ratun 'Anzalnāhā Wa Farađnāhā Wa 'Anzalnā Fīhā 'Āyātin Bayyinātin La`allakum Tadhakkarūna (An-Nūr: 1). 024.001 (Here is) a surah which We have revealed and enjoined, and wherein We have revealed plain tokens, that haply ye may take heed. سُو‌‍‍‍رَةٌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَاهَا وَفَ‍رَضْ‍‍نَاهَا وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَا‌ فِيهَ‍‍ا آي‍‍َاتٍ بَيِّن‍‍َاتٍ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُ‌ونَ
Az-Zāniyatu Wa Az-Zānī Fājlidū Kulla Wāĥidin Minhumā Miā'ata ۖ Jaldatin Wa Lā Ta'khudhkum Bihimā Ra'fatun Fī Dīni Allāhi 'In Kuntum Tu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Al-Yawmi ۖ Al-'Ākhiri Wa Lyash/had `Adhābahumā Ţā'ifatun Mina Al-Mu'uminīna (An-Nūr: 2). 024.002 The adulterer and the adulteress, scourge ye each one of them (with) a hundred stripes. And let not pity for the twain withhold you from obedience to Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day. And let a party of believers witness their punishment. ال‍‍زَّ‌انِيَةُ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍زَّ‌انِي فَاجْ‍‍لِدُ‌وا كُلَّ ‌وَ‌احِد‌ٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمَا‌ مِائَةَ جَلْدَةٍ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَأْ‍‍خُ‍‍ذْكُمْ بِهِمَا ‍رَ‌أْفَةٌ فِي ‌د‍ِ‍ي‍‍نِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ تُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌الْيَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍‍رِ‌ ۖ ‌وَلْيَشْهَ‍‍دْ‌ عَذَ‌ابَهُمَا‌ طَ‍‍ائِفَةٌ مِنَ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Az-Zānī Lā Yankiĥu 'Illā Zāniyatan 'Aw Mushrikatan Wa Az-Zāniyatu Lā Yankiĥuhā 'Illā Zānin 'Aw Mushrikun ۚ Wa Ĥurrima Dhālika `Alá Al-Mu'uminīna (An-Nūr: 3). 024.003 The adulterer shall not marry save an adulteress or an idolatress, and the adulteress none shall marry save an adulterer or an idolater. All that is forbidden unto believers. ال‍‍زَّ‌انِي لاَ‌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍كِحُ ‌إلاَّ زَ‌انِيَةً ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مُشْ‍‍رِكَةً ‌وَ‌ال‍‍زَّ‌انِيَةُ لاَ‌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍كِحُهَ‍‍ا إِلاَّ ز‍َ‍‌انٍ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مُشْ‍‍رِكٌ ۚ ‌وَحُرِّمَ ‌ذَلِكَ عَلَى‌ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yarmūna Al-Muĥşanāti Thumma Lam Ya'tū Bi'arba`ati Shuhadā'a Fājlidūhum Thamānīna Jaldatan Wa Lā Taqbalū Lahum Shahādatan 'Abadāan ۚ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Fāsiqūna (An-Nūr: 4). 024.004 And those who accuse honourable women but bring not four witnesses, scourge them (with) eighty stripes and never (afterward) accept their testimony - They indeed are evil-doers - وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَرْم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْمُحْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ن‍‍َاتِ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِأَ‌رْبَعَةِ شُهَد‍َ‌اءَ‌ فَاجْ‍‍لِدُ‌وهُمْ ثَمَان‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ جَلْدَةً ‌وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍بَلُوا لَهُمْ شَهَا‌دَةً ‌أَبَد‌اً ۚ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْفَاسِ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
'Illā Al-Ladhīna Tābū Min Ba`di Dhālika Wa 'Aşlaĥū Fa'inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun (An-Nūr: 5). 024.005 Save those who afterward repent and make amends. (For such) lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. إِلاَّ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَابُوا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ ‌وَ‌أَ‍‍صْ‍‍لَحُوا فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ ‌‍رَحِيمٌ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yarmūna 'Azwājahum Wa Lam Yakun Lahum Shuhadā'u 'Illā 'Anfusuhum Fashahādatu 'Aĥadihim 'Arba`u Shahādātin Billāhi ۙ 'Innahu Lamina Aş-Şādiqīna (An-Nūr: 6). 024.006 As for those who accuse their wives but have no witnesses except themselves; let the testimony of one of them be four testimonies, (swearing) by Allah that he is of those who speak the truth; وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَرْم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَ‌زْ‌وَ‌اجَهُمْ ‌وَلَمْ يَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَهُمْ شُهَد‍َ‌اءُ إِلاَّ أَ‌ن‍‍فُسُهُمْ فَشَهَا‌دَةُ ‌أَحَدِهِمْ ‌أَ‌رْبَعُ شَهَا‌د‍َ‍‌اتٍ بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ ۙ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِ‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Wa Al-Khāmisatu 'Anna La`nata Allāhi `Alayhi 'In Kāna Mina Al-Kādhibīna (An-Nūr: 7). 024.007 And yet a fifth, invoking the curse of Allah on him if he is of those who lie. وَ‌الْ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍امِسَةُ ‌أَنّ‌َ لَعْنَةَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ مِنَ ‌الْكَا‌ذِبِينَ
Wa Yadra'u `Anhā Al-`Adhāba 'An Tash/hada 'Arba`a Shahādātin Billāhi ۙ 'Innahu Lamina Al-Kādhibīna (An-Nūr: 8). 024.008 And it shall avert the punishment from her if she bear witness before Allah four times that the thing he saith is indeed false, وَيَ‍‍دْ‌‍‍‍رَ‌أُ‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَشْهَدَ أَ‌رْبَعَ شَهَا‌د‍َ‍‌اتٍ بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ ۙ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَمِنَ ‌الْكَا‌ذِبِينَ
Wa Al-Khāmisata 'Anna Ghađaba Allāhi `Alayhā 'In Kāna Mina Aş-Şādiqīna (An-Nūr: 9). 024.009 And a fifth (time) that the wrath of Allah be upon her if he speaketh truth. وَ‌الْ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍امِسَةَ ‌أَنّ‌َ غَ‍‍ضَ‍‍بَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْهَ‍‍ا إِ‌ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِ‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Wa Lawlā Fađlu Allāhi `Alaykum Wa Raĥmatuhu Wa 'Anna Allāha Tawwābun Ĥakīmun (An-Nūr: 10). 024.010 And had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you, and that Allah is Clement, Wise, (ye had been undone). وَلَوْلاَ‌ فَ‍‍‍‍ضْ‍‍لُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَتُهُ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ تَوّ‍َ‍‌ابٌ حَكِيمٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Jā'ū Bil-'Ifki `Uşbatun Minkum ۚ Lā Taĥsabūhu Sharan Lakum ۖ Bal Huwa Khayrun Lakum ۚ Likulli Amri'in MinhumAktasaba Mina Al-'Ithmi ۚ Wa Al-Ladhī Tawallá Kibrahu Minhum Lahu `Adhābun `Ažīmun (An-Nūr: 11). 024.011 Lo! they who spread the slander are a gang among you. Deem it not a bad thing for you; nay, it is good for you. Unto every man of them (will be paid) that which he hath earned of the sin; and as for him among them who had the greater share therein, his will be an awful doom. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ج‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍‌و‌ا‌ بِ‍الإِفْكِ عُ‍‍‍‍صْ‍‍بَةٌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ۚ لاَ‌ تَحْسَب‍‍ُ‍وهُ شَرّ‌اً لَكُمْ ۖ بَلْ هُوَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ لَكُمْ ۚ لِكُلِّ ‌امْ‍‍رِئٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَا‌ ‌اكْتَسَبَ مِنَ ‌الإِثْمِ ۚ ‌وَ‌الَّذِي تَوَلَّى‌ كِ‍‍بْ‍‍‍رَهُ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ لَهُ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
