Al-Ĥamdu Lillāh Al-Ladhī 'Anzala `Alá `Abdihi Al-Kitāba Wa Lam Yaj`al Llahu `Iwajā ۜ (Al-Kahf: 1). Praise be to God, who revealed the Book to His servant, and allowed in it no distortion. 018001 ‌الْ‍‍حَمْدُ‌ لِ‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌الَّذِي ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلَ عَلَى‌ عَ‍‍بْ‍‍دِهِ ‌الْ‍‍كِت‍‍َابَ ‌وَلَمْ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلْ لَّهُ عِوَجَا‌ ۜ (الكَهف: 1).
Qayyimāan Liyundhira Ba'sāan Shadīdāan Min Ladunhu Wa Yubashshira Al-Mu'uminīna Al-Ladhīna Ya`malūna Aş-Şāliĥāti 'Anna Lahum 'Ajan Ĥasanāan (Al-Kahf: 2). Valuable"”to warn of severe punishment from Himself; and to deliver good news to the believers who do righteous deeds, that they will have an excellent reward. 018002 قَ‍‍يِّماً لِيُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذِ‌رَ بَأْساً شَدِيد‌اً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَدُ‌نْ‍‍هُ ‌وَيُبَشِّ‍‍رَ ‌الْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَعْمَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ ‌أَنّ‌َ لَهُمْ ‌أَجْ‍‍ر‌اً‌ حَسَناً
Mākithīna Fīhi 'Abadāan (Al-Kahf: 3). In which they will abide forever. 018003 مَاكِث‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌أَبَد‌اً
Wa Yundhira Al-Ladhīna Qālū Attakhadha Allāhu Waladāan (Al-Kahf: 4). And to warn those who say, "God has begotten a son."‌ 018004 وَيُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذِ‌رَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ قَ‍‍الُوا‌ ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌وَلَد‌اً
Mmā Lahum Bihi Min `Ilmin Wa Lā Li'ābā'ihim ۚ Kaburat Kalimatan Takhruju Min 'Afwāhihim ۚ 'In Yaqūlūna 'Illā Kadhibāan (Al-Kahf: 5). They have no knowledge of this, nor did their forefathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths. They say nothing but a lie. 018005 ‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ لَهُمْ بِهِ مِ‍‌ن‌ْ عِلْمٍ ‌وَلاَ‌ لِآب‍‍َائِهِمْ ۚ كَبُ‍رَتْ كَلِمَةً تَ‍‍خْ‍‍رُجُ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَفْوَ‌اهِهِمْ ۚ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ كَذِباً
Fala`allaka Bākhi`un Nafsaka `Aláthārihim 'In Lam Yu'uminū Bihadhā Al-Ĥadīthi 'Asafāan (Al-Kahf: 6). Perhaps you may destroy yourself with grief, chasing after them, if they do not believe in this information. 018006 فَلَعَلَّكَ بَا‍خِ‍‍عٌ نَفْسَكَ عَلَ‍‍ى آثَا‌رِهِمْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا‌ بِهَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْحَد‍ِ‍ي‍‍ثِ ‌أَسَفاً
'Innā Ja`alnā Mā `Alá Al-'Arđi Zīnatan Lahā Linabluwahum 'Ayyuhum 'Aĥsanu `Amalāan (Al-Kahf: 7). We made what is upon the earth an ornament for it, to test them as to which of them is best in conduct. 018007 إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ جَعَلْنَا‌ مَا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌زِينَة ً‌ لَهَا‌ لِنَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُوَهُمْ ‌أَيُّهُمْ ‌أَحْسَنُ عَمَلاً
Wa 'Innā Lajā`ilūna Mā `Alayhā Şa`īdāan Juruan (Al-Kahf: 8). And We will turn what is on it into barren waste. 018008 وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَجَاعِل‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَا‌ عَلَيْهَا‌ صَ‍‍عِيد‌اً جُرُ‌ز‌اً
'Am Ĥasibta 'Anna 'Aşĥāba Al-Kahfi Wa Ar-Raqīmi Kānū Min 'Āyātinā `Ajabāan (Al-Kahf: 9). Did you know that the People of the Cave and the Inscription were of Our wondrous signs? 018009 أَمْ حَسِ‍‍بْ‍‍تَ ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َابَ ‌الْكَهْفِ ‌وَ‌ال‍رَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍مِ كَانُوا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌آيَاتِنَا‌ عَجَباً
'Idh 'Awá Al-Fityatu 'Ilá Al-Kahfi Faqālū Rabbanā 'Ātinā Min Ladunka Raĥmatan Wa Hayyi' Lanā Min 'Amrinā Rashadāan (Al-Kahf: 10). When the youths took shelter in the cave, they said, "Our Lord, give us mercy from Yourself, and bless our affair with guidance."‌ 018010 إِ‌ذْ أَ‌وَ‌ى‌ ‌الْفِتْيَةُ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الْكَهْفِ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُوا‌ رَبَّنَ‍‍ا آتِنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَدُ‌نْ‍‍كَ رَحْمَةً ‌وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا‌ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَمْ‍‍رِنَا ‍رَشَد‌اً
Fađarabnā `Aládhānihim Al-Kahfi Sinīna `Adadāan (Al-Kahf: 11). Then We sealed their ears in the cave for a number of years. 018011 فَ‍ضَ‍رَبْ‍‍نَا‌ عَلَ‍‍ى آ‌ذَ‌انِهِمْ فِي ‌الْكَهْفِ سِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عَدَ‌د‌اً
Thumma Ba`athnāhum Lina`lama 'Ayyu Al-Ĥizbayni 'Aĥşá Limā Labithū 'Amadāan (Al-Kahf: 12). Then We awakened them to know which of the two groups could better calculate the length of their stay. 018012 ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ بَعَثْنَاهُمْ لِنَعْلَمَ ‌أَيُّ ‌الْحِزْبَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ‌أَحْ‍‍صَ‍‍ى‌ لِمَا‌ لَبِثُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَمَد‌اً
Naĥnu Naquşşu `Alayka Naba'ahum Bil-Ĥaqqi ۚ 'Innahum Fityatun 'Āmanū Birabbihim Wa Zidnāhum Hudan (Al-Kahf: 13). We relate to you their story in truth. They were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance. 018013 نَحْنُ نَ‍‍قُ‍‍صُّ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ نَبَأَهُمْ بِ‍‍الْحَ‍‍قِّ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ فِتْيَةٌ ‌آمَنُوا‌ بِ‍رَبِّهِمْ ‌وَ‌زِ‌دْنَاهُمْ هُ‍‍د‌ىً
Wa Rabaţnā `Alá Qulūbihim 'Idh Qāmū Faqālū Rabbunā Rabbu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Lan Nad`uwa Min Dūnihi 'Ilahāan ۖ Laqad Qulnā 'Idhāan Shaţaţāan (Al-Kahf: 14). And We strengthened their hearts, when they stood up and said, "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth; we will not call on any god besides Him, for then we would have spoken an outrage."‌ 018014 وَ‌‍رَبَ‍‍طْ‍‍نَا‌ عَلَى‌ قُ‍‍لُوبِهِمْ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍‍امُوا‌ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُوا‌ رَبُّنَا ‍رَبُّ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَ‍‍دْعُوَ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ ‌إِلَهاً ۖ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْقُ‍‍لْنَ‍‍ا إِ‌ذ‌اً شَ‍‍طَ‍‍ط‍‍اً
Hā'uulā' Qawmunā Attakhadhū Min Dūnihi 'Ālihatan ۖ Lawlā Ya'tūna `Alayhim Bisulţānin Bayyinin ۖ Faman 'Ažlamu Mimmani Aftará `Alá Allāhi Kadhibāan (Al-Kahf: 15). "These people, our people, have taken to themselves gods other than Him. Why do they not bring a clear proof concerning them? Who, then, does greater wrong than he who invents lies and attributes them to God?"‌ 018015 ه‍‍َا‌ؤُلاَ‌ءِ‌ قَ‍‍وْمُنَا‌ ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذُ‌وا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ ‌آلِهَة ًۖ لَوْلاَ‌ يَأْت‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِسُلْ‍‍طَ‍انٍ بَيِّنٍ ۖ فَمَ‍‌نْ ‌أَظْ‍‍لَمُ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍نِ ‌افْتَ‍رَ‌ى‌ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ كَذِباً
Wa 'Idh A`tazaltumūhum Wa Mā Ya`budūna 'Illā Al-Laha Fa' 'Ilá Al-Kahfi Yanshur Lakum Rabbukum Min Raĥmatihi Wa Yuhayyi' Lakum Min 'Amrikum Mirfaqāan (Al-Kahf: 16). "Now that you have withdrawn from them, and from what they worship besides God, take shelter in the cave. And your Lord will unfold His mercy for you, and will set your affair towards ease."‌ 018016 وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ ‌اعْتَزَلْتُمُوهُمْ ‌وَمَا‌ يَعْبُد‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌إِلاَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ فَأْ‌وُ‌وا‌ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الْكَهْفِ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍شُرْ‌ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ رَحْمَتِهِ ‌وَيُهَيِّئْ لَكُمْ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَمْ‍‍رِكُمْ مِ‍‍رفَ‍‍ق‍‍اً
Wa Tará Ash-Shamsa 'Idhā Ţala`at Tazāwaru `An Kahfihim Dhāta Al-Yamīni Wa 'Idhā Gharabat Taqriđuhum Dhāta Ash-Shimāli Wa Hum Fī Fajwatin Minhu ۚ Dhālika Min 'Āyāti Allāhi ۗ Man Yahdi Allāhu Fahuwa Al-Muhtadi ۖ Wa Man Yuđlil Falan Tajida Lahu Walīan Murshidāan (Al-Kahf: 17). You would have seen the sun, when it rose, veering away from their cave towards the right, and when it sets, moving away from them to the left, as they lay in the midst of the cave. That was one of God's wonders. He whom God guides is truly guided; but he whom He misguides, for him you will find no directing friend. 018017 وَتَ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسَ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ طَ‍‍لَعَتْ تَزَ‌ا‌وَ‌رُ‌ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كَهْفِهِمْ ‌ذ‍َ‍‌اتَ ‌الْيَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نِ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ غَ‍رَبَتْ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍رِ‍ضُ‍‍هُمْ ‌ذ‍َ‍‌اتَ ‌ال‍‍شِّم‍‍َالِ ‌وَهُمْ فِي فَ‍‍جْ‍‍وَةٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌آي‍‍َاتِ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ۗ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَهْدِ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ فَهُوَ ‌الْمُهْتَدِ‌ ۖ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِلْ فَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَجِدَ‌ لَهُ ‌وَلِيّاً مُرْشِد‌اً
Wa Taĥsabuhum 'Ayqāžāan Wa Hum Ruqūdun ۚ Wa Nuqallibuhum Dhāta Al-Yamīni Wa Dhāta Ash-Shimāli ۖ Wa Kalbuhum Bāsiţun Dhi`ayhi Bil-Waşīdi ۚ Lawi Aţţala`ta `Alayhim Lawallayta Minhum Fian Wa Lamuli'ta Minhum Ru`bāan (Al-Kahf: 18). You would think them awake, although they were asleep. And We turned them over to the right, and to the left, with their dog stretching its paws across the threshold. Had you looked at them, you would have turned away from them in flight, and been filled with fear of them. 018018 وَتَحْسَبُهُمْ ‌أَيْ‍‍قَ‍‍اظ‍‍اً ‌وَهُمْ ‌رُقُ‍‍و‌دٌ ۚ ‌وَنُ‍‍قَ‍‍لِّبُهُمْ ‌ذ‍َ‍‌اتَ ‌الْيَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نِ ‌وَ‌ذ‍َ‍‌اتَ ‌ال‍‍شِّم‍‍َالِ ۖ ‌وَكَلْبُهُمْ بَاسِ‍‍ط‌‍ٌ ذِ‌‍رَ‌اعَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ بِ‍‍الْوَ‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍دِ‌ ۚ لَوِ‌ ‌اطَّ‍‍لَعْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَوَلَّ‍‍يْ‍‍تَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ فِ‍رَ‌ا‌ر‌اً ‌وَلَمُلِئْتَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌رُعْباً
Wa Kadhalika Ba`athnāhum Liyatasā'alū Baynahum ۚ Qāla Qā'ilun Minhum Kam Labithtum ۖ Qālū Labithnā Yawmāan 'Aw Ba`đa Yawmin ۚ Qālū Rabbukum 'A`lamu Bimā Labithtumb`athū 'Aĥadakum Biwariqikum Hadhihi 'Ilá Al-Madīnati Falyanžur 'Ayyuhā 'Azká Ţa`āmāan Falya'tikum Birizqin Minhu Wa Lyatalaţţaf Wa Lā Yush`iranna Bikum 'Aĥadāan (Al-Kahf: 19). Even so, We awakened them, so that they may ask one another. A speaker among them said, "How long have you stayed?"‌ They said, "We have stayed a day, or part of a day."‌ They said, "Your Lord knows best how long you have stayed."‌ "Send one of you to the city, with this money of yours, and let him see which food is most suitable, and let him bring you some provision thereof. And let him be gentle, and let no one become aware of you."‌ 018019 وَكَذَلِكَ بَعَثْنَاهُمْ لِيَتَس‍‍َا‌ءَلُوا‌ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ قَ‍الَ قَ‍‍ائِلٌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ ۖ قَ‍‍الُوا‌ لَبِثْنَا‌ يَوْماً أَ‌وْ‌ بَعْ‍‍ضَ يَ‍‍وْمٍ ۚ قَ‍‍الُوا‌ رَبُّكُمْ ‌أَعْلَمُ بِمَا‌ لَبِثْتُمْ فَابْ‍‍عَثُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَحَدَكُمْ بِوَ‌رِ‍قِ‍‍كُمْ هَذِهِ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الْمَدِينَةِ فَلْيَ‍‌‍ن‍‍ظُ‍‍رْ أَيُّهَ‍‍ا أَ‌زْكَى‌ طَ‍‍عَاماً فَلْيَأْتِكُمْ بِ‍‍رِ‌زْقٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌وَلْيَتَلَ‍‍طَّ‍‍فْ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُشْعِ‍رَنَّ بِكُمْ ‌أَحَد‌اً
'Innahum 'In Yažharū `Alaykum Yarjumūkum 'Aw Yu`īdūkum Fī Millatihim Wa Lan Tufliĥū 'Idhāan 'Abadāan (Al-Kahf: 20). "If they discover you, they will stone you, or force you back into their religion; then you will never be saved."‌ 018020 إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍هَرُ‌وا‌ عَلَيْكُمْ يَرْجُمُوكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يُعِيدُ‌وكُمْ فِي مِلَّتِهِمْ ‌وَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تُفْلِحُ‍‍وا‌ ‌إِ‌ذ‌اً أَبَد‌اً
Wa Kadhalika 'A`tharnā `Alayhim Liya`lamū 'Anna Wa`da Allāhi Ĥaqqun Wa 'Anna As-Sā`ata Lā Rayba Fīhā 'Idh Yatanāza`ūna Baynahum 'Amrahum ۖ Faqālū Abnū `Alayhim Bunyānāan ۖ Rabbuhum 'A`lamu Bihim ۚ Qāla Al-Ladhīna Ghalabū `Alá 'Amrihim Lanattakhidhanna `Alayhim Masjidāan (Al-Kahf: 21). So it was, that We caused them to be discovered, that they would know that the promise of God is true, and that of the Hour there is no doubt. As they were disputing their case among themselves, they said, "Build over them a building."‌ Their Lord knows best about them. Those who prevailed over their case said, "We will set up over them a place of worship."‌ 018021 وَكَذَلِكَ ‌أَعْثَرْنَا‌ عَلَيْهِمْ لِيَعْلَمُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌وَعْدَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ حَ‍‍قٌّ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةَ لاَ ‍رَيْ‍‍بَ فِيهَ‍‍ا إِ‌ذْ‌ يَتَنَا‌زَع‍‍ُ‍ونَ بَيْنَهُمْ ‌أَمْ‍رَهُمْ ۖ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُوا‌ ‌ابْ‍‍نُوا‌ عَلَيْهِمْ بُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍يَاناً ۖ رَبُّهُمْ ‌أَعْلَمُ بِهِمْ ۚ قَ‍الَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ غَ‍‍لَبُوا‌ عَلَ‍‍ى أَمْ‍‍رِهِمْ لَنَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ مَسْجِد‌اً
Sayaqūlūna Thalāthatun bi`uhum Kalbuhum Wa Yaqūlūna Khamsatun Sādisuhum Kalbuhum Rajmāan Bil-Ghaybi ۖ Wa Yaqūlūna Sab`atun Wa Thāminuhum Kalbuhum ۚ Qul Rabbī 'A`lamu Bi`iddatihim Mā Ya`lamuhum 'Illā Qalīlun ۗ Falā Tumāri Fīhim 'Illā Mirā'an Žāhian Wa Lā Tastafti Fīhim Minhum 'Aĥadāan (Al-Kahf: 22). They will say, "Three, and their fourth being their dog."‌ And they will say, "Five, and their sixth being their dog,"‌ guessing at the unknown. And they will say, "Seven, and their eighth being their dog."‌ Say, "My Lord knows best their number."‌ None knows them except a few. So do not argue concerning them except with an obvious argument, and do not consult any of them about them. 018022 سَيَ‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ ثَلاَثَة ٌ رَ‌ابِعُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ ‌وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ خَ‍‍مْسَةٌ سَا‌دِسُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ رَجْ‍‍ماً بِ‍‍الْ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍بِ ۖ ‌وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ سَ‍‍بْ‍‍عَةٌ ‌وَثَامِنُهُمْ كَلْبُهُمْ ۚ قُ‍‍لْ رَبِّ‍‍ي ‌أَعْلَمُ بِعِدَّتِهِمْ مَا‌ يَعْلَمُهُمْ ‌إِلاَّ قَ‍‍ل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لٌ ۗ فَلاَ‌ تُم‍‍َا‌رِ فِيهِمْ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مِر‍َ‌اءً ظَ‍‍اهِ‍‍ر‌اً ‌وَلاَ‌ تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌أَحَد‌اً
Wa Lā Taqūlanna Lishay'in 'Innī Fā`ilun Dhālika Ghadāan (Al-Kahf: 23). And never say about anything, "I will do that tomorrow."‌ 018023 وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولَ‍‍نّ‌َ لِشَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي فَاعِلٌ ‌ذَلِكَ غَ‍‍د‌اً
'Illā 'An Yashā'a Allāhu ۚ Wa Adhkur Rabbaka 'Idhā Nasīta Wa Qul `Asá 'An Yahdiyani Rabbī Li'qraba Min Hādhā Rashadāan (Al-Kahf: 24). Without saying, "If God wills."‌ And remember your Lord if you forget, and say, "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to nearer than this in integrity."‌ 018024 إِلاَّ أَ‌ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ۚ ‌وَ‌ا‌ذْكُرْ ‍رَبَّكَ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ نَس‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍تَ ‌وَقُ‍‍لْ عَسَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‌ْ يَهْدِيَنِ رَبِّي لِأ‍قْ‍رَبَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ هَذَ‌ا ‍رَشَد‌اً
