Al-Fīl | 105.001 Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant? | أَلَمْ تَرَى كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيل |
| 'Alam Yaj`al
Kaydahum Fī Tađlīlin | 105.002 Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray? | أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيل ٍ |
| Wa 'Arsala `Alayhim
Ţayrāan 'Abābīla | 105.003 And He sent against them Flights of Birds, | وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْراً أَبَابِيلَ |
| Tarmīhim
Biĥijāratin Min
Sijjīlin | 105.004 Striking them with stones of baked clay. | تَرْمِيهِمْ بِحِجَارَة ٍ مِنْ سِجِّيل ٍ |
| Faja`alahum
Ka`aşfin Ma'kūlin | 105.005 Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up. | فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْف ٍ مَأْكُول ٍ |
