Aqtaraba Lilnnāsi Ĥisābuhum Wa HumGhaflatin Mu`rūna (Al-'Anbyā': 1). 021.001 Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed not and they turn away. ا‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تَ‍رَبَ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ ‌وَهُمْ فِي غَ‍‍فْلَةٍ مُعْ‍‍رِ‍ضُ‍‍ونَ
Mā Ya'tīhim Min Dhikrin Min Rabbihim Muĥdathin 'Illā Astama`ūhu Wa Hum Yal`abūna (Al-'Anbyā': 2). 021.002 Never comes (aught) to them of a renewed Message from their Lord, but they listen to it as in jest,- مَا‌ يَأْتِيهِمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذِكْر‌ٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّهِمْ مُحْدَثٍ ‌إِلاَّ ‌اسْتَمَع‍‍ُ‍وهُ ‌وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ
Lāhiyatan Qulūbuhum ۗ Wa 'Asarrū An-Naj Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Hal Hādhā 'Illā Basharun Mithlukum ۖ 'Afata'tūna As-Siĥra Wa 'Antum Tubşirūna (Al-'Anbyā': 3). 021.003 Their hearts toying as with trifles. The wrong-doers conceal their private counsels, (saying), "Is this (one) more than a man like yourselves? Will ye go to witchcraft with your eyes open?" لاَهِيَةً قُ‍‍لُوبُهُمْ ۗ ‌وَ‌أَسَرُّ‌وا ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍جْ‍‍وَ‌ى‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ظَ‍‍لَمُوا هَلْ هَذَ‌ا إِلاَّ‌ بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ ۖ ‌أَفَتَأْت‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍سِّحْ‍رَ وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ تُ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Qāla Rabbī Ya`lamu Al-Qawla Fī As-Samā'i Wa Al-'Arđi ۖ Wa Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu (Al-'Anbyā': 4). 021.004 Say: "My Lord knoweth (every) word (spoken) in the heavens and on earth: He is the One that heareth and knoweth (all things)." قَ‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّي يَعْلَمُ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْلَ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ۖ ‌وَهُوَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌الْعَلِيمُ
Bal Qālū 'Ađghāthu 'Aĥlāmin Bal Aftarāhu Bal Huwa Shā`irun Falya'tinā Bi'āyatin Kamā 'Ursila Al-'Awwalūna (Al-'Anbyā': 5). 021.005 "Nay," they say, "(these are) medleys of dream! - Nay, He forged it! - Nay, He is (but) a poet! Let him then bring us a Sign like the ones that were sent to (Prophets) of old!" بَلْ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‍ضْ‍‍غَ‍اثُ ‌أَحْلاَمٍ بَلْ ‌افْتَ‍رَ‍‌اهُ بَلْ هُوَ‌ شَاعِرٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا‌ بِآيَةٍ كَمَ‍‍ا أُ‌رْسِلَ ‌الأَ‌وَّلُونَ
Mā 'Āmanat Qablahum Min Qaryatin 'Ahlaknāhā ۖ 'Afahum Yu'uminūna (Al-'Anbyā': 6). 021.006 (As to those) before them, not one of the populations which We destroyed believed: will these believe? مَ‍‍ا آمَنَتْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍رْيَةٍ ‌أَهْلَكْنَاهَ‍‍اۖ ‌أَفَهُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Mā 'Arsalnā Qablaka 'Illā Rijālāan Nūĥī 'Ilayhim ۖ Fās'alū 'Ahla Adh-Dhikri 'In Kuntum Lā Ta`lamūna (Al-'Anbyā': 7). 021.007 Before thee, also, the apostles We sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: If ye realise this not, ask of those who possess the Message. وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لَكَ ‌إِلاَّ ‌رِجَالاً نُوحِ‍‍ي ‌إِلَيْهِمْ ۖ فَاسْأَلُ‍‍وا ‌أَهْلَ ‌ال‍‍ذِّكْ‍‍رِ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ لاَ‌ تَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Mā Ja`alnāhum Jasadāan Lā Ya'kulūna Aţ-Ţa`āma Wa Mā Kānū Khālidīna (Al-'Anbyā': 8). 021.008 Nor did We give them bodies that ate no food, nor were they exempt from death. وَمَا‌ جَعَلْنَاهُمْ جَسَد‌اً لاَ‌ يَأْكُل‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍طَّ‍‍ع‍‍َامَ ‌وَمَا‌ كَانُوا خَ‍‍الِدِينَ
Thumma Şadaqnāhumu Al-Wa`da Fa'anjaynāhum Wa Man Nashā'u Wa 'Ahlaknā Al-Musrifīna (Al-'Anbyā': 9). 021.009 In the end We fulfilled to them Our Promise, and We saved them and those whom We pleased, but We destroyed those who transgressed beyond bounds. ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ صَ‍‍دَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَاهُمُ ‌الْوَعْدَ‌ فَأَ‌ن‍‍جَيْنَاهُمْ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَ‌أَهْلَكْنَا‌ ‌الْمُسْ‍‍رِفِينَ
Laqad 'Anzalnā 'Ilaykum Kitābāan Fīhi Dhikrukum ۖ 'Afalā Ta`qilūna (Al-'Anbyā': 10). 021.010 We have revealed for you (O men!) a book in which is a Message for you: will ye not then understand? لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْنَ‍‍ا إِلَيْكُمْ كِتَاباً ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌ذِكْرُكُمْ ۖ ‌أَفَلاَ‌ تَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍لُونَ
Wa Kam Qaşamnā Min Qaryatin Kānat Žālimatan Wa 'Ansha'nā Ba`dahā Qawmāan 'Ākharīna (Al-'Anbyā': 11). 021.011 How many were the populations We utterly destroyed because of their iniquities, setting up in their places other peoples? وَكَمْ قَ‍‍صَ‍‍مْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍رْيَةٍ كَانَتْ ظَ‍‍الِمَةً ‌وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍شَأْنَا‌ بَعْدَهَا‌ قَ‍‍وْماً ‌آ‍‍خَ‍‍رِينَ
Falammā 'Aĥassū Ba'sanā 'Idhā Hum Minhā Yarkuđūna (Al-'Anbyā': 12). 021.012 Yet, when they felt Our Punishment (coming), behold, they (tried to) flee from it. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا أَحَسُّوا بَأْسَنَ‍‍ا إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ يَرْكُ‍‍‍‍ضُ‍‍ونَ
Lā Tarkuđū Wa Arji`ū 'Ilá Mā 'Utriftum Fīhi Wa Masākinikum La`allakum Tus'alūna (Al-'Anbyā': 13). 021.013 Flee not, but return to the good things of this life which were given you, and to your homes in order that ye may be called to account. لاَ‌ تَرْكُ‍‍‍‍ضُ‍‍وا ‌وَ‌ا‌رْجِعُ‍‍وا ‌إِلَى‌ مَ‍‍ا أُتْ‍‍رِفْتُمْ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌وَمَسَاكِنِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْأَلُونَ
Qālū Yā Waylanā 'Innā Kunnā Žālimīna (Al-'Anbyā ': 14). 021.014 They said: "Ah! woe to us! We were indeed wrong-doers!" قَ‍‍الُوا يَا‌وَيْلَنَ‍‍ا إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ظَ‍‍الِمِينَ
Famā Zālat Tilka Da`wāhum Ĥattá Ja`alnāhum Ĥaşīdāan Khāmidīna (Al-'Anbyā': 15). 021.015 And that cry of theirs ceased not, till We made them as a field that is mown, as ashes silent and quenched. فَمَا زَ‌الَتْ تِلْكَ ‌دَعْوَ‌اهُمْ حَتَّى‌ جَعَلْنَاهُمْ حَ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍يد‌اً‌ خَ‍‍امِدِينَ
Wa Mā Khalaq As-Samā'a Wa Al-'Arđa Wa Mā Baynahumā Lā`ibīna (Al-'Anbyā': 16). 021.016 Not for (idle) sport did We create the heavens and the earth and all that is between! وَمَا‌ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَا‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءَ وَ‌الأَ‌رْضَ ‌وَمَا‌ بَيْنَهُمَا‌ لاَعِبِينَ
Law 'Aradnā 'An Nattakhidha Lahwan Lāttakhadhnāhu Min Ladunnā 'In Kunnā Fā`ilīna (Al-'Anbyā': 17). 021.017 If it had been Our wish to take (just) a pastime, We should surely have taken it from the things nearest to Us, if We would do (such a thing)! لَوْ أَ‌‍‍‍رَ‌دْنَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ نَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذَ‌ لَهْو‌اً لاَتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذْن‍‍َاهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَدُنَّ‍‍ا إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ فَاعِلِينَ
Bal Naqdhifu Bil-Ĥaqqi `Alá Al-Bāţili Fayadmaghuhu Fa'idhā Huwa Zāhiqun ۚ Wa Lakumu Al-Waylu Mimmā Taşifūna (Al-'Anbyā': 18). 021.018 Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold, falsehood doth perish! Ah! woe be to you for the (false) things ye ascribe (to Us). بَلْ نَ‍‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍ذِفُ بِ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ عَلَى‌ ‌الْبَاطِ‍‍لِ فَيَ‍‍دْمَ‍‍غُ‍‍هُ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هُوَ زَ‌اهِ‍‍قٌ‌ ۚ ‌وَلَكُمُ ‌الْوَيْ‍‍لُ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تَ‍‍صِ‍‍فُونَ
Wa Lahu Man As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۚ Wa Man `Indahu Lā Yastakbirūna `An `Ibādatihi Wa Lā Yastaĥsirūna (Al-'Anbyā': 19). 021.019 To Him belong all (creatures) in the heavens and on earth: Even those who are in His (very) Presence are not too proud to serve Him, nor are they (ever) weary (of His service): وَلَهُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهُ لاَ‌ يَسْتَكْبِر‍ُ‍‌ونَ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِبَا‌دَتِهِ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَسْتَحْسِرُ‌ونَ
Yusabbiĥūna Al-Layla Wa An-Nahāra Lā Yafturūna (Al-'Anbyā': 20). 021.020 They celebrate His praises night and day, nor do they ever flag or intermit. يُسَبِّح‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌‍‍‍رَ‌ لاَ‌ يَفْتُرُ‌ونَ
'Am Attakhadhū 'Ālihatan Mina Al-'Arđi Hum Yunshirūna (Al-'Anbyā': 21). 021.021 Or have they taken (for worship) gods from the earth who can raise (the dead)? أَمْ ‌اتَّ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍ذُ‌وا ‌آلِهَةً مِنَ ‌الأَ‌رْضِ هُمْ يُ‍‌‍ن‍‍شِرُ‌ونَ
Law Kāna Fīhimā 'Ālihatun 'Illā Al-Lahu Lafasadatā ۚ Fasubĥāna Allāhi Rabbi Al-`Arshi `Ammā Yaşifūna (Al-'Anbyā': 22). 021.022 If there were, in the heavens and the earth, other gods besides God, there would have been confusion in both! but glory to God, the Lord of the Throne: (High is He) above what they attribute to Him! لَوْ‌ ك‍‍َانَ فِيهِمَ‍‍ا آلِهَةٌ ‌إِلاَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لَفَسَدَتَا‌ ۚ فَسُ‍‍بْ‍‍ح‍‍َانَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَرْشِ عَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَ‍‍صِ‍‍فُونَ
Lā Yus'alu `Ammā Yaf`alu Wa Hum Yus'alūna (Al-'Anbyā': 23). 021.023 He cannot be questioned for His acts, but they will be questioned (for theirs). لاَ‌ يُسْأَلُ عَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَفْعَلُ ‌وَهُمْ يُسْأَلُونَ
'Am Attakhadhū Min Dūnihi 'Ālihatan ۖ Qul Hātū Burhānakum ۖdhā Dhikru Man Ma`iya Wa Dhikru Man Qabۗ Bal 'Aktharuhum Lā Ya`lamūna Al-Ĥaqqa ۖ Fahum Mu`rūna (Al-'Anbyā': 24). 021.024 Or have they taken for worship (other) gods besides him? Say, "Bring your convincing proof: this is the Message of those with me and the Message of those before me." But most of them know not the Truth, and so turn away. أَمْ ‌اتَّ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍ذُ‌وا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ ‌آلِهَةً ۖ قُ‍‍لْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ ۖ هَذَ‌ا ذِكْرُ‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَعِيَ ‌وَ‌ذِكْرُ‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِي ۗ بَلْ ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ‌ يَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْحَ‍‍قَّ ۖ فَهُمْ مُعْ‍‍رِ‍ضُ‍‍ونَ
Wa Mā 'Arsalnā Min Qablika Min Rasūl In'illā Nūĥī 'Ilayhi 'Annahu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā 'Anā Fā`budūni (Al-'Anbyā': 25). 021.025 Not an apostle did We send before thee without this inspiration sent by Us to him: that there is no god but I; therefore worship and serve Me. وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَسُول ‌إٍِلاَّ‌ نُوحِ‍‍ي ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ لاَ إِلَهَ ‌إِلاَّ أَنَا‌ فَاعْبُدُ‌ونِ
Wa Qālū Attakhadha Ar-Raĥmānu Waladāan ۗ Subĥānahu ۚ Bal `Ibādun Mukramūna (Al-'Anbyā': 26). 021.026 And they say: "(God) Most Gracious has begotten offspring." Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour. وَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُوا ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَ ‌ال‍رَّحْمَنُ ‌وَلَد‌اً ۗ سُ‍‍بْ‍‍حَانَهُ ۚ بَلْ عِب‍‍َا‌دٌ مُكْ‍رَمُونَ
Lā Yasbiqūnahu Bil-Qawli Wa Hum Bi'amrihi Ya`malūna (Al-'Anbyā': 27). 021.027 They speak not before He speaks, and they act (in all things) by His Command. لاَ‌ يَسْبِ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ونَهُ بِ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْلِ ‌وَهُمْ بِأَمْ‍‍رِهِ يَعْمَلُونَ
Ya`lamu Mā Bayna 'Ayd99him Wa Mā Khalfahum Wa Lā Yashfa`ūna 'Illā Limani Artađá Wa Hum Min Khashyatihi Mushfiqūna (Al-'Anbyā': 28). 021.028 He knows what is before them, and what is behind them, and they offer no intercession except for those who are acceptable, and they stand in awe and reverence of His (Glory). يَعْلَمُ مَا‌ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ ‌أَيْدِيهِمْ ‌وَمَا‌ خَ‍‍لْفَهُمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَشْفَع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ لِمَنِ ‌ا‌رْتَ‍‍ضَ‍‍ى وَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خَ‍‍شْيَتِهِ مُشْفِ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Wa Man Yaqul Minhum 'Innī 'Ilahun Min Dūnihi Fadhālika Najzīhi Jahannama ۚ Kadhālika Naj Až-Žālimīna (Al-'Anbyā': 29). 021.029 If any of them should say, "I am a god besides Him", such a one We should reward with Hell: thus do We reward those who do wrong. وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍لْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌إِلَهٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ فَذَلِكَ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍ز‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ ۚ كَذَلِكَ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِي ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
'Awalam Yará Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Anna As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Kānatā Ratqāan Fafataqnāhumā ۖ Wa Ja`alnā Mina Al-Mā'i Kulla Shay'in Ĥayyin ۖ 'Afalā Yu'uminūna (Al-'Anbyā': 30). 021.030 Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? أَ‌وَلَمْ يَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضَ كَانَتَا ‍رَتْ‍‍ق‍‍اً فَفَتَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَاهُمَا‌ ۖ ‌وَجَعَلْنَا‌ مِنَ ‌الْم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ كُلَّ شَ‍‍يْءٍ‌ حَيٍّ ۖ ‌أَفَلاَ‌ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Ja`alnā Fī Al-'Arđi Rawāsiya 'An Tamīda Bihim Wa Ja`alnā Fīhā Fijājāan Subulāan La`allahum Yahtadūna (Al-'Anbyā': 31). 021.031 And We have set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with them, and We have made therein broad highways (between mountains) for them to pass through: that they may receive Guidance. وَجَعَلْنَا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ‌‍رَ‌وَ‌اسِيَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍دَ‌ بِهِمْ ‌وَجَعَلْنَا‌ فِيهَا‌ فِجَاجاً سُبُلاً لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُ‌ونَ
Wa Ja`alnā As-Samā'a Saqfāan Maĥfūžāan ۖ Wa Hum `An 'Āyātihā Mu`rūna (Al-'Anbyā': 32). 021.032 And We have made the heavens as a canopy well guarded: yet do they turn away from the Signs which these things (point to)! وَجَعَلْنَا‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ سَ‍‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍فاً مَحْفُوظ‍‍اً ۖ ‌وَهُمْ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌آيَاتِهَا‌ مُعْ‍‍رِ‍ضُ‍‍ونَ
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Khalaqa Al-Layla Wa An-Nahāra Wa Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara ۖ Kullun Fī Falakin Yasbaĥūna (Al-'Anbyā': 33). 021.033 It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course. وَهُوَ ‌الَّذِي خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌‍رَ وَ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسَ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍مَ‍رَۖ كُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
Wa Mā Ja`alnā Libasharin Min Qablika Al-Khulda ۖ 'Afa'īn Mitta Fahumu Al-Khālidūna (Al-'Anbyā': 34). 021.034 We granted not to any man before thee permanent life (here): if then thou shouldst die, would they live permanently? وَمَا‌ جَعَلْنَا‌ لِبَشَر‌ٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ ‌الْ‍‍خُ‍‍لْدَ ۖ ‌أَفَإِيْ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مِتَّ فَهُمُ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍الِدُ‌ونَ
Kullu Nafsin Dhā'iqatu Al-Mawti ۗ Wa Nablūkum Bish-Sharri Wa Al-Khayri Fitnatan ۖ Wa 'Ilaynā Turja`ūna (Al-'Anbyā': 35). 021.035 Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. to Us must ye return. كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ‌ذ‍َ‍‌ائِ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ةُ ‌الْمَ‍‍وْتِ ۗ ‌وَنَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُوكُمْ بِ‌ال‍‍شَّرِّ وَ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ فِتْنَةً ۖ ‌وَ‌إِلَيْنَا‌ تُرْجَعُونَ
Wa 'Idhā Ra'āka Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'In Yattakhidhūnaka 'Illā Huzūan 'Ahadhā Al-Ladhī Yadhkuru 'Ālihatakum Wa Hum Bidhikri Ar-Raĥmani Hum Kāfirūna (Al-'Anbyā': 36). 021.036 When the Unbelievers see thee, they treat thee not except with ridicule. "Is this," (they say), "the one who talks of your gods?" and they blaspheme at the mention of (God) Most Gracious! وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا ‍‍‍رَ‌آكَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذُ‌ونَكَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هُز‍ُ‍‌و‌اً أَهَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الَّذِي يَذْكُرُ آلِهَتَكُمْ ‌وَهُمْ بِذِكْ‍‍رِ ‌ال‍رَّحْمَنِ هُمْ كَافِرُ‌ونَ
Khuliqa Al-'Insānu Min `Ajalin ۚ Sa'urīkum 'Āyātī Falā Tasta`jilūni (Al-'Anbyā': 37). 021.037 Man is a creature of haste: soon (enough) will I show you My Signs; then ye will not ask Me to hasten them! خُ‍‍لِ‍قَ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَجَلٍ ۚ سَأُ‌رِيكُمْ ‌آيَاتِي فَلاَ‌ تَسْتَعْجِلُونِ
Wa Yaqūlūna Matá Hādhā Al-Wa`du 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna (Al-'Anbyā': 38). 021.038 They say: "When will this promise come to pass, if ye are telling the truth?" وَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَتَى‌ هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْوَعْدُ إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ صَ‍‍ا‌دِ‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Law Ya`lamu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Ĥīna Lā Yakuffūna `An Wujūhihimu An-Nāra Wa Lā `An Žuhūrihim Wa Lā Hum Yunşarūna (Al-'Anbyā': 39). 021.039 If only the Unbelievers knew (the time) when they will not be able to ward off the fire from their faces, nor yet from their backs, and (when) no help can reach them! لَوْ‌ يَعْلَمُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا ح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يَكُفّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وُجُوهِهِمُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َا‌‍‍‍رَ وَلاَ‌ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ظُ‍‍هُو‌رِهِمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ هُمْ يُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Bal Ta'tīhim Baghtatan Fatabhatuhum Falā Yastaţī`ūna Raddahā Wa Lā Hum Yunžarūna (Al-'Anbyā': 40). 021.040 Nay, it may come to them all of a sudden and confound them: no power will they have then to avert it, nor will they (then) get respite. بَلْ تَأْتِيهِمْ بَ‍‍‍‍غْ‍‍تَةً فَتَ‍‍بْ‍‍هَتُهُمْ فَلاَ‌ يَسْتَ‍‍طِ‍‍يع‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌‍رَ‌دَّهَا وَلاَ‌ هُمْ يُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ظَ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
