'Alif-Lām- ۚ Kitābun 'Anzalnāhu 'Ilayka Litukhrija An-Nāsa Mina Až-Žulumāti 'Ilá An-Nūr Bi'idhni Rabbihim 'Ilá Şirāţi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥamīdi Alif, Lam, Ra. A Scripture that We revealed to you, that you may bring humanity from darkness to light—with the permission of their Lord—to the path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy. 014-001 --‍‌‌ ۚ‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
Al-Lahi Al-Ladhī Lahu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi ۗ Wa Waylun Lilkāfirīna Min `Adhābin Shadīdin God—to whom belongs what is in the heavens and the earth. And woe to the disbelievers from a severe torment. 014-002 ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۗ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‌
Al-Ladhīna Yastaĥibbūna Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā `Alá Al-'Ākhirati Wa Yaşuddūna `An Sabīli Allāhi Wa Yabghūnahā `Iwajāan ۚ 'Ūlā'ika Fī Đalālin Ba`īdin Those who prefer the present life to the Hereafter, and repel from the path of God, and seek to make it crooked—these are far astray. 014-003 ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ۚ‍‍‌‍‍‍
Wa Mā 'Arsalnā Min Rasūlin 'Illā Bilisāni Qawmihi Liyubayyina Lahum ۖ Fayuđillu Allāhu Man Yashā'u Wa Yahdī Man Yashā'u ۚ Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu We never sent any messenger except in the language of his people, to make things clear for them. God leads astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. He is the Mighty, the Wise. 014-004 ‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍ ۖ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Mūsá Bi'āyātinā 'An 'Akhrij Qawmaka Mina Až-Žulumāti 'Ilá An-Nūri Wa Dhakkirhum Bi'ayyāmi Allāhi ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Likulli Şabbārin Shakūrin We sent Moses with Our signs: “Bring your people out of darkness into light, and remind them of the Days of God.” In that are signs for every patient and thankful person.” 014-005 ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍ ۚ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‌
Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsá Liqawmihi Adhkurū Ni`mata Allāhi `Alaykum 'Idh 'Anjākum Min 'Āli Fir`awna Yasūmūnakum Sū'a Al-`Adhābi Wa Yudhabbiĥūna 'Abnā'akum Wa Yastaĥyūna Nisā'akum ۚ Wa Fī Dhālikum Balā'un Min Rabbikum `Ažīmun Moses said to his people, “Remember God’s blessings upon you, as He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh, who inflicted on you terrible suffering, slaughtering your sons while sparing your daughters. In that was a serious trial from your Lord.” 014-006 ‌‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ۚ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍
Wa 'Idh Ta'adhdhana Rabbukum La'in Shakartum La'azīdannakum ۖ Wa La'in Kafartum 'Inna `Adhābī Lashadīdun And when your Lord proclaimed: “If you give thanks, I will grant you increase; but if you are ungrateful, My punishment is severe.” 014-007 ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‍ ‍‌ۖ ‌‍‌
Wa Qāla Mūsá 'In Takfurū 'Antum Wa Man Al-'Arđi Jamī`āan Fa'inna Allāha Laghanīyun Ĥamīdun And Moses said, “Even if you are ungrateful, together with everyone on earth—God is in no need, Worthy of Praise.” 014-008 ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‍ ‍ ‍‍‍
'Alam Ya'tikum Naba'u Al-Ladhīna Min Qablikum Qawmi Nūĥin Wa `Ādin Wa Thamūda Wa ۛ Al-Ladhīna Min Ba`dihim ۛ Lā Ya`lamuhum 'Illā Al-Lahu ۚ Jā'at/hum Rusuluhum Bil-Bayyināti Faraddū 'Aydiyahum Fī 'Afwāhihim Wa Qālū 'Innā Kafarnā Bimā 'Ursiltum Bihi Wa 'Innā Lafī Shakkin Mimmā Tad`ūnanā 'Ilayhi Murībin Has not the story reached you, of those before you, the people of Noah, and Aad, and Thamood—and those after them? None knows them except God. Their messengers came to them with the clear proofs, but they tried to silence them, and said, “We reject what you are sent with, and we are in serious doubt regarding what you are calling us to.” 014-009 ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ۛ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ۛ ‌ ‌‌ ۚ‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍
Qālat Rusuluhum 'Afī Al-Lahi Shakkunţiri As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۖ Yad`ūkum Liyaghfira Lakum Min Dhunūbikum Wa Yu'uakhkhirakum 'Ilá 'Ajalin Musamman ۚ Qālū 'In 'Antum 'Illā Basharun Mithlunā Turīdūna 'An Taşuddūnā `Ammā Kāna Ya`budu 'Ābā'uunā Fa'tūnā Bisulţānin Mubīnin Their messengers said, “Is there any doubt about God, Maker of the heavens and the earth? He calls you to forgive you your sins, and to defer you until a stated term.” They said, “You are only humans like us; you want to turn us away from what our ancestors worshiped; so bring us a clear proof.” 014-010 ‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ۖ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ۚ ‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍
Qālat Lahum Rusuluhum 'In Naĥnu 'Illā Basharun Mithlukum Wa Lakinna Allāha Yamunnu `Alá Man Yashā'u Min `Ibādihi ۖ Wa Mā Kāna Lanā 'An Na'tiyakum Bisulţānin 'Illā Bi'idhni Allāhi ۚ Wa `Alá Allāhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu'uminūna Their messengers said to them, “We are only humans like you, but God favors whomever He wills from among His servants. We cannot possibly show you any proof, except by leave of God. In God let the faithful put their trust.” 014-011 ‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‍ ‍ ‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌ ۚ ‌‌
Wa Mā Lanā 'Allā Natawakkala `Alá Allāhi Wa Qad Hadānā Subulanā ۚ Wa Lanaşbiranna `Alá Mādhaytumūnā ۚ Wa `Alá Allāhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mutawakkilūna “And why should we not trust in God, when He has guided us in our ways? We will persevere in the face of your persecution. And upon God the reliant should rely.” 014-012 ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‌ ۚ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‌ ۚ ‌‌
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lirusulihim Lanukhrijannakum Min 'Arđinā 'Aw Lata`ūdunna Fī Millatinā ۖ Fa'awĥá 'Ilayhim Rabbuhum Lanuhlikanna Až-Žālimīna Those who disbelieved said to their messengers, “We will expel you from our land, unless you return to our religion.” And their Lord inspired them: “We will destroy the wrongdoers.” 014-013 ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ۖ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌‍ ‍‍
Wa Lanuskinannakumu Al-'Arđa Min Ba`dihim ۚ Dhālika Liman Khāfa Maqāmī Wa Khāfa Wa`īdi “And We will settle you in the land after them. That is for him who fears My Majesty, and fears My threats.” 014-014 ‍‍‌‍ ‍‌ ۚ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍
Wa Astaftaĥū Wa Khāba Kullu Jabbārin `Anīdin And they prayed for victory, and every stubborn tyrant came to disappointment. 014-015 ‌ ‌‍‍‍‌‌
Min Warā'ihi Jahannamu Wa Yusqá Min Mā'in Şadīdin Beyond him lies Hell, and he will be given to drink putrid water. 014-016 ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌
Yatajarra`uhu Wa Lā Yakādu Yusīghuhu Wa Ya'tīhi Al-Mawtu Min Kulli Makānin Wa Mā Huwa Bimayyitin ۖ Wa Min Warā'ihi `Adhābun Ghalīžun He will guzzle it, but he will not swallow it. Death will come at him from every direction, but he will not die. And beyond this is relentless suffering. 014-017 ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌ ۖ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‍
Mathalu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Birabbihim ۖ 'A`māluhum Karamādin Ashtaddat Bihi Ar-Rīĥu Fī Yawmin `Āşifin ۖ Lā Yaqdirūna Mimmā Kasabū `Alá Shay'in ۚ Dhālika Huwa Ađ-Đalālu Al-Ba`īdu The likeness of those who disbelieve in their Lord: their works are like ashes, in a fierce wind, on a stormy day. They have no control over anything they have earned. That is the utmost misguidance. 014-018 ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍ ۖ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍ ۖ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍ۚ ‌ ‌ ‍‍
'Alam Tará 'Anna Allāha Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Bil-Ĥaqqi ۚ 'In Yasha' Yudh/hibkum Wa Ya'ti Bikhalqin Jadīdin Do you not see that God created the heavens and the earth with truth? If He wills, He can do away with you, and bring a new creation. 014-019 ‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ۚ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Mā Dhālika `Alá Allāhi Bi`azīzin And that is not difficult for God. 014-020 ‌ ‌ ‌
Wa Barazū Lillāh Jamī`āan Faqāla Ađ-Đu`afā'u Lilladhīna Astakbarū 'Innā Kunnā Lakum Taba`āan Fahal 'Antum Mughnūna `Annā Min `Adhābi Allāhi Min Shay'in ۚ Qālū Law Hadānā Al-Lahu Lahadaynākum ۖ Sawā'un `Alaynā 'Ajazi`nā 'Am Şabarnā Mā Lanā Min Maĥīşin They will emerge before God, altogether. The weak will say to those who were proud, “We were your followers, can you protect us at all against God’s punishment?” They will say, “Had God guided us, we would have guided you. It is the same for us; whether we mourn, or are patient; there is no asylum for us.” 014-021 ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‍ ‍‌ۚ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ۖ ‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‌
Wa Qāla Ash-Shayţānu Lammā Quđiya Al-'Amru 'Inna Allāha Wa`adakum Wa`da Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Wa`adtukum Fa'akhlaftukum ۖ Wa Mā Kāna Lī `Alaykum Min Sulţānin 'Illā 'An Da`awtukum Fāstajabtumۖ Falā Talūmūnī Wa Lūmū 'Anfusakum ۖ Mā 'Anā Bimuşrikhikum Wa Mā 'Antum Bimuşrikhīya ۖ 'Innī Kafartu Bimā 'Ashraktumūnī Min Qablu ۗ 'Inna Až-Žālimīna Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun And Satan will say, when the issue is settled, “God has promised you the promise of truth, and I promised you, but I failed you. I had no authority over you, except that I called you, and you answered me. So do not blame me, but blame yourselves. I cannot come to your aid, nor can you come to my aid. I reject your associating with me in the past. The wrongdoers will have a torment most painful.” 014-022 ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‌ ‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍ۖ ‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ۖ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ۖ‍ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‍‌ ‍‍ۗ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Wa 'Udkhila Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Bi'idhni Rabbihim ۖ Taĥīyatuhum Fīhā Salāmun But those who believed and did good deeds will be admitted into gardens beneath which rivers flow, to remain therein forever, by leave of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be: “Peace.” 014-023 ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‌‍ ۖ
'Alam Tará Kayfa Đaraba Allāhu Mathalāan Kalimatan Ţayyibatan Kashajaratin Ţayyibatin 'Aşluhā Thābitun Wa Far`uhā Fī As-Samā'i Do you not see how God presents a parable? A good word is like a good tree—its root is firm, and its branches are in the sky. 014-024 ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‌‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍
Tu'utī 'Ukulahā Kulla Ĥīnin Bi'idhni Rabbihā ۗ Wa Yađribu Allāhu Al-'Amthāla Lilnnāsi La`allahum Yatadhakkarūna It yields its fruits every season by the will of its Lord. God presents the parables to the people, so that they may reflect. 014-025 ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‌‍ۗ ‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Mathalu Kalimatin Khabīthatin Kashajaratin Khabīthatin Ajtuththat Min Fawqi Al-'Arđi Mā Lahā Min Qarārin And the parable of a bad word is that of a bad tree—it is uprooted from the ground; it has no stability. 014-026 ‍‌‌ ‍ ‍‌‍ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌
Yuthabbitu Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Bil-Qawli Ath-Thābiti Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Fī Al-'Ākhirati ۖ Wa Yuđillu Allāhu Až-Žālimīna ۚ Wa Yaf`alu Allāhu Mā Yashā'u God gives firmness to those who believe, with the firm word, in this life, and in the Hereafter. And God leads the wicked astray. God does whatever He wills. 014-027 ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍ ۖ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ۚ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍
'Alam Tará 'Ilá Al-Ladhīna Baddalū Ni`mata Allāhi Kufan Wa 'Aĥallū Qawmahum Dāra Al-Bawāri Have you not seen those who exchanged the blessing of God with blasphemy, and landed their people into the house of perdition? 014-028 ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‍‍‌‌‍
Jahannama Yaşlawnahā ۖ Wa Bi'sa Al-Qarāru Hell—they will roast in it. What a miserable settlement. 014-029 ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ۖ‍‍‌‌
Wa Ja`alū Lillāh 'Andādāan Liyuđillū `An Sabīlihi ۗ Qul Tamatta`ū Fa'inna Maşīrakum 'Ilá An-Nāri And they set up rivals to God, in order to lead away from His path. Say, “Enjoy yourselves; your destination is the Fire.” 014-030 ‌‌‍‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ۗ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍
Qul Li`ibādiya Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Yuqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa Yunfiqū Mimmā Razaqnāhum Siran Wa `Alāniyatan Min Qabli 'An Ya'tiya Yawmun Lā Bay`un Fīhi Wa Lā Khilālun Tell My servants who have believed to perform the prayers, and to give from what We have given them, secretly and publicly, before a Day comes in which there is neither trading nor friendship. 014-031 ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌
Al-Lahu Al-Ladhī Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Wa 'Anzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fa'akhraja Bihi Mina Ath-Thamarāti Rizqāan Lakum ۖ Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-Fulka Litajriya Fī Al-Baĥri Bi'amrihi ۖ Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-'Anhāra God is He Who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down water from the sky, and with it produces fruits for your sustenance. And He committed the ships to your service, sailing through the sea by His command, and He committed the rivers to your service. 014-032 ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ۖ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌ ‍ ۖ ‌‍‍‍‌‍
Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Dā'ibayni ۖ Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-Layla Wa An-Nahār And He committed the sun and the moon to your service, both continuously pursuing their courses, and He committed the night and the day to your service. 014-033 ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍ۖ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌
Wa 'Ātākum Min Kulli Mā Sa'altumūhu ۚ Wa 'In Ta`uddū Ni`mata Allāhi Lā Tuĥşūhā ۗ 'Inna Al-'Insāna Lažalūmun Kaffārun And He has given you something of all what you asked. And if you were to count God’s blessings, you would not be able to enumerate them. The human being is unfair and ungrateful. 014-034 ‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍ ۚ ‌‌‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ۗ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌
Wa 'Idh Qāla 'Ibhīmu Rabbi Aj`al Hādhā Al-Balada 'Āmināan Wa Ajnubnī Wa Banīya 'An Na`buda Al-'Aşnāma Recall that Abraham said, “O my Lord, make this land peaceful, and keep me and my sons from worshiping idols.” 014-035 ‌‌‌ ‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌
Rabbi 'Innahunna 'Ađlalna Kathīrāan Mina An-Nāsi ۖ Faman Tabi`anī Fa'innahu Minnī ۖ Wa Man `Aşānī Fa'innaka Ghafūrun Raĥīmun “My Lord, they have led many people astray. Whoever follows me belongs with me; and whoever disobeys me—You are Forgiving and Merciful. 014-036 ‍‍ ‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ۖ ‍‌ ‍‍ۖ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍
Rabbanā 'Innī 'Askantu Min Dhurrīyatī Biwādin Ghayri Dhī Zar`in `Inda Baytika Al-Muĥarrami Rabbanā Liyuqīmū Aş-Şalāata Fāj`al 'Af'idatan Mina An-Nāsi Tahwī 'Ilayhim Wa Arzuqhum Mina Ath-Thamarāti La`allahum Yashkurūna “Our Lord, I have settled some of my offspring in a valley of no vegetation, by Your Sacred House, our Lord, so that they may perform the prayers. So make the hearts of some people incline towards them, and provide them with fruits, that they may be thankful.” 014-037 ‌ ‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌

Al-Ĥamdu Lillāh Al-Ladhī Wahaba Lī `Alá Al-Kibari 'Ismā`īla Wa 'Isĥāqa ۚ 'Inna Rabbī Lasamī`u Ad-Du`ā'i “Praise be to God, Who has given me, in my old age, Ishmael and Isaac. My Lord is the Hearer of Prayers.” 014-039 ‌ ‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍ ۚ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Rabbi Aj`alnī Muqīma Aş-Şalāati Wa Min Dhurrīyatī ۚ Rabbanā Wa Taqabbal Du`ā'i “My Lord, make me one who performs the prayer, and from my offspring. Our Lord, accept my supplication.” 014-040 ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ۚ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍
Rabbanā Aghfir Lī Wa Liwālidayya Wa Lilmu'uminīna Yawma Yaqūmu Al-Ĥisābu “Our Lord, forgive me, and my parents, and the believers, on the Day the Reckoning takes place.” 014-041 ‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍
Wa Lā Taĥsabanna Allāha Ghāfilāan `Ammā Ya`malu Až-Žālimūna ۚ 'Innamā Yu'uakhkhiruhum Liyawmin Tashkhaşu Fīhi Al-'Abşāru Do not ever think that God is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only defers them until a Day when the sights stare. 014-042 ‌ ‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ۚ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Muhţi`īna Muqni`ī Ru'ūsihim Lā Yartaddu 'Ilayhim Ţarfuhum ۖ Wa 'Af'idatuhum Hawā'un Their necks outstretched, their heads upraised, their gaze unblinking, their hearts void. 014-043 ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍‌
Wa 'Andhiri An-Nāsa Yawma Ya'tīhimu Al-`Adhābu Fayaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Rabbanā 'Akhkhirnā 'Ilá 'Ajalin Qarībin Nujib Da`wataka Wa Nattabi`i Ar-Rusula ۗ 'Awalam Takūnū 'Aqsamtum Min Qablu Mā Lakum Min Zawālin And warn mankind of the Day when the punishment will come upon them, and the wicked will say, “Our Lord, defer us for a little while, and we will answer Your call and follow the messengers.” Did you not swear before that there will be no passing away for you? 014-044 ‌‌‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌ ‌ ۗ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‌
Wa Sakantum Fī Masākini Al-Ladhīna Žalamū 'Anfusahum Wa Tabayyana Lakum Kayfa Fa`alnā Bihim Wa Đarabnā Lakumu Al-'Amthāla And you inhabited the homes of those who wronged themselves, and it became clear to you how We dealt with them, and We cited for you the examples. 014-045 ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‍‍‌
Wa Qad Makarū Makrahum Wa `Inda Allāhi Makruhum Wa 'In Kāna Makruhum Litazūla Minhu Al-Jibālu They planned their plans, but their plans are known to God, even if their plans can eliminate mountains. 014-046 ‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌‌‍‍ ‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍
Falā Taĥsabanna Allāha Mukhlifa Wa`dihi Rusulahu~ ۗ 'Inna Allāha `Azīzun Dhū Antiqāmin Do not ever think that God will break His promise to His messengers. God is Strong, Able to Avenge. 014-047 ‌ ‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌~ ۗ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍
Yawma Tubaddalu Al-'Arđu Ghayra Al-'Arđi Wa As-Samāwātu ۖ Wa Barazū Lillāh Al-Wāĥidi Al-Qahhāri On the Day when the earth is changed into another earth, and the heavens, and they will emerge before God, the One, the Irresistible. 014-048 ‌‍ ‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌ ۖ ‌‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍
Wa Tará Al-Mujrimīna Yawma'idhin Muqarranīna Fī Al-'Aşfādi On that Day, you will see the sinners bound together in chains. 014-049 ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Sabīluhum Min Qaţirānin Wa Taghshá Wujūhahumu An-Nāru Their garments made of tar, and the Fire covering their faces. 014-050 ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌
Liyajziya Allāhu Kulla Nafsin Mā Kasabat ۚ 'Inna Allāha Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi That God may repay each soul according to what it has earned. God is Quick in reckoning. 014-051 ‍‍‌ ‌ ۚ ‍ ‍‍‍‍
dhā Balāghun Lilnnāsi Wa Liyundharū Bihi Wa Liya`lamū 'Annamā Huwa 'Ilahun Wāĥidun Wa Liyadhdhakkara 'Ūlū Al-'Albābi This is a proclamation for mankind, that they may be warned thereby, and know that He is One God, and that people of understanding may remember. 014-052 ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍
