Ţā-Sīn-Mīm  | 026.001 Ta. Sin. Mim. | طَا-سِين-مِيم |
Tilka 'Āyātu Al-Kitābi Al-Mubīni  | 026.002 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. | تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ |
La`allaka Bākhi`un Nafsaka 'Allā Yakūnū Mu'uminīna  | 026.003 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. | لَعَلَّكَ بَاخِع ٌ نَفْسَكَ أَلاَّ يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ |
'In Nasha' Nunazzil `Alayhim Mina As-Samā'i 'Āyatan Fažallat 'A`nāquhum Lahā Khāđi`īna  | 026.004 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. | إِنْ نَشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ آيَة ً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَاقُهُمْ لَهَا خَاضِعِينَ |
Wa Mā Ya'tīhim Min Dhikrin Mina Ar-Raĥmāni Muĥdathin 'Illā Kānū `Anhu Mu`riđīna  | 026.005 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (God) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. | وَمَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ ذِكْر ٍ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ مُحْدَث ٍ إِلاَّ كَانُوا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ |
Faqad Kadhdhabū Fasaya'tīhim 'Anbā'u Mā Kānū Bihi Yastahzi'ūn  | 026.006 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! | فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ أَنْبَاءُ مَا كَانُوا بِه ِِ يَسْتَهْزِئُون |
'Awalam Yaraw 'Ilá Al-'Arđi Kam 'Anbatnā Fīhā Min Kulli Zawjin Karīmin  | 026.007 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? | أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الأَرْضِ كَمْ أَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْج ٍ كَرِيم ٍ |
'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna  | 026.008 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. | إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَة ً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ |
Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu  | 026.009 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. | وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ |
Wa 'Idh Nādá Rabbuka Mūsá 'Ani A'ti Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna  | 026.010 Behold, thy Lord called Moses: "Go to the people of iniquity,- | وَإِذْ نَادَى رَبُّكَ مُوسَى أَنِ ائْتِ الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ |
Qawma Fir`awna 'Alā Yattaqūna  | 026.011 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear God?" | قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ أَلاَ يَتَّقُونَ |
Qāla Rabbi 'Innī 'Akhāfu 'An Yukadhdhibūni  | 026.012 He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood: | قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يُكَذِّبُونِ |
Wa Yađīqu Şadrī Wa Lā Yanţaliqu Lisānī Fa'arsil 'Ilá Hārūna  | 026.013 "My breast will be straitened. And my speech may not go (smoothly): so send unto Aaron. | وَيَضِيقُ صَدْرِي وَلاَ يَنْطَلِقُ لِسَانِي فَأَرْسِلْ إِلَى هَارُونَ |
Wa Lahum `Alayya Dhanbun Fa'akhāfu 'An Yaqtulūni  | 026.014 "And (further), they have a charge of crime against me; and I fear they may slay me." | وَلَهُمْ عَلَيَّ ذَنْب ٌ فَأَخَافُ أَنْ يَقْتُلُونِ |
Qāla Kallā Fādh/habā Bi'āyātinā 'Innā Ma`akum Mustami`ūna  | 026.015 God said: "By no means! proceed then, both of you, with Our Signs; We are with you, and will listen (to your call). | قَالَ كَلاَّ فَاذْهَبَا بِآيَاتِنَا إِنَّا مَعَكُمْ مُسْتَمِعُونَ |
Fa'tiyā Fir`awna Faqūlā 'Innā Rasūlu Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna  | 026.016 "So go forth, both of you, to Pharaoh, and say: 'We have been sent by the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds; | فَأْتِيَا فِرْعَوْنَ فَقُولاَ إِنَّا رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ |
'An 'Arsil Ma`anā Banī 'Isrā'īla  | 026.017 "'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'" | أَنْ أَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ |
Qāla 'Alam Nurabbika Fīnā Walīdāan Wa Labithta Fīnā Min `Umurika Sinīna  | 026.018 (Pharaoh) said: "Did we not cherish thee as a child among us, and didst thou not stay in our midst many years of thy life? | قَالَ أَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدا ً وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ |
Wa Fa`alta Fa`lataka Allatī Fa`alta Wa 'Anta Mina Al-Kāfirīna  | 026.019 "And thou didst a deed of thine which (thou knowest) thou didst, and thou art an ungrateful (wretch)!" | وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ الَّتِي فَعَلْتَ وَأَنْتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ |
Qāla Fa`altuhā 'Idhāan Wa 'Anā Mina Ađ-Đāllīn  | 026.020 Moses said: "I did it then, when I was in error. | قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَا إِذا ً وَأَنَا مِنَ الضَّالِّين |
Fafarartu Minkum Lammā Khiftukum Fawahaba Lī Rabbī Ĥukmāan Wa Ja`alanī Mina Al-Mursalīna  | 026.021 "So I fled from you (all) when I feared you; but my Lord has (since) invested me with judgment (and wisdom) and appointed me as one of the apostles. | فَفَرَرْتُ مِنْكُمْ لَمَّا خِفْتُكُمْ فَوَهَبَ لِي رَبِّي حُكْما ً وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ |
Wa Tilka Ni`matun Tamunnuhā `Alayya 'An `Abbadta Banī 'Isrā'īla  | 026.022 "And this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel!" | وَتِلْكَ نِعْمَة ٌ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَيَّ أَنْ عَبَّدْتَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ |
Qāla Fir`awnu Wa Mā Rabbu Al-`Ālamīna  | 026.023 Pharaoh said: "And what is the 'Lord and Cherisher of the worlds'?" | قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَا رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ |
Qāla Rabbu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Baynahumā 'In Kuntum Mūqinīna  | 026.024 (Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." | قَالَ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إنْ كُنتُمْ مُوقِنِينَ |
Qāla Liman Ĥawlahu 'Alā Tastami`ūna  | 026.025 (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Did ye not listen (to what he says)?" | قَالَ لِمَنْ حَوْلَهُ~ُ أَلاَ تَسْتَمِعُونَ |
Qāla Rabbukum Wa Rabbu 'Ābā'ikumu Al-'Awwalīna  | 026.026 (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers from the beginning!" | قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ آبَائِكُمُ الأَوَّلِينَ |
Qāla 'Inna Rasūlakumu Al-Ladhī 'Ursila 'Ilaykum Lamajnūnun  | 026.027 (Pharaoh) said: "Truly your apostle who has been sent to you is a veritable madman!" | قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَكُمُ الَّذِي أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمَجْنُون ٌ |
Qāla Rabbu Al-Mashriqi Wa Al-Maghribi Wa Mā Baynahumā 'In Kuntum Ta`qilūna  | 026.028 (Moses) said: "Lord of the East and the West, and all between! if ye only had sense!" | قَالَ رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ |
Qāla La'ini Attakhadhta 'Ilahāan Ghayrī La'aj`alannaka Mina Al-Masjūnīna  | 026.029 (Pharaoh) said: "If thou dost put forward any god other than me, I will certainly put thee in prison!" | قَالَ لَئِنِ اتَّخَذْتَ إِلَهَاً غَيْرِي لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ الْمَسْجُونِينَ |
Qāla 'Awalaw Ji'tuka Bishay'in Mubīnin  | 026.030 (Moses) said: "Even if I showed you something clear (and) convincing?" | قَالَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكَ بِشَيْء ٍ مُبِين ٍ |
Qāla Fa'ti Bihi 'In Kunta Mina Aş-Şādiqīna  | 026.031 (Pharaoh) said: "Show it then, if thou tellest the truth!" | قَالَ فَأْتِ بِهِ~ِ إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ |
Fa'alqá `Aşāhu Fa'idhā Hiya Thu`bānun Mubīnun  | 026.032 So (Moses) threw his rod, and behold, it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! | فَأَلْقَى عَصَاه ُُ فَإِذَا هِيَ ثُعْبَان ٌ مُبِين ٌ |
Wa Naza`a Yadahu Fa'idhā Hiya Bayđā'u Lilnnāžirīna  | 026.033 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! | وَنَزَعَ يَدَه ُُ فَإِذَا هِيَ بَيْضَاءُ لِلنَّاظِرِينَ |
Qāla Lilmala'i Ĥawlahu 'Inna Hādhā Lasāĥirun `Alīmun  | 026.034 (Pharaoh) said to the Chiefs around him: "This is indeed a sorcerer well-versed: | قَالَ لِلْمَلَإِ حَوْلَهُ~ُ إِنَّ هَذَا لَسَاحِرٌ عَلِيم ٌ |
Yurīdu 'An Yukhrijakum Min 'Arđikum Bisiĥrihi Famādhā Ta'murūna  | 026.035 "His plan is to get you out of your land by his sorcery; then what is it ye counsel?" | يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُخْرِجَكُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِكُمْ بِسِحْرِه ِِ فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُونَ |
Qālū 'Arjihi Wa 'Akhāhu Wa Ab`ath Fī Al-Madā'ini Ĥāshirīna  | 026.036 They said: "Keep him and his brother in suspense (for a while), and dispatch to the Cities heralds to collect- | قَالُوا أَرْجِه ِِ وَأَخَاه ُُ وَابْعَثْ فِي الْمَدَائِنِ حَاشِرِينَ |
Ya'tūka Bikulli Saĥĥārin `Alīmin  | 026.037 "And bring up to thee all (our) sorcerers well-versed." | يَأْتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيم ٍ |
Fajumi`a As-Saĥaratu Limīqāti Yawmin Ma`lūmin  | 026.038 So the sorcerers were got together for the appointment of a day well-known, | فَجُمِعَ السَّحَرَةُ لِمِيقَاتِ يَوْم ٍ مَعْلُوم ٍ |
Wa Qīla Lilnnāsi Hal 'Antum Mujtami`ūna  | 026.039 And the people were told: "Are ye (now) assembled?- | وَقِيلَ لِلنَّاسِ هَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُجْتَمِعُونَ |
La`allanā Nattabi`u As-Saĥarata 'In Kānū Humu Al-Ghālibīna  | 026.040 "That we may follow the sorcerers (in religion) if they win?" | لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ السَّحَرَةَ إِنْ كَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ |
Falammā Jā'a As-Saĥaratu Qālū Lifir`awna 'A'inna Lanā La'ajrāan 'In Kunnā Naĥnu Al-Ghālibīna  | 026.041 So when the sorcerers arrived, they said to Pharaoh: "Of course - shall we have a (suitable) reward if we win? | فَلَمَّا جَاءَ السَّحَرَةُ قَالُوا لِفِرْعَوْنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرا ً إِنْ كُنَّا نَحْنُ الْغَالِبِينَ |
Qāla Na`am Wa 'Innakum 'Idhāan Lamina Al-Muqarrabīna  | 026.042 He said: "Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)." | قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِنَّكُمْ إِذا ً لَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ |
Qāla Lahum Mūsá 'Alqū Mā 'Antum Mulqūna  | 026.043 Moses said to them: "Throw ye - that which ye are about to throw!" | قَالَ لَهُمْ مُوسَى أَلْقُوا مَا أَنْتُمْ مُلْقُونَ |
Fa'alqaw Ĥibālahum Wa `Işīyahum Wa Qālū Bi`izzati Fir`awna 'Innā Lanaĥnu Al-Ghālibūna  | 026.044 So they threw their ropes and their rods, and said: "By the might of Pharaoh, it is we who will certainly win!" | فَأَلْقَوْا حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْغَالِبُونَ |
Fa'alqá Mūsá `Aşāhu Fa'idhā Hiya Talqafu Mā Ya'fikūna  | 026.045 Then Moses threw his rod, when, behold, it straightway swallows up all the falsehoods which they fake! | فَأَلْقَى مُوسَى عَصَاه ُُ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ |
Fa'ulqiya As-Saĥaratu Sājidīna  | 026.046 Then did the sorcerers fall down, prostrate in adoration, | فَأُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سَاجِدِينَ |
Qālū 'Āmannā Birabbi Al-`Ālamīna  | 026.047 Saying: "We believe in the Lord of the Worlds, | قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ |
Rabbi Mūsá Wa Hārūna  | 026.048 "The Lord of Moses and Aaron." | رَبِّ مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ |
Qāla 'Āmantum Lahu Qabla 'An 'Ādhana Lakum 'Innahu Lakabīrukumu Al-Ladhī `Allamakumu As-Siĥra Falasawfa Ta`lamūna La'uqaţţi`anna 'Aydiyakum Wa 'Arjulakum Min Khilāfin Wa La'uşallibannakum 'Ajma`īna  | 026.049 Said (Pharaoh): "Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? surely he is your leader, who has taught you sorcery! but soon shall ye know! | قَالَ آمَنْتُمْ لَه ُُ قَبْلَ أَنْ آذَنَ لَكُمْ إِنَّه ُُ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ الَّذِي عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحْرَ فَلَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ مِنْ خِلاَف ٍ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ |
Qālū Lā Đayra 'Innā 'Ilá Rabbinā Munqalibūna  | 026.050 "Be sure I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will cause you all to die on the cross!" | قَالُوا لاَ ضَيْرَ إِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا مُنْقَلِبُونَ |
'Innā Naţma`u 'An Yaghfira Lanā Rabbunā Khaţāyānā 'An Kunnā 'Awwala Al-Mu'uminīna  | 026.051 They said: "No matter! for us, we shall but return to our Lord! | إِنَّا نَطْمَعُ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَايَانَا أَنْ كُنَّا أَوَّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
Wa 'Awĥaynā 'Ilá Mūsá 'An 'Asri Bi`ibādī 'Innakum Muttaba`ūna  | 026.052 "Only, our desire is that our Lord will forgive us our faults, that we may become foremost among the believers!" | وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي إِنَّكُمْ مُتَّبَعُونَ |
Fa'arsala Fir`awnu Fī Al-Madā'ini Ĥāshirīna  | 026.053 By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." | فَأَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِي الْمَدَائِنِ حَاشِرِينَ |
'Inna Hā'uulā' Lashirdhimatun Qalīlūna  | 026.054 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, | إِنَّ هَاؤُلاَء لَشِرْذِمَة ٌ قَلِيلُونَ |
Wa 'Innahum Lanā Laghā'ižūna  | 026.055 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, | وَإِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَائِظُونَ |
Wa 'Innā Lajamī`un Ĥādhirūna  | 026.056 "And they are raging furiously against us; | وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَاذِرُونَ |
Fa'akhrajnāhum Min Jannātin Wa `Uyūnin  | 026.057 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." | فَأَخْرَجْنَاهُمْ مِنْ جَنَّات ٍ وَعُيُون ٍ |
Wa Kunūzin Wa Maqāmin Karīmin  | 026.058 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, | وَكُنُوز ٍ وَمَقَام ٍ كَرِيم ٍ |
Kadhālika Wa 'Awrathnāhā Banī 'Isrā'īla  | 026.059 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; | كَذَلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ |
Fa'atba`ūhum Mushriqīna  | 026.060 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. | فَأَتْبَعُوهُمْ مُشْرِقِينَ |
Falammā Tarā'á Al-Jam`āni Qāla 'Aşĥābu Mūsá 'Innā Lamudrakūna  | 026.061 So they pursued them at sunrise. | فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَى الْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَابُ مُوسَى إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ |
Qāla Kallā 'Inna Ma`iya Rabbī Sayahdīni  | 026.062 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." | قَالَ كَلاَّ إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ |
Fa'awĥaynā 'Ilá Mūsá 'Ani Ađrib Bi`aşāka Al-Baĥra Fānfalaqa Fakāna Kullu Firqin Kālţţawdi Al-`Ažīmi  | 026.063 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" | فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنِ اضْرِبْ بِعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَ فَانفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْق ٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ |
Wa 'Azlafnā Thamma Al-'Ākharīna  | 026.064 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. | وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ الآخَرِينَ |
Wa 'Anjaynā Mūsá Wa Man Ma`ahu 'Ajma`īna  | 026.065 And We made the other party approach thither. | وَأَنْجَيْنَا مُوسَى وَمَنْ مَعَهُ~ُ أَجْمَعِينَ |
Thumma 'Aghraqnā Al-'Ākharīna  | 026.066 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; | ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الآخَرِينَ |
'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna  | 026.067 But We drowned the others. | إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَة ً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ |
Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu  | 026.068 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. | وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ |
Wa Atlu `Alayhim Naba'a 'Ibrāhīma  | 026.069 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. | وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ |
'Idh Qāla Li'abīhi Wa Qawmihi Mā Ta`budūna  | 026.070 And rehearse to them (something of) Abraham's story. | إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيه ِِ وَقَوْمِه ِِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ |
Qālū Na`budu 'Aşnāmāan Fanažallu Lahā `Ākifīna  | 026.071 Behold, he said to his father and his people: "What worship ye?" | قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ أَصْنَاما ً فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَاكِفِينَ |
Qāla Hal Yasma`ūnakum 'Idh Tad`ūna  | 026.072 They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them." | قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ إِذْ تَدْعُونَ |
'Aw Yanfa`ūnakum 'Aw Yađurrūna  | 026.073 He said: "Do they listen to you when ye call (on them), or do you good or harm?" | أَوْ يَنْفَعُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَضُرُّونَ |
Qālū Bal Wajadnā 'Ābā'anā Kadhālika Yaf`alūna  | 026.074 They said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing thus (what we do)." | قَالُوا بَلْ وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا كَذَلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ |
Qāla 'Afara'aytum Mā Kuntum Ta`budūna  | 026.075 He said: "Do ye then see whom ye have been worshipping,- | قَالَ أَفَرَأَيْتُمْ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ |
'Antum Wa 'Ābā'uukumu Al-'Aqdamūna  | 026.076 "Ye and your fathers before you?- | أَنْتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمُ الأَقْدَمُونَ |
Fa'innahum `Adūwun Lī 'Illā Rabba Al-`Ālamīna  | 026.077 "For they are enemies to me; not so the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds; | فَإِنَّهُمْ عَدُوّ ٌ لِي إِلاَّ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ |
Al-Ladhī Khalaqanī Fahuwa Yahdīni  | 026.078 "Who created me, and it is He Who guides me; | الَّذِي خَلَقَنِي فَهُوَ يَهْدِينِ |
Wa Al-Ladhī Huwa Yuţ`imunī Wa Yasqīni  | 026.079 "Who gives me food and drink, | وَالَّذِي هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِي وَيَسْقِينِ |
Wa 'Idhā Mariđtu Fahuwa Yashfīni  | 026.080 "And when I am ill, it is He Who cures me; | وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ |
Wa Al-Ladhī Yumītunī Thumma Yuĥyīni  | 026.081 "Who will cause me to die, and then to life (again); | وَالَّذِي يُمِيتُنِي ثُمَّ يُحْيِينِ |
Wa Al-Ladhī 'Aţma`u 'An Yaghfira Lī Khaţī'atī Yawma Ad-Dīni  | 026.082 "And who, I hope, will forgive me my faults on the day of Judgment. | وَالَّذِي أَطْمَعُ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ لِي خَطِيئَتِي يَوْمَ الدِّينِ |
Rabbi Hab Lī Ĥukmāan Wa 'Alĥiqnī Biş-Şāliĥīna  | 026.083 "O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous; | رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْما ً وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ |
Wa Aj`al Lī Lisāna Şidqin Fī Al-'Ākhirīna  | 026.084 "Grant me honourable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations); | وَاجْعَلْ لِي لِسَانَ صِدْق ٍ فِي الآخِرِينَ |
Wa Aj`alnī Min Warathati Jannati An-Na`īmi  | 026.085 "Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss; | وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ |
Wa Aghfir Li'abī 'Innahu Kāna Mina Ađ-Đāllīna  | 026.086 "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray; | وَاغْفِرْ لِأَبِي إِنَّه ُُ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ |
Wa Lā Tukhzinī Yawma Yub`athūna  | 026.087 "And let me not be in disgrace on the Day when (men) will be raised up;- | وَلاَ تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ |
Yawma Lā Yanfa`u Mālun Wa Lā Banūna  | 026.088 "The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, | يَوْمَ لاَ يَنْفَعُ مَال ٌ وَلاَ بَنُونَ |
'Illā Man 'Atá Allāha Biqalbin Salīmin  | 026.089 "But only he (will prosper) that brings to God a sound heart; | إِلاَّ مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْب ٍ سَلِيم ٍ |
Wa 'Uzlifati Al-Jannatu Lilmuttaqīna  | 026.090 "To the righteous, the Garden will be brought near, | وَأُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ |
Wa Burrizati Al-Jaĥīmu Lilghāwīna  | 026.091 "And to those straying in Evil, the Fire will be placed in full view; | وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِلْغَاوِينَ |
Wa Qīla Lahum 'Ayna Mā Kuntum Ta`budūna  | 026.092 "And it shall be said to them: 'Where are the (gods) ye worshipped- | وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ |
Min Dūni Allāhi Hal Yanşurūnakum 'Aw Yantaşirūna  | 026.093 "'Besides God? Can they help you or help themselves?' | مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ هَلْ يَنْصُرُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَنْتَصِرُونَ |
Fakubkibū Fīhā Hum Wa Al-Ghāwūna  | 026.094 "Then they will be thrown headlong into the (Fire),- they and those straying in Evil, | فَكُبْكِبُوا فِيهَا هُمْ وَالْغَاوُونَ |
Wa Junūdu 'Iblīsa 'Ajma`ūna  | 026.095 "And the whole hosts of Iblis together. | وَجُنُودُ إِبْلِيسَ أَجْمَعُونَ |
Qālū Wa Hum Fīhā Yakhtaşimūna  | 026.096 "They will say there in their mutual bickerings: | قَالُوا وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ |
Ta-Allāhi 'In Kunnā Lafī Đalālin Mubīnin  | 026.097 "'By God, we were truly in an error manifest, | تَاللَّهِ إِنْ كُنَّا لَفِي ضَلاَل ٍ مُبِين ٍ |
'Idh Nusawwīkum Birabbi Al-`Ālamīna  | 026.098 "'When we held you as equals with the Lord of the Worlds; | إِذْ نُسَوِّيكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ |
Wa Mā 'Ađallanā 'Illā Al-Mujrimūna  | 026.099 "'And our seducers were only those who were steeped in guilt. | وَمَا أَضَلَّنَا إِلاَّ الْمُجْرِمُونَ |
Famā Lanā Min Shāfi`īna  | 026.100 "'Now, then, we have none to intercede (for us), | فَمَا لَنَا مِنْ شَافِعِينَ |
Wa Lā Şadīqin Ĥamīmin  | 026.101 "'Nor a single friend to feel (for us). | وَلاَ صَدِيقٍ حَمِيم ٍ |
Falaw 'Anna Lanā Karratan Fanakūna Mina Al-Mu'uminīna  | 026.102 "'Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!'" | فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّة ً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna  | 026.103 Verily in this is a Sign but most of them do not believe. | إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَة ً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ |
Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu  | 026.104 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. | وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ |
Kadhdhabat Qawmu Nūĥin Al-Mursalīna  | 026.105 The people of Noah rejected the apostles. | كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوح ٍ الْمُرْسَلِينَ |
'Idh Qāla Lahum 'Akhūhum Nūĥun 'Alā Tattaqūna  | 026.106 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (God)? | إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلاَ تَتَّقُونَ |
'Innī Lakum Rasūlun 'Amīnun  | 026.107 "I am to you an apostle worthy of all trust: | إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِين ٌ |
Fāttaqū Allāha Wa 'Aţī`ūni  | 026.108 "So fear God, and obey me. | فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ |
Wa Mā 'As'alukum `Alayhi Min 'Ajrin 'In 'Ajrī 'Illā `Alá Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna  | 026.109 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: | وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْر ٍ إِنْ أَجْرِي إِلاَّ عَلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ |
Fāttaqū Allāha Wa 'Aţī`ūni  | 026.110 "So fear God, and obey me." | فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ |
Qālū 'Anu'uminu Laka Wa Attaba`aka Al-'Ardhalūna  | 026.111 They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" | قَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَاتَّبَعَكَ الأَرْذَلُونَ |
Qāla Wa Mā `Ilmī Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna  | 026.112 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? | قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِي بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ |
'In Ĥisābuhum 'Illā `Alá Rabbī Law Tash`urūna  | 026.113 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. | إِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ إِلاَّ عَلَى رَبِّي لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ |
Wa Mā 'Anā Biţāridi Al-Mu'uminīna  | 026.114 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. | وَمَا أَنَا بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
'In 'Anā 'Illā Nadhīrun Mubīnun  | 026.115 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." | إِنْ أَنَا إِلاَّ نَذِير ٌ مُبِين ٌ |
Qālū La'in Lam Tantahi Yā Nūĥu Latakūnanna Mina Al-Marjūmīna  | 026.116 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." | قَالُوا لَئِنْ لَمْ تَنْتَه ِِ يَانُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمَرْجُومِينَ |
Qāla Rabbi 'Inna Qawmī Kadhdhabūni  | 026.117 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. | قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي كَذَّبُونِ |
Fāftaĥ Baynī Wa Baynahum Fatĥāan Wa Najjinī Wa Man Ma`ī Mina Al-Mu'uminīna  | 026.118 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." | فَافْتَحْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحا ً وَنَجِّنِي وَمَنْ مَعِي مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
Fa'anjaynāhu Wa Man Ma`ahu Fī Al-Fulki Al-Mashĥūni  | 026.119 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). | فَأَنجَيْنَاه ُُ وَمَنْ مَعَه ُُ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ |
Thumma 'Aghraqnā Ba`du Al-Bāqīna  | 026.120 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. | ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ الْبَاقِينَ |
'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna  | 026.121 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. | إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَة ً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ |

Kadhdhabat `Ādun Al-Mursalīna  | 026.123 The 'Ad (people) rejected the apostles. | كَذَّبَتْ عَاد ٌ الْمُرْسَلِينَ |
'Idh Qāla Lahum 'Akhūhum Hūdun 'Alā Tattaqūna  | 026.124 Behold, their brother Hud said to them: "Will ye not fear (God)? | إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ هُودٌ أَلاَ تَتَّقُونَ |
'Innī Lakum Rasūlun 'Amīnun  | 026.125 "I am to you an apostle worthy of all trust: | إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِين ٌ |
Fāttaqū Allāha Wa 'Aţī`ūni  | 026.126 |
