14) سُورَة إبرَاهِيم

'Alif-Lām-Rā Kitābun 'Anzalnāhu 'Ilayka Litukhrija An-Nāsa Mina Až-Žulumāti 'Ilá An-Nūr Bi'idhni Rabbihim 'Ilá Şirāţi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥamīdi َ014-001 Alif Lâm Râ. (This is) a great Book which We have revealed to you that you may bring mankind, by the leave of their Lord, out of different kinds of darkness into light, to the path of the All-Mighty, the Praiseworthy, أَلِف-لَام-رَا كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ~ُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ  ۚ  النَّاسَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّور بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ
Al-Lahi Al-Ladhī Lahu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi  ۗ  Wa Waylun Lilkāfirīna Min `Adhābin Shadīdin َ014-002 (To the path of) Allâh, to Whom belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And woe to the disbelievers for a dreadful punishment (that will befall them)! اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَه ُُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ  ۗ  وَوَيْل ٌ لِلْكَافِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَاب ٍ شَدِيد ٍ
Al-Ladhīna Yastaĥibbūna Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā `Alá Al-'Ākhirati Wa Yaşuddūna `An Sabīli Al-Lahi Wa Yabghūnahā `Iwajāan  ۚ  'Ūlā'ika Fī Đalālin Ba`īdin َ014-003 Such as prefer the present life to the Hereafter, and forsake the path of Allâh and hinder (the people) from it, and try to paint it as crooked, seeking to undertake it by remaining crooked. It is these who have gone far off in error. الَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الآخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجاً  ۚ  أُوْلَائِكَ فِي ضَلاَل ٍ بَعِيد ٍ
Wa Mā 'Arsalnā Min Rasūlin 'Illā Bilisāni Qawmihi Liyubayyina Lahum  ۖ  Fayuđillu Al-Lahu Man Yashā'u Wa Yahdī Man Yashā'u  ۚ  Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu َ014-004 And We sent no Messenger but (he spoke) in the language of his people so that he might make (all Our Messages) clear to them, yet Allâh leaves in error those who wish to remain in error and guides him who wishes to be guided (to the right path). And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ رَسُول ٍ إِلاَّ بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِه ِِ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ  ۖ  فَيُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ  ۚ  وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Mūsá Bi'āyātinā 'An 'Akhrij Qawmaka Mina Až-Žulumāti 'Ilá An-Nūri Wa Dhakkirhum Bi'ayyāmi Al-Lahi  ۚ  'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Likulli Şabbārin Shakūrin َ014-005 And We sent Moses with Our signs saying, `Bring forth your people from different kinds of darkness into light and remind them of Allâh´s favours and punishments. Behold! there are signs in these (narratives) for every patiently persevering and grateful person.´ وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَى بِآيَاتِنَا أَنْ أَخْرِجْ قَوْمَكَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَذَكِّرْهُمْ بِأَيَّامِ اللَّهِ  ۚ  إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَات ٍ لِكُلِّ صَبَّار ٍ شَكُور ٍ
Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsá Liqawmihi Adhkurū Ni`mata Al-Lahi `Alaykum 'Idh 'Anjākum Min 'Āli Fir`awna Yasūmūnakum Sū'a Al-`Adhābi Wa Yudhabbiĥūna 'Abnā'akum Wa Yastaĥyūna Nisā'akum  ۚ  Wa Fī Dhālikum Balā'un Min Rabbikum `Ažīmun َ014-006 And (call to mind) when Moses said to his people, `Remember Allâh´s blessings upon you, when He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh, who afflicted you with painful sufferings and slew your sons and spared your women to make them immodest and in that (deliverance) there was a great reward from your Lord. وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ أَنجَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ  ۚ  وَفِي ذَلِكُمْ بَلاَء ٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa 'Idh Ta'adhdhana Rabbukum La'in Shakartum La'azīdannakum  ۖ  Wa La'in Kafartum 'Inna `Adhābī Lashadīdun َ014-007 And (recall) when your Lord made it known (to you), `If you indeed be thankful, I will bestow more (favours) on you, but if you are ungrateful, (you will find that) My punishment is of course most severe.´ وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ  ۖ  وَلَئِنْ كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيد ٌ
Wa Qāla Mūsá 'In Takfurū 'Antum Wa Man Al-'Arđi Jamī`āan Fa'inna Al-Laha Laghanīyun Ĥamīdun َ014-008 Moses said, `If you turn ungrateful, you and everyone on this earth altogether (remember that) Allâh stands in need of no thanks. Verily, Allâh is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy (in His Own right). وَقَالَ مُوسَى إِنْ تَكْفُرُوا أَنْتُمْ وَمَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيعا ً فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ حَمِيد ٌ
'Alam Ya'tikum Naba'u Al-Ladhīna Min Qablikum Qawmi Nūĥin Wa `Ādin Wa Thamūda Wa  ۛ  Al-Ladhīna Min Ba`dihim  ۛ  Lā Ya`lamuhum 'Illā Al-Lahu  ۚ  Jā'at/hum Rusuluhum Bil-Bayyināti Faraddū 'Aydiyahum Fī 'Afwāhihim Wa Qālū 'Innā Kafarnā Bimā 'Ursiltum Bihi Wa 'Innā Lafī Shakkin Mimmā Tad`ūnanā 'Ilayhi Murībin َ014-009 Has not the important news come to you of your predecessors, the people of Noah, (the tribes of) `Ad and Thamûd and those who came after them. None knows them (now) but Allâh. Their Messengers (of God) came to them with clear proofs, but they put their hands again and again on their mouths (showing great resentment and out of rage) saying, `We have already rejected that (revelation) you have been sent with and infact we are in disquieting doubt as to that (faith) you call us to.´ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ قَوْمِ نُوح ٍ وَعَاد ٍ وَثَمُودَ  ۛ  وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ  ۛ  لاَ يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ  ۚ  جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرَدُّوا أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَقَالُوا إِنَّا كَفَرْنَا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِه ِِ وَإِنَّا لَفِي شَكّ ٍ مِمَّا تَدْعُونَنَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيب ٍ
Qālat Rusuluhum 'Afī Al-Lahi Shakkun Fāţiri As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi  ۖ  Yad`ūkum Liyaghfira Lakum Min Dhunūbikum Wa Yu'uakhkhirakum 'Ilá 'Ajalin Musammáan  ۚ  Qālū 'In 'Antum 'Illā Basharun Mithlunā Turīdūna 'An Taşuddūnā `Ammā Kāna Ya`budu 'Ābā'uunā Fa'tūnā Bisulţānin Mubīnin َ014-010 Their Messengers (of God) said, `Is there any doubt about Allâh, the Originator of the heavens and the earth? He calls you (to Himself) that He may protect you against your sins and grant you respite till an appointed time (to the end of your lives).´ They said, `You are nothing but a human being like ourselves. You desire to stop us from (worshipping) that our fathers have been worshipping, well better bring us some manifest authority.´ قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِي اللَّهِ شَكّ ٌ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ  ۖ  يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُمْ مِنْ ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَى أَجَل ٍ مُسَمّى ً  ۚ  قَالُوا إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلاَّ بَشَر ٌ مِثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَان ٍ مُبِين ٍ
Qālat Lahum Rusuluhum 'In Naĥnu 'Illā Basharun Mithlukum Wa Lakinna Al-Laha Yamunnu `Alá Man Yashā'u Min `Ibādihi  ۖ  Wa Mā Kāna Lanā 'An Na'tiyakum Bisulţānin 'Illā Bi'idhni Al-Lahi  ۚ  Wa `Alá Al-Lahi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu'uminūna َ014-011 Their Messengers (of God) said to them, `It is true we are nothing but human beings like yourselves but Allâh shows (His) favours (by sending revelations and prophethood) to such of His servants as He will. It is not (possible) for us to bring you an authority except by the leave of Allâh. (We put our trust in Him) and in Allâh (alone) should the believers put their trust. قَالَتْ لَهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ إِنْ نَحْنُ إِلاَّ بَشَر ٌ مِثْلُكُمْ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَى مَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِه ِِ  ۖ  وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا أَنْ نَأْتِيَكُمْ بِسُلْطَان ٍ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ  ۚ  وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Mā Lanā 'Allā Natawakkala `Alá Al-Lahi Wa Qad Hadānā Subulanā  ۚ  Wa Lanaşbiranna `Alá Mā 'Ādhaytumūnā  ۚ  Wa `Alá Al-Lahi Falyatawakkali Al-Mutawakkilūna َ014-012 `And why should we not put our trust in Allâh while He has guided us in our ways? We will surely endure patiently all persecutions you have subjected us to. So in Allâh alone let those put their trust who have learnt to put their trust in Him.´ وَمَا لَنَا أَلاَّ نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَانَا سُبُلَنَا  ۚ  وَلَنَصْبِرَنَّ عَلَى مَا آذَيْتُمُونَا  ۚ  وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lirusulihim Lanukhrijannakum Min 'Arđinā 'Aw Lata`ūdunna Fī Millatinā  ۖ  Fa'awĥá 'Ilayhim Rabbuhum Lanuhlikanna Až-Žālimīna َ014-013 And those who disbelieved, then said to their Messengers (of God), `We will, assuredly, turn you out of our country or you will have to return to our creed.´ Then did their Lord send (His) revelation to them (- the Messengers) saying, `We will invariably destroy these wrong doers. وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِرُسُلِهِمْ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِنَا أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا  ۖ  فَأَوْحَى إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ لَنُهْلِكَنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ
Wa Lanuskinannakumu Al-'Arđa Min Ba`dihim  ۚ  Dhālika Liman Khāfa Maqāmī Wa Khāfa Wa`īdi َ014-014 `And We will surely make you occupy the country after them. That (promise) shall hold good for everyone of him who fears to stand before My tribunal and fears My threatful warning.´ وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُ الأَرْضَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ  ۚ  ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامِي وَخَافَ وَعِيدِ
Wa Astaftaĥū Wa Khāba Kullu Jabbārin `Anīdin َ014-015 They sought a judgment, (but when it came) every haughty person (and) enemy (of truth) met with no success (and was utterly disappointed). وَاسْتَفْتَحُوا وَخَابَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيد ٍ
Min Warā'ihi Jahannamu Wa Yusqá Min Mā'in Şadīdin َ014-016 Gehenna lies before him where he shall be made to drink boiling and repulsive water. مِنْ وَرَائِه ِِ جَهَنَّمُ وَيُسْقَى مِنْ مَاء ٍ صَدِيد ٍ
Yatajarra`uhu Wa Lā Yakādu Yusīghuhu Wa Ya'tīhi Al-Mawtu Min Kulli Makānin Wa Mā Huwa Bimayyitin  ۖ  Wa Min Warā'ihi `Adhābun Ghalīžun َ014-017 He will try to sip it but shall not be able to swallow it easily, and death shall come to him from every quarter; yet he shall not die. Moreover he shall see before him further harsh doom. يَتَجَرَّعُه ُُ وَلاَ يَكَادُ يُسِيغُه ُُ وَيَأْتِيهِ الْمَوْتُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَان ٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّت ٍ  ۖ  وَمِنْ وَرَائِه ِِ عَذَابٌ غَلِيظ ٌ
Mathalu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Birabbihim  ۖ  'A`māluhum Karamādin Ashtaddat Bihi Ar-Rīĥu Fī Yawmin `Āşifin  ۖ  Lā Yaqdirūna Mimmā Kasabū `Alá Shay'in  ۚ  Dhālika Huwa Ađ-Đalālu Al-Ba`īdu َ014-018 The works of those who disbelieve in (the Messages and blessings of) their Lord, are like ashes on which the wind blows violently on a tempestuous day. They shall have no power to reap the fruit of their deeds. That is indeed an extremely ruinous error. مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ  ۖ  أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَرَمَاد ٍ اشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ الرِّيحُ فِي يَوْمٍ عَاصِف ٍ  ۖ  لاَ يَقْدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا عَلَى شَيْء ٍ  ۚ  ذَلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلاَلُ الْبَعِيدُ
'Alam Tará 'Anna Al-Laha Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Bil-Ĥaqqi  ۚ  'In Yasha' Yudh/hibkum Wa Ya'ti Bikhalqin Jadīdin َ014-019 Have you (O reader!) not considered that Allâh created the heavens and the earth to suit the requirements of truth and wisdom. If He (so) will, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation. أَلَمْ تَرَى أَنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ  ۚ  إِنْ يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْق ٍ جَدِيد ٍ
Wa Mā Dhālika `Alá Al-Lahi Bi`azīzin َ014-020 And that is not at all difficult for Allâh. وَمَا ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ بِعَزِيز ٍ
Wa Barazū Lillahi Jamī`āan Faqāla Ađ-Đu`afā'u Lilladhīna Astakbarū 'Innā Kunnā Lakum Taba`āan Fahal 'Antum Mughnūna `Annā Min `Adhābi Al-Lahi Min Shay'in  ۚ  Qālū Law Hadānā Al-Lahu Lahadaynākum  ۖ  Sawā'un `Alaynā 'Ajazi`nā 'Am Şabarnā Mā Lanā Min Maĥīşin َ014-021 (Beware of the Day when) the people shall appear before Allâh in a body so that the weak shall say to those who considered themselves great, `We were your followers definitely. Can you not help (to save) us (today) in any manner against the punishment of Allâh?´ They will reply, `Had Allâh guided us (to a way of deliverance) we would have surely guided you. It makes no difference for us (now) whether we show impatience or remain patient. There is no way of escape for us (this day).´ وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ جَمِيعا ً فَقَالَ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعا ً فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ مِنْ شَيْء ٍ  ۚ  قَالُوا لَوْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ  ۖ  سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَا أَجَزِعْنَا أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِنْ مَحِيص ٍ
Wa Qāla Ash-Shayţānu Lammā Quđiya Al-'Amru 'Inna Al-Laha Wa`adakum Wa`da Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Wa`adtukum Fa'akhlaftukum  ۖ  Wa Mā Kāna Lī `Alaykum Min Sulţānin 'Illā 'An Da`awtukum Fāstajabtum Lī  ۖ  Falā Talūmūnī Wa Lūmū 'Anfusakum  ۖ  Mā 'Anā Bimuşrikhikum Wa Mā 'Antum Bimuşrikhīya  ۖ  'Innī Kafartu Bimā 'Ashraktumūnī Min Qablu  ۗ  'Inna Až-Žālimīna Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun َ014-022 When the judgment (of God) has been passed (and matter decided), satan will say (to these people), `Verily, Allâh made you a true promise, and I (also) made you a promise but I failed you. I had no authority over you, however, I called you and you obeyed me. Therefore blame me not (now) but you should blame your ownselves. I can render you no help, nor can you render me any help. In as much as your associating me as partner (with God), I have already declared that I have nothing to do with it. As for the wrong doers, there awaits them a grievous punishment.´ وَقَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَمَّا قُضِيَ الأَمْرُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ الْحَقِّ وَوَعَدْتُكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ  ۖ  وَمَا كَانَ لِي عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ سُلْطَان ٍ إِلاَّ أَنْ دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَاسْتَجَبْتُمْ لِي  ۖ  فَلاَ تَلُومُونِي وَلُومُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ  ۖ  مَا أَنَا بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُصْرِخِيَّ  ۖ  إِنِّي كَفَرْتُ بِمَا أَشْرَكْتُمُونِي مِنْ قَبْلُ  ۗ  إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيم ٌ
Wa 'Udkhila Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Bi'idhni Rabbihim  ۖ  Taĥīyatuhum Fīhā Salāmun َ014-023 But those who believe and do righteous deeds shall be made to enter Gardens served with running streams (to keep them green and flourishing). There they shall abide in for ever by the leave of their Lord. Their greeting therein shall be, `Peace.´ وَأُدْخِلَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ  ۖ  تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلاَم ٌ
'Alam Tará Kayfa Đaraba Al-Lahu Mathalāan Kalimatan Ţayyibatan Kashajaratin Ţayyibatin 'Aşluhā Thābitun Wa Far`uhā Fī As-Samā'i َ014-024 Have you (O reader!) not considered how Allâh compares a holy word to a good tree whose (each) root is firm and whose (every) branch (spreads out) to the very sky. أَلَمْ تَرَى كَيْفَ ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلا ً كَلِمَة ً طَيِّبَة ً كَشَجَرَة ٍ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصْلُهَا ثَابِت ٌ وَفَرْعُهَا فِي السَّمَاءِ
Tu'utī 'Ukulahā Kulla Ĥīnin Bi'idhni Rabbihā  ۗ  Wa Yađribu Al-Lahu Al-'Amthāla Lilnnāsi La`allahum Yatadhakkarūna َ014-025 This (tree) goes on bringing forth its fruit at all times by the leave of its Lord. And Allâh gives excellent descriptions (of things) for the people so that they may take heed. تُؤْتِي أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِين ٍ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهَا  ۗ  وَيَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
Wa Mathalu Kalimatin Khabīthatin Kashajaratin Khabīthatin Ajtuththat Min Fawqi Al-'Arđi Mā Lahā Min Qarārin َ014-026 And the likeness of an evil word is as an evil tree which can be uprooted from above the earth; it has no stability. وَمَثَلُ كَلِمَةٍ خَبِيثَة ٍ كَشَجَرَةٍ خَبِيثَة ٍ اجْتُثَّتْ مِنْ فَوْقِ الأَرْضِ مَا لَهَا مِنْ قَرَار ٍ
Yuthabbitu Al-Lahu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Bil-Qawli Ath-Thābiti Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Fī Al-'Ākhirati  ۖ  Wa Yuđillu Al-Lahu Až-Žālimīna  ۚ  Wa Yaf`alu Al-Lahu Mā Yashā'u َ014-027 Allâh strengthens those who have believed with the (true) word firmly established, (both) in the present life and in the Hereafter. Allâh perishes the wrongdoers and Allâh does whatever He will. يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ  ۖ  وَيُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الظَّالِمِينَ  ۚ  وَيَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ
'Alam Tará 'Ilá Al-Ladhīna Baddalū Ni`mata Al-Lahi Kufrāan Wa 'Aĥallū Qawmahum Dāra Al-Bawāri َ014-028 Have you not seen those who have done away with Allâh´s favour for (their) ingratitude. They have landed their people into the abode of ruin - أَلَمْ تَرَى إِلَى الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ كُفْرا ً وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ
Jahannama Yaşlawnahā  ۖ  Wa Bi'sa Al-Qarāru َ014-029 In Gehenna; they shall enter it. What a wretched place to settle in! جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا  ۖ  وَبِئْسَ الْقَرَارُ
Wa Ja`alū Lillahi 'Andādāan Liyuđillū `An Sabīlihi  ۗ  Qul Tamatta`ū Fa'inna Maşīrakum 'Ilá An-Nāri َ014-030 And they set up compeers to Allâh to lead (people) astray from His path, say, `(Well) enjoy yourselves a while; you are heading towards the Fire.´ وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ أَندَادا ً لِيُضِلُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِه ِِ  ۗ  قُلْ تَمَتَّعُوا فَإِنَّ مَصِيرَكُمْ إِلَى النَّارِ
Qul Li`ibādiya Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Yuqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa Yunfiqū Mimmā Razaqnāhum Sirrāan Wa `Alāniyatan Min Qabli 'An Ya'tiya Yawmun Lā Bay`un Fīhi Wa Lā Khilālun َ014-031 Say to My servants who have believed, to observe Prayer and to spend secretly and openly out of that We have provided for them, before there comes the day (of reckoning) when neither bargaining, nor fast-friendship shall help them (to get salvation). قُلْ لِعِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ وَيُنفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرّا ً وَعَلاَنِيَة ً مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ يَوْم ٌ لاَ بَيْع ٌ فِيه ِِ وَلاَ خِلاَل ٌ
Al-Lahu Al-Ladhī Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Wa 'Anzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fa'akhraja Bihi Mina Ath-Thamarāti Rizqāan Lakum  ۖ  Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-Fulka Litajriya Fī Al-Baĥri Bi'amrihi  ۖ  Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-'Anhāra َ014-032 Allâh is He Who created the heavens and the earth and He causes water to come down from the clouds and He brings forth fruits therewith to be your sustenance. He has made subservient to you the ships that they may sail through the sea by His leave and He has made subservient to you the rivers (also). اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاء ً فَأَخْرَجَ بِه ِِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ رِزْقا ً لَكُمْ  ۖ  وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْفُلْكَ لِتَجْرِيَ فِي الْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِه ِِ  ۖ  وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الأَنهَارَ
Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Dā'ibayni  ۖ  Wa Sakhkhara Lakumu Al-Layla Wa An-Nahār َ014-033 And He has made subservient to you the sun and the moon, both moving constantly (according to some fixed laws), and He has made subservient to you the night and the day. وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ دَائِبَيْنِ  ۖ  وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَار
Wa 'Ātākum Min Kulli Mā Sa'altumūhu  ۚ  Wa 'In Ta`uddū Ni`mata Al-Lahi Lā Tuĥşūhā  ۗ  'Inna Al-'Insāna Lažalūmun Kaffārun َ014-034 He has given you of all that you wanted of Him (by your natural demand). And if you try to count Allâh´s bounties, you will not be able to number them. Surely, a human being is very unjust, very ungrateful. وَآتَاكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ مَا سَأَلْتُمُوه ُُ  ۚ  وَإِنْ تَعُدُّوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ لاَ تُحْصُوهَا  ۗ  إِنَّ الإِنسَانَ لَظَلُوم ٌ كَفَّار ٌ
Wa 'Idh Qāla 'Ibrāhīmu Rabbi Aj`al Hādhā Al-Balada 'Āmināan Wa Ajnubnī Wa Banīya 'An Na`buda Al-'Aşnāma َ014-035 (Recall the time) when Abraham said, `My Lord, make this (would be) city (of Makkah) secure and a haven of peace, and keep me and my children away from worshipping idols. وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَذَا الْبَلَدَ آمِنا ً وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَنْ نَعْبُدَ الأَصْنَامَ
Rabbi 'Innahunna 'Ađlalna Kathīrāan Mina An-Nāsi  ۖ  Faman Tabi`anī Fa'innahu Minnī  ۖ  Wa Man `Aşānī Fa'innaka Ghafūrun Raĥīmun َ014-036 `My Lord! a large number of people has gone astray because of these (idols) to be sure. Then whoso follows me he is certainly of me. As for the person who disobeys me, (I can say only,) You are indeed Great Protector (against faults), Ever Merciful. رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرا ً مِنَ النَّاسِ  ۖ  فَمَنْ تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّه ُُ مِنِّي  ۖ  وَمَنْ عَصَانِي فَإِنَّكَ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
Rabbanā 'Innī 'Askantu Min Dhurrīyatī Biwādin Ghayri Dhī Zar`in `Inda Baytika Al-Muĥarrami Rabbanā Liyuqīmū Aş-Şalāata Fāj`al 'Af'idatan Mina An-Nāsi Tahwī 'Ilayhim Wa Arzuqhum Mina Ath-Thamarāti La`allahum Yashkurūna َ014-037 `Our Lord! I have settled some of my children in an uncultivable valley (of Makkah), in the vicinity of your Holy House. Our Lord! (I have done) so that they may observe prayer. Then make the hearts of the people incline towards them and provide them with fruits so that they may always give thanks. رَبَّنَا إِنِّي أَسْكَنتُ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِنْدَ بَيْتِكَ الْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ فَاجْعَلْ أَفْئِدَة ً مِنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَارْزُقْهُمْ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ
Rabbanā 'Innaka Ta`lamu Mā Nukhfī Wa Mā Nu`linu  ۗ  Wa Mā Yakhfá `Alá Al-Lahi Min Shay'in Al-'Arđi Wa Lā Fī As-Samā'i َ014-038 `Our Lord! You know all that we keep secret and all that we make known. There is nothing either on the earth or in the heaven that may be hidden from Allâh. رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَمَا نُعْلِنُ  ۗ  وَمَا يَخْفَى عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ شَيْء ٍ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاءِ
Al-Ĥamdu Lillahi Al-Ladhī Wahaba Lī `Alá Al-Kibari 'Ismā`īla Wa 'Isĥāqa  ۚ  'Inna Rabbī Lasamī`u Ad-Du`ā'i َ014-039 `All true and perfect praise belongs to Allâh Who has given me despite my old age (two sons) - Ismâîl and Isaac. My Lord is of course, the Hearer of prayers. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي وَهَبَ لِي عَلَى الْكِبَرِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ  ۚ  إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
Rabbi Aj`alnī Muqīma Aş-Şalāati Wa Min Dhurrīyatī  ۚ  Rabbanā Wa Taqabbal Du`ā'i َ014-040 `My Lord! make me a constant and steadfast observer of prayer and my children (as well). Our Lord! (bestow Your Grace on us) and accept my prayer. رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلاَةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي  ۚ  رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ
Rabbanā Aghfir Lī Wa Liwālidayya Wa Lilmu'uminīna Yawma Yaqūmu Al-Ĥisābu َ014-041 `Our Lord! protect me, my parents and the believers, against faults on the day when the reckoning takes place.´ رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Wa Lā Taĥsabanna Al-Laha Ghāfilāan `Ammā Ya`malu Až-Žālimūna  ۚ  'Innamā Yu'uakhkhiruhum Liyawmin Tashkhaşu Fīhi Al-'Abşāru َ014-042 And (O reader!) do not think that Allâh is unaware of all that these wrongdoers do. He only defers their punishment to the day when the eyes (of the people) will fixedly stare (in horror). وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلاً عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ  ۚ  إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْم ٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الأَبْصَارُ
Muhţi`īna Muqni`ī Ru'ūsihim Lā Yartaddu 'Ilayhim Ţarfuhum  ۖ  Wa 'Af'idatuhum Hawā'un َ014-043 They will be running in panic with their necks outstretched and heads erect, they will not be able to wink their eyes, and their hearts (utterly) void (of courage and hope). مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِي رُءُوسِهِمْ لاَ يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ  ۖ  وَأَفْئِدَتُهُمْ هَوَاء ٌ
Wa 'Andhiri An-Nāsa Yawma Ya'tīhimu Al-`Adhābu Fayaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Rabbanā 'Akhkhirnā 'Ilá 'Ajalin Qarībin Nujib Da`wataka Wa Nattabi`i Ar-Rusula  ۗ  'Awalam Takūnū 'Aqsamtum Min Qablu Mā Lakum Min Zawālin َ014-044 Warn these people of the day when the (threatened) punishment overtakes them, and those who are unjust will say, `Our Lord! grant us respite for a short term, we will respond to Your call and follow the Messengers.´ (It will be said to them), `Did you not swear before now (that) you would never have a fall? وَأَنذِرِ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ الْعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا رَبَّنَا أَخِّرْنَا إِلَى أَجَل ٍ قَرِيب ٍ نُجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ الرُّسُلَ  ۗ  أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُوا أَقْسَمْتُمْ مِنْ قَبْلُ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ زَوَال ٍ
Wa Sakantum Fī Masākini Al-Ladhīna Žalamū 'Anfusahum Wa Tabayyana Lakum Kayfa Fa`alnā Bihim Wa Đarabnā Lakumu Al-'Amthāla َ014-045 `(You said this though) you occupied the dwelling places of those who had wronged themselves and it had been clear to you how We had dealt with them (- the unjust). We have set forth all these descriptions for you clearly.´ وَسَكَنتُمْ فِي مَسَاكِنِ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ كَيْفَ فَعَلْنَا بِهِمْ وَضَرَبْنَا لَكُمُ الأَمْثَالَ
Wa Qad Makarū Makrahum Wa `Inda Al-Lahi Makruhum Wa 'In Kāna Makruhum Litazūla Minhu Al-Jibālu َ014-046 They have (already) hatched their plots. But even though they have plots that can move mountains, Allâh has power over (rendering) their plots (ineffective). وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِنْدَ اللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِنْ كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ الْجِبَالُ
Falā Taĥsabanna Al-Laha Mukhlifa Wa`dihi Rusulahu  ۗ  'Inna Al-Laha `Azīzun Dhū Antiqāmin َ014-047 So (O reader!) do not think that Allâh is going to break His Promise He made to His Messengers. Allâh is All-Mighty, Lord of retribution. فَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ مُخْلِفَ وَعْدِه ِِ رُسُلَهُ~ُ  ۗ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيز ٌ ذُو انتِقَام ٍ
Yawma Tubaddalu Al-'Arđu Ghayra Al-'Arđi Wa As-Samāwātu  ۖ  Wa Barazū Lillahi Al-Wāĥidi Al-Qahhāri َ014-048 Beware of the day when this earth will be changed into another earth and the heavens (as well shall be superseded by other heavens) and they (- all people) shall appear before Allâh, the One, the Most Supreme. يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ  ۖ  وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ
Wa Tará Al-Mujrimīna Yawma'idhin Muqarranīna Fī Al-'Aşfādi َ014-049 And on that day you shall see these guilty bound together in chains. وَتَرَى الْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِي الأَصْفَادِ
Sarābīluhum Min Qaţirānin Wa Taghshá Wujūhahumu An-Nāru َ014-050 Pitch will form their raiments and the fire shall envelop their faces; سَرَابِيلُهُمْ مِنْ قَطِرَان ٍ وَتَغْشَى وُجُوهَهُمُ النَّارُ
Liyajziya Al-Lahu Kulla Nafsin Mā Kasabat  ۚ  'Inna Al-Laha Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi َ014-051 (This will be) so that Allâh may reward every soul according to his deeds. Verily, Allâh is Swift at reckoning. لِيَجْزِيَ اللَّهُ كُلَّ نَفْس ٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ  ۚ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
dhā Balāghun Lilnnāsi Wa Liyundharū Bihi Wa Liya`lamū 'Annamā Huwa 'Ilahun Wāĥidun Wa Liyadhdhakkara 'Ū Al-'Albābi َ014-052 This (Qur´ân) is a Message to, (and sufficient to meet all the requirements of) all mankind. (It has other aims to serve,) and that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is the only One God, and that those possessed of pure knowledge may take heed. هَذَا بَلاَغ ٌ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيُنذَرُوا بِه ِِ وَلِيَعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَه ٌ ٌ وَاحِد ٌ وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ أُوْلُوا الأَلْبَابِ
