5) سُورَة المَائِدَه

Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Awfū Bil-`Uqūdi 'Uĥillat Lakum Bahīmatu Al-'An`āmi 'Illā Mā Yutlá `Alaykum Ghayra Muĥillī Aş-Şaydi Wa 'Antum Ĥurumun 'Inna Al-Laha Yaĥkumu Mā Yurīdu َ005-001 O you who believe! abide by all (your) obligations. All quadrupeds (of the class) of cattle (and feeding on plants) are made lawful to you (for food) other than those which are enumerated to you (as forbidden). Yet you are forbidden (to kill) game whilst in a pilgrim´s garb or in the Sacred Precincts. Verily, Allâh decrees what He intends. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَوْفُوا بِالْعُقُودِ أُحِلَّتْ لَكُمْ بَهِيمَةُ الأَنعَامِ  ۚ  إِلاَّ مَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ غَيْرَ مُحِلِّي الصَّيْدِ وَأَنْتُمْ حُرُم ٌ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا  ۗ  يُرِيدُ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tuĥillū Sha`ā'ira Al-Lahi Wa Lā Ash-Shahra Al-Ĥarāma Wa Lā Al-Hadya Wa Lā Al-Qalā'ida Wa Lā 'Āmmīna Al-Bayta Al-Ĥarāma Yabtaghūna Fađlāan Min Rabbihim Wa Riđwānāan  ۚ  Wa 'Idhā Ĥalaltum Fāşţādū  ۚ  Wa Lā Yajrimannakum Shana'ānu Qawmin 'An Şaddūkum `Ani Al-Masjidi Al-Ĥarāmi 'An Ta`tadū  ۘ  Wa Ta`āwanū `Alá Al-Birri Wa At-Taqwá  ۖ  Wa Lā Ta`āwanū `Alá Al-'Ithmi Wa Al-`Udwāni  ۚ  Wa Attaqū Al-Laha  ۖ  'Inna Al-Laha Shadīdu Al-`Iqābi َ005-002 O you who believe! do not desecrate the symbols (that lead to the knowledge and realisation) of Allâh, nor any sacred month, nor the animals brought as an offering, nor those animals wearing necklaces (as a mark of sacrifice during the Hajj), nor those (Pilgrims) repairing to the Sacred House, seeking favour and grace of their Lord and (His) good pleasure. And when you are free from Pilgrimage, having taken off the Pilgrims garb and are off the Sacred Precincts you may go hunting. And do not let the enmity of a people (and your grievances) that they hindered you from the Masjid al-Harâm (- Holy Mosque at Makkah) incite you to transgression (against them). Help one another in righteousness and in warding off evil, but do not help one another to commit sin and transgression, and take Allâh as a shield. Surely, Allâh is Severe in retribution. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تُحِلُّوا شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ وَلاَ الشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ وَلاَ الْهَدْيَ وَلاَ الْقَلاَئِدَ وَلاَ آمِّينَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلا ً مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَرِضْوَانا ً  ۚ  وَإِذَا حَلَلْتُمْ فَاصْطَادُوا  ۚ  وَلاَ يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ أَنْ صَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَنْ تَعْتَدُوا  ۘ  وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى  ۖ  وَلاَ تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ  ۚ  وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ  ۖ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
Ĥurrimat `Alaykumu Al-Maytatu Wa Ad-Damu Wa Laĥmu Al-Khinzīri Wa Mā 'Uhilla Lighayri Al-Lahi Bihi Wa Al-Munkhaniqatu Wa Al-Mawqūdhatu Wa Al-Mutaraddiyatu Wa An-Naţīĥatu Wa Mā 'Akala As-Sabu`u 'Illā Mā Dhakkaytum Wa Mā Dhubiĥa `Alá An-Nuşubi Wa 'An Tastaqsimū Bil-'Azlāmi  ۚ  Dhālikum Fisqun  ۗ  Al-Yawma Ya'isa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Min Dīnikum Falā Takhshawhum Wa Akhshawnī  ۚ  Al-Yawma 'Akmaltu Lakum Dīnakum Wa 'Atmamtu `Alaykum Ni`matī Wa Rađītu Lakumu Al-'Islāma Dīnāan  ۚ  Famani Ađţurra Fī Makhmaşatin Ghayra Mutajānifin L'ithmin  ۙ  Fa'inna Al-Laha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun َ005-003 You are forbidden (to take for food) an animal which dies of itself (a carrion), and the blood (poured forth), also the flesh of swine, and that which is immolated in the name of anyone other than Allâh, and that which has been strangled, and that which has been beaten to death, and that which has been killed by a fall, and that which has been gored to death, and that of which a wild beast has eaten, except what you have duly slaughtered (before its expiry). And (also forbidden to you is) that which has been slaughtered at altars (set up for false deities), and (you are also not permitted) that you seek to know your lot by the divining arrows. These are all acts of disobedience. This day have those who disbelieve despaired of (harming) your Faith. So do not hold them in awe but stand in awe of Me. This day have I perfected for you your faith and completed My blessings upon you and have chosen Islam for your religion (so abide by all these limits imposed upon you with regard to taking your food); but he who is forced by extreme hunger without being wilfully inclined to sin then, surely (he will find that) Allâh is Great Protector, Ever Merciful. حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ الْخِنزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِه ِِ وَالْمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَالْمَوْقُوذَةُ وَالْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَالنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَا أَكَلَ السَّبُعُ إِلاَّ مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى النُّصُبِ وَأَنْ تَسْتَقْسِمُوا بِالأَزْلاَمِ  ۚ  ذَلِكُمْ فِسْق ٌ  ۗ  الْيَوْمَ يَئِسَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ دِينِكُمْ فَلاَ تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِي  ۚ  الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الإِسْلاَمَ دِينا ً  ۚ  فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ فِي مَخْمَصَةٍ غَيْرَ مُتَجَانِف ٍ لإِثْم ٍ  ۙ  فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
Yas'alūnaka Mādhā 'Uĥilla Lahum  ۖ  Qul 'Uĥilla Lakumu Aţ-Ţayyibātu  ۙ  Wa Mā `Allamtum Mina Al-Jawāriĥi Mukallibīna Tu`allimūnahunna Mimmā `Allamakumu Al-Lahu  ۖ  Fakulū Mimmā 'Amsakna `Alaykum Wa Adhkurū Asma Al-Lahi `Alayhi  ۖ  Wa Attaqū Al-Laha  ۚ  'Inna Al-Laha Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi َ005-004 They ask you what is made lawful for them. Say, `All good and pure things are made lawful for you. Also (made lawful) is the game held down by those birds and beasts of prey which you have trained, provided you set them at it to catch (it living) for you, (without their own eating from it after killing it), since you train them according to the knowledge Allâh has given you. So eat of that which they hold down for you and pronounce thereon the name of Allâh (while slaughtering it or while sending the hunting creatures after it). And take Allâh as a shield. Surely, Allâh is Swift in reckoning. يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ  ۖ  قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ  ۙ  وَمَا عَلَّمْتُمْ مِنَ الْجَوَارِحِ مُكَلِّبِينَ تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ اللَّهُ  ۖ  فَكُلُوا مِمَّا أَمْسَكْنَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ  ۖ  وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ  ۚ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ
Al-Yawma 'Uĥilla Lakumu Aţ-Ţayyibātu  ۖ  Wa Ţa`āmu Al-Ladhīna 'Ū Al-Kitāba Ĥillun Lakum Wa Ţa`āmukum Ĥillun Lahum Wa  ۖ  Al-Muĥşanātu Mina Al-Mu'umināti Wa Al-Muĥşanātu Mina Al-Ladhīna 'Ū Al-Kitāba Min Qablikum 'Idhā 'Ātaytumūhunna 'Ujūrahunna Muĥşinīna Ghayra Musāfiĥīna Wa Lā Muttakhidhī 'Akhdānin  ۗ  Wa Man Yakfur Bil-'Īmāni Faqad Ĥabiţa `Amaluhu Wa Huwa Fī Al-'Ākhirati Mina Al-Khāsirīna َ005-005 This day all good and pure things have been made lawful for you. And the food of those who have been given the Scripture is lawful for you (provided the food does not include anything forbidden in Islam), and your food is lawful for them. And (lawful for you for marriage are) the chaste women from among the believing women and chaste women from among those who have been given the Scripture before you, provided that you pay them their dowers (to live with them) after contracting valid marriage, not committing fornication, nor seeking secret love affairs by taking secret paramours. And whoever denies the commandments of (the true) faith, no doubt (he will find) his deeds have gone in vain and he will be of the losers in the Hereafter. الْيَوْمَ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ  ۖ  وَطَعَامُ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ حِلّ ٌ لَكُمْ وَطَعَامُكُمْ حِلّ ٌ لَهُمْ  ۖ  وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُحْصَنَاتُ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ إِذَا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ مُحْصِنِينَ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحِينَ وَلاَ مُتَّخِذِي أَخْدَان ٍ  ۗ  وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ حَبِطَ عَمَلُه ُُ وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Idhā Qumtum 'Ilá Aş-Şalāati Fāghsilū Wujūhakum Wa 'Aydiyakum 'Ilá Al-Marāfiqi Wa Amsaĥū Biru'ūsikum Wa 'Arjulakum 'Ilá Al-Ka`bayni  ۚ  Wa 'In Kuntum Junubāan Fa Aţţahharū  ۚ  Wa 'In Kuntum Marđá 'Aw `Alá Safarin 'Aw Jā'a 'Aĥadun Minkum Mina Al-Ghā'iţi 'Aw Lāmastumu An-Nisā' Falam Tajidū Mā'an Fatayammamū Şa`īdāan Ţayyibāanmsaĥū Biwujūhikum Wa 'Aydīkum Minhu  ۚ  Mā Yurīdu Al-Lahu Liyaj`ala `Alaykum Min Ĥarajin Wa Lakin Yurīdu Liyuţahhirakum Waliyutimma Ni`matahu `Alaykum La`allakum Tashkurūna َ005-006 O you who believe! when you get up for Prayer (perform the ablution, so as to) wash your faces and your hands upto the elbows, and pass your (wet) hands over your heads (for mashah), and (wash) your feet upto the ankles. And if you are under an obligation to perform a bath, then wash yourselves thoroughly clean by a bath. But if you have been taken ill or on a journey (while under obligation to take a bath) or one of you comes from the privy, or you have had (sexual) contact with women and you do not find water, then have recourse to clean pure dust and wipe your faces and your hands with it (as Tayammum). Allâh does not intend to impose any impediments on you, but He intends to purify you (internally and externally) and complete His blessings upon you so that you may give (Him) thanks. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ فَاغْسِلُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى الْمَرَافِقِ وَامْسَحُوا بِرُءُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ  ۚ  وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ جُنُبا ً فَاطَّهَّرُوا  ۚ  وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ مَرْضَى أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَاءَ أَحَد ٌ مِنْكُمْ مِنَ الْغَائِطِ أَوْ لاَمَسْتُمُ النِسَاء فَلَمْ تَجِدُوا مَاء ً فَتَيَمَّمُوا صَعِيدا ً طَيِّبا ً فَامْسَحُوا بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُمْ مِنْهُ  ۚ  مَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ حَرَج ٍ وَلَكِنْ يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَه ُُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
Wa Adhkurū Ni`mata Al-Lahi `Alaykum Wa Mīthāqahu Al-Ladhī Wa Athaqakum Bihi 'Idh Qultum Sami`nā Wa 'Aţa`nā  ۖ  Wa Attaqū Al-Laha  ۚ  'Inna Al-Laha `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri َ005-007 And (O Muslims!) remember Allâh´s favour which rests upon you (in the form of the Qur´ân) and (to abide by its teachings) His covenant to which He has bound you, when you said, `We hear (your commandments) and we obey (them).´ And take Allâh as a shield. Verily, Allâh knows well what is in the inmost depths of the minds. وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمِيثَاقَهُ الَّذِي وَاثَقَكُمْ بِهِ~ِ إِذْ قُلْتُمْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا  ۖ  وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ  ۚ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيم ٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Kūnū Qawwāmīna Lillahi Shuhadā'a Bil-Qisţi  ۖ  Wa Lā Yajrimannakum Shana'ānu Qawmin `Alá 'Allā Ta`dilū  ۚ  A`dilū Huwa 'Aqrabu Lilttaqwá  ۖ  Wa Attaqū Al-Laha  ۚ  'Inna Al-Laha Khabīrun Bimā Ta`malūna َ005-008 O you who believe! be steadfast, upholders of the right for the cause of Allâh, bearers of true witness in equity, and do not let the enmity of a people move you at all to act otherwise than equitably. Be equitable (always); that is nearer to being secure against evil, and take Allâh as a shield. Surely, Allâh is Well-Aware of what you do. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ لِلَّهِ شُهَدَاءَ بِالْقِسْطِ  ۖ  وَلاَ يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ عَلَى أَلاَّ تَعْدِلُوا  ۚ  اعْدِلُوا هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى  ۖ  وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ  ۚ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِير ٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
Wa`ada Al-Lahu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti  ۙ  Lahum Maghfiratun Wa 'Ajrun `Ažīmun َ005-009 Allâh has promised protection and a great reward for those who believe and do deeds of righteousness. وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ  ۙ  لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَة ٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu Al-Jaĥīmi َ005-010 But as to those who disbelieve and reject Our Messages it is these who are the fellows of the blazing Fire. وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَائِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Adhkurū Ni`mata Al-Lahi `Alaykum 'Idh Hamma Qawmun 'An Yabsuţū 'Ilaykum 'Aydiyahum Fakaffa 'Aydiyahum `Ankum  ۖ  Wa Attaqū Al-Laha  ۚ  Wa `Alá Al-Lahi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu'uminūna َ005-011 O you who believe! remember Allâh´s favour upon you when a people had made up their minds to lay their hands on you, but He withheld their hands from you; and take Allâh as a shield. The believers should then put (their) trust in Allâh. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ هَمَّ قَوْمٌ أَنْ يَبْسُطُوا إِلَيْكُمْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَكَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ  ۖ  وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ  ۚ  وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Laqad 'Akhadha Al-Lahu Mīthāqa Banī 'Isrā'īla Wa Ba`athnā Minhumu Athnay `Ashara Naqībāan  ۖ  Wa Qāla Al-Lahu 'Innī Ma`akum  ۖ  La'in 'Aqamtumu Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Ātaytumu Az-Zakāata Wa 'Āmantum Birusulī Wa `Azzartumūhum Wa 'Aqrađtumu Al-Laha Qarđāan Ĥasanāan La'ukaffiranna `Ankum Sayyi'ātikum Wa La'udkhilannakum Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru  ۚ  Faman Kafara Ba`da Dhālika Minkum Faqad Đalla Sawā'a As-Sabīli َ005-012 And Allâh, indeed, took a covenant from the Children of Israel, and We raised twelve chieftains from among them. And Allâh said, ´Surely, I am with you. If you observe prayer and present the purifying dues and believe in My Messengers and lend them support in a respectful manner, and perform an act of virtue and cut off a portion of your goodly gifts for (the cause of) Allâh, I will certainly absolve you of your sins and will surely admit you to Gardens served with running streams. But if anyone of you disbelieves after that surely he has strayed away from the right way. وَلَقَدْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنْهُمُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ نَقِيبا ً  ۖ  وَقَالَ اللَّهُ إِنِّي مَعَكُمْ  ۖ  لَئِنْ أَقَمْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَيْتُمُ الزَّكَاةَ وَآمَنْتُمْ بِرُسُلِي وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ اللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَنا ً لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ  ۚ  فَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ
Fabimā Naqđihimthāqahum La`annāhum Wa Ja`alnā Qulūbahum Qāsiyatan  ۖ  Yuĥarrifūna Al-Kalima `An Mawāđi`ihi  ۙ  Wa Nasū Ĥažžāan Mimmā Dhukkirū Bihi  ۚ  Wa Lā Tazālu Taţţali`u `Alá Khā'inatin Minhum 'Illā Qalīlāan Minhum  ۖ  Fā`fu `Anhum Wa Aşfaĥ  ۚ  'Inna Al-Laha Yuĥibbu Al-Muĥsinīna َ005-013 So on account of their breaking their covenant We deprived them of Our blessings, and We let their hearts become hardened. Now they pervert the words from their proper context (of the Divine Book) and (in doing so) they have abandoned a good portion of what they were (reminded of and) exhorted with. And you will never cease to discover one dishonesty (or the other) on their part, with the exception of a few of them; so pardon them and pass (them) over. Verily, Allâh loves the doers of good to others. فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِمْ مِيثَاقَهُمْ لَعَنَّاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَاسِيَة ً  ۖ  يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَنْ مَوَاضِعِه ِِ  ۙ  وَنَسُوا حَظّا ً مِمَّا ذُكِّرُوا بِه ِِ  ۚ  وَلاَ تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى خَائِنَة ٍ مِنْهُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلا ً مِنْهُمْ  ۖ  فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاصْفَحْ  ۚ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Wa Mina Al-Ladhīna Qālū 'Innā Naşārá 'Akhadhnā Mīthāqahum Fanasū Ĥažžāan Mimmā Dhukkirū Bihi Fa'aghraynā Baynahumu Al-`Adāwata Wa Al-Baghđā'a 'Ilá Yawmi Al-Qiyāmati  ۚ  Wa Sawfa Yunabbi'uhumu Al-Lahu Bimā Kānū Yaşna`ūna َ005-014 We took the covenant of those (also) who say, `We are Christians;´ but they have abandoned a good portion of what they were (reminded of and) exhorted with. So We have kindled enmity and hatred between (various sects of) them till the Day of Resurrection. And Allâh will soon inform them of all their machination. وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّا نَصَارَى أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَهُمْ فَنَسُوا حَظّا ً مِمَّا ذُكِّرُوا بِه ِِ فَأَغْرَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ  ۚ  وَسَوْفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللَّهُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ
Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Qad Jā'akum Rasūlunā Yubayyinu Lakum Kathīrāan Mimmā Kuntum Tukhfūna Mina Al-Kitābi Wa Ya`fū `An Kathīrin  ۚ  Qad Jā'akum Mina Al-Lahi Nūrun Wa Kitābun Mubīnun َ005-015 O people of the Scripture! Our Messenger, who has come to you, unfolds many teachings of the Scripture which you had kept hidden, and many a thing he passes over. There has come to you, indeed, from Allâh a Light and the perspicuous Book (- the Qur´ân) that distinguishes the right from the wrong. يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيرا ً مِمَّا كُنْتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَعْفُو عَنْ كَثِير ٍ  ۚ  قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ نُور ٌ وَكِتَاب ٌ مُبِين ٌ
Yahdī Bihi Al-Lahu Mani Attaba`a Riđwānahu Subula As-Salāmi Wa Yukhrijuhum Mina Až-Žulumāti 'Ilá An-Nūri Bi'idhnihi Wa Yahdīhim 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin َ005-016 Allâh guides with this (Book) those who follow His good pleasure to the ways of peace (both physical and spiritual), and He takes them out of all kinds of darkness into the light, by His leave, and guides them along the exact right path. يَهْدِي بِهِ اللَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَه ُُ سُبُلَ السَّلاَمِ وَيُخْرِجُهُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِه ِِ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَى صِرَاط ٍ مُسْتَقِيم ٍ
Laqad Kafara Al-Ladhīna Qālū 'Inna Al-Laha Huwa Al-Masīĥu Abnu Maryama  ۚ  Qul Faman Yamliku Mina Al-Lahi Shay'āan 'In 'Arāda 'An Yuhlika Al-Masīĥa Abna Maryama Wa 'Ummahu Wa Man Al-'Arđi Jamī`āan  ۗ  Wa Lillahi Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Baynahumā  ۚ  Ykhluqu Mā Yashā'u Wa  ۚ  Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun َ005-017 They have only disbelieved who say, `Verily, Allâh - He is the Messiah, son of Mary.´ Say, `Who then had any power to stand in the way of Allâh when He intended to put an end to the Messiah, son of Mary, and his mother, and all those that were in the earth?´ And to Allâh belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between the two. He creates what He will, for He is the Possessor of full power to do all that He will. لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ  ۚ  قُلْ فَمَنْ يَمْلِكُ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئا ً إِنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُهْلِكَ الْمَسِيحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّه ُُ وَمَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيعا ً  ۗ  وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا  ۚ  يخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ  ۚ  وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء ٍ قَدِير ٌ
Wa Qālati Al-Yahūdu Wa An-Naşārá Naĥnu 'Abnā'u Al-Lahi Wa 'Aĥibbā'uuhu  ۚ  Qul Falima Yu`adhdhibukum Bidhunūbikum  ۖ  Bal 'Antum Basharun Mimman Khalaqa  ۚ  Yaghfiru Liman Yashā'u Wa Yu`adhdhibu Man Yashā'u  ۚ  Wa Lillahi Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Baynahumā  ۖ  Wa 'Ilayhi Al-Maşīru َ005-018 The Jews and the Christians say (in respect of each of themselves), `We are the sons of Allâh, and His loved ones.´ Say, `Why then does He punish you for your sins? Nay, you are but human beings like many of His creation.´ He protects whom He will and punishes whom He will. To Allâh belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between the two and to Him is the (final) return (of all). وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى نَحْنُ أَبْنَاءُ اللَّهِ وَأَحِبَّاؤُه ُُ  ۚ  قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُمْ بِذُنُوبِكُمْ  ۖ  بَلْ أَنْتُمْ بَشَر ٌ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ  ۚ  يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ  ۚ  وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا  ۖ  وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ
Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Qad Jā'akum Rasūlunā Yubayyinu Lakum `Alá Fatratin Mina Ar-Rusuli 'An Taqūlū Mā Jā'anā Min Bashīrin Wa Lā Nadhīrin  ۖ  Faqad Jā'akum Bashīrun Wa Nadhīrun Wa  ۗ  Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun َ005-019 O people of the Scripture! there has already come to you Our Messenger who makes things clear to you after a break in the series of Messengers lest you should say, `There has not come to us any Bearer of good tidings, nor a Warner.´ Now there has, indeed, come to you a Bearer of good tidings and a Warner. And Allâh is the Possessor of full power to do all that He will. يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ عَلَى فَتْرَة ٍ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ أَنْ تَقُولُوا مَا جَاءَنَا مِنْ بَشِير ٍ وَلاَ نَذِير ٍ  ۖ  فَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ بَشِير ٌ وَنَذِير ٌ  ۗ  وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء ٍ قَدِير ٌ
Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsá Liqawmihi Yā Qawmi Adhkurū Ni`mata Al-Lahi `Alaykum 'Idh Ja`ala Fīkum 'Anbiyā'a Wa Ja`alakum Mulūkāan Wa 'Ātākum Mā Lam Yu'uti 'Aĥadāan Mina Al-`Ālamīna َ005-020 And (recall the time) when Moses said to his people, `O my people! remember Allâh´s blessings upon you when He raised Prophets among you and made you masters of your own affairs, and He gave you what He has not given to any other of your contemporary peoples. وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِه ِِ يَا قَوْمِ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَعَلَ فِيكُمْ أَنْبِيَاءَ وَجَعَلَكُمْ مُلُوكا ً وَآتَاكُمْ مَا لَمْ يُؤْتِ أَحَدا ً مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ
Yā Qawmi Adkhulū Al-'Arđa Al-Muqaddasata Allatī Kataba Al-Lahu Lakum Wa Lā Tartaddū `Alá 'Adrikum Fatanqalibū Khāsirīna َ005-021 `O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allâh has ordained for you, and turn not on your backs, for then you turn losers.´ يَا قَوْمِ ادْخُلُوا الأَرْضَ الْمُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِي كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلاَ تَرْتَدُّوا عَلَى أَدْبَارِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوا خَاسِرِينَ
Qālū Yā Mūsá 'Inna Fīhā Qawmāan Jabbārīna Wa 'Innā Lan Nadkhulahā Ĥattá Yakhrujū Minhā Fa'in Yakhrujū Minhā Fa'innā Dākhilūna َ005-022 They said, `O Moses! surely there are in that (land) arrogant and exceedingly powerful people and we shall never enter it until they depart from it, but if they depart from it, then we will certainly enter (it).´ قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوْما ً جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَنْ نَدْخُلَهَا حَتَّى يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فَإِنَّا دَاخِلُونَ
Qāla Rajulāni Mina Al-Ladhīna Yakhāfūna 'An`ama Al-Lahu `Alayhimā Adkhulū `Alayhimu Al-Bāba Fa'idhā Dakhaltumūhu Fa'innakum Ghālibūna  ۚ  Wa `Alá Al-Lahi Fatawakkalū 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna َ005-023 (Thereupon) two men (- Joshua and Caleb) from among those who feared (their Lord) and on whom Allâh had bestowed His blessings said, `Enter the gate (of the city advancing) against them, for when once you have entered it you shall surely be victorious, and in Allâh you should put your trust when you are believers (in Him).´ قَالَ رَجُلاَنِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا ادْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِمُ الْبَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمُوه ُُ فَإِنَّكُمْ غَالِبُونَ  ۚ  وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوا إِنْ كُنتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Qālū Yā Mūsá 'Innā Lan Nadkhulahā 'Abadāan Mā Dāmū Fīhā  ۖ  Fādh/hab 'Anta Wa Rabbuka Faqātilā 'Innā Hāhunā Qā`idūna َ005-024 They said, `O Moses! we will, certainly, never enter it so long as they are therein, so go forth you and your Lord, then fight (there) you two, surely, we will sit down here (and watch).´ قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى إِنَّا لَنْ نَدْخُلَهَا أَبَدا ً مَا دَامُوا فِيهَا  ۖ  فَاذْهَبْ أَنْتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَاتِلاَ إِنَّا هَاهُنَا قَاعِدُونَ
