| Sabbaĥa Lillahi Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu | َ061-001 Whatever that lies in the heavens and whatever that lies in the earth glorifies Allâh, for He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. | سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū Lima Taqūlūna Mā Lā Taf`alūna | َ061-002 O you who believe! why should you say what you do not do. | يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لاَ تَفْعَلُونَ |
| Kabura Maqtāan `Inda Al-Lahi 'An Taqūlū Mā Lā Taf`alūna | َ061-003 It is very hateful in the sight of Allâh that you should profess what you do not practise. | كَبُرَ مَقْتاً عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَنْ تَقُولُوا مَا لاَ تَفْعَلُونَ |
| 'Inna Al-Laha Yuĥibbu Al-Ladhīna Yuqātilūna Fī Sabīlihi Şaffāan Ka'annahum Bunyānun Marşūşun | َ061-004 Indeed, Allâh loves those who fight in His cause in compact ranks (so arrayed) as if they were a solid structure cemented with (molten) lead. | إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الَّذِينَ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِه ِِ صَفّا ً كَأَنَّهُمْ بُنيَان ٌ مَرْصُوص ٌ |
| Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsá Liqawmihi Yā Qawmi Lima Tu'udhūnanī Wa Qad Ta`lamūna 'Annī Rasūlu Al-Lahi 'Ilaykum ۖ Falammā Zāghū 'Azāgha Al-Lahu Qulūbahum Wa ۚ Allāhu Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Al-Fāsiqīna | َ061-005 (Recall the time) when Moses said to his people, `My people! why do you malign me when you know that I am certainly a Messenger from Allâh to you.´ But when they deviated from the right course, Allâh let their hearts deviate (as they were), for Allâh guides no transgressing people to success. | وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِه ِِ يَا قَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِي وَقَدْ تَعْلَمُونَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوا أَزَاغَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ |
| Wa 'Idh Qāla `Īsá Abnu Maryama Yā Banī 'Isrā'īla 'Innī Rasūlu Al-Lahi 'Ilaykum Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayya Mina At-Tawrāati Wa Mubashshirāan Birasūlin Ya'tī Min Ba`dī Asmuhu 'Aĥmadu ۖ Falammā Jā'ahum Bil-Bayyināti Qālū Hādhā Siĥrun Mubīnun | َ061-006 And (recall the time) when Jesus, son of Mary, said, `O Children of Israel! surely I am a Messenger sent to you by Allâh fulfilling (the prophecies contained in) the Torah which preceded me and pronouncing the good news of (the advent of) a great Messenger named Ahmad, who will come after me.´ But when he (- the Prophet Muhammad) came to them with clear proofs, they said, `His are the enchanting ways separating (us from our people).´ | وَإِذْ قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ مُصَدِّقا ً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَمُبَشِّرا ً بِرَسُول ٍ يَأْتِي مِنْ بَعْدِي اسْمُهُ~ُ أَحْمَدُ ۖ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا هَذَا سِحْر ٌ مُبِين ٌ |
| Wa Man 'Ažlamu Mimmani Aftará `Alá Al-Lahi Al-Kadhiba Wa Huwa Yud`á 'Ilá Al-'Islāmi Wa ۚ Allāhu Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna | َ061-007 But who is more unjust than he (who believes in the trinity of God), who forges a lie in the name of Allâh (by calling Jesus the son of God), while he is called (to join the fold of Islam). And Allâh guides no unjust people to the ways of success. | وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدْعَى إِلَى الإِسْلاَمِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ |
| Yurīdūna Liyuţfi'ū Nūra Al-Lahi Bi'afwāhihim Wa Allāhu Mutimmu Nūrihi Wa Law Kariha Al-Kāfirūna | َ061-008 They desire to extinguish the light of Allâh with (the breath of) their mouths. But Allâh will perfect His light even though the disbelievers consider it hard. | يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِه ِِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ |
| Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Arsala Rasūlahu Bil-Hudá Wa Dīni Al-Ĥaqqi Liyužhirahu `Alá Ad-Dīni Kullihi Wa Law Kariha Al-Mushrikūna | َ061-009 It is He Who sent His Messenger with (the source of) guidance and true lasting faith, that he may help it prevail over all other faith, even though the polytheists consider it difficult. | هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَه ُُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَه ُُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّه ِِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū Hal 'Adullukum `Alá Tijāratin Tunjīkum Min `Adhābin 'Alīmin | َ061-010 O you who believe! shall I direct you to a bargain that will save you from a woeful punishment? | يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى تِجَارَة ٍ تُنجِيكُمْ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيم ٍ |
| Tu'uminūna Bil-Lahi Wa Rasūlihi Wa Tujāhidūna Fī Sabīli Al-Lahi Bi'amwālikum Wa 'Anfusikum ۚ Dhālikum Khayrun Lakum 'In Kuntum Ta`lamūna | َ061-011 (The bargain is that) keep your faith in Allâh and His Messenger and keep on striving hard in the cause of Allâh with your possessions and your persons. That would be best for you if only you realise. | تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِه ِِ وَتُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْر ٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ |
| Yaghfir Lakum Dhunūbakum Wa Yudkhilkum Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Wa Masākina Ţayyibatan Fī Jannāti `Adnin ۚ Dhālika Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu | َ061-012 He will protect you against the evil consequences of your sins and admit you into Gardens served with running streams and (into) delightful and pure dwelling places (lying) in the Gardens of Eternity. This is the (way to) supreme achievement. | يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَيُدْخِلْكُمْ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَة ً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْن ٍ ۚ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ |
| Wa 'Ukhrá Tuĥibbūnahā ۖ Naşrun Mina Al-Lahi Wa Fatĥun Qarībun ۗ Wa Bashshiri Al-Mu'uminīna | َ061-013 And (He will confer upon you ) yet another (favour) which you love. (It is the) help from Allâh and an early victory (that you will win in this very world). So give glad tidings (of it) to the believers. | وَأُخْرَى تُحِبُّونَهَا ۖ نَصْر ٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَتْح ٌ قَرِيب ٌ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū Kūnw 'Anşāra Al-Lahi Kamā Qāla `Īsá Abnu Maryama Lilĥawārīyīna Man 'Anşārī 'Ilá Al-Lahi ۖ Qāla Al-Ĥawārīyūna Naĥnu 'Anşāru Al-Lahi ۖ Fa'āamanat Ţā'ifatun Min Banī 'Isrā'īla Wa Kafarat Ţā'ifatun ۖ Fa'ayyadnā Al-Ladhīna 'Āamanū `Alá `Adūwihim Fa'aşbaĥū Žāhirīna | َ061-014 O you who believe! be helpers of (the cause of) Allâh (as did the disciples of Jesus), for when Jesus, son of Mary, said to the disciples, `Who will join me as my helper towards (the cause of) Allâh?´ The disciples replied, `We are helpers of (the cause of) Allâh.´ So a section of the Children of the Israel believed (firmly in Jesus), while another section rejected (him). Thereupon We helped those who believed, against their enemies and (at last) these (believers) gained predominant victory (over the nonbelievers). | يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا كُونوا أَنصَارَ اللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيِّينَ مَنْ أَنصَارِي إِلَى اللَّهِ قَالَ ۖ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنصَارُ اللَّهِ فَآَمَنَتْ ۖ طَائِفَة ٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَكَفَرَتْ طَائِفَة ٌ فَأَيَّدْنَا ۖ الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا عَلَى عَدُوِّهِمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا ظَاهِرِينَ |
