Al-Qāri`atu
 
| Al-Qāri'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), (Al-Qari'ah 101:1)
|
الْقَارِعَةُ |
| Mā Al-Qāri`atu
| What is the striking (Hour)? (Al-Qari'ah 101:2)
|
مَا الْقَارِعَةُ |
| Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Al-Qāri`atu
| And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? (Al-Qari'ah 101:3)
|
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ |
| Yawma Yakūnu An-Nāsu Kālfarāshi Al-Mabthūthi
| It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, (Al-Qari'ah 101:4)
|
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ |
| Wa Takūnu Al-Jibālu Kāl`ihni Al-Manfūshi
| And the mountains will be like carded wool, (Al-Qari'ah 101:5)
|
وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ |
| Fa'ammā Man Thaqulat Mawāzīnuhu
| Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, (Al-Qari'ah 101:6)
|
فَأَمَّا مَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ |
| Fahuwa Fī `Īshatin Rāđiyatin
| He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). (Al-Qari'ah 101:7)
|
فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَاضِيَةٍ |
| Wa 'Ammā Man Khaffat Mawāzīnuhu
| But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, (Al-Qari'ah 101:8)
|
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ |
| Fa'ummuhu Hāwiyatun
| He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). (Al-Qari'ah 101:9)
|
فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ |
| Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Hiyah
| And what will make you know what it is? (Al-Qari'ah 101:10)
|
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ |
| Nārun Ĥāmiyatun
| (It is) a hot blazing Fire! (Al-Qari'ah 101:11)

نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ |
