105) Sūrat Al-Fīl

| 'Alam Tará Kayfa Fa`ala Rabbuka Bi'aşĥābi Al-Fīl | Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. (Al-Fil 105:1) | أَلَمْ تَرَى كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيل |
| 'Alam Yaj`al Kaydahum Fī Tađlīlin | Did He not make their plot go astray? (Al-Fil 105:2) | أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيل ٍ |
| Wa 'Arsala `Alayhim Ţayrāan 'Abābīla | And sent against them birds, in flocks, (Al-Fil 105:3) | وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْراً أَبَابِيلَ |
| Tarmīhim Biĥijāratin Min Sijjīlin | Striking them with stones of Sijjīl. (Al-Fil 105:4) | تَرْمِيهِمْ بِحِجَارَة ٍ مِنْ سِجِّيل ٍ |
| Faja`alahum Ka`aşfin Ma'kūlin | And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). (Al-Fil 105:5) | فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْف ٍ مَأْكُول ٍ |
