'Alif-Lām- ۚ Tilka 'Āyātu Al-Kitābi Al-Mubīni (Yūsuf: 1). Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the Verses of the Clear Book. 012001 أَلِف-لَام-‍رَ‌ا‌ ۚ تِلْكَ ‌آي‍‍َاتُ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ ‌الْمُب‍‍ِي‍نِ
'Innā 'Anzalnāhu Qur'ānāan `Araan La`allakum Ta`qilūna (Yūsuf: 2). We have revealed it an Arabic Quran, so that you may understand. 012002 إِنَّ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‍‍زَلْن‍‍َاهُ قُ‍‍رْ‌آناً‌ عَ‍رَبِيّاً لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍ل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Naĥnu Naquşşu `Alayka 'Aĥsana Al-Qaşaşi Bimā 'Awĥaynā 'Ilayka Hādhā Al-Qur'āna Wa 'In Kunta Min Qablihi Lamina Al-Ghāfilīna (Yūsuf: 3). We narrate to you the most accurate history, by revealing to you this Quran. Although, prior to it, you were of the unaware. 012003 نَحْنُ نَ‍‍قُ‍‍صُّ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌أَحْسَنَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍صَ‍‍صِ بِمَ‍‍ا أَ‌وْحَيْنَ‍‍ا إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍رْ‌آنَ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِ لَمِنَ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍افِل‍‍ِي‍نَ
'Idh Qāla Yūsufu Li'abīhi Yā 'Abati 'Innī Ra'aytu 'Aĥada `Ashara Kawkabāan Wa Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Ra'aytuhum Lī Sājidīna (Yūsuf: 4). When Joseph said to his father, "O my father, I saw eleven planets, and the sun, and the moon; I saw them bowing down to me."‌ 012004 إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ يُوسُفُ لِأَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ي‍‍َا‌أَبَتِ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي رَ‌أَيْ‍‍تُ ‌أَحَدَ‌ عَشَ‍رَ‌ كَوْكَباً ‌وَ‌ال‍‍شَّمْسَ ‌وَ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍مَ‍رَرَ‌أَيْتُهُمْ لِي سَاجِد‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qāla Yā Bunayya Lā Taqşuş Ru'uyā Ka `Alá 'Ikhwatika Fayakīdū Laka ۖ Kaydāan 'Inna Ash-Shayţāna Lil'insāni `Adūwun Mubīnun (Yūsuf: 5). He said, "O my son, do not relate your vision to your brothers, lest they plot and scheme against you. Satan is man's sworn enemy. 012005 قَ‍الَ يَابُنَيَّ لاَ‌ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍صُ‍‍صْ ‌رُ‌ؤْي‍‍َاكَ عَلَ‍‍ى إِخْ‍‍وَتِكَ فَيَكِيدُ‌وا‌ لَكَ كَيْد‌اً ۖ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انَ لِلإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانِ عَدُ‌وٌّ مُب‍‍ِي‍نٌ
Wa Kadhalika Yajtabīka Rabbuka Wa Yu`allimuka Min Ta'li Al-'Aĥādīthi Wa Yutimmu Ni`matahu `Alayka Wa `Alá 'Āli Ya`qūba Kamā 'Atammahā `Alá 'Abawayka Min Qablu 'Ibhīma Wa 'Isĥāqa ۚ 'Inna Rabbaka `Alīmun Ĥakīmun (Yūsuf: 6). And thus your Lord will choose you, and will teach you the interpretation of events, and will complete His blessing upon you and upon the family of Jacob, as He has completed it before upon your forefathers Abraham and Isaac. Your Lord is Knowing and Wise. 012006 وَكَذَلِكَ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍تَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍كَ رَبُّكَ ‌وَيُعَلِّمُكَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَأْ‌و‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌الأَحَا‌د‍ِ‍ي‍‍ثِ ‌وَيُتِ‍‍مُّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ‌وَعَلَ‍‍ى آلِ يَعْ‍‍قُ‍‍وبَ كَمَ‍‍ا أَتَ‍‍مَّ‍‍هَا‌ عَلَ‍‍ى أَبَوَيْ‍‍كَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ ‌إِبْ‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ ‌وَ‌إِسْح‍‍َاقَ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ رَبَّكَ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مٌ حَك‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Laqad Kāna Fī Yūsufa Wa 'Ikhwatihi 'Āyātun Lilssā'ilīna (Yūsuf: 7). In Joseph and his brothers are lessons for the seekers. 012007 لَ‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ك‍‍َانَ فِي يُوسُفَ ‌وَ‌إِخْ‍‍وَتِهِ ‌آي‍‍َات ٌ لِلسّ‍‍َائِل‍‍ِي‍نَ
'Idh Qālū Layūsufu Wa 'Akhūhu 'Aĥabbu 'Ilá 'Abīnā Minnā Wa Naĥnu `Uşbatun 'Inna 'Abānā Lafī Đalālin Mubīnin (Yūsuf: 8). When they said, "Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, although we are a whole group. Our father is obviously in the wrong. 012008 إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍‍الُوا‌ لَيُوسُفُ ‌وَ‌أَ‍خُ‍‍وهُ ‌أَحَبُّ ‌إِلَ‍‍ى أَبِينَا‌ مِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا وَنَحْنُ عُ‍‍صْ‍‍بَةٌ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌أَبَانَا‌ لَفِي ضَ‍‍لاَلٍ مُب‍‍ِي‍نٍ
Aqtulū Yūsufa 'Awi Aţraĥūhu 'Arđāan Yakhlu Lakum Wajhu 'Abīkum Wa Takūnū Min Ba`dihi Qawmāan Şāliĥīna (Yūsuf: 9). "Kill Joseph, or throw him somewhere in the land, and your father"کs attention will be yours. Afterwards, you will be decent people."‌ 012009 ا‍قْ‍‍تُلُوا‌ يُوسُفَ ‌أَ‌وِ‌ ‌ا‍طْ‍رَح‍‍ُ‍وهُ ‌أَ‌رْض‍‍اً يَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُ لَكُمْ ‌وَجْ‍‍هُ ‌أَبِيكُمْ ‌وَتَكُونُوا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِهِ قَ‍‍وْماً صَ‍‍الِح‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qāla Qā'ilun Minhum Lā Taqtulū Yūsufa Wa 'Alqūhu Fī Ghayābati Al-Jubbi Yaltaqiţhu Ba`đu As-Sayyārati 'In Kuntum Fā`ilīna (Yūsuf: 10). One of them said, "Do not kill Joseph, but throw him into the bottom of the well; some caravan may pick him up"”if you must do something."‌ 012010 قَ‍الَ قَ‍‍ائِلٌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ لاَ‌ تَ‍‍قْ‍‍تُلُوا‌ يُوسُفَ ‌وَ‌أَلْ‍‍قُ‍‍وهُ فِي غَ‍‍يَابَتِ ‌الْجُبِّ يَلْتَ‍‍قِ‍‍طْ‍‍هُ بَعْ‍‍ضُ ‌ال‍‍سَّيَّا‌‍رَةِ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ فَاعِل‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qālū Yā 'Abānā Mā Laka Lā Ta'mannā `Alá Yūsufa Wa 'Innā Lahu Lanāşūna (Yūsuf: 11). They said, "Father, why do you not trust us with Joseph, although we care for him?"‌ 012011 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ ي‍‍َا‌أَبَانَا‌ مَا‌ لَكَ لاَ‌ تَأْمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ عَلَى‌ يُوسُفَ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَهُ لَنَاصِ‍‍ح‍‍ُو‍نَ
'Arsilhu Ma`anā Ghadāan Yarta` Wa Yal`ab Wa 'Innā Lahu Laĥāfižūna (Yūsuf: 12). "Send him with us tomorrow, that he may roam and play; we will take care of him."‌ 012012 أَ‌رْسِلْهُ مَعَنَا‌ غَ‍‍د‌اً يَرْتَعْ ‌وَيَلْعَ‍‍ب‌ْ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَهُ لَحَافِ‍‍ظ‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qāla 'Innī Layaĥzununī 'An Tadh/habū Bihi Wa 'Akhāfu 'An Ya'kulahu Adh-Dhi'bu Wa 'Antum `Anhu Ghāfilūna (Yūsuf: 13). He said, "It worries me that you would take him away. And I fear the wolf may eat him while you are careless of him."‌ 012013 قَ‍الَ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي لَيَحْزُنُنِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَذْهَبُوا‌ بِهِ ‌وَ‌أَ‍خَ‍افُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَأْكُلَهُ ‌ال‍‍ذِّئْبُ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ غَ‍‍افِل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qālū La'in 'Akalahu Adh-Dhi'bu Wa Naĥnu `Uşbatun 'Innā 'Idhāan Lakhāsirūna (Yūsuf: 14). They said, "If the wolf ate him, and we are many, we would be good for nothing."‌ 012014 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ لَئِ‍‌نْ ‌أَكَلَهُ ‌ال‍‍ذِّئْبُ ‌وَنَحْنُ عُ‍‍صْ‍‍بَةٌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا إِ‌ذ‌اً لَ‍‍خَ‍‍اسِر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Falammā Dhahabū Bihi Wa 'Ajma`ū 'An Yaj`alūhu Fī Ghayābati Al-Jubbi ۚ Wa 'Awĥaynā 'Ilayhi Latunabbi'annahum Bi'amrihimdhā Wa Hum Lā Yash`urūna (Yūsuf: 15). So they went away with him, and agreed to put him at the bottom of the well. And We inspired him, "You will inform them of this deed of theirs when they are unaware."‌ 012015 فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا ذَهَبُوا‌ بِهِ ‌وَ‌أَجْ‍‍مَعُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَل‍‍ُ‍وهُ فِي غَ‍‍يَابَتِ ‌الْجُبِّ ۚ ‌وَ‌أَ‌وْحَيْنَ‍‍ا إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ لَتُنَبِّئَ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُمْ بِأَمْ‍‍رِهِمْ هَذَ‌ا وَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَشْعُر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Wa Jā'ū 'Abāhum `Ishā'an Yabkūna (Yūsuf: 16). And they came to their father in the evening weeping. 012016 وَج‍‍َا‌ءُ‌وا‌ ‌أَبَاهُمْ عِش‍‍َا‌ءً يَ‍‍بْ‍‍ك‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qālū Yā 'Abānā 'Innā Dhahabnā Nastabiqu Wa Taraknā Yūsufa `Inda Matā`inā Fa'akalahu Adh-Dhi'bu ۖ Wa Mā 'Anta Bimu'uminin Lanā Wa Law Kunnā Şādiqīna (Yūsuf: 17). They said, "O father, we went off racing one another, and left Joseph by our belongings; and the wolf ate him. But you will not believe us, even though we are being truthful."‌ 012017 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ يَ‍‍ا أَبَانَ‍‍ا إِنَّ‍‍ا ذَهَ‍‍بْ‍‍نَا‌ نَسْتَبِ‍‍قُ ‌وَتَ‍رَكْنَا‌ يُوسُفَ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ‌ مَتَاعِنَا‌ فَأَكَلَهُ ‌ال‍‍ذِّئْبُ ۖ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ بِمُؤْمِنٍ لَنَا وَلَوْ‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ صَ‍‍ا‌دِ‍ق‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Jā'ū `Alá Qamīşihi Bidamin Kadhibin ۚ Qāla Bal Sawwalat Lakum 'Anfusukum 'Aman ۖ Faşabrun Jamīlun ۖ Wa Allāhu Al-Musta`ānu `Alá Mā Taşifūna (Yūsuf: 18). And they brought his shirt, with fake blood on it. He said, "Your souls enticed you to do something. But patience is beautiful, and God is my Help against what you describe."‌ 012018 وَج‍‍َا‌ء‍ُ‍‌و‌ا‌ عَلَى‌ قَ‍‍مِي‍‍صِ‍‍هِ بِدَمٍ كَذِبٍ ۚ قَ‍الَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسُكُمْ ‌أَمْر‌اً ۖ فَ‍‍صَ‍‍بْ‍‍رٌ جَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لٌ ۖ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌الْمُسْتَع‍‍َانُ عَلَى‌ مَا‌ تَ‍‍صِ‍‍ف‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Jā'at Sayyāratun Fa'arsalū Wa Aridahum Fa'adlá Dalwahu ۖ Qāla Yā Bushrá Hādhā Ghulāmun ۚ Wa 'Asarrūhu Biđā`atan ۚ Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Bimā Ya`malūna (Yūsuf: 19). A caravan passed by, and they sent their water-carrier. He lowered his bucket, and said, "Good news. Here is a boy."‌ And they hid him as merchandise. But God was aware of what they did. 012019 وَج‍‍َا‌ءَتْ سَيَّا‌‍رَةٌ فَأَ‌رْسَلُوا‌ ‌وَ‌ا‌رِ‌دَهُمْ فَأَ‌دْلَى دَلْوَهُ ۖ قَ‍الَ يَا‌ بُشْ‍رَ‌ى‌ هَذَ‌ا‌ غُ‍‍لاَمٌ ۚ ‌وَ‌أَسَرّ‍ُ‍‌وهُ بِ‍‍ضَ‍‍اعَةً ۚ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ عَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍م‌‍ٌ بِمَا‌ يَعْمَل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Sharawhu Bithamanin Bakhsin Dahima Ma`dūdatin Wa Kānū Fīhi Mina Az-Zāhidīna (Yūsuf: 20). And they sold him for a cheap price"”a few coins"”they considered him to be of little value. 012020 وَشَ‍رَ‌وْهُ بِثَمَنٍ بَ‍‍خْ‍‍سٍ ‌دَ‌‍رَ‌اهِمَ مَعْدُ‌و‌دَةٍ ‌وَكَانُوا‌ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍زَّ‌اهِد‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhī Ashtarāhu Min Mişra Li'imra'atihi 'Akrimī Mathwāhu `Asá 'An Yanfa`anā 'Aw Nattakhidhahu Waladāan ۚ Wa Kadhalika Makkannā Liyūsufa Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Linu`allimahu Min Ta'li Al-'Aĥādīthi ۚ Wa Allāhu Ghālibun `Alá 'Amrihi Wa Lakinna 'Akthara An-Nāsi Lā Ya`lamūna (Yūsuf: 21). The Egyptian who bought him said to his wife, "Take good care of him; he may be useful to us, or we may adopt him as a son."‌ We thus established Joseph in the land, to teach him the interpretation of events. God has control over His affairs, but most people do not know. 012021 وَ‍قَ‍الَ ‌الَّذِي ‌اشْتَ‍رَ‍‌اهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مِ‍‍صْ‍رَ‌ لِإمْ‍رَ‌أَتِهِ ‌أَكْ‍‍رِمِي مَثْو‍َ‍‌اهُ عَسَ‍‍ى أَ‌ن‌ْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍فَعَنَ‍‍ا أَ‌وْ‌ نَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذَهُ ‌وَلَد‌اً ۚ ‌وَكَذَلِكَ مَكَّ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لِيُوسُفَ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَأْ‌و‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌الأَحَا‌د‍ِ‍ي‍‍ثِ ۚ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ غَ‍‍الِبٌ عَلَ‍‍ى أَمْ‍‍رِهِ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ لاَ‌ يَعْلَم‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Lammā Balagha 'Ashuddahu 'Ātaynāhu Ĥukmāan Wa `Ilmāan ۚ Wa Kadhalika Naj Al-Muĥsinīna (Yūsuf: 22). When he reached his maturity, We gave him wisdom and knowledge. We thus reward the righteous. 012022 وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ بَلَ‍‍غَ ‌أَشُدَّهُ ‌آتَيْن‍‍َاهُ حُكْماً ‌وَعِلْماً ۚ ‌وَكَذَلِكَ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِي ‌الْمُحْسِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa wadat/hu Allatī Huwa Fī Baytihā `An Nafsihi Wa Ghallaqati Al-'Abwāba Wa Qālat Hayta Laka ۚ Qāla Ma`ādha Allāhi ۖ 'Innahu Rabbī 'Aĥsana Mathwāya ۖ 'Innahu Lā Yufliĥu Až-Žālimūna (Yūsuf: 23). She in whose house he was living tried to seduce him. She shut the doors, and said, "I am yours."‌ He said, "God forbid! He is my Lord. He has given me a good home. Sinners never succeed."‌ 012023 وَ‌‍رَ‌ا‌وَ‌دَتْهُ ‌الَّتِي هُوَ‌ فِي بَيْتِهَا‌ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَفْسِهِ ‌وَغَ‍‍لَّ‍‍قَ‍‍تِ ‌الأَبْ‍‍و‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌وَقَ‍‍الَتْ هَ‍‍يْ‍‍تَ لَكَ ۚ قَ‍الَ مَع‍‍َا‌ذَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ رَبِّ‍‍ي ‌أَحْسَنَ مَثْو‍َ‍‌ايَ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لاَ‌ يُفْلِحُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Laqad Hammat Bihi ۖ Wa Hamma Bihā Lawlā 'An Ra'á Burhāna Rabbihi ۚ Kadhālika Linaşrifa `Anhu As-Sū'a Wa Al-Faĥshā'a ۚ 'Innahu Min `Ibādinā Al-Mukhlaşīna (Yūsuf: 24). She desired him, and he desired her, had he not seen the proof of his Lord. It was thus that We diverted evil and indecency away from him. He was one of Our loyal servants. 012024 وَلَ‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ هَ‍‍مَّ‍‍تْ بِهِ ۖ ‌وَهَ‍‍مّ‌َ بِهَا‌ لَوْلاَ أَ‌ن‌ْ رَ‌أَ‌ى‌ بُرْه‍‍َانَ رَبِّهِ ۚ كَذَلِكَ لِنَ‍‍صْ‍‍رِفَ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌ال‍‍سّ‍‍ُ‍و‌ءَ وَ‌الْفَحْش‍‍َا‌ءَ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌ن‌ْ عِبَا‌دِنَا‌ ‌الْمُ‍‍خْ‍‍لَ‍‍ص‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Astabaqā Al-Bāba Wa Qaddat Qamīşahu Min Duburin Wa 'Alfayā Sayyidahā Ladá Al-Bābi ۚ Qālat Mā Jazā'u Man 'Arāda Bi'ahlika Sū'āan 'Illā 'An Yusjana 'Aw `Adhābun 'Alīmun (Yūsuf: 25). As they raced towards the door, she tore his shirt from behind. At the door, they ran into her husband. She said, "What is the penalty for him who desired to dishonor your wife, except imprisonment or a painful punishment?"‌ 012025 وَ‌اسْتَبَ‍‍قَ‍‍ا‌ ‌الْب‍‍َابَ ‌وَقَ‍‍دَّتْ قَ‍‍مِي‍‍صَ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُبُر‌ٍ ‌وَ‌أَلْفَيَا‌ سَيِّدَهَا‌ لَدَ‌ى‌ ‌الْب‍‍َابِ ۚ قَ‍‍الَتْ مَا‌ جَز‍َ‌اءُ‌ مَ‍‌نْ ‌أَ‌رَ‌ادَ‌ بِأَهْلِكَ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ء‌اً ‌إِلاَّ أَ‌ن‌ْ يُسْجَنَ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابٌ ‌أَل‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Qāla Hiya wadatnī `An Nafsī ۚ Wa Shahida Shāhidun Min 'Ahlihā 'In Kāna Qamīşuhu Qudda Min Qubulin Faşadaqat Wa Huwa Mina Al-Kādhibīna (Yūsuf: 26). He said, "It was she who tried to seduce me."‌ A witness from her household suggested: "If his shirt is torn from the front: then she has told the truth, and he is the liar. 012026 قَ‍الَ هِيَ رَ‌ا‌وَ‌دَتْنِي عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَفْسِي ۚ ‌وَشَهِدَ‌ شَاهِدٌ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَهْلِهَ‍‍ا إِ‌ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ قَ‍‍مِي‍‍صُ‍‍هُ قُ‍‍دَّ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قُ‍‍بُلٍ فَ‍‍صَ‍‍دَقَ‍‍تْ ‌وَهُوَ‌ مِنَ ‌الْكَا‌ذِب‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa 'In Kāna Qamīşuhu Qudda Min Duburin Fakadhabat Wa Huwa Mina Aş-Şādiqīna (Yūsuf: 27). But if his shirt is torn from the back: then she has lied, and he is the truthful."‌ 012027 وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ قَ‍‍مِي‍‍صُ‍‍هُ قُ‍‍دَّ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُبُر‌‌ٍ فَكَذَبَتْ ‌وَهُوَ‌ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِ‍ق‍‍ِي‍نَ
Falammā Ra'á Qamīşahu Qudda Min Duburin Qāla 'Innahu Min Kaydikunna ۖ 'Inna Kaydakunna `Ažīmun (Yūsuf: 28). And when he saw that his shirt was torn from the back, he said, "This is a woman's scheme. Your scheming is serious indeed."‌ 012028 فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا ‍رَ‌أَ‌ى‌ قَ‍‍مِي‍‍صَ‍‍هُ قُ‍‍دَّ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُبُر‌‌ٍ قَ‍الَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كَيْدِكُ‍‍نّ‌َ ۖ ‌إِنّ‌َ كَيْدَكُ‍‍نَّ عَ‍‍ظ‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Yūsufu 'A`riđ `An Hādhā ۚ Wa Astaghfirī Lidhanbiki ۖ 'Innaki Kunti Mina Al-Khāţi'īna (Yūsuf: 29). "Joseph, turn away from this. And you, woman, ask forgiveness for your sin; you are indeed in the wrong."‌ 012029 يُوسُفُ ‌أَعْ‍‍رِ‍ضْ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ هَذَ‌ا‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌اسْتَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رِي لِذَ‌نْ‍‍بِكِ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كِ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تِ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍اطِ‍‍ئ‍‍‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Qāla Niswatun Al-Madīnati Amra'atu Al-`Azīzi Tuwidu Fatāhā `An Nafsihi ۖ Qad Shaghafahā Ĥubbāan ۖ 'Innā Lanahā Fī Đalālin Mubīnin (Yūsuf: 30). Some ladies in the city said, "The governor's wife is trying to seduce her servant. She is deeply in love with him. We see she has gone astray."‌ 012030 وَ‍قَ‍الَ نِسْوَةٌ فِي ‌الْمَدِينَةِ ‌امْ‍رَ‌أَتُ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زِ‌ تُ‍رَ‌ا‌وِ‌دُ‌ فَتَاهَا‌ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَفْسِهِ ۖ قَ‍‍دْ‌ شَ‍‍غَ‍‍فَهَا‌ حُبّاً ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَنَ‍رَ‌اهَا‌ فِي ضَ‍‍لاَلٍ مُب‍‍ِي‍نٍ
Falammā Sami`at Bimakrihinna 'Arsalat 'Ilayhinna Wa 'A`tadat Lahunna Muttaka'an Wa 'Ātat Kulla Wāĥidatin Minhunna Sikkīnāan Wa Qālati Akhruj `Alayhinna ۖ Falammā Ra'aynahu 'Akbarnahu Wa Qaţţa`na 'Aydiyahunna Wa Qulna Ĥāsha Lillāh Mā Hādhā Bashaan 'In Hādhā 'Illā Malakun Karīmun (Yūsuf: 31). And when she heard of their gossip, she invited them, and prepared for them a banquet, and she gave each one of them a knife. She said, "Come out before them."‌ And when they saw him, they marveled at him, and cut their hands. They said, "Good God, this is not a human, this must be a precious angel."‌ 012031 فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ سَمِعَتْ بِمَكْ‍‍رِهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‌رْسَلَتْ ‌إِلَيْهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌وَ‌أَعْتَدَتْ لَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ مُتَّكَأً ‌وَ‌آتَتْ كُلَّ ‌وَ‌احِدَةٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ‍‍نّ‌َ سِكِّيناً ‌وَ‍قَ‍‍الَتِ ‌اخْ‍‍رُج‌ْ عَلَيْهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ۖ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا ‍رَ‌أَيْنَهُ ‌أَكْبَرْنَهُ ‌وَقَ‍‍طَّ‍‍عْنَ ‌أَيْدِيَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌وَقُ‍‍لْنَ ح‍‍َاشَ لِ‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ هَذَ‌ا‌ بَشَر‌اً ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ هَذَ‌ا إِلاَّ‌ مَلَكٌ كَ‍‍رِ‍ي‍مٌ
Qālat Fadhālikunna Al-Ladhī Lumtunnanī Fīhi ۖ Wa Laqad wadttuhu `An Nafsihi Fāsta`şama ۖ Wa La'in Lam Yaf`al Mā 'Āmuruhu Layusjananna Wa Layakūnāan Mina Aş-Şāghirīna (Yūsuf: 32). She said, "Here he is, the one you blamed me for. I did try to seduce him, but he resisted. But if he does not do what I tell him to do, he will be imprisoned, and will be one of the despised."‌ 012032 قَ‍‍الَتْ فَذَلِكُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الَّذِي لُمْتُ‍‍نَّ‍‍نِي ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ۖ ‌وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْرَ‌ا‌وَ‌دتُّهُ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَفْسِهِ فَاسْتَعْ‍‍صَ‍‍مَ ۖ ‌وَلَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ مَ‍‍ا آمُرُهُ لَيُسْجَنَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌وَلَيَكُوناً مِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍اغِ‍‍رِ‍ي‍نَ
Qāla Rabbi As-Sijnu 'Aĥabbu 'Ilayya Mimmā Yad`ūnanī 'Ilayhi ۖ Wa 'Illā Taşrif `Annī Kaydahunna 'Aşbu 'Ilayhinna Wa 'Akun Mina Al-Jāhilīna (Yūsuf: 33). He said, "My Lord, prison is more desirable to me than what they call me to. Unless You turn their scheming away from me, I may yield to them, and become one of the ignorant."‌ 012033 قَ‍الَ رَبِّ ‌ال‍‍سِّ‍‍جْ‍‍نُ ‌أَحَبُّ ‌إِلَيَّ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَ‍‍دْعُونَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِلاَّ‌ تَ‍‍صْ‍‍رِفْ عَ‍‍نِّ‍‍ي كَيْدَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍بُ ‌إِلَيْهِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌وَ‌أَكُ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مِنَ ‌الْجَاهِل‍‍ِي‍نَ
Fāstajāba Lahu Rabbuhu Faşarafa `Anhu Kaydahunna ۚ 'Innahu Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu (Yūsuf: 34). Thereupon his Lord answered him, and diverted their scheming away from him. He is the Hearer, the Knower. 012034 فَاسْتَج‍‍َابَ لَهُ رَبُّهُ فَ‍‍صَ‍رَفَ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ كَيْدَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ هُوَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍عُ ‌الْعَل‍‍ِي‍مُ
Thumma Badā Lahum Min Ba`di Mā Ra'aw Al-'Āyāti Layasjununnahu Ĥattá Ĥīnin (Yūsuf: 35). Then it occurred to them, after they had seen the signs, to imprison him for a while. 012035 ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ بَدَ‌ا‌ لَهُمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ‌ مَا ‍رَ‌أَ‌وُ‌ا‌ ‌الآي‍‍َاتِ لَيَسْجُنُ‍‍نَّ‍‍هُ حَتَّى‌ ح‍‍ِي‍نٍ
Wa Dakhala Ma`ahu As-Sijna Fatayāni ۖ Qāla 'Aĥaduhumā 'Innī 'Anī 'A`şiru Khaman ۖ Wa Qāla Al-'Ākharu 'Innī 'Anī 'Aĥmilu Fawqa Ra'sī Khubzāan Ta'kulu Aţ-Ţayru Minhu ۖ Nabbi'nā Bita'lihi ۖ 'Innā Narāka Mina Al-Muĥsinīna (Yūsuf: 36). Two youth entered the prison with him. One of them said, "I see myself pressing wine."‌ The other said, "I see myself carrying bread on my head, from which the birds are eating. Tell us their interpretation"”we see that you are one of the righteous."‌ 012036 وَ‌دَ‍خَ‍‍لَ مَعَهُ ‌ال‍‍سِّ‍‍جْ‍‍نَ فَتَي‍‍َانِ ۖ قَ‍الَ ‌أَحَدُهُمَ‍‍ا إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌‍رَ‌انِ‍‍ي ‌أَعْ‍‍صِ‍‍رُخَ‍‍مْر‌اً ۖ ‌وَقَ‍الَ ‌الآ‍‍خَ‍‍رُ إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌‍رَ‌انِ‍‍ي ‌أَحْمِلُ فَ‍‍وْ‍‍قَ رَ‌أْسِي خُ‍‍بْ‍‍ز‌اً تَأْكُلُ ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ۖ نَبِّئْنَا‌ بِتَأْ‌وِيلِهِ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ نَ‍رَ‍‌اكَ مِنَ ‌الْمُحْسِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qāla Lā Ya'tīkumā Ţa`āmun Turzaqānihi 'Illā Nabba'tukumā Bita'lihi Qabla 'An Ya'tiyakumā ۚ Dhālikumā Mimmā `Allamanī Rabbī ۚ 'Innī Taraktu Millata Qawmin Lā Yu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Hum Bil-'Ākhirati Hum Kāfirūna (Yūsuf: 37). He said, "No food is served to you, but I have informed you about it before you have received it. That is some of what my Lord has taught me. I have forsaken the tradition of people who do not believe in God; and regarding the Hereafter, they are deniers."‌ 012037 قَ‍الَ لاَ‌ يَأْتِيكُمَا‌ طَ‍‍ع‍‍َامٌ تُرْ‌زَقَ‍‍انِهِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ نَبَّأْتُكُمَا‌ بِتَأْ‌وِيلِهِ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَأْتِيَكُمَا‌ ۚ ‌ذَلِكُمَا‌ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ عَلَّمَنِي رَبِّ‍‍ي ۚ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي تَ‍رَكْتُ مِلَّةَ قَ‍‍وْمٍ لاَ‌ يُؤْمِن‍‍ُ‍ونَ بِ‍‍ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَهُمْ بِ‍‍الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ هُمْ كَافِر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Wa Attaba`tu Millata 'Ābā'ī 'Ibhīma Wa 'Isĥāqa Wa Ya`qūba ۚ Mā Kāna Lanā 'An Nushrika Billāhi Min Shay'in ۚ Dhālika Min Fađli Allāhi `Alaynā Wa `Alá An-Nāsi Wa Lakinna 'Akthara An-Nāsi Lā Yashkurūna (Yūsuf: 38). "And I have followed the faith of my forefathers, Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob. It is not for us to associate anything with God. This is by virtue of God's grace upon us and upon the people, but most people do not give thanks. 012038 وَ‌اتَّبَعْتُ مِلَّةَ ‌آب‍‍َائ‍‍ِ‍‍ي ‌إِبْ‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مَ ‌وَ‌إِسْح‍‍َاقَ ‌وَيَعْ‍‍قُ‍‍وبَ ۚ مَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ لَنَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ نُشْ‍‍رِكَ بِ‍‍ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍ضْ‍‍لِ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ لاَ‌ يَشْكُر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Şāĥibayi As-Sijni 'A'arbābun Mutafarriqūna Khayrun 'Ami Allāhu Al-Wāĥidu Al-Qahhāru (Yūsuf: 39). "O My fellow inmates, are diverse lords better, or God, the One, the Supreme?"‌ 012039 يَا‌ صَ‍‍احِبَيِ ‌ال‍‍سِّ‍‍جْ‍‍نِ ‌أَ‌أَ‌رْب‍‍َابٌ مُتَفَرِّ‍‍قُ‍‍ونَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ أَمِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌الْوَ‌احِدُ‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍هَّا‌رُ
Mā Ta`budūna Min Dūnihi 'Illā 'Asmā'an Sammaytumūhā 'Antum Wa 'Ābā'uukum Mā 'Anzala Allāhu Bihā Min Sulţānin ۚ 'Ini Al-Ĥukmu 'Illā Lillāh ۚ 'Amara 'Allā Ta`budū 'Illā 'Īyāhu ۚ Dhālika Ad-Dīnu Al-Qayyimu Wa Lakinna 'Akthara An-Nāsi Lā Ya`lamūna (Yūsuf: 40). "You do not worship, besides Him, except names you have named, you and your ancestors, for which God has sent down no authority. Judgment belongs to none but God. He has commanded that you worship none but Him. This is the right religion, but most people do not know. 012040 مَا‌ تَعْبُد‍ُ‍‌ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ ‌إِلاَّ أَسْم‍‍َا‌ءً سَ‍‍مَّ‍‍يْتُمُوهَ‍‍ا أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ ‌وَ‌آب‍‍َا‌ؤُكُمْ مَ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‍‍زَلَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ بِهَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سُلْ‍‍طَ‍انٍ ۚ ‌إِنِ ‌الْحُكْمُ ‌إِلاَّ لِ‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ۚ ‌أَمَ‍رَ أَلاَّ‌ تَعْبُدُ‌وا‌ ‌إِلاَّ إِيّ‍‍َاهُ ۚ ‌ذَلِكَ ‌ال‍‍دّ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نُ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍يِّمُ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ لاَ‌ يَعْلَم‍‍ُو‍نَ
Şāĥibayi As-Sijni 'Ammā 'Aĥadukumā Fayasqī Rabbahu Khaman ۖ Wa 'Ammā Al-'Ākharu Fayuşlabu Fata'kulu Aţ-Ţayru Min Ra'sihi ۚ Quđiya Al-'Amru Al-Ladhī Fīhi Tastaftiyāni (Yūsuf: 41). "O my fellow inmates! One of you will serve his master wine; while the other will be crucified, and the birds will eat from his head. Thus the matter you are inquiring about is settled."‌ 012041 يَا‌ صَ‍‍احِبَيِ ‌ال‍‍سِّ‍‍جْ‍‍نِ ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا أَحَدُكُمَا‌ فَيَسْ‍‍قِ‍‍ي رَبَّهُ خَ‍‍مْر‌اً ۖ ‌وَ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الآ‍‍خَ‍‍رُ‌ فَيُ‍‍صْ‍‍لَبُ فَتَأْكُلُ ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ رَ‌أْسِهِ ۚ قُ‍‍ضِ‍‍يَ ‌الأَمْرُ‌ ‌الَّذِي ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ تَسْتَفْتِيَ‍‍ا‍نِ
Wa Qāla Lilladhī Žanna 'Annahu Nājin Minhumā Adhkurnī `Inda Rabbika Fa'ansāhu Ash-Shayţānu Dhikra Rabbihi Falabitha Fī As-Sijni Biđ`a Sinīna (Yūsuf: 42). And he said to the one he thought would be released, "Mention me to your master."‌ But Satan caused him to forget mentioning him to his master, so he remained in prison for several years. 012042 وَ‍قَ‍الَ لِلَّذِي ظَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ ن‍‍َاجٍ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمَا‌ ‌ا‌ذْكُرْنِي عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‍رَبِّكَ فَأَ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َاهُ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انُ ‌ذِكْ‍رَرَبِّهِ فَلَبِثَ فِي ‌ال‍‍سِّ‍‍جْ‍‍نِ بِ‍‍ضْ‍‍عَ سِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Qāla Al-Maliku 'Innī 'Ará Sab`a Baqarātin Simānin Ya'kuluhunna Sab`un `Ijāfun Wa Sab`a Sunbulātin Khrin Wa 'Ukharaۖ Bisātin Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Mala'u 'Aftūnī Fī Ru'uyā Ya 'In Kuntum Lilrru'uyā Ta`burūna (Yūsuf: 43). The king said, "I see seven fat cows being eaten by seven lean ones, and seven green spikes, and others dried up. O elders, explain to me my vision, if you are able to interpret visions."‌ 012043 وَ‍قَ‍الَ ‌الْمَلِكُ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌‍رَ‌ى‌ سَ‍‍بْ‍‍عَ بَ‍‍قَ‍رَ‍‌اتٍ سِم‍‍َانٍ يَأْكُلُهُ‍‍نّ‌َ سَ‍‍بْ‍‍عٌ عِج‍‍َافٌ ‌وَسَ‍‍بْ‍‍عَ سُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍بُلاَتٍ خُ‍‍ضْ‍‍ر‌ٍ ‌وَ‌أُخَ‍رَ‌ يَابِس‍‍َاتٍ ۖ ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الْمَلَأُ أَفْتُونِي فِي ‌رُ‌ؤْي‍‍َايَ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ لِ‍‍ل‍‍رُّ‌ؤْيَا‌ تَعْبُر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Qālū 'Ađghāthu 'Aĥlāmin ۖ Wa Mā Naĥnu Bita'li Al-'Aĥlāmi Bi`ālimīna (Yūsuf: 44). They said, "Jumbles of dreams, and we know nothing of the interpretation of dreams."‌ 012044 قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَ‍ضْ‍‍غَ‍اثُ ‌أَحْلاَمٍ ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ نَحْنُ بِتَأْ‌و‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌الأَحْلاَمِ بِعَالِم‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhī Najā Minhumā Wa Aiddakara Ba`da 'Ummatin 'Anā 'Unabbi'ukum Bita'lihi Fa'arsilūni (Yūsuf: 45). The one who was released said, having remembered after a time, "I will inform you of its interpretation, so send me out."‌ 012045 وَ‍قَ‍الَ ‌الَّذِي نَجَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمَا وَ‌ا‍ِ‍‌دَّكَ‍رَ‌ بَعْدَ أُمَّ‍‍ةٍ ‌أَنَ‍‍ا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِتَأْ‌وِيلِهِ فَأَ‌رْسِل‍‍ُو‍نِ
Yūsufu 'Ayyuhā Aş-Şiddīqu 'Aftinā Fī Sab`i Baqarātin Simānin Ya'kuluhunna Sab`un `Ijāfun Wa Sab`i Sunbulātin Khrin Wa 'Ukhara Yā Bisātin La`allī 'Arji`u 'Ilá An-Nāsi La`allahum Ya`lamūna (Yūsuf: 46). "Joseph, O man of truth, inform us concerning seven fat cows being eaten by seven lean ones, and seven green spikes, and others dried up, so that I may return to the people, so that they may know."‌ 012046 يُوسُفُ ‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌ال‍‍صِّ‍‍دّ‍ِ‍ي‍‍قُ ‌أَفْتِنَا‌ فِي سَ‍‍بْ‍‍عِ بَ‍‍قَ‍رَ‍‌اتٍ سِم‍‍َانٍ يَأْكُلُهُ‍‍نّ‌َ سَ‍‍بْ‍‍عٌ عِج‍‍َافٌ ‌وَسَ‍‍بْ‍‍عِ سُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍بُلاَتٍ خُ‍‍ضْ‍‍ر‌ٍ ‌وَ‌أُخَ‍رَ‌ يَابِس‍‍َاتٍ لَعَلِّ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌رْجِعُ ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَعْلَم‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qāla Tazra`ūna Sab`a Sinīna Da'abāan Famā Ĥaşadtum Fadharūhu Fī Sunbulihi 'Illā Qalīlāan Mimmā Ta'kulūna (Yūsuf: 47). He said, "You will farm for seven consecutive years. But whatever you harvest, leave it in its spikes, except for the little that you eat."‌ 012047 قَ‍الَ تَزْ‌‍رَع‍‍ُ‍ونَ سَ‍‍بْ‍‍عَ سِن‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌دَ‌أَباً فَمَا‌ حَ‍‍صَ‍‍دْتُمْ فَذَ‌ر‍ُ‍‌وهُ فِي سُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍بُلِهِ ‌إِلاَّ قَ‍‍لِيلاً مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تَأْكُل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Thumma Ya'tī Min Ba`di Dhālika Sab`un Shidādun Ya'kulna Mā Qaddamtum Lahunna 'Illā Qalīlāan Mimmā Tuĥşinūna (Yūsuf: 48). Then after that will come seven difficult ones, which will consume what you have stored for them, except for the little that you have preserved. 012048 ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يَأْتِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ سَ‍‍بْ‍‍عٌ شِد‍َ‌ادٌ يَأْكُلْنَ مَا‌ قَ‍‍دَّمْتُمْ لَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌إِلاَّ قَ‍‍لِيلاً مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تُحْ‍‍صِ‍‍ن‍‍ُو‍نَ
Thumma Ya'tī Min Ba`di Dhālika `Āmun Fīhi Yughāthu An-Nāsu Wa Fīhi Ya`şirūna (Yūsuf: 49). Then after that will come a year that brings relief to the people, and during which they will press. 012049 ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ يَأْتِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ ع‍‍َامٌ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ يُ‍‍غَ‍اثُ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسُ ‌وَف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ يَعْ‍‍صِ‍‍ر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Wa Qāla Al-Maliku A'tūnī Bihi ۖ Falammā Jā'ahu Ar-Rasūlu Qāla Arji` 'Ilá Rabbika Fās'alhu Mā Bālu An-Niswati Al-Lātī Qaţţa`na 'Aydiyahunna ۚ 'Inna Rabbī Bikaydihinna `Alīmun (Yūsuf: 50). The king said, "Bring him to me."‌ And when the envoy came to him, he said, "Go back to your master, and ask him about the intentions of the women who cut their hands; my Lord is well aware of their schemes."‌ 012050 وَ‍قَ‍الَ ‌الْمَلِكُ ‌ائْتُونِي بِهِ ۖ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَهُ ‌ال‍رَّس‍‍ُ‍ولُ قَ‍الَ ‌ا‌رْجِعْ ‌إِلَى ‍رَبِّكَ فَاسْأَلْهُ مَا‌ ب‍‍َالُ ‌ال‍‍نِّ‍‍سْوَةِ ‌ال‍‍لاَّتِي قَ‍‍طَّ‍‍عْنَ ‌أَيْدِيَهُ‍‍نّ‌َ ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ رَبِّي بِكَيْدِهِ‍‍نَّ عَل‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Qāla Mā Khaţbukunna 'Idh wadttunna Yūsufa `An Nafsihi ۚ Qulna Ĥāsha Lillāh Mā `Alimnā `Alayhi Min Sū'in ۚ Qālati Amra'atu Al-`Azīzi Al-'Āna Ĥaşĥaşa Al-Ĥaqqu 'Anā wadttuhu `An Nafsihi Wa 'Innahu Lamina Aş-Şādiqīna (Yūsuf: 51). He said, "What was the matter with you, women, when you tried to seduce Joseph?"‌ They said, "God forbid! We knew of no evil committed by him."‌ The governor's wife then said, "Now the truth is out. It was I who tried to seduce him, and he is telling the truth."‌ 012051 قَ‍الَ مَا‌ خَ‍‍طْ‍‍بُكُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌إِ‌ذْ ‍رَ‌ا‌وَ‌دتُّ‍‍نّ‌َ يُوسُفَ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَفْسِهِ ۚ قُ‍‍لْنَ ح‍‍َاشَ لِ‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ عَلِمْنَا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ س‍‍ُ‍و‌ء‌‌ٍ ۚ قَ‍‍الَتِ ‌امْ‍رَ‌أَتُ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زِ‌ ‌الآنَ حَ‍‍صْ‍‍حَ‍‍صَ ‌الْحَ‍‍قُّ ‌أَنَا ‍رَ‌ا‌وَ‌دتُّهُ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَفْسِهِ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَمِنَ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍ا‌دِ‍ق‍‍ِي‍نَ
Dhālika Liya`lama 'Annī Lam 'Akhunhu Bil-Ghaybi Wa 'Anna Allāha Lā Yahdī Kayda Al-Khā'inīna (Yūsuf: 52). "This is that he may know that I did not betray him in secret, and that God does not guide the scheming of the betrayers."‌ 012052 ذَلِكَ لِيَعْلَمَ ‌أَنِّ‍‍ي لَمْ ‌أَ‍خُ‍‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ بِ‍‍الْ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍بِ ‌وَ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يَهْدِي كَ‍‍يْ‍‍دَ ‌الْ‍‍خَ‍‍ائِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Mā 'Ubarri'u Nafsī ۚ 'Inna An-Nafsa La'ammāratun Bis-Sū'i 'Illā Mā Raĥima Rabbī ۚ 'Inna Rabbī Ghafūrun Raĥīmun (Yūsuf: 53). "Yet I do not claim to be innocent. The soul commands evil, except those on whom my Lord has mercy. Truly my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."‌ 012053 وَمَ‍‍ا أُبَرِّئُ نَفْسِ‍‍ي ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌ال‍‍نَّ‍‍فْسَ لَأَمَّ‍‍ا‌‍رَة‌‍ٌ بِ‍‍ال‍‍سّ‍‍ُ‍و‌ءِ إِلاَّ‌ مَا ‍رَحِمَ رَبِّ‍‍ي ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ رَبِّي غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌ر‌ٌ رَح‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Wa Qāla Al-Maliku A'tūnī Bihi 'Astakhlişhu Linafsī ۖ Falammā Kallamahu Qāla 'Innaka Al-Yawma Ladaynā Makīnun 'Amīnun (Yūsuf: 54). The king said, "Bring him to me, and I will reserve him for myself."‌ And when he spoke to him, he said, "This day you are with us established and secure."‌ 012054 وَ‍قَ‍الَ ‌الْمَلِكُ ‌ائْتُونِي بِهِ ‌أَسْتَ‍‍خْ‍‍لِ‍‍صْ‍‍هُ لِنَفْسِي ۖ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ كَلَّمَهُ قَ‍الَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ ‌الْيَ‍‍وْمَ لَدَيْنَا‌ مَك‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نٌ ‌أَم‍‍ِي‍نٌ
Qāla Aj`alnī `Alá Khazā'ini Al-'Arđi ۖ 'Innī Ĥafīžun `Alīmun (Yūsuf: 55). He said, "Put me in charge of the storehouses of the land; I am honest and knowledgeable."‌ 012055 قَ‍الَ ‌اجْ‍‍عَلْنِي عَلَى‌ خَ‍‍ز‍َ‍‌ائِنِ ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ۖ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي حَف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍ظٌ عَل‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Wa Kadhalika Makkannā Liyūsufa Fī Al-'Arđi Yatabawwa'u Minhā Ĥaythu Yashā'u ۚ Nuşību Biraĥmatinā Man Nashā'u ۖ Wa Lā Nuđī`u 'Ajra Al-Muĥsinīna (Yūsuf: 56). And thus We established Joseph in the land, to live therein wherever he wished. We touch with Our mercy whomever We will, and We never waste the reward of the righteous. 012056 وَكَذَلِكَ مَكَّ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لِيُوسُفَ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ يَتَبَوَّ‌أُ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ حَ‍‍يْ‍‍ثُ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۚ نُ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍بُ بِ‍رَحْمَتِنَا‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ نُ‍‍ضِ‍‍ي‍‍عُ ‌أَجْ‍رَ‌الْمُحْسِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa La'ajru Al-'Ākhirati Khayrun Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Kānū Yattaqūna (Yūsuf: 57). But the reward of the Hereafter is better for those who believe and observed piety. 012057 وَلَأَجْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا‌ ‌وَكَانُوا‌ يَتَّ‍‍ق‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Jā'a 'Ikhwatu Yūsufa Fadakhalū `Alayhi Fa`arafahum Wa Hum Lahu Munkirūna (Yūsuf: 58). And Joseph's brothers came, and entered into his presence. He recognized them, but they did not recognize him. 012058 وَج‍‍َا‌ءَ إِ‍خْ‍‍وَةُ يُوسُفَ فَدَ‍خَ‍‍لُوا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ فَعَ‍رَفَهُمْ ‌وَهُمْ لَهُ مُ‍‌‍ن‍‍كِر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Wa Lammā Jahhazahum Bijahāzihim Qāla A'tūnī Bi'akhin Lakum Min 'Abīkum ۚ 'Alā Tarawna 'Annī 'Ūfī Al-Kayla Wa 'Anā Khayru Al-Munzilīna (Yūsuf: 59). When he provided them with their provisions, he said, "Bring me a brother of yours from your father. Do you not see that I fill up the measure, and I am the best of hosts?"‌ 012059 وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ جَهَّزَهُمْ بِجَهَا‌زِهِمْ قَ‍الَ ‌ائْتُونِي بِأَ‍خ‍ٍ لَكُمْ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَبِيكُمْ ۚ ‌أَلاَ‌ تَ‍رَ‌وْنَ ‌أَنِّ‍‍ي ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وفِي ‌الْكَ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌وَ‌أَنَا‌ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌الْمُ‍‌‍ن‍‍زِل‍‍ِي‍نَ
Fa'in Lam Ta'tūnī Bihi Falā Kayla Lakum `Indī Wa Lā Taqrabūni (Yūsuf: 60). "But if you do not bring him to me, you will have no measure from me, and you will not come near me."‌ 012060 فَإِ‌ن‌ْ لَمْ تَأْتُونِي بِهِ فَلاَ‌ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ لَكُمْ عِ‍‌‍ن‍‍دِي ‌وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍قْ‍رَب‍‍ُو‍نِ
Qālū Sanuwidu `Anhu 'Abāhu Wa 'Innā Lafā`ilūna (Yūsuf: 61). They said, "We will solicit him from his father. We will surely do."‌ 012061 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ سَنُ‍رَ‌ا‌وِ‌دُ‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ ‌أَب‍‍َاهُ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَفَاعِل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Qāla Lifityānihi Aj`alū Biđā`atahumRiĥālihim La`allahum Ya`rifūnahā 'Idhā Anqalabū 'Ilá 'Ahlihim La`allahum Yarji`ūna (Yūsuf: 62). He said to his servants, "Put their goods in their saddlebags; perhaps they will recognize them when they return to their families, and maybe they will come back."‌ 012062 وَ‍قَ‍الَ لِفِتْيَانِهِ ‌اجْ‍‍عَلُوا‌ بِ‍‍ضَ‍‍اعَتَهُمْ فِي ‌رِحَالِهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَعْ‍‍رِفُونَهَ‍‍ا إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌ان‍‍قَ‍‍لَبُ‍‍وا‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍ى أَهْلِهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِع‍‍ُو‍نَ
Falammā Raja`ū 'Ilá 'Abīhim Qālū Yā 'Abānā Muni`a Minnā Al-Kaylu Fa'arsil Ma`anā 'Akhānā Naktal Wa 'Innā Lahu Laĥāfižūna (Yūsuf: 63). When they returned to their father, they said, "O father, we were denied measure, but send our brother with us, and we will obtain measure. We will take care of him."‌ 012063 فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا ‍رَجَعُ‍‍وا‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍ى أَبِيهِمْ قَ‍‍الُوا‌ يَ‍‍ا أَبَانَا‌ مُنِعَ مِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الْكَ‍‍يْ‍‍لُ فَأَ‌رْسِلْ مَعَنَ‍‍ا أَ‍خَ‍‍انَا‌ نَكْتَلْ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَهُ لَحَافِ‍‍ظ‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qāla Hal 'Āmanukum `Alayhi 'Illā Kamā 'Amintukum `Alá 'Akhīhi Min Qablu ۖ Fa-Allāhu Khayrun Ĥāfižāan ۖ Wa Huwa 'Arĥamu Ar-ĥimīna (Yūsuf: 64). He said, "Shall I trust you with him, as I trusted you with his brother before? God is the Best Guardian, and He is the Most Merciful of the merciful."‌ 012064 قَ‍الَ هَلْ ‌آمَنُكُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌إِلاَّ‌ كَمَ‍‍ا أَمِ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُكُمْ عَلَ‍‍ى أَ‍خِ‍‍ي‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ ۖ فَ‍‍اللَّهُ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ‌ حَافِ‍‍ظ‍‍اً ۖ ‌وَهُوَ أَ‌رْحَمُ ‌ال‍رَّ‌احِم‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Lammā Fataĥū Matā`ahum Wa Jadū Biđā`atahum Ruddat 'Ilayhim ۖ Qālū Yā 'Abānā Mā Nabghī ۖ Hadhihi Biđā`atunā Ruddat 'Ilaynā ۖ Wa Namīru 'Ahlanā Wa Naĥfažu 'Akhānā Wa Nazdādu Kayla Ba`īrin ۖ Dhālika Kaylun Yasīrun (Yūsuf: 65). And when they opened their baggage, they found that their goods were returned to them. They said, "Father, what more do we want? Here are our goods, returned to us. We will provide for our family, and protect our brother, and have an additional camel-load. This is easy commerce."‌ 012065 وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ فَتَحُوا‌ مَتَاعَهُمْ ‌وَجَدُ‌وا‌ بِ‍‍ضَ‍‍اعَتَهُمْ ‌رُ‌دَّتْ ‌إِلَيْهِمْ ۖ قَ‍‍الُوا‌ يَ‍‍ا أَبَانَا‌ مَا‌ نَ‍‍بْ‍‍غِ‍‍ي ۖ هَذِهِ بِ‍‍ضَ‍‍اعَتُنَا رُ‌دَّتْ ‌إِلَيْنَا‌ ۖ ‌وَنَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رُ‌أَهْلَنَا وَنَحْفَ‍‍ظُ ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍انَا وَنَزْ‌د‍َ‌ادُ‌ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ بَع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍ر‌ٍ ۖ ‌ذَلِكَ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍لٌ يَس‍‍ِي‍رٌ
Qāla Lan 'Ursilahu Ma`akum Ĥattá Tu'utūni Mawthiqāan Mina Allāhi Lata'tunanī Bihi 'Illā 'An Yuĥāţa Bikum ۖ Falammā 'Ātawhu Mawthiqahum Qāla Allāhu `Alá Mā Naqūlu Wa Kīlun (Yūsuf: 66). He said, "I will not send him with you, unless you give me a pledge before God that you will bring him back to me, unless you get trapped."‌ And when they gave him their pledge, he said, "God is witness to what we say."‌ 012066 قَ‍الَ لَ‍‌نْ ‌أُ‌رْسِلَهُ مَعَكُمْ حَتَّى‌ تُؤْت‍‍ُ‍ونِ مَوْثِ‍‍ق‍‍اً مِنَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ لَتَأْتُنَنِي بِهِ ‌إِلاَّ أَ‌ن‌ْ يُح‍‍َاطَ بِكُمْ ۖ فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا آتَ‍‍وْهُ مَوْثِ‍‍قَ‍‍هُمْ قَ‍الَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ عَلَى‌ مَا‌ نَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ ‌وَك‍‍ِي‍لٌ
Wa Qāla Yā Banīya Lā Tadkhulū Min Bābin Wāĥidin Wa Adkhulū Min 'Abwābin Mutafarriqatin ۖ Wa Mā 'Ughnī `Ankum Mina Allāhi Min Shay'in ۖ 'Ini Al-Ĥukmu 'Illā Lillāh ۖ `Alayhi Tawakkaltu ۖ Wa `Alayhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mutawakkilūna (Yūsuf: 67). And he said, "O my sons, do not enter by one gate, but enter by different gates. I cannot avail you anything against God. The decision rests only with God. On Him I rely, and on Him let the reliant rely."‌ 012067 وَ‍قَ‍الَ يَا‌ بَنِيَّ لاَ‌ تَ‍‍دْ‍خُ‍‍لُوا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ب‍‍َابٍ ‌وَ‌احِد‌ٍ ‌وَ‌ا‌دْ‍خُ‍‍لُوا‌ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَبْ‍‍و‍َ‍‌ابٍ مُتَفَرِّ‍‍قَ‍‍ةٍ ۖ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أُغْ‍‍نِي عَ‍‌‍ن‍‍كُمْ مِنَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ ۖ ‌إِنِ ‌الْحُكْمُ ‌إِلاَّ لِ‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ۖ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ ‌وَعَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ‌الْمُتَوَكِّل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Lammā Dakhalū Min Ĥaythu 'Amarahum 'Abūhum Mmā Kāna Yughnī `Anhum Mmina Allāhi Min Shay'in 'Illā Ĥājatan Fī Nafsi Ya`qūba Qađāhā ۚ Wa 'Innahu Ladhū `Ilmin Limā `Allamnāhu Wa Lakinna 'Akthara An-Nāsi Lā Ya`lamūna (Yūsuf: 68). And when they entered as their father had instructed them, it did not avail them anything against God; it was just a need in the soul of Jacob, which he carried out. He was a person of knowledge inasmuch as We had taught him, but most people do not know. 012068 وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا دَ‍خَ‍‍لُو‌اْ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ حَ‍‍يْ‍‍ثُ ‌أَمَ‍رَهُمْ ‌أَبُوهُ‍‍م مَّ‍‍ا‌ ك‍‍َانَ يُ‍‍غْ‍‍نِي عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ‍‍م مِّ‍‍نَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَ‍‍يْء‌‌ٍ ‌إِلاَّ‌ حَاجَةً فِي نَفْسِ يَعْ‍‍قُ‍‍وبَ قَ‍‍ضَ‍‍اهَا‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَذُ‌و‌ عِلْمٍ لِمَا‌ عَلَّمْن‍‍َاهُ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ لاَ‌ يَعْلَم‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Lammā Dakhalū `Alá Yūsufa 'Āwá 'Ilayhi 'Akhāhu ۖ Qāla 'Innī 'Anā 'Akhūka Falā Tabta'is Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna (Yūsuf: 69). And when they entered into the presence of Joseph, he embraced his brother, and said, "I am your brother; do not be saddened by what they used to do."‌ 012069 وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا دَ‍خَ‍‍لُوا‌ عَلَى‌ يُوسُفَ ‌آ‌وَ‌ى إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌أَ‍خَ‍اهُ ۖ قَ‍الَ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَنَ‍‍ا أَ‍خُ‍‍وكَ فَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍بْ‍‍تَئِسْ بِمَا‌ كَانُوا‌ يَعْمَل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Falammā Jahhazahum Bijahāzihim Ja`ala As-Siqāyata Fī Raĥli 'Akhīhi Thumma 'Adhdhana Mu'uadhdhinun 'Ayyatuhā Al-`Īru 'Innakum Lasāriqūna (Yūsuf: 70). Then, when he provided them with their provisions, he placed the drinking-cup in his brother's saddlebag. Then an announcer called out, "O people of the caravan, you are thieves."‌ 012070 فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ جَهَّزَهُمْ بِجَهَا‌زِهِمْ جَعَلَ ‌ال‍‍سِّ‍‍قَ‍‍ايَةَ فِي رَحْلِ ‌أَ‍خِ‍‍ي‍‍هِ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌أَ‌ذَّنَ مُؤَ‌ذِّنٌ ‌أَيَّتُهَا‌ ‌الْع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رُ‌إِنَّ‍‍كُمْ لَسَا‌رِ‍ق‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qālū Wa 'Aqbalū `Alayhimdhā Tafqidūna (Yūsuf: 71). They said, as they came towards them, "What are you missing?"‌ 012071 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ ‌وَ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍بَلُوا‌ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا‌ذَ‌ا‌ تَفْ‍‍قِ‍‍د‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Qālū Nafqidu Şuwā`a Al-Maliki Wa Liman Jā'a Bihi Ĥimlu Ba`īrin Wa 'Anā Bihi Za`īmun (Yūsuf: 72). They said, "We are missing the king's goblet. Whoever brings it will have a camel-load; and I personally guarantee it."‌ 012072 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ نَفْ‍‍قِ‍‍دُ‌ صُ‍‍و‍َ‍‌اعَ ‌الْمَلِكِ ‌وَلِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ج‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ بِهِ حِمْلُ بَع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍ر‌ٍ ‌وَ‌أَنَا‌ بِهِ ‌زَع‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Qālū Ta-Allāhi Laqad `Alimtum Mā Ji'nā Linufsida Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Kunnā Sāriqīna (Yūsuf: 73). They said, "By God, you know we did not come to cause trouble in the land, and we are not thieves."‌ 012073 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ تَاللَّهِ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ عَلِمْتُمْ مَا‌ جِئْنَا‌ لِنُفْسِدَ‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَمَا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ سَا‌رِ‍ق‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qālū Famā Jazā'uuhu 'In Kuntumdhibīna (Yūsuf: 74). They said, "What shall be his punishment, if you are lying?"‌ 012074 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ فَمَا‌ جَز‍َ‌اؤُهُ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ كَا‌ذِب‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qālū Jazā'uuhu Man Wujida Fī Raĥlihi Fahuwa Jazā'uuhu ۚ Kadhālika Naj Až-Žālimīna (Yūsuf: 75). They said, "His punishment, if it is found in his bag: he will belong to you. Thus we penalize the guilty."‌ 012075 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ جَز‍َ‌اؤُهُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وُجِدَ‌ فِي رَحْلِهِ فَهُوَ‌ جَز‍َ‌اؤُهُ ۚ كَذَلِكَ نَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِي ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِم‍‍ِي‍نَ
Fabada'a Bi'aw`iyatihim Qabla Wi`ā'i 'Akhīhi Thumma Astakhrajahā Min Wi`ā'i 'Akhīhi ۚ Kadhālika Kidnā Liyūsufa ۖ Mā Kāna Liya'khudha 'Akhāhu Fī Dīni Al-Maliki 'Illā 'An Yashā'a Allāhu ۚ Narfa`u Darajātin Man Nashā'u ۗ Wa Fawqa Kulli Dhī `Ilmin `Alīmun (Yūsuf: 76). So he began with their bags, before his brother's bag. Then he pulled it out of his brother's bag. Thus We devised a plan for Joseph; he could not have detained his brother under the king's law, unless God so willed. We elevate by degrees whomever We will; and above every person of knowledge, there is one more learned. 012076 فَبَدَ‌أَ‌ بِأَ‌وْعِيَتِهِمْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لَ ‌وِع‍‍َا‌ءِ أَ‍خِ‍‍ي‍‍هِ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌اسْتَ‍‍خْ‍رَجَهَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وِع‍‍َا‌ءِ أَ‍خِ‍‍ي‍‍هِ ۚ كَذَلِكَ كِ‍‍دْنَا‌ لِيُوسُفَ ۖ مَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ لِيَأْخُ‍‍ذَ أَ‍خَ‍اهُ فِي ‌د‍ِ‍ي‍‍نِ ‌الْمَلِكِ ‌إِلاَّ أَ‌ن‌ْ يَش‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ۚ نَرْفَعُ ‌دَ‌‍رَج‍‍َاتٍ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۗ ‌وَفَ‍‍وْ‍‍قَ كُلِّ ‌ذِي عِلْمٍ عَل‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Qālū 'In Yasriq Faqad Saraqa 'Akhun Lahu Min Qablu ۚ Fa'asarrahā Yūsufu Fī Nafsihi Wa Lam Yubdihā Lahum ۚ Qāla 'Antum Sharrun Makānāan ۖ Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Taşifūna (Yūsuf: 77). They said, "If he has stolen, a brother of his has stolen before."‌ But Joseph kept it to himself, and did not reveal it to them. He said, "You are in a worse situation, and God is Aware of what you allege."‌ 012077 قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا‌ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ يَسْ‍‍رِ‍ق‌ْ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ سَ‍رَقَ ‌أَ‍خ‍ ٌ لَهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ ۚ فَأَسَ‍رَّهَا‌ يُوسُفُ فِي نَفْسِهِ ‌وَلَمْ يُ‍‍بْ‍‍دِهَا‌ لَهُمْ ۚ قَ‍الَ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ شَرٌّ مَكَاناً ۖ ‌وَ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَعْلَمُ بِمَا‌ تَ‍‍صِ‍‍ف‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qālū Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-`Azīzu 'Inna Lahu 'Abāan Shaykhāan Kabīan Fakhudh 'Aĥadanā Makānahu ۖ 'Innā Narāka Mina Al-Muĥsinīna (Yūsuf: 78). They said, "O noble prince, he has a father, a very old man, so take one of us in his place. We see that you are a good person."‌ 012078 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ يَ‍‍ا أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ إِنّ‌َ لَهُ ‌أَباً شَيْ‍‍خ‍‍اً كَبِي‍‍ر‌اً فَ‍‍خُ‍‍ذْ أَحَدَنَا‌ مَكَانَهُ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ نَ‍رَ‍‌اكَ مِنَ ‌الْمُحْسِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qāla Ma`ādha Allāhi 'An Na'khudha 'Illā Man Wajadnā Matā`anā `Indahu 'Innā 'Idhāan Lažālimūna (Yūsuf: 79). He said, "God forbid that we should arrest anyone except him in whose possession we found our property; for then we would be unjust."‌ 012079 قَ‍الَ مَع‍‍َا‌ذَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ نَأْخُ‍‍ذَ إِلاَّ‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌وَجَ‍‍دْنَا‌ مَتَاعَنَا‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهُ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا إِ‌ذ‌اً لَ‍‍ظَ‍‍الِم‍‍ُو‍نَ
Falammā Astay'asū Minhu Khalaşū Najīan ۖ Qāla Kabīruhum 'Alam Ta`lamū 'Anna 'Abākum Qad 'Akhadha `Alaykum Mawthiqāan Mina Allāhi Wa Min Qablu Mā Farraţtum Fī Yūsufa ۖ Falan 'Abraĥa Al-'Arđa Ĥattá Ya'dhana Lī 'Abī 'Aw Yaĥkuma Allāhu Lī ۖ Wa Huwa Khayru Al-Ĥākimīna (Yūsuf: 80). And when they despaired of him, they conferred privately. Their eldest said, "Don't you know that your father received a pledge from you before God, and in the past you failed with regard to Joseph? I will not leave this land until my father permits me, or God decides for me; for He is the Best of Deciders."‌ 012080 فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌اسْتَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئَسُوا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍صُ‍‍وا‌ نَجِيّاً ۖ قَ‍الَ كَبِيرُهُمْ ‌أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَنّ‌َ ‌أَبَاكُمْ قَ‍‍دْ أَ‍خَ‍‍ذَ‌ عَلَيْكُمْ مَوْثِ‍‍ق‍‍اً مِنَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ مَا‌ فَ‍رَّ‍ط‍‍تُمْ فِي يُوسُفَ ۖ فَلَ‍‌نْ ‌أَبْ‍رَحَ ‌الأَ‌رْضَ حَتَّى‌ يَأْ‌ذَنَ لِ‍‍ي ‌أَبِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌وْ‌ يَحْكُمَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ لِي ۖ ‌وَهُوَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ ‌الْحَاكِم‍‍ِي‍نَ
Arji`ū 'Ilá 'Abīkum Faqūlū Yā 'Abānā 'Inna Abnaka Saraqa Wa Mā Shahidnā 'Illā Bimā `Alimnā Wa Mā Kunnā Lilghaybi Ĥāfižīna (Yūsuf: 81). "Go back to your father, and say, "کOur father, your son has stolen. We testify only to what we know, and we could not have prevented the unforeseen.'"‌ 012081 ا‌رْجِعُ‍‍وا‌ ‌إِلَ‍‍ى أَبِيكُمْ فَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُوا‌ يَ‍‍ا أَبَانَ‍‍ا إِنّ‌َ ‌ابْ‍‍نَكَ سَ‍رَقَ ‌وَمَا‌ شَهِ‍‍دْنَ‍‍ا إِلاَّ‌ بِمَا‌ عَلِمْنَا وَمَا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لِلْ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍بِ حَافِ‍‍ظ‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa As'ali Al-Qaryata Allatī Kunnā Fīhā Wa Al-`Īra Allatī 'Aqbalnā Fīhā ۖ Wa 'Innā Laşādiqūna (Yūsuf: 82). "Ask the town where we were, and the caravan in which we came. We are being truthful."‌ 012082 وَ‌اسْأَلِ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍رْيَةَ ‌الَّتِي كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ فِيهَا وَ‌الْع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رَ ‌الَّتِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‍قْ‍‍بَلْنَا‌ فِيهَا‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَ‍‍صَ‍‍ا‌دِ‍ق‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qāla Bal Sawwalat Lakum 'Anfusukum 'Aman ۖ Faşabrun Jamīlun ۖ `Asá Allāhu 'An Ya'tiyanī Bihim Jamī`āan ۚ 'Innahu Huwa Al-`Alīmu Al-Ĥakīmu (Yūsuf: 83). He said, "Rather, your souls have contrived something for you. Patience is a virtue. Perhaps God will bring them all back to me. He is the Knowing, the Wise."‌ 012083 قَ‍الَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ ‌أَ‌ن‍‍فُسُكُمْ ‌أَمْر‌اً ۖ فَ‍‍صَ‍‍بْ‍‍رٌ جَم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لٌ ۖ عَسَى‌ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ يَأْتِيَنِي بِهِمْ جَمِيعاً ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ هُوَ ‌الْعَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مُ ‌الْحَك‍‍ِي‍مُ
Wa Tawallá `Anhum Wa Qāla Yā 'Asafá `Alá Yūsufa Wa Abyađđat `Aynāhu Mina Al-Ĥuzni Fahuwa Kažīmun (Yūsuf: 84). Then he turned away from them, and said, "O my bitterness for Joseph."‌ And his eyes turned white from sorrow, and he became depressed. 012084 وَتَوَلَّى‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌وَ‍قَ‍الَ يَ‍‍ا أَسَفَى‌ عَلَى‌ يُوسُفَ ‌وَ‌ابْ‍‍يَ‍‍ضَّ‍‍تْ عَيْن‍‍َاهُ مِنَ ‌الْحُزْنِ فَهُوَ‌ كَ‍‍ظ‍‍ِي‍مٌ
Qālū Ta-Allāhi Tafta'u Tadhkuru Yūsufa Ĥattá Takūna Ĥarađāan 'Aw Takūna Mina Al-Hālikīna (Yūsuf: 85). They said, "By God, you will not stop remembering Joseph, until you have ruined your health, or you have passed away."‌ 012085 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ تَاللَّهِ تَفْتَأُ‌ تَذْكُرُ‌ يُوسُفَ حَتَّى‌ تَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ حَ‍رَض‍‍اً أَ‌وْ‌ تَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِنَ ‌الْهَالِك‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qāla 'Innamā 'Ashkū Baththī Wa Ĥuznī 'Ilá Allāhi Wa 'A`lamu Mina Allāhi Mā Lā Ta`lamūna (Yūsuf: 86). He said, "I only complain of my grief and sorrow to God, and I know from God what you do not know."‌ 012086 قَ‍الَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا أَشْكُو‌ بَثِّي ‌وَحُزْنِ‍‍ي ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌أَعْلَمُ مِنَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ لاَ‌ تَعْلَم‍‍ُو‍نَ
Yā Banīya Adh/habū Fataĥassasū Min Yūsufa Wa 'Akhīhi Wa Lā Tay'asū Min Rai Allāhi ۖ 'Innahu Lā Yay'asu Min Rai Allāhi 'Illā Al-Qawmu Al-Kāfirūna (Yūsuf: 87). "O my sons, go and inquire about Joseph and his brother, and do not despair of God's comfort. None despairs of God's comfort except the disbelieving people."‌ 012087 يَا‌ بَنِيَّ ‌ا‌ذْهَبُوا‌ فَتَحَسَّسُوا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُوسُفَ ‌وَ‌أَ‍خِ‍‍ي‍‍هِ ‌وَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئَسُوا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ رَ‌وْحِ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لاَ‌ يَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئَسُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ رَ‌وْحِ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌إِلاَّ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمُ ‌الكَافِر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Falammā Dakhalū `Alayhi Qālū Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-`Azīzu Massanā Wa 'Ahlanā Ađ-Đurru Wa Ji'nā Bibiđā`atin Muzjāatin Fa'awfi Lanā Al-Kayla Wa Taşaddaq `Alaynā ۖ 'Inna Allāha Yaj Al-Mutaşaddiqīna (Yūsuf: 88). Then, when they entered into his presence, they said, "Mighty governor, adversity has befallen us, and our family. We have brought scant merchandise. But give us full measure, and be charitable towards us"”God rewards the charitable."‌ 012088 فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا دَ‍خَ‍‍لُوا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ قَ‍‍الُوا‌ يَ‍‍ا أَيُّهَا‌ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ مَسَّنَا وَ‌أَهْلَنَا‌ ‌ال‍‍ضُّ‍‍رُّ وَجِئْنَا‌ بِبِ‍‍ضَ‍‍اعَةٍ مُزْج‍‍َاةٍ فَأَ‌وْفِ لَنَا‌ ‌الْكَ‍‍يْ‍‍لَ ‌وَتَ‍‍صَ‍‍دَّ‍ق‌ْ عَلَيْنَ‍‍اۖ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍زِي ‌الْمُتَ‍‍صَ‍‍دِّ‍‍ق‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qāla Hal `Alimtum Mā Fa`altum Biyūsufa Wa 'Akhīhi 'Idh 'Antum Jāhilūna (Yūsuf: 89). He said, "Do you realize what you did with Joseph and his brother, in your ignorance?"‌ 012089 قَ‍الَ هَلْ عَلِمْتُمْ مَا‌ فَعَلْتُمْ بِيُوسُفَ ‌وَ‌أَ‍خِ‍‍ي‍‍هِ ‌إِ‌ذْ أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ جَاهِل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qālū 'A'innaka La'anta Yūsufu ۖ Qāla 'Anā Yūsufu Wa Hadhā 'Akhī ۖ Qad Manna Allāhu `Alaynā ۖ 'Innahu Man Yattaqi Wa Yaşbir Fa'inna Allāha Lā Yuđī`u 'Ajra Al-Muĥsinīna (Yūsuf: 90). They said, "Is that you, Joseph?"‌ He said, "I am Joseph, and this is my brother. God has been gracious to us. He who practices piety and patience"”God never fails to reward the righteous."‌ 012090 قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَئِ‍‍نَّ‍‍كَ لَأَ‌نْ‍‍تَ يُوسُفُ ۖ قَ‍الَ ‌أَنَا‌ يُوسُفُ ‌وَهَذَ‌ا أَ‍خِ‍‍ي ۖ قَ‍‍دْ‌ مَ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ عَلَيْنَ‍‍اۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَتَّ‍‍قِ ‌وَيَ‍‍صْ‍‍بِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ فَإِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ لاَ‌ يُ‍‍ضِ‍‍ي‍‍عُ ‌أَجْ‍رَ‌الْمُحْسِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qālū Ta-Allāhi Laqadtharaka Allāhu `Alaynā Wa 'In Kunnā Lakhāţi'īna (Yūsuf: 91). They said, "By God, God has preferred you over us. We were definitely in the wrong."‌ 012091 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ تَاللَّهِ لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ آثَ‍رَكَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ عَلَيْنَا وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لَ‍‍خَ‍‍اطِ‍‍ئ‍‍‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qāla Lā Tathrība `Alaykumu Al-Yawma ۖ Yaghfiru Allāhu Lakum ۖ Wa Huwa 'Arĥamu Ar-ĥimīna (Yūsuf: 92). He said, "There is no blame upon you today. God will forgive you. He is the Most Merciful of the merciful."‌ 012092 قَ‍الَ لاَ‌ تَثْ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍بَ عَلَيْكُمُ ‌الْيَ‍‍وْمَ ۖ يَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رُ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمْ ۖ ‌وَهُوَ أَ‌رْحَمُ ‌ال‍رَّ‌احِم‍‍ِي‍نَ
Adh/habū Biqamīşī Hādhā Fa'alqūhu `Alá Wajhi 'Abī Ya'ti Başīan Wa 'Tūnī Bi'ahlikum 'Ajma`īna (Yūsuf: 93). "Take this shirt of mine, and lay it over my father's face, and he will recover his sight. And bring your whole family to me."‌ 012093 ا‌ذْهَبُوا‌ بِ‍‍قَ‍‍مِي‍‍صِ‍‍ي هَذَ‌ا‌ فَأَلْ‍‍قُ‍‍وهُ عَلَى وَجْ‍‍هِ ‌أَبِي يَأْتِ بَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍ر‌اً ‌وَ‌أْتُونِي بِأَهْلِكُمْ ‌أَجْ‍‍مَع‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Lammā Faşalati Al-`Īru Qāla 'Abūhum 'Innī La'ajidu Rīĥa Yūsufa ۖ Lawlā 'An Tufannidūni (Yūsuf: 94). As the caravan set out, their father said, "I sense the presence of Joseph, though you may think I am senile."‌ 012094 وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ فَ‍‍صَ‍‍لَتِ ‌الْع‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رُقَ‍الَ ‌أَبُوهُمْ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي لَأَجِدُ‌ ‌ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍حَ يُوسُفَ ۖ لَوْلاَ أَ‌ن‌ْ تُفَ‍‍نِّ‍‍د‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نِ
Qālū Ta-Allāhi 'Innaka Lafī Đalālika Al-Qadīmi (Yūsuf: 95). They said, "By God, you are still in your old confusion."‌ 012095 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ تَاللَّهِ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ لَفِي ضَ‍‍لاَلِكَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍د‍‍ِي‍مِ
Falammā 'An Jā'a Al-Bashīru 'Alqāhu `Alá Wajhihi Fārtadda Başīan Qāla ۖ 'Alam 'Aqul Lakum 'Innī 'A`lamu Mina Allāhi Mā Lā Ta`lamūna (Yūsuf: 96). Then, when the bearer of good news arrived, he laid it over his face, and he regained his sight. He said, "Did I not say to you that I know from God what you do not know?"‌ 012096 فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا أَ‌ن‌ْ ج‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌الْبَش‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍رُ‌أَلْ‍‍قَ‍‍اهُ عَلَى وَجْ‍‍هِهِ فَا‌رْتَدَّ‌ بَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍ر‌اً ۖ قَ‍الَ ‌أَلَمْ ‌أَقُ‍‍لْ لَكُمْ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌أَعْلَمُ مِنَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ مَا‌ لاَ‌ تَعْلَم‍‍ُو‍نَ
Qālū Yā 'Abānā Astaghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā 'Innā Kunnā Khāţi'īna (Yūsuf: 97). They said, "Father, pray for the forgiveness of our sins; we were indeed at fault."‌ 012097 قَ‍‍الُوا‌ ي‍‍َا‌أَبَانَا‌ ‌اسْتَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍ر‌ْ‌ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَ‍‍ا إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ خَ‍‍اطِ‍‍ئ‍‍‍‍ِي‍نَ
Qāla Sawfa 'Astaghfiru Lakum Rabbī ۖ 'Innahu Huwa Al-Ghafūru Ar-Raĥīmu (Yūsuf: 98). He said, "I will ask my Lord to forgive you. He is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful."‌ 012098 قَ‍الَ سَ‍‍وْفَ ‌أَسْتَ‍‍غْ‍‍فِ‍‍رُلَكُمْ رَبِّ‍‍ي ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ هُوَ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍ف‍‍ُ‍و‌رُ‌ ‌ال‍رَّح‍‍ِي‍مُ
Falammā Dakhalū `Alá Yūsufa 'Āwá 'Ilayhi 'Abawayhi Wa Qāla Adkhulū Mişra 'In Shā'a Allāhu 'Āminīna (Yūsuf: 99). Then, when they entered into the presence of Joseph, he embraced his parents, and said, "Enter Egypt, God willing, safe and secure."‌ 012099 فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا دَ‍خَ‍‍لُوا‌ عَلَى‌ يُوسُفَ ‌آ‌وَ‌ى إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌أَبَوَيْ‍‍هِ ‌وَقَ‍الَ ‌ا‌دْ‍خُ‍‍لُوا‌ مِ‍‍صْ‍رَ إِ‌ن‌ْ ش‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هُ ‌آمِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Rafa`a 'Abawayhi `Alá Al-`Arshi Wa Kharrū Lahu Sujjadāan ۖ Wa Qāla Yā 'Abati Hādhā Ta'lu Ru'uyā Y Min Qablu Qad Ja`alahā Rabbī ۖ Ĥaqqāan Wa Qad 'Aĥsana Bī 'Idh 'Akhrajanī Mina As-Sijni Wa Jā'a Bikum Mina Al-Badwi Min Ba`di 'An Nazagha Ash-Shayţānu Baynī Wa Bayna ۚ 'Ikhwatī 'Inna Rabbī Laţīfun Limā ۚ Yashā'u 'Innahu Huwa Al-`Alīmu Al-Ĥakīmu (Yūsuf: 100). And he elevated his parents on the throne, and they fell prostrate before him. He said, "Father, this is the fulfillment of my vision of long ago. My Lord has made it come true. He has blessed me, when he released me from prison, and brought you out of the wilderness, after the devil had sown conflict between me and my brothers. My Lord is Most Kind towards whomever He wills. He is the All-knowing, the Most Wise."‌ 012100 وَ‌‍رَفَعَ ‌أَبَوَيْ‍‍هِ عَلَى‌ ‌الْعَرْشِ ‌وَ‍خَ‍‍رُّ‌وا‌ لَهُ سُجَّد‌اً ۖ ‌وَقَ‍الَ ي‍‍َا‌أَبَتِ هَذَ‌ا‌ تَأْ‌و‍ِ‍ي‍‍لُ ‌رُ‌ؤْيَاي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لُ قَ‍‍دْ‌ جَعَلَهَا ‍رَبِّي حَ‍‍قّ‍‍اً ۖ ‌وَقَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌أَحْسَنَ بِ‍‍ي ‌إِ‌ذْ أَ‍خْ‍رَجَنِي مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سِّ‍‍جْ‍‍نِ ‌وَج‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ بِكُمْ مِنَ ‌الْبَ‍‍دْ‌وِ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَعْدِ أَ‌ن‌ْ نَزَغَ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انُ بَيْنِي ‌وَبَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ ‌إِخْ‍‍وَتِ‍‍ي ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ رَبِّي لَ‍‍طِ‍‍ي‍‍ف ٌ لِمَا‌ يَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ هُوَ ‌الْعَل‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مُ ‌الْحَك‍‍ِي‍مُ
Rabbi Qad 'Ātaytanī Mina Al-Mulki Wa `Allamtanī Min Ta'li Al-'Aĥādīthi ۚţira As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi 'Anta Wa Līyi Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati ۖ Tawaffanī Muslimāan Wa 'Alĥiqnī Biş-Şāliĥīna (Yūsuf: 101). "My Lord, You have given me some authority, and taught me some interpretation of events. Initiator of the heavens and the earth; You are my Protector in this life and in the Hereafter. Receive my soul in submission, and unite me with the righteous."‌ 012101 رَبِّ قَ‍‍دْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنَ ‌الْمُلْكِ ‌وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَأْ‌و‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌الأَحَا‌د‍ِ‍ي‍‍ثِ ۚ فَاطِ‍‍رَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تَ ‌وَلِيِّ فِي ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِماً ‌وَ‌أَلْحِ‍‍قْ‍‍نِي بِ‍‍ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍ِي‍نَ
Dhālika Min 'Anbā'i Al-Ghaybi Nūĥīhi 'Ilayka ۖ Wa Mā Kunta Ladayhim 'Idh 'Ajma`ū 'Amrahum Wa Hum Yamkurūna (Yūsuf: 102). This is news from the past that We reveal to you. You were not present with them when they plotted and agreed on a plan. 012102 ذَلِكَ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍ب‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍بِ نُوح‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ۖ ‌وَمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تَ لَدَيْهِمْ ‌إِ‌ذْ أَجْ‍‍مَعُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَمْ‍رَهُمْ ‌وَهُمْ يَمْكُر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Wa Mā 'Aktharu An-Nāsi Wa Law Ĥaraşta Bimu'uminīna (Yūsuf: 103). But most people, for all your eagerness, are not believers. 012103 وَمَ‍‍ا أَكْثَرُ‌ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسِ ‌وَلَوْ‌ حَ‍رَصْ‍‍تَ بِمُؤْمِن‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Mā Tas'aluhum `Alayhi Min 'Ajrin ۚ 'In Huwa 'Illā Dhikrun Lil`ālamīna (Yūsuf: 104). You ask them no wage for it. It is only a reminder for all mankind. 012104 وَمَا‌ تَسْأَلُهُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَجْ‍‍ر‌‌ٍ ۚ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ هُوَ إِلاَّ ذِكْر‌ٌ لِلْعَالَم‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Ka'ayyin Min 'Āyatin As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Yamurrūna `Alayhā Wa Hum `Anhā Mu`rūna (Yūsuf: 105). How many a sign in the heavens and the earth do they pass by, paying no attention to them? 012105 وَكَأَيِّ‍‌‍ن‌ْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌آيَةٍ فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ يَمُرّ‍ُ‍‌ونَ عَلَيْهَا وَهُمْ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ مُعْ‍‍رِ‍ض‍‍ُو‍نَ
Wa Mā Yu'uminu 'Aktharuhum Billāhi 'Illā Wa Hum Mushrikūna (Yūsuf: 106). And most of them do not believe in God unless they associate others. 012106 وَمَا‌ يُؤْمِنُ ‌أَكْثَرُهُمْ بِ‍‍ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌إِلاَّ وَهُمْ مُشْ‍‍رِك‍‍ُو‍نَ
'Afa'aminū 'An Ta'tiyahum Ghāshiyatun Min `Adhābi Allāhi 'Aw Ta'tiyahumu As-Sā`atu Baghtatan Wa Hum Lā Yash`urūna (Yūsuf: 107). Do they feel secure that a covering of God's punishment will not come upon them, or that the Hour will not come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware? 012107 أَفَأَمِنُ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ غَ‍‍اشِيَةٌ مِ‍‌ن‌ْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ ‌ال‍‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةُ بَ‍‍غْ‍‍تَةً ‌وَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَشْعُر‍‍ُ‌و‍‍نَ
Qul Hadhihi Sabīlī 'Ad`ū 'Ilá Allāhi ۚ `Alá Başīratin 'Anā Wa Mani Attaba`anī ۖ Wa Subĥāna Allāhi Wa Mā 'Anā Mina Al-Mushrikīna (Yūsuf: 108). Say, "This is my way; I invite to God, based on clear knowledge"”I and whoever follows me. Glory be to God; and I am not of the polytheists."‌ 012108 قُ‍‍لْ هَذِهِ سَبِيلِ‍‍ي ‌أَ‌دْعُو إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ ۚ عَلَى‌ بَ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍رَةٍ ‌أَنَا وَمَنِ ‌اتَّبَعَنِي ۖ ‌وَسُ‍‍بْ‍‍ح‍‍َانَ ‌ال‍لَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَمَ‍‍ا أَنَا‌ مِنَ ‌الْمُشْ‍‍رِك‍‍ِي‍نَ
Wa Mā 'Arsalnā Min Qablika 'Illā Rijālāan Nūĥī 'Ilayhim Min 'Ahli Al-Qurá ۗ 'Afalam Yasīrū Fī Al-'Arđi Fayanžurū Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim ۗ Wa Ladāru Al-'Ākhirati Khayrun Lilladhīna Attaqawā ۗ 'Afalā Ta`qilūna (Yūsuf: 109). We did not send before you except men, whom We inspired, from the people of the towns. Have they not roamed the earth and seen the consequences for those before them? The Home of the Hereafter is better for those who are righteous. Do you not understand? 012109 وَمَ‍‍ا أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ ‌إِلاَّ ‌رِجَالاً نُوحِ‍‍ي ‌إِلَيْهِمْ مِ‍‌نْ ‌أَهْلِ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍رَ‌ىۗ ‌أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُ‌وا‌ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْضِ فَيَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍ظُ‍‍رُ‌وا‌ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ك‍‍َانَ عَاقِ‍‍بَةُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِمْ ۗ ‌وَلَد‍َ‌ارُ‌ ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةِ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍ر‌ٌ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌اتَّ‍‍قَ‍‍وْ‌ا‌ ۗ ‌أَفَلاَ‌ تَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍ل‍‍ُو‍نَ
Ĥattá 'Idhā Astay'asa Ar-Rusulu Wa Žannū 'Annahum Qad Kudhibū Jā'ahum Naşrunā Fanujjiya Man Nashā'u ۖ Wa Lā Yuraddu Ba'sunā `Ani Al-Qawmi Al-Mujrimīna (Yūsuf: 110). Until, when the messengers have despaired, and thought that they were rejected, Our help came to them. We save whomever We will, and Our severity is not averted from the guilty people. 012110 حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌اسْتَ‍‍يْ‍‍ئَسَ ‌ال‍‍رُّسُلُ ‌وَ‍ظَ‍‍نُّ‍‍وا‌ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ قَ‍‍دْ‌ كُذِبُوا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَهُمْ نَ‍‍صْ‍‍رُنَا‌ فَنُجِّيَ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ ۖ ‌وَلاَ‌ يُ‍رَ‌دُّ‌ بَأْسُنَا‌ عَنِ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِ ‌الْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِم‍‍ِي‍نَ
Laqad Kāna Fī Qaşaşihim `Ibratun Li'wlī Al-'Albābi ۗ Mā Kāna Ĥadīthāan Yuftará Wa Lakin Taşdīqa Al-Ladhī Bayna Yadayhi Wa Tafşīla Kulli Shay'in Wa Hudan Wa Raĥmatan Liqawmin Yu'uminūna (Yūsuf: 111). In their stories is a lesson for those who possess intelligence. This is not a fabricated tale, but a confirmation of what came before it, and a detailed explanation of all things, and guidance, and mercy for people who believe. 012111 لَ‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ ك‍‍َانَ فِي قَ‍‍صَ‍‍صِ‍‍هِمْ عِ‍‍بْ‍رَة ٌ لِأ‌و‍‍ْ‍لِي ‌الأَلْب‍‍َابِ ۗ مَا‌ ك‍‍َانَ حَدِيثاً يُفْتَ‍رَ‌ى وَلَكِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَ‍‍صْ‍‍د‍ِ‍ي‍‍قَ ‌الَّذِي بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نَ يَدَيْ‍‍هِ ‌وَتَفْ‍‍صِ‍‍ي‍‍لَ كُلِّ شَ‍‍يْء‌ٍ ‌وَهُ‍‍د‌ىً ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَة ً‌ لِ‍‍قَ‍‍وْمٍ يُؤْمِن‍‍ُو‍نَ
