'Alif-Lām- ۚ Kitābun 'Anzalnāhu 'Ilayka Litukhrija An-Nāsa Mina Až-Žulumāti 'Ilá An-Nūr Bi'idhni Rabbihim 'Ilá Şirāţi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥamīdi ('ibm: 1). 014.001 A. L. R. A Book which We have revealed unto thee, in order that thou mightest lead mankind out of the depths of darkness into light - by the leave of their Lord - to the Way of (Him) the Exalted in power, worthy of all praise!- أَلِف-لَام-‍‍‍رَ‌ا‌ ۚ كِت‍‍َابٌ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْن‍‍َاهُ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ لِتُ‍‍خْ‍‍رِجَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ظُّ‍‍لُم‍‍َاتِ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍نُّ‍‍و‌ر‌ بِإِ‌ذْنِ ‌‍رَبِّهِمْ ‌إِلَى‌ صِ‍رَ‍‌اطِ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زِ‌ ‌الْحَمِيدِ
Al-Lahi Al-Ladhī Lahu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi ۗ Wa Waylun Lilkāfirīna Min `Adhābin Shadīdin ('ibm: 2). 014.002 Of God, to Whom do belong all things in the heavens and on earth! But alas for the Unbelievers for a terrible penalty (their Unfaith will bring them)!- ‌اللَّهِ ‌الَّذِي لَهُ مَا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَمَا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ۗ ‌وَ‌وَيْ‍‍ل ٌ لِلْكَافِ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٍ شَدِيدٍ
Al-Ladhīna Yastaĥibbūna Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā `Alá Al-'Ākhirati Wa Yaşuddūna `An Sabīli Allāhi Wa Yabghūnahā `Iwajāan ۚ 'Ūlā'ika Fī Đalālin Ba`īdin ('ibm: 3). 014.003 Those who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of God and seek therein something crooked: they are astray by a long distance. ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَسْتَحِبّ‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةَ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌الآ‍‍‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ‌وَيَ‍‍صُ‍‍دّ‍ُ‍‌ونَ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَيَ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍غُ‍‍ونَهَا‌ عِوَجاً‌ ۚ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ فِي ضَ‍‍لاَلٍ بَعِيدٍ
Wa Mā 'Arsalnā Min Rasūlin 'Illā Bilisāni Qawmihi Liyubayyina Lahum ۖ Fayuđillu Allāhu Man Yashā'u Wa Yahdī Man Yashā'u ۚ Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu ('ibm: 4). 014.004 We sent not an apostle except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now God leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is Exalted in power, full of Wisdom. وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍‍‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٍ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بِلِس‍‍َانِ قَ‍‍وْمِهِ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ ۖ فَيُ‍‍ضِ‍‍لُّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ وَيَهْدِي مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۚ ‌وَهُوَ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌الْحَكِيمُ
Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Mūsá Bi'āyātinā 'An 'Akhrij Qawmaka Mina Až-Žulumāti 'Ilá An-Nūri Wa Dhakkirhum Bi'ayyāmi Allāhi ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Likulli Şabbārin Shakūrin ('ibm: 5). 014.005 We sent Moses with Our signs (and the command). "Bring out thy people from the depths of darkness into light, and teach them to remember the Days of God." Verily in this there are Signs for such as are firmly patient and constant,- grateful and appreciative. وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ مُوسَى‌ بِآيَاتِنَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَ‍خْ‍‍رِج‌ْ قَ‍‍وْمَكَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ظُّ‍‍لُم‍‍َاتِ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍ُ‍و‌رِ ‌وَ‌ذَكِّ‍‍ر‌ْهُمْ بِأَيّ‍‍َامِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ فِي ‌ذَلِكَ لَآي‍‍َاتٍ لِكُلِّ صَ‍‍بّ‍‍َا‌ر‌‌ٍ شَكُو‌رٍ
Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsá Liqawmihi Adhkurū Ni`mata Allāhi `Alaykum 'Idh 'Anjākum Min 'Āli Fir`awna Yasūmūnakum Sū'a Al-`Adhābi Wa Yudhabbiĥūna 'Abnā'akum Wa Yastaĥyūna Nisā'akum ۚ Wa Fī Dhalikum Balā'un Min Rabbikum `Ažīmun ('ibm: 6). 014.006 Remember! Moses said to his people: "Call to mind the favour of God to you when He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: they set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons, and let your women-folk live: therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord." وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ مُوسَى‌ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِهِ ‌ا‌ذْكُرُ‌وا نِعْمَةَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْكُمْ ‌إِ‌ذْ أَ‌ن‍‍جَاكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌آلِ فِ‍‍ر‌ْعَ‍‍وْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ءَ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ ‌وَيُذَبِّح‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَبْ‍‍ن‍‍َا‌ءَكُمْ ‌وَيَسْتَحْي‍‍ُ‍ونَ نِس‍‍َا‌ءَكُمْ ۚ ‌وَفِي ‌ذَلِكُمْ بَلاَ‌ءٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
Wa 'Idh Ta'adhdhana Rabbukum La'in Shakartum La'azīdannakum ۖ Wa La'in Kafartum 'Inna `Adhābī Lashadīdun ('ibm: 7). 014.007 And remember! your Lord caused to be declared (publicly): "If ye are grateful, I will add more (favours) unto you; But if ye show ingratitude, truly My punishment is terrible indeed." وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ تَأَ‌ذَّنَ ‌‍‍‍رَبُّكُمْ لَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَ‌زِيدَنَّ‍‍كُمْ ۖ ‌وَلَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كَفَرْتُمْ ‌إِنَّ عَذَ‌ابِي لَشَدِيدٌ
Wa Qāla Mūsá 'In Takfurū 'Antum Wa Man Al-'Arđi Jamī`āan Fa'inna Allāha Laghanīyun Ĥamīdun ('ibm: 8). 014.008 And Moses said: "If ye show ingratitude, ye and all on earth together, yet is God free of all wants, worthy of all praise. وَ‍‍قَ‍الَ مُوسَ‍‍ى إِ‌ن‌ْ تَكْفُرُ‌وا ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ جَمِيعاً فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لَ‍‍غَ‍‍نِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ
'Alam Ya'tikum Naba'u Al-Ladhīna Min Qablikum Qawmi Nūĥin Wa `Ādin Wa Thamūda Wa ۛ Al-Ladhīna Min Ba`dihim ۛ Lā Ya`lamuhum 'Illā Al-Lahu ۚ Jā'at/hum Rusuluhum Bil-Bayyināti Faraddū 'Aydiyahum Fī 'Afwāhihim Wa Qālū 'Innā Kafarnā Bimā 'Ursiltum Bihi Wa 'Innā Lafī Shakkin Mimmā Tad`ūnanā 'Ilayhi Murībin ('ibm: 9). 014.009 Has not the story reached you, (O people!), of those who (went) before you? - of the people of Noah, and 'Ad, and Thamud? - And of those who (came) after them? None knows them but God. To them came apostles with Clear (Signs); but they put their hands up to their mouths, and said: "We do deny (the mission) on which ye have been sent, and we are really in suspicious (disquieting) doubt as to that to which ye invite us." أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكُمْ قَ‍‍وْمِ ن‍‍ُ‍وحٍ ‌وَع‍‍َا‌د‌ٍ ‌وَثَم‍‍ُ‍و‌دَ ۛ ‌وَ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِهِمْ ۛ لاَ‌ يَعْلَمُهُمْ ‌إِلاَّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۚ ج‍‍َا‌ءَتْهُمْ ‌رُسُلُهُمْ بِ‌الْبَيِّن‍‍َاتِ فَ‍رَ‌دُّ‌وا ‌أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِ‍‍ي ‌أَفْوَ‌اهِهِمْ ‌وَقَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ كَفَرْنَا‌ بِمَ‍‍ا أُ‌رْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تَ‍‍دْعُونَنَ‍‍ا إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مُ‍‍رِيبٍ
Qālat Rusuluhum 'Afī Al-Lahi Shakkunţiri As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۖ Yad`ūkum Liyaghfira Lakum Min Dhunūbikum Wa Yu'uakhkhirakum 'Ilá 'Ajalin Musamman ۚ Qālū 'In 'Antum 'Illā Basharun Mithlunā Turīdūna 'An Taşuddūnā `Ammā Kāna Ya`budu 'Ābā'uunā Fa'tūnā Bisulţānin Mubīnin ('ibm: 10). 014.010 Their apostles said: "Is there a doubt about God, The Creator of the heavens and the earth? It is He Who invites you, in order that He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a term appointed!" They said: "Ah! ye are no more than human, like ourselves! Ye wish to turn us away from the (gods) our fathers used to worship: then bring us some clear authority." قَ‍‍الَتْ ‌رُسُلُهُمْ ‌أَفِي ‌اللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِ‍‍رِ‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ۖ يَ‍‍دْعُوكُمْ لِيَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رَ لَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذُنُوبِكُمْ ‌وَيُؤَ‍‍خِّ‍رَكُمْ ‌إِلَ‍‍ى أَجَلٍ مُسَ‍‍مّ‍‍ىً ۚ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بَشَرٌ مِثْلُنَا‌ تُ‍‍رِيد‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَ‍‍صُ‍‍دُّ‌ونَا‌ عَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ك‍‍َانَ يَعْبُدُ آب‍‍َا‌ؤُنَا‌ فَأْتُونَا‌ بِسُلْ‍‍طَ‍انٍ مُبِينٍ
Qālat Lahum Rusuluhum 'In Naĥnu 'Illā Basharun Mithlukum Wa Lakinna Allāha Yamunnu `Alá Man Yashā'u Min `Ibādihi ۖ Wa Mā Kāna Lanā 'An Na'tiyakum Bisulţānin 'Illā Bi'idhni Allāhi ۚ Wa `Alá Allāhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu'uminūna ('ibm: 11). 014.011 Their apostles said to them: "True, we are human like yourselves, but God doth grant His grace to such of his servants as He pleases. It is not for us to bring you an authority except as God permits. And on God let all men of faith put their trust. قَ‍‍الَتْ لَهُمْ ‌رُسُلُهُمْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ نَحْنُ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَمُ‍‍نُّ عَلَى‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِبَا‌دِهِ ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ لَنَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ نَأْتِيَكُمْ بِسُلْ‍‍طَ‍انٍ ‌إِلاَّ‌ بِإِ‌ذْنِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۚ ‌وَعَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ‌الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Mā Lanā 'Allā Natawakkala `Alá Allāhi Wa Qad Hadānā Subulanā ۚ Wa Lanaşbiranna `Alá Mādhaytumūnā ۚ Wa `Alá Allāhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mutawakkilūna ('ibm: 12). 014.012 "No reason have we why we should not put our trust on God. Indeed He Has guided us to the Ways we (follow). We shall certainly bear with patience all the hurt you may cause us. For those who put their trust should put their trust on God." وَمَا‌ لَنَ‍‍ا أَلاَّ‌ نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ هَدَ‌انَا‌ سُبُلَنَا‌ ۚ ‌وَلَنَ‍‍صْ‍‍بِ‍رَنّ‌َ عَلَى‌ مَ‍‍ا آ‌ذَيْتُمُونَا‌ ۚ ‌وَعَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ‌الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lirusulihim Lanukhrijannakum Min 'Arđinā 'Aw Lata`ūdunna Fī Millatinā ۖ Fa'awĥá 'Ilayhim Rabbuhum Lanuhlikanna Až-Žālimīna ('ibm: 13). 014.013 And the Unbelievers said to their apostles: "Be sure we shall drive you out of our land, or ye shall return to our religion." But their Lord inspired (this Message) to them: "Verily We shall cause the wrong-doers to perish! وَ‍‍قَ‍الَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا لِرُسُلِهِمْ لَنُ‍‍خْ‍‍رِجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌رْضِ‍‍نَ‍‍ا أَ‌وْ‌ لَتَعُو‌دُنّ‌َ فِي مِلَّتِنَا‌ ۖ فَأَ‌وْحَ‍‍ى إِلَيْهِمْ ‌‍رَبُّهُمْ لَنُهْلِكَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Lanuskinannakumu Al-'Arđa Min Ba`dihim ۚ Dhālika Liman Khāfa Maqāmī Wa Khāfa Wa`īdi ('ibm: 14). 014.014 "And verily We shall cause you to abide in the land, and succeed them. This for such as fear the Time when they shall stand before My tribunal,- such as fear the punishment denounced." وَلَنُسْكِنَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كُمُ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِهِمْ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ لِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خَ‍افَ مَ‍‍قَ‍‍امِي ‌وَ‍خَ‍افَ ‌وَعِيدِ
Wa Astaftaĥū Wa Khāba Kullu Jabbārin `Anīdin ('ibm: 15). 014.015 But they sought victory and decision (there and then), and frustration was the lot of every powerful obstinate transgressor. وَ‌اسْتَفْتَحُوا ‌وَ‍‍خَ‍ابَ كُلُّ جَبّ‍‍َا‌رٍ‌ عَنِيدٍ
Min Warā'ihi Jahannamu Wa Yusqá Min Mā'in Şadīdin ('ibm: 16). 014.016 In front of such a one is Hell, and he is given, for drink, boiling fetid water. مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وَ‌ر‍َ‍‌ائِهِ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مُ ‌وَيُسْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍ى‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ م‍‍َا‌ء‌‌ٍ صَ‍‍دِيدٍ
Yatajarra`uhu Wa Lā Yakādu Yusīghuhu Wa Ya'tīhi Al-Mawtu Min Kulli Makānin Wa Mā Huwa Bimayyitin ۖ Wa Min Warā'ihi `Adhābun Ghalīžun ('ibm: 17). 014.017 In gulps will he sip it, but never will he be near swallowing it down his throat: death will come to him from every quarter, yet will he not die: and in front of him will be a chastisement unrelenting. يَتَجَ‍‍‍رَّعُهُ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَك‍‍َا‌دُ‌ يُسِي‍‍غُ‍‍هُ ‌وَيَأْت‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌الْمَ‍‍وْتُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كُلِّ مَك‍‍َانٍ ‌وَمَا‌ هُوَ‌ بِمَيِّتٍ ۖ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وَ‌ر‍َ‍‌ائِهِ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ غَ‍‍لِي‍‍ظٌ
Mathalu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Birabbihim ۖ 'A`māluhum Karamādin Ashtaddat Bihi Ar-Rīĥu Fī Yawmin `Āşifin ۖ Lā Yaqdirūna Mimmā Kasabū `Alá Shay'in ۚ Dhālika Huwa Ađ-Đalālu Al-Ba`īdu ('ibm: 18). 014.018 The parable of those who reject their Lord is that their works are as ashes, on which the wind blows furiously on a tempestuous day: No power have they over aught that they have earned: that is the straying far, far (from the goal). مَثَلُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ كَفَرُ‌وا بِ‍‍‍رَبِّهِمْ ۖ ‌أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَ‍رَم‍‍َا‌د‌‌ٍ ‌اشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ ‌ال‍‍رّ‍ِ‍ي‍‍حُ فِي يَ‍‍وْمٍ عَاصِ‍‍فٍ ۖ لاَ‌ يَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍دِ‌ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ كَسَبُوا عَلَى‌ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ هُوَ ‌ال‍‍ضَّ‍‍لاَلُ ‌الْبَعِيدُ
'Alam Tará 'Anna Allāha Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Bil-Ĥaqqi ۚ 'In Yasha' Yudh/hibkum Wa Ya'ti Bikhalqin Jadīdin ('ibm: 19). 014.019 Seest thou not that God created the heavens and the earth in Truth? If He so will, He can remove you and put (in your place) a new creation? أَلَمْ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضَ بِ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ ۚ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَشَأْ‌ يُذْهِ‍‍بْ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَيَأْتِ بِ‍‍خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قٍ جَدِيدٍ
Wa Mā Dhālika `Alá Allāhi Bi`azīzin ('ibm: 20). 014.020 Nor is that for God any great matter. وَمَا ذَلِكَ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ بِعَزِيزٍ
Wa Barazū Lillāh Jamī`āan Faqāla Ađ-Đu`afā'u Lilladhīna Astakbarū 'Innā Kunnā Lakum Taba`āan Fahal 'Antum Mughnūna `Annā Min `Adhābi Allāhi Min Shay'in ۚ Qālū Law Hadānā Al-Lahu Lahadaynākum ۖ Sawā'un `Alaynā 'Ajazi`nā 'Am Şabarnā Mā Lanā Min Maĥīşin ('ibm: 21). 014.021 They will all be marshalled before God together: then will the weak say to those who were arrogant, "For us, we but followed you; can ye then avail us to all against the wrath of God?" They will reply, "If we had received the Guidance of God, we should have given it to you: to us it makes no difference (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with patience: for ourselves there is no way of escape." وَبَ‍‍‍رَ‌زُ‌وا لِلَّهِ جَمِيعاً فَ‍‍قَ‍الَ ‌ال‍‍ضُّ‍‍عَف‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اسْتَكْبَرُ‌وا ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لَكُمْ تَبَعاً فَهَلْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ مُ‍‍غْ‍‍ن‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ ۚ قَ‍‍الُوا لَوْ‌ هَدَ‌انَا‌ ‌اللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ ۖ سَو‍َ‌اءٌ‌ عَلَيْنَ‍‍ا أَجَزِعْنَ‍‍ا أَمْ صَ‍‍بَرْنَا‌ مَا‌ لَنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَحِي‍‍صٍ
Wa Qāla Ash-Shayţānu Lammā Quđiya Al-'Amru 'Inna Allāha Wa`adakum Wa`da Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Wa`adtukum Fa'akhlaftukum ۖ Wa Mā Kāna Lī `Alaykum Min Sulţānin 'Illā 'An Da`awtukum Fāstajabtumۖ Falā Talūmūnī Wa Lūmū 'Anfusakum ۖ Mā 'Anā Bimuşrikhikum Wa Mā 'Antum Bimuşrikhīya ۖ 'Innī Kafartu Bimā 'Ashraktumūnī Min Qablu ۗ 'Inna Až-Žālimīna Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun ('ibm: 22). 014.022 And Satan will say when the matter is decided: "It was God Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call you but ye listened to me: then reproach not me, but reproach your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen to mine. I reject your former act in associating me with God. For wrong-doers there must be a grievous penalty." وَ‍‍قَ‍الَ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انُ لَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ قُ‍‍ضِ‍‍يَ ‌الأَمْرُ إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَعَدَكُمْ ‌وَعْدَ ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ ‌وَ‌وَعَ‍‍دْتُكُمْ فَأَ‍خْ‍‍لَفْتُكُمْ ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ لِي عَلَيْكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سُلْ‍‍طَ‍انٍ ‌إِلاَّ أَ‌ن‌ْ ‌دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَاسْتَجَ‍‍بْ‍‍تُمْ لِي ۖ فَلاَ‌ تَلُومُونِي ‌وَلُومُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فُسَكُمْ ۖ مَ‍‍ا أَنَا‌ بِمُ‍‍صْ‍‍رِ‍خِ‍‍كُمْ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ بِمُ‍‍صْ‍‍رِ‍خِ‍‍يَّ ۖ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي كَفَرْتُ بِمَ‍‍ا أَشْ‍رَكْتُمُونِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ لَهُمْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ ‌أَلِيمٌ
Wa 'Udkhila Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Bi'idhni Rabbihim ۖ Taĥīyatuhum Fīhā Salāmun ('ibm: 23). 014.023 But those who believe and work righteousness will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow,- to dwell therein for aye with the leave of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be: "Peace!" وَ‌أُ‌دْ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍لَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا ‌وَعَمِلُوا ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍َاتِ جَ‍‍نّ‍‍َاتٍ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَحْتِهَا‌ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رُ‌ خَ‍‍الِد‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِيهَا‌ بِإِ‌ذْنِ ‌‍رَبِّهِمْ ۖ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا‌ سَلاَمٌ
'Alam Tará Kayfa Đaraba Allāhu Mathalāan Kalimatan Ţayyibatan Kashajaratin Ţayyibatin 'Aşluhā Thābitun Wa Far`uhā Fī As-Samā'i ('ibm: 24). 014.024 Seest thou not how God sets forth a parable? - A goodly word like a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the heavens,- of its Lord. So God sets forth parables for men, in order that they may receive admonition. أَلَمْ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى‌ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ضَ‍رَبَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مَثَلاً كَلِمَةً طَ‍‍يِّبَةً كَشَجَ‍رَةٍ طَ‍‍يِّبَةٍ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍لُهَا‌ ثَابِتٌ ‌وَفَرْعُهَا‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ء‍ِ‍
Tu'utī 'Ukulahā Kulla Ĥīnin Bi'idhni Rabbihā ۗ Wa Yađribu Allāhu Al-'Amthāla Lilnnāsi La`allahum Yatadhakkarūna ('ibm: 25). 014.025 It brings forth its fruit at all times, by the leave of its Lord. So God sets forth parables for men, in order that they may receive admonition. تُؤْتِ‍‍ي ‌أُكُلَهَا‌ كُلَّ ح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نٍ بِإِ‌ذْنِ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّهَا‌ ۗ ‌وَيَ‍‍ضْ‍‍رِبُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الأَمْث‍‍َالَ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُ‌ونَ
Wa Mathalu Kalimatin Khabīthatin Kashajaratin Khabīthatin Ajtuththat Min Fawqi Al-'Arđi Mā Lahā Min Qarārin ('ibm: 26). 014.026 And the parable of an evil Word is that of an evil tree: It is torn up by the root from the surface of the earth: it has no stability. وَمَثَلُ كَلِمَةٍ خَ‍‍بِيثَةٍ كَشَجَ‍رَةٍ خَ‍‍بِيثَةٍ ‌اجْ‍‍تُثَّتْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍وْ‍‍قِ ‌الأَ‌رْضِ مَا‌ لَهَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍رَ‌ا‌رٍ
Yuthabbitu Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Bil-Qawli Ath-Thābiti Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Fī Al-'Ākhirati ۖ Wa Yuđillu Allāhu Až-Žālimīna ۚ Wa Yaf`alu Allāhu Mā Yashā'u ('ibm: 27). 014.027 God will establish in strength those who believe, with the word that stands firm, in this world and in the Hereafter; but God will leave, to stray, those who do wrong: God doeth what He willeth. يُثَبِّتُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا بِ‌الْ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍وْلِ ‌ال‍‍ثَّابِتِ فِي ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَفِي ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ۖ ‌وَيُ‍‍ضِ‍‍لُّ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ۚ ‌وَيَفْعَلُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ مَا‌ يَش‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍
'Alam Tará 'Ilá Al-Ladhīna Baddalū Ni`mata Allāhi Kufan Wa 'Aĥallū Qawmahum Dāra Al-Bawāri ('ibm: 28). 014.028 Hast thou not turned thy vision to those who have changed the favour of God. Into blasphemy and caused their people to descend to the House of Perdition?- أَلَمْ تَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى إِلَى‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَةَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ كُفْر‌اً ‌وَ‌أَحَلُّوا قَ‍‍وْمَهُمْ ‌د‍َ‌ا‍رَ‌الْبَوَ‌ا‌رِ
Jahannama Yaşlawnahā ۖ Wa Bi'sa Al-Qarāru ('ibm: 29). 014.029 Into Hell? They will burn therein,- an evil place to stay in! جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ يَ‍‍‍‍صْ‍‍لَوْنَهَا‌ ۖ ‌وَبِئْسَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍رَ‌ا‌رُ
Wa Ja`alū Lillāh 'Andādāan Liyuđillū `An Sabīlihi ۗ Qul Tamatta`ū Fa'inna Maşīrakum 'Ilá An-Nāri ('ibm: 30). 014.030 And they set up (idols) as equal to God, to mislead (men) from the Path! Say: "Enjoy (your brief power)! But verily ye are making straightway for Hell!" وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍دَ‌ا‌د‌اً لِيُ‍‍‍‍ضِ‍‍لُّوا عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سَبِيلِهِ ۗ قُ‍‍لْ تَمَتَّعُوا فَإِنّ‌َ مَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍رَكُمْ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌رِ
Qul Li`ibādiya Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Yuqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa Yunfiqū Mimmā Razaqnāhum Siran Wa `Alāniyatan Min Qabli 'An Ya'tiya Yawmun Lā Bay`un Fīhi Wa Lā Khilālun ('ibm: 31). 014.031 Speak to my servants who have believed, that they may establish regular prayers, and spend (in charity) out of the sustenance we have given them, secretly and openly, before the coming of a Day in which there will be neither mutual bargaining nor befriending. قُ‍‍لْ لِعِبَا‌دِيَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا يُ‍‍قِ‍‍يمُوا ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةَ ‌وَيُ‍‌‍ن‍‍فِ‍‍قُ‍‍وا مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا ‍رَ‌زَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَاهُمْ سِ‍‍ر‍‍ّ‍‌اً ‌وَعَلاَنِيَةً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَأْتِيَ يَ‍‍وْم ٌ لاَ‌ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍عٌ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌وَلاَ خِ‍‍لاَلٌ
Al-Lahu Al-Ladhī Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Wa 'Anzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fa'akhraja Bihi Mina Ath-Thamarāti Rizqāan Lakum ۖ Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-Fulka Litajriya Fī Al-Baĥri Bi'amrihi ۖ Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-'Anhāra ('ibm: 32). 014.032 It is God Who hath created the heavens and the earth and sendeth down rain from the skies, and with it bringeth out fruits wherewith to feed you; it is He Who hath made the ships subject to you, that they may sail through the sea by His command; and the rivers (also) hath He made subject to you. ‌اللَّهُ ‌الَّذِي خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضَ ‌وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍زَلَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ م‍‍َا‌ءً فَأَ‍خْ‍رَجَ بِهِ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ثَّمَ‍رَ‍‌اتِ ‌رِ‌زْق‍‍اً لَكُمْ ۖ ‌وَسَ‍‍خَّ‍رَ‌ لَكُمُ ‌الْفُلْكَ لِتَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِيَ فِي ‌الْبَحْ‍‍رِ بِأَمْ‍‍رِهِ ۖ ‌وَسَ‍‍خَّ‍رَ‌ لَكُمُ ‌الأَنهَا‌‍رَ
Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Dā'ibayni ۖ Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-Layla Wa An-Nahār ('ibm: 33). 014.033 And He hath made subject to you the sun and the moon, both diligently pursuing their courses; and the night and the day hath he (also) made subject to you. وَسَ‍‍خَّ‍رَ‌ لَكُمُ ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسَ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍مَ‍رَ د‍َ‍‌ائِبَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ ۖ ‌وَسَ‍‍خَّ‍رَ‌ لَكُمُ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍هَا‌ر
Wa 'Ātākum Min Kulli Mā Sa'altumūhu ۚ Wa 'In Ta`uddū Ni`mata Allāhi Lā Tuĥşūhā ۗ 'Inna Al-'Insāna Lažalūmun Kaffārun ('ibm: 34). 014.034 And He giveth you of all that ye ask for. But if ye count the favours of God, never will ye be able to number them. Verily, man is given up to injustice and ingratitude. وَ‌آتَاكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كُلِّ مَا‌ سَأَلْتُم‍‍ُ‍وهُ ۚ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ تَعُدُّ‌وا نِعْمَةَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ لاَ‌ تُحْ‍‍‍‍صُ‍‍وهَ‍‍اۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانَ لَ‍‍ظَ‍‍ل‍‍ُ‍ومٌ كَفَّا‌رٌ
Wa 'Idh Qāla 'Ibhīmu Rabbi Aj`al Hādhā Al-Balada 'Āmināan Wa Ajnubnī Wa Banīya 'An Na`buda Al-'Aşnāma ('ibm: 35). 014.035 Remember Abraham said: "O my Lord! make this city one of peace and security: and preserve me and my sons from worshipping idols. وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ ‌إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مُ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌اجْ‍‍عَلْ هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْبَلَدَ آمِناً ‌وَ‌اجْ‍‍نُ‍‍بْ‍‍نِي ‌وَبَنِيَّ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ نَعْبُدَ ‌الأَ‍صْ‍‍نَامَ
Rabbi 'Innahunna 'Ađlalna Kathīan Mina An-Nāsi ۖ Faman Tabi`anī Fa'innahu Minnī ۖ Wa Man `Aşānī Fa'innaka Ghafūrun Raĥīmun ('ibm: 36). 014.036 "O my Lord! they have indeed led astray many among mankind; He then who follows my (ways) is of me, and he that disobeys me,- but Thou art indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. ‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‍ضْ‍‍لَلْنَ كَثِي‍‍ر‌اً مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ۖ فَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّ‍‍هُ مِ‍‍نِّ‍‍ي ۖ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَ‍‍صَ‍‍انِي فَإِنَّ‍‍كَ غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ ‌‍رَحِيمٌ
Rabbanā 'Innī 'Askantu Min Dhurrīyatī Biwādin Ghayri Dhī Zar`in `Inda Baytika Al-Muĥarrami Rabbanā Liyuqīmū Aş-Şalāata Fāj`al 'Af'idatan Mina An-Nāsi Tahwī 'Ilayhim Wa Arzuqhum Mina Ath-Thamarāti La`allahum Yashkurūna ('ibm: 37). 014.037 "O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Thy Sacred House; in order, O our Lord, that they may establish regular Prayer: so fill the hearts of some among men with love towards them, and feed them with fruits: so that they may give thanks. ‍‍‍رَبَّنَ‍‍ا إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَسْكَ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذُ‌رِّيَّتِي بِو‍َ‌ادٍ‌ غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رِ ‌ذِي ‌زَ‌رْعٍ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ‌ بَيْتِكَ ‌الْمُحَ‍رَّمِ ‌‍رَبَّنَا‌ لِيُ‍‍قِ‍‍يمُوا ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةَ فَاجْ‍‍عَلْ ‌أَفْئِدَةً مِنَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ تَهْوِي ‌إِلَيْهِمْ ‌وَ‌ا‌رْ‌زُ‍قْ‍‍‍‍هُمْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍ثَّمَ‍رَ‍‌اتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُ‌ونَ
Rabbanā 'Innaka Ta`lamu Mā Nukhfī Wa Mā Nu`linu ۗ Wa Mā Yakhfá `Alá Allāhi Min Shay'in Al-'Arđi Wa Lā Fī As-Samā'i ('ibm: 38). 014.038 "O our Lord! truly Thou dost know what we conceal and what we reveal: for nothing whatever is hidden from God, whether on earth or in heaven. ‍‍‍رَبَّنَ‍‍ا إِنَّ‍‍كَ تَعْلَمُ مَا‌ نُ‍‍خْ‍‍فِي ‌وَمَا‌ نُعْلِنُ ۗ ‌وَمَا‌ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍فَى‌ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَلاَ‌ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ء‍ِ‍
Al-Ĥamdu Lillāh Al-Ladhī Wahaba Lī `Alá Al-Kibari 'Ismā`īla Wa 'Isĥāqa ۚ 'Inna Rabbī Lasamī`u Ad-Du`ā'i ('ibm: 39). 014.039 "Praise be to God, Who hath granted unto me in old age Isma'il and Isaac: for truly my Lord is He, the Hearer of Prayer! ‌الْحَمْدُ‌ لِلَّهِ ‌الَّذِي ‌وَهَبَ لِي عَلَى‌ ‌الْكِبَ‍‍رِ ‌إِسْمَاع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌إِسْح‍‍َا‍‍قَ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌‍رَبِّي لَسَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌ال‍‍دُّع‍‍َا‌ء‍ِ‍
Rabbi Aj`alnī Muqīma Aş-Şalāati Wa Min Dhurrīyatī ۚ Rabbanā Wa Taqabbal Du`ā'i ('ibm: 40). 014.040 O my Lord! make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring O our Lord! and accept Thou my Prayer. ‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌اجْ‍‍عَلْنِي مُ‍‍قِ‍‍ي‍‍مَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍لاَةِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذُ‌رِّيَّتِي ۚ ‌‍رَبَّنَا وَتَ‍‍قَ‍‍بَّلْ ‌دُع‍‍َا‌ء‍ِ‍
Rabbanā Aghfir Lī Wa Liwālidayya Wa Lilmu'uminīna Yawma Yaqūmu Al-Ĥisābu ('ibm: 41). 014.041 "O our Lord! cover (us) with Thy Forgiveness - me, my parents, and (all) Believers, on the Day that the Reckoning will be established! ‍‍‍رَبَّنَا‌ ‌اغْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لِي ‌وَلِوَ‌الِدَيَّ ‌وَلِلْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍وْمَ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ومُ ‌الْحِسَابُ
Wa Lā Taĥsabanna Allāha Ghāfilāan `Ammā Ya`malu Až-Žālimūna ۚ 'Innamā Yu'uakhkhiruhum Liyawmin Tashkhaşu Fīhi Al-'Abşāru ('ibm: 42). 014.042 Think not that God doth not heed the deeds of those who do wrong. He but giveth them respite against a Day when the eyes will fixedly stare in horror,- وَلاَ‌ تَحْسَبَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ غَ‍‍افِلاً‌ عَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَعْمَلُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَا‌ يُؤَ‍‍خِّ‍‍رُهُمْ لِيَ‍‍وْمٍ تَشْ‍‍خَ‍‍صُ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌الأَبْ‍‍‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌رُ
Muhţi`īna Muqni`ī Ru'ūsihim Lā Yartaddu 'Ilayhim Ţarfuhum ۖ Wa 'Af'idatuhum Hawā'un ('ibm: 43). 014.043 They running forward with necks outstretched, their heads uplifted, their gaze returning not towards them, and their hearts a (gaping) void! مُهْ‍‍طِ‍‍ع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍نِعِي ‌رُ‌ء‍ُ‍‌وسِهِمْ لاَ‌ يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَ‍‍رْفُهُمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَفْئِدَتُهُمْ هَو‍َ‌اءٌ
Wa 'Andhiri An-Nāsa Yawma Ya'tīhimu Al-`Adhābu Fayaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Rabbanā 'Akhkhirnā 'Ilá 'Ajalin Qarībin Nujib Da`wataka Wa Nattabi`i Ar-Rusula ۗ 'Awalam Takūnū 'Aqsamtum Min Qablu Mā Lakum Min Zawālin ('ibm: 44). 014.044 So warn mankind of the Day when the Wrath will reach them: then will the wrong-doers say: "Our Lord! respite us (if only) for a short term: we will answer Thy call, and follow the apostles!" "What! were ye not wont to swear aforetime that ye should suffer no decline? وَ‌أَ‌ن‍‍ذِ‌رِ‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسَ يَ‍‍وْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابُ فَيَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ظَ‍‍لَمُوا ‌‍رَبَّنَ‍‍ا أَ‍خِّ‍‍ر‌ْنَ‍‍ا إِلَ‍‍ى أَجَلٍ قَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍بٍ نُجِ‍‍ب‌ْ ‌دَعْوَتَكَ ‌وَنَتَّبِعِ ‌ال‍‍رُّسُلَ ۗ ‌أَ‌وَلَمْ تَكُونُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍سَمْتُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ مَا‌ لَكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌زَ‌وَ‌الٍ
Wa Sakantum Fī Masākini Al-Ladhīna Žalamū 'Anfusahum Wa Tabayyana Lakum Kayfa Fa`alnā Bihim Wa Đarabnā Lakumu Al-'Amthāla ('ibm: 45). 014.045 "And ye dwelt in the dwellings of men who wronged their own souls; ye were clearly shown how We dealt with them; and We put forth (many) parables in your behoof!" وَسَكَ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ فِي مَسَاكِنِ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ظَ‍‍لَمُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسَهُمْ ‌وَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ فَعَلْنَا‌ بِهِمْ ‌وَ‍ضَ‍رَبْ‍‍نَا‌ لَكُمُ ‌الأَمْثَالَ
Wa Qad Makarū Makrahum Wa `Inda Allāhi Makruhum Wa 'In Kāna Makruhum Litazūla Minhu Al-Jibālu ('ibm: 46). 014.046 Mighty indeed were the plots which they made, but their plots were (well) within the sight of God, even though they were such as to shake the hills! وَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ مَكَرُ‌وا مَكْ‍رَهُمْ ‌وَعِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ مَكْرُهُمْ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَز‍ُ‍‌ولَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌الْجِبَالُ
Falā Taĥsabanna Allāha Mukhlifa Wa`dihi Rusulahu ۗ 'Inna Allāha `Azīzun Dhū Antiqāmin ('ibm: 47). 014.047 Never think that God would fail his apostles in His promise: for God is Exalted in power, - the Lord of Retribution. فَلاَ‌ تَحْسَبَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ مُ‍‍‍‍خْ‍‍لِفَ ‌وَعْدِهِ ‌رُسُلَهُ ۗ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ عَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زٌ ‌ذُ‌و‌ ‌ان‍‍تِ‍‍قَ‍‍امٍ
Yawma Tubaddalu Al-'Arđu Ghayra Al-'Arđi Wa As-Samāwātu ۖ Wa Barazū Lillāh Al-Wāĥidi Al-Qahhāri ('ibm: 48). 014.048 One day the earth will be changed to a different earth, and so will be the heavens, and (men) will be marshalled forth, before God, the One, the Irresistible; يَ‍‍وْمَ تُبَدَّلُ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضُ غَ‍‍يْ‍رَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتُ ۖ ‌وَبَ‍رَ‌زُ‌وا لِلَّهِ ‌الْوَ‌احِدِ‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍هَّا‌رِ
Wa Tará Al-Mujrimīna Yawma'idhin Muqarranīna Fī Al-'Aşfādi ('ibm: 49). 014.049 And thou wilt see the sinners that day bound together in fetters;- وَتَ‍‍‍رَ‌ى‌ ‌الْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ مُ‍‍قَ‍رَّن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِي ‌الأَ‍صْ‍‍فَا‌دِ
Sabīluhum Min Qaţirānin Wa Taghshá Wujūhahumu An-Nāru ('ibm: 50). 014.050 Their garments of liquid pitch, and their faces covered with Fire; سَ‍‍‍رَ‌ابِيلُهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍طِ‍رَ‍‌انٍ ‌وَتَ‍‍غْ‍‍شَى وُجُوهَهُمُ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌رُ
Liyajziya Allāhu Kulla Nafsin Mā Kasabat ۚ 'Inna Allāha Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi ('ibm: 51). 014.051 That God may requite each soul according to its deserts; and verily God is swift in calling to account. لِيَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِيَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ مَا‌ كَسَبَتْ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ سَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌الْحِسَابِ
dhā Balāghun Lilnnāsi Wa Liyundharū Bihi Wa Liya`lamū 'Annamā Huwa 'Ilahun Wāĥidun Wa Liyadhdhakkara 'Ūlū Al-'Albābi ('ibm: 52). 014.052 Here is a Message for mankind: Let them take warning therefrom, and let them know that He is (no other than) One God: let men of understanding take heed. هَذَ‌ا‌ بَلاَ‍‍غ‍ ٌ لِل‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ‌وَلِيُ‍‌‍ن‍‍ذَ‌رُ‌وا بِهِ ‌وَلِيَعْلَمُ‍‍وا ‌أَنَّ‍‍مَا‌ هُوَ إِلَهٌ ‌وَ‌احِدٌ ‌وَلِيَذَّكَّ‍رَ أ‍ُ‍‌وْلُوا ‌الأَلْبَابِ