Wa Labithū Fī Kahfihim Thalātha Miā'atin Sinīna Wa Azdādū Tis`āan (Al-Kahf: 25). And they stayed in their cave for three hundred years, adding nine. 018025 وَلَبِثُوا‌ فِي كَهْفِهِمْ ثَلاَثَ مِائَةٍ سِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَ‌ا‌زْ‌دَ‌ا‌دُ‌وا‌ تِسْعاً
Quli Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Labithū ۖ Lahu Ghaybu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۖ 'Abşir Bihi Wa 'Asmi` ۚ Mā Lahum Min Dūnihi Min Wa Līyin Wa Lā Yushriku Fī Ĥukmihi 'Aĥadāan (Al-Kahf: 26). Say, "God knows best how long they stayed."‌ His is the mystery of the heavens and the earth. By Him you see and hear. They have no guardian apart from Him, and He shares His Sovereignty with no one. 018026 قُ‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَعْلَمُ بِمَا‌ لَبِثُوا‌ ۖ لَهُ غَ‍‍يْ‍‍بُ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ۖ ‌أَبْ‍‍صِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ بِهِ ‌وَ‌أَسْمِعْ ۚ مَا‌ لَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وَلِيٍّ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُشْ‍‍رِكُ فِي حُكْمِهِ ‌أَحَد‌اً
Wa Atlu Mā 'Ūĥiya 'Ilayka Min Kitābi Rabbika ۖ Lā Mubaddila Likalimātihi Wa Lan Tajida Min Dūnihi Multaĥadāan (Al-Kahf: 27). And recite what was revealed to you from the Book of your Lord. There is no changing His words, and you will find no refuge except in Him. 018027 وَ‌اتْلُ مَ‍‍ا أ‍ُ‍‌وحِيَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كِت‍‍َابِ رَبِّكَ ۖ لاَ‌ مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِهِ ‌وَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَجِدَ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ مُلْتَحَد‌اً
Wa Aşbir Nafsaka Ma`a Al-Ladhīna Yad`ūna Rabbahum Bil-Ghadāati Wa Al-`Ashīyi Yurīdūna Wajhahu Wa Lā ۖ Ta`du `Aynāka `Anhum Turīdu Zīnata Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Lā ۖ Tuţi` Man 'Aghfalnā Qalbahu `An Dhikrinā Wa Attaba`a Hawāhu Wa Kāna 'Amruhu Furuţāan (Al-Kahf: 28). And content yourself with those who pray to their Lord morning and evening, desiring His Presence. And do not turn your eyes away from them, desiring the glitter of this world. And do not obey him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance"”so he follows his own desires"”and his priorities are confused. 018028 وَ‌ا‍صْ‍‍بِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ رَبَّهُمْ بِ‍‍الْ‍‍غَ‍‍د‍َ‍‌اةِ ‌وَ‌الْعَشِيِّ يُ‍‍رِيد‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌وَجْ‍‍هَهُ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَعْدُ‌ عَيْن‍‍َاكَ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ تُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ زِينَةَ ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ تُ‍‍طِ‍‍عْ مَ‍‌نْ ‌أَغْ‍‍فَلْنَا‌ قَ‍‍لْبَهُ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذِكْ‍‍رِنَا وَ‌اتَّبَعَ هَو‍َ‍‌اهُ ‌وَك‍‍َانَ ‌أَمْرُهُ فُرُط‍‍اً
Wa Quli Al-Ĥaqqu Min Rabbikum ۖ Faman Shā'a Falyu'umin Wa Man Shā'a Falyakfur ۚ 'Innā 'A`tadnā Lilžžālimīna Nāan 'Aĥāţa Bihim Sudiquhā ۚ Wa 'In Yastaghīthū Yughāthū Bimā'in Kālmuhli Yash Al-Wujūha ۚ Bi'sa Ash-Sharābu Wa Sā'at Murtafaqāan (Al-Kahf: 29). And say, "The truth is from your Lord. Whoever wills"”let him believe. And whoever wills"”let him disbelieve"‌. We have prepared for the unjust a Fire, whose curtains will hem them in. And when they cry for relief, they will be relieved with water like molten brass, which scalds the faces. What a miserable drink, and what a terrible place. 018029 وَ‍قُ‍‍لِ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ش‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ فَلْيُؤْمِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ش‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ فَلْيَكْفُرْ‌ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا أَعْتَ‍‍دْنَا‌ لِل‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ نَا‌ر‌اً أَح‍‍َاطَ بِهِمْ سُ‍رَ‌ا‌دِ‍قُ‍‍هَا‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَسْتَ‍‍غِ‍‍يثُوا‌ يُ‍‍غَ‍‍اثُوا‌ بِم‍‍َا‌ء‌‌ٍ كَالْمُهْلِ يَشْوِي ‌الْوُج‍‍ُ‍وهَ ۚ بِئْسَ ‌ال‍‍شَّ‍رَ‍‌ابُ ‌وَس‍‍َا‌ءَتْ مُرْتَفَ‍‍ق‍‍اً
'Inna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti 'Innā Lā Nuđī`u 'Ajra Man 'Aĥsana `Amalāan (Al-Kahf: 30). As for those who believe and lead a righteous life"”We will not waste the reward of those who work righteousness. 018030 إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا‌ ‌وَعَمِلُوا‌ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لاَ‌ نُ‍‍ضِ‍‍ي‍‍عُ ‌أَجْ‍رَ‌ مَ‍‌نْ ‌أَحْسَنَ عَمَلاً
'Ūlā'ika Lahum Jannātu `Adnin Tajrī Min Taĥtihimu Al-'Anhāru Yuĥallawna Fīhā Min 'Asāwira Min Dhahabin Wa Yalbasūna Thiyābāan Khan Min Sundusin Wa 'Istabraqin Muttaki'īna Fīhā `Alá Al-'Arā'iki ۚ Ni`ma Ath-Thawābu Wa Ĥasunat Murtafaqāan (Al-Kahf: 31). These will have the Gardens of Eden, beneath which rivers flow. Reclining on comfortable furnishings, they will be adorned with bracelets of gold, and will wear green garments of silk and brocade. What a wonderful reward, and what an excellent resting-place. 018031 أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ لَهُمْ جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتُ عَ‍‍دْنٍ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَحْتِهِمُ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رُ‌ يُحَلَّ‍‍وْنَ فِيهَا‌ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَسَا‌وِ‌رَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذَهَبٍ ‌وَيَلْبَس‍‍ُ‍ونَ ثِيَاباً‌ خُ‍‍ضْ‍‍ر‌اً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سُ‍‌‍ن‍‍دُسٍ ‌وَ‌إِسْتَ‍‍بْ‍رَقٍ مُتَّكِئ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِيهَا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الأَ‌ر‍َ‍‌ائِكِ ۚ نِعْمَ ‌ال‍‍ثَّو‍َ‍‌ابُ ‌وَحَسُنَتْ مُرْتَفَ‍‍ق‍‍اً
Wa Ađrib Lahum Mathalāan Rajulayni Ja`alnā Li'ĥadihimā Jannatayni Min 'A`nābin Wa Ĥafafnāhumā Binakhlin Wa Ja`alnā Baynahumā Zar`āan (Al-Kahf: 32). And cite for them the parable of two men. To one of them We gave two gardens of vine, and We surrounded them with palms-trees, and We placed between them crops. 018032 وَ‌ا‍ضْ‍‍رِب‌ْ لَهُمْ مَثَلاً رَجُلَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ جَعَلْنَا‌ لِأحَدِهِمَا‌ جَ‍‍نَّ‍‍تَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَعْن‍‍َابٍ ‌وَحَفَفْنَاهُمَا‌ بِنَ‍‍خْ‍‍لٍ ‌وَجَعَلْنَا‌ بَيْنَهُمَا زَ‌رْعاً
Kiltā Al-Jannatayni 'Ātat 'Ukulahā Wa Lam Tažlim Minhu Shay'āan ۚ Wa Fajjarnā Khilālahumā Nahaan (Al-Kahf: 33). Both gardens produced their harvest in full, and suffered no loss. And We made a river flow through them. 018033 كِلْتَا‌ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍تَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ‌آتَتْ ‌أُكُلَهَا وَلَمْ تَ‍‍ظْ‍‍لِمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ۚ ‌وَفَجَّرْنَا‌ خِ‍‍لاَلَهُمَا‌ نَهَر‌اً
Wa Kāna Lahu Thamarun Faqāla Lişāĥibihi Wa Huwa Yuĥāwiruhu 'Anā 'Aktharu Minka Mālāan Wa 'A`azzu Nafaan (Al-Kahf: 34). And thus he had abundant fruits. He said to his friend, as he conversed with him, "I am wealthier than you, and greater in manpower."‌ 018034 وَك‍‍َانَ لَهُ ثَمَرٌ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍الَ لِ‍‍صَ‍‍احِبِهِ ‌وَهُوَ‌ يُحَا‌وِ‌رُهُ ‌أَنَ‍‍ا أَكْثَرُ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كَ مَالاً ‌وَ‌أَعَزُّ‌ نَفَر‌اً
Wa Dakhala Jannatahu Wa Huwa Žālimun Linafsihi Qāla Mā 'Ažunnu 'An Tabīda Hadhihi 'Abadāan (Al-Kahf: 35). And he entered his garden, wronging himself. He said, "I do not think this will ever perish."‌ 018035 وَ‌دَ‍خَ‍‍لَ جَ‍‍نَّ‍‍تَهُ ‌وَهُوَ ظَ‍‍الِم ٌ لِنَفْسِهِ قَ‍الَ مَ‍‍ا أَظُ‍‍نُّ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍دَ‌ هَذِهِ ‌أَبَد‌اً
Wa Mā 'Ažunnu As-Sā`ata Qā'imatan Wa La'in Rudidtu 'Ilá Rabbī La'ajidanna Khayan Minhā Munqalabāan (Al-Kahf: 36). "And I do not think the Hour is coming. And even if I am returned to my Lord, I will find something better than this in return."‌ 018036 وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‍ظُ‍‍نُّ ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةَ قَ‍‍ائِمَةً ‌وَلَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌رُ‌دِ‌دْتُ ‌إِلَى ‍رَبِّي لَأَجِدَنّ‌َ خَ‍‍يْر‌اً مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ مُ‍‌‍ن‍‍قَ‍‍لَباً
Qāla Lahu Şāĥibuhu Wa Huwa Yuĥāwiruhu 'Akafarta Bial-Ladhī Khalaqaka Min Turābin Thumma Min Nuţfatin Thumma Sawwāka Rajulāan (Al-Kahf: 37). His friend said to him, as he conversed with him, "Are you being ungrateful to Him who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then evolved you into a man? 018037 قَ‍الَ لَهُ صَ‍‍احِبُهُ ‌وَهُوَ‌ يُحَا‌وِ‌رُهُ ‌أَكَفَرْتَ بِ‍‍الَّذِي خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ‍‍كَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تُ‍رَ‍‌ابٍ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نُ‍‍طْ‍‍فَةٍ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ سَوّ‍َ‍‌اكَ رَجُلاً
Lakinnā Huwa Allāhu Rabbī Wa Lā 'Ushriku Birabbī 'Aĥadāan (Al-Kahf: 38). But as for me, He is God, my Lord, and I never associate with my Lord anyone. 018038 لَكِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ هُوَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ رَبِّي ‌وَلاَ أُشْ‍‍رِكُ بِ‍رَبِّ‍‍ي ‌أَحَد‌اً
Wa Lawlā 'Idh Dakhalta Jannataka Qulta Mā Shā'a Allāhu Lā Qūwata 'Illā Billāhi ۚ 'In Tarani 'Anā 'Aqalla Minka Mālāan Wa Waladāan (Al-Kahf: 39). When you entered your garden, why did you not say, "As God wills; there is no power except through God"‌? Although you see me inferior to you in wealth and children. 018039 وَلَوْلاَ إِ‌ذْ دَ‍خَ‍‍لْتَ جَ‍‍نَّ‍‍تَكَ قُ‍‍لْتَ مَا‌ ش‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ لاَ قُ‍‍وَّةَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بِ‍‍ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ۚ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تَ‍رَنِ ‌أَنَ‍‍ا أَقَ‍‍لَّ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كَ مَالاً ‌وَ‌وَلَد‌اً
Fa`asá Rabbī 'An Yu'utiyanī Khayan Min Jannatika Wa Yursila `Alayhā Ĥusbānāan Mina As-Samā'i Fatuşbiĥa Şa`īdāan Zalaqāan (Al-Kahf: 40). Perhaps my Lord will give me something better than your garden, and release upon it thunderbolts from the sky, so it becomes barren waste. 018040 فَعَسَى ‍رَبِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُؤْتِيَنِي خَ‍‍يْر‌اً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ جَ‍‍نَّ‍‍تِكَ ‌وَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهَا‌ حُسْبَاناً مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ فَتُ‍‍صْ‍‍بِحَ صَ‍‍عِيد‌اً ‌زَلَ‍‍ق‍‍اً
'Aw Yuşbiĥa Mā'uuhā Ghawan Falan Tastaţī`a Lahu Ţalabāan (Al-Kahf: 41). Or its water will sink into the ground, and you will be unable to draw it."‌ 018041 أَ‌وْ‌ يُ‍‍صْ‍‍بِحَ م‍‍َا‌ؤُهَا‌ غَ‍‍وْ‌ر‌اً فَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍ي‍‍عَ لَهُ طَ‍‍لَباً
Wa 'Uĥīţa Bithamarihi Fa'aşbaĥa Yuqallibu Kaffayhi `Alá Mā 'Anfaqa Fīhā Wa Hiya Khāwiyatun `Alá `Urūshihā Wa Yaqūlu Yā Laytanī Lam 'Ushrik Birabbī 'Aĥadāan (Al-Kahf: 42). And ruin closed in on his crops, and so he began wringing his hands over what he had invested in it, as it lays fallen upon its trellises. And he was saying, "I wish I never associated anyone with my Lord."‌ 018042 وَ‌أُح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍طَ بِثَمَ‍‍رِهِ فَأَ‍صْ‍‍بَحَ يُ‍‍قَ‍‍لِّبُ كَفَّ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ عَلَى‌ مَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‍‍فَ‍‍قَ فِيهَا وَهِيَ خَ‍‍ا‌وِيَةٌ عَلَى‌ عُرُ‌وشِهَا وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ يَالَيْتَنِي لَمْ ‌أُشْ‍‍رِكْ بِ‍رَبِّ‍‍ي ‌أَحَد‌اً
Wa Lam Takun Lahu Fi'atun Yanşurūnahu Min Dūni Allāhi Wa Mā Kāna Muntaşian (Al-Kahf: 43). He had no faction to help him besides God, and he was helpless. 018043 وَلَمْ تَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَهُ فِئَةٌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍صُ‍‍رُ‌ونَهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ مُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ‍‍صِ‍‍ر‌اً
Hunālika Al-Walāyatu Lillāh Al-Ĥaqqi ۚ Huwa Khayrun Thawābāan Wa Khayrun `Uqan (Al-Kahf: 44). That is because authority belongs to God, the True. He is Best in rewarding, and Best in requiting. 018044 هُنَالِكَ ‌الْوَلاَيَةُ لِ‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ ۚ هُوَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ ثَوَ‌اباً ‌وَ‍خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ‌ عُ‍‍قْ‍‍باً
Wa Ađrib Lahum Mathala Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Kamā'in 'Anzalnāhu Mina As-Samā'i Fākhtalaţa Bihi Nabātu Al-'Arđi Fa'aşbaĥa Hashīmāan Tadhrūhu Ar-Riyāĥu ۗ Wa Kāna Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Muqtadian (Al-Kahf: 45). And cite for them the parable of the present life: it is like water that We send down from the sky; the plants of the earth absorb it; but then it becomes debris, scattered by the wind. God has absolute power over everything. 018045 وَ‌ا‍ضْ‍‍رِب‌ْ لَهُمْ مَثَلَ ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ كَم‍‍َا‌ءٍ أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْن‍‍َاهُ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ فَاخْ‍‍تَلَ‍‍طَ بِهِ نَب‍‍َاتُ ‌الأَ‌رْضِ فَأَ‍صْ‍‍بَحَ هَشِيماً تَذْ‌ر‍ُ‍‌وهُ ‌ال‍‍رِّي‍‍َاحُ ۗ ‌وَك‍‍َانَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌ٍ مُ‍‍قْ‍‍تَدِ‌ر‌اً
Al-Mālu Wa Al-Banūna Zīnatu Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunۖ Wa Al-Bāqiyātu Aş-Şāliĥātu Khayrun `Inda Rabbika Thawābāan Wa Khayrun 'Amalāan (Al-Kahf: 46). Wealth and children are the adornments of the present life. But the things that last, the virtuous deeds, are better with your Lord for reward, and better for hope. 018046 ‌الْم‍‍َالُ ‌وَ‌الْبَن‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌زِينَةُ ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌الْبَا‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍َاتُ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتُ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‍رَبِّكَ ثَوَ‌اباً ‌وَ‍خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ أَمَلاً
Wa Yawma Nusayyiru Al-Jibāla Wa Tará Al-'Arđa Bārizatan Wa Ĥasharnāhum Falam Nughādir Minhum 'Aĥadāan (Al-Kahf: 47). On the Day when We set the mountains in motion; and you see the earth emerging; and We gather them together, and leave none of them behind. 018047 وَيَ‍‍وْمَ نُسَيِّ‍‍رُ‌الْجِب‍‍َالَ ‌وَتَ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌الأَ‌رْضَ بَا‌رِ‌زَةً ‌وَحَشَرْنَاهُمْ فَلَمْ نُ‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌دِ‌ر‍‍ْ‍‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌أَحَد‌اً
Wa `Uriđū `Alá Rabbika Şaffāan Laqad Ji'tumūnā Kamā Khalaqnākum 'Awwala Marratin ۚ Bal Za`amtum 'Allan Naj`ala Lakum Maw`idāan (Al-Kahf: 48). They will be presented before your Lord in a row. "You have come to Us as We created you the first time. Although you claimed We would not set a meeting for you."‌ 018048 وَعُ‍‍رِ‍ضُ‍‍وا‌ عَلَى ‍رَبِّكَ صَ‍‍فّاً لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ جِئْتُمُونَا‌ كَمَا‌ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قْ‍‍نَاكُمْ ‌أَ‌وَّلَ مَ‍رَّةٍ ۚ بَلْ ‌زَعَمْتُمْ ‌أَلَّ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلَ لَكُمْ مَوْعِد‌اً
Wa Wuđi`a Al-Kitābu Fatará Al-Mujrimīna Mushfiqīna Mimmā Fīhi Wa Yaqūlūna Yā Waylatanā Māli Hādhā Al-Kitābi Lā Yughādiru Şaghīratan Wa Lā Kabīratan 'Illā 'Aĥşāhā ۚ Wa Wajadū Mā `Amilū Ĥāđian ۗ Wa Lā Yažlimu Rabbuka 'Aĥadāan (Al-Kahf: 49). And the book will be placed, and you will see the sinners fearful of its contents. And they will say, "Woe to us! What is with this book that leaves nothing, small or big, but it has enumerated it?"‌ They will find everything they had done present. Your Lord does not wrong anyone. 018049 وَ‌وُ‍ضِ‍‍عَ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابُ فَتَ‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌الْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مُشْفِ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ يَا‌وَيْلَتَنَا‌ م‍‍َالِ هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌دِ‌رُصَ‍‍غِ‍‍ي‍رَةً ‌وَلاَ‌ كَبِي‍رَةً ‌إِلاَّ أَحْ‍‍صَ‍‍اهَا‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌وَجَدُ‌وا‌ مَا‌ عَمِلُوا‌ حَاضِ‍‍ر‌اً ۗ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍لِمُ رَبُّكَ ‌أَحَد‌اً
Wa 'Idh Qulnā Lilmalā'ikati Asjudū Li'dama Fasajadū 'Illā 'Iblīsa Kāna Mina Al-Jinni Fafasaqa `An 'Amri Rabbihi ۗ 'Afatattakhidhūnahu Wa Dhurrīyatahu 'Awliyā'a Min Dūnī Wa Hum Lakum `Adūwun ۚ Bi'sa Lilžžālimīna Badalāan (Al-Kahf: 50). We said to the angels, "Bow down to Adam."‌ So they bowed down, except for Satan. He was of the jinn, and he defied the command of his Lord. Will you take him and his offspring as lords instead of Me, when they are an enemy to you? Evil is the exchange for the wrongdoers. 018050 وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قُ‍‍لْنَا‌ لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ ‌اسْجُدُ‌وا‌ لِأ‌دَمَ فَسَجَدُ‌وا‌ ‌إِلاَّ إِبْ‍‍ل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍سَ ك‍‍َانَ مِنَ ‌الْجِ‍‍نِّ فَفَسَ‍‍قَ عَ‍‌نْ ‌أَمْ‍‍رِ رَبِّهِ ۗ ‌أَفَتَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذُ‌ونَهُ ‌وَ‌ذُ‌رِّيَّتَهُ ‌أَ‌وْلِي‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِي ‌وَهُمْ لَكُمْ عَدُ‌وٌّ ۚ بِئْسَ لِل‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ بَدَلاً
Mā 'Ash/hadtuhum Khalqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Lā Khalqa 'Anfusihim Wa Mā Kuntu Muttakhidha Al-Muđillīna `Ađudāan (Al-Kahf: 51). I did not call them to witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor their own creation; and I do not take the misleaders for assistants. 018051 مَ‍‍ا أَشْهَ‍‍دْتُهُمْ خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَلاَ خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قَ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسِهِمْ ‌وَمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُ مُتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذَ ‌الْمُ‍‍ضِ‍‍لّ‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عَ‍‍ضُ‍‍د‌اً
Wa Yawma Yaqūlu Nādū Shurakā'iya Al-Ladhīna Za`amtum Fada`awhum Falam Yastajībū Lahum Wa Ja`alnā Baynahum Mawbiqāan (Al-Kahf: 52). On the Day when He will say, "Call on My partners whom you have claimed."‌ They will call on them, but they will not answer them. And We will place between them a barrier. 018052 وَيَ‍‍وْمَ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ نَا‌دُ‌وا‌ شُ‍رَك‍‍َائ‍‍ِ‍‍يَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌زَعَمْتُمْ فَدَعَوْهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا‌ لَهُمْ ‌وَجَعَلْنَا‌ بَيْنَهُمْ مَوْبِ‍‍ق‍‍اً
Wa Ra'á Al-Mujrimūna An-Nāra Fažannū 'Annahum Muwāqi`ūhā Wa Lam Yajidū `Anhā Maşrifāan (Al-Kahf: 53). And the sinners will see the Fire, and will realize that they will tumble into it. They will find no deliverance from it. 018053 وَ‌‍رَ‌أَ‌ى‌ ‌الْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌‍رَ‌ فَ‍‍ظَ‍‍نُّ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ مُوَ‌اقِ‍‍عُوهَا وَلَمْ يَجِدُ‌وا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ مَ‍‍صْ‍‍رِفاً
Wa Laqad Şarrafnā Fī Hādhā Al-Qur'āni Lilnnāsi Min Kulli Mathalin ۚ Wa Kāna Al-'Insānu 'Akthara Shay'in Jadalāan (Al-Kahf: 54). We have elaborated in this Quran for the people every kind of example, but the human being is a most argumentative being. 018054 وَلَ‍قَ‍‍دْصَ‍رَّفْنَا‌ فِي هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍رْ‌آنِ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ ۚ ‌وَك‍‍َانَ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانُ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَ‌ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ جَدَلاً
Wa Mā Mana`a An-Nāsa 'An Yu'uminū 'Idh Jā'ahumu Al-Hudá Wa Yastaghfirū Rabbahum 'Illā 'An Ta'tiyahum Sunnatu Al-'Awwalīna 'Aw Ya'tiyahumu Al-`Adhābu Qubulāan (Al-Kahf: 55). What prevented people from accepting faith, when guidance has come to them, and from seeking their Lord's forgiveness? Unless they are waiting for the precedent of the ancients to befall them, or to have the punishment come upon them face to face. 018055 وَمَا‌ مَنَعَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُؤْمِنُ‍‍وا‌ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَهُمُ ‌الْهُدَ‌ى وَيَسْتَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِرُ‌وا‌ رَبَّهُمْ ‌إِلاَّ أَ‌ن‌ْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ سُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةُ ‌الأَ‌وَّل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يَأْتِيَهُمُ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ قُ‍‍بُلاً
Wa Mā Nursilu Al-Mursalīna 'Illā Mubashshirīna Wa Mundhirīna ۚ Wa Yujādilu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bil-Bāţili Liyudĥiđū Bihi Al-Ĥaqqa ۖ Wa Attakhadhū 'Āyātī Wa Mā 'Undhirū Huzūan (Al-Kahf: 56). We send the messengers only as deliverers of good news and warners. Those who disbelieve argue with false argument, in order to defeat the truth thereby. They take My Verses, and the warnings, for a joke. 018056 وَمَا‌ نُرْسِلُ ‌الْمُرْسَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مُبَشِّ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَمُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذِ‌ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ۚ ‌وَيُجَا‌دِلُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا‌ بِ‍‍الْبَا‍طِ‍‍لِ لِيُ‍‍دْحِ‍‍ضُ‍‍وا‌ بِهِ ‌الْحَ‍‍قَّ ۖ ‌وَ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذُ‌وا‌ ‌آيَاتِي ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أُ‌نْ‍‍ذِ‌رُ‌وا‌ هُزُ‌‍‍و‌‍اً
Wa Man 'Ažlamu Mimman Dhukkira Bi'āyāti Rabbihi Fa'a`rađa `Anhā Wa Nasiya Mā Qaddamat Yadāhu ۚ 'Innā Ja`alnā `Alá Qulūbihim 'Akinnatan 'An Yafqahūhu Wa Fīdhānihim Waqan Wa 'In ۖ Tad`uhum 'Ilá Al-Hudá Falan Yahtadū 'Idhāan 'Abadāan (Al-Kahf: 57). Who does greater wrong than he, who, when reminded of his Lord's revelations, turns away from them, and forgets what his hands have put forward? We have placed coverings over their hearts, lest they understand it, and heaviness in their ears. And if you call them to guidance, they will not be guided, ever. 018057 وَمَ‍‌نْ ‌أَ‍ظْ‍‍لَمُ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذُكِّ‍‍رَ بِآي‍‍َاتِ رَبِّهِ فَأَعْ‍رَضَ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا وَنَسِيَ مَا‌ قَ‍‍دَّمَتْ يَد‍َ‍‌اهُ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ جَعَلْنَا‌ عَلَى‌ قُ‍‍لُوبِهِمْ ‌أَكِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةً ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَفْ‍‍قَ‍‍ه‍‍ُ‍وهُ ‌وَفِ‍‍ي ‌آ‌ذَ‌انِهِمْ ‌وَ‍قْ‍‍ر‌اً ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تَ‍‍دْعُهُمْ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الْهُدَ‌ى‌ فَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَهْتَدُ‌وا‌ ‌إِ‌ذ‌اً أَبَد‌اً
Wa Rabbuka Al-Ghafūru Dhū Ar-Raĥmati ۖ Law Yu'uākhidhuhum Bimā Kasabū La`ajjala Lahumu Al-`Adhāba ۚ Bal Lahum Maw`idun Lan Yajidū Min Dūnihi Maw'ilāan (Al-Kahf: 58). Your Lord is the Forgiver, Possessor of Mercy. Were He to call them to account for what they have earned, He would have hastened the punishment for them. But they have an appointment from which they will find no escape. 018058 وَ‌‍رَبُّكَ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌رُ ذُ‌و‌ ‌ال‍رَّحْمَةِ ۖ لَوْ‌ يُؤ‍َ‍‌اخِ‍‍ذُهُمْ بِمَا‌ كَسَبُوا‌ لَعَجَّلَ لَهُمُ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ۚ بَلْ لَهُمْ مَوْعِد‌ٌ لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَجِدُ‌وا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ مَ‍‍وْئِلاً
Wa Tilka Al-Qurá 'Ahlaknāhum Lammā Žalamū Wa Ja`alnā Limahlikihim Maw`idāan (Al-Kahf: 59). And these towns"”We destroyed them when they committed injustices, and We set for their destruction an appointed time. 018059 وَتِلْكَ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍رَ‌ى أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ لَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ظَ‍‍لَمُوا‌ ‌وَجَعَلْنَا‌ لِمَهْلِكِهِمْ مَوْعِد‌اً
Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsá Lifatāhu Lā 'Abraĥu Ĥattá 'Ablugha Majma`a Al-Baĥrayni 'Aw 'Amđiya Ĥuqubāan (Al-Kahf: 60). Recall when Moses said to his servant, "I will not give up until I reach the junction of the two rivers, even if it takes me years."‌ 018060 وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ مُوسَى‌ لِفَت‍‍َاهُ لاَ أَبْ‍رَحُ حَتَّ‍‍ى أَبْ‍‍لُ‍‍غَ مَ‍‍جْ‍‍مَعَ ‌الْبَحْ‍رَيْ‍‍نِ ‌أَ‌وْ أَمْ‍‍ضِ‍‍يَ حُ‍‍قُ‍‍باً
Falammā Balaghā Majma`a Baynihimā Nasiyā Ĥūtahumā Fa Attakhadha Sabīlahu Fī Al-Baĥri Saraan (Al-Kahf: 61). Then, when they reached the junction between them, they forgot about their fish. It found its way into the river, slipping away. 018061 فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ بَلَ‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌ مَ‍‍جْ‍‍مَعَ بَيْنِهِمَا‌ نَسِيَا‌ حُوتَهُمَا‌ فَاتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَ‌ سَبِيلَهُ فِي ‌الْبَحْ‍‍رِ سَ‍رَباً
Falammā Jāwazā Qāla Lifatāhu 'Ātinā Ghadā'anā Laqad Laqīnā Min Safarinā Hādhā Naşabāan (Al-Kahf: 62). When they went further, he said to his servant, "Bring us our lunch; we were exposed in our travel to much fatigue."‌ 018062 فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ جَا‌وَ‌زَ‌ا‌ قَ‍الَ لِفَت‍‍َاهُ ‌آتِنَا‌ غَ‍‍د‍َ‌اءَنَا‌ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ لَ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سَفَ‍‍رِنَا‌ هَذَ‌ا‌ نَ‍‍صَ‍‍باً
Qāla 'Ara'ayta 'Idh 'Awaynā 'Ilá Aş-Şakhrati Fa'innī Nasītu Al-Ĥūta Wa Mā 'Ansānīhu 'Illā Ash-Shayţānu 'An 'Adhkurahu ۚ Wa Attakhadha Sabīlahu Fī Al-Baĥri `Ajabāan (Al-Kahf: 63). He said, "Do you remember when we rested by the rock? I forgot about the fish. It was only the devil who made me forget it. And so it found its way to the river, amazingly."‌ 018063 قَ‍الَ ‌أَ‌‍رَ‌أَيْ‍‍تَ ‌إِ‌ذْ أَ‌وَيْنَ‍‍ا إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍خْ‍رَةِ فَإِنِّ‍‍ي نَس‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍تُ ‌الْح‍‍ُ‍وتَ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍سَان‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هُ ‌إِلاَّ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌ذْكُ‍رَهُ ۚ ‌وَ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَ‌ سَبِيلَهُ فِي ‌الْبَحْ‍‍رِ عَجَباً
Qāla Dhālika Mā Kunnā Nabghi ۚ Fārtaddā `Aláthārihimā Qaşaşāan (Al-Kahf: 64). He said, "This is what we were seeking."‌ And so they turned back retracing their steps. 018064 قَ‍الَ ‌ذَلِكَ مَا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ نَ‍‍بْ‍‍غِ ۚ فَا‌رْتَدَّ‌ا‌ عَلَ‍‍ى آثَا‌رِهِمَا‌ قَ‍‍صَ‍‍ص‍‍اً
Fawajadā `Abdāan Min `Ibādinā 'Ātaynāhu Raĥmatan Min `Indinā Wa `Allamnāhu Min Ladunnā `Ilmāan (Al-Kahf: 65). Then they came upon a servant of Ours, whom We had blessed with mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our Own. 018065 فَوَجَدَ‌ا‌ عَ‍‍بْ‍‍د‌اً مِ‍‌ن‌ْ عِبَا‌دِنَ‍‍ا آتَيْن‍‍َاهُ رَحْمَةً مِ‍‌ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِنَا وَعَلَّمْن‍‍َاهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَدُنَّ‍‍ا‌ عِلْماً
Qāla Lahu Mūsá Hal 'Attabi`uka `Alá 'An Tu`allimani Mimmā `Ullimta Rushan (Al-Kahf: 66). Moses said to him, "May I follow you, so that you may teach me some of the guidance you were taught?"‌ 018066 قَ‍الَ لَهُ مُوسَى‌ هَلْ ‌أَتَّبِعُكَ عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‌ْ تُعَلِّمَنِ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ عُلِّمْتَ ‌رُشْد‌اً
Qāla 'Innaka Lan Tastaţī`a Ma`iya Şaban (Al-Kahf: 67). He said, "You will not be able to endure with me. 018067 قَ‍الَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍ي‍‍عَ مَعِيَ صَ‍‍بْ‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Kayfa Taşbiru `Alá Mā Lam Tuĥiţ Bihi Khuban (Al-Kahf: 68). And how will you endure what you have no knowledge of?"‌ 018068 وَكَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ تَ‍‍صْ‍‍بِ‍‍رُعَلَى‌ مَا‌ لَمْ تُحِ‍‍ط‍‌ْ بِهِ خُ‍‍بْ‍‍ر‌اً
Qāla Satajidunī 'In Shā'a Allāhu Şābian Wa Lā 'A`şī Laka 'Aman (Al-Kahf: 69). He said, "You will find me, God willing, patient; and I will not disobey you in any order of yours."‌ 018069 قَ‍الَ سَتَجِدُنِ‍‍ي ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ش‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ صَ‍‍ابِ‍‍ر‌اً ‌وَلاَ أَعْ‍‍صِ‍‍ي لَكَ ‌أَمْر‌اً
Qāla Fa'ini Attaba`tanī Falā Tas'alnī `An Shay'in Ĥattá 'Uĥditha Laka Minhu Dhikan (Al-Kahf: 70). He said, "If you follow me, do not ask me about anything, until I myself make mention of it to you."‌ 018070 قَ‍الَ فَإِنِ ‌اتَّبَعْتَنِي فَلاَ‌ تَسْأَلْنِي عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَ‍يْءٍ‌ حَتَّ‍‍ى أُحْدِثَ لَكَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌ذِكْر‌اً
nţalaqā Ĥattá 'Idhā Rakibā Fī As-Safīnati Kharaqahā ۖ Qāla 'Akharaqtahā Litughriqa 'Ahlahā Laqad Ji'ta Shay'āan 'Iman (Al-Kahf: 71). So they set out. Until, when they had boarded the boat, he holed it. He said, "Did you hole it, to drown its passengers? You have done something awful."‌ 018071 فَا‌ن‍‍طَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌ حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا ‍رَكِبَا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّفِينَةِ خَ‍رَقَ‍‍هَا‌ ۖ قَ‍الَ ‌أَ‍خَ‍رَ‍قْ‍‍تَهَا‌ لِتُ‍‍غْ‍‍رِ‍قَ ‌أَهْلَهَا‌ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ جِئْتَ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ‌إِمْر‌اً
Qāla 'Alam 'Aqul 'Innaka Lan Tastaţī`a Ma`iya Şaban (Al-Kahf: 72). He said, "Did I not tell you that you will not be able to endure with me?"‌ 018072 قَ‍الَ ‌أَلَمْ ‌أَقُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍ي‍‍عَ مَعِيَ صَ‍‍بْ‍‍ر‌اً
Qāla Lā Tu'uākhidhnī Bimā Nasītu Wa Lā Turhiqnī Min 'Amrī `Usan (Al-Kahf: 73). He said, "Do not rebuke me for forgetting, and do not make my course difficult for me."‌ 018073 قَ‍الَ لاَ‌ تُؤ‍َ‍‌اخِ‍‍ذْنِي بِمَا‌ نَس‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍تُ ‌وَلاَ‌ تُرْهِ‍‍قْ‍‍نِي مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَمْ‍‍رِي عُسْر‌اً
nţalaqā Ĥattá 'Idhā Laqiyā Ghulāmāan Faqatalahu Qāla 'Aqatalta Nafsāan Zakīyatan Bighayri Nafsin Laqad Ji'ta Shay'āan Nukan (Al-Kahf: 74). Then they set out. Until, when they encountered a boy, he killed him. He said, "Did you kill a pure soul, who killed no one? You have done something terrible."‌ 018074 فَا‌ن‍‍طَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌ حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ لَ‍‍قِ‍‍يَا‌ غُ‍‍لاَماً فَ‍‍قَ‍‍تَلَهُ قَ‍الَ ‌أَقَ‍‍تَلْتَ نَفْساً ‌زَكِيَّةً بِ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ نَفْسٍ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ جِئْتَ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً نُكْر‌اً
Qāla 'Alam 'Aqul Laka 'Innaka Lan Tastaţī`a Ma`iya Şaban (Al-Kahf: 75). He said, "Did I not tell you that you will not be able to endure with me?"‌ 018075 قَ‍الَ ‌أَلَمْ ‌أَقُ‍‍لْ لَكَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍ي‍‍عَ مَعِيَ صَ‍‍بْ‍‍ر‌اً
Qāla 'In Sa'altuka `An Shay'in Ba`dahā Falā Tuşāĥibۖ Qad Balaghta Min Ladunnī `Udhan (Al-Kahf: 76). He said, "If I ask you about anything after this, then do not keep company with me. You have received excuses from me."‌ 018076 قَ‍الَ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ سَأَلْتُكَ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَ‍‍يْء‌ٍ بَعْدَهَا‌ فَلاَ‌ تُ‍‍صَ‍‍احِ‍‍بْ‍‍نِي ۖ قَ‍‍دْ‌ بَلَ‍‍غْ‍‍تَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَدُنِّ‍‍ي عُذْ‌ر‌اً
