77) Sūratālmursalāt | Printed format | 77) سُورَةَالْمُرْسَلاَت |
| Wa Al-Mursalāti `Urfāan | َ077-001 I call to witness those (messengers of Truth) who are sent forth to spread goodness (in continual series), | وَالْمُرْسَلاَتِ عُرْفا ً |
| Fāl`āşifāti `Aşfāan | َ077-002 Those that drive off forcefully (falsehood and forces of evil as chaff is carried before the wind), | فَالْعَاصِفَاتِ عَصْفا ً |
| Wa An-Nāshirāti Nashrāan | َ077-003 And those that spread (the truth) far and wide, | وَالنَّاشِرَاتِ نَشْرا ً |
| Fālfāriqāti Farqāan | َ077-004 And those that fully distinguish (the right from the wrong), | فَالْفَارِقَاتِ فَرْقا ً |
| Fālmulqiyāti Dhikrāan | َ077-005 And those carrying the Message of (rising to) eminence far and wide (- the Qur´ân), | فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ ذِكْرا ً |
| `Udhrāan 'Aw Nudhrāan | َ077-006 (And those presenting this source of eminence) in an attempt to purify (some) from the abomination of sin and to warn (others), | عُذْراً أَوْ نُذْرا ً |
| 'Innamā Tū`adūna Lawāqi`un | َ077-007 Verily, that which you are promised must come to pass. | إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِع ٌ |
| Fa'idhā An-Nujūmu Ţumisat | َ077-008 So when the small stars will be made to lose their light, | فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā As-Samā'u Furijat | َ077-009 And when the heaven shall be opened, | وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ فُرِجَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā Al-Jibālu Nusifat | َ077-010 And when the mountains shall be blown down to pieces, | وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā Ar-Rusulu 'Uqqitat | َ077-011 And when the Messengers shall be made to appear (in the guise of one person) at the appointed time. (It is after that the Resurrection shall take place). | وَإِذَا الرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ |
| L'ayyi Yawmin 'Ujjilat | َ077-012 To what day have these (portents) been deferred; | لأَيِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ |
| Liyawmi Al-Faşli | َ077-013 To the Day of Judgment. | لِيَوْمِ الْفَصْلِ |
| Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Yawmu Al-Faşli | َ077-014 How shall you know what the Day of Judgment is? | وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | َ077-015 On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the truth). | وَيْل ٌ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Alam Nuhliki Al-'Awwalīna | َ077-016 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? | أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ الأَوَّلِينَ |
| Thumma Nutbi`uhumu Al-'Ākhirīna | َ077-017 We will now cause the later generations to follow suit. | ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ الآخِرِينَ |
| Kadhālika Naf`alu Bil-Mujrimīna | َ077-018 That is how We deal with the guilty. | كَذَلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | َ077-019 On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the truth). | وَيْل ٌ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Alam Nakhluqkum Min Mā'in Mahīnin | َ077-020 Did We not create you from an insignificant fluid, | أَلَمْ نَخْلُقْكُمْ مِنْ مَاء ٍ مَهِين ٍ |
| Faja`alnāhu Fī Qarārin Makīnin | َ077-021 Then We placed it in a secure and safe place, | فَجَعَلْنَاه ُُ فِي قَرَار ٍ مَكِين ٍ |
| 'Ilá Qadarin Ma`lūmin | َ077-022 Till an appointed term? | إِلَى قَدَر ٍ مَعْلُوم ٍ |
| Faqadarnā Fani`ma Al-Qādirūna | َ077-023 Thus did We determine, and how good We are at determining! | فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | َ077-024 On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the truth). | وَيْل ٌ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Alam Naj`ali Al-'Arđa Kifātāan | َ077-025 Have We not made the earth revolving and capable of drawing (other bodies) towards itself, | أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الأَرْضَ كِفَاتا ً |
| 'Aĥyā'an Wa 'Amwātāan | َ077-026 The living and the dead? | أَحْيَاء ً وَأَمْوَاتا ً |
| Wa Ja`alnā Fīhā Rawāsiya Shāmikhātin Wa 'Asqaynākum Mā'an Furātāan | َ077-027 And (have We not) made therein lofty mountains and (by means of them) We provide you sweet and wholesome water to drink? | وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَات ٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمْ مَاء ً فُرَاتا ً |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | َ077-028 On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the truth). | وَيْل ٌ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Anţaliqū 'Ilá Mā Kuntum Bihi Tukadhdhibūna | َ077-029 (It will be said to the followers of Trinity,) `Now, move on towards that (punishment) which you cried lies to, | انطَلِقُوا إِلَى مَا كُنتُمْ بِه ِِ تُكَذِّبُونَ |
| Anţaliqū 'Ilá Žillin Dhī Thalāthi Shu`abin | َ077-030 `Move on to the shadow that has three branches, | انطَلِقُوا إِلَى ظِلّ ٍ ذِي ثَلاَثِ شُعَب ٍ |
| Lā Žalīlin Wa Lā Yughnī Mina Al-Lahabi | َ077-031 `(Which is) neither affording shade (to you) nor protects (you) from the flame.´ | لاَ ظَلِيل ٍ وَلاَ يُغْنِي مِنَ اللَّهَبِ |
| 'Innahā Tarmī Bishararin Kālqaşri | َ077-032 Rather it throws huge sparks as huge and high as towers, | إِنَّهَا تَرْمِي بِشَرَر ٍ كَالْقَصْرِ |
| Ka'annahu Jimālatun Şufrun | َ077-033 (Sparks) that look like tawny camels. | كَأَنَّه ُُ جِمَالَة ٌ صُفْر ٌ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | َ077-034 On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the truth). | وَيْل ٌ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Hādhā Yawmu Lā Yanţiqūna | َ077-035 This is a day when they shall not be able to speak, | هَذَا يَوْمُ لاَ يَنطِقُونَ |
| Wa Lā Yu'udhanu Lahum Faya`tadhirūna | َ077-036 Nor shall they be allowed to offer excuses. | وَلاَ يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | َ077-037 On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the truth). | وَيْل ٌ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Hādhā Yawmu Al-Faşli ۖ Jama`nākum Wa Al-'Awwalīna | َ077-038 (God will tell them,) `This is the Day of Judgment (when) We have gathered you and all the earlier peoples together; | هَذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَاكُمْ وَالأَوَّلِينَ |
| Fa'in Kāna Lakum Kaydun Fakīdūni | َ077-039 `If you have any device try it against Me (to escape this punishment).´ | فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْد ٌ فَكِيدُونِ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | َ077-040 On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the truth) | وَيْل ٌ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| 'Inna Al-Muttaqīna Fī Žilālin Wa `Uyūnin | َ077-041 (As for) those who guarded against evil and were dutiful (to God and mankind) they shall, indeed, on that day live in the midst of comforts and (in places with) springs, | إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلاَل ٍ وَعُيُون ٍ |
| Wa Fawākiha Mimmā Yashtahūna | َ077-042 And fruits, such as they desire. | وَفَوَاكِه ََ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ |
| Kulū Wa Ashrabū Hanī'āan Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna | َ077-043 (It will be said to them,) `Eat and drink delightfully as a reward for that which you used to do (in your life-time).´ | كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئا ً بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |
| 'Innā Kadhālika Najzī Al-Muĥsinyna | َ077-044 Truly that is how We reward the doers of good. | إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنينَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | َ077-045 On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the Truth). | وَيْل ٌ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Kulū Wa Tamatta`ū Qalīlāan 'Innakum Mujrimūna | َ077-046 (Disbelievers!) eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while (in the world). Surely, you are the guilty (ones). | كُلُوا وَتَمَتَّعُوا قَلِيلا ً إِنَّكُمْ مُجْرِمُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | َ077-047 On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the Truth). | وَيْل ٌ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Wa 'Idhā Qīla Lahumu Arka`ū Lā Yarka`ūna | َ077-048 When it is said to them, `Bow down (before your Lord)!´ they bow not down. | وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ارْكَعُوا لاَ يَرْكَعُونَ |
| Waylun Yawma'idhin Lilmukadhdhibīna | َ077-049 On that day woe shall befall those who belie (the Truth). | وَيْل ٌ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ |
| Fabi'ayyi Ĥadīthin Ba`dahu Yu'uminūna | َ077-050 Look! in what other revelation will they believe after this (when they have refused to accept such an infallible Book as this Qur´ân). | فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيث ٍ بَعْدَه ُُ يُؤْمِنُونَ |
