'Alam Nashraĥ Laka Şadraka | َ094-001 Have We not (in fulfillment of your vision in your boyhood and again when you were entrusted with the Divine Mission) opened, expanded (and illuminated) for you your bosom, | أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ |
Wa Wađa`nā `Anka Wizraka | َ094-002 And (have We not) relieved you of your burden (of various responsibilities) | وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ |
Al-Ladhī 'Anqađa Žahraka | َ094-003 Which had weighed your back down? | الَّذِي أَنقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ |
Wa Rafa`nā Laka Dhikraka | َ094-004 And have (We not) exalted for you your name and given you fame? | وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ |
Fa'inna Ma`a Al-`Usri Yusrāan | َ094-005 So surely every hardship is followed by ease. | فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرا ً |
'Inna Ma`a Al-`Usri Yusrāan | َ094-006 Yes, every hardship shall be followed by an ease. | إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرا ً |
Fa'idhā Faraghta Fānşab | َ094-007 When you are free (having finished one task) strive hard to do (the next). | فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ |
Wa 'Ilá Rabbika Fārghab | َ094-008 And to your Lord you do attend (whole-heartedly) and humble yourself before Him. | وَإِلَى رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ |
