69) سُورَة الحَاقَّه

Al-Ĥāqqahu َ069-001 The great inevitable reality! الْحَاقَّةُ
Al-Ĥāqqahu َ069-002 What is that great inevitable reality? مَا الْحَاقَّةُ
Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Al-Ĥāqqahu َ069-003 (Before it actually takes place) you know little (what it is) and what should make you know what that great inevitable reality is? وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحَاقَّةُ
Kadhdhabat Thamūdu Wa `Ādun Bil-Qāri`ahi َ069-004 (The tribe of) Thamûd and `âd treated (the news of) the calamity which strikes (peoples´ hearts with terror to make them realize) as a lie. كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ وَعَاد ٌ بِالْقَارِعَةِ
Fa'ammā Thamūdu Fa'uhlikū Biţ-Ţāghiyahi َ069-005 As for Thamûd, they were destroyed by (the shock of) an exceedingly violent and thunderous blast. فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِالطَّاغِيَةِ
Wa 'Ammā `Ādun Fa'uhlikū Birīĥin Şarşarin `Ātiyahin َ069-006 As for `âd, they were destroyed by a furious wind blowing with extraordinary force, وَأَمَّا عَاد ٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِرِيح ٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَة ٍ
Sakhkharahā `Alayhim Sab`a Layālin Wa Thamāniyata 'Ayyāmin Ĥusūmāan Fatará Al-Qawma Fīhā Şar`á Ka'annahum 'A`jāzu Nakhlin Khāwiyahin َ069-007 Which He let loose on them for seven nights and eight days, with no break, so that (if you had been there) you would have seen the people lying therein sprawled (looking) as though they were hollow trunks of palm-trees fallen down. سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَال ٍ وَثَمَانِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُوما ً فَتَرَى الْقَوْمَ فِيهَا صَرْعَى كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَة ٍ
Fahal Tará Lahum Min Bāqiyahin َ069-008 Now (when they are dead and gone) do you see any of their remnants? فَهَلْ تَرَى لَهُمْ مِنْ بَاقِيَة ٍ
Wa Jā'a Fir`awnu Wa Man Qablahu Wa Al-Mu'utafikātu Bil-Khāţi'ahi َ069-009 Pharaoh and his predecessors and (the inhabitants of) the overthrown cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah) persistently indulged in evil ways. وَجَاءَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَنْ قَبْلَه ُُ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتُ بِالْخَاطِئَةِ
Fa`aşaw Rasūla Rabbihim Fa'akhadhahum 'Akhdhatan Rābiyahan َ069-010 They disobeyed (in their respective times) the Messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with an ever-increasing punishment. فَعَصَوْا رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَهُمْ أَخْذَة ً رَابِيَة ً
'Innā Lammā Ţaghá Al-Mā'u Ĥamalnākum Al-Jāriyahi َ069-011 (Similarly Noah was disobeyed) and no sooner did the water (begin to) rise high than We carried (people like) you in the floating Ark. إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَى الْمَاءُ حَمَلْنَاكُمْ فِي الْجَارِيَةِ
Linaj`alahā Lakum Tadhkiratan Wa Ta`iyahā 'Udhunun Wā`iyahun َ069-012 (We relate these events to you) so that We might make them an example for you (O mankind!), and so that the listening ear might listen (and bear in mind). لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَة ً وَتَعِيَهَا أُذُن ٌ وَاعِيَة ٌ
Fa'idhā Nufikha Fī Aş-Şūri Nafkhatun Wāĥidahun َ069-013 When the trumpet is blown with a single blast, فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ نَفْخَة ٌ وَاحِدَة ٌ
Wa Ĥumilati Al-'Arđu Wa Al-Jibālu Fadukkatā Dakkatan Wāĥidahan َ069-014 And the earth and the mountains are borne away and then crushed into fine dust with a single crash, وَحُمِلَتِ الأَرْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّة ً وَاحِدَة ً
Fayawma'idhin Waqa`ati Al-Wāqi`ahu َ069-015 Then, on that day the great and sure Reality shall come to be. فَيَوْمَئِذ ٍ وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ
Wa Anshaqqati As-Samā'u Fahiya Yawma'idhin Wa Ahiyahun َ069-016 And the heaven will cleave asunder for it will have become frail on that day. وَانشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ وَاهِيَة ٌ
Wa Al-Malaku `Alá  ۚ  'Arjā'ihā Wa Yaĥmilu `Arsha Rabbika Fawqahum Yawma'idhin Thamāniyahun َ069-017 And the angels will be (standing) on all sides (of the heaven) and eight (divine powers) will on that day be above them bearing the Throne of Power of your Lord. وَالْمَلَكُ عَلَى أَرْجَائِهَا  ۚ  وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ رَبِّكَ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ ثَمَانِيَة ٌ
Yawma'idhin Tu`rađūna Lā Takhfá Minkum Khāfiyahun َ069-018 On that day, you shall be brought (before God) and none of your secrets will remain hidden. يَوْمَئِذ ٍ تُعْرَضُونَ لاَ تَخْفَى مِنْكُمْ خَافِيَة ٌ
Fa'ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Biyamīnihi Fayaqūlu Hā'uum Aqra'ū Kitābī َ069-019 Now, he who is given his record (of deeds) in his right hand will say (joyfully to others), `Here, take and read my record (of deeds). فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَه ُُ بِيَمِينِه ِِ فَيَقُولُ هَاؤُمْ اقْرَءُوا كِتَابِي
'Innī Žanantu 'Annī Mulāqin Ĥisābiyah َ069-020 `Verily, I was sure that I would have to face my reckoning (one day)´. إِنِّي ظَنَنتُ أَنِّي مُلاَقٍ حِسَابِيَه
Fahuwa Fī `Īshatin Rāđiyahin َ069-021 So he shall lead an (everlasting) life of blissful happiness, فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَة ٍ رَاضِيَة ٍ
Fī Jannatin `Āliyahin َ069-022 In a lofty Garden, فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَة ٍ
Quţūfuhā Dāniyahun َ069-023 The clusters of fruit of which will be hanging low, within easy reach (to gather). قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَة ٌ
Kulū Wa Ashrabū Hanī'āan Bimā 'Aslaftum Al-'Ayyāmi Al-Khāliyahi َ069-024 (It will be said to those therein,) `Eat and drink delightfully (and to your hearts´ content) on account of the good deeds you accomplished in the past days.´ كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئا ً بِمَا أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِي الأَيَّامِ الْخَالِيَةِ
Wa 'Ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Bishimālihi Fayaqūlu Yā Laytanī Lam 'Ūta Kitābīh َ069-025 But he who will be given the record (of his deeds) in his left hand, will say, `O would that I had not been given my record! وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَه ُُ بِشِمَالِه ِِ فَيَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَابِيهْ
Wa Lam 'Adri Mā Ĥisābīh َ069-026 `And I had not known my reckoning. وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيهْ
Yā Laytahā Kānati Al-Qāđiyaha َ069-027 `Would that it (- the death) had made an end of me! يَا لَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ الْقَاضِيَةَ
Mā 'Aghná `Annī Mālīh  ۜ  َ069-028 `My wealth has been of no avail to me (this day). مَا أَغْنَى عَنِّي مَالِيهْ
Halaka `Annī Sulţānīh َ069-029 `My arguments have failed me, and my authority gone.´ هَلَكَ عَنِّي سُلْطَانِيهْ
Khudhūhu Faghullūhu َ069-030 (Orders shall be issued about such a one,) `Lay hold of him and bind him down with fetters, خُذُوه ُُ فَغُلُّوهُ
Thumma Al-Jaĥīma Şallūhu َ069-031 `Then cast him into the burning Fire. ثُمَّ الْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ
Thumma Fī Silsilatin Dhar`uhā Sab`ūna Dhirā`āan Fāslukūhu َ069-032 `And string him with a chain the length of which is seventy cubits (according to the average length of human life in years). ثُمَّ فِي سِلْسِلَة ٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعا ً فَاسْلُكُوهُ
'Innahu Kāna Lā Yu'uminu Bil-Lahi Al-`Ažīmi َ069-033 `Verily, he did not believe in Allâh, the Great. إِنَّه ُُ كَانَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
Wa Lā Yaĥuđđu `Alá Ţa`āmi Al-Miskīni َ069-034 `And he did not urge (the people) to feed the poor, وَلاَ يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ
Falaysa Lahu Al-Yawma Hāhunā Ĥamīmun َ069-035 `He has, therefore, no warm friend here this day. فَلَيْسَ لَهُ الْيَوْمَ هَاهُنَا حَمِيم ٌ
Wa Lā Ţa`āmun 'Illā Min Ghislīnin َ069-036 `Nor (will he be served with) any food excepting something extremely hot, وَلاَ طَعَام ٌ إِلاَّ مِنْ غِسْلِين ٍ
Lā Ya'kuluhu 'Illā Al-Khāţi'ūna َ069-037 `Which none but the wrongdoers shall take.´ لاَ يَأْكُلُهُ~ُ إِلاَّ الْخَاطِئُونَ
Falā 'Uqsimu Bimā Tubşirūna َ069-038 But nay! I call to witness those (signs) which you see, فَلاَ أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ
Wa Mā Lā Tubşirūna َ069-039 And that which you do not see, وَمَا لاَ تُبْصِرُونَ
'Innahu Laqawlu Rasūlin Karīmin َ069-040 That this (Qur´ân) is surely the word (brought) by an honourable Messenger. إِنَّه ُُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُول ٍ كَرِيم ٍ
Wa Mā Huwa Biqawli Shā`irin  ۚ  Qalīlāan Mā Tu'uminūna َ069-041 It is not at all the word of a poet. Little is the faith you have! وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِر ٍ  ۚ  قَلِيلا ً مَا تُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Lā Biqawli Kāhinin  ۚ  Qalīlāan Mā Tadhakkarūna َ069-042 Neither it is the word of a soothsayer. Little is the heed you give! وَلاَ بِقَوْلِ كَاهِن ٍ  ۚ  قَلِيلا ً مَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Tanzīlun Min Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna َ069-043 (It is) a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. تَنزِيل ٌ مِنْ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa Law Taqawwala `Alaynā Ba`đa Al-'Aqāwīli َ069-044 Had he (- Muhammad) forged and attributed some saying to Us (and said, `This is what Allâh has revealed to me´). وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ الأَقَاوِيلِ
La'akhadhnā Minhu Bil-Yamīni َ069-045 We would have certainly seized him strongly by the right hand (and so deprived him of all his power), لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِالْيَمِينِ
Thumma Laqaţa`nā Minhu Al-Watīna َ069-046 And then surely We would have cut off his jugular vein; ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ الْوَتِينَ
Famā Minkum Min 'Aĥadin `Anhu Ĥājizīna َ069-047 Then none of you could have stopped (Us) from (punishing) him (and thus stood in Our way of dealing justly). فَمَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَاجِزِينَ
Wa 'Innahu Latadhkiratun Lilmuttaqīna َ069-048 Behold! this (Qur´ân) is a means to rise to eminence for those who are dutiful and guard against evil. وَإِنَّه ُُ لَتَذْكِرَة ٌ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
Wa 'Innā Lana`lamu 'Anna Minkum Mukadhdhibīna َ069-049 We know, indeed, that there are some among you who reject it (- the Qur´ân). وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنْكُمْ مُكَذِّبِينَ
Wa 'Innahu Laĥasratun `Alá Al-Kāfirīna َ069-050 Verily, this will be a (source of) regret for the disbelievers. وَإِنَّه ُُ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
Wa 'Innahu Laĥaqqu Al-Yaqīni َ069-051 It is the absolute truth, a certainty. وَإِنَّه ُُ لَحَقُّ الْيَقِينِ
Fasabbiĥ Biāsmi Rabbika Al-`Ažīmi َ069-052 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ
