Wa Ađ-Đuĥá | َ093-001 I call to witness the growing brightness of the forenoon, | وَالضُّحَى |
Wa Al-Layli 'Idhā Sajá | َ093-002 And the night when it becomes still, | وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَى |
Mā Wadda`aka Rabbuka Wa Mā Qalá | َ093-003 (O Prophet!) your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased (with you). | مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَى |
Wa Lal'ākhiratu Khayrun Laka Mina Al-'Ūlá | َ093-004 Surely, (your) future is better for you than your past. | وَلَلآخِرَةُ خَيْر ٌ لَكَ مِنَ الأُولَى |
Wa Lasawfa Yu`ţīka Rabbuka Fatarđá | َ093-005 Your Lord will soon give you (what you desire), and you will be well pleased (with Him). | وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَى |
'Alam Yajidka Yatīmāan Fa'āwá | َ093-006 Did He not find you an orphan and take (you) under (His) care? | أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيما ً فَآوَى |
Wa Wajadaka Đāllāan Fahadá | َ093-007 He found you lost in (His) love (and that of His people), and gave you guidance (so as to enable you help the people reach the goal), | وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالّا ً فَهَدَى |
Wa Wajadaka `Ā'ilāan Fa'aghná | َ093-008 And He found you having a large family to support, He freed you from want (of every kind). | وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلا ً فَأَغْنَى |
Fa'ammā Al-Yatīma Falā Taqhar | َ093-009 Therefore as to the orphan, do not allow him to be an oppressed person. | فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلاَ تَقْهَرْ |
Wa 'Ammā As-Sā'ila Falā Tanhar | َ093-010 And as for the person who seeks (your assistance) do not chide him away. | وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلاَ تَنْهَرْ |
Wa 'Ammā Bini`mati Rabbika Faĥaddith | َ093-011 Then as to the blessings and favours of your Lord, keep on proclaiming (your gratitude by doing similar favours to your fellow beings). | وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ |
