Hal 'Atá `Alá Al-'Insāni Ĥīnun Mina Ad-Dahri Lam Yakun Shay'āan Madhkūrāan | Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was nothing to be mentioned? (Al-Insan 76:1) |
'Innā Khalaqnā Al-'Insāna Min Nuţfatin 'Amshājin Nabtalīhi Faja`alnāhu Samī`āan Başīrāan | Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer. (Al-Insan 76:2) |
'Innā Hadaynāhu As-Sabīla 'Immā Shākirāan Wa 'Immā Kafūrāan | Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful. (Al-Insan 76:3) |
'Innā 'A`tadnā Lilkāfirīna Salāsilāan Wa 'Aghlālāan Wa Sa`īrāan | Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers iron chains, iron collars, and a blazing Fire. (Al-Insan 76:4) |
'Inna Al-'Abrāra Yashrabūna Min Ka'sin Kāna Mizājuhā Kāfūrāan | Verily, the Abrār (pious, who fear Allāh and avoid evil), shall drink a cup (of wine) mixed with water from a spring in Paradise called Kāfûr. (Al-Insan 76:5) |
`Aynāan Yashrabu Bihā `Ibādu Al-Lahi Yufajjirūnahā Tafjīrāan | A spring wherefrom the slaves of Allāh will drink, causing it to gush forth abundantly. (Al-Insan 76:6) |
Yūfūna Bin-Nadhri Wa Yakhāfūna Yawmāan Kāna Sharruhu Mustaţīrāan | They (are those who) fulfill (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading. (Al-Insan 76:7) |
Wa Yuţ`imūna Aţ-Ţa`āma `Alá Ĥubbihi Miskīnāan Wa Yatīmāan Wa 'Asīrāan | And they give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive, (Al-Insan 76:8) |
'Innamā Nuţ`imukum Liwajhi Al-Lahi Lā Nurīdu Minkum Jazā'an Wa Lā Shukūrāan | (Saying): "We feed you seeking Allāh's Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you. (Al-Insan 76:9) |
'Innā Nakhāfu Min Rabbinā Yawmāan `Abūsāan Qamţarīrāan | "Verily, We fear from our Lord a Day, hard and distressful, that will make the faces look horrible (from extreme dislikeness to it)." (Al-Insan 76:10) |
Fawaqāhumu Al-Lahu Sharra Dhālika Al-Yawmi Wa Laqqāhum Nađratan Wa Surūrāan | So Allāh saved them from the evil of that Day, and gave them Nadratan (a light of beauty) and joy. (Al-Insan 76:11) |
Wa Jazāhum Bimā Şabarū Jannatan Wa Ĥarīrāan | And their recompense shall be Paradise, and silken garments, because they were patient. (Al-Insan 76:12) |
Muttaki'īna Fīhā `Alá Al-'Arā'iki Lā Yarawna Fīhā Shamsāan Wa Lā Zamharīrāan | Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon). (Al-Insan 76:13) |
Wa Dāniyatan `Alayhim Žilāluhā Wa Dhullilat Quţūfuhā Tadhlīlāan | And the shade thereof is close upon them, and the bunches of fruit thereof will hang low within their reach. (Al-Insan 76:14) |
Wa Yuţāfu `Alayhim Bi'āniyatin Min Fiđđatin Wa 'Akwābin Kānat Qawārīra | And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and cups of crystal, (Al-Insan 76:15) |
Qawārīra Min Fiđđatin Qaddarūhā Taqdīrāan | Crystal-clear, made of silver. They will determine the measure thereof according to their wishes. (Al-Insan 76:16) |
Wa Yusqawna Fīhā Ka'sāan Kāna Mizājuhā Zanjabīlāan | And they will be given to drink there a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabīl (ginger, etc.), (Al-Insan 76:17) |
`Aynāan Fīhā Tusammá Salsabīlāan | A spring there, called Salsabīl. (Al-Insan 76:18) |
Wa Yaţūfu `Alayhim Wildānun Mukhalladūna 'Idhā Ra'aytahum Ĥasibtahum Lu'ulu'uāan Manthūrāan | And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls. (Al-Insan 76:19) |
Wa 'Idhā Ra'ayta Thamma Ra'ayta Na`īmāan Wa Mulkāan Kabīrāan | And when you look there (in Paradise), you will see a delight (that cannot be imagined), and a great dominion. (Al-Insan 76:20) |
`Āliyahum Thiyābu Sundusin Khuđrun Wa 'Istabraqun Wa Ĥullū 'Asāwira Min Fiđđatin Wa Saqāhum Rabbuhum Sharābāan Ţahūrāan | Their garments will be of fine green silk, and gold embroidery. They will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a pure drink. (Al-Insan 76:21) |
'Inna Hādhā Kāna Lakum Jazā'an Wa Kāna Sa`yukum Mashkūrāan | (And it will be said to them): "Verily, this is a reward for you, and your endeavour has been accepted." (Al-Insan 76:22) |
'Innā Naĥnu Nazzalnā `Alayka Al-Qur'āna Tanzīlāan | Verily! It is We Who have sent down the Qur'ān to you (O Muhammad SAW) by stages. (Al-Insan 76:23) |
Fāşbir Liĥukmi Rabbika Wa Lā Tuţi` Minhum 'Āthimāan 'Aw Kafūrāan | Therefore be patient (O Muhammad SAW) and submit to the Command of your Lord (Allāh, by doing your duty to Him and by conveying His Message to mankind), and obey neither a sinner nor a disbeliever among them. (Al-Insan 76:24) |
Wa Adhkur Asma Rabbika Bukratan Wa 'Aşīlāan | And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. (Al-Insan 76:25) |
Wa Mina Al-Layli Fāsjud Lahu Wa Sabbiĥhu Laylāan Ţawīlāan | And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and 'Ishā' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer). (Al-Insan 76:26) |
'Inna Hā'uulā' Yuĥibbūna Al-`Ājilata Wa Yadharūna Warā'ahum Yawmāan Thaqīlāan | Verily! These (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard). (Al-Insan 76:27) |
Naĥnu Khalaqnāhum Wa Shadadnā 'Asrahum Wa 'Idhā Shi'nā Baddalnā 'Amthālahum Tabdīlāan | It is We Who created them, and We have made them of strong built. And when We will, We can replace them with others like them with a complete replacement. (Al-Insan 76:28) |
'Inna Hadhihi Tadhkiratun Faman Shā'a Attakhadha 'Ilá Rabbihi Sabīlāan | Verily! This (Verses of the Qur'ān) is an admonition, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allāh). (Al-Insan 76:29) |
Wa Mā Tashā'ūna 'Illā 'An Yashā'a Al-Lahu 'Inna Al-Laha Kāna `Alīmāan Ĥakīmāan | But you cannot will, unless Allāh wills. Verily, Allāh is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. (Al-Insan 76:30) |
Yudkhilu Man Yashā'u Fī Raĥmatihi Wa Až-Žālimīna 'A`adda Lahum `Adhābāan 'Alīmāan | He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zālimûn, (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) He has prepared a painful torment. (Al-Insan 76:31) |