Lawlā 'Idh Sami`tumūhu Žanna Al-Mu'uminūna Wa Al-Mu'uminātu Bi'anfusihim Khayan Wa Qālū Hādhā 'Ifkun Mubīnun (An-Nūr: 12). 024.012 Why did not the believers, men and women, when ye heard it, think good of their own own folk, and say: It is a manifest untruth ? لَوْلاَ إِ‌ذْ‌ سَمِعْتُم‍‍ُ‍وهُ ظَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍َاتُ بِأَ‌ن‍‍فُسِهِمْ خَ‍‍يْر‌اً ‌وَقَ‍‍الُوا هَذَ‌ا إِفْكٌ مُبِينٌ
Lawlā Jā'ū `Alayhi Bi'arba`ati Shuhadā'a ۚ Fa'idh Lam Ya'tū Bish-Shuhadā'i Fa'ūlā'ika `Inda Allāhi Humu Al-Kādhibūna (An-Nūr: 13). 024.013 Why did they not produce four witnesses ? Since they produce not witnesses, they verily are liars in the sight of Allah. لَوْلاَ‌ ج‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍‌و‌ا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ بِأَ‌رْبَعَةِ شُهَد‍َ‌اءَ ۚ فَإِ‌ذْ‌ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِ‍ال‍‍شُّهَد‍َ‌اءِ‌ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ هُمُ ‌الْكَا‌ذِبُونَ
Wa Lawlā Fađlu Allāhi `Alaykum Wa Raĥmatuhu Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Lamassakum Fī Mā 'Afađtum Fīhi `Adhābun `Ažīmun (An-Nūr: 14). 024.014 Had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you in the world and the Hereafter an awful doom had overtaken you for that whereof ye murmured. وَلَوْلاَ‌ فَ‍‍‍‍ضْ‍‍لُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَتُهُ فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِي مَ‍‍ا أَفَ‍‍ضْ‍‍تُمْ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
'Idh Talaqqawnahu Bi'alsinatikum Wa Taqūlūna Bi'afwāhikum Mā Laysa Lakum Bihi `Ilmun Wa Taĥsabūnahu Hayyināan Wa Huwa `Inda Allāhi `Ažīmun (An-Nūr: 15). 024.015 When ye welcomed it with your tongues, and uttered with your mouths that whereof ye had no knowledge, ye counted it a trifle. In the sight of Allah it is very great. إِ‌ذْ‌ تَلَ‍‍‍‍قَّ‍‍وْنَهُ بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ ‌وَتَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِأَفْوَ‌اهِكُمْ مَا‌ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ‌وَتَحْسَبُونَهُ هَيِّناً ‌وَهُوَ‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
Wa Lawlā 'Idh Sami`tumūhu Qultum Mā Yakūnu Lanā 'An Natakallama Bihadhā Subĥānaka Hādhā Buhtānun `Ažīmun (An-Nūr: 16). 024.016 Wherefor, when ye heard it, said ye not: It is not for us to speak of this. Glory be to Thee (O Allah)! This is awful calumny. وَلَوْلاَ إِ‌ذْ‌ سَمِعْتُم‍‍ُ‍وهُ قُ‍‍لْتُمْ مَا‌ يَك‍‍ُ‍ونُ لَنَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَذَ‌ا‌ سُ‍‍بْ‍‍حَانَكَ هَذَ‌ا‌ بُهْت‍‍َانٌ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
Ya`ižukumu Allāhu 'An Ta`ūdū Limithlihi 'Abadāan 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna (An-Nūr: 17). 024.017 Allah admonisheth you that ye repeat not the like thereof ever, if ye are (in truth) believers. يَعِ‍‍ظُ‍‍كُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَعُو‌دُ‌وا لِمِثْلِهِ ‌أَبَد‌اً ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa Yubayyinu Allāhu Lakumu Al-'Āyāti ۚ Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥakīmun (An-Nūr: 18). 024.018 And He expoundeth unto you the revelations. Allah is Knower, Wise. وَيُبَيِّنُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمُ ‌الآي‍‍َاتِ ۚ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ حَكِيمٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yuĥibbūna 'An Tashī`a Al-Fāĥishatu Fī Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati ۚ Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu Wa 'Antum Lā Ta`lamūna (An-Nūr: 19). 024.019 Lo! those who love that slander should be spread concerning those who believe, theirs will be a painful punishment in the world and the Hereafter. Allah knoweth. Ye know not. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُحِبّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَش‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عَ ‌الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا لَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ ‌أَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ۚ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ لاَ‌ تَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Lawlā Fađlu Allāhi `Alaykum Wa Raĥmatuhu Wa 'Anna Allāha Ra'ūfun Raĥīm (An-Nūr: 20). 024.020 Had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you, and that Allah is Clement, Merciful, (ye had been undone). وَلَوْلاَ‌ فَ‍‍‍‍ضْ‍‍لُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَتُهُ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌‍رَ‌ء‍ُ‍‌وف ٌ ‌‍رَحِيم
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tattabi`ū Khuţuwāti Ash-Shayţāni ۚ Wa Man Yattabi` Khuţuwāti Ash-Shayţāni Fa'innahu Ya'muru Bil-Faĥshā'i Wa Al-Munkari ۚ Wa Lawlā Fađlu Allāhi `Alaykum Wa Raĥmatuhu Mā Zakā Minkum Min 'Aĥadin 'Abadāan Wa Lakinna Allāha Yuzakkī Man ۗ Yashā'u Wa Allāhu Samī`un `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 21). 024.021 O ye who believe! Follow not the footsteps of the devil. Unto whomsoever followeth the footsteps of the devil, lo! he commandeth filthiness and wrong. Had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you, not one of you would ever have grown pure. But Allah causeth whom He will to grow. And Allah is Hearer, Knower. ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا لاَ‌ تَتَّبِعُوا خُ‍‍طُ‍‍و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انِ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَتَّبِعْ خُ‍‍طُ‍‍و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انِ فَإِنَّ‍‍هُ يَأْمُرُ‌ بِ‍الْفَحْش‍‍َا‌ءِ وَ‌الْمُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كَ‍‍رِ ۚ ‌وَلَوْلاَ‌ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَتُهُ مَا زَكَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَحَدٍ أَبَد‌اً ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُزَكِّي مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ سَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عٌ عَلِيمٌ
Wa Lā Ya'tali 'Ūlū Al-Fađli Minkum Wa As-Sa`ati 'An Yu'utū 'Ūlī Al-Qurbá Wa Al-Masākīna Wa Al-Muhājirīna Fī Sabīli Allāhi ۖ Wa Lya`fū Wa Lyaşfaĥū ۗ 'Alā Tuĥibbūna 'An Yaghfira Allāhu Lakum ۗ Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun (An-Nūr: 22). 024.022 And let not those who possess dignity and ease among you swear not to give to the near of kin and to the needy, and to fugitives for the cause of Allah. Let them forgive and show indulgence. Yearn ye not that Allah may forgive you ? Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. وَلاَ‌ يَأْتَلِ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلُوا ‌الْفَ‍‍‍‍ضْ‍‍لِ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍سَّعَةِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُؤْتُ‍‍وا ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلِي ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍رْبَى وَ‌الْمَسَاك‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌الْمُهَاجِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِي سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۖ ‌وَلْيَعْفُوا ‌وَلْيَ‍‍صْ‍‍فَحُ‍‍وا ۗ ‌أَلاَ‌ تُحِبّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ ‌‍رَحِيمٌ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yarmūna Al-Muĥşanāti Al-Ghāfilāti Al-Mu'umināti Lu`inū Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun (An-Nūr: 23). 024.023 Lo! as for those who traduce virtuous, believing women (who are) careless, cursed are they in the world and the Hereafter. Theirs will be an awful doom إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَرْم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْمُحْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ن‍‍َاتِ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍افِلاَتِ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍َاتِ لُعِنُوا فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ‌وَلَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
Yawma Tash/hadu `Alayhim 'Alsinatuhum Wa 'Ayd99him Wa 'Arjuluhum Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna (An-Nūr: 24). 024.024 On the day when their tongues and their hands and their feet testify against them as to what they used to do, يَ‍‍وْمَ تَشْهَدُ‌ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ ‌وَ‌أَيْدِيهِمْ ‌وَ‌أَ‌رْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا‌ كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Yawma'idhin Yuwaffīhimu Allāhu Dīnahumu Al-Ĥaqqa Wa Ya`lamūna 'Anna Allāha Huwa Al-Ĥaqqu Al-Mubīnu (An-Nūr: 25). 024.025 On that day Allah will pay them their just due, and they will know that Allah, He is the Manifest Truth. يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ يُوَفِّيهِمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌دِينَهُمُ ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قَّ ‌وَيَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ هُوَ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ ‌الْمُبِينُ
Al-Khabīthātu Lilkhabīthīna Wa Al-Khabīthūna Lilkhabīthāti ۖ Wa Aţ-Ţayyibātu Lilţţayyibīna Wa Aţ-Ţayyibūna Lilţţayyibāti ۚ 'Ūlā'ika Mubarra'ūna Mimmā Yaqūlūna ۖ Lahum Maghfiratun Wa Rizqun Karīmun (An-Nūr: 26). 024.026 Vile women are for vile men, and vile men for vile women. Good women are for good men, and good men for good women; such are innocent of that which people say: For them is pardon and a bountiful provision. الْ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍بِيث‍‍َاتُ لِلْ‍‍خَ‍‍بِيث‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍بِيث‍‍ُ‍ونَ لِلْ‍‍خَ‍‍بِيث‍‍َاتِ ۖ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّب‍‍َاتُ لِل‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّب‍‍ُ‍ونَ لِل‍‍طَّ‍‍يِّب‍‍َاتِ ۚ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ مُبَ‍رَّ‌ء‍ُ‍‌ونَ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ ۖ لَهُمْ مَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍رَةٌ ‌وَ‌رِ‌زْق‌‍ٌ‌ كَ‍‍رِيمٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tadkhulū Buyūtāan Ghayra Buyūtikum Ĥattá Tasta'nisū Wa Tusallimū `Alá 'Ahlihā ۚ Dhalikum Khayrun Lakum La`allakum Tadhakkarūna (An-Nūr: 27). 024.027 O ye who believe! Enter not houses other than your own without first announcing your presence and invoking peace upon the folk thereof. That is better for you, that ye may be heedful. ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا لاَ‌ تَ‍‍دْ‍‍‍‍خُ‍‍لُوا بُيُوتاً‌ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌ بُيُوتِكُمْ حَتَّى‌ تَسْتَأْنِسُوا ‌وَتُسَلِّمُوا عَلَ‍‍ى أَهْلِهَا‌ ۚ ‌ذَلِكُمْ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُ‌ونَ
Fa'in Lam Tajidū Fīhā 'Aĥadāan Falā Tadkhulūhā Ĥattá Yu'udhana Lakum ۖ Wa 'In Qīla Lakum Arji`ū Fārji`ū ۖ Huwa 'Azká Lakum ۚ Wa Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 28). 024.028 And if ye find no-one therein, still enter not until permission hath been given. And if it be said unto you: Go away again, then go away, for it is purer for you. Allah knoweth what ye do. فَإِ‌ن‌ْ لَمْ تَجِدُ‌وا فِيهَ‍‍ا أَحَد‌اً فَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍دْ‍‍‍‍خُ‍‍لُوهَا‌ حَتَّى‌ يُؤْ‌ذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ قِ‍‍ي‍‍لَ لَكُمْ ‌ا‌رْجِعُوا فَا‌رْجِعُوا ۖ هُوَ أَ‌زْكَى‌ لَكُمْ ۚ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ بِمَا‌ تَعْمَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلِيمٌ
Laysa `Alaykum Junāĥun 'An Tadkhulū Buyūtāan Ghayra Maskūnatin Fīhā Matā`un Lakum ۚ Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu Mā Tubdūna Wa Mā Taktumūna (An-Nūr: 29). 024.029 (It is) no sin for you to enter uninhabited houses wherein is comfort for you. Allah knoweth what ye proclaim and what ye hide. لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُن‍‍َاحٌ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَ‍‍دْ‍‍‍‍خُ‍‍لُوا بُيُوتاً‌ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌ مَسْكُونَةٍ فِيهَا‌ مَت‍‍َاع ٌ لَكُمْ ۚ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا‌ تُ‍‍بْ‍‍د‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌وَمَا‌ تَكْتُمُونَ
Qul Lilmu'uminīna Yaghuđđū Min 'Abşārihim Wa Yaĥfažū Furūjahum ۚ Dhālika 'Azká Lahum ۗ 'Inna Allāha Khabīrun Bimā Yaşna`ūna (An-Nūr: 30). 024.030 Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and be modest. That is purer for them. Lo! Allah is aware of what they do. قُ‍‍لْ لِلْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍غُ‍‍ضُّ‍‍وا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَبْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رِهِمْ ‌وَيَحْفَ‍‍ظُ‍‍وا فُرُ‌وجَهُمْ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ ‌أَ‌زْكَى‌ لَهُمْ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ خَ‍‍ب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ بِمَا‌ يَ‍‍صْ‍‍نَعُونَ
Wa Qul Lilmu'umināti Yaghđuđna Min 'Abşārihinna Wa Yaĥfažna Furūjahunna Wa Lā Yubdīna Zīnatahunna 'Illā Mā Žahara Minhā ۖ Wa Lyađribna Bikhumurihinna `Alá Juyūbihinna ۖ Wa Lā Yubdīna Zīnatahunna 'Illā Libu`ūlatihinna 'Aw 'Ābā'ihinna 'Aw 'Ābā'i Bu`ūlatihinna 'Aw 'Abnā'ihinna 'Aw 'Abnā'i Bu`ūlatihinna 'Aw 'Ikhwānihinna 'Aw Banī 'Ikhwānihinna 'Aw Banī 'Akhawātihinna 'Aw Nisā'ihinna 'Aw Mā Malakat 'Aymānuhunna 'Awi At-Tābi`īna Ghayri 'Ūlī Al-'Irbati Mina Ar-Rijāli 'Awi Aţ-Ţifli Al-Ladhīna Lam Yažharū `Alá `Awrāti An-Nisā' ۖ Wa Lā Yađribna Bi'arjulihinna Liyu`lama Mā Yukhfīna Min Zīnatihinna ۚ Wa Tūbū 'Ilá Allāhi Jamī`āan 'Ayyuhā Al-Mu'uminūna La`allakum Tufliĥūna (An-Nūr: 31). 024.031 And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands' fathers, or their sons or their husbands' sons, or their brothers or their brothers' sons or sisters' sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women's nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed. وَ‍‍قُ‍‍لْ لِلْمُؤْمِن‍‍َاتِ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍ضُ‍‍ضْ‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَبْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌وَيَحْفَ‍‍ظْ‍‍نَ فُرُ‌وجَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍د‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌زِينَتَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَا‌ ظَ‍‍هَ‍رَ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ۖ ‌وَلْيَ‍‍ضْ‍‍رِبْ‍‍نَ بِ‍‍خُ‍‍مُ‍‍رِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ عَلَى‌ جُيُوبِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍د‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌زِينَتَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌إِلاَّ‌ لِبُعُولَتِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ آب‍‍َائِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ آب‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ بُعُولَتِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ أَبْ‍‍ن‍‍َائِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ أَبْ‍‍ن‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ بُعُولَتِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ إِخْ‍‍وَ‌انِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِخْ‍‍وَ‌انِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍وَ‌اتِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ نِس‍‍َائِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مَا‌ مَلَكَتْ ‌أَيْمَانُهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وِ‌ ‌ال‍‍تَّابِع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْلِي ‌الإِ‌ر‍‍ْ‍بَةِ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍رِّج‍‍َالِ ‌أَ‌وِ‌ ‌ال‍‍طِّ‍‍فْلِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لَمْ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍هَرُ‌وا عَلَى‌ عَوْ‌رَ‍‌اتِ ‌ال‍‍نِس‍‍َا‌ء‌ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‍ضْ‍‍رِبْ‍‍نَ بِأَ‌رْجُلِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا‌ يُ‍‍خْ‍‍ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌زِينَتِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ۚ ‌وَتُوبُ‍‍وا ‌إِلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ جَمِيعاً أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
Wa 'Ankiĥū Al-'Ayāmá Minkum Wa Aş-Şāliĥīna Min `Ibādikum Wa 'Imā'ikum ۚ 'In Yakūnū Fuqarā'a Yughnihimu Allāhu Min Fađlihi ۗ Wa Allāhu Wāsi`un `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 32). 024.032 And marry such of you as are solitary and the pious of your slaves and maid-servants. If they be poor, Allah will enrich them of His bounty. Allah is of ample means, Aware. وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍كِحُوا ‌الأَيَامَى‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِبَا‌دِكُمْ ‌وَ‌إِم‍‍َائِكُمْ ۚ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَكُونُوا فُ‍‍قَ‍‍ر‍َ‌اءَ‌ يُ‍‍غْ‍‍نِهِمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِهِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ ‌وَ‌اسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
Wa Lyasta`fifi Al-Ladhīna Lā Yajidūna Nikāĥāan Ĥattá Yughniyahumu Allāhu Min Fađlihi ۗ Wa Al-Ladhīna Yabtaghūna Al-Kitāba Mimmā Malakat 'Aymānukum Fakātibūhum 'In `Alimtum Fīhim Khayan ۖ Wa 'Ātūhum Min Māli Allāhi Al-Ladhī 'Ātākum ۚ Wa Lā Tukrihū Fatayātikum `Alá Al-Bighā'i 'In 'Aradna Taĥaşşunāan Litabtaghū `Arađa Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunۚ Wa Man Yukrihhunna Fa'inna Allāha Min Ba`di 'Ikhihinna Ghafūrun Raĥīmun (An-Nūr: 33). 024.033 And let those who cannot find a match keep chaste till Allah give them independence by His grace. And such of your slaves as seek a writing (of emancipation), write it for them if ye are aware of aught of good in them, and bestow upon them of the wealth of Allah which He hath bestowed upon you. Force not your slave-girls to whoredom that ye may seek enjoyment of the life of the world, if they would preserve their chastity. And if one force them, then (unto them), after their compulsion, lo! Allah will be Forgiving, Merciful. وَلْيَسْتَعْفِفِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يَجِد‍ُ‍‌ونَ نِكَاحاً‌ حَتَّى‌ يُ‍‍‍‍غْ‍‍نِيَهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِهِ ۗ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَ‍‍غُ‍‍ونَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابَ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ مَلَكَتْ ‌أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَكَاتِبُوهُمْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَ‍‍يْر‌اً ۖ ‌وَ‌آتُوهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ م‍‍َالِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌الَّذِي ‌آتَاكُمْ ۚ ‌وَلاَ‌ تُكْ‍‍رِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى‌ ‌الْبِ‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌ءِ إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌‍رَ‌دْنَ تَحَ‍‍صُّ‍‍ناً لِتَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَ‍‍غُ‍‍وا عَ‍رَضَ ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُكْ‍‍رِهُّ‍‍نّ‌َ فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ إِكْ‍رَ‌اهِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ ‌‍رَحِيمٌ
Wa Laqad 'Anzalnā 'Ilaykum 'Āyātin Mubayyinātin Wa Mathalāan Mina Al-Ladhīna Khalawā Min Qablikum Wa Maw`ižatan Lilmuttaqīna (An-Nūr: 34). 024.034 And verily We have sent down for you revelations that make plain, and the example of those who passed away before you. An admonition unto those who ward off (evil). وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَ‍‍ا إِلَيْكُمْ ‌آي‍‍َاتٍ مُبَيِّن‍‍َاتٍ ‌وَمَثَلاً مِنَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ خَ‍‍لَوْ‌ا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكُمْ ‌وَمَوْعِ‍‍ظَ‍‍ة ً‌ لِلْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Al-Lahu Nūru As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۚ Mathalu Nūrihi Kamishkāatin Fīhā Mişbāĥun ۖ Al-Mişbāĥu Fī Zujājatin ۖ Az-Zujājatu Ka'annahā Kawkabun Durrīyunqadu Min Shajaratin Mubārakatin ZaytūniatinSharqīyatin Wa Lā Gharbīyatin Yakādu Zaytuhā Yuđī'u Wa Law Lam Tamsas/hu Nārun ۚ Nūrun `Alá Nūrin ۗ Yahdī Al-Lahu Linūrihi Man Yashā'u ۚ Wa Yađribu Allāhu Al-'Amthāla Lilnnāsi ۗ Wa Allāhu Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 35). 024.035 Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The similitude of His light is as a niche wherein is a lamp. The lamp is in a glass. The glass is as it were a shining star. (This lamp is) kindled from a blessed tree, an olive neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself) though no fire touched it. Light upon light. Allah guideth unto His light whom He will. And Allah speaketh to mankind in allegories, for Allah is Knower of all things. اللَّهُ ن‍‍ُ‍و‌رُ‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُو‌رِهِ كَمِشْك‍‍َاةٍ فِيهَا‌ مِ‍‍صْ‍‍ب‍‍َاحٌ ۖ ‌الْمِ‍‍صْ‍‍ب‍‍َاحُ فِي ‌زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ ‌ال‍‍زُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّ‍‍هَا‌ كَوْكَبٌ ‌دُ‌رِّيٌّ يُوقَ‍‍دُ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَجَ‍رَةٍ مُبَا‌‍رَكَةٍ ‌زَيْتُونِةٍ لاَ‌ شَرْقِ‍‍يَّةٍ ‌وَلاَ غَ‍‍رْبِيَّةٍ يَك‍‍َا‌دُ زَيْتُهَا‌ يُ‍‍ض‍ِ‍يءُ وَلَوْ‌ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ ن‍‍َا‌رٌ ۚ ن‍‍ُ‍و‌رٌ‌ عَلَى‌ ن‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٍ ۗ يَهْدِي ‌اللَّهُ لِنُو‌رِهِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۚ ‌وَيَ‍‍ضْ‍‍رِبُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الأَمْث‍‍َالَ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَ‍‍يْءٍ‌ عَلِيمٌ
Fī Buyūtin 'Adhina Allāhu 'An Turfa`a Wa Yudhkara Fīhā Asmuhu Yusabbiĥu Lahu Fīhā Bil-Ghudūwi Wa Al-'Āşāli (An-Nūr: 36). 024.036 (This lamp is found) in houses which Allah hath allowed to be exalted and that His name shall be remembered therein. Therein do offer praise to Him at morn and evening. فِي بُي‍‍ُ‍وتٍ ‌أَ‌ذِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تُرْفَعَ ‌وَيُذْكَ‍‍‍رَ‌ فِيهَا‌ ‌اسْمُهُ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ فِيهَا‌ بِ‍الْ‍‍غُ‍‍دُ‌وِّ وَ‌الآ‍‍صَ‍‍الِ
Rijālun Lā Tulhīhim Tijāratun Wa Lā Bay`un `An Dhikri Allāhi Wa 'Iqāmi Aş-Şalāati Wa 'Ītā'i Az-Zakāati ۙ Yakhāfūna Yawmāan Tataqallabu Fīhi Al-Qulūbu Wa Al-'Abşāru (An-Nūr: 37). 024.037 Men whom neither merchandise nor sale beguileth from remembrance of Allah and constancy in prayer and paying to the poor their due; who fear a day when hearts and eyeballs will be overturned; ‍رِج‍‍َال ٌ لاَ‌ تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَا‌‍‍‍رَةٌ ‌وَلاَ‌ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍عٌ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذِكْ‍‍رِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌إِ‍قَ‍امِ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةِ ‌وَ‌إِيت‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ ‌ال‍‍زَّك‍‍َاةِ ۙ يَ‍‍خَ‍‍اف‍‍ُ‍ونَ يَوْماً تَتَ‍‍قَ‍‍لَّبُ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍وبُ ‌وَ‌الأَبْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رُ
Liyajziyahumu Allāhu 'Aĥsana Mā `Amilū Wa Yazīdahum Min Fađlihi ۗ Wa Allāhu Yarzuqu Man Yashā'u Bighayri Ĥisābin (An-Nūr: 38). 024.038 That Allah may reward them with the best of what they did, and increase reward for them of His bounty. Allah giveth blessings without stint to whom He will. لِيَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِيَهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَحْسَنَ مَا‌ عَمِلُوا ‌وَيَزِيدَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍‍‍ضْ‍‍لِهِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يَرْ‌زُقُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ حِسَابٍ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'A`māluhum Kasarābin Biqī`atin Yaĥsabuhu Až-Žam'ānu Mā'an Ĥattá 'Idhā Jā'ahu Lam Yajid/hu Shay'āan Wa Wajada Allāha `Indahu Fawaffāhu Ĥisābahu ۗ Wa Allāhu Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi (An-Nūr: 39). 024.039 As for those who disbelieve, their deeds are as a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one supposeth it to be water till he cometh unto it and findeth it naught, and findeth, in the place thereof, Allah Who payeth him his due; and Allah is swift at reckoning. وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَسَ‍‍رَ‍‌ابٍ بِ‍‍قِ‍‍يعَةٍ يَحْسَبُهُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍مْآنُ م‍‍َا‌ءً‌ حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَهُ لَمْ يَجِ‍‍دْهُ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ‌وَ‌وَجَدَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهُ فَوَفّ‍‍َاهُ حِسَابَهُ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ سَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌الْحِسَابِ
'Aw Kažulumātin Fī Baĥrin Lujjīyin Yaghshāhu Mawjun Min Fawqihi Mawjun Min Fawqihi Saĥābun ۚ Žulumātun Ba`đuhā Fawqa Ba`đin 'Idhā 'Akhraja Yadahu Lam Yakad Yaۗ Wa Man Lam Yaj`ali Allāhu Lahu Nūan Famā Lahu Min Nūrin (An-Nūr: 40). 024.040 Or as darkness on a vast, abysmal sea. There covereth him a wave, above which is a wave, above which is a cloud. Layer upon layer of darkness. When he holdeth out his hand he scarce can see it. And he for whom Allah hath not appointed light, for him there is no light. أَ‌وْ‌ كَ‍‍‍‍ظُ‍‍لُم‍‍َاتٍ فِي بَحْر‌ٍ لُجِّيٍّ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍ش‍‍َاهُ مَ‍‍وْجٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَوْقِ‍‍هِ مَ‍‍وْجٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَوْقِ‍‍هِ سَح‍‍َابٌ ۚ ظُ‍‍لُم‍‍َات‌‍ٌ بَعْ‍‍ضُ‍‍هَا‌ فَ‍‍وْ‍‍قَ بَعْ‍‍ضٍ إِ‌ذَ‌ا أَ‍خْ‍رَجَ يَدَهُ لَمْ يَكَ‍‍دْ‌ يَ‍رَ‌اهَا‌ ۗ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَمْ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لَهُ نُو‌ر‌اً فَمَا‌ لَهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نُو‌رٍ
'Alam Tará 'Anna Allāha Yusabbiĥu Lahu Man As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Aţ-Ţayru Şāffātin ۖ Kullun Qad `Alima Şalātahu Wa Tasbīĥahu ۗ Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Bimā Yaf`alūna (An-Nūr: 41). 024.041 Hast thou not seen that Allah, He it is Whom all who are in the heavens and the earth praise, and the birds in their flight ? Of each He knoweth verily the worship and the praise; and Allah is Aware of what they do. أَلَمْ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ صَ‍افّ‍‍َاتٍ ۖ كُلٌّ قَ‍‍دْ‌ عَلِمَ صَ‍‍لاَتَهُ ‌وَتَسْبِيحَهُ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍م‌‍ٌ بِمَا‌ يَفْعَلُونَ
Wa Lillāh Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۖ Wa 'Ilá Allāhi Al-Maşīru (An-Nūr: 42). 024.042 And unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and unto Allah is the journeying. وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌الْمَ‍‍صِ‍‍يرُ
'Alam Tará 'Anna Allāha Yuzjī Saĥābāan Thumma Yu'uallifu Baynahu Thumma Yaj`aluhu Rukāmāan Fatará Al-Wadqa Yakhruju Min Khilālihi Wa Yunazzilu Mina As-Samā'i Min Jibālin Fīhā Min Baradin Fayuşību Bihi Man Yashā'u Wa Yaşrifuhu `An Man Yashā'u ۖ Yakādu Sanā Barqihi Yadh/habu Bil-'Abşāri (An-Nūr: 43). 024.043 Hast thou not seen how Allah wafteth the clouds, then gathereth them, then maketh them layers, and thou seest the rain come forth from between them; He sendeth down from the heaven mountains wherein is hail, and smiteth therewith whom He will, and averteth it from whom He will. The flashing of His lightning all but snatcheth away the sight. أَلَمْ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يُزْجِي سَحَاباً ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يُؤَلِّفُ بَيْنَهُ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلُهُ ‌رُكَاماً فَتَ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌الْوَ‌دْ‍قَ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍رُجُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خِ‍‍لاَلِهِ ‌وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ جِب‍‍َالٍ فِيهَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَ‍رَ‌د‌‌ٍ فَيُ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍بُ بِهِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَيَ‍‍صْ‍‍رِفُهُ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۖ يَك‍‍َا‌دُ‌ سَنَا‌ بَرْقِ‍‍هِ يَذْهَبُ بِ‍الأَبْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رِ
Yuqallibu Allāhu Al-Layla Wa An-Nahāra ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La`ibratan Li'wl99 Al-'Abşāri (An-Nūr: 44). 024.044 Allah causeth the revolution of the day and the night. Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for those who see. يُ‍‍قَ‍‍لِّبُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌‍رَۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَعِ‍‍بْ‍‍‍رَة ً‌ لِأ‌و‍‍ْ‍لِي ‌الأَبْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رِ
Wa Allāhu Khalaqa Kulla Dābbatin Min Mā'in ۖ Faminhum Man Yamshī `Alá Baţnihi Wa Minhum Man Yamshī `Alá Rijlayni Wa Minhum Man Yamshī `Alá 'Arba`in ۚ Yakhluqu Allāhu Mā Yashā'u ۚ 'Inna Allāha `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun (An-Nūr: 45). 024.045 Allah hath created every animal of water. Of them is (a kind) that goeth upon its belly and (a kind) that goeth upon two legs and (a kind) that goeth upon four. Allah createth what He will. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things. وَ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ كُلَّ ‌د‍َ‍‌ابَّةٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ م‍‍َا‌ء‌‌ٍ ۖ فَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَمْشِي عَلَى‌ بَ‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍نِهِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَمْشِي عَلَى‌ ‌رِجْ‍‍لَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَمْشِي عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‌رْبَعٍ ۚ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُ‍‍قُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مَا‌ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ قَ‍‍دِيرٌ
Laqad 'Anzalnā 'Āyātin Mubayyinātin ۚ Wa Allāhu Yahdī Man Yashā'u 'Ilá Şiţin Mustaqīmin (An-Nūr: 46). 024.046 Verily We have sent down revelations and explained them. Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path. لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَ‍‍ا آي‍‍َاتٍ مُبَيِّن‍‍َاتٍ ۚ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يَهْدِي مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ إِلَى‌ صِ‍رَ‍‌اطٍ مُسْتَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمٍ
Wa Yaqūlūna 'Āmannā Billāhi Wa Bir-Rasūli Wa 'Aţa`nā Thumma Yatawallá Farīqun Minhum Min Ba`di Dhālika ۚ Wa Mā 'Ūlā'ika Bil-Mu'uminīna (An-Nūr: 47). 024.047 And they say: We believe in Allah and the messenger, and we obey; then after that a faction of them turn away. Such are not believers. وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَبِال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولِ ‌وَ‌أَطَ‍‍عْنَا‌ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يَتَوَلَّى‌ فَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍قٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ بِ‍الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Idhā Du`ū 'Ilá Allāhi Wa Rasūlihi Liyaĥkuma Baynahum 'Idhā Farīqun Minhum Mu`rūna (An-Nūr: 48). 024.048 And when they appeal unto Allah and His messenger to judge between them, lo! a faction of them are averse; وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا دُعُ‍‍وا ‌إِلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌‍‍‍رَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ فَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍قٌ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مُعْ‍‍رِ‍ضُ‍‍ونَ
Wa 'In Yakun Lahumu Al-Ĥaqqu Ya'tū 'Ilayhi Mudh`inīna (An-Nūr: 49). 024.049 But if right had been with them they would have come unto him willingly. وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَهُمُ ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قُّ يَأْتُ‍‍وا ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مُذْعِنِينَ
'Afī Qulūbihim Marađun 'Am Artābū 'Am Yakhāfūna 'An Yaĥīfa Allāhu `Alayhim Wa ۚ Rasūluhu Bal 'Ūlā'ika Humu Až-Žālimūn (An-Nūr: 50). 024.050 Is there in their hearts a disease, or have they doubts, or fear they lest Allah and His messenger should wrong them in judgment ? Nay, but such are evil-doers. أَفِي قُ‍‍لُوبِهِمْ مَ‍رَضٌ ‌أَمْ ‌ا‌رْتَابُ‍‍وا ‌أَمْ يَ‍‍خَ‍‍اف‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍فَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولُهُ ۚ بَلْ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمُون
'Innamā Kāna Qawla Al-Mu'uminīna 'Idhā Du`ū 'Ilá Allāhi Wa Rasūlihi Liyaĥkuma Baynahum 'An Yaqūlū Sami`nā Wa 'Aţa`nā ۚ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mufliĥūna (An-Nūr: 51). 024.051 The saying of (all true) believers when they appeal unto Allah and His messenger to judge between them is only that they say: We hear and we obey. And such are the successful. إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ قَ‍‍وْلَ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا دُعُ‍‍وا ‌إِلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُوا سَمِعْنَا وَ‌أَطَ‍‍عْنَا‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْمُفْلِحُونَ
Wa Man Yuţi`i Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Wa Yakhsha Allāha Wa Yattaqhi Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Fā'izūna (An-Nūr: 52). 024.052 He who obeyeth Allah and His messenger, and feareth Allah, and keepeth duty (unto Him): such indeed are the victorious. وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍‍‍طِ‍‍عِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولَهُ ‌وَيَ‍‍خْ‍‍شَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَيَتَّ‍‍ق‍‍‍‍هِ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْف‍‍َائِزُ‌ونَ
Wa 'Aqsamū Billāhi Jahda 'Aymānihim La'in 'Amartahum Layakhrujunna ۖ Qul Lā Tuqsimū ۖ Ţā`atun Ma`rūfatun ۚ 'Inna Allāha Khabīrun Bimā Ta`malūna (An-Nūr: 53). 024.053 They swear by Allah solemnly that, if thou order them, they will go forth. Say: Swear not; known obedience (is better). Lo! Allah is Informed of what ye do. وَ‌أَ‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍سَمُوا بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَمَرْتَهُمْ لَيَ‍‍خْ‍‍رُجُ‍‍نّ‌َ ۖ قُ‍‍لْ لاَ‌ تُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍سِمُوا ۖ طَ‍‍اعَةٌ مَعْرُ‌وفَةٌ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ خَ‍‍ب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ بِمَا‌ تَعْمَلُونَ
Qul 'Aţī`ū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ū Ar-Rasūla ۖ Fa'in Tawallaw Fa'innamā `Alayhi Mā Ĥummila Wa `Alaykum Mā Ĥummiltum ۖ Wa 'In Tuţī`ūhu Tahtadū ۚ Wa Mā `Alá Ar-Rasūli 'Illā Al-Balāghu Al-Mubīnu (An-Nūr: 54). 024.054 Say: Obey Allah and obey the messenger. But if ye turn away, then (it is) for him (to do) only that wherewith he hath been charged, and for you (to do) only that wherewith ye have been charged. If ye obey him, ye will go aright. But the messenger hath no other charge than to convey (the message) plainly. قُ‍‍لْ ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُوا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُوا ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولَ ۖ فَإِ‌ن‌ْ تَوَلَّو‌ا‌ فَإِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مَا‌ حُ‍‍مِّ‍‍لَ ‌وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَا‌ حُ‍‍مِّ‍‍لْتُمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تُ‍‍طِ‍‍يع‍‍ُ‍وهُ تَهْتَدُ‌وا ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولِ ‌إِلاَّ ‌الْبَلاَغُ ‌الْمُبِينُ
Wa`ada Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Minkum Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Layastakhlifannahum Al-'Arđi Kamā Astakhlafa Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Wa Layumakkinanna Lahum Dīnahumu Al-Ladhī Artađá Lahum Wa Layubaddilannahum Min Ba`di Khawfihim 'Amnāan ۚ Ya`budūnanī Lā Yushrikūna Bī Shay'āan ۚ Wa Man Kafara Ba`da Dhālika Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Fāsiqūna (An-Nūr: 55). 024.055 Allah hath promised such of you as believe and do good work that He will surely make them to succeed (the present rulers) in the earth even as He caused those who were before them to succeed (others); and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He hath approved for them, and will give them in exchange safety after their fear. They serve Me. They ascribe no thing as partner unto Me. Those who disbelieve henceforth, they are the miscreants. وَعَدَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَعَمِلُوا ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ لَيَسْتَ‍‍خْ‍‍لِفَ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُم فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ كَمَا‌ ‌اسْتَ‍‍خْ‍‍لَفَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِمْ ‌وَلَيُمَكِّنَ‍‍نّ‌َ لَهُمْ ‌دِينَهُمُ ‌الَّذِي ‌ا‌رْتَ‍‍ضَ‍‍ى‌ لَهُمْ ‌وَلَيُبَدِّلَ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ خَ‍‍وْفِهِمْ ‌أَمْناً ۚ يَعْبُدُ‌ونَنِي لاَ‌ يُشْ‍‍رِك‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِي شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كَفَ‍رَ‌ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْفَاسِ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Wa 'Aqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Ātū Az-Zakāata Wa 'Aţī`ū Ar-Rasūla La`allakum Turĥamūna (An-Nūr: 56). 024.056 Establish worship and pay the poor-due and obey the messenger, that haply ye may find mercy. وَ‌أَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمُوا ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةَ ‌وَ‌آتُوا ‌ال‍‍زَّك‍‍َاةَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُوا ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
Lā Taĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Mu`jizīna Fī Al-'Arđi ۚ Wa Ma'w7humu An-Nāru ۖ Wa Labi'sa Al-Maşīru (An-Nūr: 57). 024.057 Think not that the disbelievers can escape in the land. Fire will be their home - a hapless journey's end! لاَ‌ تَحْسَبَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا مُعْجِز‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ۚ ‌وَمَأْ‌وَ‌اهُمُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌رُ‌ ۖ ‌وَلَبِئْسَ ‌الْمَ‍‍صِ‍‍يرُ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Liyasta'dhinkumu Al-Ladhīna Malakat 'Aymānukum Wa Al-Ladhīna Lam Yablughū Al-Ĥuluma Minkum Thalātha Marrātin ۚ Min Qabli Şalāati Al-Fajri Wa Ĥīna Tađa`ūna Thiyā Bakum Mina Až-Žahīrati Wa Min Ba`di Şalāati ۚ Al-`Ishā'i Thalāthu `Awrātin ۚ Lakum Laysa `Alaykum Wa Lā `Alayhim ۚ Junāĥun Ba`dahunna Ţawwāfūna `Alaykum Ba`đukum ۚ `Alá Ba`đin Kadhālika Yubayyinu Allāhu ۗ Lakumu Al-'Āyā Ti Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥakīmun (An-Nūr: 58). 024.058 O ye who believe! Let your slaves, and those of you who have not come to puberty, ask leave of you at three times (before they come into your presence): Before the prayer of dawn, and when ye lay aside your raiment for the heat of noon, and after the prayer of night. Three times of privacy for you. It is no sin for them or for you at other times, when some of you go round attendant upon others (if they come into your presence without leave). Thus Allah maketh clear the revelations for you. Allah is Knower, Wise. ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا لِيَسْتَأْ‌ذِ‌نْ‍‍كُمُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مَلَكَتْ ‌أَيْمَانُكُمْ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لَمْ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ‍‍‍‍غُ‍‍وا ‌الْحُلُمَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ ثَلاَثَ مَرّ‍َ‍‌اتٍ ۚ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ صَ‍‍لاَةِ ‌الْفَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِ ‌وَح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَ‍‍ضَ‍‍ع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ثِيَابَكُمْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍هِي‍رَةِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ صَ‍‍لاَةِ ‌الْعِش‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ ۚ ثَلاَثُ عَوْ‌رَ‍‌اتٍ لَكُمْ ۚ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ عَلَيْهِمْ جُن‍‍َاح‌‍ٌ بَعْدَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ۚ طَ‍‍وَّ‌اف‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَيْكُمْ بَعْ‍‍ضُ‍‍كُمْ عَلَى‌ بَعْ‍‍ضٍۚ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمُ ‌الآي‍‍َاتِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ حَكِيمٌ
Wa 'Idhā Balagha Al-'Aţfālu Minkumu Al-Ĥuluma Falyasta'dhinū Kamā Asta'dhana Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim ۚ Kadhālika Yubayyinu Allāhu Lakum 'Āyātihi ۗ Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥakīmun (An-Nūr: 59). 024.059 And when the children among you come to puberty then let them ask leave even as those before them used to ask it. Thus Allah maketh clear His revelations for you. Allah is Knower, Wise. وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ بَلَ‍‍‍‍غَ ‌الأَ‍طْ‍‍‍‍ف‍‍َالُ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمُ ‌الْحُلُمَ فَلْيَسْتَأْ‌ذِنُوا كَمَا‌ ‌اسْتَأْ‌ذَنَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِمْ ۚ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمْ ‌آيَاتِهِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ حَكِيمٌ
Wa Al-Qawā`idu Mina An-Nisā' Al-Lātī Lā Yarjūna Nikāĥāan Falaysa `Alayhinna Junāĥun 'An Yađa`na Thiyābahunna Ghayra Mutabarrijātin Bizīnatin ۖ Wa 'An Yasta`fifna Khayrun Lahunna ۗ Wa Allāhu Samī`un `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 60). 024.060 As for women past child-bearing, who have no hope of marriage, it is no sin for them if they discard their (outer) clothing in such a way as not to show adornment. But to refrain is better for them. Allah is Hearer, Knower. وَ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍وَ‌اعِدُ‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نِس‍‍َا‌ء‌ ‌ال‍‍لاَّتِي لاَ‌ يَرْج‍‍ُ‍ونَ نِكَاحاً فَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ عَلَيْهِ‍‍نّ‌َ جُن‍‍َاحٌ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍ضَ‍‍عْنَ ثِيَابَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌ مُتَبَرِّج‍‍َاتٍ بِزِينَةٍ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَسْتَعْفِفْنَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ لَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ سَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عٌ عَلِيمٌ
Laysa `Alá Al-'A`má Ĥarajun Wa Lā `Alá Al-'A`raji Ĥarajun Wa Lā `Alá Al-Marīđi Ĥarajun Wa Lā `Alá 'Anfusikum 'An Ta'kulū Min Buyūtikum 'Aw Buyūti 'Ābā'ikum 'Aw Buyūti 'Ummahātikum 'Aw Buyūti 'Ikhwānikum 'Aw Buyūti 'Akhawātikum 'Aw Buyūti 'A`māmikum 'Aw Buyūti `Ammātikum 'Aw Buyūti 'Akhwālikum 'Aw Buyūti Khālātikum 'Aw Mā Malaktum Mafātiĥahu 'Aw Şadīqikum ۚ Laysa `Alaykum Junāĥun 'An Ta'kulū Jamī`āan 'Aw 'Ashtātāan ۚ Fa'idhā Dakhaltum Buyūtāan Fasallimū `Alá 'Anfusikum Taĥīyatan Min `Indi Allāhi Mubārakatan Ţayyibatan ۚ Kadhālika Yubayyinu Allāhu Lakumu Al-'Āyāti La`allakum Ta`qilūna (An-Nūr: 61). 024.061 No blame is there upon the blind nor any blame upon the lame nor any blame upon the sick nor on yourselves if ye eat from your houses, or the houses of your fathers, or the houses of your mothers, or the houses of your brothers, or the houses of your sisters, or the houses of your fathers' brothers, or the houses of your fathers' sisters, or the houses of your mothers' brothers, or the houses of your mothers' sisters, or (from that) whereof ye hold the keys, or (from the house) of a friend. No sin shall it be for you whether ye eat together or apart. But when ye enter houses, salute one another with a greeting from Allah, blessed and sweet. Thus Allah maketh clear His revelations for you, that haply ye may understand. لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ عَلَى‌ ‌الأَعْمَى‌ حَ‍‍‍رَجٌ ‌وَلاَ‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الأَعْ‍رَجِ حَ‍رَجٌ ‌وَلاَ‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الْمَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍ضِ حَ‍رَجٌ ‌وَلاَ‌ عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‍‍فُسِكُمْ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَأْكُلُوا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بُيُوتِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌آب‍‍َائِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌أُمَّ‍‍هَاتِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌إِخْ‍‍وَ‌انِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍وَ‌اتِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌أَعْمَامِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ عَ‍‍مَّ‍‍اتِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ ‌أَ‍خْ‍‍وَ‌الِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ بُي‍‍ُ‍وتِ خَ‍‍الاَتِكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ مَا‌ مَلَكْتُمْ مَفَاتِحَهُ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ صَ‍‍دِي‍‍قِ‍‍كُمْ ۚ لَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُن‍‍َاحٌ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَأْكُلُوا جَمِيعاً أَ‌وْ أَشْتَاتاً ۚ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا دَ‍خَ‍‍لْتُمْ بُيُوتاً فَسَلِّمُوا عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‍‍فُسِكُمْ تَحِيَّةً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مُبَا‌‍رَكَةً طَ‍‍يِّبَةً ۚ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمُ ‌الآي‍‍َاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍لُونَ
'Innamā Al-Mu'uminūna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Billāhi Wa Rasūlihi Wa 'Idhā Kānū Ma`ahu `Alá 'Amrin Jāmi`in Lam Yadh/habū Ĥattá Yasta'dhinūhu ۚ 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yasta'dhinūnaka 'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Yu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Rasūlihi ۚ Fa'idhā Asta'dhanūka Liba`đi Sha'nihim Fa'dhan Liman Shi'ta Minhum Wa Astaghfir Lahumu Allāha ۚ 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun (An-Nūr: 62). 024.062 They only are the true believers who believe in Allah and His messenger and, when they are with him on some common errand, go not away until they have asked leave of him. Lo! those who ask leave of thee, those are they who believe in Allah and His messenger. So, if they ask thy leave for some affair of theirs, give leave to whom thou wilt of them, and ask for them forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌‍‍‍رَسُولِهِ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ كَانُوا مَعَهُ عَلَ‍‍ى أَمْر‌‌ٍ جَامِعٍ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا حَتَّى‌ يَسْتَأْ‌ذِن‍‍ُ‍وهُ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَسْتَأْ‌ذِنُونَكَ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‍اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولِهِ ۚ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌اسْتَأْ‌ذَن‍‍ُ‍وكَ لِبَعْ‍‍ضِ شَأْنِهِمْ فَأْ‌ذَ‌ن‌ْ لِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شِئْتَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌وَ‌اسْتَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لَهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ ‌‍رَحِيمٌ
Lā Taj`alū Du`ā'a Ar-Rasūli Baynakum Kadu`ā'i Ba`đikum Ba`đāan ۚ Qad Ya`lamu Allāhu Al-Ladhīna Yatasallalūna Minkum Liwādhāan ۚ Falyaĥdhari Al-Ladhīna Yukhālifūna `An 'Amrihi 'An Tuşībahum Fitnatun 'Aw Yuşībahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun (An-Nūr: 63). 024.063 Make not the calling of the messenger among you as your calling one of another. Allah knoweth those of you who steal away, hiding themselves. And let those who conspire to evade orders beware lest grief or painful punishment befall them. لاَ‌ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلُوا ‌دُع‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍‍‍‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولِ بَيْنَكُمْ كَدُع‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ بَعْ‍‍ضِ‍‍كُمْ بَعْ‍‍ض‍‍اً ۚ قَ‍‍دْ‌ يَعْلَمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَتَسَلَّل‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ لِوَ‌ا‌ذ‌اً ۚ فَلْيَحْذَ‌رِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُ‍‍خَ‍‍الِف‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَمْ‍‍رِهِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تُ‍‍صِ‍‍يبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يُ‍‍صِ‍‍يبَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ ‌أَلِيمٌ
'Alā 'Inna Lillāh Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۖ Qad Ya`lamu Mā 'Antum `Alayhi Wa Yawma Yurja`ūna 'Ilayhi Fayunabbi'uhum Bimā `Amilū ۗ Wa Allāhu Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun (An-Nūr: 64). 024.064 Lo! verily unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. He knoweth your condition. And (He knoweth) the Day when they are returned unto Him so that He may inform them of what they did. Allah is Knower of all things. أَلاَ إِنّ‌َ لِلَّهِ مَا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ۖ قَ‍‍دْ‌ يَعْلَمُ مَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌وَيَ‍‍وْمَ يُرْجَع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ فَيُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا‌ عَمِلُوا ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَ‍‍يْءٍ‌ عَلِيمٌ
