| Wa At-Tīni Wa Az-Zaytūni | 095.001 By the fig and the olive, | وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ |
| Wa Ţūri Sīnīna | 095.002 By Mount Sinai, | وَطُورِ سِينِينَ |
| Wa Hadhā Al-Baladi Al-'Amīni | 095.003 And by this land made safe; | وَهَذَا الْبَلَدِ الأَمِينِ |
| Laqad Khalaqnā Al-'Insāna Fī 'Aĥsani Taqwīmin | 095.004 Surely We created man of the best stature | لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيم ٍ |
| Thumma Radadnāhu 'Asfala Sāfilīna | 095.005 Then we reduced him to the lowest of the low, | ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ~ُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ |
| 'Illā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Falahum 'Ajrun Ghayru Mamnūnin | 095.006 Save those who believe and do good works, and theirs is a reward unfailing. | إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُون ٍ |
| Famā Yukadhdhibuka Ba`du Bid-Dīni | 095.007 So who henceforth will give the lie to thee about the judgment ? | فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ |
| 'Alaysa Allāhu Bi'aĥkami Al-Ĥākimīna | 095.008 Is not Allah the most conclusive of all judges ? | أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ |
