Ar-Raĥmānu | The Most Beneficent (Allāh)! (Ar-Rahman 55:1) |
`Allama Al-Qur'āna | Has taught (you mankind) the Qur'ān (by His Mercy). (Ar-Rahman 55:2) |
Khalaqa Al-'Insāna | He created man. (Ar-Rahman 55:3) |
`Allamahu Al-Bayāna | He taught him eloquent speech. (Ar-Rahman 55:4) |
Ash-Shamsu Wa Al-Qamaru Biĥusbānin | The sun and the moon run on their fixed courses (exactly) calculated with measured out stages for each (for reckoning, etc.). (Ar-Rahman 55:5) |
Wa An-Najmu Wa Ash-Shajaru Yasjudāni | And the herbs (or stars) and the trees both prostrate. (Ar-Rahman 55:6) |
Wa As-Samā'a Rafa`ahā Wa Wađa`a Al-Mīzāna | And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance. (Ar-Rahman 55:7) |
'Allā Taţghaw Fī Al-Mīzāni | In order that you may not transgress (due) balance. (Ar-Rahman 55:8) |
Wa 'Aqīmū Al-Wazna Bil-Qisţi Wa Lā Tukhsirū Al-Mīzāna | And observe the weight with equity and do not make the balance deficient. (Ar-Rahman 55:9) |
Wa Al-'Arđa Wađa`ahā Lil'anāmi | And the earth He has put for the creatures. (Ar-Rahman 55:10) |
Fīhā Fākihatun Wa An-Nakhlu Dhātu Al-'Akmāmi | Therein are fruits, date-palms producing sheathed fruit-stalks (enclosing dates). (Ar-Rahman 55:11) |
Wa Al-Ĥabbu Dhū Al-`Aşfi Wa Ar-Rayĥānu | And also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-scented plants. (Ar-Rahman 55:12) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:13) |
Khalaqa Al-'Insāna Min Şalşālin Kālfakhkhāri | He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery. (Ar-Rahman 55:14) |
Wa Khalaqa Al-Jānna Min Mārijin Min Nārin | And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire. (Ar-Rahman 55:15) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:16) |
Rabbu Al-Mashriqayni Wa Rabbu Al-Maghribayni | (He is) the Lord of the two easts (places of sunrise during early summer and early winter) and the Lord of the two wests (places of sunset during early summer and early winter). (Ar-Rahman 55:17) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:18) |
Maraja Al-Baĥrayni Yaltaqiyāni | He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. (Ar-Rahman 55:19) |
Baynahumā Barzakhun Lā Yabghiyāni | Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress. (Ar-Rahman 55:20) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:21) |
Yakhruju Minhumā Al-Lu'ulu'uu Wa Al-Marjānu | Out of them both come out pearl and coral. (Ar-Rahman 55:22) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:23) |
Wa Lahu Al-Jawāri Al-Munsha'ātu Fī Al-Baĥri Kāl'a`lāmi | And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains. (Ar-Rahman 55:24) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:25) |
Kullu Man `Alayhā Fānin | Whatsoever is on it (the earth) will perish. (Ar-Rahman 55:26) |
Wa Yabqá Wajhu Rabbika Dhū Al-Jalāli Wa Al-'Ikrāmi | And the Face of your Lord full of Majesty and Honour will abide forever. (Ar-Rahman 55:27) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:28) |
Yas'aluhu Man Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Kulla Yawmin Huwa Fī Sha'nin | Whosoever is in the heavens and on earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He has a matter to bring forth (such as giving honour to some, disgrace to some, life to some, death to some, etc.)! (Ar-Rahman 55:29) |

Sanafrughu Lakum 'Ayyuhā Ath-Thaqalāni | We shall attend to you, O you two classes (jinns and men)! (Ar-Rahman 55:31) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:32) |
Yā Ma`shara Al-Jinni Wa Al-'Insi 'Ini Astaţa`tum 'An Tanfudhū Min 'Aqţāri As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Fānfudhū Lā Tanfudhūna 'Illā Bisulţānin | O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allāh)! (Ar-Rahman 55:33) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:34) |
Yursalu `Alaykumā Shuwāžun Min Nārin Wa Nuĥāsun Falā Tantaşirāni | There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. (Ar-Rahman 55:35) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:36) |
Fa'idhā Anshaqqati As-Samā'u Fakānat Wardatan Kālddihāni | Then when the heaven is rent asunder, and it becomes rosy or red like red-oil, or red hide. (Ar-Rahman 55:37) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:38) |
Fayawma'idhin Lā Yus'alu `An Dhanbihi 'Insun Wa Lā Jānnun | So on that Day no question will be asked of man or jinn as to his sin, (because they have already been known from their faces either white or black). (Ar-Rahman 55:39) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:40) |
Yu`rafu Al-Mujrimūna Bisīmāhum Fayu'ukhadhu Bin-Nawāşī Wa Al-'Aqdāmi | The Mujrimûn (polytheists, criminals, sinners, etc.) will be known by their marks (black faces), and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet. (Ar-Rahman 55:41) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:42) |
Hadhihi Jahannamu Allatī Yukadhdhibu Bihā Al-Mujrimūna | This is Hell which the Mujrimûn (polytheists, criminals, sinners, etc.) denied. (Ar-Rahman 55:43) |
Yaţūfūna Baynahā Wa Bayna Ĥamīmin 'Ānin | They will go between it (Hell) and the boiling hot water! (Ar-Rahman 55:44) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:45) |
Wa Liman Khāfa Maqāma Rabbihi Jannatāni | But for him who [the true believer of Islāmic Monotheism who performs all the duties ordained by Allāh and His Messenger Muhammad SAW , and keeps away (abstain) from all kinds of sin and evil deeds prohibited in Islām and] fears the standing before his Lord, there will be two Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). (Ar-Rahman 55:46) |

Dhawātā 'Afnānin | With spreading branches; (Ar-Rahman 55:48) |

Fīhimā `Aynāni Tajriyāni | In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free) (Ar-Rahman 55:50) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:51) |
Fīhimā Min Kulli Fākihatin Zawjāni | In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. (Ar-Rahman 55:52) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:53) |
Muttaki'īna `Alá Furushin Baţā'inuhā Min 'Istabraqin Wa Janá Al-Jannatayni Dānin | Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. (Ar-Rahman 55:54) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:55) |
Fīhinna Qāşirātu Aţ-Ţarfi Lam Yaţmithhunna 'Insun Qablahum Wa Lā Jānnun | Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. (Ar-Rahman 55:56) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:57) |
Ka'annahunna Al-Yāqūtu Wa Al-Marjānu | (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. (Ar-Rahman 55:58) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:59) |
Hal Jazā'u Al-'Iĥsāni 'Illā Al-'Iĥsānu | Is there any reward for good other than good? (Ar-Rahman 55:60) |

Wa Min Dūnihimā Jannatāni | And besides these two, there are two other Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). (Ar-Rahman 55:62) |

Ĥūrun Maqşūrātun Fī Al-Khiyāmi | Houris (beautiful, fair females) restrained in pavilions; (Ar-Rahman 55:72) |
Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhdhibāni | Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (Ar-Rahman 55:73) |
Lam Yaţmithhunna 'Insun Qablahum Wa Lā Jānnun | Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. (Ar-Rahman 55:74) |