nţalaqā Ĥattá 'Idhā 'Atayā 'Ahla Qaryatin Astaţ`amā 'Ahlahā Fa'abawā 'An Yuđayyifūhumā Fawajadā Fīhā Jidāan Yurīdu 'An Yanqađđa Fa'aqāmahu ۖ Qāla Law Shi'ta Lāttakhadhta `Alayhi 'Ajan (Al-Kahf: 77). So they set out. Until, when they reached the people of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused to offer them hospitality. There they found a wall about to collapse, and he repaired it. He said, "If you wanted, you could have obtained a payment for it."‌ 018077 فَا‌ن‍‍طَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌ حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا أَتَيَ‍‍ا أَهْلَ قَ‍‍رْيَةٍ ‌اسْتَ‍‍طْ‍‍عَمَ‍‍ا أَهْلَهَا‌ فَأَبَوْ‌ا أَ‌ن‌ْ يُ‍‍ضَ‍‍يِّفُوهُمَا‌ فَوَجَدَ‌ا‌ فِيهَا‌ جِدَ‌ا‌ر‌اً يُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍قَ‍‍ضَّ فَأَقَ‍‍امَهُ ۖ قَ‍الَ لَوْ‌ شِئْتَ لاَتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذْتَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌أَجْ‍‍ر‌اً
Qāla Hādhā Firāqu Baynī Wa Baynika ۚ Sa'unabbi'uka Bita'li Mā Lam Tastaţi` `Alayhi Şaban (Al-Kahf: 78). He said, "This is the parting between you and me. I will tell you the interpretation of what you were unable to endure. 018078 قَ‍الَ هَذَ‌ا‌ فِرَ‍‌اقُ بَيْنِي ‌وَبَيْنِكَ ۚ سَأُنَبِّئُكَ بِتَأْ‌و‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ مَا‌ لَمْ تَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍عْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ صَ‍‍بْ‍‍ر‌اً
'Ammā As-Safīnatu Fakānat Limasākīna Ya`malūna Fī Al-Baĥri Fa'aradtu 'An 'A`ībahā Wa Kāna Warā'ahum Malikun Ya'khudhu Kulla Safīnatin Ghaşan (Al-Kahf: 79). As for the boat, it belonged to paupers working at sea. I wanted to damage it because there was a king coming after them seizing every boat by force. 018079 أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّفِينَةُ فَكَانَتْ لِمَسَاك‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَعْمَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ فِي ‌الْبَحْ‍‍رِ فَأَ‌‍رَ‌دْتُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَعِيبَهَا وَك‍‍َانَ ‌وَ‌ر‍َ‌اءَهُمْ مَلِكٌ يَأْخُ‍‍ذُ‌ كُلَّ سَفِينَةٍ غَ‍‍صْ‍‍باً
Wa 'Ammā Al-Ghulāmu Fakāna 'Abawāhu Mu'uminayni Fakhashīnā 'An Yurhiqahumā Ţughyānāan Wa Kufan (Al-Kahf: 80). As for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared he would overwhelm them with oppression and disbelief. 018080 وَ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الْ‍‍غُ‍‍لاَمُ فَك‍‍َانَ ‌أَبَو‍َ‍‌اهُ مُؤْمِنَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ فَ‍‍خَ‍‍شِينَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ يُرْهِ‍‍قَ‍‍هُمَا‌ طُ‍‍غْ‍‍يَاناً ‌وَكُفْر‌اً
Fa'aradnā 'An Yubdilahumā Rabbuhumā Khayan Minhu Zakāatan Wa 'Aqraba Ruĥmāan (Al-Kahf: 81). So we wanted their Lord to replace him with someone better in purity, and closer to mercy. 018081 فَأَ‌‍رَ‌دْنَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍دِلَهُمَا ‍رَبُّهُمَا‌ خَ‍‍يْر‌اً مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌زَك‍‍َاةً ‌وَ‌أَ‍قْ‍رَبَ ‌رُحْماً
Wa 'Ammā Al-Jidāru Fakāna Lighulāmayni Yatīmayni Fī Al-Madīnati Wa Kāna Taĥtahu Kanzun Lahumā Wa Kāna 'Abūhumā Şāliĥāan Fa'arāda Rabbuka 'An Yablughā 'Ashuddahumā Wa Yastakhrijā Kanzahumā Raĥmatan Min Rabbika ۚ Wa Mā Fa`altuhu `An 'Amrī ۚ Dhālika Ta'lu Mā Lam Tasţi` `Alayhi Şaban (Al-Kahf: 82). And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphaned boys in the town. Beneath it was a treasure that belonged to them. Their father was a righteous man. Your Lord wanted them to reach their maturity, and then extract their treasure"”as a mercy from your Lord. I did not do it of my own accord. This is the interpretation of what you were unable to endure."‌ 018082 وَ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الْجِد‍َ‌ارُ‌ فَك‍‍َانَ لِ‍‍غُ‍‍لاَمَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ يَتِيمَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ فِي ‌الْمَدِينَةِ ‌وَك‍‍َانَ تَحْتَهُ كَ‍‌‍ن‍‍ز‌ٌ لَهُمَا وَك‍‍َانَ ‌أَبُوهُمَا‌ صَ‍‍الِحاً فَأَ‌رَ‌ادَ ‍رَبُّكَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ‍‍غَ‍‍ا أَشُدَّهُمَا وَيَسْتَ‍‍خْ‍‍رِجَا‌ كَ‍‌‍ن‍‍زَهُمَا ‍رَحْمَةً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ رَبِّكَ ۚ ‌وَمَا‌ فَعَلْتُهُ عَ‍‌نْ ‌أَمْ‍‍رِي ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ تَأْ‌و‍ِ‍ي‍‍لُ مَا‌ لَمْ تَسْ‍‍طِ‍‍عْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ صَ‍‍بْ‍‍ر‌اً
Wa Yas'alūnaka `An Dhī Al-Qarnayni ۖ Qul Sa'atlū `Alaykum Minhu Dhikan (Al-Kahf: 83). And they ask you about Zul-Qarnain. Say, "I will tell you something about him."‌ 018083 وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذِي ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍رْنَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ۖ قُ‍‍لْ سَأَتْلُو‌ عَلَيْكُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌ذِكْر‌اً
'Innā Makkannā Lahu Fī Al-'Arđi Wa 'Ātaynāhu Min Kulli Shay'in Sababāan (Al-Kahf: 84). We established him on earth, and gave him all kinds of means. 018084 إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ مَكَّ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لَهُ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَ‌آتَيْن‍‍َاهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ سَبَباً
Fa'atba`a Sababāan (Al-Kahf: 85). He pursued a certain course. 018085 فَأَتْبَعَ سَبَباً
Ĥattá 'Idhā Balagha Maghriba Ash-Shamsi Wajadahā Taghrubu Fī `Aynin Ĥami'atin Wa Wajada `Indahā Qawmāan ۗ Qulnā Yā Dhā Al-Qarnayni 'Immā 'An Tu`adhdhiba Wa 'Immā 'An Tattakhidha Fīhim Ĥusnāan (Al-Kahf: 86). Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a murky spring, and found a people in its vicinity. We said, "O Zul-Qarnain, you may either inflict a penalty, or else treat them kindly."‌ 018086 حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ بَلَ‍‍غَ مَ‍‍غْ‍‍رِبَ ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسِ ‌وَجَدَهَا‌ تَ‍‍غْ‍‍رُبُ فِي عَ‍‍يْ‍‍نٍ حَمِئَةٍ ‌وَ‌وَجَدَ‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهَا‌ قَ‍‍وْماً ۗ قُ‍‍لْنَا‌ يَا‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍رْنَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ‌إِمَّ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ تُعَذِّبَ ‌وَ‌إِمَّ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ تَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذَ‌ فِيهِمْ حُسْناً
Qāla 'Ammā Man Žalama Fasawfa Nu`adhdhibuhu Thumma Yuraddu 'Ilá Rabbihi Fayu`adhdhibuhu `Adhābāan Nukan (Al-Kahf: 87). He said, "As for him who does wrong, we will penalize him, then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with an unheard-of torment. 018087 قَ‍الَ ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ظَ‍‍لَمَ فَسَ‍‍وْفَ نُعَذِّبُهُ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يُ‍رَ‌دُّ إِلَى ‍رَبِّهِ فَيُعَذِّبُهُ عَذَ‌اباً نُكْر‌اً
Wa 'Ammā Man 'Āmana Wa `Amila Şāliĥāan Falahu Jazā'an Al-Ĥusná ۖ Wa Sanaqūlu Lahu Min 'Amrinā Yusan (Al-Kahf: 88). "But as for him who believes and acts righteously, he will have the finest reward, and We will speak to him of Our command with ease."‌ 018088 وَ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌آمَنَ ‌وَعَمِلَ صَ‍‍الِحاً فَلَهُ جَز‍َ‌اءً ‌الْحُسْنَى‌ ۖ ‌وَسَنَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ لَهُ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَمْ‍‍رِنَا‌ يُسْر‌اً
Thumma 'Atba`a Sababāan (Al-Kahf: 89). Then he pursued a course. 018089 ثُ‍‍مَّ‌ ‌أَتْبَعَ سَبَباً
Ĥattá 'Idhā Balagha Maţli`a Ash-Shamsi Wajadahā Taţlu`u `Alá Qawmin Lam Naj`al Lahum Min Dūnihā Sitan (Al-Kahf: 90). Until, when he reached the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had provided no shelter from it. 018090 حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ بَلَ‍‍غَ مَ‍‍طْ‍‍لِعَ ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسِ ‌وَجَدَهَا‌ تَ‍‍طْ‍‍لُعُ عَلَى‌ قَ‍‍وْمٍ لَمْ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلْ لَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهَا‌ سِتْر‌اً
Kadhālika Wa Qad 'Aĥaţnā Bimā Ladayhi Khuban (Al-Kahf: 91). And so it was. We had full knowledge of what he had. 018091 كَذَلِكَ ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍دْ أَحَ‍‍طْ‍‍نَا‌ بِمَا‌ لَدَيْ‍‍هِ خُ‍‍بْ‍‍ر‌اً
Thumma 'Atba`a Sababāan (Al-Kahf: 92). Then he pursued a course. 018092 ثُ‍‍مَّ‌ ‌أَتْبَعَ سَبَباً
Ĥattá 'Idhā Balagha Bayna As-Saddayni Wajada Min Dūnihimā Qawmāan Lā Yakādūna Yafqahūna Qawlāan (Al-Kahf: 93). Until, when he reached the point separating the two barriers, he found beside them a people who could barely understand what is said. 018093 حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ بَلَ‍‍غَ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ ‌ال‍‍سَّدَّيْ‍‍نِ ‌وَجَدَ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِمَا‌ قَ‍‍وْماً لاَ‌ يَكَا‌د‍ُ‍‌ونَ يَفْ‍‍قَ‍‍ه‍‍ُ‍ونَ قَ‍‍وْلاً
Qālū Yā Dhā Al-Qarnayni 'Inna Ya'jūja Wa Ma'jūja Mufsidūna Fī Al-'Arđi Fahal Naj`alu Laka Kharjāan `Alá 'An Taj`ala Baynanā Wa Baynahum Saddāan (Al-Kahf: 94). They said, "O Zul-Qarnain, the Gog and Magog are spreading chaos in the land. Can we pay you, to build between us and them a wall?"‌ 018094 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ يَا‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍رْنَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ‌إِنّ‌َ يَأْج‍‍ُ‍وجَ ‌وَمَأْج‍‍ُ‍وجَ مُفْسِد‍ُ‍‌ونَ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ فَهَلْ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلُ لَكَ خَ‍‍رْجاً‌ عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‌ْ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ سَ‍‍د‍‍ّ‍‌اً
Qāla Mā Makkananī Fīhi Rabbī Khayrun Fa'a`īnūnī Biqūwatin 'Aj`al Baynakum Wa Baynahum Radan (Al-Kahf: 95). He said, "What my Lord has empowered me with is better. But assist me with strength, and I will build between you and them a dam."‌ 018095 قَ‍الَ مَا‌ مَكَّنَنِي ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ رَبِّي خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ فَأَعِينُونِي بِ‍‍قُ‍‍وَّةٍ ‌أَجْ‍‍عَلْ بَيْنَكُمْ ‌وَبَيْنَهُمْ رَ‌دْماً
'Ātūnī Zubara Al-Ĥadīdi ۖ Ĥattá 'Idhā Sāwá Bayna Aş-Şadafayni Qāla Anfukhū ۖ Ĥattá 'Idhā Ja`alahu Nāan Qāla 'Ātūnī 'Ufrigh `Alayhi Qiţan (Al-Kahf: 96). "Bring me blocks of iron."‌ So that, when he had leveled up between the two cliffs, he said, "Blow."‌ And having turned it into a fire, he said, "Bring me tar to pour over it."‌ 018096 آتُونِي ‌زُبَ‍رَ‌الْحَد‍ِ‍ي‍‍دِ‌ ۖ حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ سَا‌وَ‌ى‌ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍دَفَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ قَ‍الَ ‌ان‍‍فُ‍‍خُ‍‍وا‌ ۖ حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ جَعَلَهُ نَا‌ر‌اً قَ‍الَ ‌آتُونِ‍‍ي ‌أُفْ‍‍رِ‌غْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ قِ‍‍طْ‍‍ر‌اً
Famā Asţā`ū 'An Yažharūhu Wa Mā Astaţā`ū Lahu Naqan (Al-Kahf: 97). So they were unable to climb it, and they could not penetrate it. 018097 فَمَا‌ ‌اسْ‍‍طَ‍‍اعُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍هَر‍ُ‍‌وهُ ‌وَمَا‌ ‌اسْتَ‍‍طَ‍‍اعُوا‌ لَهُ نَ‍‍قْ‍‍باً
Qāla Hādhā Raĥmatun Min Rabbī ۖ Fa'idhā Jā'a Wa`du Rabbī Ja`alahu Dakkā'a ۖ Wa Kāna Wa`du Rabbī Ĥaqqāan (Al-Kahf: 98). He said, "This is a mercy from my Lord. But when the promise of my Lord comes true, He will turn it into rubble, and the promise of my Lord is always true."‌ 018098 قَ‍الَ هَذَ‌ا ‍رَحْمَةٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ رَبِّي ۖ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَ وَعْدُ ‍رَبِّي جَعَلَهُ ‌دَكّ‍‍َا‌ءَ ۖ ‌وَك‍‍َانَ ‌وَعْدُ ‍رَبِّي حَ‍‍ق‍‍ّ‍‍اً
Wa Taraknā Ba`đahum Yawma'idhin Yamūju Fī Ba`đin ۖ Wa Nufikha Fī Aş-Şūri Fajama`nāhum Jaman (Al-Kahf: 99). On that Day, We will leave them surging upon one another. And the Trumpet will be blown, and We will gather them together. 018099 وَتَ‍رَكْنَا‌ بَعْ‍‍ضَ‍‍هُمْ يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ يَم‍‍ُ‍وجُ فِي بَعْ‍‍ضٍ ۖ ‌وَنُفِ‍‍خَ فِي ‌ال‍‍صُّ‍‍و‌رِ فَجَمَعْنَاهُمْ جَمْعاً
Wa `Arađnā Jahannama Yawma'idhin Lilkāfirīna `Arđāan (Al-Kahf: 100). On that Day, We will present the disbelievers to Hell, all displayed. 018100 وَعَ‍رَضْ‍‍نَا‌ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ لِلْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ عَرْض‍‍اً
Al-Ladhīna Kānat 'A`yunuhumGhiţā'in `An Dhikrī Wa Kānū Lā Yastaţī`ūna Saman (Al-Kahf: 101). Those whose eyes were screened to My message, and were unable to hear. 018101 ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَانَتْ ‌أَعْيُنُهُمْ فِي غِ‍‍طَ‍‍ا‌ءٍ‌ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذِكْ‍‍رِي ‌وَكَانُوا‌ لاَ‌ يَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍يع‍‍ُ‍ونَ سَمْعاً
'Afaĥasiba Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'An Yattakhidhū `Ibādī Min Dūnī 'Awliyā'a ۚ 'Innā 'A`tadnā Jahannama Lilkāfirīna Nuzulāan (Al-Kahf: 102). Do those who disbelieve think that they can take My servants for masters instead of Me? We have prepared Hell for the hospitality of the faithless. 018102 أَفَحَسِبَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا‌ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذُ‌وا‌ عِبَا‌دِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌وْلِي‍‍َا‌ءَ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا أَعْتَ‍‍دْنَا‌ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ لِلْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ نُزُلاً
Qul Hal Nunabbi'ukum Bil-'Akhsarīna 'A`mālāan (Al-Kahf: 103). Say, "Shall We inform you of the greatest losers in their works?"‌ 018103 قُ‍‍لْ هَلْ نُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِ‍‍الأَ‍خْ‍‍سَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌أَعْمَالاً
Al-Ladhīna Đalla Sa`yuhum Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Hum Yaĥsabūna 'Annahum Yuĥsinūna Şun`āan (Al-Kahf: 104). "Those whose efforts in this world are misguided, while they assume that they are doing well."‌ 018104 ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ضَ‍‍لَّ سَعْيُهُمْ فِي ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَهُمْ يَحْسَب‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ يُحْسِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ صُ‍‍‌‍نْ‍‍عاً
'Ūla'ika Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bi'āyāti Rabbihim Wa Liqā'ihi Faĥabiţat 'A`māluhum Falā Nuqīmu Lahum Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Waznāan (Al-Kahf: 105). It is they who rejected the communications of their Lord, and the encounter with Him. So their works are in vain. And on the Day of Resurrection, We will consider them of no weight. 018105 أ‍ُ‍‌ولَئِكَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا‌ بِآي‍‍َاتِ رَبِّهِمْ ‌وَلِ‍‍قَ‍‍ائِهِ فَحَبِ‍‍طَ‍‍تْ ‌أَعْمَالُهُمْ فَلاَ‌ نُ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍مُ لَهُمْ يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ ‌وَ‌زْناً
Dhālika Jazā'uuhum Jahannamu Bimā Kafarū Wa Attakhadhū 'Āyātī Wa Rusulī Huzūan (Al-Kahf: 106). That is their requital"”Hell"”on account of their disbelief, and their taking My revelations and My messengers in mockery. 018106 ذَلِكَ جَز‍َ‌اؤُهُمْ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مُ بِمَا‌ كَفَرُ‌وا‌ ‌وَ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذُ‌وا‌ ‌آيَاتِي ‌وَ‌رُسُلِي هُزُ‌‍‍و‌‍اً
'Inna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Kānat Lahum Jannātu Al-Firdawsi Nuzulāan (Al-Kahf: 107). As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, they will have the Gardens of Paradise for hospitality. 018107 إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا‌ ‌وَعَمِلُوا‌ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتُ ‌الْفِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌دَ‌وْسِ نُزُلاً
Khālidīna Fīhā Lā Yabghūna `Anhā Ĥiwalāan (Al-Kahf: 108). Abiding therein forever, without desiring any change therefrom. 018108 خَ‍‍الِد‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِيهَا‌ لاَ‌ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍غُ‍‍ونَ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ حِوَلاً
Qul Law Kāna Al-Baĥru Midādāan Likalimāti Rabbī Lanafida Al-Baĥru Qabla 'An Tanfada Kalimātu Rabbī Wa Law Ji'nā Bimithlihi Madadāan (Al-Kahf: 109). Qul 'Innamā 'Anā Basharun Mithlukum Yūĥá 'Ilayya 'Annamā 'Ilahukum 'Ilahun Wāĥidun ۖ Faman Kāna Yarjū Liqā'a Rabbihi Falya`mal `Amalāan Şāliĥāan Wa Lā Yushrik Bi`ibādati Rabbihi 'Aĥadāan (Al-Kahf: 110). Say, "I am only a human being like you, being inspired that your god is One God.
