Tabāra ka A l-Ladh ī Biyadihi A l-Mulku Wa Huwa `Alá Kulli Sh ay 'in Q adī r un (Al-Mulk: 1).
067.001 Blessed is He in Whose hand is the Sovereignty, and, He is Able to do all things.
تَبَارَ كَ ا لَّذِي بِيَدِهِ ا لْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْ ءٍ قَ دِيرٌ
Al-Ladh ī Kh q a A l-Maw ta Wa A l-Ĥayāata Liyab luwakum 'Ayyukum 'Aĥsanu `Amalāan ۚ Wa Huwa A l-`Azī zu A l-Gh ū ru (Al-Mulk: 2).
067.002 Who hath created life and death that He may try you which of you is best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving,
ا لَّذِي خَ لَقَ ا لْمَوْ تَ وَا لْحَيَا ةَ لِيَبْ لُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلاً ۚ وَهُوَ ا لْعَزِي زُ ا لْغَ فُورُ
Al-Ladh ī Kh q a Sab `a Samāwā tin Ţ ibāq āan ۖ Mā Tará Fī Kh q i A r-Ra ĥmani Min Tafāwutin ۖ Fārji`i A l-Baş ara Hal Tará Min Fuţ ū r in (Al-Mulk: 3).
067.003 Who hath created seven heavens in harmony. Thou (Muhammad) canst see no fault in the Beneficent One's creation; then look again: Canst thou see any rifts ?
ا لَّذِي خَ لَقَ سَبْ عَ سَمَاوَا تٍ طِ بَاق اً ۖ مَا تَرَ ى فِي خَ لْقِ ا ل رَّ حْمَنِ مِن ْ تَفَاوُتٍ ۖ فَارْجِعِ ا لْبَصَ رَ هَلْ تَرَ ى مِن ْ فُطُ ورٍ
Th umm a A A l-Baş ara Karra tay ni Yan q alib 'Ilay ka A l-Baş aru Kh ā an Wa Huwa Ĥasī r un (Al-Mulk: 4).
067.004 Then look again and yet again, thy sight will return unto thee weakened and made dim.
ثُمّ َ ا ا لْبَصَ رَ كَرَّ تَيْ نِ يَن قَ لِب ْ إِلَيْ كَ ا لْبَصَ رُ خَ اسِئاً وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌ
Wa Laq ad Zayyann ā A s-Samā 'a A d-Dun yā Bimaş ābī ĥa Wa Ja`alnāhā Ru jūmāan Lilsh sh ayāţ ī ni ۖ Wa 'A`tad nā Lahum `Adh ā ba A s-Sa`ī r i (Al-Mulk: 5).
067.005 And verily We have beautified the world's heaven with lamps, and We have made them missiles for the devils, and for them We have prepared the doom of flame.
وَلَقَ دْ زَيَّنَّ ا ا ل سَّمَا ءَ ا ل دُّنْ يَا بِمَصَ ابِي حَ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا رُجُوماً لِلشَّيَاطِ ي نِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْ نَا لَهُمْ عَذَا بَ ا ل سَّعِيرِ
Wa Lilladh ī na Kafarū Bira bbihim `Adh ā bu Jahann ama ۖ Wa Bi'sa A l-Maş ī r u (Al-Mulk: 6).
067.006 And for those who disbelieve in their Lord there is the doom of hell, a hapless journey's end!
وَلِلَّذِي نَ كَفَرُوا بِرَ بِّهِمْ عَذَا بُ جَهَنَّ مَ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ا لْمَصِ يرُ
'Idh ā 'Ulq ū Fīhā Sami`ū Lahā Sh ahīq āan Wa Hiya Tafū ru (Al-Mulk: 7).
067.007 When they are flung therein they hear its roaring as it boileth up,
إِذَا أُلْقُ وا فِيهَا سَمِعُوا لَهَا شَهِيق اً وَهِيَ تَفُورُ
Takā du Tamayyazu Mina A l-Gh y& 2i ۖ Kullamā 'Ulq iya Fīhā Faw jun Sa'alahum Kh ā 'Alam Ya'tikum Nadh ī r un (Al-Mulk: 8).
067.008 As it would burst with rage. Whenever a (fresh) host is flung therein the wardens thereof ask them: Came there unto you no warner ?
تَكَا دُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ ا لْغَ يْ ظِ ۖ كُلَّمَا أُلْقِ يَ فِيهَا فَوْ جٌ سَأَلَهُمْ خَ زَنَتُهَا أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌ
Q ālū Balá Q ad Jā 'anā Nadh ī r un Fakadh dh ab nā Wa Q ulnā Mā Nazzala A ll āhu Min Sh ay 'in 'In 'An tum 'Illā Fī Đ alā lin Kabī r in (Al-Mulk: 9).
067.009 They say: Yea, verily, a warner came unto us; but we denied and said: Allah hath naught revealed; ye are in naught but a great error.
قَ الُوا بَلَى قَ دْ جَا ءَنَا نَذِي رٌ فَكَذَّبْ نَا وَقُ لْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ا للَّ هُ مِن ْ شَيْ ءٍ إِن ْ أَنْ تُمْ إِلاَّ فِي ضَ لاَلٍ كَبِير ٍ
Wa Q ālū Law Kunn ā Nasma`u 'Aw Na`q ilu Mā Kunn ā Fī 'Aş ĥā bi A s-Sa`ī r i (Al-Mulk: 10).
067.010 And they say: Had we been wont to listen or have sense, we had not been among the dwellers in the flames.
وَقَ الُوا لَوْ كُنَّ ا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِ لُ مَا كُنَّ ا فِي أَصْ حَا بِ ا ل سَّعِيرِ
Fā`tara fū Bidh an bihim Fasuĥq āan Li'ş ĥā bi A s-Sa`ī r i (Al-Mulk: 11).
067.011 So they acknowledge their sins; but far removed (from mercy) are the dwellers in the flames.
فَاعْتَرَ فُوا بِذَنْ بِهِمْ فَسُحْق اً لِأصْ حَا بِ ا ل سَّعِيرِ
'Inn a A l-Ladh ī na Yakh sh aw na Ra bbahum Bil-Gh y bi Lahum Magh ra tun Wa 'Aj ru n Kabī r un (Al-Mulk: 12).
067.012 Lo! those who fear their Lord in secret, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward.
إِنّ َ ا لَّذِي نَ يَخْ شَوْ نَ رَ بَّهُمْ بِا لْغَ يْ بِ لَهُمْ مَغْ فِرَ ةٌ وَأَجْ رٌ كَبِيرٌ
Wa 'Asir rū Q awlakum 'Aw A j harū Bihi ۖ 'Inn ahu `Alī mun Bidh ā ti A ş -Ş udū r i (Al-Mulk: 13).
067.013 And keep your opinion secret or proclaim it, lo! He is Knower of all that is in the breasts (of men).
وَأَسِر ُّوا قَ وْلَكُمْ أَوْ ا جْ هَرُوا بِهِ ۖ إِنَّ هُ عَلِي مٌ بِذَا تِ ا ل صُّ دُورِ
'Alā Ya`lamu Man Kh q a Wa Huwa A l-Laţ ī fu A l-Kh ī r u (Al-Mulk: 14).
067.014 Should He not know what He created ? And He is the Subtile, the Aware.
أَلاَ يَعْلَمُ مَن ْ خَ لَقَ وَهُوَ ا ل لَّطِ ي فُ ا لْخَ بِيرُ
Huwa A l-Ladh ī Ja`ala Lakumu A l-'Arđa Dh alūlāan Fām sh ū Fī Manākibihā Wa Kulū Min R izq ihi ۖ Wa 'Ilay hi A n -Nush ū ru (Al-Mulk: 15).
067.015 He it is Who hath made the earth subservient unto you, so Walk in the paths thereof and eat of His providence. And unto Him will be the resurrection (of the dead).
هُوَ ا لَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ا لأَرْضَ ذَلُولاً فَامْشُوا فِي مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا مِن ْ رِ زْقِ هِ ۖ وَإِلَيْ هِ ا ل نُّ شُورُ
'A'amin tum Man Fī A s-Samā 'i 'An Yakh A l-'Arđa Fa'idh ā Hiya Tamū ru (Al-Mulk: 16).
067.016 Have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not cause the earth to swallow you when lo! it is convulsed ?
أَأَمِن تُمْ مَن ْ فِي ا ل سَّمَا ءِ أَن ْ يَخْ سِفَ بِكُمُ ا لأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ
'Am 'Amin tum Man Fī A s-Samā 'i 'An Yursila `Alaykum Ĥāş ibāan ۖ Fasata`lamū na Kay fa Nadh ī r i (Al-Mulk: 17).
067.017 Or have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not let loose on you a hurricane ? But ye shall know the manner of My warning.
أَمْ أَمِن تُمْ مَن ْ فِي ا ل سَّمَا ءِ أَن ْ يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِ باً ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُو نَ كَيْ فَ نَذِيرِ
Wa Laq ad Kadh dh aba A l-Ladh ī na Min Q ab lihim Fakay fa Kā na Nakī r i (Al-Mulk: 18).
067.018 And verily those before them denied, then (see) the manner of My wrath (with them)!
وَلَقَ دْ كَذَّبَ ا لَّذِي نَ مِن ْ قَ بْ لِهِمْ فَكَيْ فَ كَا نَ نَكِيرِ
'Awalam Yara wā 'Ilá A ţ -Ţ ay r i Fawq ahum Ş ā ffā tin Wa Yaq ۚ Mā Yum sikuhunn a 'Illā A r-Ra ĥmā nu ۚ 'Inn ahu Bikulli Sh ay 'in Baş ī r un (Al-Mulk: 19).
067.019 Have they not seen the birds above them spreading out their wings and closing them ? Naught upholdeth them save the Beneficent. Lo! He is Seer of all things.
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ وْا إِلَى ا ل طَّ يْ رِ فَوْقَ هُمْ صَ ا فَّا تٍ وَيَقْ بِضْ نَ ۚ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنّ َ إِلاَّ ا ل رَّ حْمَنُ ۚ إِنَّ هُ بِكُلِّ شَيْ ءٍ بَصِ يرٌ
'Amm an Hādh ā A l-Ladh ī Huwa Jun dun Lakum Yan ş uru kum Min Dū ni A r-Ra ĥmani ۚ 'Ini A l-Kāfirū na 'Illā Fī Gh ū r in (Al-Mulk: 20).
067.020 Or who is he that will be an army unto you to help you instead of the Beneficent ? The disbelievers are in naught but illusion.
أَمَّ ن ْ هَذَا ا لَّذِي هُوَ جُن دٌ لَكُمْ يَن صُ رُكُمْ مِن ْ دُو نِ ا ل رَّ حْمَنِ ۚ إِنِ ا لْكَافِرُو نَ إِلاَّ فِي غُ رُورٍ
'Amm an Hādh ā A l-Ladh ī Yarzuq ukum 'In 'Am saka R izq ahu ۚ Bal Lajjū Fī `Utū win Wa Nufū r in (Al-Mulk: 21).
067.021 Or who is he that will provide for you if He should withhold His providence ? Nay, but they are set in pride and frowardness.
أَمَّ ن ْ هَذَا ا لَّذِي يَرْزُقُ كُمْ إِن ْ أَمْسَكَ رِ زْقَ هُ ۚ بَلْ لَجُّوا فِي عُتُوٍّ وَنُفُورٍ
'Afaman Yam sh ī Mukibbāan `Alá Waj hihi 'Ahdá 'Amm an Yam sh ī Sawīy 7an `Alá Ş irā ţ in Mustaq ī min (Al-Mulk: 22).
067.022 Is he who goeth groping on his face more rightly guided, or he who walketh upright on a straight road ?
أَفَمَن ْ يَمْشِي مُكِبّاً عَلَى وَجْ هِهِ أَهْدَى أَمَّ ن ْ يَمْشِي سَوِيّاً عَلَى صِ رَ ا ط ٍ مُسْتَقِ يمٍ
Q ul Huwa A l-Ladh ī 'An sh a'akum Wa Ja`ala Lakumu A s-Sam `a Wa A l-'Ab ş ā ra Wa A l-'Af'idata ۖ Q alīlāan Mā Tash kurū na (Al-Mulk: 23).
067.023 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): He it is who gave you being, and hath assigned unto you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye!
قُ لْ هُوَ ا لَّذِي أَن شَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ا ل سَّمْعَ وَا لأَبْ صَ ا رَ وَا لأَفْئِدَةَ ۖ قَ لِيلاً مَا تَشْكُرُونَ
Q ul Huwa A l-Ladh ī Dh ara 'akum Fī A l-'Arđi Wa 'Ilay hi Tuĥsh arū na (Al-Mulk: 24).
067.024 Say: He it is Who multiplieth you in the earth, and unto Whom ye will be gathered.
قُ لْ هُوَ ا لَّذِي ذَرَ أَكُمْ فِي ا لأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْ هِ تُحْشَرُونَ
Wa Yaq ūlū na Matá Hādh ā A l-Wa`du 'In Kun tum Ş ādiq ī na (Al-Mulk: 25).
067.025 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful ?
وَيَقُ ولُو نَ مَتَى هَذَا ا لْوَعْدُ إِن ْ كُن تُمْ صَ ادِقِ ينَ
Q ul 'Inn amā A l-`Ilmu `In da A ll āhi Wa 'Inn amā 'Anā Nadh ī r un Mubī nun (Al-Mulk: 26).
067.026 Say: The knowledge is with Allah only, and I am but a plain warner;
قُ لْ إِنَّ مَا ا لْعِلْمُ عِنْ دَ ا للَّ هِ وَإِنَّ مَا أَنَا نَذِي رٌ مُبِينٌ
Falamm ā Ra 'aw hu Zulfatan Sī 'at Wujū hu A l-Ladh ī na Kafarū Wa Q ī la Hādh ā A l-Ladh ī Kun tum Bihi Tadda`ū na (Al-Mulk: 27).
067.027 But when they see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve will be awry, and it will be said (unto them): This is that for which ye used to call.
فَلَمَّ ا رَ أَوْ هُ زُلْفَةً سِي ئَتْ وُجُو هُ ا لَّذِي نَ كَفَرُوا وَقِ ي لَ هَذَا ا لَّذِي كُن تُمْ بِهِ تَدَّعُونَ
Q ul 'Ara 'aytum 'In 'Ahlakaniya A ll āhu Wa Man Ma`iya 'Aw Ra ĥimanā Faman Yujī r u A l-Kāfir ī na Min `Adh ā bin 'Alī min (Al-Mulk: 28).
067.028 Say (O Muhammad): Have ye thought: Whether Allah causeth me (Muhammad) and those with me to perish or hath mercy on us, still, who will protect the disbelievers from a painful doom ?
قُ لْ أَرَ أَيْتُمْ إِن ْ أَهْلَكَنِيَ ا للَّ هُ وَمَن ْ مَعِيَ أَوْ رَ حِمَنَا فَمَن ْ يُجِي ر ُا لْكَافِر ِي نَ مِن ْ عَذَا بٍ أَلِيمٍ
Q ul Huwa A r-Ra ĥmā nu 'Āmann ā Bihi Wa `Alay hi Tawakkalnā ۖ Fasata`lamū na Man Huwa Fī Đ alā lin Mubī nin (Al-Mulk: 29).
067.029 Say: He is the Beneficent. In Him we believe and in Him we put our trust. And ye will soon know who it is that is in error manifest.
قُ لْ هُوَ ا ل رَّ حْمَنُ آمَنَّ ا بِهِ وَعَلَيْ هِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُو نَ مَن ْ هُوَ فِي ضَ لاَلٍ مُبِينٍ
Q ul 'Ara 'aytum 'In 'Aş baĥa Mā 'uukum Gh rā an Faman Ya'tīkum Bimā 'in Ma`ī nin (Al-Mulk: 30).
067.030 Say: Have ye thought: If (all) your water were to disappear into the earth, who then could bring you gushing water ?
قُ لْ أَرَ أَيْتُمْ إِن ْ أَصْ بَحَ مَا ؤُكُمْ غَ وْراً فَمَن ْ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِمَا ءٍ مَعِينٍ