Qāla Rabbi 'Innī Lā 'Amliku 'Illā Nafsī Wa 'Akhī  ۖ  Fāfruq Baynanā Wa Bayna Al-Qawmi Al-Fāsiqīna َ005-025 (Moses) said, `My Lord! surely, I have no control but on myself and my brother (Aaron), therefore bring about separation between us and these disobedient people.´ قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لاَ أَمْلِكُ إِلاَّ نَفْسِي وَأَخِي  ۖ  فَافْرُقْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ
Qāla Fa'innahā Muĥarramatun `Alayhim  ۛ  'Arba`īna Sanatan  ۛ  Yatīhūna Fī Al-'Arđi  ۚ  Falā Ta'sa `Alá Al-Qawmi Al-Fāsiqīna َ005-026 (God) said, `Verily, it (- the Holy Land) is forbidden to them for forty years. They shall wander about in the earth distracted and in confusion, so grieve not over these disobedient people.´ قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَيْهِمْ  ۛ  أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَة ً  ۛ  يَتِيهُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ  ۚ  فَلاَ تَأْسَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ
Wa Atlu `Alayhim Naba'a Abnay 'Ādama Bil-Ĥaqqi 'Idh Qarrabā Qurbānāan Fatuqubbila Min 'Aĥadihimā Wa Lam Yutaqabbal Mina Al-'Ākhari Qāla La'aqtulannaka  ۖ  Qāla 'Innamā Yataqabbalu Al-Lahu Mina Al-Muttaqīna َ005-027 And relate to them with the truth the great news of the two sons of Adam, when they (each) made an offering, and it was accepted from one of them and was not accepted from the other. (The latter whose offering was not accepted, out of jealousy for the other) said, `I will slay you.´ He replied, `(How can I be held responsible for the rejection of your offering;) Allâh accepts only from those who become secure against evil, وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ ابْنَيْ آدَمَ بِالْحَقِّ إِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَانا ً فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ الآخَرِ قَالَ لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَ  ۖ  قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
La'in Basaţta 'Ilayya Yadaka Litaqtulanī Mā 'Anā Bibāsiţin Yadiya 'Ilayka Li'qtulaka  ۖ  'Innī 'Akhāfu Al-Laha Rabba Al-`Ālamīna َ005-028 `Should you lay your hand on me to kill me, I am not at all going to lay my hand on you to kill you. I do fear Allâh, the Lord of the worlds; لَئِنْ بَسَطتَ إِلَيَّ يَدَكَ لِتَقْتُلَنِي مَا أَنَا بِبَاسِط ٍ يَدِيَ إِلَيْكَ لِأقْتُلَكَ  ۖ  إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ
'Innī 'Urīdu 'An Tabū'a Bi'ithmī Wa 'Ithmika Fatakūna Min 'Aşĥābi An-Nāri  ۚ  Wa Dhalika Jazā'u Až-Žālimīna َ005-029 `I would rather like you to bear (the burden of) the sin (committed) against me (- the sin of the murder), and (that of) your own sin (committed previously due to which your offering was not accepted), and thus you would become of the fellows of the Fire.´ Such indeed is the recompense of the wrongdoers. إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ تَبُوءَ بِإِثْمِي وَإِثْمِكَ فَتَكُونَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ  ۚ  وَذَلِكَ جَزَاءُ الظَّالِمِينَ
Faţawwa`at Lahu Nafsuhu Qatla 'Akhīhi Faqatalahu Fa'aşbaĥa Mina Al-Khāsirīna َ005-030 But (the baser instincts of) his mind prompted him (whose offering was not accepted) to kill his brother (whose offering was accepted), so he killed him, wherefore he became one of the losers. فَطَوَّعَتْ لَه ُُ نَفْسُه ُُ قَتْلَ أَخِيه ِِ فَقَتَلَه ُُ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Faba`atha Al-Lahu Ghurābāan Yabĥathu Fī Al-'Arđi Liyuriyahu Kayfa Yuwārī Saw'ata 'Akhīhi  ۚ  Qāla Yā Waylatā 'A`ajaztu 'An 'Akūna Mithla Hādhā Al-Ghurābi Fa'uwāriya Saw'ata 'Akhī  ۖ  Fa'aşbaĥa Mina An-Nādimīna َ005-031 Then Allâh sent a raven which scratched into the earth so as to show him how he might cover his brother´s dead body. He said, `Woe is me! Am I unable to be even like this raven so that I may cover the dead body of my brother?´ And he became one of the remorseful. فَبَعَثَ اللَّهُ غُرَابا ً يَبْحَثُ فِي الأَرْضِ لِيُرِيَه ُُ كَيْفَ يُوَارِي سَوْأَةَ أَخِيه ِِ  ۚ  قَالَ يَاوَيْلَتَا أَعَجَزْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْغُرَابِ فَأُوَارِيَ سَوْأَةَ أَخِي فَأَصْبَحَ  ۖ  مِنَ النَّادِمِينَ
Min 'Ajli Dhālika Katabnā `Alá Banī 'Isrā'īla 'Annahu Man Qatala Nafsāan Bighayri Nafsin 'Aw Fasādin Al-'Arđi Faka'annamā Qatala An-Nāsa Jamī`āan Wa Man 'Aĥyāhā Faka'annamā 'Aĥyā An-Nāsa Jamī`āan  ۚ  Wa Laqad Jā'at/hum Rusulunā Bil-Bayyināti Thumma 'Inna Kathīrāan Minhum Ba`da Dhālika Fī Al-'Arđi Lamusrifūna َ005-032 Because of this (incident) We laid down for the Children of Israel that he who kills a human being - unless it be for (murdering) a person or for (reforming) disorder in the country, it is as if he has killed entire human race. And whoso saves a (human) life it is as if he has saved the entire mankind. Certainly, Our Messengers had already come to them with clear arguments, yet (even after that) many of them were certainly those who committed excesses in the land. مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنَّه ُُ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسا ً بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَاد ٍ فِي الأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعا ً وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعا ً  ۚ  وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرا ً مِنْهُمْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي الأَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ
'Innamā Jazā'u Al-Ladhīna Yuĥāribūna Al-Laha Wa Rasūlahu Wa Yas`awna Fī Al-'Arđi Fasādāan 'An Yuqattalū 'Aw Yuşallabū 'Aw Tuqaţţa`a 'Aydīhim Wa 'Arjuluhum Min Khilāfin 'Aw Yunfaw Mina Al-'Arđi  ۚ  Dhālika Lahum Khizyun Ad-Dunyā  ۖ  Wa Lahum Al-'Ākhirati `Adhābun `Ažīmun َ005-033 The only recompense of those who make war against Allâh and His Messenger and who strive hard to create disorder in the land, is (according to the nature of the crime) that they be executed or crucified to death, or that their hands and feet be cut off on account of their opposition, or their (free) movement in the land be banned (by exile or imprisonment). This would mean ignominy for them in this world and there awaits them in the Hereafter a severe punishment. إِنَّمَا جَزَاءُ الَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَه ُُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ فَسَاداً أَنْ يُقَتَّلُوا أَوْ يُصَلَّبُوا أَوْ تُقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُمْ مِنْ خِلاَفٍ أَوْ يُنفَوْا مِنَ الأَرْضِ  ۚ  ذَلِكَ لَهُمْ خِزْي ٌ فِي الدُّنيَا  ۖ  وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
'Illā Al-Ladhīna Tābū Min Qabli 'An Taqdirū `Alayhim  ۖ  Fā`lamū 'Anna Al-Laha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun َ005-034 Different, however, is the case of those (criminals) who turn with repentance before you overpower them. And know that, surely, Allâh is Great Protector, Ever Merciful. إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ تَابُوا مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَقْدِرُوا عَلَيْهِمْ  ۖ  فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Attaqū Al-Laha Wa Abtaghū 'Ilayhi Al-Wasīlata Wa Jāhidū Fī Sabīlihi La`allakum Tufliĥūna َ005-035 O you who believe! take Allâh as a shield and seek means of nearness to Him, and struggle for His cause, so that you may attain your goal. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَابْتَغُوا إِلَيْهِ الْوَسِيلَةَ وَجَاهِدُوا فِي سَبِيلِه ِِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Law 'Anna Lahum Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Jamī`āan Wa Mithlahu Ma`ahu Liyaftadū Bihi Min `Adhābi Yawmi Al-Qiyāmati Mā Tuqubbila Minhum  ۖ  Wa Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun َ005-036 As for those who disbelieve even if they come to possess all that is in the earth and as much more (to offer) that they might redeem themselves therewith from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, it would not be accepted from them. There awaits them a grievous punishment. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُمْ مَا فِي الأَرْضِ جَمِيعا ً وَمِثْلَه ُُ مَعَه ُُ لِيَفْتَدُوا بِه ِِ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنْهُمْ  ۖ  وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيم ٌ
Yurīdūna 'An Yakhrujū Mina An-Nāri Wa Mā Hum Bikhārijīna Minhā  ۖ  Wa Lahum `Adhābun Muqīmun َ005-037 They would wish to come out of the Fire but they will not be able to come out of it (of themselves). There awaits them a long-lasting punishment. يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا هُمْ بِخَارِجِينَ مِنْهَا  ۖ  وَلَهُمْ عَذَاب ٌ مُقِيم ٌ
Wa As-Sāriqu Wa As-Sāriqatu Fāqţa`ū 'Aydiyahumā Jazā'an Bimā Kasabā Nakālāan Mina  ۗ  Al-Lahi Wa Allāhu `Azīzun Ĥakīmun َ005-038 And as for the man addicted to theft and the woman addicted to theft, cut off their hands in retribution of (the crime) that they have committed - an exemplary punishment from Allâh. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise. وَالسَّارِقُ وَالسَّارِقَةُ فَاقْطَعُوا أَيْدِيَهُمَا جَزَاء ً بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَالا ً مِنَ اللَّهِ  ۗ  وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيم ٌ
Faman Tāba Min Ba`di Žulmihi Wa 'Aşlaĥa Fa'inna Al-Laha Yatūbu `Alayhi  ۗ  'Inna Al-Laha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun َ005-039 But whoso turns in repentance after his committing an unjust deed and reforms (himself) then surely Allâh will turn to him with mercy. Verily, Allâh is Great Protector, Ever Merciful. فَمَنْ تَابَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ظُلْمِه ِِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِ  ۗ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
'Alam Ta`lam 'Anna Al-Laha Lahu Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Yu`adhdhibu Man Yashā'u Wa Yaghfiru Liman Yashā'u Wa  ۗ  Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun َ005-040 Do you not know that Allâh is He to Whom belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whom He will and protects whom He will. And Allâh is the Possessor of full power to do all that He will. أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَه ُُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ يُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ  ۗ  وَاللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء ٍ قَدِير ٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Ar-Rasūlu Lā Yaĥzunka Al-Ladhīna Yusāri`ūna Fī Al-Kufri Mina Al-Ladhīna Qālū 'Āmannā Bi'afwāhihim Wa Lam Tu'umin Qulūbuhum  ۛ  Wa Mina Al-Ladhīna Hādū  ۛ  Sammā`ūna Lilkadhibi Sammā`ūna Liqawmin 'Ākharīna Lam Ya'tūka  ۖ  Yuĥarrifūna Al-Kalima Min Ba`di Mawāđi`ihi  ۖ  Yaqūlūna 'In 'Ūtītumdhā Fakhudhūhu Wa 'In Lam Tu'utawhu Fāĥdharū  ۚ  Wa Man Yuridi Al-Lahu Fitnatahu Falan Tamlika Lahu Mina Al-Lahi Shay'āan  ۚ  'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Lam Yuridi Al-Lahu 'An Yuţahhira Qulūbahum  ۚ  Lahum Ad-DunKhizyun  ۖ  Wa Lahum Al-'Ākhirati `Adhābun `Ažīmun َ005-041 O Messenger! let not those who vie with one another in (- spreading) disbelief,- those of them who say with their mouths, `we believe´, but their hearts believe not, and those of them who judaised, grieve you. They are the acceptors of falsehood and are those who listen for conveying to other people who have not yet come to you. They tear the words (of God) from their proper places (and pervert the meanings thereof and) say, `If you are given this (sort of commandment) accept it and if you are not given this, then be careful.´ And he (on) whom Allâh desires (to inflict) His punishment, you can do nothing to save him from (the punishment of) Allâh. It is these whose hearts Allâh has not been pleased to purify. Ignominy is their lot in this world, and there awaits them in the Hereafter a great punishment. يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ لاَ يَحْزُنْكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَلَمْ تُؤْمِنْ قُلُوبُهُمْ  ۛ  وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُوا  ۛ  سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ سَمَّاعُونَ لِقَوْم ٍ آخَرِينَ لَمْ يَأْتُوكَ  ۖ  يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِه ِِ  ۖ  يَقُولُونَ إِنْ أُوتِيتُمْ هَذَا فَخُذُوه ُُ وَإِنْ لَمْ تُؤْتَوْهُ فَاحْذَرُوا  ۚ  وَمَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ فِتْنَتَه ُُ فَلَنْ تَمْلِكَ لَه ُُ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئاً  ۚ  أُوْلَائِكَ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَهُمْ  ۚ  لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْي ٌ  ۖ  وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيم ٌ
Sammā`ūna Lilkadhibi 'Akkālūna Lilssuĥti  ۚ  Fa'in Jā'ūka Fāĥkum Baynahum 'Aw 'A`riđ `Anhum  ۖ  Wa 'In Tu`riđ `Anhum Falan Yađurrūka Shay'āan  ۖ  Wa 'In Ĥakamta Fāĥkum Baynahum Bil-Qisţi  ۚ  'Inna Al-Laha Yuĥibbu Al-Muqsiţīna َ005-042 (They are) habitual listeners to falsehood, too much given to eat things forbidden. If they come to you (seeking your judgment) judge between them or turn aside from them. If you turn aside from them, they shall do you no harm at all. But if you judge, then judge between them with justice, for surely Allâh loves the just. سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ أَكَّالُونَ لِلسُّحْتِ  ۚ  فَإِنْ جَاءُوكَ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ أَوْ أَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ  ۖ  وَإِنْ تُعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ فَلَنْ يَضُرُّوكَ شَيْئا ً  ۖ  وَإِنْ حَكَمْتَ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْقِسْطِ  ۚ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ
Wa Kayfa Yuĥakkimūnaka Wa `Indahumu At-Tawrāatu Fīhā Ĥukmu Al-Lahi Thumma Yatawallawna Min Ba`di Dhālika  ۚ  Wa Mā 'Ūlā'ika Bil-Mu'uminīna َ005-043 And how should they appoint you their judge whilst they have with them the Torah which contains the law (and judgment) of Allâh. Yet they turn their backs even after that (you judge between them). And such people are not true believers (neither in the Qur´ân nor in the Torah). وَكَيْفَ يُحَكِّمُونَكَ وَعِنْدَهُمُ التَّوْرَاةُ فِيهَا حُكْمُ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ  ۚ  وَمَا أُوْلَائِكَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ
'Innā 'Anzalnā At-Tawrāata Fīhā Hudáan Wa Nūrun  ۚ  Yaĥkumu Bihā An-Nabīyūna Al-Ladhīna 'Aslamū Lilladhīna Hādū Wa Ar-Rabbānīyūna Wa Al-'Aĥbāru Bimā Astuĥfižū Min Kitābi Al-Lahi Wa Kānū `Alayhi Shuhadā'a  ۚ  Falā Takhshaw An-Nāsa Wa Akhshawnī Wa Lā Tashtarū Bi'āyātī Thamanāan Qalīlāan  ۚ  Wa Man Lam Yaĥkum Bimā 'Anzala Al-Lahu Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Kāfirūna َ005-044 Verily, it is We Who revealed Torah wherein there was guidance and light. According to it the Prophets, who submitted themselves (to Us), did judge for those who judaised and (so also did) the teachers of Divine knowledge, and those learned (in the Law); (they did it) because they were required to preserve some of the Scripture of Allâh and (because) they stood guardians over it. Hence hold not people in awe but stand in awe of Me and do not barter away My Messages for a trifling gain. And he who does not judge according to that (law) which Allâh has revealed, it is these who are the real disbelievers. إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا التَّوْرَاةَ فِيهَا هُدى ً وَنُور ٌ  ۚ  يَحْكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّونَ الَّذِينَ أَسْلَمُوا لِلَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالأَحْبَارُ بِمَا اسْتُحْفِظُوا مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَكَانُوا عَلَيْهِ شُهَدَاءَ  ۚ  فَلاَ تَخْشَوْا النَّاسَ وَاخْشَوْنِي وَلاَ تَشْتَرُوا بِآيَاتِي ثَمَنا ً قَلِيلا ً  ۚ  وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ
Wa Katabnā `Alayhim Fīhā 'Anna An-Nafsa Bin-Nafsi Wa Al-`Ayna Bil-`Ayni Wa Al-'Anfa Bil-'Anfi Wa Al-'Udhuna Bil-'Udhuni Wa As-Sinna Bis-Sinni Wa Al-Jurūĥa Qişāşun  ۚ  Faman Taşaddaqa Bihi Fahuwa Kaffāratun Lahu  ۚ  Wa Man Lam Yaĥkum Bimā 'Anzala Al-Lahu Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Až-Žālimūna َ005-045 And therein We laid down (the following law) for them (- the Jews); life for life and eye for eye, and nose for nose, and ear for ear, and tooth for tooth and for (other) injuries an equitable retaliation. But he who chooses to forgo (the right) thereto for the sake of Allâh, it shall be an expiation of sins for him. And whoever does not judge according to (the law) which Allâh has revealed, these it is who are the very unjust. وَكَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِيهَا أَنَّ النَّفْسَ بِالنَّفْسِ وَالْعَيْنَ بِالْعَيْنِ وَالأَنفَ بِالأَنفِ وَالأُذُنَ بِالأُذُنِ وَالسِّنَّ بِالسِّنِّ وَالْجُرُوحَ قِصَاص ٌ  ۚ  فَمَنْ تَصَدَّقَ بِه ِِ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَة ٌ لَه ُُ  ۚ  وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ
Wa Qaffaynā `Alá 'Āthārihim Bi`īsá Abni Maryama Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Mina At-Tawrāati  ۖ  Wa 'Ātaynāhu Al-'Injīla Fīhi Hudáan Wa Nūrun Wa Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Mina At-Tawrāati Wa Hudáan Wa Maw`ižatan Lilmuttaqīna َ005-046 And We sent Jesus, son of Mary, in the footsteps of these (Prophets), fulfilling that which was (revealed) before him, of the Torah, and We gave him the Evangel which contained guidance and light, fulfilling that which was (revealed) before it, of the Torah, and was a (means of) guidance and an exhortation for those who guard against evil. وَقَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقا ً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ  ۖ  وَآتَيْنَاهُ الإِنجِيلَ فِيه ِِ هُدى ً وَنُور ٌ وَمُصَدِّقا ً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَهُدى ً وَمَوْعِظَة ً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
Wa Līaĥkum 'Ahlu Al-'Injīli Bimā 'Anzala Al-Lahu Fīhi  ۚ  Wa Man Lam Yaĥkum Bimā 'Anzala Al-Lahu Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Fāsiqūna َ005-047 And let the followers of the Evangel judge according to what Allâh has revealed therein. And indeed those who do not judge according to what Allâh has revealed it is these who are the real disobedient. وَلْيَحْكُمْ أَهْلُ الإِنجِيلِ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ فِيه ِِ  ۚ  وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
Wa 'Anzalnā 'Ilayka Al-Kitāba Bil-Ĥaqqi Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Mina Al-Kitābi Wa Muhaymināan `Alayhi  ۖ  Fāĥkum Baynahum Bimā 'Anzala Al-Lahu  ۖ  Wa Lā Tattabi` 'Ahwā'ahum `Ammā Jā'aka Mina Al-Ĥaqqi  ۚ  Likullin Ja`alnā Minkum Shir`atan Wa Minhājāan  ۚ  Wa Law Shā'a Al-Lahu Laja`alakum 'Ummatan Wāĥidatan Wa Lakin Liyabluwakum Fī Mā 'Ātākum  ۖ  Fāstabiqū Al-Khayrāti  ۚ  'Ilá Al-Lahi Marji`ukum Jamī`āan Fayunabbi'ukum Bimā Kuntum Fīhi Takhtalifūna َ005-048 And We have revealed to you this perfect Book comprising the truth and wisdom, fulfilling (the prophecies of) the Scripture which was present before it and stands as a guardian over it, then judge between them according to that which Allâh has revealed (of the Qur´ân), and do not deviate from the truth that has come to you in order to follow their low desires. For each one of you did We prescribe a spiritual law and a well-defined way (- a code in secular matters). And if Allâh had so willed He might have made you all one community (by force), but He wishes to show your perfection (the capacities and capabilities) that He has endowed you with. Therefore vie one with another in (doing) good deeds. To Allâh is the return of you all, then He will inform you as to that wherein you were at variance. وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقا ً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمُهَيْمِناً عَلَيْهِ  ۖ  فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ  ۖ  وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ عَمَّا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ  ۚ  لِكُلّ ٍ جَعَلْنَا مِنْكُمْ شِرْعَة ً وَمِنْهَاجا ً  ۚ  وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّة ً وَاحِدَة ً وَلَكِنْ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ  ۖ  فَاسْتَبِقُوا الْخَيْرَاتِ  ۚ  إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعا ً فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيه ِِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
Wa 'Ani Aĥkum Baynahum Bimā 'Anzala Al-Lahu Wa Lā Tattabi` 'Ahwā'ahum Wa Aĥdharhum 'An Yaftinūka `An Ba`đi Mā 'Anzala Al-Lahu 'Ilayka  ۖ  Fa'in Tawallaw Fā`lam 'Annamā Yurīdu Al-Lahu 'An Yuşībahum Biba`đi Dhunūbihim  ۗ  Wa 'Inna Kathīrāan Mina An-Nāsi Lafāsiqūna َ005-049 And (We have revealed this perfect Book to you) that you judge between them according to that (law) which Allâh has revealed and do not follow their low desires, rather be on your guard against them lest they should (tempt you and) cause you fall into trouble due to some part of (the commandments) that Allâh has revealed to you. If they turn back (showing disregard to Our revelations), know that Allâh intends to punish them for some of their sins. Indeed, a large number of human beings are certainly disobedient. وَأَنِ احْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ أَنْ يَفْتِنُوكَ عَنْ بَعْضِ مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ  ۖ  فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُصِيبَهُمْ بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ  ۗ  وَإِنَّ كَثِيرا ً مِنَ النَّاسِ لَفَاسِقُونَ
'Afaĥukma Al-Jāhilīyati Yabghūna  ۚ  Wa Man 'Aĥsanu Mina Al-Lahi Ĥukmāan Liqawmin Yūqinūna َ005-050 Do they seek to enforce the law of (the days of) ignorance? And who is better than Allâh in giving judgment for a people who are convinced (of their faith)? أَفَحُكْمَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ  ۚ  وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ حُكْما ً لِقَوْم ٍ يُوقِنُونَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tattakhidhū Al-Yahūda Wa An-Naşārá 'Awliyā'a  ۘ  Ba`đuhum 'Awliyā'u Ba`đin  ۚ  Wa Man Yatawallahum Minkum Fa'innahu Minhum  ۗ  'Inna Al-Laha Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna َ005-051 O you who believe! do not take these Jews and the Christians for allies. They are allies of one to another (when against you), and whoso from amongst you takes them for allies, is indeed one of them. Verily, Allâh does not guide the unjust people to attain their goal. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى أَوْلِيَاءَ  ۘ  بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْض ٍ  ۚ  وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّهُمْ مِنْكُمْ فَإِنَّه ُُ مِنْهُمْ  ۗ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Fatará Al-Ladhīna Fī Qulūbihim Marađun Yusāri`ūna Fīhim Yaqūlūna Nakhshá 'An Tuşībanā Dā'iratun  ۚ  Fa`asá Al-Lahu 'An Ya'tiya Bil-Fatĥi 'Aw 'Amrin Min `Indihi Fayuşbiĥū `Alá Mā 'Asarrū Fī 'Anfusihim Nādimīna َ005-052 Now you shall see those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy) vying one with another towards them (- the Jews and Christians to take them for allies). They say, `We are afraid lest a misfortune should befall us.´ But it is well nigh that Allâh will bring about a victory or some other (more remarkable) event (in favour of Islam) from Himself; then they will become more remorseful (and ashamed) for what they secretly harboured in their minds. فَتَرَى الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَض ٌ يُسَارِعُونَ فِيهِم يَقُولُونَ نَخْشَى أَنْ تُصِيبَنَا دَائِرَة ٌ  ۚ  فَعَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ بِالْفَتْحِ أَوْ أَمْر ٍ مِنْ عِنْدِه ِِ فَيُصْبِحُوا عَلَى مَا أَسَرُّوا فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ نَادِمِينَ
Wa Yaqūlu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Ahā'uulā' Al-Ladhīna 'Aqsamū Bil-Lahi Jahda 'Aymānihim  ۙ  'Innahum Lama`akum  ۚ  Ĥabiţat 'A`māluhum Fa'aşbaĥū Khāsirīna َ005-053 And those who have believed will say (at that time), `Are these they who swore by Allâh their most solemn oaths that they were surely with you?´ Their deeds have gone waste (and their machination failed), so that they have become the losers. وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَهَاؤُلاَء الَّذِينَ أَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ  ۙ  إِنَّهُمْ لَمَعَكُمْ  ۚ  حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا خَاسِرِينَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Man Yartadda Minkum `An Dīnihi Fasawfa Ya'tī Al-Lahu Biqawmin Yuĥibbuhum Wa Yuĥibbūnahu 'Adhillatin `Alá Al-Mu'uminīna 'A`izzatin `Alá Al-Kāfirīna Yujāhidūna Fī Sabīli Al-Lahi Wa Lā Yakhāfūna Lawmata Lā'imin  ۚ  Dhālika Fađlu Al-Lahi Yu'utīhi Man Yashā'u Wa  ۚ  Allāhu Wāsi`un `Alīmun َ005-054 O you who believe! if anyone of you should renounce his Faith (let him remember that) Allâh will bring forth (in his stead) a people (more zealous in faith) whom He will love and who will love Him, who will be kind and humble towards the believers, and mighty and firm against the disbelievers. They will strive hard in the cause of Allâh and will not fear the reproach of any fault-finder. (Remember) these (virtues) are (to be attained through) Allâh´s bounty which He bestows upon whomsoever He will. And Allâh is Bountiful, All-Knowing. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَنْ يَرْتَدَّ مِنْكُمْ عَنْ دِينِه ِِ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللَّهُ بِقَوْم ٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُ~ُ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ يُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلاَ يَخَافُونَ لَوْمَةَ لاَئِم ٍ  ۚ  ذَلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيه ِِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ  ۚ  وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيم ٌ
'Innamā Wa Līyukumu Al-Lahu Wa Rasūluhu Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Al-Ladhīna Yuqīmūna Aş-Şalāata Wa Yu'utūna Az-Zakāata Wa Hum Rāki`ūna َ005-055 Your real ally is only Allâh, and His Messenger, and those who believe, who observe Prayer and present the Zakât, and they bow down (in obedience to Allâh). إِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُه ُُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلاَةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ رَاكِعُونَ
Wa Man Yatawalla Al-Laha Wa Rasūlahu Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Fa'inna Ĥizba Al-Lah َ005-056 And whoso takes for his allies Allâh and His Messenger and those who believe, (let him know that surely such a one is the party of Allâh) and it is the party of Allâh that is truly triumphant. وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَه ُُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فَإِنَّ حِزْبَ اللَّهِ هُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tattakhidhū Al-Ladhīna Attakhadhū Dīnakum Huzūan Wa La`ibāan Mina Al-Ladhīna 'Ū Al-Kitāba Min Qablikum Wa Al-Kuffāra 'Awliyā'a  ۚ  Wa Attaqū Al-Laha 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna َ005-057 O you who believe! do not make those who take your religion lightly and consider it worthless, from among those who were given the Scripture before you and the other infidels, your allies. And keep your duty to Allâh if you are (true) believers. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تَتَّخِذُوا الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا دِينَكُمْ هُزُوا ً وَلَعِبا ً مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَالْكُفَّارَ أَوْلِيَاءَ  ۚ  وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنْ كُنتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Wa 'Idhā Nādaytum 'Ilá Aş-Şalāati Attakhadhūhā Huzūan Wa La`ibāan  ۚ  Dhālika Bi'annahum Qawmun Lā Ya`qilūna َ005-058 And when you call (the people) to Prayer, they take it lightly and consider it worthless. They do so because they are a people who do not understand. وَإِذَا نَادَيْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ اتَّخَذُوهَا هُزُوا ً وَلَعِبا ً  ۚ  ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْم ٌ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Hal Tanqimūna Minnā 'Illā 'An 'Āmannā Bil-Lahi Wa Mā 'Unzila 'Ilaynā Wa Mā 'Unzila Min Qablu Wa 'Anna 'Aktharakum Fāsiqūna َ005-059 Say, `O People of the Scripture! do you find fault with us only because we believe in Allâh and in that which has been revealed to us, and in that which was revealed before (us)? Whereas most of you are disobedient (to God).´ قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ هَلْ تَنقِمُونَ مِنَّا إِلاَّ أَنْ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَأَنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ فَاسِقُونَ
Qul Hal 'Unabbi'ukum Bisharrin Min Dhālika Mathūbatan `Inda Al-Lahi  ۚ  Man La`anahu Al-Lahu Wa Ghađiba `Alayhi Wa Ja`ala Minhumu Al-Qiradata Wa Al-Khanāzīra Wa `Abada Aţ-Ţāghūta  ۚ  'Ūlā'ika Sharrun Makānāan Wa 'Ađallu `An Sawā'i As-Sabīli َ005-060 Say, `Shall I inform you of those who shall receive from Allâh a recompense worse than that of those (who try to find fault with Us)? They are those whom Allâh has deprived of His blessings and upon whom He brought His displeasure and indignation and of whom He has made (as) apes and swine and who serve the transgressor (- the devil). It is these who are indeed worse-placed and farther astray from the right path.´ قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِشَرّ ٍ مِنْ ذَلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِنْدَ اللَّهِ  ۚ  مَنْ لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ الْقِرَدَةَ وَالْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ الطَّاغُوتَ  ۚ  أُوْلَائِكَ شَرّ ٌ مَكَانا ً وَأَضَلُّ عَنْ سَوَاءِ السَّبِيلِ
Wa 'Idhā Jā'ūkum Qālū 'Āmannā Wa Qad Dakhalū Bil-Kufri Wa Hum Qad Kharajū Bihi Wa  ۚ  Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Kānū Yaktumūna َ005-061 And when they come to you they say, `We believe,´ while, infact, they enter without faith and go out without it. And Allâh knows best all they conceal. وَإِذَا جَاءُوكُمْ قَالُوا آمَنَّا وَقَدْ دَخَلُوا بِالْكُفْرِ وَهُمْ قَدْ خَرَجُوا بِه ِِ  ۚ  وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْتُمُونَ
Wa Tará Kathīrāan Minhum Yusāri`ūna Fī Al-'Ithmi Wa Al-`Udwāni Wa 'Aklihimu As-Suĥta  ۚ  Labi'sa Mā Kānū Ya`malūna َ005-062 And you will find many of them vying one with another in committing sin and transgression and being too much given to eat things forbidden. How evil is that which they practise! وَتَرَى كَثِيرا ً مِنْهُمْ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ  ۚ  لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Lawlā Yanhāhumu Ar-Rabbānīyūna Wa Al-'Aĥbāru `An Qawlihimu Al-'Ithma Wa 'Aklihimu As-Suĥta  ۚ  Labi'sa Mā Kānū Yaşna`ūna َ005-063 Why do not the teachers of divine knowledge and those learned in the Law prohibit them from their blasphemic talk and deeds and their being too much given to eating things forbidden? Evil indeed is their machination. لَوْلاَ يَنْهَاهُمُ الرَّبَّانِيُّونَ وَالأَحْبَارُ عَنْ قَوْلِهِمُ الإِثْمَ وَأَكْلِهِمُ السُّحْتَ  ۚ  لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ
Wa Qālati Al-Yahūdu Yadu Al-Lahi Maghlūlatun  ۚ  Ghullat 'Aydīhim Wa Lu`inū Bimā Qālū  ۘ  Bal Yadāhu Mabsūţatāni Yunfiqu Kayfa Yashā'u  ۚ  Wa Layazīdanna Kathīrāan Minhum Mā 'Unzila 'Ilayka Min Rabbika Ţughyānāan Wa Kufrāan  ۚ  Wa 'Alqaynā Baynahumu Al-`Adāwata Wa Al-Baghđā'a 'Ilá Yawmi Al-Qiyāmati  ۚ  Kullamā 'Awqadū Nārāan Lilĥarbi 'Aţfa'ahā Al-Lahu  ۚ  Wa Yas`awna Fī Al-'Arđi Fasādāan Wa  ۚ  Allāhu Lā Yuĥibbu Al-Mufsidīna َ005-064 And the Jews said, `Allâh´s hand is fettered (from assisting the helpless Muslims).´ Fettered are their own hands (from assisting the enemies of Islam), and they are deprived of blessings of Allâh for what they said. Nay, (the truth of the matter is that) both His hands are wide open (and free). He spends as He pleases. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will most surely increase many of them in inordinate rebellion and in disbelief. And We have kindled enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindle a fire for war, Allâh puts it out, but they strive to create disorder in the land, whereas Allâh does not like the creators of disorder. وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ يَدُ اللَّهِ مَغْلُولَةٌ  ۚ  غُلَّتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَلُعِنُوا بِمَا قَالُوا  ۘ  بَلْ يَدَاه ُُ مَبْسُوطَتَانِ يُنفِقُ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ  ۚ  وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرا ً مِنْهُمْ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ طُغْيَانا ً وَكُفْرا ً  ۚ  وَأَلْقَيْنَا بَيْنَهُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ  ۚ  كُلَّمَا أَوْقَدُوا نَارا ً لِلْحَرْبِ أَطْفَأَهَا اللَّهُ  ۚ  وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ فَسَادا ً  ۚ  وَاللَّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
Wa Law 'Anna 'Ahla Al-Kitābi 'Āmanū Wa Attaqaw Lakaffarnā `Anhum Sayyi'ātihim Wa La'adkhalnāhum Jannāti An-Na`īmi َ005-065 And if the people of the Scripture had only believed and guarded against evil, We would surely have absolved them of their sins and We would surely make them enter Gardens of bliss. وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ آمَنُوا وَاتَّقَوْا لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَاهُمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
Wa Law 'Annahum 'Aqāmū At-Tawrāata Wa Al-'Injīla Wa Mā 'Unzila 'Ilayhim Min Rabbihim La'akalū Min Fawqihim Wa Min Taĥti 'Arjulihim  ۚ  Minhum 'Ummatun Muqtaşidatun  ۖ  Wa Kathīrun Minhum Sā'a Mā Ya`malūna َ005-066 If they had only observed the Torah and the Evangel and that which has been revealed to them (now) from their Lord, they would surely have eaten (of good things) from above them and from under their feet, (thus would have enjoyed the boons of the heaven and the earth). Though there is amongst them a community who is moderate (and of balanced mind), yet a large number of them are such that evil are their deeds. وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ أَقَامُوا التَّوْرَاةَ وَالإِنجِيلَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ لَأَكَلُوا مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِنْ تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمْ  ۚ  مِنْهُمْ أُمَّة ٌ مُقْتَصِدَة ٌ  ۖ  وَكَثِير ٌ مِنْهُمْ سَاءَ مَا يَعْمَلُونَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Ar-Rasūlu Balligh Mā 'Unzila 'Ilayka Min Rabbika  ۖ  Wa 'In Lam Taf`al Famā Ballaghta Risālatahu Wa  ۚ  Allāhu Ya`şimuka Mina An-Nāsi  ۗ  'Inna Al-Laha Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Al-Kāfirīna َ005-067 O Messenger! convey (to the people the entire message) well that has been revealed to you from your Lord; and if you do it not, you have not (at all) conveyed His message as it ought to have been. And Allâh will protect you from all (the onslaughts of) people (on your life). Verily, Allâh will not let the disbelieving people have their way. يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ بَلِّغْ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ  ۖ  وَإِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَه ُُ  ۚ  وَاللَّهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ النَّاسِ  ۗ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lastum `Alá Shay'in Ĥattá Tuqīmū At-Tawrāata Wa Al-'Injīla Wa Mā 'Unzila 'Ilaykum Min Rabbikum  ۗ  Wa Layazīdanna Kathīrāan Minhum Mā 'Unzila 'Ilayka Min Rabbika Ţughyānāan Wa Kufrāan  ۖ  Falā Ta'sa `Alá Al-Qawmi Al-Kāfirīna َ005-068 Say, `O People of the Scripture! you stand no where unless you observe the Torah and the Evangel and that (- Qur´ân) which has (now) been revealed to you from your Lord.´ And certainly that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will increase many of them in ordinate rebellion and disbelief; so do not grieve for the disbelieving people. قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَسْتُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ حَتَّى تُقِيمُوا التَّوْرَاةَ وَالإِنجِيلَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ  ۗ  وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرا ً مِنْهُمْ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ طُغْيَانا ً وَكُفْرا ً  ۖ  فَلاَ تَأْسَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Al-Ladhīna Hādū Wa Aş-Şābi'ūna Wa An-Naşārá Man 'Āmana Bil-Lahi Wa Al-Yawmi Al-'Ākhiri Wa `Amila Şāliĥāan Falā Khawfun `Alayhim Wa Lā Hum Yaĥzanūna َ005-069 Verily, those who have believed and those who judaised and the Sabians and the Christians, whosoever believes in Allâh and the Last Day and does righteous deeds, they shall have no cause of fear nor shall they ever grieve. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالصَّابِئُونَ وَالنَّصَارَى مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحا ً فَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
Laqad 'Akhadhnā Mīthāqa Banī 'Isrā'īla Wa 'Arsalnā 'Ilayhim Rusulāan  ۖ  Kullamā Jā'ahum Rasūlun Bimā Lā Tahwá 'Anfusuhum Farīqāan Kadhdhabū Wa Farīqāan Yaqtulūna َ005-070 Surely, We took a covenant from the Children of Israel and We sent Messengers to them. Every time there came to them a Messenger with that (Message) which did not suit their fanciful desires, (they defied him so that) some they treated as liars and others they sought to kill. لَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ رُسُلا ً  ۖ  كُلَّمَا جَاءَهُمْ رَسُول ٌ بِمَا لاَ تَهْوَى أَنفُسُهُمْ فَرِيقا ً كَذَّبُوا وَفَرِيقا ً يَقْتُلُونَ
Wa Ĥasibū 'Allā Takūna Fitnatun Fa`amū Wa Şammū Thumma Tāba Al-Lahu `Alayhim Thumma `Amū Wa Şammū Kathīrun Minhum Wa  ۚ  Allāhu Başīrun Bimā Ya`malūna َ005-071 And they thought there would be no punishment (for them) so they willfully became blind and deaf; (then they sought Allâh´s pardon) then Allâh turned to them (with mercy with the advent of Jesus), yet again many of them became blind and deaf. And Allâh is Watchful of what they do. وَحَسِبُوا أَلاَّ تَكُونَ فِتْنَة ٌ فَعَمُوا وَصَمُّوا ثُمَّ تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُوا وَصَمُّوا كَثِير ٌ مِنْهُمْ  ۚ  وَاللَّهُ بَصِير ٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ
Laqad Kafara Al-Ladhīna Qālū 'Inna Al-Laha Huwa Al-Masīĥu Abnu Maryama  ۖ  Wa Qāla Al-Masīĥu Yā Banī 'Isrā'īla A`budū Al-Laha Rabbī Wa Rabbakum  ۖ  'Innahu Man Yushrik Bil-Lahi Faqad Ĥarrama Al-Lahu `Alayhi Al-Jannata Wa Ma'wāhu An-Nāru  ۖ  Wa Mā Lilžžālimīna Min 'Anşārin َ005-072 Indeed, they have disbelieved who say, `Allâh - He is the Messiah, son of Mary,´ whereas the Messiah (himself) said, `O Children of Israel, worship Allâh Who is my Lord and your Lord.´ Surely whoso associates partners with Allâh, him has Allâh forbidden Paradise, and his resort will be the Fire and these transgressors shall have no helpers. لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ  ۖ  وَقَالَ الْمَسِيحُ يَابَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ إِنَّه ُُ  ۖ  مَنْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَأْوَاهُ النَّارُ وَمَا  ۖ  لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَار ٍ
Laqad Kafara Al-Ladhīna Qālū 'Inna Al-Laha Thālithu Thalāthatin  ۘ  Wa Mā Min 'Ilahin 'Illā 'Ilahun Wāĥidun  ۚ  Wa 'In Lam Yantahū `Ammā Yaqūlūna Layamassanna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Minhum `Adhābun 'Alīmun َ005-073 Most certainly, they have disbelieved who say, `Allâh is the third of the three.´ But infact there is no other, cannot be and will never be One worthy of worship except One God. And if they refrain not from what they say, there shall certainly befall those who disbelieve from among them, a grievous punishment. لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلاَثَة ٍ  ۘ  وَمَا مِنْ إِلَهٍ~ ٍ إِلاَّ إِلَه ٌ ٌ وَاحِد ٌ  ۚ  وَإِنْ لَمْ يَنتَهُوا عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ لَيَمَسَّنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيم ٌ
'Afalā Yatūbūna 'Ilá Al-Lahi Wa Yastaghfirūnahu Wa  ۚ  Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun َ005-074 Will they not turn with repentance to Allâh and seek His protection, while Allâh is Great Protector, Ever Merciful? أَفَلاَ يَتُوبُونَ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَه ُُ  ۚ  وَاللَّهُ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
Al-Masīĥu Abnu Maryama 'Illā Rasūlun Qad Khalat Min Qablihi Ar-Rusulu Wa 'Ummuhu Şiddīqatun  ۖ  Kānā Ya'kulāni Aţ-Ţa`āma  ۗ  Anžur Kayfa Nubayyinu Lahumu Al-'Āyāti Thumma Anžur 'Anná Yu'ufakūna َ005-075 The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger, all the Messengers have (like him) passed away before him, his mother was a highly truthful woman. They both used to eat food. See how We explain the arguments for their good, yet see, how they are turned away (from the truth). مَا الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ إِلاَّ رَسُول ٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ وَأُمُّه ُُ صِدِّيقَة ٌ  ۖ  كَانَا يَأْكُلاَنِ الطَّعَامَ  ۗ  انظُرْ كَيْفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ الآيَاتِ ثُمَّ انظُرْ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ
Qul 'Ata`budūna Min Dūni Al-Lahi Mā Lā Yamliku Lakum Đarrāan Wa Lā Naf`āan Wa  ۚ  Allāhu Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu َ005-076 Say, `Do you worship beside Allâh that which has no power over doing you any harm or good?´ As for Allâh, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. قُلْ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لاَ يَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرّا ً وَلاَ نَفْعا ً  ۚ  وَاللَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lā Taghlū Fī Dīnikum Ghayra Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Lā Tattabi`ū 'Ahwā'a Qawmin Qad Đallū Min Qablu Wa 'Ađallū Kathīrāan Wa Đallū `An Sawā'i As-Sabīli َ005-077 Say, `O People of the Scripture! do not exaggerate in (the matter of) your religion falsely and unjustly, nor follow the fancies of a people who had gone astray before (you) and had led many astray, and (now again) who have strayed away from the right path. قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لاَ تَغْلُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُوا أَهْوَاءَ قَوْم ٍ قَدْ ضَلُّوا مِنْ قَبْلُ وَأَضَلُّوا كَثِيرا ً وَضَلُّوا عَنْ سَوَاءِ السَّبِيلِ
Lu`ina Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Min Banī 'Isrā'īla `Alá Lisāni Dāwūda Wa `Īsá Abni Maryama  ۚ  Dhālika Bimā `Aşaw Wa Kānū Ya`tadūna َ005-078 Those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel were deprived of the blessings of God (firstly) by the tongue of David and (then by) Jesus, son of Mary. That was so because they rebelled and used to transgress. لُعِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى لِسَانِ دَاوُودَ وَعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ  ۚ  ذَلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَكَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَ
Kānū Lā Yatanāhawna `An Munkarin Fa`alūhu  ۚ  Labi'sa Mā Kānū Yaf`alūna َ005-079 They did not prohibit one another from hateful things they committed. How evil were the practices they used to follow! كَانُوا لاَ يَتَنَاهَوْنَ عَنْ مُنكَر ٍ فَعَلُوه ُُ  ۚ  لَبِئْسَ مَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ
Tará Kathīrāan Minhum Yatawallawna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū  ۚ  Labi'sa Mā Qaddamat Lahum 'Anfusuhum 'An Sakhiţa Al-Lahu `Alayhim Wa Fī Al-`Adhābi Hum Khālidūna َ005-080 You will find many of them allying (themselves) with those who disbelieve. Evil is that which they have sent forward for themselves (to the effect) that Allâh is displeased with them and in this punishment they shall abide. تَرَى كَثِيرا ً مِنْهُمْ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا  ۚ  لَبِئْسَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لَهُمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ أَنْ سَخِطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَفِي الْعَذَابِ هُمْ خَالِدُونَ
Wa Law Kānū Yu'uminūna Bil-Lahi Wa An-Nabīyi Wa Mā 'Unzila 'Ilayhi Mā Attakhadhūhum 'Awliyā'a Wa Lakinna Kathīrāan Minhum Fāsiqūna َ005-081 And if they had believed in Allâh and this perfect Prophet and (in) what has been revealed to him, they would not have taken them for allies; but (they do so for) many of them are disobedient. وَلَوْ كَانُوا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالنَّبِيِّ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَا اتَّخَذُوهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَلَكِنَّ كَثِيرا ً مِنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ
Latajidanna 'Ashadda An-Nāsi `Adāwatan Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Al-Yahūda Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Ashrakū  ۖ  Wa Latajidanna 'Aqrabahum Mawaddatan Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Al-Ladhīna Qālū 'Innā Naşārá  ۚ  Dhālika Bi'anna Minhum Qissīsīna Wa Ruhbānāan Wa 'Annahum Lā Yastakbirūna َ005-082 You shall certainly find the Jews and those who associate partners with Allâh the most vehement of the people in enmity against those who believe, and you shall certainly find those who say, `We are Christians,´ the nearest in friendship towards those who believe. That is so because there are savants and monks amongst them and because they are not haughty. لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَة ً لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا  ۖ  وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُمْ مَوَدَّة ً لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّا نَصَارَى  ۚ  ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانا ً وَأَنَّهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
Wa 'Idhā Sami`ū Mā 'Unzila 'Ilá Ar-Rasūli Tará 'A`yunahum Tafīđu Mina Ad-Dam`i Mimmā `Arafū Mina Al-Ĥaqqi  ۖ  Yaqūlūna Rabbanā 'Āmannā Fāktubnā Ma`a Ash-Shāhidīna َ005-083 And when they hear that (Divine Message) which has been revealed to this perfect Messenger you will find their eyes over flow with tears because of the truth they have recognised. They say, `Our Lord! we believe, so count us among the witnesses (to the truth).´ وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ تَرَى أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُوا مِنَ الْحَقِّ  ۖ  يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Wa Mā Lanā Lā Nu'uminu Bil-Lahi Wa Mā Jā'anā Mina Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Naţma`u 'An Yudkhilanā Rabbunā Ma`a Al-Qawmi Aş-Şāliĥīna َ005-084 (They add,) `What excuse do we have to disbelieve in Allâh and (in) the truth that has come to us while we earnestly desire that our Lord should count us with the righteous people?´ وَمَا لَنَا لاَ نُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَمَا جَاءَنَا مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَنَطْمَعُ أَنْ يُدْخِلَنَا رَبُّنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الصَّالِحِينَ
Fa'athābahumu Al-Lahu Bimā Qālū Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā  ۚ  Wa Dhalika Jazā'u Al-Muĥsinīna َ005-085 Therefore Allâh will reward them for what they said, with Gardens served with running streams, they shall abide therein for ever. Such indeed is the reward of the doers of good to others. فَأَثَابَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِمَا قَالُوا جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا  ۚ  وَذَلِكَ جَزَاءُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu Al-Jaĥīmi َ005-086 But those who have disbelieved and cried lies to Our Messages, it is these who are the fellows of the blazing Fire. وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَائِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tuĥarrimū Ţayyibāti Mā 'Aĥalla Al-Lahu Lakum Wa Lā Ta`tadū  ۚ  'Inna Al-Laha Lā Yuĥibbu Al-Mu`tadīna َ005-087 O You who believe! do not forbid yourselves good and pure things which Allâh has made lawful for you, and do not transgress. Verily, Allâh does not like the transgressors.. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تُحَرِّمُوا طَيِّبَاتِ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلاَ تَعْتَدُوا  ۚ  إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ
Wa Kulū Mimmā Razaqakumu Al-Lahu Ĥalālāan Ţayyibāan  ۚ  Wa Attaqū Al-Laha Al-Ladhī 'Antum Bihi Mu'uminūna َ005-088 And eat of what Allâh has provided you of (things) lawful, good and pure. And take Allâh as a shield, in whom you repose your faith. وَكُلُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ حَلالا ً طَيِّبا ً  ۚ  وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي أَنْتُمْ بِه ِِ مُؤْمِنُونَ
Lā Yu'uākhidhukumu Al-Lahu Bil-Laghwi Fī 'Aymānikum Wa Lakin Yu'uākhidhukum Bimā `Aqqadtumu Al-'Īmāna  ۖ  Fakaffāratuhu 'Iţ`āmu `Asharati Masākīna Min 'Awsaţi Mā Tuţ`imūna 'Ahlīkum 'Aw Kiswatuhum 'Aw Taĥrīru Raqabatin  ۖ  Faman Lam Yajid Faşiyāmu Thalāthati 'Ayyāmin  ۚ  Dhālika Kaffāratu 'Aymānikum 'Idhā Ĥalaftum  ۚ  Wa Aĥfažū 'Aymānakum  ۚ  Kadhālika Yubayyinu Al-Lahu Lakum 'Āyātihi La`allakum Tashkurūna َ005-089 Allâh will not call you to account for (such of) your oaths as are vain, but He will call you to account for (breaking) the oaths which you take in earnest (for doing a thing or not doing). The expiation for breaking such an oath is the feeding of ten needy persons (the average food) as you feed your own families with, or provide them with clothes, or liberating of some one (from the yoke of slavery or debt etc.) But whoever does not find (the means to do any of these), then he shall fast for three days. That is how you expiate your oaths when you have sworn them solemnly (and then break them). But do guard your oaths. Thus does Allâh explain to you His commandments so that you may give (Him) thanks. لاَ يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللَّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ وَلَكِنْ يُؤَاخِذُكُمْ بِمَا عَقَّدْتُمُ الإِيْمَانَ  ۖ  فَكَفَّارَتُهُ~ُ إِطْعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسَاكِينَ مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُونَ أَهْلِيكُمْ أَوْ كِسْوَتُهُمْ أَوْ تَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَة ٍ  ۖ  فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّام ٍ  ۚ  ذَلِكَ كَفَّارَةُ أَيْمَانِكُمْ إِذَا حَلَفْتُمْ  ۚ  وَاحْفَظُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ  ۚ  كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِه ِِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Innamā Al-Khamru Wa Al-Maysiru Wa Al-'Anşābu Wa Al-'Azlāmu Rijsun Min `Amali Ash-Shayţāni Fājtanibūhu La`allakum Tufliĥūna َ005-090 O you who believe! intoxicants and games of chance, and alters set up for false deities and divining arrows are only abominations, some of satan´s handiworks, therefore shun each one (of these abominations) so that you may attain your goal. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالأَنصَابُ وَالأَزْلاَمُ رِجْس ٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاجْتَنِبُوه ُُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
'Innamā Yurīdu Ash-Shayţānu 'An Yūqi`a Baynakumu Al-`Adāwata Wa Al-Baghđā'a Fī Al-Khamri Wa Al-Maysiri Wa Yaşuddakum `An Dhikri Al-Lahi Wa `Ani Aş-Şalāati  ۖ  Fahal 'Antum Muntahūna َ005-091 Satan only intends to precipitate enmity and hatred between you by means of intoxicants and games of chance and to stop you from the remembrance of Allâh and from (observing your) Prayer. Will you not then be the abstainer (therefrom)? إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنْ يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ فِي الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَعَنِ الصَّلاَةِ  ۖ  فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُنتَهُونَ
Wa 'Aţī`ū Al-Laha Wa 'Aţī`ū Ar-Rasūla Wa Aĥdharū  ۚ  Fa'in Tawallaytum Fā`lamū 'Annamā `Alá Rasūlinā Al-Balāghu Al-Mubīnu َ005-092 Obey Allâh and obey this perfect Messenger and be on your guard (against disobeying them), but if you turn away, then bear in mind that Our Messenger is responsible only for the conveyance (of the Message) in clear terms. وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَاحْذَرُوا  ۚ  فَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا عَلَى رَسُولِنَا الْبَلاَغُ الْمُبِينُ
Laysa `Alá Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Junāĥun Fīmā Ţa`imū 'Idhā Mā Attaqaw Wa 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Thumma Attaqaw Wa 'Āmanū Thumma Attaqaw Wa 'Aĥsanū Wa  ۗ  Allāhu Yuĥibbu Al-Muĥsinīna َ005-093 There is no blame on those who believe and do deeds of righteousness for what they have eaten (before the prohibition came), provided they guard against (prohibited things in future) and are steadfast in their faith, and do deeds of righteousness and provided they guard against evil (as a duty to themselves); and provided further that they take (God) as a shield, and do good to others (as their duty to their fellow-beings). And Allâh loves the doers of good to others. لَيْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جُنَاح ٌ فِيمَا طَعِمُوا إِذَا مَا اتَّقَوْا وَآمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ ثُمَّ اتَّقَوْا وَآمَنُوا ثُمَّ اتَّقَوْا وَأَحْسَنُوا  ۗ  وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Layabluwannakumu Al-Lahu Bishay'in Mina Aş-Şaydi Tanāluhu 'Aydīkum Wa Rimāĥukum Liya`lama Al-Lahu Man Yakhāfuhu Bil-Ghaybi  ۚ  Famani A`tadá Ba`da Dhālika Falahu `Adhābun 'Alīmun َ005-094 O You who believe! Allâh is going to try you regarding something of the game which is within the reach of your hands and your lances. Allâh will do it so that He may distinguish those who stand in awe of Allâh even unseen. But he that transgresses even after that (warning) shall receive a grievous punishment. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَيَبْلُوَنَّكُمُ اللَّهُ بِشَيْء ٍ مِنَ الصَّيْدِ تَنَالُهُ~ُ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَرِمَاحُكُمْ لِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَخَافُه ُُ بِالْغَيْبِ  ۚ  فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَلَه ُُ عَذَابٌ أَلِيم ٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Taqtulū Aş-Şayda Wa 'Antum Ĥurumun  ۚ  Wa Man Qatalahu Minkum Muta`ammidāan Fajazā'un Mithlu Mā Qatala Mina An-Na`ami Yaĥkumu Bihi Dhawā `Adlin Minkum Hadyāan Bāligha Al-Ka`bati 'Aw Kaffāratun Ţa`āmu Masākīna 'Aw `Adlu Dhālika Şiyāmāan Liyadhūqa Wabāla 'Amrihi  ۗ  `Afā Al-Lahu `Ammā Salafa  ۚ  Wa Man `Āda Fayantaqimu Al-Lahu Minhu Wa  ۗ  Allāhu `Azīzun Dhū Antiqāmin َ005-095 O you who believe! kill no game while you are in a pilgrim´s garb or in the Sacred Precincts. And whosoever amongst you kills it intentionally he shall recompense by sacrificing a domestic cattle, the like of the animal he has killed, the same to be determined by two just persons from among you, and (the same) to be brought as an offering to the Ka´bah, or the expiation (of his sin) is the feeding of a number of needy persons, or the equivalent in fasting, so that he may suffer the penalty of his deed. Allâh has pardoned whatever might have happened in the past, and whoso does it again Allâh will punish him (for his offence), for Mighty is Allâh, Lord of retribution. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تَقْتُلُوا الصَّيْدَ وَأَنْتُمْ حُرُم ٌ  ۚ  وَمَنْ قَتَلَه ُُ مِنْكُمْ مُتَعَمِّدا ً فَجَزَاء ٌ مِثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ النَّعَمِ يَحْكُمُ بِه ِِ ذَوَا عَدْل ٍ مِنْكُمْ هَدْيا ً بَالِغَ الْكَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّارَة ٌ طَعَامُ مَسَاكِينَ أَوْ عَدْلُ ذَلِكَ صِيَاما ً لِيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمْرِه ِِ  ۗ  عَفَا اللَّهُ عَمَّا سَلَفَ  ۚ  وَمَنْ عَادَ فَيَنتَقِمُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ  ۗ  وَاللَّهُ عَزِيز ٌ ذُو انتِقَام ٍ
'Uĥilla Lakum Şaydu Al-Baĥri Wa Ţa`āmuhu Matā`āan Lakum Wa Lilssayyārati  ۖ  Wa Ĥurrima `Alaykum Şaydu Al-Barri Mā Dumtum Ĥurumāan  ۗ  Wa Attaqū Al-Laha Al-Ladhī 'Ilayhi Tuĥsharūna َ005-096 It is made lawful for you (even when you are in a Pilgrim´s garb to hunt) the game of the sea (and water) and to eat its food; a provision for you and for the travellers (who can make it a provision for their way), but unlawful for you is the game of the land as long as you are in Pilgrim´s garb or in the Sacred Precincts. Keep your duty to Allâh, to Whom you shall be gathered. أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُه ُُ مَتَاعا ً لَكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ  ۖ  وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُما ً  ۗ  وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
Ja`ala Al-Lahu Al-Ka`bata Al-Bayta Al-Ĥarāma Qiyāmāan Lilnnāsi Wa Ash-Shahra Al-Ĥarāma Wa Al-Hadya Wa Al-Qalā'ida  ۚ  Dhālika Lita`lamū 'Anna Al-Laha Ya`lamu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa 'Anna Al-Laha Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun َ005-097 Allâh has made the Ka´bah, the Holy House (at Makkah) to serve as an anchor (-a means of support) and a means of uplifting for mankind, and also( each) sacred month and animals brought as an offering and animals wearing necklaces (meant for sacrifice during the Hajj). He has done this that you may know that Allâh knows all that lies in the heavens and all that lies in the earth, and that Allâh has complete knowledge of all things. جَعَلَ اللَّهُ الْكَعْبَةَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ قِيَاما ً لِلنَّاسِ وَالشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ وَالْهَدْيَ وَالْقَلاَئِدَ  ۚ  ذَلِكَ لِتَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيم ٌ
A`lamū 'Anna Al-Laha Shadīdu Al-`Iqābi Wa 'Anna Al-Laha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun َ005-098 You should know that Allâh is Severe at retribution and that (at the same time) Allâh is Great Protector, Ever Merciful. اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
Mā `Alá Ar-Rasūli 'Illā Al-Balāghu Wa  ۗ  Allāhu Ya`lamu Mā Tubdūna Wa Mā Taktumūna َ005-099 This perfect Messenger is responsible only for the conveyance (of the Message). And Allâh knows all that you reveal and all that you conceal. مَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلاَّ الْبَلاَغُ  ۗ  وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا تَكْتُمُونَ
Qul Lā Yastawī Al-Khabīthu Wa Aţ-Ţayyibu Wa Law 'A`jabaka Kathratu Al-Khabīthi Fa  ۚ  Attaqū Al-Laha Yā 'Ū Al-'Albābi La`allakum Tufliĥūna َ005-100 Say, `The bad and impure, and the good and pure are not alike even though the abundance of the bad and impure may charm you.´ Take Allâh, therefore, as a shield (seeking refuge in Him), O you people of pure and clear understanding! so that you may attain the goal. قُلْ لاَ يَسْتَوِي الْخَبِيثُ وَالطَّيِّبُ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ الْخَبِيثِ  ۚ  فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَا أُولِي الأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tas'alū `An 'Ashyā'a 'In Tubda Lakum Tasu'ukum Wa 'In Tas'alū `Anhā Ĥīna Yunazzalu Al-Qur'ānu Tubda Lakum `Afā Al-Lahu `Anhā Wa  ۗ  Allāhu Ghafūrun Ĥalīmun َ005-101 O You who believe! do not inquire into (the details of Divine Laws on many) things which, if explained to you, would cause you trouble, though if you ask about them while the Qur´ân is being revealed, they will be explained to you; (yet) Allâh has passed over this (detailed mentioning on purpose), for Allâh is Great Protector, Ever Forbearing. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تَسْأَلُوا عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ إِنْ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ وَإِنْ تَسْأَلُوا عَنْهَا حِينَ يُنَزَّلُ الْقُرْآنُ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ عَفَا اللَّهُ عَنْهَا  ۗ  وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيم ٌ
Qad Sa'alahā Qawmun Min Qablikum Thumma 'Aşbaĥū Bihā Kāfirīna َ005-102 A people before you asked questions about such (details and) then they became disbelievers therein. قَدْ سَأَلَهَا قَوْم ٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحُوا بِهَا كَافِرِينَ
Mā Ja`ala Al-Lahu Min Baĥīratin Wa Lā Sā'ibatin Wa Lā Waşīlatin Wa Lā Ĥāmin  ۙ  Wa Lakinna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yaftarūna `Alá Al-Lahi Al-Kadhiba  ۖ  Wa 'Aktharuhum Lā Ya`qilūna َ005-103 Allâh has not instituted (superstition like those of) any Bahîrah (-an animal having her ear slit and let loose for free pasture, dedicated to some god, their milk was not used, nor their back, nor their meat); or Sâ´ibah (-an animal having given birth to ten females, liberated to pasture where she would, not be ridden, nor milk drunk except by her young); or Wasîlah (-an animal which gave birth to seven females consecutively and at the seventh birth she bore a pair male and female. Each of the latter was let loose and the milk of the animal drunk by men only and not by women;) or Hâmi (-an animal that is left at liberty without being made use of in any way whatsover). But those who disbelieve have fabricated a lie (by such superstitious dedications) in the name of Allâh. Most of them cannot refrain (from such polytheistic superstitions). مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ مِنْ بَحِيرَة ٍ وَلاَ سَائِبَة ٍ وَلاَ وَصِيلَة ٍ وَلاَ حَام ٍ  ۙ  وَلَكِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ  ۖ  وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ
Wa 'Idhā Qīla Lahum Ta`ālaw 'Ilá Mā 'Anzala Al-Lahu Wa 'Ilá Ar-Rasūli Qālū Ĥasbunā Mā Wajadnā `Alayhi 'Ābā'anā  ۚ  'Awalaw Kāna 'Ābā'uuhum Lā Ya`lamūna Shay'āan Wa Lā Yahtadūna َ005-104 And when it is said to them, `Come to what Allâh has revealed and to this perfect Messenger.´ They say, `Sufficient for us is that (tradition) whereon we have found our forefathers.´ What! (would they follow them blindly) even though their forefathers had no knowledge whatsoever and had no guidance? وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا إِلَى مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُوا حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا  ۚ  أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئا ً وَلاَ يَهْتَدُونَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū `Alaykum 'Anfusakum  ۖ  Lā Yađurrukum Man Đalla 'Idhā Ahtadaytum  ۚ  'Ilá Al-Lahi Marji`ukum Jamī`āan Fayunabbi'ukum Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna َ005-105 O you who believe! (take care of yourselves for) upon you is the responsibility of your ownselves. He who has gone astray can do you no harm provided you are rightly guided. Towards Allâh is the final return of you all, then will He inform you as to what you have been doing. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ  ۖ  لاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ مَنْ ضَلَّ إِذَا اهْتَدَيْتُمْ  ۚ  إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعا ً فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Shahādatu Baynikum 'Idhā Ĥađara 'Aĥadakumu Al-Mawtu Ĥīna Al-Waşīyati Athnāni Dhawā `Adlin Minkum 'Aw 'Ākharāni Min Ghayrikum 'In 'Antum Đarabtum Al-'Arđi Fa'aşābatkum Muşībatu Al-Mawti  ۚ  Taĥbisūnahumā Min Ba`di Aş-Şalāati Fayuqsimāni Bil-Lahi 'Ini Artabtum Lā Nashtarī Bihi Thamanāan Wa Law Kāna Dhā Qurbá  ۙ  Wa Lā Naktumu Shahādata Al-Lahi 'Innā 'Idhāan Lamina Al-'Āthimīna َ005-106 O you who believe! when death comes to one of you (and you wish to make your will) let there be present among you, at the time of making the will, two just persons from among you or two others from among the outsiders, in case you are journeying in the country and the calamity of death overtakes you. In case you doubt (their honesty in giving evidence), you shall detain both (the witnesses) after Prayer, then let them both swear by Allâh (and bear witness) saying, `We will accept for this (-our oath) no price; (we will bear true evidence) even though he (in whose favour or against we bear evidence) be near of kin, nor will we hide the testimony (enjoined to be borne uprightly) by Allâh, for if we do so, we shall certainly be among the sinners.´ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا شَهَادَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ حِينَ الْوَصِيَّةِ اثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْل ٍ مِنْكُمْ أَوْ آخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنْتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ فَأَصَابَتْكُمْ مُصِيبَةُ الْمَوْتِ  ۚ  تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا مِنْ بَعْدِ الصَّلاَةِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللَّهِ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ لاَ نَشْتَرِي بِه ِِ ثَمَنا ً وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى  ۙ  وَلاَ نَكْتُمُ شَهَادَةَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا إِذا ً لَمِنَ الآثِمِينَ
Fa'in `Uthira `Alá 'Annahumā Astaĥaqqā 'Ithmāan Fa'ākharāni Yaqūmāni Maqāmahumā Mina Al-Ladhīna Astaĥaqqa `Alayhimu Al-'Awlayāni Fayuqsimāni Bil-Lahi Lashahādatunā 'Aĥaqqu Min Shahādatihimā Wa Mā A`tadaynā 'Innā 'Idhāan Lamina Až-Žālimīna َ005-107 But if it be discovered that these two have become guilty of sin, then let two others stand in their place from among those (heirs) against whom the (former) two (witnesses) who were in a better position (to give true evidence) are sinfully deposed, and the two (latter witnesses) swear by Allâh (saying), `Surely, our testimony is truer than the testimony of those two and we have not exceeded the bounds of justice (in bearing the evidence) for, in that case, we shall certainly be of the wrongdoers.´ فَإِنْ عُثِرَ عَلَى أَنَّهُمَا اسْتَحَقَّا إِثْما ً فَآخَرَانِ يَقُومَانِ مَقَامَهُمَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الأَوْلَيَانِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللَّهِ لَشَهَادَتُنَا أَحَقُّ مِنْ شَهَادَتِهِمَا وَمَا اعْتَدَيْنَا إِنَّا إِذا ً لَمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Dhālika 'Adná 'An Ya'tū Bish-Shahādati `Alá Wajhihā 'Aw Yakhāfū 'An Turadda 'Aymānun Ba`da 'Aymānihim Wa Attaqū  ۗ  Al-Laha Wa Asma`ū Wa Allāhu  ۗ  Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Al-Fāsiqīna َ005-108 This way is more likely to ensure that they (-the witnesses) will give the testimony in its true form and nature or atleast they will be afraid that other oaths will be taken after their oaths (to counter them). Therefore take Allâh as a shield and listen (to Him) for Allâh guides not the disobedient people to the way of success. ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَنْ يَأْتُوا بِالشَّهَادَةِ عَلَى وَجْهِهَا أَوْ يَخَافُوا أَنْ تُرَدَّ أَيْمَان ٌ بَعْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ  ۗ  وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَاسْمَعُوا  ۗ  وَاللَّهُ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ
Yawma Yajma`u Al-Lahu Ar-Rusula Fayaqūlu Mādhā 'Ujibtum  ۖ  Qālū Lā `Ilma Lanā  ۖ  'Innaka 'Anta `Allāmu Al-Ghuyūbi َ005-109 (Imagine) the day when Allâh will gather together all the Messengers and asks, `What response did you receive?´ They will say, `We have no real knowledge (about the minds of the people), surely it is You alone Who have true and perfect knowledge of all things unseen.´ يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ الرُّسُلَ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أُجِبْتُمْ  ۖ  قَالُوا لاَ عِلْمَ لَنَا  ۖ  إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوبِ
'Idh Qāla Al-Lahu Yā `Īsá Abna Maryama Adhkur Ni`matī `Alayka Wa `Alá Wa A-Datika 'Idh 'Ayyadttuka Birūĥi Al-Qudusi Tukallimu An-Nāsa Fī Al-Mahdi Wa Kahlāan  ۖ  Wa 'Idh `Allamtuka Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa At-Tawrāata Wa Al-'Injīla  ۖ  Wa 'Idh Takhluqu Mina Aţīni Kahay'ati Aţ-Ţayri Bi'idhnī Fatanfukhu Fīhā Fatakūnu Ţayrāan Bi'idhnī  ۖ  Wa Tubri'u Al-'Akmaha Wa Al-'Abraşa Bi'idhnī  ۖ  Wa 'Idh Tukhriju Al-Mawtá Bi'idhnī  ۖ  Wa 'Idh Kafaftu Banī 'Isrā'īla `Anka 'Idh Ji'tahum Bil-Bayyināti Faqāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Minhum 'In Hādhā 'Illā Siĥrun Mubīnun َ005-110 (Again imagine) when Allâh said, `O Jesus, son of Mary! remember My blessing upon you and upon your mother, how I strengthened you with the holy revelation. You spoke to the people *(when you were) in the cradle and when of old age, and how I taught you the Scripture and the wisdom and the Torah and the Evangel, and how you determined from clay the likeness of a bird by My leave, then you breathed into it (a new spirit) then it became a soaring being by My leave, and by My leave you absolved the blind, the leprous, and by My leave you raised the (spiritually or nearly) dead to life, and how I warded off the Children of Israel from (putting) you (to death). It was the time when you came to them with clear arguments, but those among them who disbelieved had said, "This is naught but a hoax cutting (us) off (from the nation)".´ إِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَاعِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ اذْكُرْ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكَ وَعَلى وَالِدَتِكَ إِذْ أَيَّدتُّكَ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلا ً وَإِذْ  ۖ  عَلَّمْتُكَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالإِنجِيلَ وَإِذْ  ۖ  تَخْلُقُ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ بِإِذْنِي فَتَنفُخُ فِيهَا فَتَكُونُ طَيْرا ً بِإِذْنِي وَتُبْرِئُ  ۖ  الأَكْمَه ََ وَالأَبْرَصَ بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ  ۖ  تُخْرِجُ الْمَوْتَى بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ  ۖ  كَفَفْتُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْكَ إِذْ جِئْتَهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ إِنْ هَذَا إِلاَّ سِحْر ٌ مُبِين ٌ
Wa 'Idh 'Awĥaytu 'Ilá Al-Ĥawārīyīna 'An 'Āminū Bī Wa Birasūlī Qālū 'Āmannā Wa Ash/had Bi'annanā Muslimūna َ005-111 `And how I revealed to the disciples to believe in Me and in My Messenger, and they said, "We believe, and (O God!) bear witness that we are the submitting ones".´ وَإِذْ أَوْحَيْتُ إِلَى الْحَوَارِيِّينَ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِي وَبِرَسُولِي قَالُوا آمَنَّا وَاشْهَدْ بِأَنَّنَا مُسْلِمُونَ
'Idh Qāla Al-Ĥawārīyūna Yā `Īsá Abna Maryama Hal Yastaţī`u Rabbuka 'An Yunazzila `Alaynā Mā'idatan Mina As-Samā'i  ۖ  Qāla Attaqū Al-Laha 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna َ005-112 (Recall the time) when the disciples said, `O Jesus, son of Mary! would your Lord consent to send down to us a table spread with a sure and lasting food from heaven?´ He said, `Keep your duty to Allâh, if you are true believers. إِذْ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ هَلْ يَسْتَطِيعُ رَبُّكَ أَنْ يُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَة ً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ  ۖ  قَالَ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنْ كُنتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
Qālū Nurīdu 'An Na'kula Minhā Wa Taţma'inna Qulūbunā Wa Na`lama 'An Qad Şadaqtanā Wa Nakūna `Alayhā Mina Ash-Shāhidīna َ005-113 They said, `We desire that we may eat of it and that our hearts be at rest and that we may know that you have indeed spoken the truth to us and that we may be among the witnesses thereto.´ قَالُوا نُرِيدُ أَنْ نَأْكُلَ مِنْهَا وَتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُنَا وَنَعْلَمَ أَنْ قَدْ صَدَقْتَنَا وَنَكُونَ عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Qāla `Īsá Abnu Maryama Al-Lahumma Rabbanā 'Anzil `Alaynā Mā'idatan Mina As-Samā'i Takūnu Lanā `Īdāan Li'wwalinā Wa 'Ākhirinā Wa 'Āyatan Minka  ۖ  Wa Arzuqnā Wa 'Anta Khayru Ar-Rāziqīna َ005-114 Jesus, son of Mary, prayed, `O Allâh! our Lord! send down to us a table spread with a sure and lasting food from heaven that it may be to us a (source of) festival ever recurring, to the first of us and to the last of us and (serve as) sign from You and provide sustenance for us, for You are the Best of providers of sustenance.´ قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَة ً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدا ً لِأوَّلِنَا وَآخِرِنَا وَآيَة ً مِنْكَ  ۖ  وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
Qāla Al-Lahu 'Innī Munazziluhā `Alaykum  ۖ  Faman Yakfur Ba`du Minkum Fa'innī 'U`adhdhibuhu `Adhābāan Lā 'U`adhdhibuhu 'Aĥadāan Mina Al-`Ālamīna َ005-115 Allâh said, `I will surely be (always) sending it (-the food) down to you but whosoever shows ingratitude afterwards, I will surely punish him with a punishment which I will give to no one else in the whole world.´ قَالَ اللَّهُ إِنِّي مُنَزِّلُهَا عَلَيْكُمْ  ۖ  فَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بَعْدُ مِنْكُمْ فَإِنِّي أُعَذِّبُه ُُ عَذَابا ً لاَ أُعَذِّبُهُ~ُ أَحَدا ً مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ
Wa 'Idh Qāla Al-Lahu Yā `Īsá Abna Maryama 'A'anta Qulta Lilnnāsi Attakhidhūnī Wa 'Ummiya 'Ilahayni Min Dūni Al-Lahi  ۖ  Qāla Subĥānaka Mā Yakūnu Lī 'An 'Aqūla Mā Laysa Lī Biĥaqqin  ۚ  'In Kuntu Qultuhu Faqad `Alimtahu  ۚ  Ta`lamu Mā Fī Nafsī Wa Lā 'A`lamu Mā Fī Nafsika  ۚ  'Innaka 'Anta `Allāmu Al-Ghuyūbi َ005-116 And when Allâh said, `O Jesus, son of Mary! did you say to the people, "Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allâh?"´ He (-Jesus) replied, `Glory to You! it was not possible and proper for me to say thing to which I had no right. If I had said, You would indeed have known it, (for) You know all that is in my mind but I do not know what is in Yours. It is You alone Who truly know all things unseen. وَإِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ أَأَنتَ قُلْتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُونِي وَأُمِّيَ إِلَهَيْنِ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ  ۖ  قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِحَقّ ٍ  ۚ  إِنْ كُنتُ قُلْتُه ُُ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَه ُُ  ۚ  تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلاَ أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ  ۚ  إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوبِ
Mā Qultu Lahum 'Illā Mā 'Amartanī Bihi 'Ani A`budū Al-Laha Rabbī Wa Rabbakum  ۚ  Wa Kuntu `Alayhim Shahīdāan Mā Dumtu Fīhim  ۖ  Falammā Tawaffaytanī Kunta 'Anta Ar-Raqība `Alayhim  ۚ  Wa 'Anta `Alá Kulli Shay'in Shahīdun َ005-117 `I said nothing to them except that what You had commanded me, "Worship Allâh, my Lord as well as your Lord". I was a witness over them (only) so long as I remained among them but ever since You caused me to die, You Yourself have been the Watcher over them and You are the Witness to everything. مَا قُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِلاَّ مَا أَمَرْتَنِي بِهِ~ِ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ  ۚ  وَكُنتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدا ً مَا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ  ۖ  فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي كُنتَ أَنْتَ الرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ  ۚ  وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء ٍ شَهِيد ٌ
'In Tu`adhdhibhum Fa'innahum `Ibāduka  ۖ  Wa 'In Taghfir Lahum Fa'innaka 'Anta Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu َ005-118 `If You punish them, then surely they are Your servants and if You pardon them, You surely are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.´ إِنْ تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ  ۖ  وَإِنْ تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
Qāla Al-Lahu Hādhā Yawmu Yanfa`u Aş-Şādiqīna Şidquhum  ۚ  Lahum Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā 'Abadāan  ۚ  Rađiya Al-Lahu `Anhum Wa Rađū `Anhu  ۚ  Dhālika Al-Fawzu Al-`Ažīmu َ005-119 Allâh said, `This is the day when their truth shall benefit the truthful. They shall have Gardens served with running streams (to keep them green and flourishing); there they shall live for ever and ever. Allâh is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Him. That indeed is the greatest triumph.´ قَالَ اللَّهُ هَذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ الصَّادِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ  ۚ  لَهُمْ جَنَّات ٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدا ً  ۚ  رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ  ۚ  ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
Lillahi Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Fīhinna  ۚ  Wa Huwa `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun َ005-120 To Allâh belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and whatever lies in them. and He is the Possessor of full power to do all that He will. لِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا فِيهِنَّ  ۚ  وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء ٍ قَدِير ٌ
