Junūdahumā Kānū Khāţi'īna 028-008. And Firon's family took him up that he might be an enemy and a grief for them; surely Firon and Haman and their hosts were wrongdoers. فَالْتَ‍‍قَ‍‍طَ‍‍هُ~ُ ‌آلُ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ لِيَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ لَهُمْ عَدُ‌وّ‌ا‌ ً‌ ‌وَحَزَنا‌‌ ًۗ ‌إِنَّ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ ‌وَهَام‍‍َ‍انَ ‌وَجُنُو‌دَهُمَا‌ كَانُو‌اخَ‍‍اطِ‍‍ئ‍‍ِ‍‍ينَ
Wa Qālat Amra'atu Fir`awna Qurratu `Aynin Lī Wa Laka ۖ Lā Taqtulūhu `Asá 'An Yanfa`anā 'Aw Nattakhidhahu Waladāan Wa Hum Lā Yash`urūna 028-009. And Firon's wife said: A refreshment of the eye to me and to you; do not slay him; maybe he will be useful to us, or we may take him for a son; and they did not perceive. وَ‍قَ‍‍الَتْ ‌امْ‍رَ‌أَةُ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ قُ‍رَّةُ عَ‍‍يْ‍‍ن‍ٍ‌ لِي ‌وَلَكَ ۖ لاَ‌ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍تُل‍‍ُ‍وهُ عَسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‌نْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍فَعَنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ نَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذَهُ ‌وَلَد‌ا‌ ً‌ ‌وَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَشْعُرُ‌ونَ
Wa 'Aşbaĥa Fu'uādu 'Ummi Mūsá Fārighāan ۖ 'In Kādat Latubdī Bihi Lawlā 'An Rabaţnā `Alá Qalbihā Litakūna Mina Al-Mu'uminīna 028-010. And the heart of Musa's mother was free (from anxiety) she would have almost disclosed it had We not strengthened her heart so that she might be of the believers. وَ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍بَحَ فُؤ‍َ‍‌ا‌دُ‌ ‌أُمِّ مُوسَى‌ فَا‌رِ‍‍غ‍‍ا‌‌ ًۖ ‌إِ‌نْ كَا‌دَتْ لَتُ‍‍بْ‍‍دِي بِ‍‍هِ لَوْلاَ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ ‌‍رَبَ‍‍طْ‍‍نَا‌ عَلَى‌ قَ‍‍لْبِهَا‌ لِتَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِنَ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa Qālat Li'khtihi Quşşīhi ۖ Fabaşurat Bihi `An Junubin Wa Hum Lā Yash`urūna 028-011. And she said to his sister: Follow him up. So she watched him from a distance while they did not perceive, وَ‍قَ‍‍الَتْ لِأخْ‍‍تِ‍‍هِ قُ‍‍صِّ‍‍ي‍‍هِ ۖ فَبَ‍‍صُ‍رَتْ بِ‍‍هِ عَ‍‌‍نْ جُنُبٍ‌ ‌وَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَشْعُرُ‌ونَ
Wa Ĥarramnā `Alayhi Al-Mađi`a Min Qablu Faqālat Hal 'Adullukum `Alá 'Ahli Baytin Yakfulūnahu Lakum Wa Hum Lahuşūna 028-012. And We ordained that he refused to suck any foster mother before, so she said: Shall I point out to you the people of a house who will take care of him for you, and they will be benevolent to him? وَحَ‍رَّمْنَا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌الْمَ‍رَ‌اضِ‍‍عَ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍الَتْ هَلْ ‌أَ‌دُلُّكُمْ عَلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَهْلِ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍تٍ‌ يَكْفُلُونَ‍‍هُ لَكُمْ ‌وَهُمْ لَ‍‍هُ نَاصِ‍‍حُونَ
Faradadnāhu 'Ilá 'Ummihi Kay Taqarra `Aynuhā Wa Lā Taĥzana Wa Lita`lama 'Anna Wa`da Allāhi Ĥaqqun Wa Lakinna 'Aktharahum Lā Ya`lamūna 028-013. So We gave him back to his mother that her eye might be refreshed, and that she might no grieve, and that she might know that the promise of Allah is true, but most of them do not know. فَ‍رَ‌دَ‌دْن‍‍َ‍اهُ ‌إِلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أُمِّ‍‍هِ كَيْ تَ‍‍قَ‍رَّ‌ عَيْنُهَا‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَحْزَنَ ‌وَلِتَعْلَمَ ‌أَنَّ ‌وَعْدَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ حَ‍‍قٌّ‌ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نَّ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Lammā Balagha 'Ashuddahu Wa Astawá 'Ātaynāhu Ĥukmāan Wa `Ilmāan ۚ Wa Kadhalika Naj Al-Muĥsinīna 028-014. And when he attained his maturity and became full grown, We granted him wisdom and knowledge; and thus do We reward those who do good (to others). وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ بَلَ‍‍غَ ‌أَشُدَّهُ ‌وَ‌اسْتَوَ‌ى‌ ‌آتَيْن‍‍َ‍اهُ حُكْما‌ ً‌ ‌وَعِلْما‌ ًۚ ‌وَكَذَلِكَ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِي ‌الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Wa Dakhala Al-Madīnata `Alá Ĥīni Ghaflatin Min 'Ahlihā Fawajada Fīhā Rajulayni Yaqtatilāni Hādhā Min Shī`atihi Wa Hadhā Min `Adūwihi ۖ Fāstaghāthahu Al-Ladhī Min Shī`atihi `Alá Al-Ladhī Min `Adūwihi Fawakazahu Mūsá Faqađá `Alayhi ۖ Qāla Hādhā Min `Amali Ash-Shayţāni ۖ 'Innahu `Adūwun Muđillun Mubīnun 028-015. And he went into the city at a time of unvigilance on the part of its people, so he found therein two men fighting, one being of his party and the other of his foes, and he who was of his party cried out to him for help against him who was of his enemies, so Musa struck him with his fist and killed him. He said: This is on account of the Shaitan's doing; surely he is an enemy, openly leading astray. وَ‌دَ‍خَ‍‍لَ ‌الْمَدِينَةَ عَلَى‌ ح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نِ غَ‍‍فْلَةٍ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَهْلِهَا‌ فَوَجَدَ‌ فِيهَا‌ ‌‍رَجُلَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ يَ‍‍قْ‍‍تَتِلاَنِ هَذَ‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ شِيعَتِ‍‍هِ ‌وَهَذَ‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ عَدُ‌وِّهِ ۖ فَاسْتَ‍‍غَ‍‍اثَهُ ‌الَّذِي مِ‍‌‍نْ شِيعَتِ‍‍هِ عَلَى‌ ‌الَّذِي مِ‍‌‍نْ عَدُ‌وِّهِ فَوَكَزَهُ مُوسَى‌ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍ضَ‍‍ى‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ۖ قَ‍‍الَ هَذَ‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ عَمَلِ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍‍انِ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ عَدُ‌وّ‌ٌ‌ مُ‍‍ضِ‍‍لٌّ‌ مُبِينٌ
Qāla Rabbi 'Innī Žalamtu Nafsī Fāghfir Lī Faghafara Lahu~ ۚ 'Innahu Huwa Al-Ghafūru Ar-Raĥīmu 028-016. He said: My Lord! surely I have done harm to myself, so do Thou protect me. So He protected him; surely He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. قَ‍‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ظَ‍‍لَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْ‍‍فِ‍‍رْ‌ لِي فَ‍‍غَ‍‍فَ‍رَ‌ لَهُ~ُ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ هُوَ‌ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌رُ‌ ‌ال‍رَّحِيمُ
Qāla Rabbi Bimā 'An`amta `Alayya Falan 'Akūna Žahīrāan Lilmujrimīna 028-017. He said: My Lord! because Thou hast bestowed a favor on me, I shall never be a backer of the guilty. قَ‍‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ بِمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍عَمْتَ عَلَيَّ فَلَ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ ظَ‍‍هِي‍‍ر‌ا‌ ً‌ لِلْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِمِينَ
Fa'aşbaĥa Fī Al-Madīnati Khā'ifāan Yataraqqabu Fa'idhā Al-Ladhī Astanşarahu Bil-'Amsi Yastaşrikhuhu ۚ Qāla Lahu Mūsá 'Innaka Laghawīyun Mubīnun 028-018. And he was in the city, fearing, awaiting, when lo! he who had asked his assistance the day before was crying out to him for aid. Musa said to him: You are most surely one erring manifestly. فَأَ‍صْ‍‍بَحَ فِي ‌الْمَدِينَةِ خَ‍‍ائِفا‌ ً‌ يَتَ‍رَقَّ‍‍بُ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌الَّذِي ‌اسْتَ‍‌‍ن‍‍صَ‍رَهُ بِ‍الأَمْسِ يَسْتَ‍‍صْ‍‍رِ‍‍خُ‍‍هُ ۚ قَ‍‍الَ لَ‍‍هُ مُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ لَ‍‍غَ‍‍وِيٌّ‌ مُبِينٌ