Wa Laqadi Astuhzi'a Birusulin Min Qablika Faĥāqa Bial-Ladhīna Sakhirū Minhum Mā Kānū Bihi Yastahzi'ūn (Al-'Anbyā': 41). 021.041 Mocked were (many) apostle before thee; But their scoffers were hemmed in by the thing that they mocked. وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دِ‌ ‌اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ فَح‍‍َاقَ بِ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ سَ‍‍خِ‍‍رُ‌وا مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مَا‌ كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئ‍‍ُ‍‍ون
Qul Man Yakla'uukum Bil-Layli Wa An-Nahāri Mina Ar-Raĥmani ۗ Bal Hum `An Dhikri Rabbihim Mu`rūna (Al-'Anbyā': 42). 021.042 Say: "Who can keep you safe by night and by day from (the Wrath of) (God) Most Gracious?" Yet they turn away from the mention of their Lord. قُ‍‍لْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَكْلَؤُكُمْ بِ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رِ مِنَ ‌ال‍رَّحْمَنِ ۗ بَلْ هُمْ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذِكْ‍‍رِ ‌‍رَبِّهِمْ مُعْ‍‍رِ‍ضُ‍‍ونَ
'Am Lahum 'Ālihatun Tamna`uhum Min Dūninā ۚ Lā Yastaţī`ūna Naşra 'Anfusihim Wa Lā Hum Minnā Yuşĥabūna (Al-'Anbyā': 43). 021.043 Or have they gods that can guard them from Us? They have no power to aid themselves, nor can they be defended from Us. أَمْ لَهُمْ ‌آلِهَةٌ تَمْنَعُهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِنَا‌ ۚ لاَ‌ يَسْتَ‍‍‍‍طِ‍‍يع‍‍ُ‍ونَ نَ‍‍صْ‍رَ أَ‌ن‍‍فُسِهِمْ ‌وَلاَ‌ هُمْ مِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ يُ‍‍صْ‍‍حَبُونَ
Bal Matta`nā Hā'uulā' Wa 'Ābā'ahum Ĥattá Ţāla `Alayhimu Al-`Umuru ۗ 'Afalā Yarawna 'Annā Na'tī Al-'Arđa Nanquşuhā Min 'Aţfihā ۚ 'Afahumu Al-Ghālibūna (Al-'Anbyā': 44). 021.044 Nay, We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win? بَلْ مَتَّعْنَا‌ ه‍‍َا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء وَ‌آب‍‍َا‌ءَهُمْ حَتَّى‌ طَ‍الَ عَلَيْهِمُ ‌الْعُمُرُ‌ ۗ ‌أَفَلاَ‌ يَ‍رَ‌وْنَ ‌أَنَّ‍‍ا‌ نَأْتِي ‌الأَ‌رْضَ نَ‍‌‍ن‍‍قُ‍‍صُ‍‍هَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‍طْ‍‍‍‍‍رَ‌افِهَ‍‍اۚ ‌أَفَهُمُ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍الِبُونَ
Qul 'Innamā 'Undhirukum Bil-Waĥyi ۚ Wa Lā Yasma`u Aş-Şummu Ad-Du`ā'a 'Idhā Mā Yundharūna (Al-'Anbyā': 45). 021.045 Say, "I do but warn you according to revelation": But the deaf will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned! قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا أُ‌ن‍‍ذِ‌رُكُمْ بِ‌الْوَحْيِ ۚ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَسْمَعُ ‌ال‍‍صُّ‍‍مُّ ‌ال‍‍دُّع‍‍َا‌ءَ إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ مَا‌ يُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذَ‌رُ‌ونَ
Wa La'in Massat/hum Nafĥatun Min `Adhābi Rabbika Layaqūlunna Yā Waylanā 'Innā Kunnā Žālimīna (Al-'Anbyā ': 46). 021.046 If but a breath of the Wrath of thy Lord do touch them, they will then say, "Woe to us! we did wrong indeed!" وَلَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَسَّتْهُمْ نَفْحَةٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّكَ لَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ‍‍نّ‌َ يَا‌وَيْلَنَ‍‍ا إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ظَ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Nađa`u Al-Mawāzīna Al-Qisţa Liyawmi Al-Qiyāmati Falā Tužlamu Nafsun Shay'āan ۖ Wa 'In Kāna Mithqāla Ĥabbatin Min Khardalin 'Ataynā Bihā ۗ Wa Kafá Binā Ĥāsibīna (Al-'Anbyā': 47). 021.047 We shall set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least, and if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take account. وَنَ‍‍ضَ‍‍عُ ‌الْمَوَ‌ا‌ز‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍سْ‍‍طَ لِيَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الْ‍‍قِ‍‍يَامَةِ فَلاَ‌ تُ‍‍ظْ‍‍لَمُ نَفْسٌ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ مِثْ‍‍قَ‍الَ حَبَّةٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خَ‍‍رْ‌دَلٍ ‌أَتَيْنَا‌ بِهَا‌ ۗ ‌وَكَفَى‌ بِنَا‌ حَاسِبِينَ
Wa Laqad 'Ātaynā Mūsá Wa Hārūna Al-Furqāna Wa Điyā'an Wa Dhikan Lilmuttaqīna (Al-'Anbyā': 48). 021.048 In the past We granted to Moses and Aaron the criterion (for judgment), and a Light and a Message for those who would do right,- وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ آتَيْنَا‌ مُوسَى وَهَا‌ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌الْفُرْقَ‍انَ ‌وَ‍ضِ‍‍ي‍‍َا‌ءً ‌وَ‌ذِكْر‌اً لِلْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Al-Ladhīna Yakhshawna Rabbahum Bil-Ghaybi Wa Hum Mina As-Sā`ati Mushfiqūna (Al-'Anbyā': 49). 021.049 Those who fear their Lord in their most secret thoughts, and who hold the Hour (of Judgment) in awe. ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍‍‍خْ‍‍شَ‍‍وْنَ ‌‍رَبَّهُمْ بِ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍بِ ‌وَهُمْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةِ مُشْفِ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Wa Hadhā Dhikrun Mubārakun 'Anzalnāhu ۚ 'Afa'antum Lahu Munkirūna (Al-'Anbyā': 50). 021.050 And this is a blessed Message which We have sent down: will ye then reject it? وَهَذَ‌ا ذِكْرٌ مُبَا‌‍‍‍رَكٌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْن‍‍َاهُ ۚ ‌أَفَأَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ لَهُ مُ‍‌‍ن‍‍كِرُ‌ونَ
Wa Laqad 'Ātaynā 'Ibhīma Rushdahu Min Qablu Wa Kunnā Bihi `Ālimīna (Al-'Anbyā': 51). 021.051 We bestowed aforetime on Abraham his rectitude of conduct, and well were We acquainted with him. وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ آتَيْنَ‍‍ا إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ ‌رُشْدَهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ ‌وَكُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِهِ عَالِمِينَ
'Idh Qāla Li'abīhi Wa Qawmihi Mā Hadhihi At-Tamāthīlu Allatī 'Antum Lahā `Ākifūna (Al-'Anbyā': 52). 021.052 Behold! he said to his father and his people, "What are these images, to which ye are (so assiduously) devoted?" إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ لِأَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌وَقَ‍‍وْمِهِ مَا‌ هَذِهِ ‌ال‍‍تَّمَاث‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لُ ‌الَّتِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ لَهَا‌ عَاكِفُونَ
Qālū Wajadnā 'Ābā'anā Lahā `Ābidīna (Al-'Anbyā': 53). 021.053 They said, "We found our fathers worshipping them." قَ‍‍الُوا ‌وَجَ‍‍دْنَ‍‍ا آب‍‍َا‌ءَنَا‌ لَهَا‌ عَابِدِينَ
Qāla Laqad Kuntum 'Antum Wa 'Ābā'uukumĐalālin Mubīnin (Al-'Anbyā': 54). 021.054 He said, "Indeed ye have been in manifest error - ye and your fathers." قَ‍الَ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ ‌وَ‌آب‍‍َا‌ؤُكُمْ فِي ضَ‍‍لاَلٍ مُبِينٍ
Qālū 'Aji'tanā Bil-Ĥaqqi 'Am 'Anta Mina Al-Lā`ibīna (Al-'Anbyā': 55). 021.055 They said, "Have you brought us the Truth, or are you one of those who jest?" قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌أَجِئْتَنَا‌ بِ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ ‌أَمْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍لاَّعِبِينَ
Qāla Bal Rabbukum Rabbu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Al-Ladhī Faţarahunna Wa 'Anā `Alá Dhalikum Mina Ash-Shāhidīna (Al-'Anbyā': 56). 021.056 He said, "Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, He Who created them (from nothing): and I am a witness to this (Truth). قَ‍الَ بَ‍‍ل ‌‍رَبُّكُمْ ‌‍رَبُّ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌الَّذِي فَ‍‍طَ‍رَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌وَ‌أَنَا‌ عَلَى ذَلِكُمْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍شَّاهِدِينَ
Wa Tālllahi La'akīdanna 'Aşnāmakum Ba`da 'An Tuwallū Mudbirīna (Al-'Anbyā': 57). 021.057 "And by God, I have a plan for your idols - after ye go away and turn your backs".. وَتَاللَّهِ لَأَكِيدَنّ‌َ ‌أَ‍‍صْ‍‍نَامَكُمْ بَعْدَ أَ‌ن‌ْ تُوَلُّوا مُ‍‍دْبِ‍‍رِينَ
Faja`alahum Judhādhāan 'Illā Kabīan Lahum La`allahum 'Ilayhi Yarji`ūna (Al-'Anbyā': 58). 021.058 So he broke them to pieces, (all) but the biggest of them, that they might turn (and address themselves) to it. فَجَعَلَهُمْ جُذَ‌ا‌ذ‌اً ‌إِلاَّ‌ كَبِي‍‍ر‌اً لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ يَرْجِعُونَ
Qālū Man Fa`ala Hādhā Bi'ālihatinā 'Innahu Lamina Až-Žālimīna (Al-'Anbyā': 59). 021.059 They said, "Who has done this to our gods? He must indeed be some man of impiety!" قَ‍‍الُوا مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَعَلَ هَذَ‌ا‌ بِآلِهَتِنَ‍‍ا إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Qālū Sami`nā Fatan Yadhkuruhum Yuqālu Lahu 'Ibhīmu (Al-'Anbyā': 60). 021.060 They said, "We heard a youth talk of them: He is called Abraham." قَ‍‍الُوا سَمِعْنَا‌ فَتىً يَذْكُرُهُمْ يُ‍‍قَ‍الُ لَهُ ‌إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اهِيمُ
Qālū Fa'tū Bihi `Alá 'A`yuni An-Nāsi La`allahum Yash/hadūna (Al-'Anbyā': 61). 021.061 They said, "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may bear witness." قَ‍‍الُوا فَأْتُوا بِهِ عَلَ‍‍ى أَعْيُنِ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْهَدُ‌ونَ
Qālū 'A'anta Fa`alta Hādhā Bi'ālihatinā Yā 'Ibhīmu (Al-'Anbyā ': 62). 021.062 They said, "Art thou the one that did this with our gods, O Abraham?" قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ فَعَلْتَ هَذَ‌ا‌ بِآلِهَتِنَا‌ يَا‌إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اهِيمُ
Qāla Bal Fa`alahu Kabīruhumdhā Fās'alūhum 'In Kānū Yanţiqūna (Al-'Anbyā': 63). 021.063 He said: "Nay, this was done by - this is their biggest one! ask them, if they can speak intelligently!" قَ‍الَ بَلْ فَعَلَهُ كَبِيرُهُمْ هَذَ‌ا‌ فَاسْأَلُوهُمْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كَانُوا يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍طِ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Faraja`ū 'Ilá 'Anfusihim Faqālū 'Innakum 'Antumu Až-Žālimūna (Al-'Anbyā': 64). 021.064 So they turned to themselves and said, "Surely ye are the ones in the wrong!" فَ‍‍‍رَجَعُ‍‍وا ‌إِلَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‍‍فُسِهِمْ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌إِنَّ‍‍كُمْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمُونَ
Thumma Nukisū `Alá Ru'ūsihim Laqad `Alimta Mā Hā'uulā' Yanţiqūna (Al-'Anbyā': 65). 021.065 Then were they confounded with shame: (they said), "Thou knowest full well that these (idols) do not speak!" ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ نُكِسُوا عَلَى رُ‌ء‍ُ‍‌وسِهِمْ لَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ عَلِمْتَ مَا‌ ه‍‍َا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء‌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍طِ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ
Qāla 'Afata`budūna Min Dūni Allāhi Mā Lā Yanfa`ukum Shay'āan Wa Lā Yađurrukum (Al-'Anbyā': 66). 021.066 (Abraham) said, "Do ye then worship, besides God, things that can neither be of any good to you nor do you harm? قَ‍الَ ‌أَفَتَعْبُد‍ُ‍‌ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ لاَ‌ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍فَعُكُمْ شَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئاً ‌وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‍ضُ‍‍رُّكُمْ
'Uffin Lakum Wa Limā Ta`budūna Min Dūni Allāhi ۖ 'Afalā Ta`qilūna (Al-'Anbyā': 67). 021.067 "Fie upon you, and upon the things that ye worship besides God! Have ye no sense?".. أُفٍّ لَكُمْ ‌وَلِمَا‌ تَعْبُد‍ُ‍‌ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۖ ‌أَفَلاَ‌ تَعْ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍لُونَ
Qālū Ĥarriqūhu Wa Anşurū 'Ālihatakum 'In Kuntum Fā`ilīna (Al-'Anbyā': 68). 021.068 They said, "Burn him and protect your gods, If ye do (anything at all)!" قَ‍‍الُوا حَرِّ‍‍قُ‍‍وهُ ‌وَ‌ان‍‍صُ‍‍رُ‌وا ‌آلِهَتَكُمْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ فَاعِلِينَ
Qulnā Yā Nāru Kūnī Bardāan Wa Salāmāan `Alá 'Ibhīma (Al-'Anbyā': 69). 021.069 We said, "O Fire! be thou cool, and (a means of) safety for Abraham!" قُ‍‍لْنَا‌ يَا‌ ن‍‍َا‌رُ‌ كُونِي بَرْ‌د‌اً ‌وَسَلاَماً‌ عَلَ‍‍ى إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اهِيمَ
Wa 'Adū Bihi Kaydāan Faja`alnāhumu Al-'Akhsarīna (Al-'Anbyā': 70). 021.070 Then they sought a stratagem against him: but We made them the ones that lost most! وَ‌أَ‌‍‍‍رَ‌ا‌دُ‌وا بِهِ كَيْد‌اً فَجَعَلْنَاهُمُ ‌الأَ‍خْ‍‍سَ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Najjaynāhu Wa Lūţāan 'Ilá Al-'Arđi Allatī Bāraknā Fīhā Lil`ālamīna (Al-'Anbyā': 71). 021.071 But We delivered him and (his nephew) Lut (and directed them) to the land which We have blessed for the nations. وَنَجَّيْن‍‍َاهُ ‌وَلُو‍‍ط‍‍اً ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌الَّتِي بَا‌‍رَكْنَا‌ فِيهَا‌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ
Wa Wahabnā Lahu 'Isĥāqa Wa Ya`qūba Nāfilatan ۖ Wa Kullāan Ja`alnā Şāliĥīna (Al-'Anbyā': 72). 021.072 And We bestowed on him Isaac and, as an additional gift, (a grandson), Jacob, and We made righteous men of every one (of them). وَ‌وَهَ‍‍بْ‍‍نَا‌ لَهُ ‌إِسْح‍‍َا‍‍قَ ‌وَيَعْ‍‍قُ‍‍وبَ نَافِلَةً ۖ ‌وَكُلاًّ جَعَلْنَا‌ صَ‍‍الِحِينَ
Wa Ja`alnāhum 'A'immatan Yahdūna Bi'amrinā Wa 'Awĥaynā 'Ilayhim Fi`la Al-Khayrāti Wa 'Iqāma Aş-Şalāati Wa 'Ītā'a Az-Zakāati ۖ Wa Kānū Lanā `Ābidīna (Al-'Anbyā': 73). 021.073 And We made them leaders, guiding (men) by Our Command, and We sent them inspiration to do good deeds, to establish regular prayers, and to practise regular charity; and they constantly served Us (and Us only). وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ ‌أَئِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ةً يَهْد‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِأَمْ‍‍رِنَا وَ‌أَ‌وْحَيْنَ‍‍ا إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌إِ‍قَ‍امَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةِ ‌وَ‌إِيت‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍‍زَّك‍‍َاةِ ۖ ‌وَكَانُوا لَنَا‌ عَابِدِينَ
Wa Lūţāan 'Ātaynāhu Ĥukmāan Wa `Ilmāan Wa Najjaynāhu Mina Al-Qaryati Allatī Kānat Ta`malu Al-Khabā'itha ۗ 'Innahum Kānū Qawma Saw'in Fāsiqīna (Al-'Anbyā': 74). 021.074 And to Lut, too, We gave Judgment and Knowledge, and We saved him from the town which practised abominations: truly they were a people given to Evil, a rebellious people. وَلُو‍‍ط‍‍اً ‌آتَيْن‍‍َاهُ حُكْماً ‌وَعِلْماً ‌وَنَجَّيْن‍‍َاهُ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍رْيَةِ ‌الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَعْمَلُ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍ب‍‍َائِثَ ۗ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ كَانُوا قَ‍‍وْمَ سَ‍‍وْ‌ء‌‌ٍ فَاسِ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Wa 'Adkhalnāhu Fī Raĥmatinā ۖ 'Innahu Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna (Al-'Anbyā': 75). 021.075 And We admitted him to Our Mercy: for he was one of the Righteous. وَ‌أَ‌دْ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍لْن‍‍َاهُ فِي ‌‍رَحْمَتِنَ‍‍اۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِحِينَ
Wa Nūĥāan 'Idh Nādá Min Qablu Fāstajabnā Lahu Fanajjaynāhu Wa 'Ahlahu Mina Al-Karbi Al-`Ažīmi (Al-'Anbyā': 76). 021.076 (Remember) Noah, when he cried (to Us) aforetime: We listened to his (prayer) and delivered him and his family from great distress. وَنُوحاً ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ نَا‌دَ‌ى‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ فَاسْتَجَ‍‍بْ‍‍نَا‌ لَهُ فَنَجَّيْن‍‍َاهُ ‌وَ‌أَهْلَهُ مِنَ ‌الْكَرْبِ ‌الْعَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمِ
Wa Naşarnāhu Mina Al-Qawmi Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā ۚ 'Innahum Kānū Qawma Saw'in Fa'aghraqnāhum 'Ajma`īna (Al-'Anbyā': 77). 021.077 We helped him against people who rejected Our Signs: truly they were a people given to Evil: so We drowned them (in the Flood) all together. وَنَ‍‍صَ‍‍رْن‍‍َاهُ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَ‍‍اۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ كَانُوا قَ‍‍وْمَ سَ‍‍وْ‌ء‌‌ٍ فَأَغْ‍رَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَاهُمْ ‌أَجْ‍‍مَعِينَ
Wa Dāwūda Wa Sulaymāna 'Idh Yaĥkumāni Fī Al-Ĥarthi 'Idh Nafashat Fīhi Ghanamu Al-Qawmi Wa Kunnā Liĥukmihim Shāhidīna (Al-'Anbyā': 78). 021.078 And remember David and Solomon, when they gave judgment in the matter of the field into which the sheep of certain people had strayed by night: We did witness their judgment. وَ‌دَ‌ا‌و‍ُ‍‌و‌دَ وَسُلَيْم‍‍َانَ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ يَحْكُم‍‍َانِ فِي ‌الْحَرْثِ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ نَفَشَتْ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ غَ‍‍نَمُ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِ ‌وَكُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لِحُكْمِهِمْ شَاهِدِينَ
Fafahhamnāhā Sulaymāna ۚ Wa Kullāan 'Ātaynā Ĥukmāan Wa `Ilmāan ۚ Wa Sakhkharnā Ma`a Dāwūda Al-Jibāla Yusabbiĥna Wa Aţ-Ţayra ۚ Wa Kunnā Fā`ilīna (Al-'Anbyā': 79). 021.079 To Solomon We inspired the (right) understanding of the matter: to each (of them) We gave Judgment and Knowledge; it was Our power that made the hills and the birds celebrate Our praises, with David: it was We Who did (all these things). فَفَهَّمْنَاهَا‌ سُلَيْم‍‍َانَ ۚ ‌وَكُلاًّ ‌آتَيْنَا‌ حُكْماً ‌وَعِلْماً ۚ ‌وَسَ‍‍‍‍خَّ‍‍رْنَا‌ مَعَ ‌دَ‌ا‌و‍ُ‍‌و‌دَ ‌الْجِب‍‍َالَ يُسَبِّحْنَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يْ‍رَۚ ‌وَكُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ فَاعِلِينَ
Wa `Allamnāhu Şan`ata Labūsin Lakum Lituĥşinakum Min Ba'sikum ۖ Fahal 'Antum Shākirūna (Al-'Anbyā': 80). 021.080 It was We Who taught him the making of coats of mail for your benefit, to guard you from each other's violence: will ye then be grateful? وَعَلَّمْن‍‍َاهُ صَ‍‍‌‍نْ‍‍عَةَ لَب‍‍ُ‍وسٍ لَكُمْ لِتُحْ‍‍صِ‍‍نَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَأْسِكُمْ ۖ فَهَلْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ شَاكِرُ‌ونَ
Wa Lisulaymāna Ar-Rīĥa `Āşifatan Tajrī Bi'amrihi 'Ilá Al-'Arđi Allatī Bāraknā Fīhā ۚ Wa Kunnā Bikulli Shay'in `Ālimīna (Al-'Anbyā': 81). 021.081 (It was Our power that made) the violent (unruly) wind flow (tamely) for Solomon, to his order, to the land which We had blessed: for We do know all things. وَلِسُلَيْم‍‍َانَ ‌ال‍‍رّ‍ِ‍ي‍‍حَ عَا‍‍صِ‍‍فَةً تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي بِأَمْ‍‍رِهِ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌الَّتِي بَا‌‍رَكْنَا‌ فِيهَا‌ ۚ ‌وَكُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِكُلِّ شَ‍‍يْءٍ‌ عَالِمِينَ
Wa Mina Ash-Shayāţīni Man Yaghūşūna Lahu Wa Ya`malūna `Amalāan Dūna Dhālika ۖ Wa Kunnā Lahum Ĥāfižīna (Al-'Anbyā': 82). 021.082 And of the evil ones, were some who dived for him, and did other work besides; and it was We Who guarded them. وَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍شَّيَا‍‍طِ‍‍ي‍‍نِ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍غُ‍‍وصُ‍‍ونَ لَهُ ‌وَيَعْمَل‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَمَلاً ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌ذَلِكَ ۖ ‌وَكُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لَهُمْ حَافِ‍‍ظِ‍‍ينَ
Wa 'Ayyūba 'Idh Nādá Rabbahu 'Annī Massanī Ađ-Đurru Wa 'Anta 'Arĥamu Ar-ĥimīna (Al-'Anbyā': 83). 021.083 And (remember) Job, when He cried to his Lord, "Truly distress has seized me, but Thou art the Most Merciful of those that are merciful." وَ‌أَيّ‍‍ُ‍وبَ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ نَا‌دَ‌ى ‍‍‍رَبَّهُ ‌أَنِّ‍‍ي مَسَّنِي ‌ال‍‍ضُّ‍‍رُّ وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ ‌أَ‌رْحَمُ ‌ال‍رَّ‌احِمِينَ
Fāstajabnā Lahu Fakashafnā Mā Bihi Min Đurrin ۖ Wa 'Ātaynāhu 'Ahlahu Wa Mithlahum Ma`ahum Raĥmatan Min `Indinā Wa Dhikrá Lil`ābidīna (Al-'Anbyā': 84). 021.084 So We listened to him: We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his people to him, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who serve Us. فَاسْتَجَ‍‍بْ‍‍نَا‌ لَهُ فَكَشَفْنَا‌ مَا‌ بِهِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ضُ‍‍رّ‌ٍ ۖ ‌وَ‌آتَيْن‍‍َاهُ ‌أَهْلَهُ ‌وَمِثْلَهُمْ مَعَهُمْ ‌‍رَحْمَةً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دِنَا وَ‌ذِكْ‍رَ‌ى‌ لِلْعَابِدِينَ
Wa 'Ismā`īla Wa 'Idrīsa Wa Dhā Al-Kifli ۖ Kullun Mina Aş-Şābirīna (Al-'Anbyā': 85). 021.085 And (remember) Isma'il, Idris, and Zul-kifl, all (men) of constancy and patience; وَ‌إِسْمَاع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌إِ‌دْ‌ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍سَ ‌وَ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْكِفْلِ ۖ كُلٌّ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍ابِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa 'AdkhalnāhumRaĥmatinā ۖ 'Innahum Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna (Al-'Anbyā': 86). 021.086 We admitted them to Our mercy: for they were of the righteous ones. وَ‌أَ‌دْ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍لْنَاهُمْ فِي ‌‍رَحْمَتِنَ‍‍اۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِحِينَ
Wa Dhā An-Nūni 'Idh Dhahaba Mughāđibāan Fažanna 'An Lan Naqdira `Alayhi Fanādá Fī Až-Žulumāti 'An Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā 'Anta Subĥānaka 'Innī Kuntu Mina Až-Žālimīna (Al-'Anbyā': 87). 021.087 And remember Zun-nun, when he departed in wrath: He imagined that We had no power over him! But he cried through the deptHs of darkness, "There is no god but thou: glory to thee: I was indeed wrong!" وَ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍ُ‍ونِ ‌إِ‌ذْ ذَهَبَ مُ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍اضِ‍‍باً فَ‍‍ظَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍دِ‌رَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ فَنَا‌دَ‌ى‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍ظُّ‍‍لُم‍‍َاتِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ لاَ إِلَهَ ‌إِلاَّ أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ سُ‍‍بْ‍‍حَانَكَ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Fāstajabnā Lahu Wa Najjaynāhu Mina Al-Ghammi ۚ Wa Kadhalika Nun Al-Mu'uminīna (Al-'Anbyā': 88). 021.088 So We listened to him: and delivered him from distress: and thus do We deliver those who have faith. فَاسْتَجَ‍‍بْ‍‍نَا‌ لَهُ ‌وَنَجَّيْن‍‍َاهُ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍غَ‍‍مِّ ۚ ‌وَكَذَلِكَ نُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍جِي ‌الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa Zakarīyā 'Idh Nādá Rabbahu Rabbi Lā Tadharnī Fardāan Wa 'Anta Khayru Al-Wārithīna (Al-'Anbyā': 89). 021.089 And (remember) Zakariya, when he cried to his Lord: "O my Lord! leave me not without offspring, though thou art the best of inheritors." وَ‌زَكَ‍‍رِيَّ‍‍ا إِ‌ذْ‌ نَا‌دَ‌ى ‍‍‍رَبَّهُ ‌‍رَبِّ لاَ‌ تَذَ‌رْنِي فَرْ‌د‌اً ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌الْوَ‌ا‌رِثِينَ
Fāstajabnā Lahu Wa Wahabnā Lahu Yaĥyá Wa 'Aşlaĥnā Lahu Zawjahu ۚ 'Innahum Kānū Yusāri`ūna Fī Al-Khayrāti Wa Yad`ūnanā Raghabāan Wa Rahabāan ۖ Wa Kānū Lanā Khāshi`īna (Al-'Anbyā': 90). 021.090 So We listened to him: and We granted him Yahya: We cured his wife's (Barrenness) for him. These (three) were ever quick in emulation in good works; they used to call on Us with love and reverence, and humble themselves before Us. فَاسْتَجَ‍‍بْ‍‍نَا‌ لَهُ ‌وَ‌وَهَ‍‍بْ‍‍نَا‌ لَهُ يَحْيَى وَ‌أَ‍‍صْ‍‍لَحْنَا‌ لَهُ ‌زَ‌وْجَهُ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ كَانُوا يُسَا‌رِع‍‍ُ‍ونَ فِي ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‍‌اتِ ‌وَيَ‍‍دْعُونَنَا ‍رَغَ‍‍باً ‌وَ‌‍رَهَباً ۖ ‌وَكَانُوا لَنَا‌ خَ‍‍اشِعِينَ
Wa A-Atī 'Aĥşanat Farjahā Fanafakhnā Fīhā Min Rūĥinā Wa Ja`alnāhā Wa Abnahā 'Āyatan Lil`ālamīna (Al-'Anbyā': 91). 021.091 And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples. وَ‌الَّتِ‍‍ي ‌أَحْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍نَتْ فَرْجَهَا‌ فَنَفَ‍‍خْ‍‍نَا‌ فِيهَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌رُ‌وحِنَا وَجَعَلْنَاهَا وَ‌ابْ‍‍نَهَ‍‍ا آيَة ً‌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ
'Inna Hadhihi 'Ummatukum 'Ummatan Wāĥidatan Wa 'Anā Rabbukum Fā`budūni (Al-'Anbyā': 92). 021.092 Verily, this brotherhood of yours is a single brotherhood, and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore serve Me (and no other). إِنّ‌َ هَذِهِ ‌أُمَّ‍‍تُكُمْ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ةً ‌وَ‌احِدَةً ‌وَ‌أَنَا ‍‍‍رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُ‌ونِ
Wa Taqaţţa`ū 'Amrahum Baynahum ۖ Kullun 'Ilaynā ji`ūna (Al-'Anbyā': 93). 021.093 But (later generations) cut off their affair (of unity), one from another: (yet) will they all return to Us. وَتَ‍‍قَ‍‍طَّ‍‍عُ‍‍وا ‌أَمْ‍رَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ كُلٌّ ‌إِلَيْنَا ‍رَ‌اجِعُونَ
Faman Ya`mal Mina Aş-Şāliĥāti Wa Huwa Mu'uminun Falā Kufrāna Lisa`yihi Wa 'Innā Lahu Kātibūna (Al-'Anbyā': 94). 021.094 Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. فَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَعْمَلْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ ‌وَهُوَ‌ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلاَ‌ كُفْ‍رَ‍‌انَ لِسَعْيِهِ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَهُ كَاتِبُونَ
Wa Ĥarāmun `Alá Qaryatin 'Ahlaknāhā 'Annahum Lā Yarji`ūna (Al-'Anbyā': 95). 021.095 But there is a ban on any population which We have destroyed: that they shall not return, وَحَ‍‍رَ‍‌امٌ عَلَى‌ قَ‍‍رْيَةٍ ‌أَهْلَكْنَاهَ‍‍ا أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ لاَ‌ يَرْجِعُونَ
Ĥattá 'Idhā Futiĥat Ya'jūju Wa Ma'jūju Wa Hum Min Kulli Ĥadabin Yansilūna (Al-'Anbyā': 96). 021.096 Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill. حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ فُتِحَتْ يَأْج‍‍ُ‍وجُ ‌وَمَأْج‍‍ُ‍وجُ ‌وَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كُلِّ حَدَبٍ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍سِلُونَ
qtaraba Al-Wa`du Al-Ĥaqqu Fa'idhā Hiya Shākhişatun 'Abşāru Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yā Waylanā Qad Kunnā Fī Ghaflatin Min Hādhā Bal Kunnā Žālimīna (Al-'Anbyā ': 97). 021.097 Then will the true promise draw nigh (of fulfilment): then behold! the eyes of the Unbelievers will fixedly stare in horror: "Ah! Woe to us! we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we truly did wrong!" وَ‌ا‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تَ‍رَبَ ‌الْوَعْدُ‌ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ فَإِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هِيَ شَاخِ‍‍صَ‍‍ةٌ ‌أَبْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍ا‌رُ‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا يَا‌وَيْلَنَا‌ قَ‍‍دْ‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ فِي غَ‍‍فْلَةٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ هَذَ‌ا‌ بَلْ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ظَ‍‍الِمِينَ
'Innakum Wa Mā Ta`budūna Min Dūni Allāhi Ĥaşabu Jahannama 'Antum Lahā Wa Aridūna (Al-'Anbyā': 98). 021.098 Verily ye, (unbelievers), and the (false) gods that ye worship besides God, are (but) fuel for Hell! to it will ye (surely) come! إِنَّ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَمَا‌ تَعْبُد‍ُ‍‌ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ حَ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍بُ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ لَهَا وَ‌ا‌رِ‌دُ‌ونَ
Law Kāna Hā'uulā' 'Ālihatan Mā Waradūhā ۖ Wa Kullun Fīhā Khālidūna (Al-'Anbyā': 99). 021.099 If these had been gods, they would not have got there! but each one will abide therein. لَوْ‌ ك‍‍َانَ ه‍‍َا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء آلِهَةً مَا وَ‌‍‍‍رَ‌دُ‌وهَا‌ ۖ ‌وَكُلٌّ فِيهَا‌ خَ‍‍الِدُ‌ونَ
Lahum Fīhā Zafīrun Wa Hum Fīhā Lā Yasma`ūna (Al-'Anbyā': 100). 021.100 There, sobbing will be their lot, nor will they there hear (aught else). لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ ‌وَهُمْ فِيهَا‌ لاَ‌ يَسْمَعُونَ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Sabaqat Lahum Minnā Al-Ĥusná 'Ūlā'ika `Anhā Mub`adūna (Al-'Anbyā': 101). 021.101 Those for whom the good (record) from Us has gone before, will be removed far therefrom. إِنّ‌َ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ سَبَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍تْ لَهُمْ مِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الْحُسْنَ‍‍ى أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ مُ‍‍بْ‍‍عَدُ‌ونَ
Lā Yasma`ūna Ĥasīsahā ۖ Wa Hum Fī Mā Ashtahat 'Anfusuhum Khālidūna (Al-'Anbyā': 102). 021.102 Not the slightest sound will they hear of Hell: what their souls desired, in that will they dwell. لاَ‌ يَسْمَع‍‍ُ‍ونَ حَسِيسَهَا‌ ۖ ‌وَهُمْ فِي مَا‌ ‌اشْتَهَتْ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسُهُمْ خَ‍‍الِدُ‌ونَ
Lā Yaĥzunuhumu Al-Faza`u Al-'Akbaru Wa Tatalaqqāhumu Al-Malā'ikatu Hādhā Yawmukumu Al-Ladhī Kuntum Tū`adūna (Al-'Anbyā': 103). 021.103 The Great Terror will bring them no grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised." لاَ‌ يَحْزُنُهُمُ ‌الْفَزَعُ ‌الأَكْبَرُ وَتَتَلَ‍‍‍‍قَّ‍‍اهُمُ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةُ هَذَ‌ا‌ يَوْمُكُمُ ‌الَّذِي كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ تُوعَدُ‌ونَ
Yawma Naţ As-Samā'a Kaţayyi As-Sijilli Lilkutubi ۚ Kamā Bada'nā 'Awwala Khalqin Nu`īduhu ۚ Wa`dāan `Alaynā ۚ 'Innā Kunnā Fā`ilīna (Al-'Anbyā': 104). 021.104 The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it. يَ‍‍وْمَ نَ‍‍‍‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍وِي ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ كَ‍‍طَ‍‍يِّ ‌ال‍‍سِّجِلِّ لِلْكُتُبِ ۚ كَمَا‌ بَدَ‌أْنَ‍‍ا أَ‌وَّلَ خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قٍ نُعِيدُهُ ۚ ‌وَعْد‌اً‌ عَلَيْنَ‍‍اۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ فَاعِلِينَ
Wa Laqad Katabnā Fī Az-Zabūri Min Ba`di Adh-Dhikri 'Anna Al-'Arđa Yarithuhā `Ibādiya Aş-Şāliĥūna (Al-'Anbyā': 105). 021.105 Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message (given to Moses): My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth." وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ كَتَ‍‍بْ‍‍نَا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍زَّب‍‍ُ‍و‌رِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ ‌ال‍‍ذِّكْ‍‍رِ ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌الأَ‌رْضَ يَ‍‍رِثُهَا‌ عِبَا‌دِيَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِحُونَ
'Inna Fī Hādhā Labalāghāan Liqawmin `Ābidīna (Al-'Anbyā': 106). 021.106 Verily in this (Qur'an) is a Message for people who would (truly) worship God. إِنّ‌َ فِي هَذَ‌ا‌ لَبَلاَ‍‍غ‍‍اً لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ عَابِدِينَ
Wa Mā 'Arsalnāka 'Illā Raĥmatan Lil`ālamīna (Al-'Anbyā': 107). 021.107 We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures. وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌رْسَلْن‍‍َاكَ ‌إِلاَّ ‍‍‍رَحْمَة ً‌ لِلْعَالَمِينَ
Qul 'Innamā Yūĥá 'Ilayya 'Annamā 'Ilahukum 'Ilahun Wāĥidun ۖ Fahal 'Antum Muslimūna (Al-'Anbyā': 108). 021.108 Say: "What has come to me by inspiration is that your God is One God: will ye therefore bow to His Will (in Islam)?" قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ يُوحَ‍‍ى إِلَيَّ ‌أَنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا إِلَهُكُمْ ‌إِلَهٌ ‌وَ‌احِدٌ ۖ فَهَلْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
Fa'in Tawallawā Faqul 'Ādhantukum `Alá Sawā'in ۖ Wa 'In 'Adrī 'Aqarībun 'Am Ba`īdun Mā Tū`adūna (Al-'Anbyā': 109). 021.109 But if they turn back, Say: "I have proclaimed the Message to you all alike and in truth; but I know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far. فَإِ‌ن‌ْ تَوَلَّوْ‌ا‌ فَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍لْ ‌آ‌ذَ‌نْ‍‍تُكُمْ عَلَى‌ سَو‍َ‌اء‌ٍ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌دْ‌رِي ‌أَقَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍بٌ ‌أَمْ بَع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍دٌ مَا‌ تُوعَدُ‌ونَ
'Innahu Ya`lamu Al-Jahra Mina Al-Qawli Wa Ya`lamu Mā Taktumūna (Al-'Anbyā': 110). 021.110 "It is He Who knows what is open in speech and what ye hide (in your hearts). إِنَّ‍‍هُ يَعْلَمُ ‌الْجَهْ‍‍‍رَ‌ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْلِ ‌وَيَعْلَمُ مَا‌ تَكْتُمُونَ
Wa 'In 'Adrī La`allahu Fitnatun Lakum Wa Matā`un 'Ilá Ĥīnin (Al-'Anbyā': 111). 021.111 "I know not but that it may be a trial for you, and a grant of (worldly) livelihood (to you) for a time." وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌دْ‌رِي لَعَلَّهُ فِتْنَة ٌ لَكُمْ ‌وَمَت‍‍َاعٌ ‌إِلَى‌ حِينٍ
Qāla Rabbi Aĥkum Bil-Ĥaqqi ۗ Wa Rabbunā Ar-Raĥmānu Al-Musta`ānu `Alá Mā Taşifūna (Al-'Anbyā': 112). 021.112 Say: "O my Lord! judge Thou in truth!" "Our Lord Most Gracious is the One Whose assistance should be sought against the blasphemies ye utter!" قَ‍الَ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌احْكُمْ بِ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ ۗ ‌وَ‌‍رَبُّنَا‌ ‌ال‍رَّحْمَنُ ‌الْمُسْتَع‍‍َانُ عَلَى‌ مَا‌ تَ‍‍صِ‍‍فُونَ
