'Alif-Lām- ۚ Kitābun 'Uĥkimat 'Āyātuhu Thumma Fuşşilat Min Ladun Ĥakīmin Khabīrin 011.001 A. L. R. (This is) a Book, with verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning), further explained in detail,- from One Who is Wise and Well-acquainted (with all things): --‍‌‌ ۚ‍‍ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
'Allā Ta`budū 'Illā Al-Laha ۚ 'Innanī Lakum Minhu Nadhīrun Wa Bashīrun 011.002 (It teacheth) that ye should worship none but God. (Say): "Verily I am (sent) unto you from Him to warn and to bring glad tidings: ‌ ‌‌ ۚ‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌
Wa 'Ani Astaghfirū Rabbakum Thumma Tūbū 'Ilayhi Yumatti`kum Matā`āan Ĥasanāan 'Ilá 'Ajalin Musamman Wa Yu'uti Kulla Dhī Fađlin Fađlahu ۖ Wa 'In Tawallaw Fa'innī 'Akhāfu `Alaykum `Adhāba Yawmin Kabīrin 011.003 "(And to preach thus), 'Seek ye the forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance; that He may grant you enjoyment, good (and true), for a term appointed, and bestow His abounding grace on all who abound in merit! But if ye turn away, then I fear for you the penalty of a great day: ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ۖ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍
'Ilá Allāhi Marji`ukum ۖ Wa Huwa `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun 011.004 'To God is your return, and He hath power over all things.'" ۖ ‌‌ ‌ ‍
'Alā 'Innahum Yathnūna Şudūrahum Liyastakhfū Minhu ۚ 'Alā Ĥīna Yastaghshūna Thiyābahum Ya`lamu Mā Yusirrūna Wa Mā Yu`linūna ۚ 'Innahu `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri 011.005 Behold! they fold up their hearts, that they may lie hid from Him! Ah even when they cover themselves with their garments, He knoweth what they conceal, and what they reveal: for He knoweth well the (inmost secrets) of the hearts. ‌ ‌‍ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ۚ‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌
Wa Mā Min Dābbatin Al-'Arđi 'Illā `Alá Allāhi Rizquhā Wa Ya`lamu Mustaqarrahā Wa Mustawda`ahā ۚ Kullun Fī Kitābin Mubīnin 011.006 There is no moving creature on earth but its sustenance dependeth on God: He knoweth the time and place of its definite abode and its temporary deposit: All is in a clear Record. ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ۚ‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Fī Sittati 'Ayyāmin Wa Kāna `Arshuhu `Alá Al-Mā'i Liyabluwakum 'Ayyukum 'Aĥsanu `Amalāan ۗ Wa La'in Qulta 'Innakum Mabthūna Min Ba`di Al-Mawti Layaqūlanna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'In Hādhā 'Illā Siĥrun Mubīnun 011.007 He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was over the waters - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. But if thou wert to say to them, "Ye shall indeed be raised up after death", the Unbelievers would be sure to say, "This is nothing but obvious sorcery!" ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ۗ ‌‍‌ ‍ ‌‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌
Wa La'in 'Akhkharnā `Anhumu Al-`Adhāba 'Ilá 'Ummatin Ma`dūdatin Layaqūlunna Mā Yaĥbisuhu~ ۗ 'Alā Yawma Ya'tīhim Laysa Maşrūfāan `Anhum Wa Ĥāqa Bihim Mā Kānū Bihi Yastahzi'ūn 011.008 If We delay the penalty for them for a definite term, they are sure to say, "What keeps it back?" Ah! On the day it (actually) reaches them, nothing will turn it away from them, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at! ‍‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍~ ۗ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍
Wa La'in 'Adhaq Al-'Insāna Minnā Raĥmatan Thumma Naza`nāhā Minhu 'Innahu Laya'ūsun Kafūrun 011.009 If We give man a taste of Mercy from Ourselves, and then withdraw it from him, behold! he is in despair and (falls into) blasphemy. ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‌ ‌
Wa La'in 'Adhaqnāhu Na`mā'a Ba`da Đarrā'a Massat/hu Layaqūlanna Dhahaba As-Sayyi'ātu `Annī ۚ 'Innahu Lafariĥun Fakhūrun 011.010 But if We give him a taste of (Our) favours after adversity hath touched him, he is sure to say, "All evil has departed from me:" Behold! he falls into exultation and pride. ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ۚ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
'Illā Al-Ladhīna Şabarū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti 'Ūlā'ika Lahum Maghfiratun Wa 'Ajrun Kabīrun 011.011 Not so do those who show patience and constancy, and work righteousness; for them is forgiveness (of sins) and a great reward. ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‌
Fala`allaka Tārikun Ba`đa Mā Yūĥá 'Ilayka Wa Đā'iqun Bihi Şadruka 'An Yaqūlū Lawlā 'Unzila `Alayhi Kanzun 'Aw Jā'a Ma`ahu Malakun ۚ 'Innamā 'Anta Nadhīrun Wa ۚ Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Wa Kīlun 011.012 Perchance thou mayest (feel the inclination) to give up a part of what is revealed unto thee, and thy heart feeleth straitened lest they say, "Why is not a treasure sent down unto him, or why does not an angel come down with him?" But thou art there only to warn! It is God that arrangeth all affairs! ‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‌‌‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‍ۚ‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍ۚ ‌ ‍‌ ‌
'Am Yaqūlūna Aftarāhu ۖ Qul Fa'tū Bi`ashri Suwarin Mithlihi Muftarayātin Wa Ad`ū Mani Astaţa`tum Min Dūni Allāhi 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna 011.013 Or they may say, "He forged it," Say, "Bring ye then ten suras forged, like unto it, and call (to your aid) whomsoever ye can, other than God!- If ye speak the truth! ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ۖ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌
Fa'illam Yastajībū Lakum Fā`lamū 'Annamā 'Unzila Bi`ilmi Allāhi Wa 'An Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa ۖ Fahal 'Antum Muslimūna 011.014 "If then they (your false gods) answer not your (call), know ye that this revelation is sent down (replete) with the knowledge of God, and that there is no god but He! will ye even then submit (to Islam)?" ‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ۖ ‌‌
Man Kāna Yurīdu Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā Wa Zīnatahā Nuwaffi 'Ilayhim 'A`mālahum Fīhā Wa Hum Fīhā Lā Yubkhasūna 011.015 Those who desire the life of the present and its glitter,- to them we shall pay (the price of) their deeds therein,- without diminution. ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Laysa Lahum Al-'Ākhirati 'Illā An-Nāru ۖ Wa Ĥabiţa Mā Şana`ū Fīhā Wa Bāţilun Mā Kānū Ya`malūna 011.016 They are those for whom there is nothing in the Hereafter but the Fire: vain are the designs they frame therein, and of no effect and the deeds that they do! ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ۖ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌
'Afaman Kāna `Alá Bayyinatin Min Rabbihi Wa Yatlūhu Shāhidun Minhu Wa Min Qablihi Kitābu Mūsá 'Imāmāan Wa Raĥmatan ۚ 'Ūlā'ika Yu'uminūna Bihi ۚ Wa Man Yakfur Bihi Mina Al-'Aĥzābi Fālnnāru Maw`iduhu ۚ Falā Takun Fī Miryatin Minhu ۚ 'Innahu Al-Ĥaqqu Min Rabbika Wa Lakinna 'Akthara An-Nāsi Lā Yu'uminūna 011.017 Can they be (like) those who accept a Clear (Sign) from their Lord, and whom a witness from Himself doth teach, as did the Book of Moses before it,- a guide and a mercy? They believe therein; but those of the Sects that reject it,- the Fire will be their promised meeting-place. Be not then in doubt thereon: for it is the truth from thy Lord: yet many among men do not believe! ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍ ۚ‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ۚ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‍ ‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‌ ‍‌‌ ‍‌‍‍ۚ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Man 'Ažlamu Mimmani Aftará `Alá Allāhi Kadhibāan ۚ 'Ūlā'ika Yu`rađūna `Alá Rabbihim Wa Yaqūlu Al-'Ash/hādu Hā'uulā' Al-Ladhīna Kadhabū `Alá Rabbihim ۚ 'Alā La`natu Allāhi `Alá Až-Žālimīna 011.018 Who doth more wrong than those who invent a lie against God? They will be turned back to the presence of their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord! Behold! the Curse of God is on those who do wrong!- ‍‌ ‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍ ‌ ۚ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‍ ۚ ‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‍
Al-Ladhīna Yaşuddūna `An Sabīli Allāhi Wa Yabghūnahā `Iwajāan Wa Hum Bil-'Ākhirati Hum Kāfirūna 011.019 "Those who would hinder (men) from the path of God and would seek in it something crooked: these were they who denied the Hereafter!" ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍
'Ūlā'ika Lam Yakūnū Mu`jizīna Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Kāna Lahum Min Dūni Allāhi Min 'Awliyā'a ۘ Yuđā`afu Lahumu Al-`Adhābu ۚ Mā Kānū Yastaţī`ūna As-Sam`a Wa Mā Kānū Yubşirūna 011.020 They will in no wise frustrate (His design) on earth, nor have they protectors besides God! Their penalty will be doubled! They lost the power to hear, and they did not see! ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ۘ‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Khasirū 'Anfusahum Wa Đalla `Anhum Mā Kānū Yaftarūna 011.021 They are the ones who have lost their own souls: and the (fancies) they invented have left them in the lurch! ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‌
Lā Jarama 'Annahum Al-'Ākhirati Humu Al-'Akhsarūna 011.022 Without a doubt, these are the very ones who will lose most in the Hereafter! ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌
'Inna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Wa 'Akhbatū 'Ilá Rabbihim 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu Al-Jannati ۖ Hum Fīhā Khālidūna 011.023 But those who believe and work righteousness, and humble themselves before their Lord,- They will be companions of the gardens, to dwell therein for aye! ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍ۖ‍‌
Mathalu Al-Farīqayni Kāl'a`má Wa Al-'Aşammi Wa Al-Başīri Wa As-Samī`i ۚ Hal Yastawiyāni Mathalāan ۚ 'Afalā Tadhakkarūna 011.024 These two kinds (of men) may be compared to the blind and deaf, and those who can see and hear well. Are they equal when compared? Will ye not then take heed? ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ۚ‍‍ۚ ‌‌ ‌
Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Nūĥāan 'Ilá Qawmihi~ 'Innī Lakum Nadhīrun Mubīnun 011.025 We sent Noah to his people (with a mission): "I have come to you with a Clear Warning: ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‍‍‍
'An Lā Ta`budū 'Illā Al-Laha ۖ 'Innī 'Akhāfu `Alaykum `Adhāba Yawmin 'Alīmin 011.026 "That ye serve none but God: Verily I do fear for you the penalty of a grievous day." ‌ ‌‌ ۖ ‌‍ ‍‍‌
Faqāla Al-Mala'u Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Min Qawmihi Mā Narāka 'Illā Bashaan Mithlanā Wa Mā Narāka Attaba`aka 'Illā Al-Ladhīna Hum 'Adhilunā Bādiya Ar-Ra'yi Wa Mā Nará Lakum `Alaynā Min Fađlin Bal Nažunnukumdhibīna 011.027 But the chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "We see (in) thee nothing but a man like ourselves: Nor do we see that any follow thee but the meanest among us, in judgment immature: Nor do we see in you (all) any merit above us: in fact we thing ye are liars!" ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‌‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌
Qāla Yā Qawmi 'Ara'aytum 'In Kuntu `Alá Bayyinatin Min Rabbī Wa 'Ātānī Raĥmatan Min `Indihi Fa`ummiyat `Alaykum 'Anulzimukumūhā Wa 'Antum Lahā Kārihūna 011.028 He said: "O my people! See ye if (it be that) I have a Clear Sign from my Lord, and that He hath sent Mercy unto me from His own presence, but that the Mercy hath been obscured from your sight? shall we compel you to accept it when ye are averse to it? ‌‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‌ ‌‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‌‍ ‌
Wa Yāqawmi Lā 'As'alukum `Alayhi Mālāan 'In ۖ 'Ajriya 'Illā `Alá Allāhi Wa Mā ۚ 'Anā Biţāridi Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Innahum ۚ Mulāqū Rabbihim Wa Lakinnī 'Akum Qawmāan Tajhalūna 011.029 "And O my people! I ask you for no wealth in return: my reward is from none but God: But I will not drive away (in contempt) those who believe: for verily they are to meet their Lord, and ye I see are the ignorant ones! ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‌ ‍ ‌‍ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌ۚ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Yāqawmi Man Yanşurunī Mina Allāhi 'In Ţaradtuhum 'Afalā ۚ Tadhakkarūna 011.030 "And O my people! who would help me against God if I drove them away? Will ye not then take heed? ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ۚ
Wa Lā 'Aqūlu Lakum `InKhazā'inu Allāhi Wa Lā 'A`lamu Al-Ghayba Wa Lā 'Aqūlu 'Innī Malakun Wa Lā 'Aqūlu Lilladhīna Tazdarī 'A`yunukum Lan Yu'utiyahumu Allāhu Khayan ۖ Al-Lahu 'A`lamu Bimā Fī 'Anfusihim ۖ 'Innī 'Idhāan Lamina Až-Žālimīna 011.031 "I tell you not that with me are the treasures of God, nor do I know what is hidden, nor claim I to be an angel. Nor yet do I say, of those whom your eyes do despise that God will not grant them (all) that is good: God knoweth best what is in their souls: I should, if I did, indeed be a wrong-doer." ‌ ‌‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‌ۖ ‌ ‌ ‍ ‌‌ۖ ‌‌‌‍‍
Qālū Yā Nūĥu Qad Jādaltanā Fa'aktharta Jidālanā Fa'tinā Bimā Ta`idunā 'In Kunta Mina Aş-Şādiqīna 011.032 They said: "O Noah! thou hast disputed with us, and (much) hast thou prolonged the dispute with us: now bring upon us what thou threatenest us with, if thou speakest the truth!?" ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌
Qāla 'Innamā Ya'tīkum Bihi Allāhu 'In Shā'a Wa Mā 'Antum Bimu`jizīna 011.033 He said: "Truly, God will bring it on you if He wills,- and then, ye will not be able to frustrate it! ‍‌ ‍ ‌‌‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌
Wa Lā Yanfa`ukum Nuşĥī 'In 'Aradtu 'An 'Anşaĥa Lakum 'In Kāna Allāhu Yurīdu 'An Yughwiyakum ۚ Huwa Rabbukum Wa 'Ilayhi Turja`ūna 011.034 "Of no profit will be my counsel to you, much as I desire to give you (good) counsel, if it be that God willeth to leave you astray: He is your Lord! and to Him will ye return!" ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍ۚ ‌ ‌‍ ‌‌‍‍‍
'Am Yaqūlūna Aftarāhu ۖ Qul 'Ini Aftaraytuhu Fa`alayya 'Ijmī Wa 'Anā Barī'un Mimmā Tujrimūna 011.035 Or do they say, "He has forged it"? Say: "If I had forged it, on me were my sin! and I am free of the sins of which ye are guilty! ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ۖ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍
Wa 'Ūĥiya 'Ilá Nūĥin 'Annahu Lan Yu'umina Min Qawmika 'Illā Man Qad 'Āmana Falā Tabta'is Bimā Kānū Yaf`alūna 011.036 It was revealed to Noah: "None of thy people will believe except those who have believed already! So grieve no longer over their (evil) deeds. ‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌
Wa Aşna`i Al-Fulka Bi'a`yuninā Wa Waĥyinā Wa Lā Tukhāţibnī Fī Al-Ladhīna Žalamū ۚ 'Innahum Mughraqūna 011.037 "But construct an Ark under Our eyes and Our inspiration, and address Me no (further) on behalf of those who are in sin: for they are about to be overwhelmed (in the Flood)." ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ۚ‍ ‍‍‍
Wa Yaşna`u Al-Fulka Wa Kullamā Marra `Alayhi Mala'un Min Qawmihi Sakhirū Minhu ۚ Qāla 'In Taskharū Minnā Fa'innā Naskharu Minkum Kamā Taskharūna 011.038 Forthwith he (starts) constructing the Ark: Every time that the chiefs of his people passed by him, they threw ridicule on him. He said: "If ye ridicule us now, we (in our turn) can look down on you with ridicule likewise! ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌‍‍ۚ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
Fasawfa Ta`lamūna Man Ya'tīhi `Adhābun Yukhzīhi Wa Yaĥillu `Alayhi `Adhābun Muqīmun 011.039 "But soon will ye know who it is on whom will descend a penalty that will cover them with shame,- on whom will be unloosed a penalty lasting:" ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍
Ĥattá 'Idhā Jā'a 'Amrunā Wa Fāra At-Tannūru Qulnā Aĥmil Fīhā Min Kullin Zawjayni Athnayni Wa 'Ahlaka 'Illā Man Sabaqa `Alayhi Al-Qawlu Wa Man 'Āmana ۚ Wa Mā 'Āmana Ma`ahu~ 'Illā Qalīlun 011.040 At length, behold! there came Our command, and the fountains of the earth gushed forth! We said: "Embark therein, of each kind two, male and female, and your family - except those against whom the word has already gone forth,- and the Believers." but only a few believed with him. ‌ ‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‌‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ۚ ‌‍‌ ‌ ~ ‌‌
Wa Qāla Arkabū Fīhā Bismi Allāhi Majhā Wa Mursāhā ۚ 'Inna Rabbī Laghafūrun Raĥīmun 011.041 So he said: "Embark ye on the Ark, In the name of God, whether it move or be at rest! For my Lord is, be sure, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!" ‌ ‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍ۚ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍
Wa Hiya Tajrī Bihim Fī Mawjin Kāljibāli Wa Nādá Nūĥun Abnahu Wa Kāna Fī Ma`zilin Yā Bunayya Arkab Ma`anā Wa Lā Takun Ma`a Al-Kāfirīna 011.042 So the Ark floated with them on the waves (towering) like mountains, and Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest): "O my son! embark with us, and be not with the unbelievers!" ‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌
Qāla Sa'āwī 'Ilá Jabalin Ya`şimunī Mina Al-Mā'i ۚ Qāla Lā `Āşima Al-Yawma Min 'Amri Allāhi 'Illā Man Raĥima ۚ Wa Ĥāla Baynahumā Al-Mawju Fakāna Mina Al-Mughraqīna 011.043 The son replied: "I will betake myself to some mountain: it will save me from the water." Noah said: "This day nothing can save, from the command of God, any but those on whom He hath mercy! "And the waves came between them, and the son was among those overwhelmed in the Flood. ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ۚ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍
Wa Qīla Yā 'Arđu Abla`ī Mā'aki Wa Yā Samā'u 'Aqli`ī Wa Ghīđa Al-Mā'u Wa Quđiya Al-'Amru Wa Astawat `Alá Al-Jūdīyi ۖ Wa Qīla Bu`dāan Lilqawmi Až-Žālimīna 011.044 Then the word went forth: "O earth! swallow up thy water, and O sky! Withhold (thy rain)!" and the water abated, and the matter was ended. The Ark rested on Mount Judi, and the word went forth: "Away with those who do wrong!" ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌‌‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌ۖ‍‍ ‍‍
Wa Nādá Nūĥun Rabbahu Faqāla Rabbi 'Inna Abnī Min 'Ahlī Wa 'Inna Wa`daka Al-Ĥaqqu Wa 'Anta 'Aĥkamu Al-Ĥākimīna 011.045 And Noah called upon his Lord, and said: "O my Lord! surely my son is of my family! and Thy promise is true, and Thou art the justest of Judges!" ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‌‍ ‌
Qāla Yā Nūĥu 'Innahu Laysa Min 'Ahlika ۖ 'Innahu `Amalun Ghayru Şāliĥin ۖ Falā Tas'alni Mā Laysa Laka Bihi `Ilmun ۖ 'Innī 'A`ižuka 'An Takūna Mina Al-Jāhilīna 011.046 He said: "O Noah! He is not of thy family: For his conduct is unrighteous. So ask not of Me that of which thou hast no knowledge! I give thee counsel, lest thou act like the ignorant!" ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ۖ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‌ ‌ ۖ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ۖ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍
Qāla Rabbi 'Innī 'A`ūdhu Bika 'An 'As'alaka Mā Laysa Lī Bihi `Ilmun ۖ Wa 'Illā Taghfir Lī Wa Tarĥamnī 'Akun Mina Al-Khāsirīna 011.047 Noah said: "O my Lord! I do seek refuge with Thee, lest I ask Thee for that of which I have no knowledge. And unless thou forgive me and have Mercy on me, I should indeed be lost!" ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍ ۖ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍
Qīla Yā Nūĥu Ahbiţ Bisalāmin Minnā Wa Barakātin `Alayka Wa `Alá 'Umamin Mimman Ma`aka ۚ Wa 'Umamun Sanumatti`uhum Thumma Yamassuhum Minnā `Adhābun 'Alīmun 011.048 The word came: "O Noah! Come down (from the Ark) with peace from Us, and blessing on thee and on some of the peoples (who will spring) from those with thee: but (there will be other) peoples to whom We shall grant their pleasures (for a time), but in the end will a grievous penalty reach them from Us." ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ ‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‌
Tilka Min 'Anbā'i Al-Ghaybi Nūĥīhā 'Ilayka ۖ Mā Kunta Ta`lamuhā 'Anta Wa Lā Qawmuka Min Qabli Hādhā ۖşbir ۖ 'Inna Al-`Āqibata Lilmuttaqīna 011.049 Such are some of the stories of the unseen, which We have revealed unto thee: before this, neither thou nor thy people knew them. So persevere patiently: for the End is for those who are righteous. ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ۖ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‌ ‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ۖ ‍‍ۖ ‍ ‍‍‍
Wa 'Ilá `Ādin 'Akhāhum Hūdāan ۚ Qāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Allaha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayruhu~ ۖ 'In 'Antum 'Illā Muftarūna 011.050 To the 'Ad People (We sent) Hud, one of their own brethren. He said: "O my people! worship God! ye have no other god but Him. (Your other gods) ye do nothing but invent! ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍ ‌‌‌ۚ ‍ ‌ ‍‌~ ‌‌ ۖ ‌‌‍ ‌‌ ‌
Qawmi Lā 'As'alukum `Alayhi 'Ajan ۖ 'In 'Ajriya 'Illā `Alá Al-Ladhī Faţaranī ۚ 'Afalā Ta`qilūna 011.051 "O my people! I ask of you no reward for this (Message). My reward is from none but Him who created me: Will ye not then understand? ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‌ۖ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Yā Qawmi Astaghfirū Rabbakum Thumma Tūbū 'Ilayhi Yursili As-Samā'a `Alaykum Midan Wa Yazidkum Qūwatan 'Ilá Qūwatikum Wa Lā Tatawallaw Mujrimīna 011.052 "And O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him (in repentance): He will send you the skies pouring abundant rain, and add strength to your strength: so turn ye not back in sin!" ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌‍‌‌‌‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍
Qālū Yā Hūdu Mā Ji'tanā Bibayyinatin Wa Mā Naĥnu Bitārikī 'Ālihatinā `An Qawlika Wa Mā Naĥnu Laka Bimu'uminīna 011.053 They said: "O Hud! No Clear (Sign) that hast thou brought us, and we are not the ones to desert our gods on thy word! Nor shall we believe in thee! ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍ ‌‌
'In Naqūlu 'Illā A`tarāka Ba`đu 'Ālihatinā Bisū'in ۗ Qāla 'Innī 'Ush/hidu Allāha Wa Ash/hadū 'Annī Barī'un Mimmā Tushrikūna 011.054 "We say nothing but that (perhaps) some of our gods may have seized thee with imbecility." He said: "I call God to witness, and do ye bear witness, that I am free from the sin of ascribing, to Him, ‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ۗ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‌‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍
Min Dūnihi ۖ Fakīdūnī Jamī`āan Thumma Lā Tunžirūni 011.055 "Other gods as partners! so scheme (your worst) against me, all of you, and give me no respite. ‍‌ ‌‌‍ ۖ ‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
'Innī Tawakkaltu `Alá Allāhi Rabbī Wa Rabbikum ۚ Mā Min Dābbatin 'Illā Huwa 'Ākhidhun Bināşiyatihā ۚ 'Inna Rabbī `Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin 011.056 "I put my trust in God, My Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving creature, but He hath grasp of its fore-lock. Verily, it is my Lord that is on a straight Path. ‍ ‌ ‍ ‌‍ ‌‌‍ ۚ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ۚ ‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍
Fa'in Tawallaw Faqad 'Ablaghtukum Mā 'Ursiltu Bihi~ 'Ilaykum ۚ Wa Yastakhlifu Rabbī Qawmāan Ghayrakum Wa Lā Tađurrūnahu Shay'āan ۚ 'Inna Rabbī `Alá Kulli Shay'in Ĥafīžun 011.057 "If ye turn away,- I (at least) have conveyed the Message with which I was sent to you. My Lord will make another people to succeed you, and you will not harm Him in the least. For my Lord hath care and watch over all things." ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌ ۚ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‍‌ ‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ۚ ‌‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‍
Wa Lammā Jā'a 'Amrunā Najjaynā Hūdāan Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Ma`ahu Biraĥmatin Minnā Wa Najjaynāhum Min `Adhābin Ghalīžin 011.058 So when Our decree issued, We saved Hud and those who believed with him, by (special) Grace from Ourselves: We saved them from a severe penalty. ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‍
Wa Tilka `Ādun ۖ Jaĥadū Bi'āyāti Rabbihim Wa `Aşaw Rusulahu Wa Attaba`ū 'Amra Kulli Jabbārin `Anīdin 011.059 Such were the 'Ad People: they rejected the Signs of their Lord and Cherisher; disobeyed His apostles; And followed the command of every powerful, obstinate transgressor. ‍‍‌‌ۖ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‌‌
Wa 'Utbi`ū Fī Hadhihi Ad-Dunyā La`natan Wa Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۗ 'Alā 'Inna `Ādāan Kafarū Rabbahum ۗ 'Alā Bu`dāan Li`ādin Qawmi Hūdin 011.060 And they were pursued by a Curse in this life,- and on the Day of Judgment. Ah! Behold! for the 'Ad rejected their Lord and Cherisher! Ah! Behold! removed (from sight) were 'Ad the people of Hud! ‍‌‍‌ ‌ ‌‍ ‍‍ۗ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۗ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌
Wa 'Ilá Thamūda 'Akhāhum Şāliĥāan ۚ Qāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Allaha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayruhu ۖ Huwa 'Ansha'akum Mina Al-'Arđi Wa Asta`marakum Fīhā Fāstaghfirūhu Thumma Tūbū 'Ilayhi ۚ 'Inna Rabbī Qarībun Mujībun 011.061 To the Thamud People (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren. He said: "O my people! Worship God: ye have no other god but Him. It is He Who hath produced you from the earth and settled you therein: then ask forgiveness of Him, and turn to Him (in repentance): for my Lord is (always) near, ready to answer." ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‌ۚ ‍ ‌ ‍‌ ۖ ‌ ‌‌‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍ۚ ‌‍ ‍‍‍
Qālū Yā Şāliĥu Qad Kunta Fīnā Marjūwāan Qabla Hādhā ۖ 'Atanhānā 'An Na`buda Mā Ya`budu 'Ābā'uunā Wa 'Innanā Lafī Shakkin Mimmā Tad`ūnā 'Ilayhi Murībin 011.062 They said: "O Salih! thou hast been of us! a centre of our hopes hitherto! dost thou (now) forbid us the worship of what our fathers worshipped? But we are really in suspicious (disquieting) doubt as to that to which thou invitest us." ‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌‍‍ۖ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍
Qāla Yā Qawmi 'Ara'aytum 'In Kuntu `Alá Bayyinatin Min Rabbī Wa 'Ātānī Minhu Raĥmatan Faman Yanşurunī Mina Allāhi 'In `Aşaytuhu ۖ Famā Tazīdūnanī Ghayra Takhsīrin 011.063 He said: "O my people! do ye see? if I have a Clear (Sign) from my Lord and He hath sent Mercy unto me from Himself,- who then can help me against God if I were to disobey Him? What then would ye add to my (portion) but perdition? ‌‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍ ۖ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Yā Qawmi Hadhihiqatu Allāhi Lakum 'Āyatan Fadharūhā Ta'kul Fī 'Arđi Allāhi Wa Lā Tamassūhā Bisū'in Faya'khudhakum `Adhābun Qarībun 011.064 "And O my people! This she-camel of God is a symbol to you: leave her to feed on God's (free) earth, and inflict no harm on her, or a swift penalty will seize you!" ‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‍ ‌‌‍ ‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‌
Fa`aqarūhā Faqāla Tamatta`ū Fī Dārikum Thalāthata 'Ayyāmin ۖ Dhālika Wa`dun Ghayru Makdhūbin 011.065 But they did ham-string her. So he said: "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days: (Then will be your ruin): (Behold) there a promise not to be belied!" ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍ۖ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌
Falammā Jā'a 'Amrunā Najjaynā Şāliĥāan Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Ma`ahu Biraĥmatin Minnā Wa Min Khizyi Yawmi'idhin ۗ 'Inna Rabbaka Huwa Al-Qawīyu Al-`Azīzu 011.066 When Our Decree issued, We saved Salih and those who believed with him, by (special) Grace from Ourselves - and from the Ignominy of that day. For thy Lord - He is the Strong One, and able to enforce His Will. ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍ ‌ۗ ‌‍‍‍
Wa 'Akhadha Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Aş-Şayĥatu Fa'aşbaĥū Fī Diyārihimthimīna 011.067 The (mighty) Blast overtook the wrong-doers, and they lay prostrate in their homes before the morning,- ‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌
Ka'an Lam Yaghnaw Fīhā ۗ 'Alā 'Inna Thamūda Kafarū Rabbahum ۗ 'Alā Bu`dāan Lithamūda 011.068 As if they had never dwelt and flourished there. Ah! Behold! for the Thamud rejected their Lord and Cherisher! Ah! Behold! removed (from sight) were the Thamud! ‍‍‍‌‌ ‍ۗ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۗ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌
Wa Laqad Jā'at Rusulunā 'Ibhīma Bil-BushQālū Salāmāan ۖ Qāla Salāmun ۖ Famā Labitha 'An Jā'a Bi`ijlin Ĥanīdhin 011.069 There came Our messengers to Abraham with glad tidings. They said, "Peace!" He answered, "Peace!" and hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf. ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‌ ‌ ‌ۖ ۖ ‌ ‌‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍
Falammā Ra'á 'Aydiyahum Lā Taşilu 'Ilayhi Nakirahum Wa 'Awjasa Minhum Khīfatan ۚ Qālū Lā Takhaf 'Innā 'Ursilnā 'Ilá Qawmi Lūţin 011.070 But when he saw their hands went not towards the (meal), he felt some mistrust of them, and conceived a fear of them. They said: "Fear not: We have been sent against the people of Lut." ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ۚ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‌ ‌‌
Wa Amra'atuhu Qā'imatun Fađaĥikat Fabashsharnāhā Bi'isĥāqa Wa Min Warā'i 'Isĥāqa Ya`qūba 011.071 And his wife was standing (there), and she laughed: But we gave her glad tidings of Isaac, and after him, of Jacob. ‌‍‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍
Qālat Yā Waylatā 'A'alidu Wa 'Anā `Ajūzun Wa Hadhā Ba`lī Shaykhāan ۖ 'Inna Hādhā Lashay'un `Ajībun 011.072 She said: "Alas for me! shall I bear a child, seeing I am an old woman, and my husband here is an old man? That would indeed be a wonderful thing!" ‍ ‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ۖ ‌‌ ‍
Qālū 'Ata`jabīna Min 'Amri Allāhi ۖ Raĥmatu Allāhi Wa Barakātuhu `Alaykum 'Ahla Al-Bayti ۚ 'Innahu Ĥamīdun Majīdun 011.073 They said: "Dost thou wonder at God's decree? The grace of God and His blessings on you, o ye people of the house! for He is indeed worthy of all praise, full of all glory!" ‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ۖ ‌‍ ‍ ‌‍‍‍ۚ‍‍‍
Falammā Dhahaba `An 'Ibhīma Ar-Raw`u Wa Jā'at/hu Al-Bushrá Yujādilunā Fī Qawmi Lūţin 011.074 When fear had passed from (the mind of) Abraham and the glad tidings had reached him, he began to plead with us for Lut's people. ‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌
'Inna 'Ibhīma Laĥalīmun 'Awwāhun Munībun 011.075 For Abraham was, without doubt, forbearing (of faults), compassionate, and given to look to God. ‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‌
Yā 'Ibhīmu 'A`riđ `An Hādhā ۖ 'Innahu Qad Jā'a 'Amru Rabbika ۖ Wa 'Innahum 'Ātīhim `Adhābun Ghayru Mardūdin 011.076 O Abraham! Seek not this. The decree of thy Lord hath gone forth: for them there cometh a penalty that cannot be turned back! ‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‍‌ ۖ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۖ ‌‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌
Wa Lammā Jā'at Rusulunā Lūţāan Sī'a Bihim Wa Đāqa Bihim Dhar`āan Wa Qāla Hādhā Yawmun `Aşībun 011.077 When Our messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account and felt himself powerless (to protect) them. He said: "This is a distressful day." ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Jā'ahu Qawmuhu Yuhra`ūna 'Ilayhi Wa Min Qablu Kānū Ya`malūna As-Sayyi'āti ۚ Qāla Yā Qawmi Hā'uulā' Banātī Hunna 'Aţharu Lakum Fa ۖ Attaqū Allaha Wa Lā Tukhzūnī Fī Đayfī ۖ 'Alaysa Minkum Rajulun Rashīdun 011.078 And his people came rushing towards him, and they had been long in the habit of practising abominations. He said: "O my people! Here are my daughters: they are purer for you (if ye marry)! Now fear God, and cover me not with shame about my guests! Qālū Laqad `Alimta Mā Lanā Fī Banātika Min Ĥaqqin Wa 'Innaka Lata`lamu Mā Nurīdu 011.079 They said: "Well dost thou know we have no need of thy daughters: indeed thou knowest quite well what we want!" ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‌‌ ‌‌‍ ‌ ‍
Qāla Law 'Anna Lī Bikum Qūwatan 'Aw 'Āwī 'Ilá Ruknin Shadīdin 011.080 He said: "Would that I had power to suppress you or that I could betake myself to some powerful support." ‌ ‌ ‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌
Qālū Yā Lūţu 'Innā Rusulu Rabbika Lan Yaşilū 'Ilayka ۖ Fa'asri Bi'ahlika Biqiţ`in Mina Al-Layli Wa Lā Yaltafit Minkum 'Aĥadun 'Illā Amra'ataka ۖ 'Innahu Muşībuhā Mā 'Aşābahum ۚ 'Inna Maw`idahumu Aş-Şubĥu ۚ 'Alaysa Aş-Şubĥu Biqarībin 011.081 (The Messengers) said: "O Lut! We are Messengers from thy Lord! By no means shall they reach thee! now travel with thy family while yet a part of the night remains, and let not any of you look back: but thy wife (will remain behind): To her will happen what happens to the people. Morning is their time appointed: Is not the morning nigh?" ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ۖ‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ۖ‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ۚ ‍‍‍‍ۚ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍
Falammā Jā'a 'Amrunā Ja`alnā `Āliyahā Sāfilahā Wa 'Amţarnā `Alayhā Ĥijāratan Min Sijjīlin Manđūdin 011.082 When Our Decree issued, We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay, spread, layer on layer,- ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Musawwamatan `Inda Rabbika ۖ Wa Mā Hiya Mina Až-Žālimīna Biba`īdin 011.083 Marked as from thy Lord: Nor are they ever far from those who do wrong! ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Wa 'Ilá Madyana 'Akhāhum Shu`aybāan ۚ Qāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Allaha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin Ghayruhu ۖ Wa Lā Tanquşū Al-Mikyā La Wa ۚ Al-Mīzāna 'Innī 'Akum Bikhayrin Wa 'Innī 'Akhāfu `Alaykum `Adhāba Yawmin Muĥīţin 011.084 To the Madyan People (We sent) Shu'aib, one of their own brethren: he said: "O my people! worship God: Ye have no other god but Him. And give not short measure or weight: I see you in prosperity, but I fear for you the penalty of a day that will compass (you) all round. ‌‌ ‍ ‌‍‍ ‌ۚ ‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ۖ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ ‌‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ‍‍‌‌ ‍
Wa Yā Qawmi 'Awfū Al-Mikyāla Wa Al-Mīzāna Bil-Qisţi ۖ Wa Lā Tabkhasū An-Nāsa 'Ashyā'ahum Wa Lā Ta`thaw Fī Al-'Arđi Mufsidīna 011.085 "And O my people! give just measure and weight, nor withhold from the people the things that are their due: commit not evil in the land with intent to do mischief. ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍
Baqīyatu Allāhi Khayrun Lakum 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna ۚ Wa Mā 'Anā `Alaykum Biĥafīžin 011.086 "That which is left you by God is best for you, if ye (but) believed! but I am not set over you to keep watch!" ‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ۚ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‍
Qālū Yā Shu`aybu 'Aşalātuka Ta'muruka 'An Natruka Mā Ya`budu 'Ābā'uunā 'Aw 'An Naf`ala Fī 'Amwālinā Mā Nashā'u ۖ 'Innaka La'anta Al-Ĥalīmu Ar-Rashīdu 011.087 They said: "O Shu'aib! Does thy (religion of) prayer command thee that we leave off the worship which our fathers practised, or that we leave off doing what we like with our property? truly, thou art the one that forbeareth with faults and is right-minded!" ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‌‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ۖ‍ ‌‍‍‍
Qāla Yā Qawmi 'Ara'aytum 'In Kuntu `Alá Bayyinatin Min Rabbī Wa Razaqanī Minhu Rizqāan Ĥasanāan ۚ Wa Mā 'Urīdu 'An 'Ukhālifakum 'Ilá Mā 'Anhākum `Anhu ۚ 'In 'Urīdu 'Illā Al-'Işlāĥa Mā Astaţa`tu ۚ Wa Mā Tawfīqī 'Illā Billāhi ۚ `Alayhi Tawakkaltu Wa 'Ilayhi 'Unību 011.088 He said: "O my people! see ye whether I have a Clear (Sign) from my Lord, and He hath given me sustenance (pure and) good as from Himself? I wish not, in opposition to you, to do that which I forbid you to do. I only desire (your) betterment to the best of my power; and my success (in my task) can only come from God. In Him I trust, and unto Him I look. ‌‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‌‍‌‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌ ۚ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‌‍‍ۚ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‍ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍ۚ‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍ ‌
Wa Yā Qawmi Lā Yajrimannakum Shiqāqī 'An Yuşībakum Mithlu Mā 'Aşāba Qawma Nūĥin 'Aw Qawma Hūdin 'Aw Qawma Şāliĥin ۚ Wa Mā Qawmu Lūţin Minkum Biba`īdin 011.089 "And O my people! let not my dissent (from you) cause you to sin, lest ye suffer a fate similar to that of the people of Noah or of Hud or of Salih, nor are the people of Lut far off from you! ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‌‌ ‌‌‌ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍
Wa Astaghfirū Rabbakum Thumma Tūbū 'Ilayhi ۚ 'Inna Rabbī Raĥīmun Wadūdun 011.090 "But ask forgiveness of your Lord, and turn unto Him (in repentance): For my Lord is indeed full of mercy and loving-kindness." ‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ۚ ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌‌
Qālū Yā Shu`aybu Mā Nafqahu Kathīrāan Mimmā Taqūlu Wa 'Innā Lanarāka Fīnā Đa`īfāan ۖ Wa Lawlā Rahţuka Larajamnāka ۖ Wa Mā 'Anta `Alaynā Bi`azīzin 011.091 They said: "O Shu'aib! much of what thou sayest we do not understand! In fact among us we see that thou hast no strength! Were it not for thy family, we should certainly have stoned thee! for thou hast among us no great position!" ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‌ ‍‍‌ۖ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ۖ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌
Qāla Yā Qawmi 'Arahţī 'A`azzu `Alaykum Mina Allāhi Wa Attakhadhtumūhu Warā'akum Žihrīyāan ۖ 'Inna Rabbī Bimā Ta`malūna Muĥīţun 011.092 He said: "O my people! is then my family of more consideration with you than God? For ye cast Him away behind your backs (with contempt). But verily my Lord encompasseth on all sides all that ye do! ‌‌‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‌‍‍ۖ ‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Yā Qawmi A`malū `Alá Makānatikum 'Innī `Āmilun ۖ Sawfa Ta`lamūna Man Ya'tīhi `Adhābun Yukhzīhi Wa Man Huwa Kādhibun ۖ Wa Artaqibū 'Innī Ma`akum Raqībun 011.093 "And O my people! Do whatever ye can: I will do (my part): Soon will ye know who it is on whom descends the penalty of ignominy; and who is a liar! and watch ye! for I too am watching with you!" ‌ ‌ ‌‍ ‌ۖ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌ۖ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍
Wa Lammā Jā'a 'Amrunā Najjaynā Shu`aybāan Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Ma`ahu Biraĥmatin Minnā Wa 'Akhadhati Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Aş-Şayĥatu Fa'aşbaĥū Fī Diyārihimthimīna 011.094 When Our decree issued, We saved Shu'aib and those who believed with him, by (special) mercy from Ourselves: But the (mighty) blast did seize the wrong-doers, and they lay prostrate in their homes by the morning,- ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌
Ka'an Lam Yaghnaw Fīhā ۗ 'Alā Bu`dāan Limadyana Kamā Ba`idat Thamūdu 011.095 As if they had never dwelt and flourished there! Ah! Behold! How the Madyan were removed (from sight) as were removed the Thamud! ‍‍‍‌‌ ‍ۗ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‌
Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Mūsá Bi'āyātinā Wa Sulţānin Mubīnin 011.096 And we sent Moses, with Our Clear (Signs) and an authority manifest, ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍
'Ilá Fir`awna Wa Mala'ihi Fa Attaba`ū 'Amra Fir`awna ۖ Wa Mā 'Amru Fir`awna Birashīdin 011.097 Unto Pharaoh and his chiefs: but they followed the command of Pharaoh and the command of Pharaoh was no right (guide). ‌ ‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍ ۖ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‍
Yaqdumu Qawmahu Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Fa'awradahumu An-Nāra ۖ Wa Bi'sa Al-Wirdu Al-Mawrūdu 011.098 He will go before his people on the Day of Judgment, and lead them into the Fire (as cattle are led to water): But woeful indeed will be the place to which they are led! ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍ۖ‍‍‌‌ ‌‌‌
Wa 'Utbi`ū Fī Hadhihi La`natan Wa Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۚ Bi'sa Ar-Rifdu Al-Marfūdu 011.099 And they are followed by a curse in this (life) and on the Day of Judgment: and woeful is the gift which shall be given (unto them)! ‌ ‌‍ ‍‍ۚ ‍‌
Dhālika Min 'Anbā'i Al-Qurá Naquşşuhu `Alayka ۖ Minhā Qā'imun Wa Ĥaşīdun 011.100 These are some of the stories of communities which We relate unto thee: of them some are standing, and some have been mown down (by the sickle of time). ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ۖ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍
Wa Mā Žalamnāhum Wa Lakin Žalamū 'Anfusahum ۖ Famā 'Aghnat `Anhum 'Ālihatuhumu Allatī Yad`ūna Min Dūni Allāhi Min Shay'in Lammā Jā'a 'Amru Rabbika ۖ Wa Mā Zādūhum Ghayra Tatbībin 011.101 It was not We that wronged them: They wronged their own souls: the deities, other than God, whom they invoked, profited them no whit when there issued the decree of thy Lord: Nor did they add aught (to their lot) but perdition! ‍ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‌ۖ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۖ ‌‌ ‌‌‌‌ ‍‍
Wa Kadhalika 'Akhdhu Rabbika 'Idhā 'Akhadha Al-Qurá Wa Hiya Žālimatun ۚ 'Inna 'Akhdhahu~ 'Alīmun Shadīdun 011.102 Such is the chastisement of thy Lord when He chastises communities in the midst of their wrong: grievous, indeed, and severe is His chastisement. ‌‍‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍‌ۚ ‌‍~ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌
'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan Liman Khāfa `Adhāba Al-'Ākhirati ۚ Dhālika Yawmun Majmū`un Lahu An-Nāsu Wa Dhalika Yawmun Mash/hūdun 011.103 In that is a Sign for those who fear the penalty of the Hereafter: that is a Day for which mankind will be gathered together: that will be a Day of Testimony. ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‍ ۚ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌
Wa Mā Nu'uakhkhiruhu~ 'Illā Li'jalin Ma`dūdin 011.104 Nor shall We delay it but for a term appointed. ‌ ‍‍‍~ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌
Yawma Ya'ti Lā Takallamu Nafsun 'Illā Bi'idhnihi ۚ Faminhum Shaqīyun Wa Sa`īdun 011.105 The day it arrives, no soul shall speak except by His leave: of those (gathered) some will be wretched and some will be blessed. ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۚ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌
Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna Shaqū Fafī An-Nāri Lahum Fīhā Zafīrun Wa Shahīqun 011.106 Those who are wretched shall be in the Fire: There will be for them therein (nothing but) the heaving of sighs and sobs: ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍
Khālidīna Fīhā Mā Dāmati As-Samāwātu Wa Al-'Arđu 'Illā Mā Shā'a Rabbuka ۚ 'Inna Rabbaka Fa``ālun Limā Yurīdu 011.107 They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: for thy Lord is the (sure) accomplisher of what He planneth. ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍ ۚ ‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍
Wa 'Ammā Al-Ladhīna Su`idū Fafī Al-Jannati Khālidīna Fīhā Mā Dāmati As-Samāwātu Wa Al-'Arđu 'Illā Mā Shā'a Rabbuka ۖ `Aţā'an Ghayra Majdhūdhin 011.108 And those who are blessed shall be in the Garden: They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: a gift without break. ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍ ۖ‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌
Falā Taku Fī Miryatin Mimmā Ya`budu Hā'uulā' ۚ Mā Ya`budūna 'Illā Kamā Ya`budu 'Ābā'uuhum Min Qablu ۚ Wa 'Innā Lamuwaffūhum Naşībahum Ghayra Manqūşin 011.109 Be not then in doubt as to what these men worship. They worship nothing but what their fathers worshipped before (them): but verily We shall pay them back (in full) their portion without (the least) abatement. ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌‌ ۚ‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‍‍ۚ ‌‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍
Wa Laqad 'Ātaynā Mūsá Al-Kitāba Fākhtulifa Fīhi ۚ Wa Lawlā Kalimatun Sabaqat Min Rabbika Laquđiya Baynahum ۚ Wa 'Innahum Lafī Shakkin Minhu Murībin 011.110 We certainly gave the Book to Moses, but differences arose therein: had it not been that a word had gone forth before from thy Lord, the matter would have been decided between them, but they are in suspicious doubt concerning it. ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‍ۚ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ۚ ‌‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍
Wa 'Inna Kullā Lammā Layuwaffiyannahum Rabbuka 'A`mālahum ۚ 'Innahu Bimā Ya`malūna Khabīrun 011.111 And, of a surety, to all will your Lord pay back (in full the recompense) of their deeds: for He knoweth well all that they do. ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍ۚ ‌ ‍‍‍
Fāstaqim Kamā 'Umirta Wa Man Tāba Ma`aka Wa Lā Taţghaw ۚ 'Innahu Bimā Ta`malūna Başīrun 011.112 Therefore stand firm (in the straight Path) as thou art commanded,- thou and those who with thee turn (unto God); and transgress not (from the Path): for He seeth well all that ye do. ‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‌‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Lā Tarkanū 'Ilá Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Fatamassakumu An-Nāru Wa Mā Lakum Min Dūni Allāhi Min 'Awliyā'a Thumma Lā Tunşarūna 011.113 And incline not to those who do wrong, or the Fire will seize you; and ye have no protectors other than God, nor shall ye be helped. ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌
Wa 'Aqimi Aş-Şalāata Ţarafayi An-Nahāri Wa Zulafāan Mina Al-Layli ۚ 'Inna Al-Ĥasanāti Yudh/hibna As-Sayyi'āti ۚ Dhālika Dhikrá Lildhdhākirīna 011.114 And establish regular prayers at the two ends of the day and at the approaches of the night: For those things, that are good remove those that are evil: Be that the word of remembrance to those who remember (their Lord): ‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍ۚ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ۚ ‌ ‌‍‌‌ ‌‍
Wa Aşbir Fa'inna Allāha Lā Yuđī`u 'Ajra Al-Muĥsinīna 011.115 And be steadfast in patience; for verily God will not suffer the reward of the righteous to perish. ‍‍ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍
Falawlā Kāna Mina Al-Qurūni Min Qablikum 'Ūlū Baqīyatin Yanhawna `Ani Al-Fasādi Fī Al-'Arđi 'Illā Qalīlāan Mimman 'Anjaynā Minhum ۗ Wa Attaba`a Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Mā 'Utrifū Fīhi Wa Kānū Mujrimīna 011.116 Why were there not, among the generations before you, persons possessed of balanced good sense, prohibiting (men) from mischief in the earth - except a few among them whom We saved (from harm)? But the wrong-doers pursued the enjoyment of the good things of life which were given them, and persisted in sin. ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌‌ ‌‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‌ ‍‌‍‍ۗ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Mā Kāna Rabbuka Liyuhlika Al-Qurá Bižulmin Wa 'Ahluhā Muşliĥūna 011.117 Nor would thy Lord be the One to destroy communities for a single wrong-doing, if its members were likely to mend. ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Law Shā'a Rabbuka Laja`ala An-Nāsa 'Ummatan Wāĥidatan ۖ Wa Lā Yazālūna Mukhtalifīna 011.118 If thy Lord had so willed, He could have made mankind one people: but they will not cease to dispute. ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍
'Illā Man Raĥima Rabbuka ۚ Wa Lidhalika Khalaqahum ۗ Wa Tammat Kalimatu Rabbika La'amla'anna Jahannama Mina Al-Jinnati Wa An-Nāsi 'Ajma`īna 011.119 Except those on whom thy Lord hath bestowed His Mercy: and for this did He create them: and the Word of thy Lord shall be fulfilled: "I will fill Hell with jinns and men all together." ‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍ ۚ‍‍‍‍ۗ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍
Wa Kullāan Naquşşu `Alayka Min 'Anbā'i Ar-Rusuli Mā Nuthabbitu Bihi Fu'uādaka ۚ Wa Jā'aka Fī Hadhihi Al-Ĥaqqu Wa Maw`ižatun Wa Dhikrá Lilmu'uminīna 011.120 All that we relate to thee of the stories of the apostles,- with it We make firm thy heart: in them there cometh to thee the Truth, as well as an exhortation and a message of remembrance to those who believe. ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‍ ‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‌‌
Wa Qul Lilladhīna Lā Yu'uminūna A`malū `Alá Makānatikum 'Innā `Āmilūna 011.121 Say to those who do not believe: "Do what ever ye can: We shall do our part; ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‌‍‌
Wa Antažirū 'Innā Muntažirūna 011.122 "And wait ye! We too shall wait." ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Wa Lillāh Ghaybu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa 'Ilayhi Yurja`u Al-'Amru Kulluhu Fā`bud/hu Wa Tawakkal `Alayhi ۚ Wa Mā Rabbuka Bighāfilin `Ammā Ta`malūna 011.123 To God do belong the unseen (secrets) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him goeth back every affair (for decision): then worship Him, and put thy trust in Him: and thy Lord is not unmindful of aught that ye do. ‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍ۚ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌
