'Alif-Lām-Mīm 003-001. Alif Lam Mim. --
Al-Lahu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-Ĥayyu Al-Qayyūmu 003-002. Allah, (there is) no god but He, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by Whom all things subsist ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍
Nazzala `Alayka Al-Kitāba Bil-Ĥaqqi Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Wa 'Anzala At-Tawata Wa Al-'Injīla 003-003. He has revealed to you the Book with truth, verifying that which is before it, and He revealed the Tavrat and the Injeel aforetime, a guidance for the people, and He sent the Furqan. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌‍‌‍‌
Min Qablu Hudan Lilnnāsi Wa 'Anzala Al-Furqāna ۗ 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bi'āyāti Allāhi Lahum `Adhābun Shadīdun Wa ۗ Allāhu `Azīzun Dhū Antiqāmin 003-004. Surely they who disbelieve in the communications of Allah they shall have a severe chastisement; and Allah is Mighty, the Lord of retribution. ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ۗ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‌‍‍‍ۗ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍
'Inna Allāha Lā Yakhfá `Alayhi Shay'un Al-'Arđi Wa Lā Fī As-Samā'i 003-005. Allah-- surely nothing is hidden from Him in the earth or in the heaven. ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍
Huwa Al-Ladhī Yuşawwirukum Al-'Arĥāmi Kayfa Yashā'u ۚ Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu 003-006. He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He likes; there is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Anzala `Alayka Al-Kitāba Minhu 'Āyātun Muĥkamātun Hunna 'Ummu Al-Kitābi Wa 'Ukharu Mutashābihātun ۖ Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna Fī Qulūbihim Zayghun Fayattabi`ūna Mā Tashābaha Minhu Abtighā'a Al-Fitnati Wa Abtighā'a Ta'wīlihi ۗ Wa Mā Ya`lamu Ta'wīlahu~ 'Illā Al-Lahu Wa ۗ Ar-sikhūna Fī Al-`Ilmi Yaqūlūna 'Āmannā Bihi Kullun Min `Indi Rabbinā ۗ Wa Mā Yadhdhakkaru 'Illā 'Ūlū Al-'Albābi 003-007. He it is Who has revealed the Book to you; some of its verses are decisive, they are the basis of the Book, and others are allegorical; then as for those in whose hearts there is perversity they follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation. but none knows its interpretation except Allah, and those who are firmly rooted in knowledge say: We believe in it, it is all from our Lord; and none do mind except those having understanding. ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ۖ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍ ۗ ‌‌ ‌~ ‌‌ ۗ‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ۗ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍
Rabbanā Lā Tuzigh Qulūbanā Ba`da 'Idh Hadaytanā Wa Hab Lanā Min Ladunka Raĥmatan ۚ 'Innaka 'Anta Al-Wahhābu 003-008. Our Lord! make not our hearts to deviate after Thou hast guided us aright, and grant us from Thee mercy; surely Thou art the most liberal Giver. ‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‍ ‌ ‍‌‍ ‌‍ ۚ‍ ‌‌
Rabbanā 'Innaka Jāmi`u An-Nāsi LiyawminRayba Fīhi ۚ 'Inna Allāha Lā Yukhlifu Al-Mī`āda 003-009. Our Lord! surely Thou art the Gatherer of men on a day about which there is no doubt; surely Allah will not fail (His) promise. ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ۚ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lan Tughniya `Anhum 'Amwāluhum Wa Lā 'Awlāduhum Mina Allāhi Shay'āan ۖ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Hum Wa Qūdu An-Nāri 003-010. (As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least against Allah, and these it is who are the fuel of the fire. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‍ ‍‍‍ۖ ‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‌ ‍‍
Kada'bi 'Āli Fir`awna Wa Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim ۚ Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Fa'akhadhahumu Allāhu Bidhunūbihim Wa ۗ Allāhu Shadīdu Al-`Iqābi 003-011. Like the striving of the people of Firon and those before them; they rejected Our communications, so Allah destroyed them on account of their faults; and Allah is severe in requiting (evil). ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‍ۚ ‌ ‌ ‍ۗ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍
Qul Lilladhīna Kafarū Satughlabūna Wa Tuĥsharūna 'Ilá Jahannama ۚ Wa Bi'sa Al-Mihādu 003-012. Say to those who disbelieve: You shall be vanquished, and driven together to hell; and evil is the resting-place. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ۚ
Qad Kāna Lakum 'Āyatun Fī Fi'atayni At-Taqatā ۖ Fi'atun Tuqātilu Fī Sabīli Allāhi Wa 'Ukhrá Kāfiratun Yarawnahum Mithlayhim Ra'ya Al-`Ayni Wa ۚ Allāhu Yu'uayyidu Binaşrihi Man Yashā'u ۗ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La`ibratan Li'wlī Al-'Abşāri 003-013. Indeed there was a sign for you in the two hosts (which) met together in encounter; one party fighting in the way of Allah and the other unbelieving, whom they saw twice as.many as themselves with the sight of the eye and Allah strengthens with His aid whom He pleases; most surely there is a lesson in this for those who have sight. ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۖ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ۚ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ۗ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍‍‍
Zuyyina Lilnnāsi Ĥubbu Ash-Shahawāti Mina An-Nisā' Wa Al-Banīna Wa Al-Qanāţīri Al-Muqanţarati Mina Adh-Dhahabi Wa Al-Fiđđati Wa Al-Khayli Al-Musawwamati Wa Al-'An`āmi Wa Al-Ĥarthi ۗ Dhālika Matā`u Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa ۖ Allāhu `Indahu Ĥusnu Al-Ma'ābi 003-014. The love of desires, of women and sons and hoarded treasures of gold and silver and well bred horses and cattle and tilth, is made to seem fair to men; this is the provision of the life of this world; and Allah is He with Whom is the good goal (of life). ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ۗ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‌ ۖ ‍‌‍‍
Qul 'A'uunabbi'ukum Bikhayrin Min Dhālikum ۚ Lilladhīna Attaqaw `Inda Rabbihim Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Wa 'Azwājun Muţahharatun Wa Riđwānun Mina Allāhi Wa ۗ Allāhu Başīrun Bil-`Ibādi 003-015. Say:Shall}I tell you what is better than these? For those who guard (against evil) are gardens with their Lord, beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and pure mates and Allah's pleasure; and Allah sees the servants. ‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ۚ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ۗ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍
Al-Ladhīna Yaqūlūna Rabbanā 'Innanā 'Āmannā Fāghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā Wa Qinā `Adhāba An-Nāri 003-016. Those who say: Our Lord! surely we believe, therefore forgive us our faults and save us from the chastisement of the fire. ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‍
Aş-Şābirīna Wa Aş-Şādiqīna Wa Al-Qānitīna Wa Al-Munfiqīna Wa Al-Mustaghfirīna Bil-'Asĥāri 003-017. The patient, and the truthful, and the obedient, and those who spend (benevolently) and those who ask forgiveness in the morning times. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍
Shahida Allāhu 'Annahu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Wa Al-Malā'ikatu Wa 'Ūlū Al-`Ilmi Qā'imāan Bil-Qisţi ۚ Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu 003-018. Allah bears witness that there is no god but He, and (so do) the angels and those possessed of knowledge, maintaining His creation with justice; there is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise. ‍ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ۚ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
'Inna Ad-Dīna `Inda Allāhi Al-'Islāmu ۗ Wa Mā Akhtalafa Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba 'Illā Min Ba`di Mā Jā'ahumu Al-`Ilmu Baghyāan Baynahum ۗ Wa Man Yakfur Bi'āyāti Allāhi Fa'inna Allāha Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi 003-019. Surely the (true) religion with Allah is Islam, and those to whom the Book had been given did not show opposition but after knowledge had come to them, out of envy among themselves; and whoever disbelieves in the communications of Allah then surely Allah is quick in reckoning. ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ۗ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ۗ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‍
Fa'in Ĥājjūka Faqul 'Aslamtu Wajhiya Lillāh Wa Mani Attaba`ani Wa Qul ۗ Lilladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba Wa Al-'Ummīyīna 'A'aslamtum Fa'in ۚ 'Aslamū Faqadi Ahtadaw Wa 'In ۖ Tawallaw Fa'innamā `Alayka Al-Balāghu Wa Allāhu ۗ Başīrun Bil-`Ibādi 003-020. But if they dispute with you, say: I have submitted myself entirely to Allah and (so) every one who follows me; and say to those who have been given the Book and the unlearned people: Do you submit yourselves? So if they submit then indeed they follow the right way; and if they turn back, then upon you is only the delivery of the message and Allah sees the servants. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ۗ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ۚ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ۖ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ۗ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yakfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa Yaqtulūna An-Nabīyīna Bighayri Ĥaqqin Wa Yaqtulūna Al-Ladhīna Ya'murūna Bil-Qisţi Mina An-Nāsi Fabashshirhum Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin 003-021. Surely (as for) those who disbelieve in the communications of Allah and slay the prophets unjustly and slay those among men who enjoin justice, announce to them a painful chastisement. ‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌
'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Ĥabiţat 'A`māluhum Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Mā Lahum Minşirīna 003-022. Those are they whose works shall become null in this world as well as the hereafter, and they shall have no helpers. ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‌ ‌‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌
'Alam Tara 'Ilá Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Naşībāan Mina Al-Kitābi Yud`awna 'Ilá Kitābi Allāhi Liyaĥkuma Baynahum Thumma Yatawallá Farīqun Minhum Wa Hum Mu`rūna 003-023. Have you not considered those (Jews) who are given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah that it might decide between them, then a part of them turn back and they withdraw. ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍
Dhālika Bi'annahum Qālū Lan Tamassanā An-Nāru 'Illā 'Ayyāmāan Ma`dūdātin ۖ Wa Gharrahum Fī Dīnihim Mā Kānū Yaftarūna 003-024. This is because they say: The fire shall not touch us but for a few days; and what they have forged deceives them in the matter of their religion. ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‍‌ۖ ‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌
Fakayfa 'Idhā Jama`nāhum LiyawminRayba Fīhi Wa Wuffiyat Kullu Nafsin Mā Kasabat Wa Hum Lā Yužlamūna 003-025. Then how will it be when We shall gather them together on a day about which there is no doubt, and every soul shall be fully paid what it has earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly? ‍‍‍ ‌‌‌‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍
Quli Allāhumma Mālika Al-Mulki Tu'utī Al-Mulka Man Tashā'u Wa Tanzi`u Al-Mulka Mimman Tashā'u Wa Tu`izzu Man Tashā'u Wa Tudhillu Man Tashā'u ۖ Biyadika Al-Khayru ۖ 'Innaka `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun 003-026. Say: O Allah, Master of the Kingdom! Thou givest the kingdom to whomsoever Thou pleasest and takest away the kingdom from whomsoever Thou pleasest, and Thou exaltest whom Thou pleasest and abasest whom Thou pleasest in Thine hand is the good; surety, Thou hast power over all things. ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ۖ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۖ‍ ‌ ‍
Tūliju Al-Layla Fī An-Nahāri Wa Tūliju An-Nahāra Al-Layli ۖ Wa Tukhriju Al-Ĥayya Mina Al-Mayyiti Wa Tukhriju Al-Mayyita Mina Al-Ĥayyi ۖ Wa Tarzuqu Man Tashā'u Bighayri Ĥisābin 003-027. Thou makest the night to pass into the day and Thou makest the day to pass into the night, and Thou bringest forth the living from the dead and Thou bringest forth the dead from the living, and Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleasest without measure. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ۖ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍ ۖ ‌‌‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Lā Yattakhidhi Al-Mu'uminūna Al-Kāfirīna 'Awliyā'a Min Dūni Al-Mu'uminīna ۖ Wa Man Yaf`al Dhālika Falaysa Mina Allāhi Fī Shay'in 'Illā 'An Tattaqū Minhum Tuqāatan ۗ Wa Yuĥadhdhirukumu Allāhu Nafsahu ۗ Wa 'Ilá Allāhi Al-Maşīru 003-028. Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he shall have nothing of (the guardianship of) Allah, but you should guard yourselves against them, guarding carefully; and Allah makes you cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and to Allah is the eventual coming. ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ۖ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ۗ ‌‌ ‍ ‍ ۗ ‌‌‌ ‍‍
Qul 'In Tukhfū Mā Fī Şudūrikum 'Aw Tubdūhu Ya`lamhu Allāhu ۗ Wa Ya`lamu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa ۗ Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun 003-029. Say: Whether you hide what is in your hearts or manifest it, Allah knows it, and He knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and Allah has power over all things. ‍ ‌‌‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۗ ‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۗ ‌ ‍
Yawma Tajidu Kullu Nafsin Mā `Amilat Min Khayrin Muĥđaan Wa Mā `Amilat Min Sū'in Tawaddu Law 'Anna Baynahā Wa Baynahu~ 'Amadāan Ba`īdāan ۗ Wa Yuĥadhdhirukumu Allāhu Nafsahu Wa ۗ Allāhu Ra'ūfun Bil-`Ibādi 003-030. On the day that every soul shall find present what it has done of good and what it has done of evil, it shall wish that between it and that (evil) there were a long duration of time; and Allah makes you to be cautious of (retribution from) Himself; and Allah is Compassionate to the servants. ‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌~ ‌‌‌ ‌ۗ ‌‌ ‍ ‍ ۗ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‍
Qul 'In Kuntum Tuĥibbūna Allāha Fa Attabi`ūnī Yuĥbibkumu Allāhu Wa Yaghfir Lakum Dhunūbakum Wa ۗ Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun 003-031. Say: If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your faults, and Allah is Forgiving, MercifuL ‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ۗ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍
Qul 'Aţī`ū Allaha Wa Ar-Rasūla ۖ Fa'in Tawallaw Fa'inna Allāha Lā Yuĥibbu Al-Kāfirīna 003-032. Say: Obey Allah and the Apostle; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers. ‍ ‌‍‍ ‌‍‍ ۖ ‌‌ ‍ ‌
'Inna Allāha Aşţafá 'Ādama Wa Nūĥāan Wa 'Āla 'Ibhīma Wa 'Āla `Imn `Alá Al-`Ālamīna 003-033. Surely Allah chose Adam and Nuh and the descendants of Ibrahim and the descendants of Imran above the nations. ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌
Dhurrīyatan Ba`đuhā Min Ba`đin Wa ۗ Allāhu Samī`un `Alīmun 003-034. Offspring one of the other; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing. ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ۗ‍‍‍
'Idh Qālati Amra'atu `Imrāna Rabbi 'Innī Nadhartu Laka Mā Fī Baţnī Muĥarraan Fataqabbal Minnī ۖ 'Innaka 'Anta As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu 003-035. When a woman of Imran said: My Lord! surely I vow to Thee what is in my womb, to be devoted (to Thy service); accept therefore from me, surely Thou art the Hearing, the Knowing. ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ۖ‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍
Falammā Wađa`at/hā Qālat Rabbi 'Innī Wađa`tuhā 'Unthá Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Wađa`at Wa Laysa Adh-Dhakaru Kāl'unthá ۖ Wa 'Innī Sammaytuhā Maryama Wa 'Innī 'U`īdhuhā Bika Wa Dhurrīyatahā Mina Ash-Shayţāni Ar-Rajīmi 003-036. So when she brought forth, she said: My Lord! Surely I have brought it forth a female-- and Allah knew best what she brought forth-- and the male is not like the female, and I have named it Marium, and I commend her and her offspring into Thy protection from the accursed Shaitan. ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ۖ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍
Fataqabbalahā Rabbuhā Biqabūlin Ĥasanin Wa 'Anbatahā Nabātāan Ĥasanāan Wa Kaffalahā Zakarīyā ۖ Kullamā Dakhala `Alayhā Zakarīyā Al-Miĥrāba Wajada `Indahā Rizqāan ۖ Qāla Yā Maryamu 'Anná Laki Hādhā ۖ Qālat Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi ۖ 'Inna Allāha Yarzuqu Man Yashā'u Bighayri Ĥisābin 003-037. So her Lord accepted her with a good acceptance and made her grow up a good growing, and gave her into the charge of Zakariya; whenever Zakariya entered the sanctuary to (see) her, he found with her food. He said: O Marium! whence comes this to you? She said: It is from Allah. Surely Allah gives to whom He pleases without measure. ‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌‌‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ۖ ‌ ‌‍‍ ‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‌ۖ ‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ۖ ‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ۖ ‍ ‌‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Hunālika Da`ā Zakarīyā Rabbahu ۖ Qāla Rabbi Hab Lī Min Ladunka Dhurrīyatan Ţayyibatan ۖ 'Innaka Samī`u Ad-Du`ā'i 003-038. There did Zakariya pray to his Lord; he said: My Lord! grant me from Thee good offspring; surely Thou art the Hearer of prayer. ‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍ ۖ ‌‍ ‍‌‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‌ ۖ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Fanādat/hu Al-Malā'ikatu Wa Huwa Qā'imun Yuşallī Fī Al-Miĥrābi 'Anna Allāha Yubashshiruka Biyaĥyá Muşaddiqāan Bikalimatin Mina Allāhi Wa Sayyidāan Wa Ĥaşūan Wa Nabīyāan Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna 003-039. Then the angels called to him as he stood praying in the sanctuary: That Allah gives you the good news of Yahya verifying a Word from Allah, and honorable and chaste and a prophet from among the good ones. ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‌‍‍
Qāla Rabbi 'Anná Yakūnu Lī Ghulāmun Wa Qad Balaghaniya Al-Kibaru Wa Amra'atī `Āqirun ۖ Qāla Kadhālika Allāhu Yaf`alu Mā Yashā'u 003-040. He said: My Lord! when shall there be a son (born) to me, and old age has already come upon me, and my wife is barren? He said: even thus does Allah what He pleases. ‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ۖ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍
Qāla Rabbi Aj`al Lī 'Āyatan ۖ Qāla 'Āyatuka 'Allā Tukallima An-Nāsa Thalāthata 'Ayyāmin 'Illā Ramzāan ۗ Wa Adhkur Rabbaka Kathīrāan Wa Sabbiĥ Bil-`Ashīyi Wa Al-'Ibkāri 003-041. He said: My Lord! appoint a sign for me. Said He: Your sign is that you should not speak to men for three days except by signs; and remember your Lord much and glorify Him in the evening and the morning. ‌‍ ‍ ‍ ‌‌ ۖ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ۗ‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‍
Wa 'Idh Qālati Al-Malā'ikatu Yā Maryamu 'Inna Allāha Aşţafāki Wa Ţahharaki Wa Aşţafāki `Alá Nisā'i Al-`Ālamīna 003-042. And when the angels said: O Marium! surely Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of of the world. ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌
Yā Maryamu Aqnutī Lirabbiki Wa Asjudī Wa Arka`ī Ma`a Ar-ki`īna 003-043. O Marium! keep to obedience to your Lord and humble yourself, and bow down with those who bow. ‍‍‍ ‍
Dhālika Min 'Nbā'i Al-Ghaybi Nūĥīhi 'Ilayka ۚ Wa Mā Kunta Ladayhim 'Idh Yulqūna 'Aqlāmahum 'Ayyuhum Yakfulu Maryama Wa Mā Kunta Ladayhim 'Idh Yakhtaşimūna 003-044. This is of the announcements relating to the unseen which We reveal to you; and you were not with them when they cast their pens (to decide) which of them should have Marium in his charge, and you were not with them when they contended one with another. ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍ۚ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
'Idh Qālati Al-Malā'ikatu Yā Maryamu 'Inna Allāha Yubashshiruki Bikalimatin Minhu Asmuhu Al-Masīĥu `Īsá Abnu Maryama Wajīhāan Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Mina Al-Muqarrabīna 003-045. When the angels said: O Marium, surely Allah gives you good news with a Word from Him (of one) whose name is the '. Messiah, Isa son of Marium, worthy of regard in this world and the hereafter and of those who are made near (to Allah). ‌‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍ ‌‌‍‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍
Wa Yukallimu An-Nāsa Fī Al-Mahdi Wa Kahlāan Wa Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna 003-046. And he shall speak to the people when in the cradle and when of old age, and (he shall be) one of the good ones. ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍
Qālat Rabbi 'Anná Yakūnu Lī Waladun Wa Lam Yamsasnī Basharun ۖ Qāla Kadhāliki Allāhu Yakhluqu Mā Yashā'u ۚ 'Idhā Qá 'Aman Fa'innamā Yaqūlu Lahu Kun Fayakūnu 003-047. She said: My Lord! when shall there be a son (born) to I me, and man has not touched me? He said: Even so, Allah creates what He pleases; when He has decreed a matter, He only says to it, Be, and it is. ‍ ‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ۖ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‌‌‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌
Wa Yu`allimuhu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa At-Tawata Wa Al-'Injīla 003-048. And He will teach him the Book and the wisdom and the Tavrat and the Injeel. ‍‍‍‌‍‌
Wa Rasūlāan 'Ilá Banī 'Isrā'īla 'Annī Qad Ji'tukum Bi'āyatin Min Rabbikum ۖ 'Annī 'Akhluqu Lakum Mina Aţ-Ţīni Kahay'ati Aţ-Ţayri Fa'anfukhu Fīhi Fayakūnu Ţayan Bi'idhni Allāhi ۖ Wa 'Ubri'u Al-'Akmaha Wa Al-'Abraşa Wa 'Uĥyi Al-Mawtá Bi'idhni Allāhi ۖ Wa 'Unabbi'ukum Bimā Ta'kulūna Wa Mā Taddakhirūna Fī Buyūtikum ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan Lakum 'In Kuntum Mu'uminyna 003-049. And (make him) an apostle to the children of Israel: That I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I determine for you out of dust like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird with Allah's permission and I heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life with Allah's permission and I inform you of what you should eat and what you should store in your houses; most surely there is a sign in this for you, if you are believers. ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ۖ ‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‌ ‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍
Wa Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayya Mina At-Tawati Wa Li'uĥilla Lakum Ba`đa Al-Ladhī Ĥurrima `Alaykum ۚ Wa Ji'tukum Bi'āyatin Min Rabbikum Fa Attaqū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ūni 003-050. And a verifier of that which is before me of the Taurat and that I may allow you part of that which has been forbidden t you, and I have come to you with a sign from your Lord therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah and obey me. ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‍‌ ‌ ‍ ۚ‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍
'Inna Allāha Rabbī Wa Rabbukum Fā`budūhu ۗdhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun 003-051. Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore serve Him; this is the right path. ‍ ‌‍ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‌ ۗ ‌‌ ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍
Falammā 'Aĥassa `Īsá Minhumu Al-Kufra Qāla Man 'Anşārī 'Ilá Allāhi ۖ Qāla Al-Ĥawārīyūna Naĥnu 'Anşāru Allāhi 'Āmannā Billāhi Wa Ash/had Bi'annā Muslimūna 003-052. But when Isa perceived unbelief on their part, he said Who will be my helpers in Allah's way? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the way) of Allah: We believe in Allah and bear witness that we are submitting ones. ‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ۖ ‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍ ‌‍‌
Rabbanā 'Āmannā Bimā 'Anzalta Wa Attaba`nā Ar-Rasūla Fāktubnā Ma`a Ash-Shāhidīna 003-053. Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed and we follow the apostle, so write us down with those who bear witness. ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌
Wa Makarū Wa Makara Allāhu Wa ۖ Allāhu Khayru Al-Mākirīna 003-054. And they planned and Allah (also) planned, and Allah is the best of planners. ‌ ‌‍ۖ ‍‍‍‌
'Idh Qāla Allāhu Yā `Īsá 'Innī Mutawaffīka Wa fi`uka 'Ilayya Wa Muţahhiruka Mina Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Jā`ilu Al-Ladhīna Attaba`ūka Fawqa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Ilá Yawmi Al-Qiyā ۖ Mati Thumma 'Ilayya Marji`ukum Fa'aĥkumu Baynakum Fīmā Kuntum Fīhi Takhtalifūna 003-055. And when Allah said: O Isa, I am going to terminate the period of your stay (on earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you differed. ‌‌ ‍ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‍‍‍ ‍ ۖ ‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍
Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Fa'u`adhdhibuhum `Adhābāan Shadīdāan Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Mā Lahum Minşirīna 003-056. Then as to those who disbelieve, I will chastise them with severe chastisement in this world and the hereafter, and they shall have no helpers. ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌‍‌‍‌ ‌‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌
Wa 'Ammā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Fayuwaffīhim 'Ujūrahum Wa ۗ Allāhu Lā Yuĥibbu Až-Žālimīna 003-057. And as to those who believe and do good deeds, He will pay them fully their rewards; and Allah does not love the unjust. ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍ ۗ‍‍
Dhālika Natlūhu `Alayka Mina Al-'Āyāti Wa Adh-Dhikri Al-Ĥakīmi 003-058. This We recite to you of the communications and the wise reminder. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
'Inna Mathala `Īsá `Inda Allāhi Kamathali 'Ādama ۖ Khalaqahu Min Turābin Thumma Qāla Lahu Kun Fayakūnu 003-059. Surely the likeness of Isa is with Allah as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, Be, and he was. ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌ ۖ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‌‌ ‍ ‍‌
Al-Ĥaqqu Min Rabbika Falā Takun Mina Al-Mumtarīna 003-060. (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of the disputers. ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌ ‍‌
Faman Ĥājjaka Fīhi Min Ba`di Mā Jā'aka Mina Al-`Ilmi Faqul Ta`ālaw Nad`u 'Abnā'anā Wa 'Abnā'akum Wa Nisā'anā Wa Nisā'akum Wa 'Anfusanā Wa 'Anfusakum Thumma Nabtahil Fanaj`al La`nata Allāhi `Alá Al-Kādhibīna 003-061. But whoever disputes with you in this matter after what has come to you of knowledge, then say: Come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and our near people and your near people, then let us be earnest in prayer, and pray for the curse of Allah on the liars. ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌‍‌ ‌‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌
'Inna Hādhā Lahuwa Al-Qaşaşu Al-Ĥaqqu ۚ Wa Mā Min 'Ilahin 'Illā Al-Lahu ۚ Wa 'Inna Allāha Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu 003-062. Most surely this is the true explanation, and there is no god but Allah; and most surely Allah-- He is the Mighty, the Wise. ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ۚ ‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
Fa'in Tawallaw Fa'inna Allāha `Alīmun Bil-Mufsidīna 003-063. But if they turn back, then surely Allah knows the mischief-makers. ‌‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Ta`ālaw 'Ilá Kalimatin Sawā'in Baynanā Wa Baynakum 'Allā Na`buda 'Illā Al-Laha Wa Lā Nushrika Bihi Shay'āan Wa Lā Yattakhidha Ba`đunā Ba`đāan 'Arbābāan Min Dūni Allāhi ۚ Fa'in Tawallaw Faqūlū Ash/hadū Bi'annā Muslimūna 003-064. Say: O followers of the Book! come to an equitable proposition between us and you that we shall not serve any but Allah and (that) we shall not associate aught with Him, and (that) some of us shall not take others for lords besides Allah; but if they turn back, then say: Bear witness that we are Muslims. ‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Tuĥājjūna Fī 'Ibhīma Wa Mā 'Unzilati At-Tawatu Wa Al-'Injīlu 'Illā Min Ba`dihi~ ۚ 'Afalā Ta`qilūna 003-065. O followers of the Book! why do you dispute about Ibrahim, when the Taurat and the Injeel were not revealed till after him; do you not then understand? ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ~‍ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍
Hā'antum Hā'uulā' Ĥājajtum Fīmā Lakum Bihi `Ilmun Falima Tuĥājjūna Fīmā Laysa Lakum Bihi `Ilmun Wa Allāhu ۚ Ya`lamu Wa 'Antum Lā Ta`lamūna 003-066. Behold! you are they who disputed about that of which you had knowledge; why then do you dispute about that of which you have no knowledge? And Allah knows while you do not know. ‍‍‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍ ‌ ‌ ۚ ‌‌‌‍ ‌
Mā Kāna 'Ibhīmu Yahūdīyāan Wa Lā Naşnīyāan Wa Lakin Kāna Ĥanīfāan Muslimāan Wa Mā Kāna Mina Al-Mushrikīna 003-067. Ibrahim was not a Jew nor a Christian but he was (an) upright (man), a Muslim, and he was not one of the polytheists. ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌‍‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍
'Inna 'Awlá An-Nāsi Bi'ibhīma Lalladhīna Attaba`ūhu Wa Hadhā An-Nabīyu Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa ۗ Allāhu Wa Līyu Al-Mu'uminīna 003-068. Most surely the nearest of people to Ibrahim are those who followed him and this Prophet and those who believe and Allah is the guardian of the believers. ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌ۗ
Waddat Ţā'ifatun Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi Law Yuđillūnakum Wa Mā Yuđillūna 'Illā 'Anfusahum Wa Mā Yash`urūn 003-069. A party of the followers of the Book desire that they should lead you astray, and they lead not astray but themselves, and they do not perceive. ‌ ‍‌‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‌ ‌
Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Takfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa 'Antum Tash/hadūna 003-070. O followers of the Book! Why do you disbelieve in the communications of Allah while you witness (them)? ‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‍‍‌‍‍ ‍ ‌‌‌‍ ‌
Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Talbisūna Al-Ĥaqqa Bil-Bāţili Wa Taktumūna Al-Ĥaqqa Wa 'Antum Ta`lamūna 003-071. O followers of the Book! Why do you confound the truth with the falsehood and hide the truth while you know? ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‌
Wa Qālat Ţā'ifatun Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi 'Āminū Bial-Ladhī 'Unzila `Alá Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wajha An-Nahāri Wa Akfurūkhirahu La`allahum Yarji`ūna 003-072. And a party of the followers of the Book say: Avow belief in that which has been revealed to those who believe, in the first part of the day, and disbelieve at the end of it, perhaps they go back on their religion. ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍
Wa Lā Tu'uminū 'Illā Liman Tabi`a Dīnakum Qul 'Inna Al-Hudá Hudá Allāhi 'An Yu'utá 'Aĥadun Mithla Mā 'Ūtītum 'Aw Yuĥājjūkum `Inda Rabbikum ۗ Qul 'Inna Al-Fađla Biyadi Allāhi Yu'utīhi Man Yashā'u Wa ۗ Allāhu Wāsi`un `Alīmun 003-073. And do not believe but in him who follows your religion. Say: Surely the (true) guidance is the guidance of Allah-- that one may be given (by Him) the like of what you were given; or they would contend with you by an argument before your Lord. Say: Surely grace is in the hand of Allah, He gives it to whom He pleases; and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing. ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ۗ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ۗ ‌‌
Yakhtaşşu Biraĥmatihi Man Yashā'u Wa ۗ Allāhu Dhū Al-Fađli Al-`Ažīmi 003-074. He specially chooses for His mercy whom He pleases; and Allah is the Lord of mighty grace. ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ۗ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍
Wa Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi Man 'In Ta'manhu Biqinţārin Yu'uaddihi~ 'Ilayka Wa Minhum Man 'In Ta'manhu Bidīnārin Lā Yu'uaddihi~ 'Ilayka 'Illā Mā Dumta `Alayhi Qā'imāan ۗ Dhālika Bi'annahum Qālū Laysa `Alaynā Fī Al-'Ummīyīna Sabīlun Wa Yaqūlūna `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Wa Hum Ya`lamūna 003-075. And among the followers of the Book there are some such that if you entrust one (of them) with a heap of wealth, he shall pay it back to you; and among them there are some such that if you entrust one (of them) with a dinar he shall not pay it back to you except so long as you remain firm in demanding it; this is because they say: There is not upon us in the matter of the unlearned people any way (to reproach); and they tell a lie against Allah while they know. ‍‌‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍ۗ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Balá Man 'Awfá Bi`ahdihi Wa Attaqá Fa'inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Muttaqīna 003-076. Yea, whoever fulfills his promise and guards (against evil)-- then surely Allah loves those who guard (against evil). ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yashtarūna Bi`ahdi Allāhi Wa 'Aymānihim Thamanāan Qalīlāan 'Ūlā'ika Lā Khalāqa Lahum Al-'Ākhirati Wa Lā Yukallimuhumu Allāhu Wa Lā Yanžuru 'Ilayhim Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Wa Lā Yuzakkīhim Wa Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun 003-077. (As for) those who take a small price for the covenant of Allah and their own oaths-- surely they shall have no portion in the hereafter, and Allah will not speak to them, nor will He look upon them on the day of resurrection nor will He purify them, and they shall have a painful chastisement. ‍‍‍‍‍‌‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‌
Wa 'Inna Minhum Lafarīqāan Yalwūna 'Alsinatahum Bil-Kitābi Litaĥsabūhu Mina Al-Kitābi Wa Mā Huwa Mina Al-Kitābi Wa Yaqūlūna Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi Wa Mā Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi Wa Yaqūlūna `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Wa Hum Ya`lamūna 003-078. Most surely there is a party amongst those who distort the Book with their tongue that you may consider it to be (a part) of the Book, and they say, It is from Allah, while it is not from Allah, and they tell a lie against Allah whilst they know. ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Mā Kāna Libasharin 'An Yu'utiyahu Allāhu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥukma Wa An-Nubūwata Thumma Yaqūla Lilnnāsi Kūnū `Ibādāan Lī Min Dūni Allāhi Wa Lakin Kūnū Rabbānīyīna Bimā Kuntum Tu`allimūna Al-Kitāba Wa Bimā Kuntum Tadrusūna 003-079. It is not meet for a mortal that Allah should give him the Book and the wisdom and prophethood, then he should say to men: Be my servants rather than Allah's; but rather (he would say): Be worshippers of the Lord because of your teaching the Book and your reading (it yourselves). ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍
Wa Lā Ya'murakum 'An Tattakhidhū Al-Malā'ikata Wa An-Nabīyīna 'Arbābāan ۗ 'Aya'murukum Bil-Kufri Ba`da 'Idh 'Antum Muslimūna 003-080. And neither would he enjoin you that you should take the angels and the prophets for lords; what! would he enjoin you with unbelief after you are Muslims? ‌ ‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ۗ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌
Wa 'Idh 'Akhadha Allāhu Mīthāqa An-Nabīyīna Lamā 'Ātaytukum Min Kitābin Wa Ĥikmatin Thumma Jā'akum Rasūlun Muşaddiqun Limā Ma`akum Latu'uminunna Bihi Wa Latanşurunnahu ۚ Qāla 'A'aqrartum Wa 'Akhadhtum `Alá Dhālikum 'Işrī ۖ Qālū 'Aqrarnā ۚ Qāla Fāsh/hadū Wa 'Anā Ma`akum Mina Ash-Shāhidīna 003-081. And when Allah made a covenant through the prophets: Certainly what I have given you of Book and wisdom-- then an apostle comes to you verifying that which is with you, you must believe in him, and you must aid him. He said: Do you affirm and accept My compact in this (matter)? They said: We do affirm. He said: Then bear witness, and I (too) am of the bearers of witness with you. ‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ۚ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‌ ۖ ‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‌ ‌‌‌
Faman Tawallá Ba`da Dhālika Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Fāsiqūna 003-082. Whoever therefore turns back after this, these it is that are the transgressors. ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍
'Afaghayra Dīni Allāhi Yabghūna Wa Lahu~ 'Aslama Man As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Ţaw`āan Wa Karhāan Wa 'Ilayhi Yurja`ūna 003-083. Is it then other than Allah's religion that they seek (to follow), and to Him submits whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him shall they be returned. ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍~ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‍‍
Qul 'Āmannā Billāhi Wa Mā 'Unzila `Alaynā Wa Mā 'Unzila `Alá 'Ibhīma Wa 'Ismā`īla Wa 'Isĥāqa Wa Ya`qūba Wa Al-'Asbāţi Wa Mā 'Ūtiya Mūsá Wa `Īsá Wa An-Nabīyūna Min Rabbihim Lā Nufarriqu Bayna 'Aĥadin Minhum Wa Naĥnu Lahu Muslimūna 003-084. Say: We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and what was given to Musa and Isa and to the prophets from their Lord; we do not make any distinction between any of them, and to Him do we submit. ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍
Wa Man Yabtaghi Ghayra Al-'Islāmi Dīnāan Falan Yuqbala Minhu Wa Huwa Fī Al-'Ākhirati Mina Al-Khāsirīna 003-085. And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers. ‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍ ‍‍‍‍
Kayfa Yahdī Al-Lahu Qawmāan Kafarū Ba`da 'Īmānihim Wa Shahidū 'Anna Ar-Rasūla Ĥaqqun Wa Jā'ahumu Al-Bayyinātu Wa ۚ Allāhu Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna 003-086. How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their believing and (after) they had borne witness that the Apostle was true and clear arguments had come to them; and Allah does not guide the unjust people. ‍‍ ‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ۚ‍‍ ‍‍
'Ūlā'ika Jazā'uuhum 'Anna `Alayhim La`nata Allāhi Wa Al-Malā'ikati Wa An-Nāsi 'Ajma`īna 003-087. (As for) these, their reward is that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and of men, all together. ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍
Khālidīna Fīhā Lā Yukhaffafu `Anhumu Al-`Adhābu Wa Lā Hum Yunžarūna 003-088. Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be respited. ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
'Illā Al-Ladhīna Tābū Min Ba`di Dhālika Wa 'Aşlaĥū Fa'inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun 003-089. Except those who repent after that and amend, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. ‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Ba`da 'Īmānihim Thumma Azdādū Kufan Lan Tuqbala Tawbatuhum Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Ađ-Đāllūna 003-090. Surely, those who disbelieve a,fter their believing, then increase in unbelief, their repentance shall not be accepted, and these are they that go astray. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍ ‌‌‌‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Mātū Wa Hum Kuffārun Falan Yuqbala Min 'Aĥadihim Mil'u Al-'Arđi Dhahabāan Wa Law Aftadá Bihi~ ۗ 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun Wa Mā Lahum Minşirīna 003-091. Surely, those who disbelieve and die while they are unbelievers, the earth full of gold shall not be accepted from one of them, though he should offer to ransom himself with it, these it is who shall have a painful chastisement, and they shall have no helpers. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ۗ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌
Lan Tanālū Al-Birra Ĥattá Tunfiqū Mimmā Tuĥibbūna ۚ Wa Mā Tunfiqū Min Shay'in Fa'inna Allāha Bihi `Alīmun 003-092. By no means shall you attain to righteousness until you spend (benevolently) out of what you love; and whatever thing you spend, Allah surely knows it. ‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‍ ‍
Kullu Aţ-Ţa`āmi Kāna Ĥillāan Libanī 'Isrā'īla 'Illā Mā Ĥarrama 'Isrā'īlu `Alá Nafsihi Min Qabli 'An Tunazzala At-Tawatu ۗ Qul Fa'tū Bit-Tawati Fātlūhā 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna 003-093. All food was lawful to the children of Israel except that which Israel had forbidden to himself, before the Taurat was revealed. Say: Bring then the Taurat and read it, if you are truthful. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‌ ۗ ‌ ‍‍‌‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌
Famani Aftará `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Min Ba`di Dhālika Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Až-Žālimūna 003-094. Then whoever fabricates a lie against Allah after this, these it is that are the unjust. ‌‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍
Qul Şadaqa Allāhu Fa ۗ Attabi`ū Millata 'Ibhīma Ĥanīfāan Wa Mā Kāna Mina Al-Mushrikīna 003-095. Say: Allah has spoken the truth, therefore follow the religion of Ibrahim, the upright one; and he was not one of the polytheists. ‍‍ ۗ ‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍
'Inna 'Awwala Baytin Wuđi`a Lilnnāsi Lalladhī Bibakkata Mubārakāan Wa Hudan Lil`ālamīna 003-096. Most surely the first house appointed for men is the one at Bekka, blessed and a guidance for the nations. ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‍
Fīhi 'Āyātun Bayyinātun Maqāmu 'Ibhīma ۖ Wa Man Dakhalahu Kāna 'Āmināan ۗ Wa Lillāh `Alá An-Nāsi Ĥijju Al-Bayti Mani Astaţā`a 'Ilayhi Sabīlāan ۚ Wa Man Kafara Fa'inna Allāha Ghanīyun `Ani Al-`Ālamīna 003-097. In it are clear signs, the standing place of Ibrahim, and whoever enters it shall be secure, and pilgrimage to the House is incumbent upon men for the sake of Allah, (upon) every one who is able to undertake the journey to it; and whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is Self-sufficient, above any need of the worlds. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍ۖ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ۗ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍ۚ ‌‍‌
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Takfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa Allāhu Shahīdun `Alá Mā Ta`malūna 003-098. Say: O followers of the Book! why do you disbelieve in the communications of Allah? And Allah is a witness of what you do. ‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‍‍‌‍‍ ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Taşuddūna `An Sabīli Allāhi Man 'Āmana Tabghūnahā `Iwajāan Wa 'Antum Shuhadā'u ۗ Wa Mā Al-Lahu Bighāfilin `Ammā Ta`malūna 003-099. Say: O followers of the Book! why do you hinder him who believes from the way of Allah? You seek (to make) it crooked, while you are witness, and Allah is not heedless of what you do. ‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌ ۗ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'In Tuţī`ū Farīqāan Mina Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba Yaruddūkum Ba`da 'Īmānikum Kāfirīna 003-100. O you who believe! if you obey a party from among those who have been given the Book, they will turn you back as unbelievers after you have believed. ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍
Wa Kayfa Takfurūna Wa 'Antum Tutlá `Alaykum 'Āyātu Allāhi Wa Fīkum Rasūluhu ۗ Wa Man Ya`taşim Billāhi Faqad Hudiya 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin 003-101. But how can you disbelieve while it is you to whom the communications of Allah are recited, and among you is His Apostle? And whoever holds fast to Allah, he indeed is guided to the right path. ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌‍ ‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‍ ‌ ‌‍ ۗ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Attaqū Allaha Ĥaqqa Tuqātihi Wa Lā Tamūtunna 'Illā Wa 'Antum Muslimūna 003-102. O you who believe! be careful of (your duty to) Allah with the care which is due to Him, and do not die unless you are Muslims. ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‌
Wa A`taşimū Biĥabli Allāhi Jamī`āan Wa Lā Tafarraqū ۚ Wa Adhkurū Ni`mata Allāhi `Alaykum 'Idh Kuntum 'A`dā'an Fa'allafa Bayna Qulūbikum Fa'aşbaĥtum Bini`matihi~ 'Ikhwānāan Wa Kuntum `Alá Shafā Ĥufratin Mina An-Nāri Fa'anqadhakum Minhā ۗ Kadhālika Yubayyinu Allāhu Lakum 'Āyātihi La`allakum Tahtadūna 003-103. And hold fast by the covenant of Allah all together and be not disunited, and remember the favor of Allah on you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts so by His favor you became brethren; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire, then He saved you from it, thus does Allah make clear to you His communications that you may follow the right way. ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ۚ‌‌‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‌‍‌‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ۗ ‍ ‌‍
Wa Ltakun Minkum 'Ummatun Yad`ūna 'Ilá Al-Khayri Wa Ya'murūna Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Yanhawna `Ani Al-Munkari ۚ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mufliĥūna 003-104. And from among you there should be a party who invite to good and enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong, and these it is that shall be successful. ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ ‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍
Wa Lā Takūnū Kālladhīna Tafarraqū Wa Akhtalafū Min Ba`di Mā Jā'ahumu Al-Bayyinātu ۚ Wa 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun 003-105. And be not like those who became divided and disagreed after clear arguments had come to them, and these it is that shall have a grievous chastisement. ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ۚ ‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‌‍‍
Yawma Tabyađđu Wujūhun Wa Taswaddu Wujūhun ۚ Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna Aswaddat Wujūhuhum 'Akafartum Ba`da 'Īmānikum Fadhūqū Al-`Adhāba Bimā Kuntum Takfurūna 003-106. On the day when (some) faces shall turn white and (some) faces shall turn black; then as to those whose faces turn black: Did you disbelieve after your believing? Taste therefore the chastisement because you disbelieved. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‍ۚ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌
Wa 'Ammā Al-Ladhīna Abyađđat Wujūhuhum Fafī Raĥmati Allāhi Hum Fīhā Khālidūna 003-107. And as to those whose faces turn white, they shall be in Allah's mercy; in it they shall-abide. ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‍ ‍ ‌ ‍‌
Tilka 'Āyātu Allāhi Natlūhā `Alayka Bil-Ĥaqqi ۗ Wa Mā Al-Lahu Yurīdu Žulmāan Lil`ālamīna 003-108. These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth, and Allah does not desire any injustice to the creatures. ‌‍‍‍ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍ ۗ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
Wa Lillāh Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi ۚ Wa 'Ilá Allāhi Turja`u Al-'Umūru 003-109. And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; and to Allah all things return ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۚ ‌‌‌
Kuntum Khayra 'Ummatin 'Ukhrijat Lilnnāsi Ta'murūna Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Tanhawna `Ani Al-Munkari Wa Tu'uminūna Billāhi ۗ Wa Law 'Āmana 'Ahlu Al-Kitābi Lakāna Khayan Lahum ۚ Minhumu Al-Mu'uminūna Wa 'Aktharuhumu Al-Fāsiqūna 003-110. You are the best of the nations raised up for (the benefit of) men; you enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong and believe in Allah; and if the followers of the Book had believed it would have been better for them; of them (some) are believers and most of them are transgressors. ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ۗ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ۚ ‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍
Lan Yađurrūkum 'Illā 'Adhan ۖ Wa 'In Yuqātilūkum Yuwallūkumu Al-'Adbāra Thumma Lā Yunşarūna 003-111. They shall by no means harm you but with a slight evil; and if they fight with you they shall turn (their) backs to you, then shall they not be helped. ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‌ۖ ‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Đuribat `Alayhimu Adh-Dhillatu 'Ayna Mā Thuqifū 'Illā Biĥablin Mina Allāhi Wa Ĥablin Mina An-Nāsi Wa Bā'ū Bighađabin Mina Allāhi Wa Đuribat `Alayhimu Al-Maskanatu ۚ Dhālika Bi'annahum Kānū Yakfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa Yaqtulūna Al-'Anbiyā'a Bighayri Ĥaqqin ۚ Dhālika Bimā `Aşaw Wa Kānū Ya`tadūna 003-112. Abasement is made to cleave to them wherever they are found, except under a covenant with Allah and a covenant with men, and they have become deserving of wrath from Allah, and humiliation is made to cleave to them; this is because they disbelieved in the communications of Allah and slew the prophets unjustly; this is because they disobeyed and exceeded the limits. ‍ ‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍ ۚ‍‍‌‍‍ ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‌‍‌ۚ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌
Laysū Sawā'an ۗ Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi 'Ummatun Qā'imatun Yatlūna 'Āyāti Allāhi 'Ānā'a Al-Layli Wa Hum Yasjudūna 003-113. They are not all alike; of the followers of the Book there is an upright party; they recite Allah's communications in the nighttime and they adore (Him). ‍‍‌ۗ ‍‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌
Yu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Al-Yawmi Al-'Ākhiri Wa Ya'murūna Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Yanhawna `Ani Al-Munkari Wa Yusāri`ūna Fī Al-Khayrāti Wa 'Ūlā'ika Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna 003-114. They believe in Allah and the last day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong and they strive with one another in hastening to good deeds, and those are among the good. ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍
Wa Mā Yaf`alū Min Khayrin Falan Yukfarūhu Wa ۗ Allāhu `Alīmun Bil-Muttaqīna 003-115. And whatever good they do, they shall not be denied it, and Allah knows those who guard (against evil). ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‌ ۗ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lan Tughniya `Anhum 'Amwāluhum Wa Lā 'Awlāduhum Mina Allāhi Shay'āan ۖ Wa 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu An-Nāri ۚ Hum Fīhā Khālidūna 003-116. (As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least against Allah; and these are the inmates of the fire; therein they shall abide. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‍ ‍‍‍ۖ ‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ‍‌
Mathalu Mā Yunfiqūna Fī Hadhihi Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Kamathali Rīĥin Fīhā Şirrun 'Aşābat Ĥartha Qawmin Žalamū 'Anfusahum Fa'ahlakat/hu ۚ Wa Mā Žalamahumu Allāhu Wa Lakin 'Anfusahum Yažlimūna 003-117. The likeness of what they spend in the life of this world is as the likeness of wind in which is intense cold (that) smites the seed produce of a people who haw done injustice to their souls and destroys it; and Allah is not unjust to them, but they are unjust to themselves. ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ۚ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tattakhidhū Biţānatan Min Dūnikum Lā Ya'lūnakum Khabālāan Waddū Mā `Anittum Qad Badati Al-Baghđā'u Min 'Afwāhihim Wa Mā TukhŞudūruhum 'Akbaru ۚ Qad Bayyannā Lakumu Al-'Āyāti ۖ 'In Kuntum Ta`qilūna 003-118. O you who believe! do not take for intimate friends from among others than your own people; they do not fall short of inflicting loss upon you; they love what distresses you; vehement hatred has already appeared from out of their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater still; indeed, We have made the communications clear to you, if you will understand. ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ۚ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍
Hā'antum 'Ūlā'i Tuĥibbūnahum Wa Lā Yuĥibbūnakum Wa Tu'uminūna Bil-Kitābi Kullihi Wa 'Idhā Laqūkum Qālū 'Āmannā Wa 'Idhā Khalaw `Ađđū `Alaykumu Al-'Anāmila Mina Al-Ghayži Qul ۚ Mūtū Bighayžikum 'Inna ۗ Allāha `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri 003-119. Lo! you are they who will love them while they do not love you, and you believe in the Book (in) the whole of it; and when they meet you they say: We believe, and when they are alone, they bite the ends of their fingers in rage against you. Say: Die in your rage; surely Allah knows what is in the breasts. ‍‍‌‌‍ ‌‍‍‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌‌‌ ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ۚ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ۗ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌
'In Tamsaskum Ĥasanatun Tasu'uhum Wa 'In Tuşibkum Sayyi'atun Yafraĥū Bihā ۖ Wa 'In Taşbirū Wa Tattaqū Lā Yađurrukum Kayduhum Shay'āan ۗ 'Inna Allāha Bimā Ya`malūna Muĥīţun 003-120. If good befalls you, it grieves them, and if an evil afflicts you, they rejoice at it; and if you are patient and guard yourselves, their scheme will not injure you in any way; surely Allah comprehends what they do. ‌ ‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌ ۖ ‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ۗ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍
Wa 'Idh Ghadawta Min 'Ahlika Tubawwi'u Al-Mu'uminīna Maqā`ida Lilqitāli Wa ۗ Allāhu Samī`un `Alīmun 003-121. And when you did go forth early in the morning from your family to lodge the believers in encampments for war and Allah is Hearing, Knowing. ‌‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ۗ‍‍‍
'Idh Hammat Ţā'ifatāni Minkum 'An Tafshalā Wa Allāhu Walīyuhumā ۗ Wa `Alá Allāhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu'uminūna 003-122. When two parties from among you had determined that they should show cowardice, and Allah was the guardian of them both, and in Allah should the believers trust. ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ۗ ‌‌
Wa Laqad Naşarakumu Allāhu Bibadrin Wa 'Antum 'Adhillatun Fa ۖ Attaqū Allaha La`allakum Tashkurūna 003-123. And Allah did certainly assist you at Badr when you were weak; be careful of (your duty to) Allah then, that you may give thanks. ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‌‍ ‌‌‌ۖ‍‍‍ ‌
'Idh Taqūlu Lilmu'uminīna 'Alan Yakfiyakum 'An Yumiddakum Rabbukum Bithalāthati 'Ālāfin Mina Al-Malā'ikati Munzalīna 003-124. When you said to the believers: Does it not suffice you that your Lord should assist you with three thousand of the angels sent down? ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ‍‌‍‍
Balá ۚ 'In Taşbirū Wa Tattaqū Wa Ya'tūkum Min Fawrihimdhā Yumdidkum Rabbukum Bikhamsati 'Ālāfin Mina Al-Malā'ikati Musawwimīna 003-125. Yea! if you remain patient and are on your guard, and they come upon you in a headlong manner, your Lord will assist you with five thousand of the havoc-making angels. ۚ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌
Wa Mā Ja`alahu Allāhu 'Illā Bushrá Lakum Wa Litaţma'inna Qulūbukum Bihi ۗ Wa Mā An-Naşru 'Illā Min `Indi Allāhi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥakīmi 003-126. And Allah did not make it but as good news for you, and that your hearts might be at ease thereby, and victory is only from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. ‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍ ‍ ۗ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
Liyaqţa`a Ţarafāan Mina Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Aw Yakbitahum Fayanqalibū Khā'ibīna 003-127. That He may cut off a portion from among those who disbelieve, or abase them so that they should return disappointed of attaining what they desired. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍
Laysa Laka Mina Al-'Amri Shay'un 'Aw Yatūba `Alayhim 'Aw Yu`adhdhibahum Fa'innahum Žālimūna 003-128. You have no concern in the affair whether He turns to them (mercifully) or chastises them, for surely they are unjust. ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌‌
Wa Lillāh Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi ۚ Yaghfiru Liman Yashā'u Wa Yu`adhdhibu Man Yashā'u Wa ۚ Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun 003-129. And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; He forgives whom He pleases and chastises whom He pleases; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۚ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Ta'kulū Ar-Ribā 'Ađ`āfāan Muđā`afatan ۖ Wa Attaqū Allaha La`allakum Tufliĥūna 003-130. O you who believe! do not devour usury, making it double and redouble, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, that you may be successful. ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍ ۖ‍‍
Wa Attaqū An-Nāra Allatī 'U`iddat Lilkāfirīna 003-131. And guard yourselves against the fire which has been prepared for the unbelievers. ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍ ‌ ‍
Wa 'Aţī`ū Allaha Wa Ar-Rasūla La`allakum Turĥamūna 003-132. And obey Allah and the Apostle, that you may be shown mercy. ‌‍‍ ‌‍‍
Wa Sāri`ū 'Ilá Maghfiratin Min Rabbikum Wa Jannatin `Arđuhā As-Samāwātu Wa Al-'Arđu 'U`iddat Lilmuttaqīna 003-133. And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord; and a Garden, the extensiveness of which is (as) the heavens and the earth, it is prepared for those who guard (against evil). ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‍
Al-Ladhīna Yunfiqūna Fī As-Sarrā'i Wa Ađ-Đarrā'i Wa Al-Kāžimīna Al-Ghayža Wa Al-`Āfīna `Ani An-Nāsi Wa ۗ Allāhu Yuĥibbu Al-Muĥsinīna 003-134. Those who spend (benevolently) in ease as well as in straitness, and those who restrain (their) anger and pardon men; and Allah loves the doers of good (to others). ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ۗ
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Idhā Fa`alū Fāĥishatan 'Aw Žalamū 'Anfusahum Dhakarū Allaha Fāstaghfarū Lidhunūbihim Wa Man Yaghfiru Adh-Dhunūba 'Illā Al-Lahu Wa Lam Yuşirrū `Alá Mā Fa`alū Wa Hum Ya`lamūna 003-135. And those who when they commit an indecency or do injustice to their souls remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their faults-- and who forgives the faults but Allah, and (who) do not knowingly persist in what they have done. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌
'Ūlā'ika Jazā'uuhum Maghfiratun Min Rabbihim Wa Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā ۚ Wa Ni`ma 'Ajru Al-`Āmilīna 003-136. (As for) these-- their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and excellent is the reward of the laborers. ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ۚ ‌ ‌‍‌
Qad Khalat Min Qablikum Sunanun Fasīrū Fī Al-'Arđi Fānžurū Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mukadhdhibīna 003-137. Indeed there have been examples before you; therefore travel in the earth and see what was the end of the rejecters. ‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍
dhā Bayānun Lilnnāsi Wa Hudan Wa Maw`ižatun Lilmuttaqīna 003-138. This is a clear statement for men, and a guidance and an admonition to those who guard (against evil). ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Lā Tahinū Wa Lā Taĥzanū Wa 'Antumu Al-'A`lawna 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna 003-139. And be not infirm, and be not grieving, and you shall have the upper hand if you are believers. ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍
'In Yamsaskum Qarĥun Faqad Massa Al-Qawma Qarĥun Mithluhu ۚ Wa Tilka Al-'Ayyāmu Nudāwiluhā Bayna An-Nāsi Wa Liya`lama Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Yattakhidha Minkum Shuhadā'a Wa ۗ Allāhu Lā Yuĥibbu Až-Žālimīna 003-140. If a wound has afflicted you (at Ohud), a wound like it has also afflicted the (unbelieving) people; and We bring these days to men by turns, and that Allah may know those who believe and take witnesses from among you; and Allah does not love the unjust. ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍ ۚ‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‌ ۗ‍‍
Wa Liyumaĥĥişa Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Yamĥaqa Al-Kāfirīna 003-141. And that He may purge those who believe and deprive the unbelievers of blessings. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍
'Am Ĥasibtum 'An Tadkhulū Al-Jannata Wa Lammā Ya`lami Allāhu Al-Ladhīna Jāhadū Minkum Wa Ya`lama Aş-Şābirīna 003-142. Do you think that you will enter the garden while Allah has not yet known those who strive hard from among you, and (He has not) known the patient. ‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍
Wa Laqad Kuntum Tatamannawn Al-Mawta Min Qabli 'An Talqawhu Faqad Ra'aytumūhu Wa 'Antum Tanžurūna 003-143. And certainly you desired death before you met it, so indeed you have seen it and you look (at it) ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‌‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Wa Mā Muĥammadun 'Illā Rasūlun Qad Khalat Min Qablihi Ar-Rusulu ۚ 'Afa'īn Māta 'Aw Qutila Anqalabtum `Alá 'A`qābikum ۚ Wa Man Yanqalib `Alá `Aqibayhi Falan Yađurra Allāha Shay'āan ۗ Wa Sayaj Al-Lahu Ash-Shākirīna 003-144. And Muhammad is no more than an apostle; the apostles have already passed away before him; if then he dies or is killed will you turn back upon your heels? And whoever turns back upon his heels!s, he will by no means do harm to Allah in the least and Allah will reward the grateful. ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‍ۚ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ۚ ‌‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ۗ ‌‍‍‍ ‍‍
Wa Mā Kāna Linafsin 'An Tamūta 'Illā Bi'idhni Allāhi Kitābāan Mu'uajjalāan ۗ Wa Man Yurid Thawāba Ad-Dunyā Nu'utihi Minhā Wa Man Yurid Thawāba Al-'Ākhirati Nu'utihi Minhā ۚ Wa Sanaj Ash-Shākirīna 003-145. And a soul will not die but with the permission of Allah the term is fixed; and whoever desires the reward of this world, I shall give him of it, and whoever desires the reward of the hereafter I shall give him of it, and I will reward the grateful. ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ۗ ‌‍‌‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‌ ‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‌ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ۚ ‌‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Ka'ayyin Min Nabīyin Qātala Ma`ahu Ribbīyūna Kathīrun Famā Wahanū Limā 'Aşābahum Fī Sabīli Allāhi Wa Mā Đa`ufū Wa Mā Astakānū Wa ۗ Allāhu Yuĥibbu Aş-Şābirīna 003-146. And how many a prophet has fought with whom were many worshippers of the Lord; so they did not become weak-hearted on account of what befell them in Allah's way, nor did they weaken, nor did they abase themselves; and Allah loves the patient. ‍‌ ‍‌‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ۗ ‍‍‍‍
Wa Mā Kāna Qawlahum 'Illā 'An Qālū Rabbanā Aghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā Wa 'Isfanā Fī 'Amrinā Wa Thabbit 'Aqdāmanā Wa Anşurnā `Alá Al-Qawmi Al-Kāfirīna 003-147. And their saying was no other than that they said: Our Lord! forgive us our faults and our extravagance in our affair and make firm our feet and help us against the unbelieving people. ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‌‌ ‍ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍
Fa'ātāhumu Allāhu Thawāba Ad-Dunyā Wa Ĥusna Thawābi Al-'Ākhirati Wa ۗ Allāhu Yuĥibbu Al-Muĥsinīna 003-148. So Allah gave them the reward of this world and better reward of the hereafter and Allah loves those who do good (to others). ‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‍ ۗ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'In Tuţī`ū Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yaruddūkum `Alá 'A`qābikum Fatanqalibū Khāsirīna 003-149. O you who believe! if you obey those who disbelieve they will turn you back upon your heels, so you will turn back losers. ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Bali Allāhu Mawlākum ۖ Wa Huwa Khayru An-Nāşirīna 003-150. Nay! Allah is your Patron and He is the best of the helpers. ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍
Sanulqī Fī Qulūbi Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Ar-Ru`ba Bimā 'Ashrakū Billāhi Mā Lam Yunazzil Bihi Sulţānāan ۖ Wa Ma'wāhumu An-Nāru ۚ Wa Bi'sa Math Až-Žālimīna 003-151. We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no authority, and their abode is the fire, and evil is the abode of the unjust. ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍ۖ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍
Wa Laqad Şadaqakumu Allāhu Wa`dahu~ 'Idh Taĥussūnahum Bi'idhnihi ۖ Ĥattá 'Idhā Fashiltum Wa Tanāza`tum Al-'Amri Wa `Aşaytum Min Ba`di Mā 'Akum Mā Tuĥibbūna ۚ Minkum Man Yurīdu Ad-Dunyā Wa Minkum Man Yurīdu Al-'Ākhirata ۚ Thumma Şarafakum `Anhum Liyabtaliyakum ۖ Wa Laqad `Afā `Ankum Wa ۗ Allāhu Dhū Fađlin `Alá Al-Mu'uminīna 003-152. And certainly Allah made good to you His promise when you slew them by His permission, until when you became weak-hearted and disputed about the affair and disobeyed after He had shown you that which you loved; of you were some who desired this world and of you were some who desired the hereafter; then He turned you away from them that He might try you; and He has certainly pardoned you, and Allah is Gracious to the believers. ‍‍‍ ‌~ ‌‌‌ ‌‍ ۖ‌ ‌‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍ ۚ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍ ۚ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ۖ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍ۗ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌
'Idh Tuş`idūna Wa Lā Talwūna `Alá 'Aĥadin Wa Ar-Rasūlu Yad`ūkum Fī 'Ukhkum Fa'athābakum Ghammāan Bighammin Likaylā Taĥzanū `Alá Mā Fātakum Wa Lā Mā 'Aşābakum Wa ۗ Allāhu Khabīrun Bimā Ta`malūna 003-153. When you ran off precipitately and did not wait for any one, and the Apostle was calling you from your rear, so He gave you another sorrow instead of (your) sorrow, so that you might not grieve at what had escaped you, nor (at) what befell you; and Allah is aware of what you do. ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ۗ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌
Thumma 'Anzala `Alaykum Min Ba`di Al-Ghammi 'Amanatan Nu`āsāan Yaghshá Ţā'ifatan Minkum ۖ Wa Ţā'ifatun Qad 'Ahammat/hum 'Anfusuhum Yažunnūna Billāhi Ghayra Al-Ĥaqqi Žanna Al-Jāhilīyati ۖ Yaqūlūna Hal Lanā Mina Al-'Amri Min Shay'in ۗ Qul 'Inna Al-'Amra Kullahu Lillāh ۗ Yukhfūna Fī 'Anfusihim Mā Lā Yubdūna Laka ۖ Yaqūlūna Law Kāna Lanā Mina Al-'Amri Shay'unQutilnā Hāhunā ۗ Qul Law Kuntum Fī Buyūtikum Labaraza Al-Ladhīna Kutiba `Alayhimu Al-Qatlu 'Ilá Mađāji`ihim ۖ Wa Liyabtaliya Allāhu Mā Fī Şudūrikum Wa Liyumaĥĥişa Mā Fī Qulūbikum Wa ۗ Allāhu `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri 003-154. Then after sorrow He sent down security upon you, a calm coming upon a party of you, and (there was) another party whom their own souls had rendered anxious; they entertained about Allah thoughts of ignorance quite unjustly, saying: We have no hand in the affair. Say: Surely the affair is wholly (in the hands) of Allah. They conceal within their souls what they would not reveal to you. They say: Had we any hand in the affair, we would not have been slain here. Say: Had you remained in your houses, those for whom slaughter was ordained would certainly have gone forth to the places where they would be slain, and that Allah might test what was in your breasts and that He might purge what was in your hearts; and Allah knows what is in the breasts. ‌‌‍ ‍‌‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍ۖ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ۖ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ۗ ‍ ‌ ‌ ‍ ۗ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۖ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌ ۗ ‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ۖ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ۗ‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Tawallaw Minkum Yawma At-Taqá Al-Jam`āni 'Innamā Astazallahumu Ash-Shayţānu Biba`đi Mā Kasabū ۖ Wa Laqad `Afā Al-Lahu `Anhum ۗ 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Ĥalīmun 003-155. (As for) those of you who turned back on the day when the two armies met, only the Shaitan sought to cause them to make a slip on account of some deeds they had done, and certainly Allah has pardoned them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing. ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ۖ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍ۗ ‍‍‍‍‌‌
