Ţā-Sīn-Mīm (Ash-Shu`arā': 1). 026.001 Ta. Sin. Mim. طَ‍‍ا-سِي‍‌‍ن‍‍-مِيم
Tilka 'Āyātu Al-Kitābi Al-Mubīni (Ash-Shu`arā': 2). 026.002 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. تِلْكَ ‌آي‍‍َاتُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ ‌الْمُبِينِ
La`allaka Bākhi`un Nafsaka 'Allā Yakūnū Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 3). 026.003 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. لَعَلَّكَ بَا‍‍خِ‍‍عٌ نَفْسَكَ ‌أَلاَّ‌ يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ
'In Nasha' Nunazzil `Alayhim Mina As-Samā'i 'Āyatan Fažallat 'A`nāquhum Lahā Khāđi`īna (Ash-Shu`arā': 4). 026.004 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. إِ‌ن‌ْ نَشَأْ‌ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ آيَةً فَ‍‍‍‍ظَ‍‍لَّتْ ‌أَعْنَاقُ‍‍هُمْ لَهَا‌ خَ‍‍اضِ‍‍عِينَ
Wa Mā Ya'tīhim Min Dhikrin Mina Ar-Raĥmani Muĥdathin 'Illā Kānū `Anhu Mu`rīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 5). 026.005 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (God) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. وَمَا‌ يَأْتِيهِمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذِكْر‌ٍ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍‍‍رَّحْمَنِ مُحْدَثٍ ‌إِلاَّ‌ كَانُوا عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ مُعْ‍‍رِ‍ضِ‍‍ينَ
Faqad Kadhdhabū Fasaya'tīhim 'Anbā'u Mā Kānū Bihi Yastahzi'ūn (Ash-Shu`arā': 6). 026.006 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ كَذَّبُوا فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍ب‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ مَا‌ كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئ‍‍ُ‍‍ون
'Awalam Yarawā 'Ilá Al-'Arđi Kam 'Anbatnā Fīhā Min Kulli Zawjin Karīmin (Ash-Shu`arā': 7). 026.007 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? أَ‌وَلَمْ يَ‍‍‍رَ‌وْ‌ا إِلَى‌ ‌الأَ‌رْضِ كَمْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍بَتْنَا‌ فِيهَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كُلِّ ‌زَ‌وْجٍ كَ‍‍رِيمٍ
'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan ۖ Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 8). 026.008 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu (Ash-Shu`arā': 9). 026.009 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍‍‍رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌ال‍رَّحِيمُ
Wa 'Idh Nādá Rabbuka Mūsá 'Ani A'ti Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 10). 026.010 Behold, thy Lord called Moses: "Go to the people of iniquity,- وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ نَا‌دَ‌ى ‍‍‍رَبُّكَ مُوسَ‍‍ى أَنِ ‌ائْتِ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمَ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Qawma Fir`awna ۚ 'Alā Yattaqūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 11). 026.011 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear God?" قَ‍‍وْمَ فِ‍‍ر‌ْعَ‍‍وْنَ ۚ ‌أَلاَ‌ يَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Qāla Rabbi 'Innī 'Akhāfu 'An Yukadhdhibūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 12). 026.012 He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood: قَ‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‍خَ‍افُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يُكَذِّبُونِ
Wa Yađīqu Şadrī Wa Lā Yanţaliqu Lisānī Fa'arsil 'Ilá Hārūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 13). 026.013 "My breast will be straitened. And my speech may not go (smoothly): so send unto Aaron. وَيَ‍‍ضِ‍‍ي‍‍قُ صَ‍‍دْ‌رِي ‌وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍طَ‍‍لِ‍‍قُ لِسَانِي فَأَ‌رْسِلْ ‌إِلَى‌ هَا‌رُ‌ونَ
Wa Lahum `Alayya Dhanbun Fa'akhāfu 'An Yaqtulūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 14). 026.014 "And (further), they have a charge of crime against me; and I fear they may slay me." وَلَهُمْ عَلَيَّ ‌ذَ‌نْ‍‍بٌ فَأَ‍‍خَ‍افُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تُلُونِ
Qāla Kallā ۖdh/habā Bi'āyātinā ۖ 'Innā Ma`akum Mustami`ūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 15). 026.015 God said: "By no means! proceed then, both of you, with Our Signs; We are with you, and will listen (to your call). قَ‍الَ كَلاَّ ۖ فَا‌ذْهَبَا‌ بِآيَاتِنَ‍‍اۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ مَعَكُمْ مُسْتَمِعُونَ
Fa'tiyā Fir`awna Faqūlā 'Innā Rasūlu Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 16). 026.016 "So go forth, both of you, to Pharaoh, and say: 'We have been sent by the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds; فَأْتِيَا‌ فِ‍‍ر‌ْعَ‍‍وْنَ فَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ولاَ إِنَّ‍‍ا ‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولُ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
'An 'Arsil Ma`anā Banī 'Isrā'īla (Ash-Shu`arā': 17). 026.017 "'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'" أَ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌رْسِلْ مَعَنَا‌ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍‍يلَ
Qāla 'Alam Nurabbika Fīnā Walīdāan Wa Labithta Fīnā Min `Umurika Sinīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 18). 026.018 (Pharaoh) said: "Did we not cherish thee as a child among us, and didst thou not stay in our midst many years of thy life? قَ‍الَ ‌أَلَمْ نُ‍رَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيد‌اً ‌وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عُمُ‍‍رِكَ سِنِينَ
Wa Fa`alta Fa`lataka Allatī Fa`alta Wa 'Anta Mina Al-Kāfirīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 19). 026.019 "And thou didst a deed of thine which (thou knowest) thou didst, and thou art an ungrateful (wretch)!" وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ ‌الَّتِي فَعَلْتَ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌الْكَافِ‍‍رِينَ
Qāla Fa`altuhā 'Idhāan Wa 'Anā Mina Ađ-Đāllīn (Ash-Shu`arā': 20). 026.020 Moses said: "I did it then, when I was in error. قَ‍الَ فَعَلْتُهَ‍‍ا إِ‌ذ‌اً ‌وَ‌أَنَا‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ضَّ‍‍الِّين
Fafarartu Minkum Lammā Khiftukum Fawahaba Lī Rabbī Ĥukmāan Wa Ja`alanī Mina Al-Mursalīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 21). 026.021 "So I fled from you (all) when I feared you; but my Lord has (since) invested me with judgment (and wisdom) and appointed me as one of the apostles. فَفَ‍‍‍رَ‌رْتُ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ لَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ خِ‍‍فْتُكُمْ فَوَهَبَ لِي ‌‍رَبِّي حُكْماً ‌وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ ‌الْمُرْسَلِينَ
Wa Tilka Ni`matun Tamunnuhā `Alayya 'An `Abbadta Banī 'Isrā'īla (Ash-Shu`arā': 22). 026.022 "And this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel!" وَتِلْكَ نِعْمَةٌ تَمُ‍‍نُّ‍‍هَا‌ عَلَيَّ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ عَبَّ‍‍دْتَ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍‍يلَ
Qāla Fir`awnu Wa Mā Rabbu Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 23). 026.023 Pharaoh said: "And what is the 'Lord and Cherisher of the worlds'?" قَ‍الَ فِ‍‍ر‌ْعَ‍‍وْنُ ‌وَمَا ‍رَبُّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Qāla Rabbu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Baynahumā ۖ 'In Kuntumqinīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 24). 026.024 (Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." قَ‍الَ ‌‍رَبُّ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَمَا‌ بَيْنَهُمَ‍‍اۖ ‌إ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ مُوقِ‍‍نِينَ
Qāla Liman Ĥawlahu 'Alā Tastami`ūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 25). 026.025 (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Did ye not listen (to what he says)?" قَ‍الَ لِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ حَوْلَهُ ‌أَلاَ‌ تَسْتَمِعُونَ
Qāla Rabbukum Wa Rabbu 'Ābā'ikumu Al-'Awwalīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 26). 026.026 (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers from the beginning!" قَ‍الَ ‌‍رَبُّكُمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَبُّ ‌آب‍‍َائِكُمُ ‌الأَ‌وَّلِينَ
Qāla 'Inna Rasūlakumu Al-Ladhī 'Ursila 'Ilaykum Lamajnūnun (Ash-Shu`arā': 27). 026.027 (Pharaoh) said: "Truly your apostle who has been sent to you is a veritable madman!" قَ‍الَ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍رَسُولَكُمُ ‌الَّذِي ‌أُ‌رْسِلَ ‌إِلَيْكُمْ لَمَ‍‍جْ‍‍نُونٌ
Qāla Rabbu Al-Mashriqi Wa Al-Maghribi Wa Mā Baynahumā ۖ 'In Kuntum Ta`qilūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 28). 026.028 (Moses) said: "Lord of the East and the West, and all between! if ye only had sense!" قَ‍الَ ‌‍رَبُّ ‌الْمَشْ‍‍رِ‍قِ ‌وَ‌الْمَ‍‍غْ‍‍رِبِ ‌وَمَا‌ بَيْنَهُمَ‍‍اۖ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ تَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍لُونَ
Qāla La'ini Attakhadhta 'Ilahāan Ghayr99 La'aj`alannaka Mina Al-Masjūnīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 29). 026.029 (Pharaoh) said: "If thou dost put forward any god other than me, I will certainly put thee in prison!" قَ‍الَ لَئِنِ ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذْتَ ‌إِلَهَاً‌ غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِي لَأَجْ‍‍عَلَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كَ مِنَ ‌الْمَسْجُونِينَ
Qāla 'Awalaw Ji'tuka Bishay'in Mubīnin (Ash-Shu`arā': 30). 026.030 (Moses) said: "Even if I showed you something clear (and) convincing?" قَ‍الَ ‌أَ‌وَلَوْ‌ جِئْتُكَ بِشَ‍‍يْء‌ٍ مُبِينٍ
Qāla Fa'ti Bihi 'In Kunta Mina Aş-Şādiqīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 31). 026.031 (Pharaoh) said: "Show it then, if thou tellest the truth!" قَ‍الَ فَأْتِ بِهِ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِ‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Fa'alqá `Aşāhu Fa'idhā Hiya Thu`bānun Mubīnun (Ash-Shu`arā': 32). 026.032 So (Moses) threw his rod, and behold, it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! فَأَلْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ عَ‍‍صَ‍اهُ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هِيَ ثُعْب‍‍َانٌ مُبِينٌ
Wa Naza`a Yadahu Fa'idhā Hiya Bayđā'u Lilnnāžirīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 33). 026.033 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هِيَ بَيْ‍‍‍‍ضَ‍‍ا‌ءُ‌ لِل‍‍نَّ‍‍اظِ‍‍رِينَ
Qāla Lilmala'i Ĥawlahu 'Inna Hādhā Lasāĥirun `Alīmun (Ash-Shu`arā': 34). 026.034 (Pharaoh) said to the Chiefs around him: "This is indeed a sorcerer well-versed: قَ‍الَ لِلْمَلَإِ‌ حَوْلَهُ ‌إِنَّ هَذَ‌ا‌ لَسَاحِرٌ‌ عَلِيمٌ
Yurīdu 'An Yukhrijakum Min 'Arđikum Bisiĥrihi Famādhā Ta'murūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 35). 026.035 "His plan is to get you out of your land by his sorcery; then what is it ye counsel?" يُ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دُ أَ‌ن‌ْ يُ‍‍‍‍خْ‍‍رِجَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌رْضِ‍‍كُمْ بِسِحْ‍‍رِهِ فَمَا‌ذَ‌ا‌ تَأْمُرُ‌ونَ
Qālū 'Arjihi Wa 'Akhāhu Wa Ab`ath Al-Madā'ini Ĥāshirīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 36). 026.036 They said: "Keep him and his brother in suspense (for a while), and dispatch to the Cities heralds to collect- قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‌رْجِهِ ‌وَ‌أَ‍خَ‍اهُ ‌وَ‌ابْ‍‍عَثْ فِي ‌الْمَد‍َ‍‌ائِنِ حَاشِ‍‍رِينَ
Ya'tūka Bikulli Saĥĥārin `Alīmin (Ash-Shu`arā': 37). 026.037 "And bring up to thee all (our) sorcerers well-versed." يَأْت‍‍ُ‍وكَ بِكُلِّ سَحّ‍‍َا‌رٍ‌ عَلِيمٍ
Fajumi`a As-Saĥaratu Limīqāti Yawmin Ma`lūmin (Ash-Shu`arā': 38). 026.038 So the sorcerers were got together for the appointment of a day well-known, فَجُمِعَ ‌ال‍‍سَّحَ‍‍‍رَةُ لِمِي‍‍قَ‍اتِ يَ‍‍وْمٍ مَعْلُومٍ
Wa Qīla Lilnnāsi Hal 'Antum Mujtami`ūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 39). 026.039 And the people were told: "Are ye (now) assembled?- وَ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍لَ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ هَلْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ مُ‍‍جْ‍‍تَمِعُونَ
La`allanā Nattabi`u As-Saĥarata 'In Kānū Humu Al-Ghālibīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 40). 026.040 "That we may follow the sorcerers (in religion) if they win?" لَعَلَّنَا‌ نَتَّبِعُ ‌ال‍‍سَّحَ‍‍‍رَةَ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كَانُوا هُمُ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍الِبِينَ
Falammā Jā'a As-Saĥaratu Qālū Lifir`awna 'A'inna Lanā La'ajan 'In Kunnā Naĥnu Al-Ghālibīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 41). 026.041 So when the sorcerers arrived, they said to Pharaoh: "Of course - shall we have a (suitable) reward if we win? فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍‍سَّحَ‍‍‍رَةُ قَ‍‍الُوا لِفِ‍‍ر‌ْعَ‍‍وْنَ ‌أَئِ‍‍نّ‌َ لَنَا‌ لَأَجْ‍‍ر‌اً ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ نَحْنُ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍الِبِينَ
Qāla Na`am Wa 'Innakum 'Idhāan Lamina Al-Muqarrabīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 42). 026.042 He said: "Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)." قَ‍الَ نَعَمْ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍كُمْ ‌إِ‌ذ‌اً لَمِنَ ‌الْمُ‍‍قَ‍رَّبِينَ
Qāla Lahum Mūsá 'Alqū Mā 'Antum Mulqūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 43). 026.043 Moses said to them: "Throw ye - that which ye are about to throw!" قَ‍الَ لَهُمْ مُوسَ‍‍ى أَلْ‍‍قُ‍‍وا مَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ مُلْ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Fa'alqawā Ĥibālahum Wa `Işīyahum Wa Qālū Bi`izzati Fir`awna 'Innā Lanaĥnu Al-Ghālibūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 44). 026.044 So they threw their ropes and their rods, and said: "By the might of Pharaoh, it is we who will certainly win!" فَأَلْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍وْ‌ا‌ حِبَالَهُمْ ‌وَعِ‍‍صِ‍‍يَّهُمْ ‌وَقَ‍‍الُوا بِعِزَّةِ فِ‍‍ر‌ْعَ‍‍وْنَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَنَحْنُ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍الِبُونَ
Fa'alqá Mūsá `Aşāhu Fa'idhā Hiya Talqafu Mā Ya'fikūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 45). 026.045 Then Moses threw his rod, when, behold, it straightway swallows up all the falsehoods which they fake! فَأَلْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ مُوسَى‌ عَ‍‍صَ‍اهُ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هِيَ تَلْ‍‍قَ‍‍فُ مَا‌ يَأْفِكُونَ
Fa'ulqiya As-Saĥaratu Sājidīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 46). 026.046 Then did the sorcerers fall down, prostrate in adoration, فَأُلْ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍يَ ‌ال‍‍سَّحَ‍رَةُ سَاجِدِينَ
Qālū 'Āmannā Birabbi Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 47). 026.047 Saying: "We believe in the Lord of the Worlds, قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِ‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Rabbi Mūsá Wa Hārūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 48). 026.048 "The Lord of Moses and Aaron." ‍‍‍رَبِّ مُوسَى وَهَا‌رُ‌ونَ
Qāla 'Āmantum Lahu Qabla 'An 'Ādhana Lakum ۖ 'Innahu Lakabīrukumu Al-Ladhī `Allamakumu As-Siĥra Falasawfa Ta`lamūna ۚ La'uqaţţi`anna 'Aydiyakum Wa 'Arjulakum Min Khilāfin Wa La'uşallibannakum 'Ajma`īna (Ash-Shu`arā': 49). 026.049 Said (Pharaoh): "Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? surely he is your leader, who has taught you sorcery! but soon shall ye know! "Be sure I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will cause you all to die on the cross!" قَ‍الَ ‌آمَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ لَهُ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ ‌آ‌ذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ ‌الَّذِي عَلَّمَكُمُ ‌ال‍‍سِّحْ‍رَ‌ فَلَسَ‍‍وْفَ تَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ۚ لَأُقَ‍‍طِّ‍‍عَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَيْدِيَكُمْ ‌وَ‌أَ‌رْجُلَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خِ‍‍لاَفٍ ‌وَلَأُصَ‍‍لِّبَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كُمْ ‌أَجْ‍‍مَعِينَ
Qālū Lā Đayra ۖ 'Innā 'Ilá Rabbinā Munqalibūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 50). 026.050 They said: "No matter! for us, we shall but return to our Lord! قَ‍‍الُوا لاَ ضَ‍‍يْ‍رَۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا إِلَى ‍رَبِّنَا‌ مُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍لِبُونَ
'Innā Naţma`u 'An Yaghfira Lanā Rabbunā Khaţāyānā 'An Kunnā 'Awwala Al-Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 51). 026.051 "Only, our desire is that our Lord will forgive us our faults, that we may become foremost among the believers!" إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ نَ‍‍‍‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍مَعُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رَ لَنَا ‍رَبُّنَا‌ خَ‍‍طَ‍‍ايَانَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا أَ‌وَّلَ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Awĥaynā 'Ilá Mūsá 'An 'Asri Bi`ibādī 'Innakum Muttaba`ūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 52). 026.052 By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." وَ‌أَ‌وْحَيْنَ‍‍ا إِلَى‌ مُوسَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَسْ‍‍رِ بِعِبَا‌دِي ‌إِنَّ‍‍كُمْ مُتَّبَعُونَ
Fa'arsala Fir`awnu Fī Al-Madā'ini Ĥāshirīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 53). 026.053 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, فَأَ‌رْسَلَ فِ‍‍ر‌ْعَ‍‍وْنُ فِي ‌الْمَد‍َ‍‌ائِنِ حَاشِ‍‍رِينَ
'Inna Hā'uulā' Lashirdhimatun Qalīlūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 54). 026.054 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, إِنّ‌َ ه‍‍َا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء‌ لَشِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ذِمَةٌ قَ‍‍لِيلُونَ
Wa 'Innahum Lanā Laghā'ižūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 55). 026.055 "And they are raging furiously against us; وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ لَنَا‌ لَ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍ائِ‍‍ظُ‍‍ونَ
Wa 'Innā Lajamī`un Ĥādhirūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 56). 026.056 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَجَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عٌ حَا‌ذِ‌رُ‌ونَ
Fa'akhrajnāhum Min Jannātin Wa `Uyūnin (Ash-Shu`arā': 57). 026.057 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, فَأَ‍‍خْ‍رَجْ‍‍نَاهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٍ ‌وَعُيُونٍ
Wa Kunūzin Wa Maqāmin Karīmin (Ash-Shu`arā': 58). 026.058 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; وَكُن‍‍ُ‍و‌ز‌ٍ ‌وَمَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍امٍ كَ‍‍رِيمٍ
Kadhālika Wa 'Awrathnāhā Banī 'Isrā'īla (Ash-Shu`arā': 59). 026.059 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. كَذَلِكَ ‌وَ‌أَ‌وْ‌‍‍‍رَثْنَاهَا‌ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍‍يلَ
Fa'atba`ūhum Mushriqīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 60). 026.060 So they pursued them at sunrise. فَأَتْبَعُوهُمْ مُشْ‍‍رِ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Falammā Tarā'á Al-Jam`āni Qāla 'Aşĥābu Mūsá 'Innā Lamudrakūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 61). 026.061 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تَر‍َ‌اءَ‌ى‌ ‌الْجَمْع‍‍َانِ قَ‍الَ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َابُ مُوسَ‍‍ى إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَمُ‍‍دْ‌‍رَكُونَ
Qāla Kallā ۖ 'Inna Ma`iya Rabbī Sayahdīni (Ash-Shu`arā': 62). 026.062 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" قَ‍الَ كَلاَّ ۖ ‌إِنَّ مَعِيَ ‌‍رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ
Fa'awĥaynā 'Ilá Mūsá 'Ani Ađrib Bi`aşāka Al-Baĥra ۖnfalaqa Fakāna Kullu Firqin Kālţţawdi Al-`Ažīmi (Ash-Shu`arā': 63). 026.063 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. فَأَ‌وْحَيْنَ‍‍ا إِلَى‌ مُوسَ‍‍ى أَنِ ‌ا‍‍ضْ‍‍رِب‌ْ بِعَ‍‍صَ‍اكَ ‌الْبَحْ‍رَۖ فَا‌ن‍‍فَلَ‍‍قَ فَك‍‍َانَ كُلُّ فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‍‍قٍ كَال‍‍طَّ‍‍وْ‌دِ‌ ‌الْعَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمِ
Wa 'Azlafnā Thamma Al-'Ākharīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 64). 026.064 And We made the other party approach thither. وَ‌أَ‌زْلَفْنَا‌ ثَ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌الآ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍رِينَ
Wa 'Anjaynā Mūsá Wa Man Ma`ahu 'Ajma`īna (Ash-Shu`arā': 65). 026.065 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍جَيْنَا‌ مُوسَى وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَعَهُ ‌أَجْ‍‍مَعِينَ
Thumma 'Aghraq Al-'Ākharīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 66). 026.066 But We drowned the others. ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌أَ‍‍غْ‍رَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَا‌ ‌الآ‍‍خَ‍‍رِينَ
'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan ۖ Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 67). 026.067 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu (Ash-Shu`arā': 68). 026.068 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍‍‍رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌ال‍رَّحِيمُ
Wa Atlu `Alayhim Naba'a 'Ibhīma (Ash-Shu`arā': 69). 026.069 And rehearse to them (something of) Abraham's story. وَ‌اتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ إِبْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌اهِيمَ
'Idh Qāla Li'abīhi Wa Qawmihi Mā Ta`budūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 70). 026.070 Behold, he said to his father and his people: "What worship ye?" إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ لِأَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌وَقَ‍‍وْمِهِ مَا‌ تَعْبُدُ‌ونَ
Qālū Na`budu 'Aşnāmāan Fanažallu Lahā `Ākifīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 71). 026.071 They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them." قَ‍‍الُوا نَعْبُدُ أَ‍صْ‍‍نَاماً فَنَ‍‍ظَ‍‍لُّ لَهَا‌ عَاكِفِينَ
Qāla Hal Yasma`ūnakum 'Idh Tad`ūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 72). 026.072 He said: "Do they listen to you when ye call (on them)," قَ‍الَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ تَ‍‍دْعُونَ
'Aw Yanfa`ūnakum 'Aw Yađurrūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 73). 026.073 or do you good or harm?" أَ‌وْ‌ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍فَعُونَكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يَ‍‍‍‍ضُ‍‍رُّ‌ونَ
Qālū Bal Wajadnā 'Ābā'anā Kadhālika Yaf`alūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 74). 026.074 They said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing thus (what we do)." قَ‍‍الُوا بَلْ ‌وَجَ‍‍دْنَ‍‍ا آب‍‍َا‌ءَنَا‌ كَذَلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ
Qāla 'Afara'aytum Mā Kuntum Ta`budūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 75). 026.075 He said: "Do ye then see whom ye have been worshipping,- قَ‍الَ ‌أَفَ‍رَ‌أَيْتُمْ مَا‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ تَعْبُدُ‌ونَ
'Antum Wa 'Ābā'uukumu Al-'Aqdamūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 76). 026.076 "Ye and your fathers before you?- أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ ‌وَ‌آب‍‍َا‌ؤُكُمُ ‌الأَ‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍دَمُونَ
Fa'innahum `Adūwun Lī 'Illā Rabba Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 77). 026.077 "For they are enemies to me; not so the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds; فَإِنَّ‍‍هُمْ عَدُ‌وّ‌ٌ لِ‍‍ي ‌إِلاَّ ‍‍‍رَبَّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Al-Ladhī Khalaqanī Fahuwa Yahdīni (Ash-Shu`arā': 78). 026.078 "Who created me, and it is He Who guides me; ‌الَّذِي خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ‍‍نِي فَهُوَ‌ يَهْدِينِ
Wa Al-Ladhī Huwa Yuţ`imunī Wa Yasqīni (Ash-Shu`arā': 79). 026.079 "Who gives me food and drink, وَ‌الَّذِي هُوَ‌ يُ‍‍‍‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍عِمُنِي ‌وَيَسْ‍‍قِ‍‍ينِ
Wa 'Idhā Mariđtu Fahuwa Yashfīni (Ash-Shu`arā': 80). 026.080 "And when I am ill, it is He Who cures me; وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ مَ‍‍رِ‍‍‍‍ضْ‍‍تُ فَهُوَ‌ يَشْفِينِ
Wa Al-Ladhī Yumītunī Thumma Yuĥyīni (Ash-Shu`arā': 81). 026.081 "Who will cause me to die, and then to life (again); وَ‌الَّذِي يُمِيتُنِي ثُ‍‍مَّ‍ يُحْيِينِ
Wa Al-Ladhī 'Aţma`u 'An Yaghfira Lī Khaţī'atī Yawma Ad-Dīni (Ash-Shu`arā': 82). 026.082 "And who, I hope, will forgive me my faults on the day of Judgment. وَ‌الَّذِي ‌أَ‍‍‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍مَعُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رَ لِي خَ‍‍ط‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍ئَتِي يَ‍‍وْمَ ‌ال‍‍دِّينِ
Rabbi Hab Lī Ĥukmāan Wa 'Alĥiqnī Biş-Şāliĥīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 83). 026.083 "O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous; ‍‍‍رَبِّ هَ‍‍ب‌ْ لِي حُكْماً ‌وَ‌أَلْحِ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍نِي بِ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِحِينَ
Wa Aj`al Lī Lisāna Şidqin Al-'Ākhirīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 84). 026.084 "Grant me honourable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations); وَ‌اجْ‍‍عَلْ لِي لِس‍‍َانَ صِ‍‍دْ‍قٍ فِي ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Aj`alnī Min Warathati Jannati An-Na`īmi (Ash-Shu`arā': 85). 026.085 "Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss; وَ‌اجْ‍‍عَلْنِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وَ‌‍‍‍رَثَةِ جَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةِ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍عِيمِ
Wa Aghfir Li'abī 'Innahu Kāna Mina Ađ-Đāllīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 86). 026.086 "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray; وَ‌ا‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لِأَبِ‍‍ي ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ ك‍‍َانَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ضَّ‍‍الِّينَ
Wa Lā Tukhzinī Yawma Yub`athūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 87). 026.087 "And let me not be in disgrace on the Day when (men) will be raised up;- وَلاَ‌ تُ‍‍‍‍خْ‍‍زِنِي يَ‍‍وْمَ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍عَثُونَ
Yawma Lā Yanfa`u Mālun Wa Lā Banūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 88). 026.088 "The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, يَ‍‍وْمَ لاَ‌ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍فَعُ م‍‍َالٌ ‌وَلاَ‌ بَنُونَ
'Illā Man 'Atá Allāha Biqalbin Salīmin (Ash-Shu`arā': 89). 026.089 "But only he (will prosper) that brings to God a sound heart; إِلاَّ‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَتَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ بِ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍لْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
Wa 'Uzlifati Al-Jannatu Lilmuttaqīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 90). 026.090 "To the righteous, the Garden will be brought near, وَ‌أُ‌زْلِفَتِ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةُ لِلْمُتَّ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Wa Burrizati Al-Jaĥīmu Lilghāwīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 91). 026.091 "And to those straying in Evil, the Fire will be placed in full view; وَبُرِّ‌زَتِ ‌الْجَح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مُ لِلْ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌وِينَ
Wa Qīla Lahum 'Ayna Mā Kuntum Ta`budūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 92). 026.092 "And it shall be said to them: 'Where are the (gods) ye worshipped- وَ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍لَ لَهُمْ ‌أَيْ‍‍نَ مَا‌ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تُمْ تَعْبُدُ‌ونَ
Min Dūni Allāhi Hal Yanşurūnakum 'Aw Yantaşirūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 93). 026.093 "'Besides God? Can they help you or help themselves?' مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ هَلْ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍‍‍صُ‍‍رُ‌ونَكُمْ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَ‍‍صِ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Fakubkibū Fīhā Hum Wa Al-Ghāwūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 94). 026.094 "Then they will be thrown headlong into the (Fire),- they and those straying in Evil, فَكُ‍‍بْ‍‍كِبُوا فِيهَا‌ هُمْ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌وُ‌ونَ
Wa Junūdu 'Iblīsa 'Ajma`ūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 95). 026.095 "And the whole hosts of Iblis together. وَجُن‍‍ُ‍و‌دُ إِبْ‍‍ل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍سَ ‌أَجْ‍‍مَعُونَ
Qālū Wa Hum Fīhā Yakhtaşimūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 96). 026.096 "They will say there in their mutual bickerings: قَ‍‍الُوا ‌وَهُمْ فِيهَا‌ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍تَ‍‍صِ‍‍مُونَ
Ta-Allāhi 'In Kunnā Lafī Đalālin Mubīnin (Ash-Shu`arā': 97). 026.097 "'By God, we were truly in an error manifest, تَاللَّهِ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لَفِي ضَ‍‍لاَلٍ مُبِينٍ
'Idh Nusaww99kum Birabbi Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 98). 026.098 "'When we held you as equals with the Lord of the Worlds; إِ‌ذْ‌ نُسَوِّيكُمْ بِ‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa Mā 'Ađallanā 'Illā Al-Mujrimūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 99). 026.099 "'And our seducers were only those who were steeped in guilt. وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‍‍ضَ‍‍لَّنَ‍‍ا إِلاَّ ‌الْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِمُونَ
Famā Lanā Min Shāfi`īna (Ash-Shu`arā': 100). 026.100 "'Now, then, we have none to intercede (for us), فَمَا‌ لَنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَافِعِينَ
Wa Lā Şadīqin Ĥamīmin (Ash-Shu`arā': 101). 026.101 "'Nor a single friend to feel (for us). وَلاَ صَ‍‍د‍ِ‍ي‍‍قٍ حَمِيمٍ
Falaw 'Anna Lanā Karratan Fanakūna Mina Al-Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 102). 026.102 "'Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!'" فَلَوْ أَنّ‌َ لَنَا‌ كَ‍‍‍رَّةً فَنَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِنَ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan ۖ Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 103). 026.103 Verily in this is a Sign but most of them do not believe. إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu (Ash-Shu`arā': 104). 026.104 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍‍‍رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌ال‍رَّحِيمُ
Kadhdhabat Qawmu Nūĥin Al-Mursalīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 105). 026.105 The people of Noah rejected the apostles. كَذَّبَتْ قَ‍‍وْمُ ن‍‍ُ‍وحٍ ‌الْمُرْسَلِينَ
'Idh Qāla Lahum 'Akhūhum Nūĥun 'Alā Tattaqūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 106). 026.106 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (God)? إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ لَهُمْ ‌أَ‍خُ‍‍وهُمْ ن‍‍ُ‍وحٌ ‌أَلاَ‌ تَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
'Innī Lakum Rasūlun 'Amīnun (Ash-Shu`arā': 107). 026.107 "I am to you an apostle worthy of all trust: إِنِّ‍‍ي لَكُمْ ‌‍‍‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٌ ‌أَمِينٌ
Fāttaqū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 108). 026.108 "So fear God, and obey me. فَاتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُونِ
Wa Mā 'As'alukum `Alayhi Min 'Ajrin ۖ 'In 'Ajrī 'Illā `Alá Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 109). 026.109 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: وَمَ‍‍ا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَجْ‍‍ر‌‌ٍ ۖ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَجْ‍‍رِي ‌إِلاَّ‌ عَلَى ‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Fāttaqū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 110). 026.110 "So fear God, and obey me." فَاتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُونِ
Qālū 'Anu'uminu Laka Wa Attaba`aka Al-'Ardhalūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 111). 026.111 They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ ‌وَ‌اتَّبَعَكَ ‌الأَ‌رْ‌ذَلُونَ
Qāla Wa Mā `Ilmī Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 112). 026.112 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? قَ‍الَ ‌وَمَا‌ عِلْمِي بِمَا‌ كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
'In Ĥisābuhum 'Illā `Alá Rabbī ۖ Law Tash`urūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 113). 026.113 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. إِ‌ن‌ْ حِسَابُهُمْ ‌إِلاَّ‌ عَلَى ‍‍‍رَبِّي ۖ لَوْ‌ تَشْعُرُ‌ونَ
Wa Mā 'Anā Biţāridi Al-Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 114). 026.114 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. وَمَ‍‍ا أَنَا‌ بِ‍‍‍‍طَ‍‍ا‌رِ‌دِ‌ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
'In 'Anā 'Illā Nadhīrun Mubīnun (Ash-Shu`arā': 115). 026.115 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَنَ‍‍ا إِلاَّ‌ نَذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ مُبِينٌ
Qālū La'in Lam Tantahi Yā Nūĥu Latakūnanna Mina Al-Marjūmīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 116). 026.116 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." قَ‍‍الُوا لَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَمْ تَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَهِ يَان‍‍ُ‍وحُ لَتَكُونَ‍‍نّ‌َ مِنَ ‌الْمَرْجُومِينَ
Qāla Rabbi 'Inna Qawm99 Kadhdhabūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 117). 026.117 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. قَ‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌إِنَّ قَ‍‍وْمِي كَذَّبُونِ
Fāftaĥ Bayn99 Wa Baynahum Fatĥāan Wa Najjinī Wa Man Ma`ī Mina Al-Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 118). 026.118 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." فَافْتَحْ بَيْنِي ‌وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحاً ‌وَنَجِّنِي ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَعِي مِنَ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Fa'anjaynāhu Wa Man Ma`ahu Fī Al-Fulki Al-Mashĥūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 119). 026.119 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). فَأَ‌ن‍‍جَيْن‍‍َاهُ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَعَهُ فِي ‌الْفُلْكِ ‌الْمَشْحُونِ
Thumma 'Aghraqnā Ba`du Al-Bāqīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 120). 026.120 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌أَ‍‍غْ‍رَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَا‌ بَعْدُ‌ ‌الْبَاقِ‍‍ينَ
'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan ۖ Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 121). 026.121 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu (Ash-Shu`arā': 122). 026.122 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍‍‍رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌ال‍رَّحِيمُ
Kadhdhabat `Ādun Al-Mursalīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 123). 026.123 The 'Ad (people) rejected the apostles. كَذَّبَتْ ع‍‍َا‌دٌ ‌الْمُرْسَلِينَ
'Idh Qāla Lahum 'Akhūhum Hūdun 'Alā Tattaqūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 124). 026.124 Behold, their brother Hud said to them: "Will ye not fear (God)? إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ لَهُمْ ‌أَ‍خُ‍‍وهُمْ ه‍‍ُ‍و‌دٌ أَلاَ‌ تَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
'Innī Lakum Rasūlun 'Amīnun (Ash-Shu`arā': 125). 026.125 "I am to you an apostle worthy of all trust: إِنِّ‍‍ي لَكُمْ ‌‍‍‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٌ ‌أَمِينٌ
Fāttaqū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 126). 026.126 "So fear God and obey me. فَاتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُونِ
Wa Mā 'As'alukum `Alayhi Min 'Ajrin ۖ 'In 'Ajrī 'Illā `Alá Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 127). 026.127 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds. وَمَ‍‍ا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَجْ‍‍ر‌‌ٍ ۖ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَجْ‍‍رِي ‌إِلاَّ‌ عَلَى ‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
'Atabnūna Bikulli Rī`in 'Āyatan Ta`bathūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 128). 026.128 "Do ye build a landmark on every high place to amuse yourselves? أَتَ‍‍بْ‍‍ن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِكُلِّ ‌ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍عٍ ‌آيَةً تَعْبَثُونَ
Wa Tattakhidhūna Maşāni`a La`allakum Takhludūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 129). 026.129 "And do ye get for yourselves fine buildings in the hope of living therein (for ever)? وَتَتَّ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍ذ‍ُ‍‌ونَ مَ‍‍صَ‍‍انِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُدُ‌ونَ
Wa 'Idhā Baţashtum Baţashtum Jabbārīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 130). 026.130 "And when ye exert your strong hand, do ye do it like men of absolute power? وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ بَ‍‍‍‍طَ‍‍شْتُمْ بَ‍‍طَ‍‍شْتُمْ جَبَّا‌رِينَ
Fāttaqū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 131). 026.131 "Now fear God, and obey me. فَاتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُونِ
Wa Attaqū Al-Ladhī 'Amaddakum Bimā Ta`lamūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 132). 026.132 "Yea, fear Him Who has bestowed on you freely all that ye know. وَ‌اتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌الَّذِي‍ ‌أَمَدَّكُمْ بِمَا‌ تَعْلَمُونَ
'Amaddakum Bi'an`āmin Wa Banīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 133). 026.133 "Freely has He bestowed on you cattle and sons,- أَمَدَّكُمْ بِأَ‌نْ‍‍ع‍‍َامٍ ‌وَبَنِينَ
Wa Jannātin Wa `Uyūnin (Ash-Shu`arā': 134). 026.134 "And Gardens and Springs. وَجَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٍ ‌وَعُيُونٍ
'Innī 'Akhāfu `Alaykum `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin (Ash-Shu`arā': 135). 026.135 "Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Great Day." إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‍‍خَ‍افُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ يَ‍‍وْمٍ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٍ
Qālū Sawā'un `Alaynā 'Awa`ažta 'Am Lam Takun Mina Al-Wā`ižīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 136). 026.136 They said: "It is the same to us whether thou admonish us or be not among (our) admonishers! قَ‍‍الُوا سَو‍َ‌اءٌ‌ عَلَيْنَ‍‍ا أَ‌وَعَ‍‍ظْ‍‍تَ ‌أَمْ لَمْ تَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مِنَ ‌الْوَ‌اعِ‍‍ظِ‍‍ينَ
'In Hādhā 'Illā Khuluqu Al-'Awwalīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 137). 026.137 "This is no other than a customary device of the ancients, إِ‌ن‌ْ هَذَ‌ا إِلاَّ خُ‍‍لُ‍‍قُ ‌الأَ‌وَّلِينَ
Wa Mā Naĥnu Bimu`adhdhabīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 138). 026.138 "And we are not the ones to receive Pains and Penalties!" وَمَا‌ نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
Fakadhdhabūhu Fa'ahlaknāhum ۗ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan ۖ Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 139). 026.139 So they rejected him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. فَكَذَّب‍‍ُ‍وهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu (Ash-Shu`arā': 140). 026.140 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍‍‍رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌ال‍رَّحِيمُ
Kadhdhabat Thamūdu Al-Mursalīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 141). 026.141 The Thamud (people) rejected the apostles. كَذَّبَتْ ثَم‍‍ُ‍و‌دُ‌ ‌الْمُرْسَلِينَ
'Idh Qāla Lahum 'Akhūhum Şāliĥun 'Alā Tattaqūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 142). 026.142 Behold, their brother Salih said to them: "Will you not fear (God)? إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ لَهُمْ ‌أَ‍خُ‍‍وهُمْ صَ‍‍الِحٌ ‌أَلاَ‌ تَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
'Innī Lakum Rasūlun 'Amīnun (Ash-Shu`arā': 143). 026.143 "I am to you an apostle worthy of all trust. إِنِّ‍‍ي لَكُمْ ‌‍‍‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٌ ‌أَمِينٌ
Fāttaqū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 144). 026.144 "So fear God, and obey me. فَاتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُونِ
Wa Mā 'As'alukum `Alayhi Min 'Ajrin ۖ 'In 'Ajriya 'Illā `Alá Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 145). 026.145 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds. وَمَ‍‍ا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَجْ‍‍ر‌‌ٍ ۖ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَجْ‍‍رِيَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ عَلَى ‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
'Atutrakūna Fī Mā Hāhunā 'Āminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 146). 026.146 "Will ye be left secure, in (the enjoyment of) all that ye have here?- أَتُتْ‍‍‍رَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ فِي مَا‌ هَاهُنَ‍‍ا آمِنِينَ
Fī Jannātin Wa `Uyūnin (Ash-Shu`arā': 147). 026.147 "Gardens and Springs, فِي جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٍ ‌وَعُيُونٍ
Wa Zurū`in Wa Nakhlin Ţal`uhā Hađīmun (Ash-Shu`arā': 148). 026.148 "And corn-fields and date-palms with spathes near breaking (with the weight of fruit)? وَ‌زُ‌ر‍ُ‍‌وعٍ ‌وَنَ‍‍‍‍خْ‍‍لٍ طَ‍‍لْعُهَا‌ هَ‍‍ضِ‍‍يمٌ
Wa Tanĥitūna Mina Al-Jibāli Buyūtāanrihīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 149). 026.149 "And ye carve houses out of (rocky) mountains with great skill. وَتَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍حِت‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِنَ ‌الْجِب‍‍َالِ بُيُوتاً فَا‌رِهِينَ
Fāttaqū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 150). 026.150 "But fear God and obey me; فَاتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُونِ
Wa Lā Tuţī`ū 'Amra Al-Musrifīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 151). 026.151 "And follow not the bidding of those who are extravagant,- وَلاَ‌ تُ‍‍‍‍طِ‍‍يعُ‍‍وا ‌أَمْ‍رَ‌الْمُسْ‍‍رِفِينَ
Al-Ladhīna Yufsidūna Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Lā Yuşliĥūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 152). 026.152 "Who make mischief in the land, and mend not (their ways)." ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يُفْسِد‍ُ‍‌ونَ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُ‍‍صْ‍‍لِحُونَ
Qālū 'Innamā 'Anta Mina Al-Musaĥĥarīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 153). 026.153 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌الْمُسَحَّ‍‍رِينَ
Mā 'Anta 'Illā Basharun Mithlunā Fa'ti Bi'āyatin 'In Kunta Mina Aş-Şādiqīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 154). 026.154 "Thou art no more than a mortal like us: then bring us a Sign, if thou tellest the truth!" مَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بَشَرٌ مِثْلُنَا‌ فَأْتِ بِآيَةٍ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِ‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Qāla Hadhihi Nāqatun Lahā Shirbun Wa Lakum Shirbu Yawmin Ma`lūmin (Ash-Shu`arā': 155). 026.155 He said: "Here is a she-camel: she has a right of watering, and ye have a right of watering, (severally) on a day appointed. قَ‍الَ هَذِهِ نَاقَ‍‍ة ٌ لَهَا‌ شِ‍‍ر‌ْبٌ ‌وَلَكُمْ شِ‍‍ر‌ْبُ يَ‍‍وْمٍ مَعْلُومٍ
Wa Lā Tamassūhā Bisū'in Faya'khudhakum `Adhābu Yawmin `Ažīmin (Ash-Shu`arā': 156). 026.156 "Touch her not with harm, lest the Penalty of a Great Day seize you." وَلاَ‌ تَمَسُّوهَا‌ بِس‍‍ُ‍و‌ء‌‌ٍ فَيَأْ‍‍خُ‍‍ذَكُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ يَ‍‍وْمٍ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٍ
Fa`aqarūhā Fa'aşbaĥū Nādimīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 157). 026.157 But they ham-strung her: then did they become full of regrets. فَعَ‍‍قَ‍‍رُ‌وهَا‌ فَأَ‍صْ‍‍بَحُوا نَا‌دِمِينَ
Fa'akhadhahumu Al-`Adhābu ۗ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan ۖ Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 158). 026.158 But the Penalty seized them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. فَأَ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَهُمُ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu (Ash-Shu`arā': 159). 026.159 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍‍‍رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌ال‍رَّحِيمُ
Kadhdhabat Qawmu Lūţin Al-Mursalīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 160). 026.160 The people of Lut rejected the apostles. كَذَّبَتْ قَ‍‍وْمُ ل‍‍ُ‍و‍‍ط‌ٍ ‌الْمُرْسَلِينَ
'Idh Qāla Lahum 'Akhūhumţun 'Alā Tattaqūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 161). 026.161 Behold, their brother Lut said to them: "Will ye not fear (God)? إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ لَهُمْ ‌أَ‍خُ‍‍وهُمْ ل‍‍ُ‍و‍‍طٌ ‌أَلاَ‌ تَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
'Innī Lakum Rasūlun 'Amīnun (Ash-Shu`arā': 162). 026.162 "I am to you an apostle worthy of all trust. إِنِّ‍‍ي لَكُمْ ‌‍‍‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٌ ‌أَمِينٌ
Fāttaqū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 163). 026.163 "So fear God and obey me. فَاتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُونِ
Wa Mā 'As'alukum `Alayhi Min 'Ajrin ۖ 'In 'Ajriya 'Illā `Alá Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 164). 026.164 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds. وَمَ‍‍ا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَجْ‍‍ر‌‌ٍ ۖ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَجْ‍‍رِيَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ عَلَى ‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
'Ata'tūna Adh-Dhukrāna Mina Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 165). 026.165 "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, أَتَأْت‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍ذُّكْ‍‍رَ‍‌انَ مِنَ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa Tadharūna Mā Khalaqa Lakum Rabbukum Min 'Azwājikum ۚ Bal 'Antum Qawmun `Ādūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 166). 026.166 "And leave those whom God has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" وَتَذَ‌ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ مَا‌ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ لَكُمْ ‌‍رَبُّكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌زْ‌وَ‌اجِكُمْ ۚ بَلْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ قَ‍‍وْمٌ عَا‌دُ‌ونَ
Qālū La'in Lam Tantahi Yā Lūţu Latakūnanna Mina Al-Mukhrajīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 167). 026.167 They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!" قَ‍‍الُوا لَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَمْ تَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَهِ يَا‌ ل‍‍ُ‍و‍‍طُ لَتَكُونَ‍‍نّ‌َ مِنَ ‌الْمُ‍‍خْ‍رَجِينَ
Qāla 'Innī Li`amalikum Mina Al-Qālīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 168). 026.168 He said: "I do detest your doings." قَ‍الَ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي لِعَمَلِكُمْ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍الِينَ
Rabbi Najjinī Wa 'Ahlī Mimmā Ya`malūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 169). 026.169 "O my Lord! deliver me and my family from such things as they do!" ‍‍‍رَبِّ نَجِّنِي ‌وَ‌أَهْلِي مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَعْمَلُونَ
Fanajjaynāhu Wa 'Ahlahu 'Ajma`īna (Ash-Shu`arā': 170). 026.170 So We delivered him and his family,- all فَنَجَّيْن‍‍َاهُ ‌وَ‌أَهْلَهُ ‌أَجْ‍‍مَعِينَ
'Illā `Ajūzāan Al-Ghābirīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 171). 026.171 Except an old woman who lingered behind. إِلاَّ‌ عَجُو‌ز‌اً فِي ‌الْ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍ابِ‍‍رِينَ
Thumma Dammarnā Al-'Ākharīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 172). 026.172 But the rest We destroyed utterly. ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌دَمَّ‍‍رْنَا‌ ‌الآ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍رِينَ
Wa 'Amţarnā `Alayhim Maţaan ۖ Fasā'a Maţaru Al-Mundharīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 173). 026.173 We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)! وَ‌أَمْ‍‍‍‍طَ‍‍رْنَا‌ عَلَيْهِمْ مَ‍‍طَ‍‍ر‌اً ۖ فَس‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ مَ‍‍طَ‍‍رُ‌ ‌الْمُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذَ‌رِينَ
'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan ۖ Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 174). 026.174 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu (Ash-Shu`arā': 175). 026.175 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might Most Merciful. وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍‍‍رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌ال‍رَّحِيمُ
Kadhdhaba 'Aşĥābu Al-'Aykati Al-Mursalīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 176). 026.176 The Companions of the Wood rejected the apostles. كَذَّبَ ‌أَ‍‍صْ‍‍ح‍‍َابُ ‌الأَيْكَةِ ‌الْمُرْسَلِينَ
'Idh Qāla Lahum Shu`aybun 'Alā Tattaqūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 177). 026.177 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (God)? إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ لَهُمْ شُعَ‍‍يْ‍‍بٌ ‌أَلاَ‌ تَتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
'Innī Lakum Rasūlun 'Amīnun (Ash-Shu`arā': 178). 026.178 "I am to you an apostle worthy of all trust. إِنِّ‍‍ي لَكُمْ ‌‍‍‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٌ ‌أَمِينٌ
Fāttaqū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ūni (Ash-Shu`arā': 179). 026.179 "So fear God and obey me. فَاتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُونِ
Wa Mā 'As'alukum `Alayhi Min 'Ajrin ۖ 'In 'Ajriya 'Illā `Alá Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 180). 026.180 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds. وَمَ‍‍ا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَجْ‍‍ر‌‌ٍ ۖ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَجْ‍‍رِيَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ عَلَى ‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
'Awfū Al-Kayla Wa Lā Takūnū Mina Al-Mukhsirīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 181). 026.181 "Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud). أَ‌وْفُوا ‌الْكَ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَكُونُوا مِنَ ‌الْمُ‍‍‍‍خْ‍‍سِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Zinū Bil-Qisţāsi Al-Mustaqīmi (Ash-Shu`arā': 182). 026.182 "And weigh with scales true and upright. وَ‌زِنُوا بِ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍سْ‍‍طَ‍اسِ ‌الْمُسْتَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمِ
Wa Lā Tabkhasū An-Nāsa 'Ashyā'ahum Wa Lā Ta`thawā Fī Al-'Arđi Mufsidīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 183). 026.183 "And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief. وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍سُوا ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسَ ‌أَشْي‍‍َا‌ءَهُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَعْثَوْ‌ا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ
Wa Attaqū Al-Ladhī Khalaqakum Wa Al-Jibillata Al-'Awwalīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 184). 026.184 "And fear Him Who created you and (who created) the generations before (you)" وَ‌اتَّ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌الَّذِي خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَ‌الْجِبِلَّةَ ‌الأَ‌وَّلِينَ
Qālū 'Innamā 'Anta Mina Al-Musaĥĥarīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 185). 026.185 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌الْمُسَحَّ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Mā 'Anta 'Illā Basharun Mithlunā Wa 'In Nažunnuka Lamina Al-Kādhibīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 186). 026.186 "Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar! وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بَشَرٌ مِثْلُنَا وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ نَ‍‍‍‍ظُ‍‍نُّ‍‍كَ لَمِنَ ‌الْكَا‌ذِبِينَ
Fa'asqiţ `Alaynā Kisafāan Mina As-Samā'i 'In Kunta Mina Aş-Şādiqīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 187). 026.187 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" فَأَسْ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍ط‍‌ْ عَلَيْنَا‌ كِسَفاً مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِ‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Qāla Rabbī 'A`lamu Bimā Ta`malūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 188). 026.188 He said: "My Lord knows best what ye do." قَ‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ‍‍ي ‌أَعْلَمُ بِمَا‌ تَعْمَلُونَ
Fakadhdhabūhu Fa'akhadhahum `Adhābu Yawmi Až-Žullati ۚ 'Innahu Kāna `Adhāba Yawmin `Ažīmin (Ash-Shu`arā': 189). 026.189 But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. فَكَذَّب‍‍ُ‍وهُ فَأَ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ يَ‍‍وْمِ ‌ال‍‍ظُّ‍‍لَّةِ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ ك‍‍َانَ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ يَ‍‍وْمٍ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٍ
'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan ۖ Wa Mā Kāna 'Aktharuhum Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 190). 026.190 Verily in that is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu (Ash-Shu`arā': 191). 026.191 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. وَ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍‍‍رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌ال‍رَّحِيمُ
Wa 'Innahu Latanzīlu Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 192). 026.192 Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds: وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَتَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍ز‍ِ‍ي‍‍لُ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Nazala Bihi Ar-Rūĥu Al-'Amīnu (Ash-Shu`arā': 193). 026.193 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- نَزَلَ بِهِ ‌ال‍‍رّ‍ُ‍‌وحُ ‌الأَمِينُ
`Alá Qalbika Litakūna Mina Al-Mundhirīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 194). 026.194 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. عَلَى‌ قَ‍‍لْبِكَ لِتَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِنَ ‌الْمُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذِ‌رِينَ
Bilisānin `Arabīyin Mubīnin (Ash-Shu`arā': 195). 026.195 In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. بِلِس‍‍َانٍ عَ‍‍‍رَبِيٍّ مُبِينٍ
Wa 'Innahu Lafī Zuburi Al-'Awwalīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 196). 026.196 Without doubt it is (announced) in the mystic Books of former peoples. وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَفِي ‌زُبُ‍‍رِ ‌الأَ‌وَّلِينَ
'Awalam Yakun Lahumyatan 'An Ya`lamahu `Ulamā'u Banī 'Isrā'īla (Ash-Shu`arā': 197). 026.197 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? أَ‌وَلَمْ يَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَهُمْ ‌آيَةً ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَعْلَمَهُ عُلَم‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ بَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍‍يلَ
Wa Law Nazzalnāhu `Alá Ba`đi Al-'A`jamīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 198). 026.198 Had We revealed it to any of the non-Arabs, وَلَوْ‌ نَزَّلْن‍‍َاهُ عَلَى‌ بَعْ‍‍‍‍ضِ ‌الأَعْجَمِينَ
Faqara'ahu `Alayhim Mā Kānū Bihi Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 199). 026.199 And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. فَ‍‍قَ‍رَ‌أَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا‌ كَانُوا بِهِ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Kadhālika Salaknāhu Fī Qulūbi Al-Mujrimīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 200). 026.200 Thus have We caused it to enter the hearts of the sinners. كَذَلِكَ سَلَكْن‍‍َاهُ فِي قُ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍وبِ ‌الْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِمِينَ
Lā Yu'uminūna Bihi Ĥattá Yara Al-`Adhāba Al-'Alīma (Ash-Shu`arā': 201). 026.201 They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty; لاَ‌ يُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِهِ حَتَّى‌ يَ‍‍‍رَ‌وْ‌ا‌ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌الأَلِيمَ
Faya'tiyahum Baghtatan Wa Hum Lā Yash`urūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 202). 026.202 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; فَيَأْتِيَهُمْ بَ‍‍‍‍غْ‍‍تَةً ‌وَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَشْعُرُ‌ونَ
Fayaqūlū Hal Naĥnu Munžarūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 203). 026.203 Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?" فَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُوا هَلْ نَحْنُ مُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ظَ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
'Afabi`adhābinā Yasta`jilūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 204). 026.204 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? أَفَبِعَذَ‌ابِنَا‌ يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
'Afara'ayta 'In Matta`nāhum Sinīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 205). 026.205 Seest thou? If We do let them enjoy (this life) for a few years, أَفَ‍‍‍رَ‌أَيْ‍‍تَ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ مَتَّعْنَاهُمْ سِنِينَ
Thumma Jā'ahum Mā Kānū Yū`adūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 206). 026.206 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ج‍‍َا‌ءَهُمْ مَا‌ كَانُوا يُوعَدُ‌ونَ
Mā 'Aghná `Anhum Mā Kānū Yumatta`ūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 207). 026.207 It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! مَ‍‍ا أَ‍‍غْ‍‍نَى‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَا‌ كَانُوا يُمَتَّعُونَ
Wa Mā 'Ahlaknā Min Qaryatin 'Illā Lahā Mundhirūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 208). 026.208 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - وَمَ‍‍ا أَهْلَكْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍رْيَةٍ ‌إِلاَّ‌ لَهَا‌ مُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذِ‌رُ‌ونَ
Dhikrá Wa Mā Kunnā Žālimīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 209). 026.209 By way of reminder; and We never are unjust. ذِكْ‍‍‍رَ‌ى وَمَا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ظَ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Mā Tanazzalat Bihi Ash-Shayāţīnu (Ash-Shu`arā': 210). 026.210 No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): وَمَا‌ تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ ‌ال‍‍شَّيَا‍‍طِ‍‍ينُ
Wa Mā Yanbaghī Lahum Wa Mā Yastaţī`ūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 211). 026.211 It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). وَمَا‌ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍بَ‍‍‍‍غِ‍‍ي لَهُمْ ‌وَمَا‌ يَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍يعُونَ
'Innahum `Ani As-Sam`i Lama`zūlūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 212). 026.212 Indeed they have been removed far from even (a chance of) hearing it. إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ عَنِ ‌ال‍‍سَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُ‌ولُونَ
Falā Tad`u Ma`a Allāhi 'Ilahāan 'Ākhara Fatakūna Mina Al-Mu`adhdhabīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 213). 026.213 So call not on any other god with God, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. فَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍دْعُ مَعَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌إِلَهاً ‌آ‍‍‍‍خَ‍رَ‌ فَتَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِنَ ‌الْمُعَذَّبِينَ
Wa 'Andhir `Ashīrataka Al-'Aqrabīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 214). 026.214 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍ذِ‌ر‍‍ْ‍‌ عَشِي‍‍‍رَتَكَ ‌الأَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍رَبِينَ
Wa Akhfiđ Janāĥaka Limani Attaba`aka Mina Al-Mu'uminīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 215). 026.215 And lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee. وَ‌ا‍‍خْ‍‍فِ‍‍ضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ ‌اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Fa'in `Aşawka Faqul 'Innī Barī'un Mimmā Ta`malūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 216). 026.216 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" فَإِ‌ن‌ْ عَ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍وْكَ فَ‍‍قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي بَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍يءٌ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تَعْمَلُونَ
Wa Tawakkal `Alá Al-`Azīzi Ar-Raĥīmi (Ash-Shu`arā': 217). 026.217 And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى‌ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زِ‌ ‌ال‍‍‍‍رَّحِيمِ
Al-Ladhī Yarāka Ĥīna Taqūmu (Ash-Shu`arā': 218). 026.218 Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), ‌الَّذِي يَ‍‍رَ‍‌اكَ ح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ تَ‍‍قُ‍‍ومُ
Wa Taqallubaka Fī As-Sājidīna (Ash-Shu`arā': 219). 026.219 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, وَتَ‍‍قَ‍‍لُّبَكَ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّاجِدِينَ
'Innahu Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu (Ash-Shu`arā': 220). 026.220 For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things. إِنَّ‍‍هُ هُوَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌الْعَلِيمُ
Hal 'Unabbi'ukum `Alá Man Tanazzalu Ash-Shayāţīnu (Ash-Shu`arā': 221). 026.221 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? هَلْ ‌أُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلَى‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَنَزَّلُ ‌ال‍‍شَّيَا‍‍طِ‍‍ينُ
Tanazzalu `Alá Kulli 'Affākin 'Athīmin (Ash-Shu`arā': 222). 026.222 They descend on every lying, wicked person, تَنَزَّلُ عَلَى‌ كُلِّ ‌أَفّ‍‍َاكٍ ‌أَثِيمٍ
Yulqūna As-Sam`a Wa 'Aktharuhumdhibūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 223). 026.223 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. يُلْ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمْعَ ‌وَ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ كَا‌ذِبُونَ
Wa Ash-Shu`arā'u Yattabi`uhumu Al-Ghāwūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 224). 026.224 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: وَ‌الشُّعَر‍َ‌اءُ‌ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍ا‌وُ‌ونَ
'Alam Tará 'Annahum Fī Kulli Wādin Yahīmūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 225). 026.225 Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?- أَلَمْ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ فِي كُلِّ ‌وَ‌ا‌د‌ٍ يَهِيمُونَ
Wa 'Annahum Yaqūlūna Mā Lā Yaf`alūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 226). 026.226 And that they say what they practise not?- وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ يَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَا‌ لاَ‌ يَفْعَلُونَ
'Illā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Wa Dhakarū Allaha Kathīan Wa Antaşarū Min Ba`di Mā Žulimū ۗ Wa Saya`lamu Al-Ladhīna Žalamū 'Ayya Munqalabin Yanqalibūna (Ash-Shu`arā': 227). 026.227 Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of God, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! إِلاَّ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَعَمِلُوا ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ ‌وَ‌ذَكَرُ‌وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ كَثِي‍‍ر‌اً ‌وَ‌ان‍‍تَ‍‍صَ‍‍رُ‌وا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ مَا‌ ظُ‍‍لِمُوا ۗ ‌وَسَيَعْلَمُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ظَ‍‍لَمُ‍‍وا ‌أَيَّ مُ‍‌‍ن‍‍قَ‍‍لَبٍ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍قَ‍‍لِبُونَ
