| 'Alam Tará Kayfa Fa`ala Rabbuka Bi'aşĥābi Al-Fīl | 105.001 Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant ? | أَلَمْ تَرَى كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيل |
| 'Alam Yaj`al Kaydahum Fī Tađlīlin | 105.002 Did He not bring their stratagem to naught, | أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيل ٍ |
| Wa 'Arsala `Alayhim Ţayrāan 'Abābīla | 105.003 And send against them swarms of flying creatures, | وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْراً أَبَابِيلَ |
| Tarmīhim Biĥijāratin Min Sijjīlin | 105.004 Which pelted them with stones of baked clay, | تَرْمِيهِمْ بِحِجَارَة ٍ مِنْ سِجِّيل ٍ |
| Faja`alahum Ka`aşfin Ma'kūlin | 105.005 And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle) ? | فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْف ٍ مَأْكُول ٍ |