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Takūnū Kālladhīna Kafarū Wa Qālū Li'khwānihim 'Idhā Đarabū Fī Al-'Arđi 'Aw Kānū Ghuzzan Law Kānū `Indanā Mā Mātū Wa Mā Qutilū Liyaj`ala Allāhu Dhālika ĤasratanQulūbihim Wa ۗ Allāhu Yuĥyī Wa Yumītu Wa ۗ Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Başīrun 003-156. O you who believe! be not like those who disbelieve and say of their brethren when they travel in the earth or engage in fighting: Had they been with us, they would not have died and they would not have been slain; so Allah makes this to be an intense regret in their hearts; and Allah gives life and causes death and Allah sees what you do. ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌‌‌‌ ‌‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍ ۗ ‌‍‍‍‍ۗ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍
Wa La'in Qutiltum Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Aw Muttum Lamaghfiratun Mina Allāhi Wa Raĥmatun Khayrun Mimmā Yajma`ūna 003-157. And if you are slain in the way of Allah or you die, certainly forgiveness from Allah and mercy is better than what they amass. ‍‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍
Wa La'in Muttum 'Aw Qutiltum La'ilá Allāhi Tuĥsharūna 003-158. And if indeed you die or you are slain, certainly to Allah shall you be gathered together. ‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‍ ‌
Fabimā Raĥmatin Mina Allāhi Linta Lahum ۖ Wa Law Kunta Fažžāan Ghalīža Al-Qalbi Lānfađđū Min Ĥawlika ۖ Fā`fu `Anhum Wa Astaghfir Lahum Wa Shāwirhum Al-'Amri ۖ Fa'idhā `Azamta Fatawakkal `Alá Allāhi ۚ 'Inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Mutawakkilīna 003-159. Thus it is due to mercy from Allah that you deal with them gently, and had you been rough, hard hearted, they would certainly have dispersed from around you; pardon them therefore and ask pardon for them, and take counsel with them in the affair; so when you have decided, then place your trust in Allah; surely Allah loves those who trust. ‌ ‌‍‍ ‍‌‍‍ۖ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ۖ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍ ‍‍‌ ۖ ‌‌‌ ‌ ۚ
'In Yanşurkumu Allāhu Falā Ghāliba Lakum ۖ Wa 'In Yakhdhulkum Faman Dhā Al-Ladhī Yanşurukum Min Ba`dihi ۗ Wa `Alá Allāhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu'uminūna 003-160. If Allah assists you, then there is none that can overcome you, and if He forsakes you, who is there then that can assist you after Him? And on Allah should the believers rely. ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ۖ ‌‌‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ۗ ‌‌
Wa Mā Kāna Linabīyin 'An Yaghulla ۚ Wa Man Yaghlul Ya'ti Bimā Ghalla Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۚ Thumma Tuwaffá Kullu Nafsin Mā Kasabat Wa Hum Lā Yužlamūna 003-161. And it is not attributable to a prophet that he should act unfaithfully; and he who acts unfaithfully shall bring that in respect of which he has acted unfaithfully on the day of resurrection; then shall every soul be paid back fully what it has earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍ۚ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍ ‍ ‍‍ۚ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍
'Afamani Attaba`a Riđwāna Allāhi Kaman Bā'a Bisakhaţin Mina Allāhi Wa Ma'wāhu Jahannamu ۚ Wa Bi'sa Al-Maşīru 003-162. Is then he who follows the pleasure of Allah like him who has made himself deserving of displeasure from Allah, and his abode is hell; and it is an evil destination. ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‌‍‍ۚ‍‍
Hum Darajātun `Inda Allāhi Wa ۗ Allāhu Başīrun Bimā Ya`malūna 003-163. There are (varying) grades with Allah, and Allah sees what they do. ‌‌‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ۗ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌
Laqad Manna Allāhu `Alá Al-Mu'uminīna 'Idh Ba`atha Fīhim Rasūlāan Min 'Anfusihim Yatlū `Alayhim 'Āyātihi Wa Yuzakkīhim Wa Yu`allimuhumu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa 'In Kānū Min Qablu Lafī Đalālin Mubīnin 003-164. Certainly Allah conferred a benefit upon the believers when He raised among them an Apostle from among themselves, reciting to them His communications and purifying them, and teaching them the Book and the wisdom, although before that they were surely in manifest error. ‌ ‍ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‍
'Awalammā 'Aşābatkum Muşībatun Qad 'Aşabtum Mithlayhā Qultum 'Anná Hādhā ۖ Qul Huwa Min `Indi 'Anfusikum ۗ 'Inna Allāha `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun 003-165. What! when a misfortune befell you, and you had certainly afflicted (the unbelievers) with twice as much, you began to say: Whence is this? Say: It is from yourselves; surely Allah has power over all things. ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ۖ ‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ۗ ‍ ‌ ‍
Wa Mā 'Aşābakum Yawma At-Taqá Al-Jam`āni Fabi'idhni Allāhi Wa Liya`lama Al-Mu'uminīna 003-166. And what befell you on the day when the two armies met (at Ohud) was with Allah's knowledge, and that He might know the believers. ‌ ‌‍‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌
Wa Liya`lama Al-Ladhīna Nāfaqū ۚ Wa Qīla Lahum Ta`ālaw Qātilū Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Aw Adfa`ū ۖ Qālū Law Na`lamu Qitālāan Lāttaba`nākum ۗ Hum Lilkufri Yawma'idhin 'Aqrabu Minhum Lil'īmāni ۚ Yaqūlūna Bi'afwhihim Mā Laysa Fī Qulūbihim Wa ۗ Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Yaktumūna 003-167. And that He might know the hypocrites; and it was said to them: Come, fight in Allah's way, or defend yourselves. They said: If we knew fighting, we would certainly have followed you. They were on that day much nearer to unbelief than to belief. They say with their mouths what is not in their hearts, and Allah best knows what they conceal. ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ۚ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ۖ ‌ ‌ ۗ‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ۚ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍ۗ ‌ ‌
Al-Ladhīna Qālū Li'khwānihim Wa Qa`adū Law 'Aţā`ūnā Mā Qutilū ۗ Qul Fādra'ū `An 'Anfusikumu Al-Mawta 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna 003-168. Those who said of their brethren whilst they (themselves) held back: Had they obeyed us, they would not have been killed. Say: Then avert death from yourselves if you speak the truth. ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌ ۗ ‌‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌
Wa Lā Taĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Qutilū Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Amwātāan ۚ Bal 'Aĥyā'un `Inda Rabbihim Yurzaqūna 003-169. And reckon not those who are killed in Allah's way as dead; nay, they are alive (and) are provided sustenance from their Lord; ‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ۚ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍
Farīna Bimā 'Ātāhumu Allāhu Min Fađlihi Wa Yastabshirūna Bial-Ladhīna Lam Yalĥaqū Bihim Min Khalfihim 'Allā Khawfun `Alayhim Wa Lā Hum Yaĥzanūna 003-170. Rejoicing in what Allah has given them out of His grace and they rejoice for the sake of those who, (being left) behind them, have not yet joined them, that they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve. ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‌‌
Yastabshirūna Bini`matin Mina Allāhi Wa Fađlin Wa 'Anna Allāha Lā Yuđī`u 'Ajra Al-Mu'uminīna 003-171. They rejoice on account of favor from Allah and (His) grace, and that Allah will not waste the reward of the believers. ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍
Al-Ladhīna Astajābū Lillāh Wa Ar-Rasūli Min Ba`di Mā 'Aşābahumu Al-Qarĥu ۚ Lilladhīna 'Aĥsanū Minhum Wa Attaqaw 'Ajrun `Ažīmun 003-172. (As for) those who responded (at Ohud) to the call of Allah and the Apostle after the wound had befallen them, those among them who do good (to others) and guard (against evil)shall have a great reward. ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ۚ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍
Al-Ladhīna Qāla Lahumu An-Nāsu 'Inna An-Nāsa Qad Jama`ū Lakumkhshawhum Fazādahum 'Īmānāan Wa Qālū Ĥasbunā Al-Lahu Wa Ni`ma Al-Wakīlu 003-173. Those to whom the people said: Surely men have gathered against you, therefore fear them, but this increased their faith, and they said: Allah is sufficient for us and most excellent is the Protector. ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌
nqalabū Bini`matin Mina Allāhi Wa Fađlin Lam Yamsas/hum Sū'un Wa Attaba`ū Riđwāna Allāhi Wa ۗ Allāhu Dhū Fađlin `Ažīmin 003-174. So they returned with favor from Allah and (His) grace, no evil touched them and they followed the pleasure of Allah; and Allah is the Lord of mighty grace. ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ۗ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍
'Innamā Dhalikumu Ash-Shayţānu Yukhawwifu 'Awliyā'ahu Falā Takhāfūhum Wa Khāfūni 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna 003-175. It is only the Shaitan that causes you to fear from his friends, but do not fear them, and fear Me if you are believers. ‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍
Wa Lā Yaĥzunka Al-Ladhīna Yusāri`ūna Fī Al-Kufri ۚ 'Innahum Lan Yađurrū Allaha Shay'āan ۗ Yurīdu Allāhu 'Allā Yaj`ala Lahum Ĥažžāan Al-'Ākhirati ۖ Wa Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun 003-176. And let not those grieve you who fall into unbelief hastily; surely they can do no harm to Allah at all; Allah intends that He should not give them any portion in the hereafter, and they shall have a grievous chastisement. ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‌ ۚ‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌‍ ‍‍‍ۗ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ ۖ‍‍‌‍‍
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Ashtaraw Al-Kufra Bil-'Īmāni Lan Yađurrū Allaha Shay'āan Wa Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun 003-177. Surely those who have bought unbelief at the price of faith shall do no harm at all to Allah, and they shall have a painful chastisement. ‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‌
Wa Lā Yaĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Annamā Numlī Lahum Khayrun Li'anfusihim ۚ 'Innamā Numlī Lahum Liyazdādū 'Ithmāan ۚ Wa Lahum `Adhābun Muhīnun 003-178. And let not those who disbelieve think that Our granting them respite is better for their souls; We grant them respite only that they may add to their sins; and they shall have a disgraceful chastisement. ‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‌ۚ‍‌ ‌‌‌‌ ‌ۚ‍‍‌
Mā Kāna Allāhu Liyadhara Al-Mu'uminīna `Alá Mā 'Antum `Alayhi Ĥattá Yamīza Al-Khabītha Mina Aţ-Ţayyibi ۗ Wa Mā Kāna Allāhu Liyuţli`akum `Alá Al-Ghaybi Wa Lakinna Allāha Yajtabī Min Rusulihi Man Yashā'u ۖ Fa'āminū Billāhi Wa Rusulihi ۚ Wa 'In Tu'uminū Wa Tattaqū Falakum 'Ajrun `Ažīmun 003-179. On no account will Allah leave the believers in the condition which you are in until He separates the evil from the good; nor is Allah going to make you acquainted with the unseen, but Allah chooses of His apostles whom He pleases; therefore believe in Allah and His apostles; and if you believe and guard (against evil), then you shall have a great reward. ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ۗ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍ ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ۖ ‌ ‍‍ ‌‌‍ ۚ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Lā Yaĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Yabkhalūna Bimā 'Ātāhumu Allāhu Min Fađlihi Huwa Khayan Lahum ۖ Bal Huwa Sharrun Lahum ۖ Sayuţawwaqūna Mā Bakhilū Bihi Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۗ Wa Lillāh Mīrāthu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa ۗ Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Khabīrun 003-180. And let not those deem, who are niggardly in giving away that which Allah has granted them out of His grace, that it is good for them; nay, it is worse for them; they shall have that whereof they were niggardly made to cleave to their necks on the resurrection day; and Allah's is the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is aware of what you do. ‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ۖۖ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‍‍ۗ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ۗ ‌ ‍‍‍
Laqad Sami`a Allāhu Qawla Al-Ladhīna Qālū 'Inna Allāha Faqīrun Wa Naĥnu 'Aghniyā'u ۘ Sanaktubu Mā Qālū Wa Qatlahumu Al-'Anbiyā'a Bighayri Ĥaqqin Wa Naqūlu Dhūqū `Adhāba Al-Ĥarīqi 003-181. Allah has certainly heard the saying of those who said: Surely Allah is poor and we are rich. I will record what they say, and their killing the prophets unjustly, and I will say: Taste the chastisement of burning. ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ۘ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‌
Dhālika Bimā Qaddamat 'Aydīkum Wa 'Anna Allāha Laysa Bižallāmin Lil`abīdi 003-182. This is for what your own hands have sent before and because Allah is not in the least unjust to the servants. ‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍
Al-Ladhīna Qālū 'Inna Allāha `Ahida 'Ilaynā 'Allā Nu'umina Lirasūlin Ĥattá Ya'tiyanā Biqurbānin Ta'kuluhu An-Nāru ۗ Qul Qad Jā'akum Rusulun Min Qablī Bil-Bayyināti Wa Bial-Ladhī Qultum Falima Qataltumūhum 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna 003-183. (Those are they) who said: Surely Allah has enjoined us that we should not believe in any apostle until he brings us an offering which the fire consumes. Say: Indeed, there came to you apostles before me with clear arguments and with that which you demand; why then did you kill them if you are truthful? ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍ ‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ۗ ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌
Fa'in Kadhdhabūka Faqad Kudhdhiba Rusulun Min Qablika Jā'ū Bil-Bayyināti Wa Az-Zuburi Wa Al-Kitābi Al-Munīri 003-184. But if they reject you, so indeed were rejected before you apostles who came with clear arguments and scriptures and the illuminating book. ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍
Kullu Nafsin Dhā'iqatu Al-Mawti ۗ Wa 'Innamā Tuwaffawna 'Ujūrakum Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۖ Faman Zuĥziĥa `Ani An-Nāri Wa 'Udkhila Al-Jannata Faqad Fāza ۗ Wa Mā Al-Ĥayāatu Ad-Dunyā 'Illā Matā`u Al-Ghurūri 003-185. Every soul shall taste of death, and you shall only be paid fully your reward on the resurrection day; then whoever is removed far away from the fire and is made to enter the garden he indeed has attained the object; and the life of this world is nothing but a provision of vanities. ‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍ ۗ ‌‌‍‌ ‍ ‌‌‍ ‍‍ۖ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ۗ ‌‌ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌
Latublawunna Fī 'Amwālikum Wa 'Anfusikum Wa Latasma`unna Mina Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba Min Qablikum Wa Mina Al-Ladhīna 'Ashrakū 'Adhan Kathīrāan ۚ Wa 'In Taşbirū Wa Tattaqū Fa'inna Dhālika Min `Azmi Al-'Umūri 003-186. You shall certainly be tried respecting your wealth and your souls, and you shall certainly hear from those who have been given the Book before you and from those who are polytheists much annoying talk; and if you are patient and guard (against evil), surely this is one of the affairs (which should be) determined upon. ‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‌‍ ‌‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‌‌‌ ‍ۚ ‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌
Wa 'Idh 'Akhadha Allāhu Mīthāqa Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba Latubayyinunnahu Lilnnāsi Wa Lā Taktumūnahu Fanabadhūhu Warā'a Žuhūrihim Wa Ashtaraw Bihi Thamanāan Qalīlāan ۖ Fabi'sa Mā Yashtarūna 003-187. And when Allah made a covenant with those who were given the Book: You shall certainly make it known to men and you shall not hide it; but they cast it behind their backs and took a small price for it; so evil is that which they buy. ‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍ ‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‌‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‌ۖ ‌ ‌
Lā Taĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Yafraĥūna Bimā 'Ataw Wa Yuĥibbūna 'An Yuĥmadū Bimā Lam Yaf`alū Falā Taĥsabannahum Bimafāzatin Mina Al-`Adhābi ۖ Wa Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun 003-188. Do not think those who rejoice for what they have done and love that they should be praised for what they have not done-- so do by no means think them to be safe from the chastisement, and they shall have a painful chastisement. ‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‌ ۖ‍‍‌
Wa Lillāh Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa ۗ Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun 003-189. And Allah's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and Allah has power over all things. ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ۗ ‌ ‍
'Inna Fī Khalqi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Akhtilāfi Al-Layli Wa An-Nahāri La'āyātin Li'wlī Al-'Albābi 003-190. Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day there are signs for men who understand. ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌
Al-Ladhīna Yadhkurūna Allāha Qiyāmāan Wa Qu`ūdāan Wa `Alá Junūbihim Wa Yatafakkarūna Fī Khalqi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Rabbanā Mā Khalaqta Hādhā Bāţilāan Subĥānaka Faqinā `Adhāba An-Nāri 003-191. Those who remember Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: Our Lord! Thou hast not created this in vain! Glory be to Thee; save us then from the chastisement of the fire: ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‍
Rabbanā 'Innaka Man Tudkhili An-Nāra Faqad 'Akhzaytahu ۖ Wa Mā Lilžžālimīna Min 'Anşārin 003-192. Our Lord! surely whomsoever Thou makest enter the fire, him Thou hast indeed brought to disgrace, and there shall be no helpers for the unjust: ‌ ‌‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌
Rabbanā 'Innanā Sami`nā Munādīāan Yunādī Lil'īmāni 'An 'Āminū Birabbikum Fa'āmannā ۚ Rabbanā Fāghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā Wa Kaffir `Annā Sayyi'ātinā Wa Tawaffanā Ma`a Al-'Abrāri 003-193. Our Lord! surely we have heard a preacher calling to the faith, saying: Believe in your Lord, so we did believe; Our Lord! forgive us therefore our faults, and cover our evil deeds and make us die with the righteous. ‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍
Rabbanā Wa 'Ātinā Mā Wa`adtanā `Alá Rusulika Wa Lā Tukhzinā Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۗ 'Innaka Lā Tukhlifu Al-Mī`āda 003-194. Our Lord! and grant us what Thou hast promised us by Thy apostles; and disgrace us not on the day of resurrection; surely Thou dost not fail to perform the promise. ‌ ‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‍‍ۗ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍
Fāstajāba Lahum Rabbuhum 'Annī Lā 'Uđī`u `Amala `Āmilin Minkum Min Dhakarin 'Aw 'Unthá ۖ Ba`đukum Min Ba`đin ۖ Fa-Al-Ladhīna Hājarū Wa 'Ukhrijū Min Diyārihim Wa 'Ūdhū Fī Sabīlī Wa Qātalū Wa Qutilū La'ukaffiranna `Anhum Sayyi'ātihim Wa La'udkhilannahum Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Thawābāan Min `Indi Allāhi Wa ۗ Allāhu `Indahu Ĥusnu Ath-Thawābi 003-195. So their Lord accepted their prayer: That I will not waste the work of a worker among you, whether male or female, the one of you being from the other; they, therefore, who fled and were turned out of their homes and persecuted in My way and who fought and were slain, I will most certainly cover their evil deeds, and I will most certainly make them enter gardens beneath which rivers flow; a reward from Allah, and with Allah is yet better reward. ‍‍ ‌‍‍ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌‍‌ ۖ‍‍‍ ‍‌ۖ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍‌ ‍ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ۗ ‍‌‍‍ ‍‌
Lā Yaghurrannaka Taqallubu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Fī Al-Bilādi 003-196. Let it not deceive you that those who disbelieve go to and fro in the cities fearlessly. ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌
Matā`un Qalīlun Thumma Ma'wāhum Jahannamu ۚ Wa Bi'sa Al-Mihādu 003-197. A brief enjoyment! then their abode is hell, and evil is the resting-place. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ۚ
Lakini Al-Ladhīna Attaqaw Rabbahum Lahum Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Nuzulāan Min `Indi Allāhi ۗ Wa Mā `Inda Allāhi Khayrun Lil'abrāri 003-198. But as to those who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding in them; an entertainment from their Lord, and that which is with Allah is best for the righteous. ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ۗ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍
Wa 'Inna Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi Laman Yu'uminu Billāhi Wa Mā 'Unzila 'Ilaykum Wa Mā 'Unzila 'Ilayhim Khāshi`īna Lillāh Lā Yashtarūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Thamanāan Qalīlāan ۗ 'Ūlā'ika Lahum 'Ajruhum `Inda Rabbihim ۗ 'Inna Allāha Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi 003-199. And most surely of the followers of the Book there are those who believe in Allah and (in) that which has been revealed to you and (in) that which has been revealed to them, being lowly before Allah; they do not take a small price for the communications of Allah; these it is that have their reward with their Lord; surely Allah is quick in reckoning. ‍‌‍‍ ‍‌‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍ ‍ ‌‍‌ ۗ‍‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ۗ ‍ ‍‍‍‍
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Aşbirū Wa Şābirū Wa biţū Wa Attaqū Allaha La`allakum Tufliĥūna 003-200. O you who believe! be patient and excel in patience and remain steadfast, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, that you may be successful. ‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‌‌ ‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍
