'Idhā As-Samā'u Anshaqqat  | When the heaven is split asunder, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:1) | إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انشَقَّتْ |
Wa 'Adhinat Lirabbihā Wa Ĥuqqat  | And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; (Al-Inshiqaq 84:2) | وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ |
Wa 'Idhā Al-'Arđu Muddat  | And when the earth is stretched forth, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:3) | وَإِذَا الأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ |
Wa 'Alqat Mā Fīhā Wa Takhallat  | And has cast out all that was in it and became empty, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:4) | وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ |
Wa 'Adhinat Lirabbihā Wa Ĥuqqat  | And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; (Al-Inshiqaq 84:5) | وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ |
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-'Insānu 'Innaka Kādiĥun 'Ilá Rabbika Kadĥāan Famulāqīhi  | O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions (good or bad), a sure returning, so you will meet (i.e. the results of your deeds which you did). (Al-Inshiqaq 84:6) | يَاأَيُّهَا الإِنسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِح ٌ إِلَى رَبِّكَ كَدْحا ً فَمُلاَقِيهِ |
Fa'ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Biyamīnihi  | Then, as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:7) | فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَه ُُ بِيَمِينِهِ |
Fasawfa Yuĥāsabu Ĥisābāan Yasīrāan  | He surely will receive an easy reckoning, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:8) | فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابا ً يَسِيرا ً |
Wa Yanqalibu 'Ilá 'Ahlihi Masrūrāan  | And will return to his family in joy! (Al-Inshiqaq 84:9) | وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَى أَهْلِه ِِ مَسْرُورا ً |
Wa 'Ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Warā'a Žahrihi  | But whosoever is given his Record behind his back, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:10) | وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَه ُُ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ |
Fasawfa Yad`ū Thubūrāan  | He will invoke (his) destruction, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:11) | فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُو ثُبُورا ً |
Wa Yaşlá Sa`īrāan  | And shall enter a blazing Fire, and made to taste its burning. (Al-Inshiqaq 84:12) | وَيَصْلَى سَعِيرا ً |
'Innahu Kāna Fī 'Ahlihi Masrūrāan  | Verily, he was among his people in joy! (Al-Inshiqaq 84:13) | إِنَّه ُُ كَانَ فِي أَهْلِه ِِ مَسْرُورا ً |
'Innahu Žanna 'An Lan Yaĥūra  | Verily, he thought that he would never come back (to Us)! (Al-Inshiqaq 84:14) | إِنَّه ُُ ظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ يَحُورَ |
Balá 'Inna Rabbahu Kāna Bihi Başīrāan  | Yes! Verily, his Lord has been ever beholding him! (Al-Inshiqaq 84:15) | بَلَى إِنَّ رَبَّه ُُ كَانَ بِه ِِ بَصِيرا ً |
Falā 'Uqsimu Bish-Shafaqi  | So I swear by the afterglow of sunset; (Al-Inshiqaq 84:16) | فَلاَ أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ |
Wa Al-Layli Wa Mā Wasaqa  | And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness; (Al-Inshiqaq 84:17) | وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ |
Wa Al-Qamari 'Idhā Attasaqa  | And by the moon when it is at the full, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:18) | وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ |
Latarkabunna Ţabaqāan `An Ţabaqin  | You shall certainly travel from stage to stage (in this life and in the Hereafter). (Al-Inshiqaq 84:19) | لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقاً عَنْ طَبَق ٍ |
Famā Lahum Lā Yu'uminūna  | What is the matter with them, that they believe not? (Al-Inshiqaq 84:20) | فَمَا لَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ |
Wa 'Idhā Quri'a `Alayhimu Al-Qur'ānu Lā Yasjudūna  | And when the Qur'ān is recited to them, they fall not prostrate, (Al-Inshiqaq 84:21) | وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لاَ يَسْجُدُونَ |
Bali Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yukadhdhibūna  | Nay, (on the contrary), those who disbelieve, belie (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and whatever he brought, i.e. this Qur'ān and Islāmic Monotheism, etc.). (Al-Inshiqaq 84:22) | بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُكَذِّبُونَ |
Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Yū`ūna  | And Allāh knows best what they gather (of good and bad deeds), (Al-Inshiqaq 84:23) | وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ |
Fabashshirhum Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin  | So announce to them a painful torment. (Al-Inshiqaq 84:24) | فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيم ٍ |
'Illā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum 'Ajrun Ghayru Mamnūnin  | Save those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them is a reward that will never come to an end (i.e. Paradise). (Al-Inshiqaq 84:25) | إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُون ٍ |
