Sub ĥā na A l-Ladh ī 'Asrá Bi`ab dihi Laylāan Mina A l-Masjidi A l-Ĥar ā mi 'Ilá A l-Masjidi A l-'Aq ş á A l-Ladh ī Bāra knā Ĥawlahu Linur iyahu Min 'Āyātinā ۚ 'Inn ahu Huwa A s-Samī `u A l-Baş ī r u (Al-'Isrā ': 1).
Glory to Him who journeyed His servant by night, from the Sacred Mosque, to the Farthest Mosque, whose precincts We have blessed, in order to show him of Our wonders. He is the Listener, the Beholder.
017001
سُبْ حَا نَ ا لَّذِي أَسْرَ ى بِعَبْ دِهِ لَيْلاً مِنَ ا لْمَسْجِدِ ا لْحَرَ ا مِ إِلَى ا لْمَسْجِدِ ا لأَقْ صَ ى ا لَّذِي بَارَ كْنَا حَوْلَهُ لِنُرِ يَهُ مِن ْ آيَاتِنَا ۚ إِنَّ هُ هُوَ ا ل سَّمِي عُ ا لْبَص ِي رُ
Wa 'Ātaynā Mūsá A l-Kitā ba Wa Ja`alnā hu Hudan Libanī 'Isrā 'ī la 'Allā Tattakh idh ū Min Dūnī Wa Kīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 2).
And We gave Moses the Scripture, and made it a guide for the Children of Israel: Take none for protector other than Me.
017002
وَآتَيْنَا مُوسَى ا لْكِتَا بَ وَجَعَلْنَا هُ هُد ىً لِبَنِي إِسْرَا ئِي لَ أَلاَّ تَتَّخِ ذُوا مِن ْ دُونِي وَكِيلاً
Dh urr īyata Man Ĥamalnā Ma`a Nūĥin ۚ 'Inn ahu Kā na `Ab dāan Sh akūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 3).
The descendants of those We carried with Noah. He was an appreciative servant.
017003
ذُرِّيَّةَ مَن ْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُو حٍ ۚ إِنَّ هُ كَا نَ عَبْ داً شَكُوراً
Wa Q ađaynā 'Ilá Banī 'Isrā 'ī la Fī A l-Kitā bi Latufsidunn a Fī A l-'Arđi Marra tay ni Wa Lata`lunn a `Ulūwā an Kabīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 4).
And We conveyed to the Children of Israel in the Scripture: You will commit evil on earth twice, and you will rise to a great height.
017004
وَقَ ضَ يْنَا إِلَى بَنِي إسْرائِي لَ فِي ا لْكِتَا بِ لَتُفْسِدُنّ َ فِي ا لأَرْضِ مَرَّ تَيْ نِ وَلَتَعْلُنّ َ عُلُوّاً كَبِير اً
Fa'idh ā Jā 'a Wa`du 'Ūlāhumā Ba`ath nā `Alaykum `Ibādāan Lanā 'Ūlī Ba'sin Sh adī din Fajāsū Kh ilā la A d-Diyā r i ۚ Wa Kā na Wa`dāan Maf`ūlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 5).
When the first of the two promises came true, We sent against you servants of Ours, possessing great might, and they ransacked your homes. It was a promise fulfilled.
017005
فَإِذَا جَا ءَ وَعْدُ أُ ولاَهُمَا بَعَثْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ عِبَاداً لَنَا أُ ولِي بَأْسٍ شَدِي دٍ فَجَاسُوا خِ لاَلَ ا ل دِّيَا رِ ۚ وَكَا نَ وَعْداً مَفْعُولاً
Th umm a Ra dad nā Lakumu A l-Karra ta `Alayhim Wa 'Am dad nākum Bi'am wā lin Wa Banī na Wa Ja`alnākum 'Akth ara Nafīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 6).
Then We gave you back your turn against them, and supplied you with wealth and children, and made you more numerous.
017006
ثُمّ َ رَ دَدْ نَا لَكُمُ ا لْكَرَّ ةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَمْدَدْ نَاكُمْ بِأَمْوَا لٍ وَبَنِي نَ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ أَكْثَرَ نَفِير اً
'In 'Aĥsan tum 'Aĥsan tum Li'n fusikum ۖ Wa 'In 'Asa'tum Falahā ۚ Fa'idh ā Jā 'a Wa`du A l-'Ākh ira ti Liyasū 'ū Wujūhakum Wa Liyad kh ulū A l-Masjida Kamā Dakh alū hu 'Awwala Marra tin Wa Liyutabbirū Mā `Alawā Tatbīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 7).
If you work righteousness, you work righteousness for yourselves; and if you commit evil, you do so against yourselves. Then, when the second promise comes true, they will make your faces filled with sorrow, and enter the Temple as they entered it the first time, and utterly destroy all that falls into their power.
017007
إِن ْ أَحْسَن تُمْ أَحْسَن تُمْ لِأن فُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِن ْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ فَإِذَا جَا ءَ وَعْدُ ا لآخِ رَ ةِ لِيَسُو ءُ وا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْ خُ لُوا ا لْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَ لُو هُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّ ةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِير اً
`Asá Ra bbukum 'An Yarĥamakum ۚ Wa 'In `Ud tum `Ud nā ۘ Wa Ja`alnā Jahann ama Lilkāfir ī na Ĥaş īrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 8).
Perhaps your Lord will have mercy on you. But if you revert, We will revert. We have made Hell a prison for the disbelievers.
017008
عَسَى رَ بُّكُمْ أَن ْ يَرْحَمَكُمْ ۚ وَإِن ْ عُدْ تُمْ عُدْ نَا ۘ وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّ مَ لِلْكَافِر ِي نَ حَصِ ير اً
'Inn a Hādh ā A l-Q ur'ā na Yahdī Lillatī Hiya 'Aq wamu Wa Yubash sh ir u A l-Mu'uminī na A l-Ladh ī na Ya`malū na A ş -Ş āliĥā ti 'Ann a Lahum 'Aj rā an Kabīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 9).
This Quran guides to what is most upright; and it gives good news to the believers who do good deeds, that they will have a great reward.
017009
إِنّ َ هَذَا ا لْقُ رْآنَ يَهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْ وَمُ وَيُبَشِّر ُا لْمُؤْمِنِي نَ ا لَّذِي نَ يَعْمَلُو نَ ا ل صَّ الِحَا تِ أَنّ َ لَهُمْ أَجْ راً كَبِير اً
Wa 'Ann a A l-Ladh ī na Lā Yu'uminū na Bil-'Ākh ira ti 'A`tad nā Lahum `Adh ābāan 'Alīmāan (Al-'Isrā ': 10).
And those who do not believe in the Hereafter"”We have prepared for them a painful punishment.
017010
وَأَنّ َ ا لَّذِي نَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُو نَ بِا لآخِ رَ ةِ أَعْتَدْ نَا لَهُمْ عَذَاباً أَلِيماً
Wa Yad `u A l-'In sā nu Bish -Sh arr i Du`ā 'ahu Bil-Kh ay r i ۖ Wa Kā na A l-'In sā nu `Ajūlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 11).
The human being prays for evil as he prays for good. The human being is very hasty.
017011
وَيَدْ عُ ا لإِن سَا نُ بِا ل شَّرِّ دُعَا ءَهُ بِا لْخَ يْ رِ ۖ وَكَا نَ ا لإِن سَا نُ عَجُولاً
Wa Ja`alnā A l-Lay la Wa A n -Nahā ra 'Āyatay ni ۖ Famaĥawnā 'Āyata A l-Lay li Wa Ja`alnā 'Āyata A n -Nahā r i Mub ş ira tan Litab tagh ū Fađlāan Min Ra bbikum Wa Lita`lamū `Adada A s-Sinī na Wa A l-Ĥisā ba ۚ Wa Kulla Sh ay 'in Faş ş alnā hu Tafş īlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 12).
We have made the night and the day two wonders. We erased the wonder of the night, and made the wonder of the day revealing, that you may seek bounty from your Lord, and know the number of years, and the calculation. We have explained all things in detail.
017012
وَجَعَلْنَا ا ل لَّيْ لَ وَا ل نَّ هَا رَ آيَتَيْ نِ ۖ فَمَحَوْنَا آيَةَ ا ل لَّيْ لِ وَجَعَلْنَا آيَةَ ا ل نَّ هَا رِ مُبْ صِ رَ ة ً لِتَبْ تَغُ وا فَضْ لاً مِن ْ رَ بِّكُمْ وَلِتَعْلَمُوا عَدَدَ ا ل سِّنِي نَ وَا لْحِسَا بَ ۚ وَكُلَّ شَيْ ءٍ فَصَّ لْنَا هُ تَفْصِ يلاً
Wa Kulla 'In sā nin 'Alzam nā hu Ţ ā 'ira hu Fī `Unuq ihi ۖ Wa Nukh r iju Lahu Yaw ma A l-Q iyāmati Kitābāan Yalq ā hu Man sh ūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 13).
For every person We have attached his fate to his neck. And on the Day of Resurrection, We will bring out for him a book which he will find spread open.
017013
وَكُلَّ إِن سَا نٍ أَلْزَمْنَا هُ طَ ا ئِرَ هُ فِي عُنُقِ هِ ۖ وَنُخْ رِ جُ لَهُ يَوْ مَ ا لْقِ يَامَةِ كِتَاباً يَلْقَ ا هُ مَن شُوراً
A q ra ' Kitābaka Kafá Binafsika A l-Yaw ma `Alay ka Ĥasībāan (Al-'Isrā ': 14).
"Read your book; today there will be none but yourself to call you to account."
017014
ا قْ رَ أْ كِتَابَكَ كَفَى بِنَفْسِكَ ا لْيَوْ مَ عَلَيْ كَ حَسِيباً
Mani A htadá Fa'inn amā Yahtadī Linafsihi ۖ Wa Man Đ alla Fa'inn amā Yađillu `Alayhā ۚ Wa Lā Tazir u Wāzira tun Wizra 'Ukh rá ۗ Wa Mā Kunn ā Mu`adh dh ibī na Ĥattá Nab `ath a Ra sūlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 15).
Whoever is guided"”is guided for his own good. And whoever goes astray"”goes astray to his detriment. No burdened soul carries the burdens of another, nor do We ever punish until We have sent a messenger.
017015
مَنِ ا هْتَدَى فَإِنَّ مَا يَهْتَدِي لِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَن ْ ضَ لَّ فَإِنَّ مَا يَضِ لُّ عَلَيْهَا ۚ وَلاَ تَزِر ُوَازِرَ ةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْ رَ ى ۗ وَمَا كُنَّ ا مُعَذِّبِي نَ حَتَّى نَبْ عَثَ رَ سُولاً
Wa 'Idh ā 'Ara d nā 'An Nuhlika Q aryatan 'Amarnā Mutra fīhā Fafasaq ū Fīhā Faĥaq q a `Alayhā A l-Q aw lu Fadamm arnāhā Tad mīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 16).
When We decide to destroy a town, We command its affluent ones, they transgress in it, so the word becomes justified against it, and We destroy it completely.
017016
وَإِذَا أَرَ دْ نَا أَن ْ نُهْلِكَ قَ رْيَةً أَمَرْنَا مُتْرَ فِيهَا فَفَسَقُ وا فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيْهَا ا لْقَ وْ لُ فَدَمَّ رْنَاهَا تَدْ مِير اً
Wa Kam 'Ahlaknā Mina A l-Q urū ni Min Ba`di Nūĥin ۗ Wa Kafá Bira bbika Bidh unū bi `Ibādihi Kh abīrā an Baş īrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 17).
How many generations have We destroyed after Noah? Your Lord is sufficient as Knower and Beholder of the sins of his servants.
017017
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنَ ا لْقُ رُو نِ مِن ْ بَعْدِ نُو حٍ ۗ وَكَفَى بِرَ بِّكَ بِذُنُو بِ عِبَادِهِ خَ بِير اً بَصِ ير اً
Man Kā na Yur ī du A l-`Ājilata `Ajjalnā Lahu Fīhā Mā Nash ā 'u Liman Nur ī du Th umm a Ja`alnā Lahu Jahann ama Yaş lāhā Madh mūmāan Mad ĥūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 18).
Whoever desires the fleeting life, We expedite for him what We decide to give him, to whomever We desire. Then We consign him to Hell, where he will roast, condemned and defeated.
017018
مَن ْ كَا نَ يُر ِي دُ ا لْعَاجِلَةَ عَجَّلْنَا لَهُ فِيهَا مَا نَشَا ءُ لِمَن ْ نُر ِي دُ ثُمّ َ جَعَلْنَا لَهُ جَهَنَّ مَ يَصْ لاَهَا مَذْمُوماً مَدْ حُوراً
Wa Man 'Ar ā da A l-'Ākh ira ta Wa Sa`á Lahā Sa`yahā Wa Huwa Mu 'uminun Fa'ūlā 'ika Kā na Sa`yuhum Mash kūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 19).
But whoever desires the Hereafter, and pursues it as it should be pursued, while he is a believer; these"”their effort will be appreciated.
017019
وَمَنْ أَرَ ا دَ ا لآخِ رَ ةَ وَسَعَى لَهَا سَعْيَهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُ وْلَا ئِكَ كَا نَ سَعْيُهُمْ مَشْكُوراً
Kullāan Numiddu Hā 'uulā ' Wa Hā 'uulā ' Min `Aţ ā 'i Ra bbika ۚ Wa Mā Kā na `Aţ ā 'u Ra bbika Maĥžūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 20).
To all"”these and those"”We extend from the gifts of your Lord. The gifts of your Lord are not restricted.
017020
كُلاًّ نُمِدُّ هَا ؤُلاَء وَهَا ؤُلاَءِ مِنْ عَطَ ا ءِ رَ بِّكَ ۚ وَمَا كَا نَ عَطَ ا ءُ رَ بِّكَ مَحْظُ وراً
A n žur Kay fa Fađđalnā Ba`đahum `Alá Ba`đin ۚ Wa Lal'ā kh ira tu 'Akbaru Dara jā tin Wa 'Akbaru Tafđīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 21).
See how We have favored some of them over others; yet the Hereafter is greater in ranks, and greater in favors.
017021
ا ن ظُ رْ كَيْ فَ فَضَّ لْنَا بَعْضَ هُمْ عَلَى بَعْض ٍ ۚ وَلَلآخِ رَ ةُ أَكْبَرُ دَرَ جَا تٍ وَأَكْبَرُ تَفْضِ يلاً
Lā Taj `al Ma`a A ll āhi 'Ilahāan 'Ākh ara Fataq `uda Madh mūmāan Makh dh ūlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 22).
Do not set up another god with God, lest you become condemned and damned.
017022
لاَ تَجْ عَلْ مَعَ ا ل لَّ هِ إِلَهاً آخَ رَ فَتَقْ عُدَ مَذْمُوماً مَخْ ذُولاً
Wa Q ađá Ra bbuka 'Allā Ta`budū 'Illā 'Īyā hu Wa Bil-Wāliday ni 'Iĥsānāan ۚ 'Imm ā Yab lugh ann a `In daka A l-Kibara 'Aĥaduhumā 'Aw Kilāhumā Falā Taq ul Lahumā 'Uffin Wa Lā Tanharhumā Wa Q ul Lahumā Q awlāan Kar īmāan (Al-'Isrā ': 23).
Your Lord has commanded that you worship none but Him, and that you be good to your parents. If either of them or both of them reach old age with you, do not say to them a word of disrespect, nor scold them, but say to them kind words.
017023
وَقَ ضَ ى رَ بُّكَ أَلاَّ تَعْبُدُو ا إِلاَّ إِيَّا هُ وَبِا لْوَالِدَيْ نِ إِحْسَاناً ۚ إِمَّ ا يَبْ لُغَ نّ َ عِنْ دَكَ ا لْكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَا أَوْ كِلاَهُمَا فَلاَ تَقُ لْ لَهُمَا أُفٍّ وَلاَ تَنْ هَرْهُمَا وَقُ لْ لَهُمَا قَ وْلاً كَرِ يماً
Wa A kh fiđ Lahumā Janā ĥa A dh -Dh ulli Mina A r-Ra ĥmati Wa Q ul Rra bbi A rĥam humā Kamā Ra bbayānī Ş agh īrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 24).
And lower to them the wing of humility, out of mercy, and say, "My Lord, have mercy on them, as they raised me when I was a child."
017024
وَاخْ فِضْ لَهُمَا جَنَا حَ ا ل ذُّلِّ مِنَ ا ل رَّ حْمَةِ وَقُ لْ رَّ بِّ ا رْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَ بَّيَانِي صَ غِ ير اً
Ra bbukum 'A`lamu Bimā Fī Nufūsikum ۚ 'In Takūnū Ş āliĥī na Fa'inn ahu Kā na Lil'awwābī na Gh afūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 25).
Your Lord knows best what is in your minds. If you are righteous"”He is Forgiving to the obedient.
017025
رَ بُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا فِي نُفُوسِكُمْ ۚ إِن ْ تَكُونُوا صَ الِحِي نَ فَإِنَّ هُ كَا نَ لِلأَوَّابِي نَ غَ فُوراً
Wa 'Ā ti Dh ā A l-Q urbá Ĥaq q ahu Wa A l-Miskī na Wa A b na A s-Sabī li Wa Lā Tubadh dh ir Tab dh īrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 26).
And give the relative his rights, and the poor, and the wayfarer, and do not squander wastefully.
017026
وَآتِ ذَا ا لْقُ رْبَى حَقَّ هُ وَا لْمِسْكِي نَ وَا بْ نَ ا ل سَّبِي لِ وَلاَ تُبَذِّر ْ تَبْ ذِير اً
'Inn a A l-Mubadh dh ir ī na Kānū 'Ikh wā na A sh -Sh ayāţ ī ni ۖ Wa Kā na A sh -Sh ayţ ā nu Lira bbihi Kafūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 27).
The extravagant are brethren of the devils, and the devil is ever ungrateful to his Lord.
017027
إِنّ َ ا لْمُبَذِّر ِي نَ كَانُو ا إِخْ وَا نَ ا ل شَّيَاطِ ي نِ ۖ وَكَا نَ ا ل شَّيْطَ ا نُ لِرَ بِّهِ كَفُوراً
Wa 'Imm ā Tu`r iđann a `Anhumu A b tigh ā 'a Ra ĥmatin Min Ra bbika Tarjūhā Faq ul Lahum Q awlāan Maysūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 28).
But if you turn away from them, seeking mercy from your Lord which you hope for, then say to them words of comfort.
017028
وَإِمَّ ا تُعْرِ ضَ نّ َ عَنْ هُمُ ا بْ تِغَ ا ءَ رَ حْمَةٍ مِن ْ رَ بِّكَ تَرْجُوهَا فَقُ لْ لَهُمْ قَ وْلاً مَيْسُوراً
Wa Lā Taj `al Yadaka Magh lūlatan 'Ilá `Unuq ika Wa Lā Tab suţ hā Kulla A l-Basţ i Fataq `uda Malūmāan Maĥsūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 29).
And do not keep your hand tied to your neck, nor spread it out fully, lest you end up liable and regretful.
017029
وَلاَ تَجْ عَلْ يَدَكَ مَغْ لُولَةً إِلَى عُنُقِ كَ وَلاَ تَبْ سُطْ هَا كُلَّ ا لْبَسْطِ فَتَقْ عُدَ مَلُوماً مَحْسُوراً
'Inn a Ra bbaka Yab suţ u A r-R izq a Liman Yash ā 'u Wa Yaq diru ۚ 'Inn ahu Kā na Bi`ibādihi Kh abīrā an Baş īrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 30).
Your Lord expands the provision for whomever He wills, and restricts it. He is fully Informed, Observant of His servants.
017030
إِنّ َ رَ بَّكَ يَبْ سُطُ ا ل رِّزْقَ لِمَن ْ يَشَا ءُ وَيَقْ دِر ُۚ إِنَّ هُ كَا نَ بِعِبَادِهِ خَ بِير اً بَصِ ير اً
Wa Lā Taq tulū 'Awlādakum Kh ash yata 'Im lā q in ۖ Naĥnu Narzuq uhum Wa 'Īyākum ۚ 'Inn a Q atlahum Kā na Kh iţ 'ā an Kabīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 31).
And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them, and for you. Killing them is a grave sin.
017031
وَلاَ تَقْ تُلُو ا أَوْلاَدَكُمْ خَ شْيَةَ إِمْلاَق ٍ ۖ نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُ هُمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚ إِنّ َ قَ تْلَهُمْ كَا نَ خِ طْ ئاً كَبِير اً
Wa Lā Taq ra bū A z-Ziná ۖ 'Inn ahu Kā na Fāĥish atan Wa Sā 'a Sabīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 32).
And do not come near adultery. It is immoral, and an evil way.
017032
وَلاَ تَقْ رَ بُوا ا ل زِّنَى ۖ إِنَّ هُ كَا نَ فَاحِشَةً وَسَا ءَ سَبِيلاً
Wa Lā Taq tulū A n -Nafsa A llatī Ĥarra ma A ll āhu 'Illā Bil-Ĥaq q i ۗ Wa Man Q utila Mažlūmāan Faq ad Ja`alnā Liwalīyihi Sulţ ānāan Falā Yusr if Fī A l-Q atli ۖ 'Inn ahu Kā na Man ş ūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 33).
And do not kill the soul which God has made sacred, except in the course of justice. If someone is killed unjustly, We have given his next of kin certain authority. But he should not be excessive in killing, for he will be supported.
017033
وَلاَ تَقْ تُلُوا ا ل نَّ فْسَ ا لَّتِي حَرَّ مَ ا ل لَّ هُ إِلاَّ بِا لْحَقِّ ۗ وَمَن ْ قُ تِلَ مَظْ لُوماً فَقَ دْ جَعَلْنَا لِوَلِيِّهِ سُلْطَ اناً فَلاَ يُسْرِ فْ فِي ا لْقَ تْلِ ۖ إِنَّ هُ كَا نَ مَن صُ وراً
Wa Lā Taq ra bū Mā la A l-Yatī mi 'Illā Bi-Atī Hiya 'Aĥsanu Ĥattá Yab lugh a 'Ash uddahu ۚ Wa 'Awfū Bil-`Ahdi ۖ 'Inn a A l-`Ahda Kā na Mas'ūlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 34).
And do not go near the orphan's property, except with the best of intentions, until he has reached his maturity. And honor your pledge, because the pledge involves responsibility.
017034
وَلاَ تَقْ رَ بُوا مَا لَ ا لْيَتِي مِ إِلاَّ بِا لَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّى يَبْ لُغَ أَشُدَّهُ ۚ وَأَوْفُوا بِا لْعَهْدِ ۖ إِنّ َ ا لْعَهْدَ كَا نَ مَسْئُ ولاً
Wa 'Awfū A l-Kay la 'Idh ā Kiltum Wa Zinū Bil-Q isţ ā si A l-Mustaq ī mi ۚ Dh ālika Kh ay ru n Wa 'Aĥsanu Ta'wī lāan (Al-'Isrā ': 35).
And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with accurate scales. That is fair, and the best determination.
017035
وَأَوْفُوا ا لْكَيْ لَ إِذَا كِلْتُمْ وَزِنُوا بِا لْقِ سْطَ ا سِ ا لْمُسْتَقِ ي مِ ۚ ذَلِكَ خَ يْ رٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلاً
Wa Lā Taq fu Mā Lay sa Laka Bihi `Ilmun ۚ 'Inn a A s-Sam `a Wa A l-Baş ara Wa A l-Fu'uā da Kullu 'Ūlā 'ika Kā na `Anhu Mas'ūlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 36).
And do not occupy yourself with what you have no knowledge of. The hearing, and the sight, and the brains"”all these will be questioned.
017036
وَلاَ تَقْ فُ مَا لَيْ سَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۚ إِنّ َ ا ل سَّمْعَ وَا لْبَصَ رَ وَا لْفُؤَا دَ كُلُّ أُ وْلَا ئِكَ كَا نَ عَنْ هُ مَسْئُ ولاً
Wa Lā Tam sh i Fī A l-'Arđi Mara ĥāan ۖ 'Inn aka Lan Takh r iq a A l-'Arđa Wa Lan Tab lugh a A l-Jibā la Ţ ūlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 37).
And do not walk proudly on earth. You can neither pierce the earth, nor can you match the mountains in height.
017037
وَلاَ تَمْشِ فِي ا لأَرْضِ مَرَ حاً ۖ إِنَّ كَ لَن ْ تَخْ رِ قَ ا لأَرْضَ وَلَن ْ تَبْ لُغَ ا لْجِبَا لَ طُ ولاً
Kullu Dh ālika Kā na Sayyi'u hu `In da Ra bbika Makrūhāan (Al-'Isrā ': 38).
The evil of all these is disliked by your Lord.
017038
كُلُّ ذَلِكَ كَا نَ سَيِّئُهُ عِنْ دَ رَ بِّكَ مَكْرُوهاً
Dh ālika Mimm ā 'Awĥá 'Ilay ka Ra bbuka Mina A l-Ĥikmati ۗ Wa Lā Taj `al Ma`a A ll āhi 'Ilahāan 'Ākh ara Fatulq á Fī Jahann ama Malūmāan Mad ĥūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 39).
That is some of the wisdom your Lord has revealed to you. Do not set up with God another god, or else you will be thrown in Hell, rebuked and banished.
017039
ذَلِكَ مِمَّ ا أَوْحَى إِلَيْ كَ رَ بُّكَ مِنَ ا لْحِكْمَةِ ۗ وَلاَ تَجْ عَلْ مَعَ ا ل لَّ هِ إِلَهاً آخَ رَ فَتُلْقَ ى فِي جَهَنَّ مَ مَلُوماً مَدْ حُوراً
'Afa'aş fākum Ra bbukum Bil-Banī na Wa A ttakh adh a Mina A l-Malā 'ikati 'Ināth āan ۚ 'Inn akum Lataq ūlū na Q awlāan `Ažīmāan (Al-'Isrā ': 40).
Has your Lord favored you with sons, while choosing for Himself daughters from among the angels? You are indeed saying a terrible thing.
017040
أَفَأَصْ فَاكُمْ رَ بُّكُمْ بِا لْبَنِي نَ وَا تَّخَ ذَ مِنَ ا لْمَلاَئِكَةِ إِنَاثاً ۚ إِنَّ كُمْ لَتَقُ ولُو نَ قَ وْلاً عَظِ يماً
Wa Laq ad Ş arra fnā Fī Hādh ā A l-Q ur'ā ni Liyadh dh akkarū Wa Mā Yazīduhum 'Illā Nufūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 41).
We have explained in this Quran in various ways, that they may remember, but it only adds to their rebellion.
017041
وَلَقَ دْ صَ رَّ فْنَا فِي هَذَا ا لْقُ رْآنِ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلاَّ نُفُوراً
Q ul Law Kā na Ma`ahu 'Ālihatun Kamā Yaq ūlū na 'Idh āan Lāb tagh awā 'Ilá Dh ī A l-`Arsh i Sabīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 42).
Say, "If there were other gods with Him, as they say, they would have sought a way to the Lord of the Throne."
017042
قُ لْ لَوْ كَا نَ مَعَهُ آلِهَةٌ كَمَا يَقُ ولُو نَ إِذاً لاَبْ تَغَ وْا إِلَى ذِي ا لْعَرْشِ سَبِيلاً
Sub ĥānahu Wa Ta`ālá `Amm ā Yaq ūlū na `Ulūwā an Kabīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 43).
Be He glorified. He is exalted, far above what they say.
017043
سُبْ حَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّ ا يَقُ ولُو نَ عُلُوّاً كَبِير اً
Tusabbiĥu Lahu A s-Samāwā tu A s-Sab `u Wa A l-'Arđu Wa Man Fīhinn a ۚ Wa 'In Min Sh ay 'in 'Illā Yusabbiĥu Biĥam dihi Wa Lakin Lā Tafq ahū na Tasbīĥahum ۗ 'Inn ahu Kā na Ĥalīmāan Gh afūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 44).
Praising Him are the seven heavens, and the earth, and everyone in them. There is not a thing that does not glorify Him with praise, but you do not understand their praises. He is indeed Forbearing and Forgiving.
017044
تُسَبِّحُ لَهُ ا ل سَّمَاوَا تُ ا ل سَّبْ عُ وَا لأَرْضُ وَمَن ْ فِيهِنّ َ ۚ وَإِن ْ مِن ْ شَيْ ءٍ إِلاَّ يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَلَكِن ْ لاَ تَفْقَ هُو نَ تَسْبِيحَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ هُ كَا نَ حَلِيماً غَ فُوراً
Wa 'Idh ā Q ara 'ta A l-Q ur'ā na Ja`alnā Baynaka Wa Bay na A l-Ladh ī na Lā Yu'uminū na Bil-'Ākh ira ti Ĥijābāan Mastūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 45).
When you read the Quran, We place between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter an invisible barrier.
017045
وَإِذَا قَ رَ أْتَ ا لْقُ رْآنَ جَعَلْنَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْ نَ ا لَّذِي نَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُو نَ بِا لآخِ رَ ةِ حِجَاباً مَسْتُوراً
Wa Ja`alnā `Alá Q ulūbihim 'Akinn atan 'An Yafq ahū hu Wa Fī 'Ādh ānihim Waq rā an Wa 'Idh ā ۚ Dh akarta Ra bbaka Fī A l-Q ur'ā ni Waĥdahu Wa Llawā `Alá 'Ad bār ihim Nufūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 46).
And We drape veils over their hearts, preventing them from understanding it, and heaviness in their ears. And when you mention your Lord alone in the Quran, they turn their backs in aversion.
017046
وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَى قُ لُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّ ةً أَن ْ يَفْقَ هُو هُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْ راً ۚ وَإِذَا ذَكَرْتَ رَ بَّكَ فِي ا لْقُ رْآنِ وَحْدَهُ وَلَّوْا عَلَى أَدْ بَارِ هِمْ نُفُوراً
Naĥnu 'A`lamu Bimā Yastami`ū na Bihi 'Idh Yastami`ū na 'Ilay ka Wa 'Idh Hum Naj wá 'Idh Yaq ū lu A ž-Ž ālimū na 'In Tattabi`ū na 'Illā Ra julāan Masĥūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 47).
We know well what they listen to, when they listen to you, as they conspire, when the wrongdoers say, "You only follow a man bewitched."
017047
نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَسْتَمِعُو نَ بِهِ إِذْ يَسْتَمِعُو نَ إِلَيْ كَ وَإِذْ هُمْ نَجْ وَى إِذْ يَقُ و لُ ا ل ظَّ الِمُو نَ إِن ْ تَتَّبِعُو نَ إِلاَّ رَ جُلاً مَسْحُوراً
A n žur Kay fa Đ ara bū Laka A l-'Am th ā la Fađallū Falā Yastaţ ī`ū na Sabīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 48).
Note what they compared you to. They are lost, and unable to find a way.
017048
ا ن ظُ رْ كَيْ فَ ضَ رَ بُوا لَكَ ا لأَمْثَا لَ فَضَ لُّوا فَلاَ يَسْتَطِ يعُو نَ سَبِيلاً
Wa Q ālū 'A'idh ā Kunn ā `Ižāmāan Wa Ru fātāan 'A'inn ā Lamab `ūth ū na Kh alq āan Jadīdāan (Al-'Isrā ': 49).
And they say, "When we have become bones and fragments, shall we really be resurrected as a new creation?"
017049
وَقَ الُو ا أَئِذَا كُنَّ ا عِظَ اماً وَرُفَاتاً أَئِنَّ ا لَمَبْ عُوثُو نَ خَ لْق اً جَدِيداً
Q ul Kūnū Ĥijāra tan 'Aw Ĥadīdāan (Al-'Isrā ': 50).
Say, "Even if you become rocks or iron.
017050
قُ لْ كُونُوا حِجَارَ ةً أَوْ حَدِيداً
'Aw Kh alq āan Mimm ā Yakburu Fī Ş udūr ikum ۚ Fasayaq ūlū na Man Yu`īdunā ۖ Q uli A l-Ladh ī Faţ ara kum 'Awwala Marra tin ۚ Fasayungh iđū na 'Ilay ka Ru 'ū sahum Wa Yaq ūlū na Matá Huwa ۖ Q ul `Asá 'An Yakū na Q ar ībāan (Al-'Isrā ': 51).
Or some substance, which, in your minds, is even harder." Then they will say, "Who will restore us?" Say, "The One who originated you the first time." Then they will nod their heads at you, and say, "When will it be?" Say, "Perhaps it will be soon."
017051
أَوْ خَ لْق اً مِمَّ ا يَكْبُرُ فِي صُ دُورِ كُمْ ۚ فَسَيَقُ ولُو نَ مَن ْ يُعِيدُنَا ۖ قُ لِ ا لَّذِي فَطَ رَ كُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّ ةٍ ۚ فَسَيُنْ غِ ضُ و نَ إِلَيْ كَ رُءُ وسَهُمْ وَيَقُ ولُو نَ مَتَى هُوَ ۖ قُ لْ عَسَى أَن ْ يَكُو نَ قَ رِ يباً
Yaw ma Yad `ūkum Fatastajībū na Biĥam dihi Wa Tažunn ū na 'In Labith tum 'Illā Q alīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 52).
On the Day when He calls you, you will respond with His praise, and you will realize that you stayed only a little.
017052
يَوْ مَ يَدْ عُوكُمْ فَتَسْتَجِيبُو نَ بِحَمْدِهِ وَتَظُ نّ ُو نَ إِن ْ لَبِثْتُمْ إِلاَّ قَ لِيلاً
Wa Q ul Li`ibādī Yaq ūlū A llatī Hiya 'Aĥsanu ۚ 'Inn a A sh -Sh ayţ ā na Yan zagh u Baynahum ۚ 'Inn a A sh -Sh ayţ ā na Kā na Lil'in sā ni `Adūwā an Mubīnāan (Al-'Isrā ': 53).
Tell My servants to say what is best. Satan sows discord among them. Satan is to man an open enemy.
017053
وَقُ لْ لِعِبَادِي يَقُ ولُوا ا لَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ ۚ إِنّ َ ا ل شَّيْطَ ا نَ يَن زَغُ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنّ َ ا ل شَّيْطَ ا نَ كَا نَ لِلإِن سَا نِ عَدُوّاً مُبِيناً
Ra bbukum 'A`lamu Bikum ۖ 'In Yash a' Yarĥam kum 'Aw 'In Yash a' Yu`adh dh ib kum ۚ Wa Mā 'Arsalnā ka `Alayhim Wa Kīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 54).
Your Lord knows you best. If He wills, He will have mercy on you; and if He wills, He will punish you. We did not send you as their advocate.
017054
رَ بُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ ۖ إِن ْ يَشَأْ يَرْحَمْكُمْ أَوْ إِن ْ يَشَأْ يُعَذِّبْ كُمْ ۚ وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا كَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكِيلاً
Wa Ra bbuka 'A`lamu Biman Fī A s-Samāwā ti Wa A l-'Arđi ۗ Wa Laq ad Fađđalnā Ba`đa A n -Nabīyī na `Alá Ba`đin ۖ Wa 'Ātaynā Dāwū da Zabūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 55).
Your Lord knows well everyone in the heavens and the earth. We have given some prophets advantage over others; and to David We gave the Psalms.
017055
وَرَ بُّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ْ فِي ا ل سَّمَاوَا تِ وَا لأَرْضِ ۗ وَلَقَ دْ فَضَّ لْنَا بَعْضَ ا ل نَّ بِيِّي نَ عَلَى بَعْض ٍ ۖ وَآتَيْنَا دَاوُو دَ زَبُوراً
Q uli A d `ū A l-Ladh ī na Za`am tum Min Dūnihi Falā Yam likū na Kash fa A đ-Đ urr i `An kum Wa Lā Taĥwīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 56).
Say, "Call upon those you claim besides Him. They have no power to relieve your adversity, nor can they change it."
017056
قُ لِ ا دْ عُوا ا لَّذِي نَ زَعَمْتُمْ مِن ْ دُونِهِ فَلاَ يَمْلِكُو نَ كَشْفَ ا ل ضُّ رِّ عَن كُمْ وَلاَ تَحْوِيلاً
'Ūlā 'ika A l-Ladh ī na Yad `ū na Yab tagh ū na 'Ilá Ra bbihimu A l-Wasīlata 'Ayyuhum 'Aq ra bu Wa Yarjū na Ra ĥmatahu Wa Yakh āfū na `Adh ābahu ۚ 'Inn a `Adh ā ba Ra bbika Kā na Maĥdh ūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 57).
Those they call upon are themselves seeking means of access to their Lord, vying to be nearer, and hoping for His mercy, and fearing His punishment. The punishment of your Lord is to be dreaded.
017057
أُ وْلَا ئِكَ ا لَّذِي نَ يَدْ عُو نَ يَبْ تَغُ و نَ إِلَى رَ بِّهِمُ ا لْوَسِيلَةَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْ رَ بُ وَيَرْجُو نَ رَ حْمَتَهُ وَيَخَ افُو نَ عَذَابَهُ ۚ إِنّ َ عَذَا بَ رَ بِّكَ كَا نَ مَحْذُوراً
Wa 'In Min Q aryatin 'Illā Naĥnu Muhlikūhā Q ab la Yaw mi A l-Q iyāmati 'Aw Mu`adh dh ibūhā `Adh ābāan Sh adīdāan ۚ Kā na Dh ālika Fī A l-Kitā bi Masţ ūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 58).
There is no city but We will destroy before the Day of Resurrection, or punish it with a severe punishment. This is inscribed in the Book.
017058
وَإِن ْ مِن ْ قَ رْيَةٍ إِلاَّ نَحْنُ مُهْلِكُوهَا قَ بْ لَ يَوْ مِ ا لْقِ يَامَةِ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُوهَا عَذَاباً شَدِيداً ۚ كَا نَ ذَلِكَ فِي ا لْكِتَا بِ مَسْطُ وراً
Wa Mā Mana`anā 'An Nursila Bil-'Āyā ti 'Illā 'An Kadh dh aba Bihā A l-'Awwalū na ۚ Wa 'Ātaynā Th amū da A n -Nāq ata Mub ş ira tan Fažalamū Bihā ۚ Wa Mā Nursilu Bil-'Āyā ti 'Illā Takh wīfāan (Al-'Isrā ': 59).
Nothing prevents Us from sending miraculous signs, except that the ancients called them lies. We gave Thamood the she-camel, a visible sign, but they mistreated her. We do not send the signs except to instill reverence.
017059
وَمَا مَنَعَنَا أَن ْ نُرْسِلَ بِا لآيَا تِ إِلاَّ أَن ْ كَذَّبَ بِهَا ا لأَوَّلُو نَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا ثَمُو دَ ا ل نَّ اقَ ةَ مُبْ صِ رَ ةً فَظَ لَمُوا بِهَا ۚ وَمَا نُرْسِلُ بِا لآيَا تِ إِلاَّ تَخْ وِيفاً
Wa 'Idh Q ulnā Laka 'Inn a Ra bbaka 'Aĥā ţ a Bin -Nā si ۚ Wa Mā Ja`alnā A r-Ru 'uyā A llatī 'Ara ynā ka 'Illā Fitnatan Lilnn ā si Wa A sh -Sh ajara ta A l-Mal`ūnata Fī A l-Q ur'ā ni ۚ Wa Nukh awwifuhum Famā Yazīduhum 'Illā Ţ ugh yānāan Kabīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 60).
We said to you that your Lord encompasses humanity. We did not make the vision We showed you, except as a test for the people, and the tree cursed in the Quran. We frighten them, but that only increases their defiance.
017060
وَإِذْ قُ لْنَا لَكَ إِنّ َ رَ بَّكَ أَحَا طَ بِا ل نّ َا سِ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا ا ل رُّؤْيَا ا لَّتِي أَرَ يْنَا كَ إِلاَّ فِتْنَة ً لِلنّ َا سِ وَا ل شَّجَرَ ةَ ا لْمَلْعُونَةَ فِي ا لْقُ رْآنِ ۚ وَنُخَ وِّفُهُمْ فَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلاَّ طُ غْ يَاناً كَبِير اً
Wa 'Idh Q ulnā Lilmalā 'ikati A sjudū Li'dama Fasajadū 'Illā 'Ib lī sa Q ā la 'A'asjudu Liman Kh alaq ta Ţ īnāan (Al-'Isrā ': 61).
When We said to the angels, "Bow down before Adam," they bowed down, except for Satan. He said, "Shall I bow down before someone You created from mud?"
017061
وَإِذْ قُ لْنَا لِلْمَلاَئِكَةِ ا سْجُدُوا لِأدَمَ فَسَجَدُو ا إِلاَّ إِبْ لِي سَ قَ ا لَ أَأَسْجُدُ لِمَنْ خَ لَقْ تَ طِ يناً
Q ā la 'Ara 'aytaka Hādh ā A l-Ladh ī Karra m ta `Alay ya La 'in 'Akh kh artanī 'Ilá Yaw mi A l-Q iyāmati La'aĥtanikann a Dh urr īyatahu 'Illā Q alīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 62).
He said, "Do You see this one whom You have honored more than me? If You reprieve me until the Day of Resurrection, I will bring his descendants under my sway, except for a few."
017062
قَ ا لَ أَرَ أَيْتَكَ هَذَا ا لَّذِي كَرَّ مْتَ عَلَيَّ لَئِنْ أَخَّ رْتَنِي إِلَى يَوْ مِ ا لْقِ يَامَةِ لَأَحْتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُ إِلاَّ قَ لِيلاً
Q ā la A dh /hab Faman Tabi`aka Minhum Fa'inn a Jahann ama Jazā 'uukum Jazā 'an Mawfūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 63).
He said, "Begone! Whoever of them follows you"”Hell is your reward, an ample reward."
017063
قَ ا لَ ا ذْهَب ْ فَمَن ْ تَبِعَكَ مِنْ هُمْ فَإِنّ َ جَهَنَّ مَ جَزَا ؤُكُمْ جَزَا ءً مَوْفُوراً
Wa A stafziz Mani A staţ a`ta Minhum Biş awtika Wa 'Aj lib `Alayhim Bikh aylika Wa Ra jilika Wa Sh ār ik/hum Fī A l-'Am w li Wa A l-'Awlā di Wa `Id /hum ۚ Wa Mā Ya`iduhumu A sh -Sh ayţ ā nu 'Illā Gh urūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 64).
"And entice whomever of them you can with your voice, and rally against them your cavalry and your infantry, and share with them in wealth and children, and make promises to them." But Satan promises them nothing but delusion.
017064
وَاسْتَفْزِزْ مَنِ ا سْتَطَ عْتَ مِنْ هُمْ بِصَ وْتِكَ وَأَجْ لِب ْ عَلَيْهِمْ بِخَ يْلِكَ وَرَ جِلِكَ وَشَارِ كْهُمْ فِي ا لأَمْوالِ وَا لأَولاَدِ وَعِدْ هُمْ ۚ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ ا ل شَّيْطَ ا نُ إِلاَّ غُ رُوراً
'Inn a `Ibādī Lay sa Laka `Alayhim Sulţ ā nun ۚ Wa Kafá Bira bbika Wa Kīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 65).
"As for My devotees, you have no authority over them." Your Lord is an adequate Guardian.
017065
إِنّ َ عِبَادِي لَيْ سَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَ ا نٌ ۚ وَكَفَى بِرَ بِّكَ وَكِيلاً
Ra bbukumu A l-Ladh ī Yuzjī Lakumu A l-Fulka Fī A l-Baĥr i Litab tagh ū Min Fađlihi ۚ 'Inn ahu Kā na Bikum Ra ĥīmāan (Al-'Isrā ': 66).
Your Lord is He who propels for you the ships at sea, that you may seek of His bounty. He is towards you Most Merciful.
017066
رَ بُّكُمُ ا لَّذِي يُزْجِي لَكُمُ ا لْفُلْكَ فِي ا لْبَحْرِ لِتَبْ تَغُ وا مِن ْ فَضْ لِهِ ۚ إِنَّ هُ كَا نَ بِكُمْ رَ حِيماً
Wa 'Idh ā Massakumu A đ-Đ urru Fī A l-Baĥr i Đ alla Man Tad `ū na 'Illā 'Īyā hu ۖ Falamm ā Najjākum 'Ilá A l-Barr i 'A`ra đtum ۚ Wa Kā na A l-'In sā nu Kafūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 67).
When harm afflicts you at sea, those you pray to vanish, except for Him. But when He saves you to land, you turn away. The human being is ever thankless.
017067
وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ ا ل ضُّ رُّ فِي ا لْبَحْرِ ضَ لَّ مَن ْ تَدْ عُو نَ إِلاَّ إِيَّا هُ ۖ فَلَمَّ ا نَجَّاكُمْ إِلَى ا لْبَرِّ أَعْرَ ضْ تُمْ ۚ وَكَا نَ ا لإِنْ سَا نُ كَفُوراً
'Afa'amin tum 'An Yakh sifa Bikum Jāniba A l-Barr i 'Aw Yursila `Alaykum Ĥāş ibāan Th umm a Lā Tajidū Lakum Wa Kīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 68).
Are you confident that He will not cause a track of land to cave in beneath you, or unleash a tornado against you, and then you find no protector?
017068
أَفَأَمِن تُمْ أَن ْ يَخْ سِفَ بِكُمْ جَانِبَ ا لْبَرِّ أَوْ يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِ باً ثُمّ َ لاَ تَجِدُوا لَكُمْ وَكِيلاً
'Am 'Amin tum 'An Yu`īdakum Fī hi Tāra tan 'Ukh rá Fayursi la `Alaykum Q āş ifāan Mina A r-R ī ĥi Fayugh r iq akum Bimā Kafartum ۙ Th umm a Lā Tajidū Lakum `Alaynā Bihi Tabī`āan (Al-'Isrā ': 69).
Or are you confident that He will not return you to it once again, and unleash a hurricane against you, and drown you for your ingratitude? Then you will find no helper against Us.
017069
أَمْ أَمِن تُمْ أَن ْ يُعِيدَكُمْ فِي هِ تَارَ ةً أُخْ رَ ى فَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ قَ اصِ فاً مِنَ ا ل رِّي حِ فَيُغْ رِ قَ كُمْ بِمَا كَفَرْتُمْ ۙ ثُمّ َ لاَ تَجِدُوا لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا بِهِ تَبِيعاً
Wa Laq ad Karra m nā Banī 'Ādama Wa Ĥamalnāhum Fī A l-Barr i Wa A l-Baĥr i Wa Ra zaq nāhum Mina A ţ -Ţ ayyibā ti Wa Fađđalnāhum `Alá Kath ī r in Mimm an Kh alaq nā Tafđīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 70).
We have honored the Children of Adam, and carried them on land and sea, and provided them with good things, and greatly favored them over many of those We created.
017070
وَلَقَ دْ كَرَّ مْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ وَحَمَلْنَاهُمْ فِي ا لْبَرِّ وَا لْبَحْرِ وَرَ زَقْ نَاهُمْ مِنَ ا ل طَّ يِّبَا تِ وَفَضَّ لْنَاهُمْ عَلَى كَثِي ر ٍ مِمَّ نْ خَ لَقْ نَا تَفْضِ يلاً
Yaw ma Nad `ū Kulla 'Unā sin Bi'imāmihim ۖ Faman 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Biyamīnihi Fa'ūlā 'ika Yaq ra 'ū na Kitābahum Wa Lā Yužlamū na Fatīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 71).
On the Day when We call every people with their leader. Whoever is given his record in his right hand"”these will read their record, and they will not be wronged one bit.
017071
يَوْ مَ نَدْ عُو كُلَّ أُنَا سٍ بِإِمَامِهِمْ ۖ فَمَنْ أُ وتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَأُ وْلَا ئِكَ يَقْ رَ ءُو نَ كِتَابَهُمْ وَلاَ يُظْ لَمُو نَ فَتِيلاً
Wa Man Kā na Fī Hadh ihi 'A`m á Fahuwa Fī A l-'Ākh ira ti 'A`m á Wa 'Ađallu Sabīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 72).
But whoever is blind in this, he will be blind in the Hereafter, and further astray from the way.
017072
وَمَن ْ كَا نَ فِي هَذِهِ أَعْمَى فَهُوَ فِي ا لآخِ رَ ةِ أَعْمَى وَأَضَ لُّ سَبِيلاً
Wa 'In Kādū Layaftinūnaka `Ani A l-Ladh ī 'Awĥaynā 'Ilay ka Litaftar iya `Alaynā Gh ayra hu ۖ Wa 'Idh āan Lā ttakh adh ū ka Kh alīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 73).
They almost lured you away from what We have revealed to you, so that you would invent something else in Our name. In that case, they would have taken you for a friend.
017073
وَإِن ْ كَادُوا لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ عَنِ ا لَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْ كَ لِتَفْتَرِ يَ عَلَيْنَا غَ يْرَ هُ ۖ وَإِذاً لاَتَّخَ ذُو كَ خَ لِيلاً
Wa Lawlā 'An Th abbatnā ka Laq ad Kid tta Tarkanu 'Ilayhim Sh ay'ā an Q alīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 74).
Had We not given you stability, you might have inclined towards them a little.
017074
وَلَوْلاَ أَن ْ ثَبَّتْنَا كَ لَقَ دْ كِدْ تَّ تَرْكَنُ إِلَيْهِمْ شَيْ ئاً قَ لِيلاً
'Idh āan La'adh aq nā ka Đ i`fa A l-Ĥayāati Wa Đ i`fa A l-Mamā ti Th umm a Lā Tajidu Laka `Alaynā Naş īrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 75).
Then We would have made you taste double in life, and double at death; then you would have found for yourself no helper against Us.
017075
إِذاً لَأَذَقْ نَا كَ ضِ عْفَ ا لْحَيَا ةِ وَضِ عْفَ ا لْمَمَا تِ ثُمّ َ لاَ تَجِدُ لَكَ عَلَيْنَا نَصِ ير اً
Wa 'In Kādū Layastafizzūnaka Mina A l-'Arđi Liyukh r ijū ka Minhā ۖ Wa 'Idh āan Lā Yalbath ū na Kh ilāfaka 'Illā Q alīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 76).
They almost provoked you, to expel you from the land. In that case, they would not have lasted after you, except briefly.
017076
وَإِن ْ كَادُوا لَيَسْتَفِزُّونَكَ مِنَ ا لأَرْضِ لِيُخْ رِ جُو كَ مِنْ هَا ۖ وَإِذاً لاَ يَلْبَثُو نَ خِ لاَفَكَ إِلاَّ قَ لِيلاً
Sunn ata Man Q ad 'Arsalnā Q ab laka Min Ru sulinā ۖ Wa Lā Tajidu Lisunn atinā Taĥwīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 77).
The tradition of the messengers We sent before you"”you will find no change in Our rules.
017077
سُنَّ ةَ مَن ْ قَ دْ أَرْسَلْنَا قَ بْ لَكَ مِن ْ رُسُلِنَا ۖ وَلاَ تَجِدُ لِسُنَّ تِنَا تَحْوِيلاً
'Aq imi A ş -Ş alāata Lidulū ki A sh -Sh am si 'Ilá Gh asaq i A l-Lay li Wa Q ur'ā na A l-Faj r i ۖ 'Inn a Q ur'ā na A l-Faj r i Kā na Mash /hūdāan (Al-'Isrā ': 78).
Perform the prayer at the decline of the sun, until the darkness of the night; and the Quran at dawn. The Quran at dawn is witnessed.
017078
أَقِ مِ ا ل صَّ لاَةَ لِدُلُو كِ ا ل شَّمْسِ إِلَى غَ سَقِ ا ل لَّيْ لِ وَقُ رْآنَ ا لْفَجْ رِ ۖ إِنّ َ قُ رْآنَ ا لْفَجْ رِ كَا نَ مَشْهُوداً
Wa Mina A l-Lay li Fatahajjad Bihi Nāfilatan Laka `Asá 'An Yab `ath aka Ra bbuka Maq āmāan Maĥmūdāan (Al-'Isrā ': 79).
And keep vigil with it during parts of the night, as an extra prayer. Perhaps your Lord will raise you to a laudable position.
017079
وَمِنَ ا ل لَّيْ لِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِ نَافِلَة ً لَكَ عَسَى أَن ْ يَبْ عَثَكَ رَ بُّكَ مَقَ اماً مَحْمُوداً
Wa Q ul Ra bbi 'Ad kh ilnī Mud kh ala Ş id q in Wa 'Akh r ij nī Mukh ra ja Ş id q in Wa A j `al Lī Min Ladun ka Sulţ ānāan Naş īrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 80).
And say, "My Lord, lead me in through an entry of truth, and lead me out through an exit of truth, and grant me from You a supporting power."
017080
وَقُ لْ رَ بِّ أَدْ خِ لْنِي مُدْ خَ لَ صِ دْ ق ٍ وَأَخْ رِ جْ نِي مُخْ رَ جَ صِ دْ ق ٍ وَا جْ عَلْ لِي مِن ْ لَدُنْ كَ سُلْطَ اناً نَصِ ير اً
Wa Q ul Jā 'a A l-Ĥaq q u Wa Zahaq a A l-Bāţ ilu ۚ 'Inn a A l-Bāţ ila Kā na Zahūq āan (Al-'Isrā ': 81).
And say, "The truth has come, and falsehood has withered away; for falsehood is bound to wither away."
017081
وَقُ لْ جَا ءَ ا لْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ ا لْبَاطِ لُ ۚ إِنّ َ ا لْبَاطِ لَ كَا نَ زَهُوق اً
Wa Nunazzilu Mina A l-Q ur'ā ni Mā Huwa Sh ifā 'un Wa Ra ĥmatun Lilmu'uminī na ۙ Wa Lā Yazī du A ž-Ž ālimī na 'Illā Kh asārā an (Al-'Isrā ': 82).
We send down in the Quran healing and mercy for the believers, but it increases the wrongdoers only in loss.
017082
وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ا لْقُ رْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَا ءٌ وَرَ حْمَة ٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِي نَ ۙ وَلاَ يَزِي دُ ا ل ظَّ الِمِي نَ إِلاَّ خَ سَاراً
Wa 'Idh ā 'An`am nā `Alá A l-'In sā ni 'A`ra đa Wa Na'á Bijānibihi ۖ Wa 'Idh ā Massahu A sh -Sh arru Kā na Ya'ū sāan (Al-'Isrā ': 83).
When We bless the human being, he turns away and distances himself. But when adversity touches him, he is in despair.
017083
وَإِذَا أَنْ عَمْنَا عَلَى ا لإِن سَا نِ أَعْرَ ضَ وَنَأَى بِجَانِبِهِ ۖ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ا ل شَّرُّ كَا نَ يَئُ وساً
Q ul Kullun Ya`malu `Alá Sh ākilatihi Fara bbukum 'A`lamu Biman Huwa 'Ahdá Sabīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 84).
Say, "Each does according to his disposition. Your Lord knows best who is better guided in the way."
017084
قُ لْ كُلٌّ يَعْمَلُ عَلَى شَاكِلَتِهِ فَرَ بُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ْ هُوَ أَهْدَى سَبِيلاً
Wa Yas'alūnaka `Ani A r-Rū ĥi ۖ Q uli A r-Rū ĥu Min 'Am r i Ra bbī Wa Mā 'Ūtītum Mina A l-`Ilmi 'Illā Q alīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 85).
And they ask you about the Spirit. Say, "The Spirit belongs to the domain of my Lord; and you were given only little knowledge."
017085
وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ ا ل رُّو حِ ۖ قُ لِ ا ل رُّو حُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَ بِّي وَمَا أُ وتِيتُمْ مِنَ ا لْعِلْمِ إِلاَّ قَ لِيلاً
Wa La'in Sh i'nā Lanadh /habann a Bial-Ladh ī 'Awĥaynā 'Ilay ka Th umm a Lā Tajidu Laka Bihi `Alaynā Wa Kīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 86).
If We willed, We could take away what We revealed to you. Then you will find for yourself no protecting guardian against Us.
017086
وَلَئِن ْ شِئْنَا لَنَذْهَبَنّ َ بِا لَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْ كَ ثُمَّ لاَ تَجِدُ لَكَ بِهِ عَلَيْنَا وَكِيلاً
'Illā Ra ĥmatan Min Ra bbika ۚ 'Inn a Fađlahu Kā na `Alay ka Kabīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 87).
Except through a mercy from your Lord. His favors upon you have been great.
017087
إِلاَّ رَ حْمَةً مِن ْ رَ بِّكَ ۚ إِنّ َ فَضْ لَهُ كَا نَ عَلَيْ كَ كَبِير اً
Q ul La'ini A j tama`ati A l-'In su Wa A l-Jinn u `Alá 'An Ya'tū Bimith li Hādh ā A l-Q ur'ā ni Lā Ya'tū na Bimith lihi Wa Law Kā na Ba`đuhum Liba`đin Ž ahīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 88).
Say, "If mankind and jinn came together to produce the like of this Quran, they could never produce the like of it, even if they backed up one another."
017088
قُ لْ لَئِنِ ا جْ تَمَعَتِ ا لإِن سُ وَا لْجِنّ ُ عَلَى أَن ْ يَأْتُوا بِمِثْلِ هَذَا ا لْقُ رْآنِ لاَ يَأْتُو نَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَوْ كَا نَ بَعْضُ هُمْ لِبَعْض ٍ ظَ هِير اً
Wa Laq ad Ş arra fnā Lilnn ā si Fī Hādh ā A l-Q ur'ā ni Min Kulli Math alin Fa'abá 'Akth aru A n -Nā si 'Illā Kufūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 89).
We have displayed for mankind in this Quran every kind of similitude, but most people insist on denying the truth.
017089
وَلَقَ دْ صَ رَّ فْنَا لِلنّ َا سِ فِي هَذَا ا لْقُ رْآنِ مِن ْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ فَأَبَى أَكْثَرُ ا ل نّ َا سِ إِلاَّ كُفُوراً
Wa Q ālū Lan Nu'umina Laka Ĥattá Tafjura Lanā Mina A l-'Arđi Yan bū`āan (Al-'Isrā ': 90).
And they said, "We will not believe in you unless you make a spring burst from the ground for us.
017090
وَقَ الُوا لَن ْ نُؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّى تَفْجُرَ لَنَا مِنَ ا لأَرْضِ يَنْ بُوعاً
'Aw Takū na Laka Jann atun Min Nakh ī lin Wa `Inabin Fatufajjir a A l-'Anhā ra Kh ilālahā Tafjīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 91).
Or you have a garden of palms and vines; then cause rivers to gush pouring through them.
017091
أَوْ تَكُو نَ لَكَ جَنَّ ةٌ مِن ْ نَخِ ي لٍ وَعِنَبٍ فَتُفَجِّرَ ا لأَنهَا رَ خِ لاَلَهَا تَفْجِير اً
'Aw Tusq iţ a A s-Samā 'a Kamā Za`am ta `Alaynā Kisafāan 'Aw Ta'tiya Bill āhi Wa A l-Malā 'ikati Q abīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 92).
Or make the sky fall on us in pieces, as you claim, or bring God and the angels before us.
017092
أَوْ تُسْقِ طَ ا ل سَّمَا ءَ كَمَا زَعَمْتَ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفاً أَوْ تَأْتِيَ بِا ل لَّ هِ وَا لْمَلاَئِكَةِ قَ بِيلاً
'Aw Yakū na Laka Bay tun Min Zukh ru fin 'Aw Tarq á Fī A s-Samā 'i Wa Lan Nu'umina Liru q īyika Ĥattá Tunazzila `Alaynā Kitābāan Naq ra 'uuhu ۗ Q ul Sub ĥā na Ra bbī Hal Kun tu 'Illā Bash arā an Ra sūlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 93).
Or you possess a house of gold. Or you ascend into the sky. Even then, we will not believe in your ascension, unless you bring down for us a book that we can read." Say, "Glory be to my Lord. Am I anything but a human messenger?"
017093
أَوْ يَكُو نَ لَكَ بَيْ تٌ مِن ْ زُخْ رُفٍ أَوْ تَرْقَ ى فِي ا ل سَّمَا ءِ وَلَن ْ نُؤْمِنَ لِرُقِ يِّكَ حَتَّى تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا كِتَاباً نَقْ رَ ؤُهُ ۗ قُ لْ سُبْ حَا نَ رَ بِّي هَلْ كُن تُ إِلاَّ بَشَراً رَ سُولاً
Wa Mā Mana`a A n -Nā sa 'An Yu'uminū 'Idh Jā 'ahumu A l-Hudá 'Illā 'An Q ālū 'Aba`ath a A ll āhu Bash arā an Ra sūlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 94).
Nothing prevented the people from believing, when guidance has come to them, except that they said, "Did God send a human messenger?"
017094
وَمَا مَنَعَ ا ل نّ َا سَ أَن ْ يُؤْمِنُو ا إِذْ جَا ءَهُمُ ا لْهُدَى إِلاَّ أَن ْ قَ الُو ا أَبَعَثَ ا ل لَّ هُ بَشَراً رَ سُولاً
Q ul Law Kā na Fī A l-'Arđi Malā 'ikatun Yam sh ū na Muţ ma'inn ī na Lanazzalnā `Alayhim Mina A s-Samā 'i Malakāan Ra sūlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 95).
Say, "If there were angels on earth, walking around in peace, We would have sent down to them from heaven an angel messenger."
017095
قُ لْ لَوْ كَا نَ فِي ا لأَرْضِ مَلاَئِكَةٌ يَمْشُو نَ مُطْ مَئِنّ ِي نَ لَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ ا ل سَّمَا ءِ مَلَكاً رَ سُولاً
Q ul Kafá Bill āhi Sh ahīdāan Baynī Wa Baynakum ۚ 'Inn ahu Kā na Bi`ibādihi Kh abīrā an Baş īrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 96).
Say, "God is enough witness between you and me. He is fully aware of His servants, and He sees them well."
017096
قُ لْ كَفَى بِا ل لَّ هِ شَهِيداً بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ هُ كَا نَ بِعِبَادِهِ خَ بِير اً بَصِ ير اً
Wa Man Yahdi A ll ā hu Fahuwa A l-Muhtadi ۖ Wa Man Yuđlil Falan Tajida Lahum 'Awliyā 'a Min Dūnihi ۖ Wa Naĥsh uru hum Yaw ma A l-Q iyāmati `Alá Wajūhihim `Um yā an Wa Bukmāan Wa Ş umm āan ۖ Ma'wā hum Jahann amu ۖ Kullamā Kh abat Zid nāhum Sa`īrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 97).
Whomever God guides is the guided one. And whomever He leaves astray"”for them you will find no protectors apart from Him. And We will gather them on the Day of Resurrection, on their faces, blind, dumb, and deaf. Their abode is Hell; whenever it abates, We intensify the blaze for them.
017097
وَمَن ْ يَهْدِ ا للَّ هُ فَهُوَ ا لْمُهْتَدِ ۖ وَمَن ْ يُضْ لِلْ فَلَن ْ تَجِدَ لَهُمْ أَوْلِيَا ءَ مِن ْ دُونِهِ ۖ وَنَحْشُرُهُمْ يَوْ مَ ا لْقِ يَامَةِ عَلَى وَجُوهِهِمْ عُمْياً وَبُكْماً وَصُ مّ اً ۖ مَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّ مُ ۖ كُلَّمَا خَ بَتْ زِدْ نَاهُمْ سَعِير اً
Dh ālika Jazā 'uuhum Bi'ann ahum Kafarū Bi'ā yātinā Wa Q ālū 'A'idh ā Kunn ā `Ižāmāan Wa Ru fātāan 'A'inn ā Lamab `ūth ū na Kh alq āan Jadīdāan (Al-'Isrā ': 98).
This is their repayment for having blasphemed against Our revelations, and having said, "Shall we, when we have become bones and fragments, be resurrected as a new creation?"
017098
ذَلِكَ جَزَا ؤُهُمْ بِأَنَّ هُمْ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَقَ الُو ا أَئِذَا كُنَّ ا عِظَ اماً وَرُفَاتاً أَئِنَّ ا لَمَبْ عُوثُو نَ خَ لْق اً جَدِيداً
'Awalam Yara wā 'Ann a A ll āha A l-Ladh ī Kh alaq a A s-Samāwā ti Wa A l-'Arđa Q ādiru n `Alá 'An Yakh luq a Mith lahum Wa Ja`ala Lahum 'Ajalāan Lā Ra y ba Fī hi Fa'abá A ž-Ž ālimū na 'Illā Kufūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 99).
Do they not consider that God, Who created the heavens and the earth, is Able to create the likes of them? He has assigned for them a term, in which there is no doubt. But the wrongdoers persist in denying the truth.
017099
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ وْا أَنّ َ ا للَّ هَ ا لَّذِي خَ لَقَ ا ل سَّمَاوَا تِ وَا لأَرْضَ قَ ادِرٌ عَلَى أَن ْ يَخْ لُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَهُمْ أَجَلاً لاَ رَ يْ بَ فِي هِ فَأَبَى ا ل ظَّ الِمُو نَ إِلاَّ كُفُوراً
Q ul Law 'An tum Tam likū na Kh azā 'ina Ra ĥmati Ra bbī 'Idh āan La'am saktum Kh ash yata A l-'In fā q i ۚ Wa Kā na A l-'In sā nu Q atūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 100).
Say, "If you possessed the treasuries of my Lord's mercy, you would have withheld them for fear of spending." The human being has always been stingy.
017100
قُ لْ لَوْ أَن تُمْ تَمْلِكُو نَ خَ زَا ئِنَ رَ حْمَةِ رَ بِّي إِذاً لَأَمْسَكْتُمْ خَ شْيَةَ ا لإِن فَا قِ ۚ وَكَا نَ ا لإِنْ سَا نُ قَ تُوراً
Wa Laq ad 'Ātaynā Mūsá Tis`a 'Āyā tin Bayyinā tin ۖ Fās'l Banī 'Isrā 'ī la 'Idh Jā 'ahum Faq ā la Lahu Fir `aw nu 'Inn ī La'ažunn uka Yāmūsá Masĥūrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 101).
We gave Moses nine clear signs"”ask the Children of Israel. When he went to them, Pharaoh said to him, "I think that you, Moses, are bewitched."
017101
وَلَقَ دْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى تِسْعَ آيَا تٍ بَيِّنَا تٍ ۖ فَاسْألْ بَنِي إِسْرَا ئِي لَ إِذْ جَا ءَهُمْ فَقَ ا لَ لَهُ فِر ْعَوْ نُ إِنِّ ي لَأَظُ نُّ كَ يَامُوسَى مَسْحُوراً
Q ā la Laq ad `Alim ta Mā 'An zala Hā 'uulā ' 'Illā Ra bbu A s-Samāwā ti Wa A l-'Arđi Baş ā 'ir a Wa 'Inn ī La'ažunn uka Yā Fir `aw nu Math būrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 102).
He said, "You know that none sent these down except the Lord of the heavens and the earth"”eye openers; and I think that you, Pharaoh, are doomed."
017102
قَ ا لَ لَقَ دْ عَلِمْتَ مَا أَن زَلَ هَا ؤُلاَء إِلاَّ رَ بُّ ا ل سَّمَاوَا تِ وَا لأَرْضِ بَصَ ا ئِرَ وَإِنِّ ي لَأَظُ نُّ كَ يَافِر ْعَوْ نُ مَثْبُوراً
Fa'ar ā da 'An Yastafizzahum Mina A l-'Arđi Fa'agh ra q nā hu Wa Man Ma`ahu Jamī`āan (Al-'Isrā ': 103).
He resolved to scare them off the land, but We drowned him, and those with him, altogether.
017103
فَأَرَ ا دَ أَن ْ يَسْتَفِزَّهُمْ مِنَ ا لأَرْضِ فَأَغْ رَ قْ نَا هُ وَمَن ْ مَعَهُ جَمِيعاً
Wa Q ulnā Min Ba`dihi Libanī 'Isrā 'ī la A skunū A l-'Arđa Fa'idh ā Jā 'a Wa`du A l-'Ākh ira ti Ji'nā Bikum Lafīfāan (Al-'Isrā ': 104).
After him, We said to the Children of Israel, "Inhabit the land, and when the promise of the Hereafter arrives, We will bring you all together."
017104
وَقُ لْنَا مِن ْ بَعْدِهِ لِبَنِي إِسْرَا ئِي لَ ا سْكُنُوا ا لأَرْضَ فَإِذَا جَا ءَ وَعْدُ ا لآخِ رَ ةِ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيفاً
Wa Bil-Ĥaq q i 'An zalnā hu Wa Bil-Ĥaq q i Nazala ۗ Wa Mā 'Arsalnā ka 'Illā Mubash sh irā an Wa Nadh īrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 105).
With the truth We sent it down, and with the truth it descended. We sent you only as a bearer of good news and a warner.
017105
وَبِالْحَقِّ أَن زَلْنَا هُ وَبِا لْحَقِّ نَزَلَ ۗ وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا كَ إِلاَّ مُبَشِّر اً وَنَذِير اً
Wa Q ur'ā nāan Fara q nā hu Litaq ra 'ahu `Alá A n -Nā si `Alá Mukth in Wa Nazzalnā hu Tan zīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 106).
A Quran which We unfolded gradually, that you may recite to the people over time. And We revealed it in stages.
017106
وَقُ رْآناً فَرَ قْ نَا هُ لِتَقْ رَ أَهُ عَلَى ا ل نّ َا سِ عَلَى مُكْثٍ وَنَزَّلْنَا هُ تَن زِيلاً
Q ul 'Āminū Bihi 'Aw Lā Tu'uminū ۚ 'Inn a A l-Ladh ī na 'Ūtū A l-`Ilma Min Q ab lihi 'Idh ā Yutlá `Alayhim Yakh ir rū na Lil'adh q ā ni Sujjadāan (Al-'Isrā ': 107).
Say, "Believe in it, or do not believe." Those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, they fall to their chins, prostrating.
017107
قُ لْ آمِنُوا بِهِ أَوْ لاَ تُؤْمِنُو ا ۚ إِنّ َ ا لَّذِي نَ أُ وتُوا ا لْعِلْمَ مِن ْ قَ بْ لِهِ إِذَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ يَخِ ر ُّو نَ لِلأَذْقَ ا نِ سُجَّداً
Wa Yaq ūlū na Sub ĥā na Ra bbinā 'In Kā na Wa`du Ra bbinā Lamaf`ūlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 108).
And they say, "Glory to our Lord. The promise of our Lord is fulfilled."
017108
وَيَقُ ولُو نَ سُبْ حَا نَ رَ بِّنَا إِن ْ كَا نَ وَعْدُ رَ بِّنَا لَمَفْعُولاً
Wa Yakh ir rū na Lil'adh q ā ni Yab kū na Wa Yazīduhum Kh ush ū`āan (Al-'Isrā ': 109).
And they fall to their chins, weeping, and it adds to their humility.
017109
وَيَخِ ر ُّو نَ لِلأَذْقَ ا نِ يَبْ كُو نَ وَيَزِيدُهُمْ خُ شُوعاً
Q ul A d `ū A ll aha 'Aw A d `ū A r-Ra ĥmana ۖ 'Ayyanan Mmā Tad `ū Falahu A l-'Asmā 'u A l-Ĥusná ۚ Wa Lā Taj har Biş alātika Wa Lā Tukh āfit Bihā Wa A b tagh i Bay na Dh ālika Sabīlāan (Al-'Isrā ': 110).
Say, "Call Him God, or call Him the Most Merciful. Whichever name you use, to Him belong the Best Names." And be neither loud in your prayer, nor silent in it, but follow a course in between.
017110
قُ لْ ا دْ عُوا ا للَّ هَ أَوْ ا دْ عُوا ا ل رَّ حْمَنَ ۖ أَيّاًً مَّ ا تَدْ عُوا فَلَهُ ا لأَسْمَا ءُ ا لْحُسْنَى ۚ وَلاَ تَجْ هَرْ بِصَ لاَتِكَ وَلاَ تُخَ افِتْ بِهَا وَا بْ تَغِ بَيْ نَ ذَلِكَ سَبِيلاً
Wa Q uli A l-Ĥam du Lill ā h A l-Ladh ī Lam Yattakh idh Waladāan Wa Lam Yakun Lahu Sh ar ī kun Fī A l-Mulki Wa Lam Yakun Lahu Wa Lī yun Mina A dh -Dh ulli ۖ Wa Kabbir hu Takbīrā an (Al-'Isrā ': 111).
And say, "Praise be to God, who has not begotten a son, nor has He a partner in sovereignty, nor has He an ally out of weakness, and glorify Him constantly."

وَقُ لِ ا لْحَمْدُ لِلَّ هِ ا لَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِ ذْ وَلَداً وَلَمْ يَكُن ْ لَهُ شَر ِي كٌ فِي ا لْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن ْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ ا ل ذُّلِّ ۖ وَكَبِّر ْهُ تَكْبِير اً
Toggle thick letters. Most people make the mistake of thickening thin letters in the words that have other (highlighted) thick letter Toggle to highlight thick letters خصضغطقظ رَ
