Kadhālika Yūĥī 'Ilayka Wa 'Ilá Al-Ladhīna Min Qablika Allāhu Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu Thus He inspires you, and those before you—God the Almighty, the Wise. 042-003 ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Lahu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi ۖ Wa Huwa Al-`Alīyu Al-`Ažīmu To him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. He is the Sublime, the Magnificent. 042-004 ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍
Takādu As-Samāwātu Yatafaţţarna Min Fawqihinna ۚ Wa Al-Malā'ikatu Yusabbiĥūna Biĥamdi Rabbihim Wa Yastaghfirūna Liman Al-'Arđi ۗ 'Alā 'Inna Allāha Huwa Al-Ghafūru Ar-Raĥīmu The heavens above them almost burst apart, while the angels glorify the praises of their Lord, and ask forgiveness for those on earth. God is indeed the Forgiver, the Merciful. 042-005 ‍‍‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍ ۚ‍‍ ‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ ۗ ‌‌ ‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌
Wa Al-Ladhīna Attakhadhū Min Dūnihi~ 'Awliyā'a Allāhu Ĥafīžun `Alayhim Wa Mā 'Anta `Alayhim Biwakīlin As for those who take masters other than Him: God is in charge of them, and you are not responsible for them. 042-006 ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌
Wa Kadhalika 'Awĥaynā 'Ilayka Qur'ānāan `Arabīyāan Litundhira 'Umma Al-Qurá Wa Man Ĥawlahā Wa Tundhira Yawma Al-Jam`i Lā Rayba Fīhi ۚ Farīqun Al-Jannati Wa Farīqun As-Sa`īri Thus We inspired you with an Arabic Quran, that you may warn the Central City and whoever is around it, and to warn of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt; a group in the Garden, and a group in the Furnace. 042-007 ‌‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌ ‌‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ۚ‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍
Wa Law Shā'a Allāhu Laja`alahum 'Ummatan Wāĥidatan Wa Lakin Yudkhilu Man Yashā'u Fī Raĥmatihi ۚ Wa Až-Žālimūna Mā Lahum Min Wa Līyin Wa Lā Naşīrin Had God willed, He could have made them one community, but He admits into His mercy whomever He wills. As for the wrongdoers, they will have no protector and no savior. 042-008 ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ‍ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌‍ ۚ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
'Am Attakhadhū Min Dūnihi~ 'Awliyā'a ۖ Fa-Allāhu Huwa Al-Walīyu Wa Huwa Yuĥyī Al-Mawtá Wa Huwa `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun Or have they adopted protectors besides him? But God is the Protector, and He gives life to the dead, and He has power over all things. 042-009 ‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍
Wa Mā Akhtalaftum Fīhi Min Shay'in Faĥukmuhu~ 'Ilá Allāhi ۚ Dhalikumu Allāhu Rabbī `Alayhi Tawakkaltu Wa 'Ilayhi 'Unību Whatever matter you differ about, its judgment rests with God. “Such is God, my Lord, in Whom I trust, and unto Him I repent.” 042-010 ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌~ ‌‌ ۚ‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍ ‌
ţiru As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۚ Ja`ala Lakum Min 'Anfusikum 'Azwājāan Wa Mina Al-'An`ām 'Azwājāan ۖ Yadhra'uukum Fīhi ۚ Laysa Kamithlihi Shay'un ۖ Wa Huwa As-Samī`u Al-Başīru Originator of the heavens and the earth. He made for you mates from among yourselves, and pairs of animals, by means of which He multiplies you. There is nothing like Him. He is the Hearing, the Seeing. 042-011 ‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ۚ ‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‌‌‌‌ ‌ ‌‌‌‌ۖ ‌‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ۚ‍‍‍ ‍ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Lahu Maqālīdu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۖ Yabsuţu Ar-Rizqa Liman Yashā'u Wa Yaqdiru ۚ 'Innahu Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun To Him belongs absolute control of the heavens and the earth. He spreads the bounties to whomever He wills, or reduces it. He is aware of all things. 042-012 ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ۖ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ
Shara`a Lakum Mina Ad-Dīni Mā Waşşá Bihi Nūĥāan Wa Al-Ladhī 'Awĥaynā 'Ilayka Wa Mā Waşşaynā Bihi~ 'Ibhīma Wa Mūsá Wa `Īsá ۖ 'An 'Aqīmū Ad-Dīna Wa Lā Tatafarraqū Fīhi ۚ Kabura `Alá Al-Mushrikīna Mā Tad`ūhum 'Ilayhi ۚ Allāhu Yajtabī 'Ilayhi Man Yashā'u Wa Yahdī 'Ilayhi Man Yunību He prescribed for you the same religion He enjoined upon Noah, and what We inspired to you, and what We enjoined upon Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus: “You shall uphold the religion, and be not divided therein.” As for the idolaters, what you call them to is outrageous to them. God chooses to Himself whom He wills, and He guides to Himself whoever repents. 042-013 ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‌ ‌ ‌‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍ۖ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ۚ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍ ‌‍‍‍ۚ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌
Wa Mā Tafarraqū 'Illā Min Ba`di Mā Jā'ahumu Al-`Ilmu Baghyāan Baynahum ۚ Wa Lawlā Kalimatun Sabaqat Min Rabbika 'Ilá 'Ajalin Musamman Laquđiya Baynahum ۚ Wa 'Inna Al-Ladhīna 'Ūrithū Al-Kitāba Min Ba`dihim Lafī Shakkin Minhu Murībin They became divided only after knowledge came to them, out of resentment among themselves. Were it not for a predetermined decision from your Lord, judgment would have been pronounced between them. Indeed, those who were made to inherit the Book after them are in grave doubt about it. 042-014 ‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ۚ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍
Falidhalika Fād`u ۖ Wa Astaqim Kamā 'Umirta ۖ Wa Lā Tattabi` 'Ahwā'ahum ۖ Wa Qul 'Āmantu Bimā 'Anzala Allāhu Min Kitābin ۖ Wa 'Umirtu Li'`dila Baynakumu ۖ Allāhu Rabbunā Wa Rabbukum ۖ Lanā 'A`mālunā Wa Lakum 'A`mālukum ۖ Lā Ĥujjata Baynanā Wa Baynakumu ۖ Allāhu Yajma`u Baynanā ۖ Wa 'Ilayhi Al-Maşīru To this go on inviting, and be upright as you were commanded, and do not follow their inclinations, and say, “I believe in whatever Book God has sent down, and I was commanded to judge between you equitably. God is our Lord and your Lord. We have our deeds, and you have your deeds. Let there be no quarrel between us and you. God will bring us together, and to Him is the ultimate return.” 042-015 ۖ‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‍ ۖ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‌ۖ ‌‍‍ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‍‌‍‍ۖ ‌‌‍ ۖ ‍ ‌‍‌ ‌‌‍ ۖ‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ۖ ‌ ‌ ‌ ۖ ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ۖ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yuĥājjūna Fī Al-Lahi Min Ba`di Mā Astujība Lahu Ĥujjatuhum Dāĥiđatun `Inda Rabbihim Wa `Alayhim Ghađabun Wa Lahum `Adhābun Shadīdun As for those who dispute about God after having answered His call, their argument is invalid with their Lord; and upon them falls wrath; and a grievous torment awaits them. 042-016 ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‌
Al-Lahu Al-Ladhī 'Anzala Al-Kitāba Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Al-Mīzāna ۗ Wa Mā Yudrīka La`alla As-Sā`ata Qarībun It is God who revealed the Book with the truth, and the Balance. And what will make you realize that perhaps the Hour is near? 042-017 ‌‌‍‍‍‍‌ ۗ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍
Yasta`jilu Bihā Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu'uminūna Bihā ۖ Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Mushfiqūna Minhā Wa Ya`lamūna 'Annahā Al-Ĥaqqu ۗ 'Alā 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yumārūna Fī As-Sā`ati Lafī Đalālin Ba`īdin Those who do not believe in it seek to hasten it; but those who believe are apprehensive of it, and they know it to be the truth. Absolutely, those who question the Hour are in distant error. 042-018 ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍ۖ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ۗ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‌
Al-Lahu Laţīfun Bi`ibādihi Yarzuqu Man Yashā'u ۖ Wa Huwa Al-Qawīyu Al-`Azīzu God is kind towards His worshipers. He provides for whomever He wills. He is the Powerful, the Honorable. 042-019 ‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‍
Man Kāna Yurīdu Ĥartha Al-'Ākhirati Nazid Lahu Fī Ĥarthihi ۖ Wa Man Kāna Yurīdu Ĥartha Ad-Dunyā Nu'utihi Minhā Wa Mā Lahu Fī Al-'Ākhirati Min Naşībin Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter, We increase for him his harvest; and whoever desires the harvest of this world, We give him thereof, and he has no share of the Hereafter. 042-020 ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍ ‌ ‍ ۖ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‌ ‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍
'Am Lahum Shurakā'u Shara`ū Lahum Mina Ad-Dīni Mā Lam Ya'dhan Bihi Allāhu ۚ Wa Lawlā Kalimatu Al-Faşli Laquđiya Baynahum ۗ Wa 'Inna Až-Žālimīna Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun Or is it that they have partners who litigate for them religious laws never authorized by God? Were it not for the conclusive decision, it would have been settled between them. The wicked will have a painful punishment. 042-021 ‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌ ۚ ‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍ۗ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Tará Až-Žālimīna Mushfiqīna Mimmā Kasabū Wa Huwa Wāqi`un Bihim ۗ Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Fī Raāti Al-Jannāti ۖ Lahum Mā Yashā'ūna `Inda Rabbihim ۚ Dhālika Huwa Al-Fađlu Al-Kabīru You will see the unjust terrified of what they have earned, and it will befall them. As for those who believe and do good deeds, they will be in the Meadows of the Gardens; they will have whatever they please in the presence of their Lord; that is the supreme blessing. 042-022 ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‍‌ۗ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‍ ‍‍‍‍ ۖ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ۚ ‌ ‌ ‍‍
Dhālika Al-Ladhī Yubashshiru Allāhu `Ibādahu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti ۗ Qul Lā 'As'alukum `Alayhi 'Ajan 'Illā Al-Mawaddata Fī Al-Qurbá ۗ Wa Man Yaqtarif Ĥasanatan Nazid Lahu Fīhā Ĥusnāan ۚ 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Shakūrun That is the good news God gives to His servants who believe and do good deeds. Say, “I ask of you no wage for it, except affection among the near of kin.” Whoever does a good deed, We will increase its goodness for him. God is Forgiving and Appreciative. 042-023 ‍‍‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ۗ ‍ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‌ ۗ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍ ‌ ‌ۚ ‍‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‌
'Am Yaqūlūna Aftará `Alá Allāhi Kadhibāan ۖ Fa'in Yasha'i Allāhu Yakhtim `Alá Qalbika ۗ Wa Yamĥu Allāhu Al-Bāţila Wa Yuĥiqqu Al-Ĥaqqa Bikalimātihi~ ۚ 'Innahu `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri Or do they say, “He forged a lie about God.” If God so willed, He could have sealed your heart. But God obliterates the false, and confirm the true by His Words. He knows what is in the hearts. 042-024 ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍ ‌ۖ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ۗ‍ ‌‍ ۚ‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‌
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Yaqbalu At-Tawbat `An `Ibādihi Wa Ya`fū `Ani As-Sayyi'āti Wa Ya`lamu Mā Taf`alūna It is He who accepts the repentance of His worshipers, and remits the sins, and knows what you do. 042-025 ‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‌
Wa Yastajību Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Wa Yazīduhum Min Fađlihi ۚ Wa Al-Kāfirūna Lahum `Adhābun Shadīdun And He answers those who believe and do good deeds, and He increases them of His grace. But the disbelievers will suffer a terrible punishment. 042-026 ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍ ۚ‍‍‌ ‍‍‌
Wa Law Basaţa Allāhu Ar-Rizqa Li`ibādihi Labaghaw Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Lakin Yunazzilu Biqadarin Mā Yashā'u ۚ 'Innahu Bi`ibādihi Khabīrun Başīrun If God were to increase the provision to His servants, they would transgress on earth; but He sends down in precise measure whatever He wills. Surely, regarding His servants, He is Expert and Observant. 042-027 ‌ ‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‌‍ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Yunazzilu Al-Ghaytha Min Ba`di Mā Qanaţū Wa Yanshuru Raĥmatahu ۚ Wa Huwa Al-Walīyu Al-Ĥamīdu It is He who brings down the rain after they have despaired, and unfolds His mercy. He is the Guardian, the Praised. 042-028 ‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ۚ ‌‌
Wa Min 'Āyātihi Khalqu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Baththa Fīhimā Min Dābbatin ۚ Wa Huwa `Alá Jam`ihim 'Idhā Yashā'u Qadīrun And of His signs are the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the creatures He has spread throughout them; and He is Able to gather them at will. 042-029 ‍‌ ‌‍ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ۚ ‌‌ ‌ ‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‍‌‌
Wa Mā 'Aşābakum Min Muşībatin Fabimā Kasabat 'Aydīkum Wa Ya`fū `An Kathīrin Whatever misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned; and yet He pardons much. 042-030 ‌ ‌‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍
Wa Mā 'Antum Bimu`jizīna Fī Al-'Arđi ۖ Wa Mā Lakum Min Dūni Allāhi Min Wa Līyin Wa Lā Naşīrin You are not the ones to interfere on earth; and besides God, you have no ally, and no helper. 042-031 ‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‍ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‍ ‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Min 'Āyātihi Al-Jawāri Fī Al-Baĥri Kāl'a`lāmi And of His signs are the ships sailing the sea like flags. 042-032 ‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌ ‍‍‌
'In Yasha' Yuskini Ar-Rīĥa Fayažlalna Rawākida `Alá Žahrihi~ ۚ 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Likulli Şabbārin Shakūrin If He willed, He could have stilled the winds, leaving them motionless on its surface. Surely in that are signs for every disciplined, grateful person. 042-033 ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌‌‌ ‌ ‍‍ ۚ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌ ‌
'Aw Yūbiqhunna Bimā Kasabū Wa Ya`fu `An Kathīrin Or He could wreck them, because of what they have earned. And yet He pardons much. 042-034 ‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍
Wa Ya`lama Al-Ladhīna Yujādilūna Fī 'Āyātinā Mā Lahum Min Maĥīşin Those who dispute Our signs know that there is no asylum for them. 042-035 ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‌
Famā 'Ūtītum Min Shay'in Famatā`u Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunۖ Wa Mā `Inda Allāhi Khayrun Wa 'Abqá Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Alá Rabbihim Yatawakkalūna Whatever thing you are given is only the provision of this life. But what God possesses is better and more lasting for those who believe and rely on their Lord. 042-036 ‌ ‌‍‍‌ ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‌‍‌ ۖ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‍
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yajtanibūna Kabā'ira Al-'Ithmi Wa Al-Fawāĥisha Wa 'Idhā Mā Ghađibū Hum Yaghfirūna And those who avoid major sins and indecencies; and if they become angry, they forgive. 042-037 ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌‌‌‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‌
Wa Al-Ladhīna Astajābū Lirabbihim Wa 'Aqāmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Amruhum Shūrá Baynahum Wa Mimmā Razaqnāhum Yunfiqūna And those who respond to their Lord, and pray regularly, and conduct their affairs by mutual consultation, and give of what We have provided them. 042-038 ‍‍‍‌ ‍ ‌‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌‍‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Idhā 'Aşābahumu Al-Baghyu Hum Yantaşirūna And those who, when wronged, defend themselves. 042-039 ‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
Wa Jazā'u Sayyi'atin Sayyi'atun Mithluhā ۖ Faman `Afā Wa 'Aşlaĥa Fa'ajruhu `Alá Allāhi ۚ 'Innahu Lā Yuĥibbu Až-Žālimīna The repayment of a bad action is one equivalent to it. But whoever pardons and makes reconciliation, his reward lies with God. He does not love the unjust. 042-040 ‍‍‌‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ۖ ‍‌ ‌ ‌‌‍ۚ‍‍
Wa Lamani Antaşara Ba`da Žulmihi Fa'ūlā'ika Mā `Alayhim Min Sabīlin As for those who retaliate after being wronged, there is no blame on them. 042-041 ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‍‍ ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‌
'Innamā As-Sabīlu `Alá Al-Ladhīna Yažlimūna An-Nāsa Wa Yabghūna Fī Al-'Arđi Bighayri Al-Ĥaqqi ۚ 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun Blame lies on those who wrong people, and commit aggression in the land without right. These will have a painful punishment. 042-042 ‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ۚ‍‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‌
Wa Laman Şabara Wa Ghafara 'Inna Dhālika Lamin `Azmi Al-'Umūri But whoever endures patiently and forgives—that is a sign of real resolve. 042-043 ‍‌ ‍‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‌
Wa Man Yuđlili Allāhu Famā Lahu Min Wa Līyin Min Ba`dihi ۗ Wa Tará Až-Žālimīna Lammā Ra'aw Al-`Adhāba Yaqūlūna Hal 'Ilá Maraddin Min Sabīlin Whoever God leaves astray has no protector apart from Him. And you will see the transgressors, when they see the torment, saying, “Is there a way of going back?” 042-044 ‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍ ‍‌‌ ‍‌ ۗ ‌‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍‌‌‌‌ ‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‌ ‍‌
Wa Tahum Yu`rađūna `Alayhā Khāshi`īna Mina Adh-Dhulli Yanžurūna Min Ţarfin Khafīyin ۗ Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Inna Al-Khāsirīna Al-Ladhīna Khasirū 'Anfusahum Wa 'Ahlīhim Yawma Al-Qiyāmati ۗ 'Alā 'Inna Až-Žālimīna Fī `Adhābin Muqīmin And you will see them exposed to it, cowering from disgrace, looking with concealed eyes. Those who believed will say, “The losers are those who lost themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection.” Indeed, the evildoers are in a lasting torment. 042-045 ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌ ۗ ‌‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‌‍‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‌‍ ‌‌ ‍ ‍‍ۗ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍
Wa Mā Kāna Lahum Min 'Awliyā'a Yanşurūnahum Min Dūni Allāhi ۗ Wa Man Yuđlili Allāhu Famā Lahu Min Sabīlin They will have no allies to support them against God. Whomever God leaves astray has no way out. 042-046 ‌ ‍‍‍ ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌‌ ‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ۗ ‌‍‌‍‍‍ ‌ ‍ ‍‌
Astajībū Lirabbikum Min Qabli 'An Ya'tiya Yawmun Lā Maradda Lahu Mina Allāhi ۚ Mā Lakum Min Malja'iin Yawma'idhin Wa Mā Lakum Min Nakīrin Respond to your Lord before there comes from God a Day that cannot be turned back. You will have no refuge on that Day, and no possibility of denial. 042-047 ‌ ‍ ‍‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‌ ‍‌‌ ‍ ۚ ‌ ‍‌ ‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‍‍
Fa'in 'A`rađū Famā 'Arsalnāka `Alayhim Ĥafīžāan ۖ 'In `Alayka 'Illā Al-Balāghu ۗ Wa 'Innā 'Idhā 'Adhaq Al-'Insāna Minnā Raĥmatan Fariĥa Bihā ۖ Wa 'In Tuşibhum Sayyi'atun Bimā Qaddamat 'Aydīhim Fa'inna Al-'Insāna Kafūrun But if they turn away—We did not send you as a guardian over them. Your only duty is communication. Whenever We let man taste mercy from Us, he rejoices in it; but when misfortune befalls them, as a consequence of what their hands have perpetrated, man turns blasphemous. 042-048 ‌‍‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ۖ ‌‌‍‍‍ ‌‌ ۗ ‌‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌‍‍‍‌ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌ ‌‍ ‌ ‍ۖ ‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‌ ‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‍
Lillāh Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi ۚ Yakhluqu Mā Yashā'u ۚ Yahabu Liman Yashā'u 'Ināthāan Wa Yahabu Liman Yashā'u Adh-Dhukūra To God belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He creates whatever He wills. He grants daughters to whomever He wills, and He grants sons to whomever He wills. 042-049 ‍‌‍‍‌‌‍ ۚ‍‍‍‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ۚ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‌‌ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‌‍
'Aw Yuzawwijuhum Dhuknāan Wa 'Ināthāan ۖ Wa Yaj`alu Man Yashā'u `Aqīmāan ۚ 'Innahu `Alīmun Qadīrun Or He combines them together, males and females; and He renders whomever He wills sterile. He is Knowledgeable and Capable. 042-050 ‌‌ ‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‌ۖ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‍‍‍‌ۚ‍‍‍‍‌
Wa Mā Kāna Libasharin 'An Yukallimahu Allāhu 'Illā Waĥyāan 'Aw Min Warā'i Ĥijābin 'Aw Yursila Rasūlāan Fayūĥiya Bi'idhnihi Mā Yashā'u ۚ 'Innahu `Alīyun Ĥakīmun It is not for any human that God should speak to him, except by inspiration, or from behind a veil, or by sending a messenger to reveal by His permission whatever He wills. He is All-High, All-Wise. 042-051 ‌ ‍‍‍ ‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‌‍‍‌‌‌ ‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‌‍‌ ‌‍ ‌ ‍‍‍‌‌ ۚ
Wa Kadhalika 'Awĥaynā 'Ilayka Rūĥāan Min 'Amrinā ۚ Mā Kunta Tadrī Mā Al-Kitābu Wa Lā Al-'Īmānu Wa Lakin Ja`alnāhu Nūan Nahdī Bihi Man Nashā'u Min `Ibādinā ۚ Wa 'Innaka Latahdī 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin We thus inspired you spiritually, by Our command. You did not know what the Scripture is, nor what faith is, but We made it a light, with which We guide whomever We will of Our servants. You surely guide to a straight path. 042-052 ‌‌‍‌ ‌‍‍‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‍ۚ ‌ ‍‌‍‍‍ ‍‍‍ ‌‌ ‍‍ ‌‍‌‍‍ ‌‌‌ ‍ ‍‌‍‍‌‌ ‍‌ ‌‌ ۚ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍‌‌ ‍‍‍
Şirāţi Allāhi Al-Ladhī Lahu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi ۗ 'Alā 'Ilá Allāhi Taşīru Al-'Umūru The path of God, to whom belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. Indeed, to God all matters revert. 042-053 ‍‌ ‍‌‍‍‌ ‌‌ ‌‍ ۗ ‌‌ ‌‌ ‍ ‍‍‍‍‍‍‌
