Ĥā-Mīm HāMīm. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'ān, and none but Allāh (Alone) knows their meanings]. (Az-Zukhruf 43:1)
Wa Al-Kitābi Al-Mubīni By the manifest Book (that makes things clear, i.e. this Qur'ān). (Az-Zukhruf 43:2)
'Innā Ja`alnāhu Qur'ānāan `Arabīyāan La`allakum Ta`qilūna We verily, have made it a Qur'ān in Arabic, that you may be able to understand (its meanings and its admonitions). (Az-Zukhruf 43:3)
Wa 'Innahu Fī 'Ummi Al-Kitābi Ladaynā La`alīyun Ĥakīmun And Verily, it (this Qur'ān) is in the Mother of the Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz), before Us, indeed Exalted, full of Wisdom. (Az-Zukhruf 43:4)
'Afanađribu `Ankumu Adh-Dhikra Şafĥāan 'An Kuntum Qawmāan Musrifīna Shall We then (warn you not and) take away the Reminder (this Qur'ān) from you, because you are a people Musrifûn. (Az-Zukhruf 43:5)
Wa Kam 'Arsalnā Min Nabīyin Al-'Awwalīna And how many a Prophet have We sent amongst the men of old. (Az-Zukhruf 43:6)
Wa Mā Ya'tīhim Min Nabīyin 'Illā Kānū Bihi Yastahzi'ūn And never came there a Prophet to them but they used to mock at him. (Az-Zukhruf 43:7)
Fa'ahlaknā 'Ashadda Minhum Baţshāan Wa Mađá Mathalu Al-'Awwalīna Then We destroyed men stronger (in power) than these, and the example of the ancients has passed away (before them). (Az-Zukhruf 43:8)
Wa La'in Sa'altahum Man Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Layaqūlunna Khalaqahunna Al-`Azīzu Al-`Alīmu And indeed if you ask them, "Who has created the heavens and the earth?" They will surely say: "The All-Mighty, the All-Knower created them." (Az-Zukhruf 43:9)
Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Lakumu Al-'Arđa Mahdāan Wa Ja`ala Lakum Fīhā Subulāan La`allakum Tahtadūna Who has made for you the earth like a bed, and has made for you roads therein, in order that you may find your way, (Az-Zukhruf 43:10)
Wa Al-Ladhī Nazzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Biqadarin Fa'ansharnā Bihi Baldatan Maytāan Kadhālika Tukhrajūna And Who sends down water (rain) from the sky in due measure. Then We revive a dead land therewith, and even so you will be brought forth (from the dead), (Az-Zukhruf 43:11)
Wa Al-Ladhī Khalaqa Al-'Azwāja Kullahā Wa Ja`ala Lakum Mina Al-Fulki Wa Al-'An`ām Mā Tarkabūna And Who has created all the pairs and has appointed for you ships and cattle on which you ride, (Az-Zukhruf 43:12)
Litastawū `Alá Žuhūrihi Thumma Tadhkurū Ni`mata Rabbikum 'Idhā Astawaytum `Alayhi Wa Taqūlū Subĥāna Al-Ladhī Sakhkhara Lanā Hādhā Wa Mā Kunnā Lahu Muqrinīna In order that you may mount firmly on their backs, and then may remember the Favour of your Lord when you mount thereon, and say: "Glory to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could never have it (by our efforts)." (Az-Zukhruf 43:13)
Wa 'Innā 'Ilá Rabbinā Lamunqalibūna And verily, to Our Lord we indeed are to return! (Az-Zukhruf 43:14)
Wa Ja`alū Lahu Min `Ibādihi Juz'āan 'Inna Al-'Insāna Lakafūrun Mubīnun Yet they assign to some of His slaves a share with Him (by pretending that He has children, and considering them as equals or co-partners in worship with Him). Verily, man is indeed a manifest ingrate! (Az-Zukhruf 43:15)
'Am Attakhadha Mimmā Yakhluqu Banātin Wa 'Aşfākum Bil-Banīna Or has He taken daughters out of what He has created, and He has selected for you sons? (Az-Zukhruf 43:16)
Wa 'Idhā Bushshira 'Aĥaduhum Bimā Đaraba Lilrraĥmani Mathalāan Žalla Wajhuhu Muswaddāan Wa Huwa Kažīmun And if one of them is informed of the news of (the birth of) that which he set forth as a parable to the Most Beneficent (Allāh) (i.e. of a girl), his face becomes dark, gloomy, and he is filled with grief! (Az-Zukhruf 43:17)
'Awaman Yunashsha'u Fī Al-Ĥilyati Wa Huwa Fī Al-Khāmi Ghayru Mubīnin (Do they then like for Allāh) a creature who is brought up in adornments (wearing silk and gold ornaments, i.e. women), and in dispute cannot make herself clear? (Az-Zukhruf 43:18)
Wa Ja`alū Al-Malā'ikata Al-Ladhīna Hum `Ibādu Ar-Raĥmāni 'Ināthāan 'Ashahidū Khalqahum Satuktabu Shahādatuhum Wa Yus'alūna And they make the angels who themselves are slaves to the Most Beneficent (Allāh) females. Did they witness their creation? Their evidence will be recorded, and they will be questioned! (Az-Zukhruf 43:19)
Wa Qālū Law Shā'a Ar-Raĥmānu Mā `Abadnāhum Mā Lahum Bidhālika Min `Ilmin 'In Hum 'Illā Yakhruşūna And they said: "If it had been the Will of the Most Beneficent (Allāh), we should not have worshipped them (false deities)." They have no knowledge whatsoever of that. They do nothing but lie! (Az-Zukhruf 43:20)
'Am 'Ātaynāhum Kitābāan Min Qablihi Fahum Bihi Mustamsikūna Or have We given them any Book before this (the Qur'ān), to which they are holding fast? (Az-Zukhruf 43:21)
Bal Qālū 'Innā Wajadnā 'Ābā'anā `Alá 'Ummatin Wa 'Innā `Alá 'Āthārihim Muhtadūna Nay! They say: "We found our fathers following a certain way and religion, and we guide ourselves by their footsteps." (Az-Zukhruf 43:22)
Wa Kadhalika Mā 'Arsalnā Min Qablika Fī Qaryatin Min Nadhīrin 'Illā Qāla Mutrafūhā 'Innā Wajadnā 'Ābā'anā `Alá 'Ummatin Wa 'Innā `Alá 'Āthārihim Muqtadūna And similarly, We sent not a warner before you (O Muhammad SAW) to any town (people) but the luxurious ones among them said: "We found our fathers following a certain way and religion, and we will indeed follow their footsteps." (Az-Zukhruf 43:23)
Qāla 'Awalaw Ji'tukum Bi'ahdá Mimmā Wajadtum `Alayhi 'Ābā'akum Qālū 'Innā Bimā 'Ursiltum Bihi Kāfirūna (The warner) said: "Even if I bring you better guidance than that which you found your fathers following?" They said: "Verily, We disbelieve in that with which you have been sent." (Az-Zukhruf 43:24)
ntaqamnā Minhum Fānžur Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mukadhdhibīna So We took revenge of them, then see what was the end of those who denied (Islāmic Monotheism). (Az-Zukhruf 43:25)
Wa 'Idh Qāla 'Ibrāhīmu Li'abīhi Wa Qawmihi 'Innanī Barā'un Mimmā Ta`budūna And (remember) when Ibrahīm (Abraham) said to his father and his people: "Verily, I am innocent of what you worship, (Az-Zukhruf 43:26)
'Illā Al-Ladhī Faţaranī Fa'innahu Sayahdīni "Except Him (i.e. I worship none but Allāh Alone) Who did create me, and verily, He will guide me." (Az-Zukhruf 43:27)
Wa Ja`alahā Kalimatan Bāqiyatan Fī `Aqibihi La`allahum Yarji`ūna And he made it [i.e. Lā ilāha ill-Allāh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allāh Alone)] a Word lasting among his offspring (True Monotheism), that they may turn back (i.e. to repent to Allāh or receive admonition). (Az-Zukhruf 43:28)
Bal Matta`tu Hā'uulā' Wa 'Ābā'ahum Ĥattá Jā'ahumu Al-Ĥaqqu Wa Rasūlun Mubīnun Nay, but I gave (the good things of this life) to these (polytheists) and their fathers to enjoy, till there came to them the truth (the Qur'ān), and a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) making things clear. (Az-Zukhruf 43:29)
Wa Lammā Jā'ahumu Al-Ĥaqqu Qālū Hādhā Siĥrun Wa 'Innā Bihi Kāfirūna And when the truth (this Qur'ān) came to them, they (the disbelievers in this Qur'ān) said: "This is magic, and we disbelieve therein." (Az-Zukhruf 43:30)
Wa Qālū Lawlā Nuzzila Hādhā Al-Qur'ānu `Alá Rajulin Mina Al-Qaryatayni `Ažīmin And they say: "Why is not this Qur'ān sent down to some great man of the two towns (Makkah and Tā'if)?" (Az-Zukhruf 43:31)
'Ahum Yaqsimūna Raĥmata Rabbika Naĥnu Qasamnā Baynahum Ma`īshatahum Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Rafa`nā Ba`đahum Fawqa Ba`đin Darajātin Liyattakhidha Ba`đuhum Ba`đāan Sukhrīyāan Wa Raĥmatu Rabbika Khayrun Mimmā Yajma`ūna Is it they who would portion out the Mercy of your Lord? It is We Who portion out between them their livelihood in this world, and We raised some of them above others in ranks, so that some may employ others in their work. But the Mercy (Paradise) of your Lord (O Muhammad SAW) is better than the (wealth of this world) which they amass. (Az-Zukhruf 43:32)
Wa Lawlā 'An Yakūna An-Nāsu 'Ummatan Wāĥidatan Laja`alnā Liman Yakfuru Bir-Raĥmani Libuyūtihim Suqufāan Min Fađđatin Wa Ma`ārija `Alayhā Yažharūna And were it not that all mankind would have become of one community (all disbelievers, desiring worldly life only), We would have provided for those who disbelieve in the Most Beneficent (Allāh), silver roofs for their houses, and elevators (and stair-ways, etc. of silver) whereby they ascend, (Az-Zukhruf 43:33)
Wa Libuyūtihim 'Abwābāan Wa Sururāan `Alayhā Yattaki'ūna And for their houses, doors (of silver), and thrones (of silver) on which they could recline, (Az-Zukhruf 43:34)
Wa Zukhrufāan Wa 'In Kullu Dhālika Lammā Matā`u Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhiratu `Inda Rabbika Lilmuttaqīna And adornments of gold. Yet all this (i.e. the roofs, doors, stairs, elevators, thrones etc. of their houses) would have been nothing but an enjoyment of this world. And the Hereafter with your Lord is only for the Muttaqûn. (Az-Zukhruf 43:35)
Wa Man Ya`shu `An Dhikri Ar-Raĥmāni Nuqayyiđ Lahu Shayţānāan Fahuwa Lahu Qarīnun And whosoever turns away (blinds himself) from the remembrance of the Most Beneficent (Allāh) (i.e. this Qur'ān and worship of Allāh), We appoint for him Shaitān (Satan devil) to be a Qarīn (an intimate companion) to him. (Az-Zukhruf 43:36)
Wa 'Innahum Layaşuddūnahum `Ani As-Sabīli Wa Yaĥsabūna 'Annahum Muhtadūna And verily, they (Satans / devils) hinder them from the Path (of Allāh), but they think that they are guided aright! (Az-Zukhruf 43:37)
Ĥattá 'Idhā Jā'anā Qāla Yā Layta Baynī Wa Baynaka Bu`da Al-Mashriqayni Fabi'sa Al-Qarīnu Till, when (such a one) comes to Us, he says [to his Qarīn (Satan / devil companion)] "Would that between me and you were the distance of the two easts (or the east and west)" a worst (type of) companion (indeed)! (Az-Zukhruf 43:38)
Wa Lan Yanfa`akumu Al-Yawma 'Idh Žalamtum 'Annakum Fī Al-`Adhābi Mushtarikūna It will profit you not this Day (O you who turn away from Allāh's remembrance and His worship, etc.) as you did wrong, (and) that you will be sharers (you and your Qarīn) in the punishment. (Az-Zukhruf 43:39)
'Afa'anta Tusmi`u Aş-Şumma 'Aw Tahdī Al-`Umya Wa Man Kāna Fī Đalālin Mubīnin Can you (O Muhammad SAW) make the deaf to hear, or can you guide the blind or him who is in manifest error? (Az-Zukhruf 43:40)
Fa'immā Nadh/habanna Bika Fa'innā Minhum Muntaqimūna And even if We take you (O Muhammad SAW) away, We shall indeed take vengeance on them. (Az-Zukhruf 43:41)
'Aw Nuriyannaka Al-Ladhī Wa`adnāhum Fa'innā `Alayhim Muqtadirūna Or (if) We show you that wherewith We threaten them, then verily, We have perfect command over them. (Az-Zukhruf 43:42)
Fāstamsik Bial-Ladhī 'Ūĥiya 'Ilayka 'Innaka `Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin So hold you (O Muhammad SAW) fast to that which is inspired in you. Verily, you are on a Straight Path. (Az-Zukhruf 43:43)
Wa 'Innahu Ladhikrun Laka Wa Liqawmika Wa Sawfa Tus'alūna And verily, this (the Qur'ān) is indeed a Reminder for you (O Muhammad SAW) and your people (Quraish people, or your followers), and you will be questioned (about it). (Az-Zukhruf 43:44)
Wa As'al Man 'Arsalnā Min Qablika Min Rusulinā 'Aja`alnā Min Dūni Ar-Raĥmāni 'Ālihatan Yu`badūna And ask (O Muhammad SAW) those of Our Messengers whom We sent before you: "Did We ever appoint āliha (gods) to be worshipped besides the Most Beneficent (Allāh)?" (Az-Zukhruf 43:45)
Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Mūsá Bi'āyātinā 'Ilá Fir`awna Wa Mala'ihi Faqāla 'Innī Rasūlu Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna And indeed We did send Mûsa (Moses) with Our Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his chiefs (inviting them to Allāh's Religion of Islām) He said: "Verily, I am a Messenger of the Lord of the 'Alamīn (mankind, jinns and all that exists)." (Az-Zukhruf 43:46)
Falammā Jā'ahum Bi'āyātinā 'Idhā Hum Minhā Yađĥakūna But when he came to them with Our Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) behold! They laughed at them. (Az-Zukhruf 43:47)
Wa Mā Nurīhim Min 'Āyatin 'Illā Hiya 'Akbaru Min 'Ukhtihā Wa 'Akhadhnāhum Bil-`Adhābi La`allahum Yarji`ūna And not an Ayāh (sign, etc.) We showed them but it was greater than its fellow, and We seized them with torment, in order that they might turn [from their polytheism to Allāh's Religion (Islāmic Monotheism)]. (Az-Zukhruf 43:48)
Wa Qālū Yā 'Ayyuhā As-Sāĥiru Ad`u Lanā Rabbaka Bimā `Ahida `Indaka 'Innanā Lamuhtadūn And they said [to Mûsa (Moses)]: "O you sorcerer! Invoke your Lord for us according to what He has covenanted with you. Verily, We shall guide ourselves (aright)." (Az-Zukhruf 43:49)
Falammā Kashafnā `Anhumu Al-`Adhāba 'Idhā Hum Yankuthūna But when We removed the torment from them, behold! They broke their covenant (that they will believe if We remove the torment for them). (Az-Zukhruf 43:50)
Wa Nādá Fir`awnu Fī Qawmihi Qāla Yā Qawmi 'Alaysa Lī Mulku Mişra Wa Hadhihi Al-'Anhāru Tajrī Min Taĥtī 'Afalā Tubşirūna And Fir'aun (Pharaoh) proclaimed among his people, saying: "O my people! Is not mine the dominion of Egypt, and these rivers flowing underneath me. See you not then? (Az-Zukhruf 43:51)
'Am 'Anā Khayrun Min Hādhā Al-Ladhī Huwa Mahīnun Wa Lā Yakādu Yubīnu "Am I not better than this one [Mûsa (Moses)], who is Mahīn [has no honour nor any respect, and is weak and despicable] and can scarcely express himself clearly? (Az-Zukhruf 43:52)
Falawlā 'Ulqiya `Alayhi 'Aswiratun Min Dhahabin 'Aw Jā'a Ma`ahu Al-Malā'ikatu Muqtarinīna "Why then are not golden bracelets bestowed on him, or angels sent along with him?" (Az-Zukhruf 43:53)
Fāstakhaffa Qawmahu Fa'aţā`ūhu 'Innahum Kānū Qawmāan Fāsiqīna Thus he [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] befooled and misled his people, and they obeyed him. Verily, they were ever a people who were Fāsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allāh). (Az-Zukhruf 43:54)
Falammā 'Āsafūnā Antaqamnā Minhum Fa'aghraqnāhum 'Ajma`īna So when they angered Us, We punished them, and drowned them all. (Az-Zukhruf 43:55)
Faja`alnāhum Salafāan Wa Mathalāan Lil'ākhirīna And We made them a precedent (as a lesson for those coming after them), and an example to later generations. (Az-Zukhruf 43:56)
Wa Lammā Đuriba Abnu Maryama Mathalāan 'Idhā Qawmuka Minhu Yaşiddūna And when the son of Maryam (Mary) is quoted as an example [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus) is worshipped like their idols), behold! Your people cry aloud (laugh out at the example). (Az-Zukhruf 43:57)
Wa Qālū 'A'ālihatunā Khayrun 'Am Huwa Mā Đarabūhu Laka 'Illā Jadalāan Bal Hum Qawmun Khaşimūna And say: "Are our āliha (gods) better or is he ['Iesa (Jesus)]?" They quoted not the above example except for argument. Nay! But they are a quarrelsome people. [(See VV. 21:97-101) - The Qur'ān.] (Az-Zukhruf 43:58)
'In Huwa 'Illā `Abdun 'An`amnā `Alayhi Wa Ja`alnāhu Mathalāan Libanī 'Isrā'īla He ['Iesa (Jesus)] was not more than a slave. We granted Our Favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel (i.e. his creation without a father). (Az-Zukhruf 43:59)
Wa Law Nashā'u Laja`alnā Minkum Malā'ikatan Al-'Arđi Yakhlufūna And if it were Our Will, We would have [destroyed you (mankind) all, and] made angels to replace you on the earth. [Tafsir At-Tabarī, Vol:25, Page 89]. (Az-Zukhruf 43:60)
Wa 'Innahu La`ilmun Lilssā`ati Falā Tamtarunna Bihā Wa Attabi`ūnī Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun And he ['Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)] shall be a known sign for (the coming of) the Hour (Day of Resurrection) [i.e. 'Iesa's (Jesus) descent on the earth][] . Therefore have no doubt concerning it (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). And follow Me (Allāh) (i.e. be obedient to Allāh and do what He orders you to do, O mankind)! This is the Straight Path (of Islāmic Monotheism, leading to Allāh and to His Paradise). (Az-Zukhruf 43:61)
Wa Lā Yaşuddannakumu Ash-Shayţānu 'Innahu Lakum `Adūwun Mubīnun And let not Shaitān (Satan) hinder you (from the right religion, i.e. Islāmic Monotheism), Verily, he (Satan) to you is a plain enemy. (Az-Zukhruf 43:62)
Wa Lammā Jā'a `Īsá Bil-Bayyināti Qāla Qad Ji'tukum Bil-Ĥikmati Wa Li'abayyina Lakum Ba`đa Al-Ladhī Takhtalifūna Fīhi Fa Attaqū Al-Laha Wa 'Aţī`ūni And when 'Iesa (Jesus) came with (Our) clear Proofs, he said: "I have come to you with Al-Hikmah (Prophethood), and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) in which you differ, therefore fear Allāh and obey me, (Az-Zukhruf 43:63)
'Inna Al-Laha Huwa Rabbī Wa Rabbukum Fā`budūhu Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun "Verily, Allāh! He is my Lord (God) and your Lord (God). So worship Him (Alone). This is the (only) Straight Path (i.e. Allāh's religion of true Islāmic Monotheism)." (Az-Zukhruf 43:64)
khtalafa Al-'Aĥzābu Min Baynihim Fawaylun Lilladhīna Žalamū Min `Adhābi Yawmin 'Alīmin But the sects from among themselves differed. So woe to those who do wrong (by ascribing things to 'Iesa (Jesus) that are not true) from the torment of a painful Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)! (Az-Zukhruf 43:65)
Hal Yanžurūna 'Illā As-Sā`ata 'An Ta'tiyahum Baghtatan Wa Hum Lā Yash`urūna Do they only wait for the Hour that it shall come upon them suddenly, while they perceive not? (Az-Zukhruf 43:66)
Al-'Akhillā'u Yawma'idhin Ba`đuhum Liba`đin `Adūwun 'Illā Al-Muttaqīna Friends on that Day will be foes one to another except Al-Muttaqûn (pious - see V.2:2). (Az-Zukhruf 43:67)
Yā `Ibādi Lā Khawfun `Alaykumu Al-Yawma Wa Lā 'Antum Taĥzanūna (It will be said to the true believers of Islāmic Monotheism): My worshippers! No fear shall be on you this Day, nor shall you grieve, (Az-Zukhruf 43:68)
Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Bi'āyātinā Wa Kānū Muslimīna (You) who believed in Our Ayāt (proofs, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and were Muslims (i.e. who submit totally to Allāh's Will, and believe in the Oneness of Allāh - Islāmic Monotheism). (Az-Zukhruf 43:69)
Adkhulū Al-Jannata 'Antum Wa 'Azwājukum Tuĥbarūna Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness. (Az-Zukhruf 43:70)
Yuţāfu `Alayhim Bişiĥāfin Min Dhahabin Wa 'Akwābin Wa Fīhā Mā Tashtahīhi Al-'Anfusu Wa Taladhdhu Al-'A`yunu Wa 'Antum Fīhā Khālidūna Trays of gold and cups will be passed round them, (there will be) therein all that the one's inner-selves could desire, all that the eyes could delight in, and you will abide therein forever. (Az-Zukhruf 43:71)
Wa Tilka Al-Jannatu Allatī 'Ūrithtumūhā Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna This is the Paradise which you have been made to inherit because of your deeds which you used to do (in the life of the world). (Az-Zukhruf 43:72)
Lakum Fīhā Fākihatun Kathīratun Minhā Ta'kulūna Therein for you will be fruits in plenty, of which you will eat (as you desire). (Az-Zukhruf 43:73)
'Inna Al-Mujrimīna Fī `Adhābi Jahannama Khālidūn Verily, the Mujrimûn (criminals, sinners, disbelievers, etc.) will be in the torment of Hell to abide therein forever. (Az-Zukhruf 43:74)
Lā Yufattaru `Anhum Wa Hum Fīhi Mublisūna (The torment) will not be lightened for them, and they will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair therein. (Az-Zukhruf 43:75)
Wa Mā Žalamnāhum Wa Lakin Kānū Humu Až-Žālimīna We wronged them not, but they were the Zālimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.). (Az-Zukhruf 43:76)
Wa Nādaw Yā Māliku Liyaqđi `Alaynā Rabbuka Qāla 'Innakum Mākithūna And they will cry: "O Malik (Keeper of Hell)! Let your Lord make an end of us." He will say: "Verily you shall abide forever." (Az-Zukhruf 43:77)
Laqad Ji'nākum Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Lakinna 'Aktharakum Lilĥaqqi Kārihūna Indeed We have brought the truth (Muhammad SAW with the Qur'ān), to you, but most of you have a hatred for the truth. (Az-Zukhruf 43:78)
'Am 'Abramū 'Amrāan Fa'innā Mubrimūna Or have they plotted some plan? Then We too are planning. (Az-Zukhruf 43:79)
'Am Yaĥsabūna 'Annā Lā Nasma`u Sirrahum Wa Najwāhum Balá Wa Rusulunā Ladayhim Yaktubūna Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsel? (Yes We do) and Our Messengers (appointed angels in charge of mankind) are by them, to record. (Az-Zukhruf 43:80)
Qul 'In Kāna Lilrraĥmani Waladun Fa'anā 'Awwalu Al-`Ābidīna Say (O Muhammad SAW): "If the Most Beneficent (Allāh) had a son (or children as you pretend), then I am the first of Allāh's worshippers [who deny and refute this claim of yours (and the first to believe in Allāh Alone and testify that He has no children)]." [Tafsir At-Tabarī]. (Az-Zukhruf 43:81)
Subĥāna Rabbi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Rabbi Al-`Arshi `Ammā Yaşifūna Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne! Exalted be He from all that they ascribe (to Him). (Az-Zukhruf 43:82)
Fadharhum Yakhūđū Wa Yal`abū Ĥattá Yulāqū Yawmahumu Al-Ladhī Yū`adūna So leave them (alone) to speak nonsense and play until they meet the Day of theirs, which they have been promised. (Az-Zukhruf 43:83)
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Fī As-Samā'i 'Ilahun Wa Fī Al-'Arđi 'Ilahun Wa Huwa Al-Ĥakīmu Al-`Alīmu It is He (Allāh) Who is the only Ilāh (God to be worshipped) in the heaven and the only Ilāh (God to be worshipped) on the earth. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower. (Az-Zukhruf 43:84)
Wa Tabāraka Al-Ladhī Lahu Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Baynahumā Wa `Indahu `Ilmu As-Sā`ati Wa 'Ilayhi Turja`ūna And blessed be He to Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, and with Whom is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Whom you (all) will be returned. (Az-Zukhruf 43:85)
Wa Lā Yamliku Al-Ladhīna Yad`ūna Min Dūnihi Ash-Shafā`ata 'Illā Man Shahida Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Hum Ya`lamūna And those whom they invoke instead of Him have no power of intercession; except those who bear witness to the truth (i.e. believed in the Oneness of Allāh, and obeyed His Orders), and they know (the facts about the Oneness of Allāh) . (Az-Zukhruf 43:86)
Wa La'in Sa'altahum Man Khalaqahum Layaqūlunna Al-Lahu Fa'anná Yu'ufakūna And if you ask them who created them, they will surely say: "Allāh". How then are they turned away (from the worship of Allāh, Who created them)? (Az-Zukhruf 43:87)
Wa Qīlihi Yā Rabbi 'Inna Hā'uulā' Qawmun Lā Yu'uminūna (Allāh has knowledge) of (Prophet Muhammad's) saying: "O my Lord! Verily, these are a people who believe not!" (Az-Zukhruf 43:88)
Fāşfaĥ `Anhum Wa Qul Salāmun Fasawfa Ya`lamūna So turn away from them (O Muhammad SAW), and say: Salām (peace)! But they will come to know.[] (Az-Zukhruf 43:89)