Falammā 'An 'Arāda 'An Yabţisha Bial-Ladhī Huwa `Adūwun Lahumā Qāla Yā Mūsá 'Aturīdu 'An Taqtulanī Kamā Qatalta Nafsāan Bil-'Amsi ۖ 'In Turīdu 'Illā 'An Takūna Jabbāan Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Turīdu 'An Takūna Mina Al-Muşliĥīna 028-019. So when he desired to seize him who was an enemy to them both, he said: O Musa! do you intend to kill me as you killed a person yesterday? You desire nothing but that you should be a tyrant in the land, and you do not desire to be of those who act aright. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ ‌أَ‌رَ‍‌ا‌دَ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍طِ‍‍شَ بِ‍الَّذِي هُوَ‌ عَدُ‌وّ‌ٌ‌ لَهُمَا‌ قَ‍‍الَ يَامُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَتُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍تُلَنِي كَمَا‌ قَ‍‍تَلْتَ نَفْسا‌ ً‌ بِ‍الأَمْسِ ‌إِ‌نْ ۖ تُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ تَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ جَبَّا‌ر‌ا‌‌ ً‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَمَا‌ تُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ تَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِنَ ‌الْمُ‍‍صْ‍‍لِحِينَ
Wa Jā'a Rajulun Min 'Aqşá Al-Madīnati Yas`á Qāla Yā Mūsá 'Inna Al-Mala'a Ya'tamirūna Bika Liyaqtulūka Fākhruj 'Innī Laka Mina An-Nāşīna 028-020. And a man came running from the remotest part of the city. He said: O Musa! surely the chiefs are consulting together to slay you, therefore depart (at once); surely I am of those who wish well to you. وَج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ ‌‍رَجُلٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ى‌ ‌الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْعَى‌ قَ‍‍الَ يَامُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِنَّ ‌الْمَلَأَ‌ يَأْتَمِر‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِكَ لِيَ‍‍قْ‍‍تُل‍‍ُ‍وكَ فَاخْ‍‍رُجْ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي لَكَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍اصِ‍‍حِينَ
Fakharaja Minhā Khā'ifāan Yataraqqabu ۖ Qāla Rabbi Najjinī Mina Al-Qawmi Až-Žālimīna 028-021. So he went forth therefrom, fearing, awaiting, (and) he said: My Lord! deliver me from the unjust people. فَ‍خَ‍رَجَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ خَ‍‍ائِفا‌ ً‌ يَتَ‍رَقَّ‍‍بُ ۖ قَ‍‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Lammā Tawajjaha Tilqā'a Madyana Qāla `Asá Rabbī 'An Yahdiyanī Sawā'a As-Sabīl 028-022. And when he turned his face towards Madyan, he said: Maybe my Lord will guide me in the right path. وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تَوَجَّهَ تِلْ‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌ءَ‌ مَ‍‍دْيَنَ قَ‍‍الَ عَسَى‌ ‌‍رَبِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌نْ يَهْدِيَنِي سَو‍َ‍‌ا‌ءَ‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّ‍‍بِ‍‍يل
Wa Lammā Warada Mā'a Madyana Wajada `Alayhi 'Ummatan Mina An-Nāsi Yasqūna Wa Wajada Min Dūnihimu Amra'tayni Tadhūdāni ۖ Qāla Mā Khaţbukumā ۖ Qālatā Lā Nasqī Ĥattá Yuşdira Ar-Ri`ā'u ۖ Wa 'Abūnā Shaykhun Kabīrun 028-023. And when he came to the water of Madyan, he found on it a group of men watering, and he found besides them two women keeping back (their flocks). He said: What is the matter with you? They said: We cannot water until the shepherds take away (their sheep) from the water, and our father is a very old man. وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌وَ‌‍رَ‌دَ‌ م‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ مَ‍‍دْيَنَ ‌وَجَدَ‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ة ً‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍اسِ يَسْ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ ‌وَ‌وَجَدَ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِمُ ‌امْ‍رَ‌أتَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ تَذُ‌و‌د‍َ‍‌انِ ۖ قَ‍‍الَ مَا‌ خَ‍‍طْ‍‍بُكُمَا‌ ۖ قَ‍‍الَتَا‌ لاَ‌ نَسْ‍‍قِ‍‍ي حَتَّى‌ يُ‍‍صْ‍‍دِ‌ر‍َ‍‌ ‌ال‍‍رِّع‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَبُونَا‌ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍خ‌‍ٌ‌ كَبِيرٌ
Fasaqá Lahumā Thumma Tawallá 'Ilá Až-Žilli Faqāla Rabbi 'Innī Limā 'Anzalta 'Ilayya Min Khayrin Faqīrun 028-024. So he watered (their sheep) for them, then went back to the shade and said: My Lord! surely I stand in need of whatever good Thou mayest send down to me. فَسَ‍قَ‍‍ى‌ لَهُمَا‌ ثُ‍‍مَّ تَوَلَّ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍ظِّ‍‍لِّ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي لِمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْتَ ‌إِلَيَّ مِ‍‌‍نْ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌‌ٍ‌ فَ‍‍قِ‍‍يرٌ
Fajā'at/hu 'Iĥdāhumā Tamshī `Alá Astiĥyā'in Qālat 'Inna 'Abī Yad`ūka Liyajziyaka 'Ajra Mā Saqayta Lanā ۚ Falammā Jā'ahu Wa Qaşşa `Alayhi Al-Qaşaşa Qāla Lā Takhaf ۖ Najawta Mina Al-Qawmi Až-Žālimīna 028-025. Then one of the two women came to him walking bashfully. She said: My father invites you that he may give you the reward of your having watered for us. So when he came to him and gave to him the account, he said: Fear not, you are secure from the unjust people. فَج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَتْهُ ‌إِحْدَ‌اهُمَا‌ تَمْشِي عَلَى‌ ‌اسْتِحْي‍‍َ‍ا‌ء‌‌ٍقَ‍‍الَتْ ‌إِنَّ ‌أَبِي يَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍وكَ لِيَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِيَكَ ‌أَجْ‍‍‍رَ‌ مَا‌ سَ‍‍قَ‍‍يْ‍‍تَ لَنَا‌ ۚ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَهُ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍صَّ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍صَ‍‍صَ قَ‍‍الَ لاَ‌ تَ‍‍خَ‍‍فْ ۖ نَجَ‍‍وْتَ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Qālat 'Iĥdāhumā Yā 'Abati Asta'jirhu ۖ 'Inna Khayra Mani Asta'jarta Al-Qawīyu Al-'Amīnu 028-026. Said one of them: O my father! employ him, surely the best of those that you can employ is the strong man, the faithful one. قَ‍‍الَتْ ‌إِحْدَ‌اهُمَا‌ ي‍‍َ‍ا‌أَبَتِ ‌اسْتَأْجِ‍‍رْهُ ‌إِنَّ ۖ خَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌ مَنِ ‌اسْتَأْجَرْتَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وِيُّ ‌الأَمِينُ
Qāla 'Innī 'Urīdu 'An 'Unkiĥaka 'Iĥdá Abnatayya Hātayni `Alá 'An Ta'juraThamāniyata Ĥijajin ۖ Fa'in 'Atmamta `Ashan Famin `Indika ۖ Wa Mā 'Urīdu 'An 'Ashuqqa `Alayka ۚ Satajidunī 'In Shā'a Allāhu Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna 028-027. He said: I desire to marry one of these two daughters of mine to you on condition that you should serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten, it will be of your own free will, and I do not wish to be hard to you; if Allah please, you will find me one of the good. قَ‍‍الَ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أُ‌ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ ‌أُ‌ن‍‍كِحَكَ ‌إِحْدَ‌ى‌ ‌ابْ‍‍نَتَيَّ هَاتَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ عَلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‌نْ تَأْجُ‍رَنِي ثَمَانِيَةَ حِجَج‌‍ٍۖ فَإِ‌نْ ‌أَتْمَمْتَ عَشْر‌ا‌‌ ً‌ فَمِ‍‌‍نْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِكَ ۖ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أُ‌ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ ‌أَشُ‍‍قَّ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ۚ سَتَجِدُنِ‍‍ي ‌إِ‌نْ ش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِحِينَ
Qāla Dhālika Baynī Wa Baynaka ۖ 'Ayyamā Al-'Ajalayni Qađaytu Falā `Udwāna `Alayya ۖ Wa Allāhu `Alá Mā Naqūlu Wa Kīlun 028-028. He said: This shall be (an agreement) between me and you; whichever of the two terms I fulfill, there shall be no wrongdoing to me; and Allah is a witness of what we say. قَ‍‍الَ ‌ذَلِكَ بَيْنِي ‌وَبَيْنَكَ ۖ ‌أَيَّمَا‌ ‌الأَجَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ قَ‍‍ضَ‍‍يْ‍‍تُ فَلاَ‌ عُ‍‍دْ‌و‍َ‍‌انَ عَلَيَّ ۖ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عَلَى‌ مَا‌ نَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌وَكِيلٌ
Falammā Qađá Mūsá Al-'Ajala Wa Sāra Bi'ahlihi~ 'Ānasa Min Jānibi Aţ-Ţūri Nāan Qāla Li'hlihi Amkuthū 'Innī 'Ānastu Nāan La`allī 'Ātīkum Minhā Bikhabarin 'Aw Jadhwatin Mina An-Nāri La`allakum Taşţalūna 028-029. So when Musa had fulfilled the term, and he journeyed with his family, he perceived on this side of the mountain a fire. He said to his family: Wait, I have seen a fire, maybe I will bring to you from it some news or a brand of fire, so that you may warm yourselves. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ قَ‍‍ضَ‍‍ى‌ مُوسَى‌ ‌الأَجَلَ ‌وَس‍‍َ‍ا‌‍رَ‌ بِأَهْلِهِ ‌آنَسَ مِ‍‌‍نْ جَانِبِ ‌ال‍‍طُّ‍‍و‌ر‍ِ‍‌ نَا‌ر‌ا‌‌ ًقَ‍‍الَ لِأهْلِهِ ‌امْكُثُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌آنَسْتُ نَا‌ر‌ا‌ ً‌ لَعَلِّ‍‍ي ‌آتِيكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ بِ‍‍خَ‍‍بَرٍ‌ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ جَذْ‌وَةٍ‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍ا‌ر‍ِ‍‌ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَ‍‍صْ‍‍طَ‍‍لُونَ
Falammā 'Atāhā Nūdī Min Shāţi'i Al-Wādī Al-'Aymani Fī Al-Buq`ati Al-Mubārakati Mina Ash-Shajarati 'An Yā Mūsá 'Innī 'Anā Al-Lahu Rabbu Al-`Ālamīna 028-030. And when he came to it, a voice was uttered from the right side of the valley in the blessed spot of the bush, saying: O Musa! surely I am Allah, the Lord of the worlds. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَتَاهَا‌ نُو‌دِي مِ‍‌‍نْ شَاطِ‍‍ئِ ‌الْوَ‌ا‌دِي ‌الأَيْمَنِ فِي ‌الْبُ‍‍قْ‍‍عَةِ ‌الْمُبَا‌‍رَكَةِ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍شَّجَ‍رَةِ ‌أَ‌نْ يَامُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَنَا‌ ‌اللَّهُ ‌‍رَبُّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa 'An 'Alqi `Aşāka ۖ Falammā Ra'āhā Tahtazzu Ka'annahā Jānnun Wallá Mudbirāan Wa Lam Yu`aqqib ۚ Yā Mūsá 'Aqbil Wa Lā Takhaf ۖ 'Innaka Mina Al-'Āminīna 028-031. And saying: Cast down you staff. So when he saw it in motion as if it were a serpent, he turned back retreating, and did not return. O Musa! come forward and fear not; surely you are of those who are secure; وَ‌أَ‌نْ ‌أَلْ‍‍قِ عَ‍‍صَ‍‍اكَ ۖ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌‍رَ‌آهَا‌ تَهْتَزُّ‌ كَأَنَّ‍‍هَا‌ ج‍‍َ‍انٌّ‌ ‌وَلَّى‌ مُ‍‍دْبِ‍‍ر‌ا‌ ً‌ ‌وَلَمْ يُعَ‍‍قِّ‍‍بْ ۚ يَامُوسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍بِلْ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍خَ‍‍فْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ ۖ مِنَ ‌الآمِنِينَ
Asluk Yadaka Fī Jaybika Takhruj Bayđā'a Min Ghayri Sū'in Wa Ađmum 'Ilayka Janāĥaka Mina Ar-Rahbi ۖ Fadhānika Burhānāni Min Rabbika 'Ilá Fir`awna Wa Mala'ihi~ ۚ 'Innahum Kānū Qawmāan Fāsiqīna 028-032. Enter your hand into the opening of your bosom, it will come forth white without evil, and draw your hand to yourself to ward off fear: so these two shall be two arguments from your Lord to Firon and his chiefs, surely they are a transgressing people. ‍اسْلُكْ يَدَكَ فِي جَيْبِكَ تَ‍‍خْ‍‍رُجْ بَيْ‍‍ضَ‍‍ا‌ءَ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ غَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‍ِ‍‌ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ء‌ٍ‌ ‌وَ‌اضْ‍‍مُمْ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ جَنَاحَكَ مِنَ ‌ال‍رَّهْبِ ۖ فَذَ‌انِكَ بُرْهَان‍‍َ‍انِ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكَ ‌إِلَى‌ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنَ ‌وَمَلَئِهِ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ كَانُو‌اقَ‍‍وْما‌‌ ً‌ فَاسِ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Qāla Rabbi 'Innī Qataltu Minhum Nafsāan Fa'akhāfu 'An Yaqtulūni 028-033. He said: My Lord! surely I killed one of them, so I fear lest they should slay me; قَ‍‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي قَ‍‍تَلْتُ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ نَفْسا‌‌ ً‌ فَأَ‍خَ‍‍افُ ‌أَ‌نْ يَ‍‍قْ‍‍تُلُونِ
Wa 'Akhī Hārūnu Huwa 'Afşaĥu Minnī Lisānāan Fa'arsilhu Ma`iya Rid'āan Yuşaddiqunī ۖ 'Innī 'Akhāfu 'An Yukadhdhibūni 028-034. And my brother, Haroun, he is more eloquent of tongue than 1, therefore send him with me as an aider, verifying me: surely I fear that they would reject me. وَ‌أَ‍خِ‍‍ي هَا‌ر‍ُ‍‌ونُ هُوَ‌ ‌أَفْ‍‍صَ‍‍حُ مِ‍‍نِّ‍‍ي لِسَانا‌‌ ً‌ فَأَ‌رْسِلْهُ مَعِيَ ‌رِ‌دْ‌ء‌ا‌ ً‌ يُ‍‍صَ‍‍دِّ‍‍قُ‍‍نِ‍‍ي ۖ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍افُ ‌أَ‌نْ يُكَذِّبُونِ
Qāla Sanashuddu `Ađudaka Bi'akhīka Wa Naj`alu Lakumā Sulţānāan Falā Yaşilūna 'Ilaykumā ۚ Bi'āyātinā 'Antumā Wa Mani Attaba`akumā Al-Ghālibūna 028-035. He said: We will strengthen your arm with your brother, and We will give you both an authority, so that they shall not reach you; (go) with Our signs; you two and those who follow you shall be uppermost. قَ‍‍الَ سَنَشُدُّ‌ عَ‍‍ضُ‍‍دَكَ بِأَ‍خِ‍‍ي‍‍كَ ‌وَنَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلُ لَكُمَا‌ سُلْ‍‍طَ‍‍انا‌‌ ً‌ فَلاَ‌ يَ‍‍صِ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِلَيْكُمَا‌ ۚ بِآيَاتِنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمَا‌ ‌وَمَنِ ‌اتَّبَعَكُمَا‌ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍الِبُونَ
Falammā Jā'ahum Mūsá Bi'āyātinā Bayyinātin Qālū Mā Hādhā 'Illā Siĥrun Muftaran Wa Mā Sami`nā Bihadhā Fī 'Ābā'inā Al-'Awwalīna 028-036. So when Musa came to them with Our clear signs, they said: This is nothing but forged enchantment, and we never heard of it amongst our fathers of old. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَهُمْ مُوسَى‌ بِآيَاتِنَا‌ بَيِّن‍‍َ‍ات‌‍ٍقَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ مَا‌ هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ سِحْر‌ٌ‌ مُفْتَر‌ى‌ ً‌ ‌وَمَا‌ سَمِعْنَا‌ بِهَذَ‌ا‌ فِ‍‍ي ‌آب‍‍َ‍ائِنَا‌ ‌الأَ‌وَّلِينَ
Wa Qāla Mūsá Rabbī 'A`lamu Biman Jā'a Bil-Hudá Min `Indihi Wa Man Takūnu Lahuqibatu Ad-Dāri ۖ 'Innahu Lā Yufliĥu Až-Žālimūna 028-037. And Musa said: My Lord knows best who comes with guidance from Him, and whose shall be the good end of the abode; surely the unjust shall not be successful. وَ‍قَ‍‍الَ مُوسَى‌ ‌‍رَبِّ‍‍ي ‌أَعْلَمُ بِمَ‍‌‍نْ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ بِ‍الْهُدَ‌ى‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِهِ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍نْ تَك‍‍ُ‍ونُ لَ‍‍هُ عَاقِ‍‍بَةُ ‌ال‍‍دّ‍َ‍‌ا‌ر‍ِ‍‌ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لاَ‌ يُفْلِحُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمُونَ
Wa Qāla Fir`awnu Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Mala'u Mā `Alimtu Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayrī Fa'awqid Lī Yā Hāmānu `Alá Aţ-Ţīni Fāj`alŞarĥāan La`allī 'Aţţali`u 'Ilá 'Ilahi Mūsá Wa 'Innī La'ažunnuhu Mina Al-Kādhibīna 028-038. And Firon said: O chiefs! I do not know of any god for you besides myself; therefore kindle a fire for me, O Haman, for brick, then prepare for me a lofty building so that I may obtain knowledge of Musa's God, and most surely I think him to be one of the liars. وَ‍قَ‍‍الَ فِ‍‍رْعَ‍‍وْنُ ي‍‍َ‍ا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الْمَلَأُ‌ مَا‌ عَلِمْتُ لَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌إِلَهٍ غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِي فَأَ‌وْ‍قِ‍‍دْ‌ لِي يَاهَام‍‍َ‍انُ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍طِّ‍‍ي‍‍نِ فَاجْ‍‍عَ‍‍ل لِي صَ‍‍رْحا‌ ً‌ لَعَلِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‍طَّ‍‍لِعُ ‌إِلَ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍هِ مُوسَى‌ ‌وَ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي لَأَ‍ظُ‍‍نُّ‍‍هُ مِنَ ‌الْكَا‌ذِبِينَ
Wa Astakbara Huwa Wa Junūduhu Fī Al-'Arđi Bighayri Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Žannū 'Annahum 'Ilaynā Lā Yurja`ūna 028-039. And he was unjustly proud in the land, he and his hosts, and they deemed that they would not be brought back to Us. وَ‌اسْتَكْبَ‍رَ‌ هُوَ‌ ‌وَجُنُو‌دُهُ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‍ِ‍‌ ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ ‌وَ‍ظَ‍‍نُّ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ ‌إِلَيْنَا‌ لاَ‌ يُرْجَعُونَ
Fa'akhadhnāhu Wa Junūdahu Fanabadhnāhum Al-Yammi ۖnžur Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Až-Žālimīna 028-040. So We caught hold of him and his hosts, then We cast them into the sea, and see how was the end of the unjust. فَأَ‍خَ‍‍ذْن‍‍َ‍اهُ ‌وَجُنُو‌دَهُ فَنَبَذْنَاهُمْ فِي ‌الْيَ‍‍مِّ ۖ فَا‌ن‍‍ظُ‍‍رْ‌ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ك‍‍َ‍انَ عَاقِ‍‍بَةُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Ja`alnāhum 'A'immatan Yad`ūna 'Ilá An-Nāri ۖ Wa Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Lā Yunşarūna 028-041. And We made them Imams who call to the fire, and on the day of resurrection they shall not be assisted. وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ ‌أَئِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ة ً‌ يَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍ا‌ر‍ِ‍‌ ۖ ‌وَيَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ لاَ‌ يُ‍‌‍ن‍‍صَ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Wa 'Atba`nāhum Fī Hadhihi Ad-Dunyā La`natan ۖ Wa Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Hum Mina Al-Maqbūĥīna 028-042. And We caused a curse to follow them in this world, and on the day of resurrection they shall be of those made to appear hideous. وَ‌أَتْبَعْنَاهُمْ فِي هَذِهِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ لَعْنَة ًۖ ‌وَيَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ هُمْ مِنَ ‌الْمَ‍‍قْ‍‍بُوحِينَ
Wa Laqad 'Ātaynā Mūsá Al-Kitāba Min Ba`di Mā 'Ahlaknā Al-Qurūna Al-'Ūlá Başā'ira Lilnnāsi Wa Hudan Wa Raĥmatan La`allahum Yatadhakkarūna 028-043. And certainly We gave Musa the Book after We had destroyed the former generations, clear arguments for men and a guidance and a mercy, that they may be mindful. وَلَ‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌آتَيْنَا‌ مُوسَى‌ ‌الْكِت‍‍َ‍ابَ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِ‌ مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَهْلَكْنَا‌ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌الأ‍ُ‍‌ولَى‌ بَ‍‍صَ‍‍ائِ‍‍ر‍َ‍‌ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َ‍اسِ ‌وَهُ‍‍د‌ى‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَة ً‌ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُ‌ونَ
Wa Mā Kunta Bijānibi Al-Gharbīyi 'Idh Qađaynā 'Ilá Mūsá Al-'Amra Wa Mā Kunta Mina Ash-Shāhidīn 028-044. And you were not on the western side when We revealed to Musa the commandment, and you were not among the witnesses; وَمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ بِجَانِبِ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍رْبِيِّ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍‍ضَ‍‍يْنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلَى‌ مُوسَى‌ ‌الأَمْ‍رَ‌ ‌وَمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍شَّاهِ‍‍د‍ِ‍ين
Wa Lakinnā 'Ansha'nā Qurūnāan Fataţāwala `Alayhimu Al-`Umuru ۚ Wa Mā Kunta Thāwīāan Fī 'Ahli Madyana Tatlū `Alayhim 'Āyātinā Wa Lakinnā Kunnā Mursilīna 028-045. But We raised up generations, then life became prolonged to them; and you were not dwelling among the people of Madyan, reciting to them Our communications, but We were the senders. وَلَكِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍شَأْنَا‌ قُ‍‍رُ‌ونا‌‌ ً‌ فَتَ‍‍طَ‍‍ا‌وَلَ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌الْعُمُرُ‌ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ ثَا‌و‍ِ‍ي‍‍ا‌‌ ً‌ فِ‍‍ي ‌أَهْلِ مَ‍‍دْيَنَ تَتْلُو‌ا‌ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌آيَاتِنَا‌ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ مُرْسِلِينَ
Wa Mā Kunta Bijānibi Aţ-Ţūri 'Idh Nādaynā Wa Lakin Raĥmatan Min Rabbika Litundhira Qawmāan Mā 'Atāhum Min Nadhīrin Min Qablika La`allahum Yatadhakkarūna 028-046. And you were not on this side of the mountain when We called, but a mercy from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no warner came before you, that they may be mindful. وَمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ بِجَانِبِ ‌ال‍‍طُّ‍‍و‌ر‍ِ‍‌ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ نَا‌دَيْنَا‌ ‌وَلَكِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَحْمَة ً‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكَ لِتُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذِ‌ر‍َ‍‌ قَ‍‍وْما‌ ً‌ مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَتَاهُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ نَذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍ر‌ٍ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُ‌ونَ
Wa Lawlā 'An Tuşībahum Muşībatun Bimā Qaddamat 'Aydīhim Fayaqūlū Rabbanā Lawlā 'Arsalta 'Ilaynā Rasūlāan Fanattabi`a 'Āyātika Wa Nakūna Mina Al-Mu'uminīna 028-047. And were it not that there should befall them a disaster for what their hands have sent before, then they should say: Our Lord! why didst Thou not send to us an apostle so that we should have followed Thy communications and been of the believers ! وَلَوْلاَ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ تُ‍‍صِ‍‍يبَهُمْ مُ‍‍صِ‍‍يبَة‌‍ٌ‌ بِمَا‌ قَ‍‍دَّمَتْ ‌أَيْدِيهِمْ فَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُو‌ا‌ ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ لَوْلاَ‌ ‌أَ‌رْسَلْتَ ‌إِلَيْنَا‌ ‌‍رَسُولا‌‌ ً‌ فَنَتَّبِعَ ‌آيَاتِكَ ‌وَنَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِنَ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Falammā Jā'ahumu Al-Ĥaqqu Min `Indinā Qālū Lawlā 'Ūtiya Mithla Mā 'Ūtiya Mūsá ۚ 'Awalam Yakfurū Bimā 'Ūtiya Mūsá Min Qablu ۖ Qālū Siĥrāni Tažāha Wa Qālū 'Innā Bikullin Kāfirūna 028-048. But (now) when the truth has come to them from Us, they say: Why is he not given the like of what was given to Musa? What! did they not disbelieve in what Musa was given before? They say: Two magicians backing up each other; and they say: Surely we are unbelievers in all. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَهُمُ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ مِ‍‌‍نْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِنَا‌ قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ لَوْلاَ‌ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتِيَ مِثْلَ مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتِيَ مُوسَ‍‍ىۚ ‌أَ‌وَلَمْ يَكْفُرُ‌و‌ا‌ بِمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتِيَ مُوسَى‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ ۖ قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ سِحْ‍رَ‍‌انِ تَ‍‍ظَ‍‍اهَ‍رَ‌ا‌ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ بِكُلّ‌‍ٍ‌ كَافِرُ‌ونَ
Qul Fa'tū Bikitābin Min `Indi Allāhi Huwa 'Ahdá Minhumā 'Attabi`hu 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna 028-049. Say: Then bring some (other) book from Allah which is a better guide than both of them, (that) I may follow it, if you are truthful. قُ‍‍لْ فَأْتُو‌ا‌ بِكِت‍‍َ‍ابٍ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ هُوَ‌ ‌أَهْدَ‌ى‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَتَّبِعْهُ ‌إِ‌نْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ صَ‍‍ا‌دِقِ‍‍ينَ
Fa'in Lam Yastajībū Laka Fā`lam 'Annamā Yattabi`ūna 'Ahwā'ahum ۚ Wa Man 'Ađallu Mimmani Attaba`a Hawāhu Bighayri Hudan Mina Allāhi ۚ 'Inna Allāha Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna 028-050. But if they do not answer you, then know that they only follow their low desires; and who is more erring than he who follows his low desires without any guidance from Allah? Surely Allah does not guide the unjust people. فَإِ‌نْ لَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُو‌ا‌ لَكَ فَاعْلَمْ ‌أَنَّ‍‍مَا‌ يَتَّبِع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَهْو‍َ‍‌ا‌ءَهُمْ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَ‍ضَ‍‍لُّ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍نِ ‌اتَّبَعَ هَو‍َ‍‌اهُ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‍ِ‍‌ هُ‍‍د‌ى‌ ً‌ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۚ ‌إِنَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يَهْدِي ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمَ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Laqad Waşşalnā Lahumu Al-Qawla La`allahum Yatadhakkarūna 028-051. And certainly We have made the word to reach them so that they may be mindful. وَلَ‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌وَ‍صَّ‍‍لْنَا‌ لَهُمُ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْلَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُ‌ونَ
Al-Ladhīna 'Ātaynāhumu Al-Kitāba Min Qablihi Hum Bihi Yu'uminūna 028-052. (As to) those whom We gave the Book before it, they are believers in it. الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آتَيْنَاهُمُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َ‍ابَ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ‍‍هِ هُمْ بِ‍‍هِ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa 'Idhā Yutlá `Alayhim Qālū 'Āmannā Bihi~ 'Innahu Al-Ĥaqqu Min Rabbinā 'Innā Kunnā Min Qablihi Muslimīna 028-053. And when it is recited to them they say: We believe in it surely it is the truth from our Lord; surely we were submitters before this. وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ يُتْلَى‌ عَلَيْهِمْ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِهِ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ‍‍هِ مُسْلِمِينَ
'Ūlā'ika Yu'utawna 'Ajrahum Marratayni Bimā Şabarū Wa Yadra'ūna Bil-Ĥasanati As-Sayyi'ata Wa Mimmā Razaqnāhum Yunfiqūna 028-054. These shall be granted their reward twice, because they are steadfast and they repel evil with good and spend out of what We have given them. أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َ‍ائِكَ يُؤْتَ‍‍وْنَ ‌أَجْ‍‍‍رَهُمْ مَ‍رَّتَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ بِمَا‌ صَ‍‍بَرُ‌و‌ا‌ ‌وَيَ‍‍دْ‌‍رَ‌ء‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِ‍الْحَسَنَةِ ‌ال‍‍سَّيِّئَةَ ‌وَمِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌‍رَ‌زَ‍قْ‍‍نَاهُمْ يُ‍‌‍ن‍‍فِ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Wa 'Idhā Sami`ū Al-Laghwa 'A`rađū `Anhu Wa Qālū Lanā 'A`mālunā Wa Lakum 'A`mālukum Salāmun `Alaykum Lā Nabtaghī Al-Jāhilīna 028-055. And when they hear idle talk they turn aside from it and say: We shall have our deeds and you shall have your deeds; peace be on you, we do not desire the ignorant. وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ سَمِعُو‌ا‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍غْ‍‍وَ‌ ‌أَعْ‍رَضُ‍‍و‌ا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍الُو‌ا‌ لَنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَعْمَالُنَا‌ ‌وَلَكُمْ ‌أَعْمَالُكُمْ سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لاَ‌ نَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَ‍‍غِ‍‍ي ‌الْجَاهِلِينَ
'Innaka Lā Tahdī Man 'Aĥbabta Wa Lakinna Allāha Yahdī Man Yashā'u ۚ Wa Huwa 'A`lamu Bil-Muhtadīna 028-056. Surely you cannot guide whom you love, but Allah guides whom He pleases, and He knows best the followers of the right way. إِنَّ‍‍كَ لاَ‌ تَهْدِي مَ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَحْبَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَهْدِي مَ‍‌‍نْ يَش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ ۚ ‌وَهُوَ‌ ‌أَعْلَمُ بِ‍الْمُهْتَدِينَ
Wa Qālū 'In Nattabi`i Al-Hudá Ma`aka Nutakhaţţaf Min 'Arđinā ۚ 'Awalam Numakkin Lahum Ĥaramāan 'Āmināan Yujbá 'Ilayhi Thamarātu Kulli Shay'in Rizqāan Min Ladunnā Wa Lakinna 'Aktharahum Lā Ya`lamūna 028-057. And they say: If we follow the guidance with you, we shall be carried off from our country. What ! have We not settled them in a safe, sacred territory to which fruits of every kind shall be drawn?-- a sustenance from Us; but most of them do not know. وَ‍قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِ‌نْ نَتَّبِعِ ‌الْهُدَ‌ى‌ مَعَكَ نُتَ‍‍خَ‍‍طَّ‍‍فْ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَ‌رْ‍ضِ‍‍نَ‍‍اۚ ‌أَ‌وَلَمْ نُمَكِّ‍‌‍نْ لَهُمْ حَ‍رَما‌‌ ً‌ ‌آمِنا‌ ً‌ يُ‍‍جْ‍‍بَ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ثَمَ‍رَ‍‌اتُ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌ٍ‌رِ‌زْ‍ق‍‍ا‌ ً‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ لَدُنَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نَّ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Kam 'Ahlaknā Min Qaryatin Baţirat Ma`īshatahā ۖ Fatilka Masākinuhum Lam Tuskan Min Ba`dihim 'Illā Qalīlāan ۖ Wa Kunnā Naĥnu Al-Wārithīna 028-058. And how many a town have We destroyed which exulted in its means of subsistence, so these are their abodes, they have not been dwelt in after them except a little, and We are the inheritors, وَكَمْ ‌أَهْلَكْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍رْيَة ٍ‌ بَ‍‍طِ‍رَتْ مَعِيشَتَهَا‌ ۖ فَتِلْكَ مَسَاكِنُهُمْ لَمْ تُسْكَ‍‌‍نْ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَعْدِهِمْ ‌إِلاَّ‌ قَ‍‍لِيلا‌ ًۖ ‌وَكُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ نَحْنُ ‌الْوَ‌ا‌رِثِينَ
Wa Mā Kāna Rabbuka Muhlika Al-Qurá Ĥattá Yab`atha Fī 'Ummihā Rasūlāan Yatlū `Alayhim 'Āyātinā ۚ Wa Mā Kunnā Muhlikī Al-Qurá 'Illā Wa 'Ahluhā Žālimūna 028-059. And your Lord never destroyed the towns until He raised in their metropolis an apostle, reciting to them Our communications, and We never destroyed the towns except when their people were unjust. وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َ‍انَ ‌‍رَبُّكَ مُهْلِكَ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍رَ‌ى‌ حَتَّى‌ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍عَثَ فِ‍‍ي ‌أُمِّ‍‍هَا‌ ‌‍رَسُولا‌ ً‌ يَتْلُو‌ا‌ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌آيَاتِنَا‌ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ مُهْلِكِي ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌وَ‌أَهْلُهَا‌ ظَ‍‍الِمُونَ
Wa Mā 'Ūtītum Min Shay'in Famatā`u Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Zīnatuhā ۚ Wa Mā `Inda Allāhi Khayrun Wa 'Abqá ۚ 'Afalā Ta`qilūna 028-060. And whatever things you have been given are only a provision of this world's life and its adornment, and whatever is with Allah is better and more lasting; do you not then understand? وَمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتِيتُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ‌ فَمَت‍‍َ‍اعُ ‌الْحَي‍‍َ‍اةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ‌وَ‌زِينَتُهَا‌ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ‌ ‌وَ‌أَبْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ىۚ ‌أَفَلاَ‌ تَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍لُونَ
'Afaman Wa`adnāhu Wa`dāan Ĥasanāan Fahuwa Lāqīhi Kaman Matta`nāhu Matā`a Al-Ĥayāati Ad-DunThumma Huwa Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Mina Al-Muĥđarīna 028-061. Is he to whom We have promised a goodly promise which he shall meet with like him whom We have provided with the provisions of this world's life, then on the day of resurrection he shall be of those who are brought up? أَفَمَ‍‌‍نْ ‌وَعَ‍‍دْن‍‍َ‍اهُ ‌وَعْد‌اً‌ حَسَنا‌‌ ً‌ فَهُوَ‌ لاَ‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍هِ كَمَ‍‌‍نْ مَتَّعْن‍‍َ‍اهُ مَت‍‍َ‍اعَ ‌الْحَي‍‍َ‍اةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ثُ‍‍مَّ هُوَ‌ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ مِنَ ‌الْمُحْ‍‍ضَ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Yawma Yunādīhim Fayaqūlu 'Ayna Shurakā'iya Al-Ladhīna Kuntum Taz`umūna 028-062. And on the day when He will call them and say: Where are those whom you deemed to be My associates? وَيَ‍‍وْمَ يُنَا‌دِيهِمْ فَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌أَيْ‍‍نَ شُ‍رَك‍‍َ‍ائ‍‍ِ‍‍يَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ
Qāla Al-Ladhīna Ĥaqqa `Alayhimu Al-Qawlu Rabbanā Hā'uulā' Al-Ladhīna 'Aghwaynā 'Aghwaynāhum Kamā Ghawaynā ۖ Tabarra'nā 'Ilayka ۖ Mā Kānū 'Īyānā Ya`budūna 028-063. Those against whom the sentence has become confirmed will say: Our Lord! these are they whom we caused to err; we caused them to err as we ourselves did err; to Thee we declare ourselves to be clear (of them); they never served Us. قَ‍‍الَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ حَ‍‍قَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْلُ ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ ه‍‍َ‍ا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَ‍‍غْ‍‍وَيْنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‍‍غْ‍‍وَيْنَاهُمْ كَمَا‌ غَ‍‍وَيْنَا‌ ۖ تَبَ‍رَّ‌أْنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ۖ مَا‌ كَانُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِيَّانَا‌ يَعْبُدُ‌ونَ
Wa Qīla AdShurakā'akum Fada`awhum Falam Yastajībū Lahum Wa Ra'aw Al-`Adhāba ۚ Law 'Annahum Kānū Yahtadūna 028-064. And it will be said: Call your associate-gods. So they will call upon them, but they will not answer them, and they shall see the punishment; would that they had followed the right way! وَ‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍لَ ‌ا‌دْعُو‌ا‌ شُ‍رَك‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَكُمْ فَدَعَوْهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُو‌ا‌ لَهُمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَ‌أَ‌وْ‌ا‌ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ۚ لَوْ‌ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَهْتَدُ‌ونَ
Wa Yawma Yunādīhim Fayaqūlu Mādhā 'Ajabtumu Al-Mursalīna 028-065. And on the day when He shall call them and say: What was the answer you gave to the apostles? وَيَ‍‍وْمَ يُنَا‌دِيهِمْ فَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ مَا‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌أَجَ‍‍بْ‍‍تُمُ ‌الْمُرْسَلِينَ
Fa`amiyat `Alayhimu Al-'Anbā'u Yawma'idhin Fahum Lā Yatasā'alūna 028-066. Then the pleas shall become obscure to them on that day, so they shall not ask each other. فَعَمِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ب‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ يَوْمَئِذ‌‌ٍ‌ فَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَتَس‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَلُونَ
Fa'ammā Man Tāba Wa 'Āmana Wa `Amila Şāliĥāan Fa`asá 'An Yakūna Mina Al-Mufliĥīna 028-067. But as to him who repents and believes and does good, maybe he will be among the successful: فَأَمَّ‍‍ا‌ مَ‍‌‍نْ ت‍‍َ‍ابَ ‌وَ‌آمَنَ ‌وَعَمِلَ صَ‍‍الِحا‌‌ ً‌ فَعَسَ‍‍ى‌ ‌أَ‌نْ يَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِنَ ‌الْمُفْلِحِينَ
Wa Rabbuka Yakhluqu Mā Yashā'u Wa Yakhtāru ۗ Mā Kāna Lahumu Al-Khiyaratu ۚ Subĥāna Allāhi Wa Ta`ālá `Ammā Yushrikūna 028-068. And your Lord creates and chooses whom He pleases; to choose is not theirs; glory be to Allah, and exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). وَ‌‍رَبُّكَ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُ‍‍قُ مَا‌ يَش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ ‌وَيَ‍‍خْ‍‍ت‍‍َ‍ا‌رُ‌ ۗ مَا‌ ك‍‍َ‍انَ لَهُمُ ‌الْ‍‍خِ‍‍يَ‍رَةُ ۚ سُ‍‍بْ‍‍ح‍‍َ‍انَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَتَعَالَى‌ عَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يُشْ‍‍رِكُونَ
Wa Rabbuka Ya`lamu Mā Tukinnu Şudūruhum Wa Mā Yu`linūna 028-069. And your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. وَ‌‍رَبُّكَ يَعْلَمُ مَا‌ تُكِ‍‍نُّ صُ‍‍دُ‌و‌رُهُمْ ‌وَمَا‌ يُعْلِنُونَ
Wa Huwa Allāhu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa ۖ Lahu Al-Ĥamdu Fī Al-'Ūlá Wa Al-'Ākhirati ۖ Wa Lahu Al-Ĥukmu Wa 'Ilayhi Turja`ūna 028-070. And He is Allah, there is no god but He! All praise is due to Him in this (life) and the hereafter, and His is the judgment, and to Him you shall be brought back. وَهُوَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لاَ‌ ‌إِلَهَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُوَ‌ ۖ لَهُ ‌الْحَمْدُ‌ فِي ‌الأ‍ُ‍‌ولَى‌ ‌وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ۖ ‌وَلَهُ ‌الْحُكْمُ ‌وَ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ تُرْجَعُونَ
Qul 'Ara'aytum 'In Ja`ala Allāhu `Alaykumu Al-Layla Sarmadāan 'Ilá Yawmi Al-Qiyāmati Man 'Ilahun Ghayru Allāhi Ya'tīkum Biđiyā'in ۖ 'Afalā Tasma`ūna 028-071. Say: Tell me, if Allah were to make the night to continue incessantly on you till the day of resurrection, who is the god besides Allah that could bring you light? Do you not then hear? قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَ‌‍رَ‌أَيْتُمْ ‌إِ‌نْ جَعَلَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ عَلَيْكُمُ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ سَرْمَد‌ا‌‌ ً‌ ‌إِلَى‌ يَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ مَ‍‌‍نْ ‌إِلَهٌ غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِ‍‍ضِ‍‍ي‍‍َ‍ا‌ءٍ‌ ۖ ‌أَفَلاَ‌ تَسْمَعُونَ
Qul 'Ara'aytum 'In Ja`ala Allāhu `Alaykumu An-Nahāra Sarmadāan 'Ilá Yawmi Al-Qiyāmati Man 'Ilahun Ghayru Allāhi Ya'tīkum Bilaylin Taskunūna Fīhi ۖ 'Afalā Tubşirūna 028-072. Say: Tell me, if Allah were to make the day to continue incessantly on you till the day of resurrection, who is the god besides Allah that could bring you the night in which you take rest? Do you not then see? قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَ‌‍رَ‌أَيْتُمْ ‌إِ‌نْ جَعَلَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ عَلَيْكُمُ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َ‍ا‌‍رَ‌ سَرْمَد‌ا‌‌ ً‌ ‌إِلَى‌ يَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ مَ‍‌‍نْ ‌إِلَهٌ غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍ل‌‍ٍ‌ تَسْكُن‍‍ُ‍ونَ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ۖ ‌أَفَلاَ‌ تُ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Wa Min Raĥmatihi Ja`ala Lakumu Al-Layla Wa An-Nahāra Litaskunū Fīhi Wa Litabtaghū Min Fađlihi Wa La`allakum Tashkurūna 028-073. And out of His mercy He has made for you the night and the day, that you may rest therein, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may give thanks. وَمِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَحْمَتِ‍‍هِ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َ‍ا‌‍رَ‌ لِتَسْكُنُو‌ا‌ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌وَلِتَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَ‍‍غُ‍‍و‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِ‍‍هِ ‌وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُ‌ونَ
Wa Yawma Yunādīhim Fayaqūlu 'Ayna Shurakā'iya Al-Ladhīna Kuntum Taz`umūna 028-074. And on the day when He shall call them and say: Where are those whom you deemed to be My associates? وَيَ‍‍وْمَ يُنَا‌دِيهِمْ فَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌أَيْ‍‍نَ شُ‍رَك‍‍َ‍ائ‍‍ِ‍‍يَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ
Wa Naza`nā Min Kulli 'Ummatin Shahīdāan Faqulnā Hātū Burhānakum Fa`alimū 'Anna Al-Ĥaqqa Lillāh Wa Đalla `Anhum Mā Kānū Yaftarūna 028-075. And We will draw forth from among every nation a witness and say: Bring your proof; then shall they know that the truth is Allah's, and that which they forged shall depart from them. وَنَزَعْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ كُلِّ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ة‌‍ٍ‌ شَهِيد‌ا‌‌ ً‌ فَ‍‍قُ‍‍لْنَا‌ هَاتُو‌ا‌ بُرْهَانَكُمْ فَعَلِمُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌أَنَّ ‌الْحَ‍‍قَّ لِلَّهِ ‌وَ‍ضَ‍‍لَّ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَفْتَرُ‌ونَ
'Inna Qārūna Kāna Min Qawmi Mūsá Fabaghá `Alayhim ۖ Wa 'Ātaynāhu Mina Al-Kunūzi Mā 'Inna Mafātiĥahu Latanū'u Bil-`Uşbati 'Ūlī Al-Qūwati 'Idh Qāla Lahu Qawmuhu Lā Tafraĥ ۖ 'Inna Allāha Lā Yuĥibbu Al-Farīna 028-076. Surely Qaroun was of the people of Musa, but he rebelled against them, and We had given him of the treasures, so much so that his hoards of wealth would certainly weigh down a company of men possessed of great strength. When his people said to him: Do not exult, surely Allah does not love the exultant; إِنَّ قَ‍‍ا‌ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ك‍‍َ‍انَ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍وْمِ مُوسَى‌ فَبَ‍‍غَ‍‍ى‌ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌آتَيْن‍‍َ‍اهُ مِنَ ‌الْكُن‍‍ُ‍و‌زِ‌ مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَ‍‍هُ لَتَن‍‍ُ‍و‌ءُ‌ بِ‍الْعُ‍‍صْ‍‍بَةِ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌ولِي ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍وَّةِ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍‍الَ لَ‍‍هُ قَ‍‍وْمُ‍‍هُ لاَ‌ تَفْ‍رَحْ ۖ ‌إِنَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يُحِبُّ ‌الْفَ‍‍رِحِينَ
Wa Abtaghi Fīmā 'Ātāka Allāhu Ad-Dāra Al-'Ākhirata ۖ Wa Lā Tansa Naşībaka Mina Ad-Dunۖ Wa 'Aĥsin Kamā 'Aĥsana Allāhu 'Ilayka ۖ Wa Lā Tabghi Al-Fasāda Fī Al-'Arđi ۖ 'Inna Allāha Lā Yuĥibbu Al-Mufsidīna 028-077. And seek by means of what Allah has given you the future abode, and do not neglect your portion of this world, and do good (to others) as Allah has done good to you, and do not seek to make mischief in the land, surely Allah does not love the mischief-makers. وَ‌ابْ‍‍تَ‍‍غِ فِيمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌آت‍‍َ‍اكَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌ال‍‍دّ‍َ‍‌ا‌‍رَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةَ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‌‍ن‍‍سَ نَ‍‍صِ‍‍يبَكَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَحْسِ‍‌‍نْ كَمَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَحْسَنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍غِ ‌الْفَس‍‍َ‍ا‌دَ‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ۖ ‌إِنَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يُحِبُّ ‌الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Qāla 'Innamā 'Ūtītuhu `Alá `Ilmin `Indī ۚ 'Awalam Ya`lam 'Anna Allāha Qad 'Ahlaka Min Qablihi Mina Al-Qurūni Man Huwa 'Ashaddu Minhu Qūwatan Wa 'Aktharu Jam`āan ۚ Wa Lā Yus'alu `An Dhunūbihimu Al-Mujrimūna 028-078. He said: I have been given this only on account of the knowledge I have. Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of the generations those who were mightier in strength than he and greater in assemblage? And the guilty shall not be asked about their faults. قَ‍‍الَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتِيتُ‍‍هُ عَلَى‌ عِلْمٍ عِ‍‌‍ن‍‍دِي ۚ ‌أَ‌وَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ ‌أَنَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌أَهْلَكَ مِ‍‌‍نْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ‍‍هِ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍قُ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ونِ مَ‍‌‍نْ هُوَ‌ ‌أَشَدُّ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ قُ‍‍وَّة ً‌ ‌وَ‌أَكْثَرُ‌ جَمْعا‌ ًۚ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُسْأَلُ عَ‍‌‍نْ ‌ذُنُوبِهِمُ ‌الْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِمُونَ
Fakharaja `Alá Qawmihi Fī Zīnatihi ۖ Qāla Al-Ladhīna Yurīdūna Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā Yālayta Lanā Mithla Mā 'Ūtiya Qārūnu 'Innahu Ladhū Ĥažžin `Ažīmin 028-079. So he went forth to his people in his finery. Those who desire this world's life said: O would that we had the like of what Qaroun is given; most surely he is possessed of mighty good fortune. فَ‍خَ‍رَجَ عَلَى‌ قَ‍‍وْمِ‍‍هِ فِي ‌زِينَتِ‍‍هِ ۖ قَ‍‍الَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُ‍‍رِيد‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌الْحَي‍‍َ‍اةَ ‌ال‍‍دُّن‍‍يَا‌ يَالَ‍‍يْ‍‍تَ لَنَا‌ مِثْلَ مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتِيَ قَ‍‍ا‌ر‍ُ‍‌ونُ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَذُ‌و‌ حَ‍‍ظٍّ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٍ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-`Ilma Waylakum Thawābu Allāhi Khayrun Liman 'Āmana Wa `Amila Şāliĥāan Wa Lā Yulaqqāhā 'Illā Aş-Şābirūna 028-080. And those who were given the knowledge said: Woe to you! Allah's reward is better for him who believes and does good, and none is made to receive this except the patient. وَ‍قَ‍‍الَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وتُو‌ا‌الْعِلْمَ ‌وَيْلَكُمْ ثَو‍َ‍‌ابُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ‌ لِمَ‍‌‍نْ ‌آمَنَ ‌وَعَمِلَ صَ‍‍الِحا‌ ً‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُلَ‍‍قَّ‍‍اهَ‍‍ا‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ابِرُ‌ونَ
Fakhasafnā Bihi Wa Bidārihi Al-'Arđa Famā Kāna Lahu Min Fi'atin Yanşurūnahu Min Dūni Allāhi Wa Mā Kāna Mina Al-Muntaşirīna 028-081. Thus We made the earth to swallow up him and his abode; so he had no body of helpers to assist him against Allah nor was he of those who can defend themselves. فَ‍خَ‍‍سَفْنَا‌ بِ‍‍هِ ‌وَبِدَ‌ا‌رِهِ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضَ فَمَا‌ ك‍‍َ‍انَ لَ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍نْ فِئَةٍ‌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍صُ‍‍رُ‌ونَ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َ‍انَ مِنَ ‌المُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَ‍‍صِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa 'Aşbaĥa Al-Ladhīna Tamannaw Makānahu Bil-'Amsi Yaqūlūna Wayka'anna Allāha Yabsuţu Ar-Rizqa Liman Yashā'u Min `Ibādihi Wa Yaqdiru ۖ Lawlā 'An Manna Allāhu `Alaynā Lakhasafa Binā ۖ Wayka'annahu Lā Yufliĥu Al-Kāfirūna 028-082. And those who yearned for his place only the day before began to say: Ah! (know) that Allah amplifies and straitens the means of subsistence for whom He pleases of His servants; had not Allah been gracious to us, He would most surely have abased us; ah! (know) that the ungrateful are never successful. وَ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍بَحَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍وْ‌ا‌ مَكَانَ‍‍هُ بِ‍الأَمْسِ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَيْكَأَنَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍سُ‍‍طُ ‌ال‍‍رِّ‌زْ‍قَ لِمَ‍‌‍نْ يَش‍‍َ‍ا‌ءُ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ عِبَا‌دِهِ ‌وَيَ‍‍قْ‍‍دِ‌ر‍ُ‍‌ ۖ لَوْلاَ‌ ‌أَ‌نْ مَ‍‍نَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ عَلَيْنَا‌ لَ‍‍خَ‍‍سَفَ بِنَا‌ ۖ ‌وَيْكَأَنَّ‍‍هُ لاَ‌ يُفْلِحُ ‌الْكَافِرُ‌ونَ
Tilka Ad-Dāru Al-'Ākhiratu Naj`aluhā Lilladhīna Lā Yurīdūna `Ulūwāan Al-'Arđi Wa Lā Fasādāan ۚ Wa Al-`Āqibatu Lilmuttaqīna 028-083. (As for) that future abode, We assign it to those who have no desire to exalt themselves in the earth nor to make mischief and the good end is for those who guard (against evil) تِلْكَ ‌ال‍‍دّ‍َ‍‌ا‌رُ‌ ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةُ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلُهَا‌ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍رِيد‍ُ‍‌ونَ عُلُوّ‌ا‌‌ ً‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَلاَ‌ فَسَا‌د‌ا‌ ًۚ ‌وَ‌الْعَاقِ‍‍بَةُ لِلْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Man Jā'a Bil-Ĥasanati Falahu Khayrun Minhā ۖ Wa Man Jā'a Bis-Sayyi'ati Falā Yuj Al-Ladhīna `Amilū As-Sayyi'āti 'Illā Mā Kānū Ya`malūna 028-084. Whoever brings good, he shall have better than it, and whoever brings evil, those who do evil shall not be rewarded (for) aught except what they did. مَ‍‌‍نْ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ بِ‍الْحَسَنَةِ فَلَ‍‍هُ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ۖ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍نْ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ بِ‍ال‍‍سَّيِّئَةِ فَلاَ‌ يُ‍‍جْ‍‍زَ‌ى‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عَمِلُو‌ا‌ال‍‍سَّيِّئ‍‍َ‍اتِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَا‌ كَانُو‌ا‌ يَعْمَلُونَ
'Inna Al-Ladhī Farađa `Alayka Al-Qur'āna Larādduka 'Ilá Ma`ādin ۚ Qul Rabbī 'A`lamu Man Jā'a Bil-Hudá Wa Man Huwa Fī Đalālin Mubīnin 028-085. Most surely He Who has made the Quran binding on you will bring you back to the destination. Say: My Lord knows best him who has brought the guidance and him who is in manifest error. إِنَّ ‌الَّذِي فَ‍رَضَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍رْ‌آنَ لَر‍َ‍‌ا‌دُّكَ ‌إِلَى‌ مَع‍‍َ‍ا‌د‌‌ٍۚ قُ‍‍لْ ‌‍رَبِّ‍‍ي ‌أَعْلَمُ مَ‍‌‍نْ ج‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ بِ‍الْهُدَ‌ى‌ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍نْ هُوَ‌ فِي ضَ‍‍لاَلٍ‌ مُبِينٍ
Wa Mā Kunta Tarjū 'An Yulqá 'Ilayka Al-Kitābu 'Illā Raĥmatan Min Rabbika ۖ Falā Takūnanna Žahīrāan Lilkāfirīna 028-086. And you did not expect that the Book would be inspired to you, but it is a mercy from your Lord, therefore be not a backer-up of the unbelievers. وَمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ تَرْجُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ يُلْ‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َ‍ابُ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌‍رَحْمَة ً‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَبِّكَ ۖ فَلاَ‌ تَكُونَ‍‍نَّ ظَ‍‍هِي‍‍ر‌ا‌ ً‌ لِلْكَافِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Lā Yaşuddunnaka `An 'Āyāti Allāhi Ba`da 'Idh 'Unzilat 'Ilayka ۖ Wa Ad`u 'Ilá Rabbika ۖ Wa Lā Takūnanna Mina Al-Mushrikīna 028-087. And let them not turn you aside from the communications of Allah after they have been revealed to you, and call (men) to your Lord and be not of the polytheists. وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‍صُ‍‍دُّنَّ‍‍كَ عَ‍‌‍نْ ‌آي‍‍َ‍اتِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ بَعْدَ‌ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ ‌أُ‌ن‍‍زِلَتْ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ۖ ‌وَ‌ا‌دْعُ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌‍رَبِّكَ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَكُونَ‍‍نَّ مِنَ ‌الْمُشْ‍‍رِكِينَ
Wa Lā Tad`u Ma`a Allāhi 'Ilahāan 'Ākhara ۘ Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa ۚ Kullu Shay'in Hālikun 'Illā Wajhahu Lahu ۚ Al-Ĥukmu Wa 'Ilayhi Turja`ūna 028-088. And call not with Allah any other god; there is no god but He, every thing is perishable but He; His is the judgment, and to Him you shall be brought back. وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍دْعُ مَعَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌إِلَها‌‌ ً‌ ‌آ‍‍خَ‍رَۘ لاَ‌ ‌إِلَهَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُوَ‌ ۚ كُلُّ شَ‍‍يْءٍ‌ هَالِك‌‍ٌ‌ ‌إِلاَّ‌ ‌وَجْ‍‍هَ‍‍هُ ۚ لَهُ ‌الْحُكْمُ ‌وَ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ تُرْجَعُونَ
