| Yusabbiĥu Lillahi Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Al-Maliki Al-Quddūsi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥakīmi | َ062-001 Whatever that lies in the heavens and whatever that lies in the earth glorifies Allâh, the Supreme Sovereign, the Holy, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. | يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ |
| Huwa Al-Ladhī Ba`atha Fī Al-'Ummīyīna Rasūlāan Minhum Yatlū `Alayhim 'Āyātihi Wa Yuzakkīhim Wa Yu`allimuhumu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa 'In Kānū Min Qablu Lafī Đalālin Mubīnin | َ062-002 He it is Who has raised among the Arabs a grand Messenger (who hails) from among themselves, who recites to them His revelations to rid them of their impurities and teaches them the Book and Wisdom, though before (the advent of the Prophet) they were steeped in error which disconnected (them from God). | هُوَ الَّذِي بَعَثَ فِي الأُمِّيِّينَ رَسُولا ً مِنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِه ِِ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلاَل ٍ مُبِين ٍ |
| Wa 'Ākharīna Minhum Lammā Yalĥaqū Bihim ۚ Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu | َ062-003 And (He will raise this Prophet among) others of them (their brethren) who have not yet joined them. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. | وَآخَرِينَ مِنْهُمْ لَمَّا يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ |
| Dhālika Fađlu Al-Lahi Yu'utīhi Man Yashā'u Wa ۚ Allāhu Dhū Al-Fađli Al-`Ažīmi | َ062-004 This is Allâh´s grace. He bestows it on whom He pleases. And Allâh is the Lord of immense Grace. | ذَلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيه ِِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ |
| Mathalu Al-Ladhīna Ĥummilū At-Tawrāata Thumma Lam Yaĥmilūhā Kamathali Al-Ĥimāri Yaĥmilu 'Asfārāan ۚ Bi'sa Mathalu Al-Qawmi Al-Ladhīna Kadhdhabū Bi'āyāti Al-Lahi Wa ۚ Allāhu Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna | َ062-005 The case of those who were charged to observe (the law of) Torah but did not carry out (its commandments in its true spirit), is like the case of a donkey that carries (a load of) volumes (of Books; he neither understands them nor gathers any advantage from them). Wretched is the case of the people who cry lies to the Message of Allâh. And Allâh guides no unjust people to success. | مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ حُمِّلُوا التَّوْرَاةَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَحْمِلُوهَا كَمَثَلِ الْحِمَارِ يَحْمِلُ أَسْفَارا ً ۚ بِئْسَ مَثَلُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ |
| Qul Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna Hādū 'In Za`amtum 'Annakum 'Awliyā 'U Lillahi Min Dūni An-Nāsi Fatamannaw Al-Mawta 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna | َ062-006 Say, `O you who stand on judaism! if you claim that you are the favourites of Allâh to the exclusion of all other peoples, then, if what you claim be true, express your wish (in prayer-contest) for death (either invoking it on yourselves if you are on falsehood or on me in case you think me an impostor).´ | قُلْ يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ هَادُوا إِنْ زَعَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ لِلَّهِ مِنْ دُونِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوْا الْمَوْتَ إِنْ كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ |
| Wa Lā Yatamannawnahu 'Abadāan Bimā Qaddamat 'Aydīhim Wa ۚ Allāhu `Alīmun Biž-Žālimīna | َ062-007 But they will never wish for it (- the death) because of (the sinful deeds) their hands have sent forward. And Allâh is fully Aware of the wrongdoers. | وَلاَ يَتَمَنَّوْنَهُ~ُ أَبَدا ً بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيم ٌ بِالظَّالِمِينَ |
| Qul 'Inna Al-Mawta Al-Ladhī Tafirrūna Minhu Fa'innahu Mulāqīkum ۖ Thumma Turaddūna 'Ilá `Ālimi Al-Ghaybi Wa Ash-Shahādati Fayunabbi'ukum Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna | َ062-008 Say, `The death from which you flee is sure to overtake you. Then you will be brought before the Knower of the unseen and the seen, and He will inform you of the truth about all that you had been doing.´ | قُلْ إِنَّ الْمَوْتَ الَّذِي تَفِرُّونَ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّه ُُ مُلاَقِيكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَى عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Idhā Nūdī Lilşşalāati Min Yawmi Al-Jumu`ati Fās`aw 'Ilá Dhikri Al-Lahi Wa Dharū Al-Bay`a ۚ Dhālikum Khayrun Lakum 'In Kuntum Ta`lamūna | َ062-009 O you who believe! when the call is made for (the Congregational) Prayer on friday then hasten to extol the name of Allâh and leave off all business. That is best for you if you only knew. | يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِي لِلصَّلاَةِ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ ذَلِكُمْ ۚ خَيْر ٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ |
| Fa'idhā Quđiyati Aş-Şalāatu Fāntashirū Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Abtaghū Min Fađli Al-Lahi Wa Adhkurū Al-Laha Kathīrāan La`allakum Tufliĥūna | َ062-010 And when the Prayer is finished, disperse in the land and seek Allâh´s grace and bounty (and restart your business), and go on remembering Allâh much that you may achieve an all-round success. | فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَانتَشِرُوا فِي الأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرا ً لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ |
| Wa 'Idhā Ra'aw Tijāratan 'Aw Lahwan Anfađđū 'Ilayhā Wa Tarakūka Qā'imāan ۚ Qul Mā `Inda Al-Lahi Khayrun Mina Al-Lahwi Wa Mina At-Tijārati Wa ۚ Allāhu Khayru Ar-Rāziqīna | َ062-011 But (Prophet!) when some people see some merchandise or any form of amusement, they run for it and leave you standing (on the pulpit), say, `That (reward of worshipping Allâh) which Allâh has (for you) is far better than any amusement or merchandise, and Allâh is the Best of Providers. | وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوا ً انفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِما ً ۚ قُلْ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْر ٌ مِنَ اللَّهْوِ وَمِنَ التِّجَارَةِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ |
