'Idhā Jā'aka Al-Munāfiqūna Qālū Nash/hadu 'Innaka Larasūlu Allāhi ۗ Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu 'Innaka Larasūluhu Wa Allāhu Yash/hadu 'Inna Al-Munāfiqīna Lakādhibūna (Al-Munāfiqūn: 1). 063.001 When the hypocrites come unto thee (O Muhammad), they say: We bear witness that thou art indeed Allah's messenger. And Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the hypocrites indeed are speaking falsely. إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَكَ ‌الْمُنَافِ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍‍ونَ قَ‍‍الُوا نَشْهَدُ إِنَّ‍‍كَ لَ‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۗ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ لَ‍رَسُولُهُ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنّ‌َ ‌الْمُنَافِ‍‍قِ‍‍‍ي‍‍نَ لَكَا‌ذِبُونَ
Attakhadhū 'Aymānahum Junnatan Faşaddū `An Sabīli Allāhi ۚ 'Innahum Sā'a Mā Kānū Ya`malūna (Al-Munāfiqūn: 2). 063.002 They make their faith a pretext so that they may turn (men) from the way of Allah. Verily evil is that which they are wont to do, اتَّ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍ذُ‌وا ‌أَيْمَانَهُمْ جُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةً فَ‍‍صَ‍‍دُّ‌وا عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ س‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ مَا‌ كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Dhālika Bi'annahum 'Āmanū Thumma Kafarū Faţubi`a `Alá Qulūbihim Fahum Lā Yafqahūna (Al-Munāfiqūn: 3). 063.003 That is because they believed, then disbelieved, therefore their hearts are sealed so that they understand not. ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ‍‍هُمْ ‌آمَنُوا ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ كَفَرُ‌وا فَ‍‍‍‍طُ‍‍بِعَ عَلَى‌ قُ‍‍لُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَفْ‍‍قَ‍‍هُونَ
Wa 'Idhā Ra'aytahum Tu`jibuka 'Ajsāmuhum ۖ Wa 'In Yaqūlū Tasma` Liqawlihim ۖ Ka'annahum Khushubun Musannadatun ۖ Yaĥsabūna Kulla Şayĥatin `Alayhim ۚ Humu Al-`Adūwu Fāĥdharhum ۚ Qātalahumu Allāhu ۖ 'Anná Yu'ufakūna (Al-Munāfiqūn: 4). 063.004 And when thou seest them their figures please thee; and if they speak thou givest ear unto their speech. (They are) as though they were blocks of wood in striped cloaks. They deem every shout to be against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. Allah confound them! How they are perverted! وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا ‍‍‍رَ‌أَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ ‌أَجْ‍‍سَامُهُمْ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُوا تَسْمَعْ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْلِهِمْ ۖ كَأَنَّ‍‍هُمْ خُ‍‍شُبٌ مُسَ‍‍نَّ‍‍دَةٌ ۖ يَحْسَب‍‍ُ‍ونَ كُلَّ صَ‍‍يْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ هُمُ ‌الْعَدُ‌وُّ‌ فَاحْذَ‌رْهُمْ ۚ قَ‍‍اتَلَهُمُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۖ ‌أَنَّ‍‍ى‌ يُؤْفَكُونَ
Wa 'Idhā Qīla Lahum Ta`ālawā Yastaghfir Lakum Rasūlu Allāhi Lawwawā Ru'ūsahum Wa Ra'aytahum Yaşuddūna Wa Hum Mustakbirūna (Al-Munāfiqūn: 5). 063.005 And when it is said unto them: Come! The messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you! they avert their faces and thou seest them turning away, disdainful. وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ قِ‍‍‍ي‍‍لَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْ‌ا‌ يَسْتَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لَكُمْ ‌‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولُ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ لَوَّ‌وْ‌ا رُ‌ء‍ُ‍‌وسَهُمْ ‌وَ‌‍رَ‌أَيْتَهُمْ يَ‍‍صُ‍‍دّ‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌وَهُمْ مُسْتَكْبِرُ‌ونَ
Sawā'un `Alayhim 'Āstaghfarta Lahum 'Am Lam Tastaghfir Lahum Lan Yaghfira Allāhu Lahum ۚ 'Inna Allāha Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Al-Fāsiqīna (Al-Munāfiqūn: 6). 063.006 Whether thou ask forgiveness for them or ask not forgiveness for them is all one for them; Allah will not forgive them. Lo! Allah guideth not the evil-living folk. سَو‍َ‌اءٌ‌ عَلَيْهِمْ ‌أ‍َ‍‌اسْتَ‍‍‍‍غْ‍‍فَرْتَ لَهُمْ ‌أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لَهُمْ لَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ لَهُمْ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يَهْدِي ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍‍وْمَ ‌الْفَاسِ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Humu Al-Ladhīna Yaqūlūna Lā Tunfiqū `Alá Man `Inda Rasūli Allāhi Ĥattá Yanfađđū ۗ Wa Lillāh Khazā'inu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Lakinna Al-Munāfiqīna Lā Yafqahūna (Al-Munāfiqūn: 7). 063.007 They it is who say: Spend not on behalf of those (who dwell) with Allah's messenger that they may disperse (and go away from you); when Allah's are the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the hypocrites comprehend not. هُمُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ لاَ‌ تُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍فِ‍‍قُ‍‍وا عَلَى‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ حَتَّى‌ يَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍فَ‍‍ضُّ‍‍وا ۗ ‌وَلِلَّهِ خَ‍‍ز‍َ‍‌ائِنُ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الْمُنَافِ‍‍قِ‍‍‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يَفْ‍‍قَ‍‍هُونَ
Yaqūlūna La'in Raja`nā 'Ilá Al-Madīnati Layukhrijanna Al-'A`azzu Minhā Al-'Adhalla ۚ Wa Lillāh Al-`Izzatu Wa Lirasūlihi Wa Lilmu'uminīna Wa Lakinna Al-Munāfiqīna Lā Ya`lamūna (Al-Munāfiqūn: 8). 063.008 They say: Surely, if we return to Al-Madinah the mightier will soon drive out the weaker; when might belongeth to Allah and to His messenger and to the believers; but the hypocrites know not. يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ول‍‍ُ‍ونَ لَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌‍رَجَعْنَ‍‍ا إِلَى‌ ‌الْمَدِينَةِ لَيُ‍‍خْ‍‍‍رِجَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الأَعَزُّ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ ‌الأَ‌ذَلَّ ۚ ‌وَلِلَّهِ ‌الْعِزَّةُ ‌وَلِ‍رَسُولِهِ ‌وَلِلْمُؤْمِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الْمُنَافِ‍‍قِ‍‍‍ي‍‍نَ لاَ‌ يَعْلَمُونَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tulhikum 'Amwālukum Wa Lā 'Awlādukum `An Dhikri Allāhi ۚ Wa Man Yaf`al Dhālika Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Khāsirūna (Al-Munāfiqūn: 9). 063.009 O ye who believe! Let not your wealth nor your children distract you from remembrance of Allah. Those who do so, they are the losers. ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا لاَ‌ تُلْهِكُمْ ‌أَمْوَ‌الُكُمْ ‌وَلاَ أَ‌وْلاَ‌دُكُمْ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذِكْ‍‍رِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ۚ يَفْعَلْ ‌ذَلِكَ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َائِكَ هُمُ ‌الْ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍اسِرُ‌ونَ
Wa 'Anfiqū Min Mā Razaqnākum Min Qabli 'An Ya'tiya 'Aĥadakumu Al-Mawtu Fayaqūla Rabbi Lawlā 'Akhkhartanī 'Ilá 'Ajalin Qarībin Fa'aşşaddaqa Wa 'Akun Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna (Al-Munāfiqūn: 10). 063.010 And spend of that wherewith We have provided you before death cometh unto one of you and he saith: My Lord! If only thou wouldst reprieve me for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous. وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍فِ‍‍‍‍قُ‍‍وا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مَا ‍رَ‌زَ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَاكُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍‍بْ‍‍لِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَأْتِيَ ‌أَحَدَكُمُ ‌الْمَ‍‍وْتُ فَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍‍ولَ ‌‍رَبِّ لَوْلاَ أَ‍خَّ‍‍رْتَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِلَ‍‍ى أَجَلٍ قَ‍‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍بٍ فَأَ‍صَّ‍‍دَّ‍‍قَ ‌وَ‌أَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍‍صَّ‍‍الِحِينَ
Wa Lan Yu'uakhkhira Allāhu Nafsāan 'Idhā Jā'a 'Ajaluhā ۚ Wa Allāhu Khabīrun Bimā Ta`malūna (Al-Munāfiqūn: 11). 063.011 But Allah reprieveth no soul when its term cometh, and Allah is Informed of what ye do. وَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُؤَ‍‍‍‍خِّ‍‍‍رَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ نَفْساً ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَ أَجَلُهَا‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌اللَّهُ خَ‍‍ب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رٌ بِمَا‌ تَعْمَلُونَ
