Ĥā-Mīm (Az-Zukhruf: 1). 043.001 Ha-Mim حَا-مِيم
Wa Al-Kitābi Al-Mubīni (Az-Zukhruf: 2). 043.002 By the Book that makes things clear,- وَ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ ‌الْمُبِينِ
'Innā Ja`alnāhu Qur'ānāan `Aray7an La`allakum Ta`qilūna (Az-Zukhruf: 3). 043.003 We have made it a Qur'an in Arabic, that ye may be able to understand (and learn wisdom). إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ جَعَلْن‍‍َاهُ قُ‍‍رْ‌آناً‌ عَ‍رَبِيّاً لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْ‍‍قِ‍‍لُونَ
Wa 'Innahu Fī 'Ummi Al-Kitābi Ladaynā La`alīyun Ĥakīmun (Az-Zukhruf: 4). 043.004 And verily, it is in the Mother of the Book, in Our Presence, high (in dignity), full of wisdom. وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ فِ‍‍ي ‌أُمِّ ‌الْكِت‍‍َابِ لَدَيْنَا‌ لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ
'Afanađribu `Ankumu Adh-Dhikra Şafĥāan 'An Kuntum Qawmāan Musrifīna (Az-Zukhruf: 5). 043.005 Shall We then take away the Message from you and repel (you), for that ye are a people transgressing beyond bounds? أَفَنَ‍‍‍‍ضْ‍‍رِبُ عَ‍‌‍ن‍‍كُمُ ‌ال‍‍ذِّكْ‍رَصَ‍‍فْحاً أَ‌ن‌ْ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ قَ‍‍وْماً مُسْ‍‍رِفِينَ
Wa Kam 'Arsalnā Min Nabīyin Al-'Awwalīna (Az-Zukhruf: 6). 043.006 But how many were the prophets We sent amongst the peoples of old? وَكَمْ ‌أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَبِيٍّ فِي ‌الأَ‌وَّلِينَ
Wa Mā Ya'tīhim Min Nabīyin 'Illā Kānū Bihi Yastahzi'ūn (Az-Zukhruf: 7). 043.007 And never came there a prophet to them but they mocked him. وَمَا‌ يَأْتِيهِمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَبِيٍّ ‌إِلاَّ‌ كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئ‍‍ُ‍‍ون
Fa'ahlaknā 'Ashadda Minhum Baţshāan Wa Mađá Mathalu Al-'Awwalīna (Az-Zukhruf: 8). 043.008 So We destroyed (them)- stronger in power than these;- and (thus) has passed on the Parable of the peoples of old. فَأَهْلَكْنَ‍‍ا أَشَدَّ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ بَ‍‍‍‍‍طْ‍‍‍‍شاً ‌وَمَ‍‍ضَ‍‍ى‌ مَثَلُ ‌الأَ‌وَّلِينَ
Wa La'in Sa'altahum Man Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Layaqūlunna Khalaqahunna Al-`Azīzu Al-`Alīmu (Az-Zukhruf: 9). 043.009 If thou wert to question them, 'Who created the heavens and the earth?' They would be sure to reply, 'they were created by (Him), the Exalted in Power, Full of Knowledge';- وَلَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضَ لَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ‍‍نّ‌َ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ‍‍هُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌الْعَز‍ِ‍ي‍‍زُ‌ ‌الْعَلِيمُ
Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Lakumu Al-'Arđa Mahdāan Wa Ja`ala Lakum Fīhā Subulāan La`allakum Tahtadūna (Az-Zukhruf: 10). 043.010 (Yea, the same that) has made for you the earth (like a carpet) spread out, and has made for you roads (and channels) therein, in order that ye may find guidance (on the way); ‌الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضَ مَهْد‌اً ‌وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا‌ سُبُلاً لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُ‌ونَ
Wa Al-Ladhī Nazzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Biqadarin Fa'ansharnā Bihi Baldatan Maytāan ۚ Kadhālika Tukhrajūna (Az-Zukhruf: 11). 043.011 That sends down (from time to time) rain from the sky in due measure;- and We raise to life therewith a land that is dead; even so will ye be raised (from the dead);- وَ‌الَّذِي نَزَّلَ مِنَ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ‌ م‍‍َا‌ءً بِ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍دَ‌ر‌‌ٍ فَأَ‌ن‍‍شَرْنَا‌ بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَيْتاً ۚ كَذَلِكَ تُ‍‍خْ‍رَجُونَ
Wa Al-Ladhī Khalaqa Al-'Azwāja Kullahā Wa Ja`ala Lakum Mina Al-Fulki Wa Al-'An`ām Mā Tarkabūna (Az-Zukhruf: 12). 043.012 That has created pairs in all things, and has made for you ships and cattle on which ye ride, وَ‌الَّذِي خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ ‌الأَ‌زْ‌و‍َ‍‌اجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ ‌الْفُلْكِ ‌وَ‌الأَنعَام‍ مَا‌ تَرْكَبُونَ
Litastawū `Alá Žuhūrihi Thumma Tadhkurū Ni`mata Rabbikum 'Idhā Astawaytum `Alayhi Wa Taqūlū Subĥāna Al-Ladhī Sakhkhara Lanā Hādhā Wa Mā Kunnā Lahu Muqrinīna (Az-Zukhruf: 13). 043.013 In order that ye may sit firm and square on their backs, and when so seated, ye may celebrate the (kind) favour of your Lord, and say, "Glory to Him Who has subjected these to our (use), for we could never have accomplished this (by ourselves), لِتَسْتَوُ‌وا عَلَى‌ ظُ‍‍هُو‌رِهِ ثُ‍‍مّ‌َ تَذْكُرُ‌وا نِعْمَةَ ‌‍رَبِّكُمْ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌اسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌وَتَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُوا سُ‍‍بْ‍‍حانَ ‌الَّذِي سَ‍‍خَّ‍رَ‌ لَنَا‌ هَذَ‌ا وَمَا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ لَهُ مُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍رِنِينَ
Wa 'Innā 'Ilá Rabbinā Lamunqalibūna (Az-Zukhruf: 14). 043.014 "And to our Lord, surely, must we turn back!" وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا إِلَى ‍‍‍رَبِّنَا‌ لَمُ‍‌‍ن‍‍قَ‍‍لِبُونَ
Wa Ja`alū Lahu Min `Ibādihi Juz'āan ۚ 'Inna Al-'Insāna Lakafūrun Mubīnun (Az-Zukhruf: 15). 043.015 Yet they attribute to some of His servants a share with Him (in his godhead)! truly is man a blasphemous ingrate avowed! وَجَعَلُوا لَهُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِبَا‌دِهِ جُزْ‌ء‌اً ۚ ‌إِنّ‌َ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍س‍‍َانَ لَكَف‍‍ُ‍و‌رٌ مُبِينٌ
'Am Attakhadha Mimmā Yakhluqu Banātin Wa 'Aşfākum Bil-Banīna (Az-Zukhruf: 16). 043.016 What! has He taken daughters out of what He himself creates, and granted to you sons for choice? أَمْ ‌اتَّ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍ذَ‌ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُ‍‍قُ بَن‍‍َاتٍ ‌وَ‌أَ‍صْ‍‍فَاكُمْ بِ‌الْبَنِينَ
Wa 'Idhā Bushshira 'Aĥaduhum Bimā Đaraba Lilrraĥmani Mathalāan Žalla Wajhuhu Muswaddāan Wa Huwa Kažīmun (Az-Zukhruf: 17). 043.017 When news is brought to one of them of (the birth of) what he sets up as a likeness to (God) Most Gracious, his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief! وَ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ بُشِّ‍‍رَ ‌أَحَدُهُمْ بِمَا‌ ضَ‍رَبَ لِ‍‍ل‍رَّحْمَنِ مَثَلاً ظَ‍‍لَّ ‌وَجْ‍‍هُهُ مُسْوَ‌دّ‌اً ‌وَهُوَ‌ كَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٌ
'Awaman Yunashsha'u Fī Al-Ĥilyati Wa Huwa Fī Al-Khişāmi Ghayru Mubīnin (Az-Zukhruf: 18). 043.018 Is then one brought up among trinkets, and unable to give a clear account in a dispute (to be associated with God)? أَ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يُنَشَّأُ‌ فِي ‌الْحِلْيَةِ ‌وَهُوَ‌ فِي ‌الْ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍صَ‍امِ غَ‍‍يْ‍‍رُ‌ مُبِينٍ
Wa Ja`alū Al-Malā'ikata Al-Ladhīna Hum `Ibādu Ar-Raĥmani 'Ināthāan ۚ 'Ashahidū Khalqahum ۚ Satuktabu Shahādatuhum Wa Yus'alūna (Az-Zukhruf: 19). 043.019 And they make into females angels who themselves serve God. Did they witness their creation? Their evidence will be recorded, and they will be called to account! وَجَعَلُوا ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةَ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ هُمْ عِب‍‍َا‌دُ‌ ‌ال‍‍‍‍رَّحْمَنِ ‌إِنَاثاً‌ ۚ ‌أَشَهِدُ‌وا خَ‍‍لْ‍‍قَ‍‍هُمْ ۚ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَا‌دَتُهُمْ ‌وَيُسْأَلُونَ
Wa Qālū Law Shā'a Ar-Raĥmānu Mā `Abadnāhum ۗ Mā Lahum Bidhālika Min `Ilmin ۖ 'In Hum 'Illā Yakhruşūna (Az-Zukhruf: 20). 043.020 ("Ah!") they say, "If it had been the will of (God) Most Gracious, we should not have worshipped such (deities)!" Of that they have no knowledge! they do nothing but lie! وَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُوا لَوْ‌ ش‍‍َا‌ءَ ‌ال‍رَّحْمَنُ مَا‌ عَبَ‍‍دْنَاهُمْ ۗ مَا‌ لَهُمْ بِذَلِكَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عِلْمٍ ۖ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ هُمْ ‌إِلاَّ‌ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍رُصُ‍‍ونَ
'Am 'Ātaynāhum Kitābāan Min Qablihi Fahum Bihi Mustamsikūna (Az-Zukhruf: 21). 043.021 What! have We given them a Book before this, to which they are holding fast? أَمْ ‌آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَاباً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِهِ فَهُمْ بِهِ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ
Bal Qālū 'Innā Wajadnā 'Ābā'anā `Alá 'Ummatin Wa 'Innā `Aláthārihim Muhtadūna (Az-Zukhruf: 22). 043.022 Nay! they say: "We found our fathers following a certain religion, and we do guide ourselves by their footsteps." بَلْ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا وَجَ‍‍دْنَ‍‍ا آب‍‍َا‌ءَنَا‌ عَلَ‍‍ى أُمَّ‍‍ةٍ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ عَلَ‍‍ى آثَا‌رِهِمْ مُهْتَدُ‌ونَ
Wa Kadhalika Mā 'Arsalnā Min Qablika Fī Qaryatin Min Nadhīrin 'Illā Qāla Mutrafūhā 'Innā Wajadnā 'Ābā'anā `Alá 'Ummatin Wa 'Innā `Aláthārihim Muqtadūna (Az-Zukhruf: 23). 043.023 Just in the same way, whenever We sent a Warner before thee to any people, the wealthy ones among them said: "We found our fathers following a certain religion, and we will certainly follow in their footsteps." وَكَذَلِكَ مَ‍‍ا أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ فِي قَ‍‍رْيَةٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ نَذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍ر‌ٍ ‌إِلاَّ قَ‍الَ مُتْ‍رَفُوهَ‍‍ا إِنَّ‍‍ا وَجَ‍‍دْنَ‍‍ا آب‍‍َا‌ءَنَا‌ عَلَ‍‍ى أُمَّ‍‍ةٍ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ عَلَ‍‍ى آثَا‌رِهِمْ مُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تَدُ‌ونَ
Qāla 'Awalaw Ji'tukum Bi'ahdá Mimmā Wajadtum `Alayhi 'Ābā'akum ۖ Qālū 'Innā Bimā 'Ursiltum Bihi Kāfirūna (Az-Zukhruf: 24). 043.024 He said: "What! Even if I brought you better guidance than that which ye found your fathers following?" They said: "For us, we deny that ye (prophets) are sent (on a mission at all)." قَ‍الَ ‌أَ‌وَلَوْ‌ جِئْتُكُمْ بِأَهْدَ‌ى‌ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا وَجَ‍‍دْتُمْ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌آب‍‍َا‌ءَكُمْ ۖ قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ بِمَ‍‍ا أُ‌رْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُ‌ونَ
ntaqamnā Minhum ۖnžur Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mukadhdhibīna (Az-Zukhruf: 25). 043.025 So We exacted retribution from them: now see what was the end of those who rejected (Truth)! فَا‌ن‍‍تَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍مْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ۖ فَا‌ن‍‍ظُ‍‍رْ‌ كَ‍‍يْ‍‍فَ ك‍‍َانَ عَاقِ‍‍بَةُ ‌الْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Wa 'Idh Qāla 'Ibhīmu Li'abīhi Wa Qawmihi 'Innanī Barā'un Mimmā Ta`budūna (Az-Zukhruf: 26). 043.026 Behold! Abraham said to his father and his people: "I do indeed clear myself of what ye worship: وَ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ قَ‍الَ ‌إِبْ‍‍‍رَ‌اه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مُ لِأَب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌وَقَ‍‍وْمِهِ ‌إِنَّ‍‍نِي بَر‍َ‌اءٌ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ تَعْبُدُ‌ونَ
'Illā Al-Ladhī Faţaranī Fa'innahu Sayahdīni (Az-Zukhruf: 27). 043.027 "(I worship) only Him Who made me, and He will certainly guide me." إِلاَّ ‌الَّذِي فَ‍‍‍‍طَ‍رَنِي فَإِنَّ‍‍هُ سَيَهْدِينِ
Wa Ja`alahā Kalimatanqiyatan Fī `Aqibihi La`allahum Yarji`ūna (Az-Zukhruf: 28). 043.028 And he left it as a Word to endure among those who came after him, that they may turn back (to God). وَجَعَلَهَا‌ كَلِمَةً بَا‍‍قِ‍‍يَةً فِي عَ‍‍قِ‍‍بِهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Bal Matta`tu Hā'uulā' Wa 'Ābā'ahum Ĥattá Jā'ahumu Al-Ĥaqqu Wa Rasūlun Mubīnun (Az-Zukhruf: 29). 043.029 Yea, I have given the good things of this life to these (men) and their fathers, until the Truth has come to them, and an apostle making things clear. بَلْ مَتَّعْتُ ه‍‍َا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء وَ‌آب‍‍َا‌ءَهُمْ حَتَّى‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَهُمُ ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قُّ ‌وَ‌‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولٌ مُبِينٌ
Wa Lammā Jā'ahumu Al-Ĥaqqu Qālū Hādhā Siĥrun Wa 'Innā Bihi Kāfirūna (Az-Zukhruf: 30). 043.030 But when the Truth came to them, they said: "This is sorcery, and we do reject it." وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَهُمُ ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قُّ قَ‍‍الُوا هَذَ‌ا‌ سِحْرٌ ‌وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ بِهِ كَافِرُ‌ونَ
Wa Qālū Lawlā Nuzzila Hādhā Al-Qur'ānu `Alá Rajulin Mina Al-Qaryatayni `Ažīmin (Az-Zukhruf: 31). 043.031 Also, they say: "Why is not this Qur'an sent down to some leading man in either of the two (chief) cities?" وَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُوا لَوْلاَ‌ نُزِّلَ هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الْ‍‍قُ‍‍رْ‌آنُ عَلَى ‍رَجُلٍ مِنَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍رْيَتَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ عَ‍‍ظِ‍‍يمٍ
'Ahum Yaqsimūna Raĥmata Rabbika ۚ Naĥnu Qasamnā Baynahum Ma`īshatahum Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunۚ Wa Rafa`nā Ba`đahum Fawqa Ba`đin Darajātin Liyattakhidha Ba`đuhum Ba`đāan Sukhrīy7an ۗ Wa Raĥmatu Rabbika Khayrun Mimmā Yajma`ūna (Az-Zukhruf: 32). 043.032 Is it they who would portion out the Mercy of thy Lord? It is We Who portion out between them their livelihood in the life of this world: and We raise some of them above others in ranks, so that some may command work from others. But the Mercy of thy Lord is better than the (wealth) which they amass. أَهُمْ يَ‍‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍سِم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌‍رَحْمَةَ ‌‍رَبِّكَ ۚ نَحْنُ قَ‍‍سَمْنَا‌ بَيْنَهُمْ مَعِيشَتَهُمْ فِي ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌‍رَفَعْنَا‌ بَعْ‍‍ضَ‍‍هُمْ فَ‍‍وْ‍‍قَ بَعْ‍‍ضٍ دَ‌‍رَج‍‍َاتٍ لِيَتَّ‍‍خِ‍‍ذَ‌ بَعْ‍‍ضُ‍‍هُمْ بَعْ‍‍ض‍‍اً سُ‍‍خْ‍‍رِيّاً ۗ ‌وَ‌‍رَحْمَةُ ‌‍رَبِّكَ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ مِ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍مَعُونَ
Wa Lawlā 'An Yakūna An-Nāsu 'Ummatan Wāĥidatan Laja`alnā Liman Yakfuru Bir-Raĥmani Libuyūtihim Suqufāan Min Fađđatin Wa Ma`ārija `Alayhā Yažharūna (Az-Zukhruf: 33). 043.033 And were it not that (all) men might become of one (evil) way of life, We would provide, for everyone that blasphemes against (God) Most Gracious, silver roofs for their houses and (silver) stair-ways on which to go up, وَلَوْلاَ أَ‌ن‌ْ يَك‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌ال‍‍نّ‍‍َاسُ ‌أُمَّ‍‍ةً ‌وَ‌احِدَة ً‌ لَجَعَلْنَا‌ لِمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَكْفُرُ‌ بِ‌ال‍‍‍‍رَّحْمَنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُ‍‍قُ‍‍فاً مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ فَ‍‍ضَّ‍‍ةٍ ‌وَمَعَا‌رِجَ عَلَيْهَا‌ يَ‍‍ظْ‍‍هَرُ‌ونَ
Wa Libuyūtihim 'Abwābāan Wa Suruan `Alayhā Yattaki'ūna (Az-Zukhruf: 34). 043.034 And (silver) doors to their houses, and thrones (of silver) on which they could recline, وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ ‌أَبْ‍‍وَ‌اباً ‌وَسُرُ‌ر‌اً‌ عَلَيْهَا‌ يَتَّكِئ‍‍ُ‍‍ونَ
Wa Zukhrufāan ۚ Wa 'In Kullu Dhālika Lammā Matā`u Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunۚ Wa Al-'Ākhiratu `Inda Rabbika Lilmuttaqīna (Az-Zukhruf: 35). 043.035 And also adornments of gold. But all this were nothing but conveniences of the present life: The Hereafter, in the sight of thy Lord is for the Righteous. وَ‌زُ‍‍خْ‍‍رُفاً ۚ ‌وَ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ كُلُّ ‌ذَلِكَ لَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ مَت‍‍َاعُ ‌الْحَي‍‍َاةِ ‌ال‍‍دُّ‌نْ‍‍يَا‌ ۚ ‌وَ‌الآ‍‍خِ‍رَةُ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَ ‍رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Wa Man Ya`shu `An Dhikri Ar-Raĥmani Nuqayyiđ Lahu Shayţānāan Fahuwa Lahu Qarīnun (Az-Zukhruf: 36). 043.036 If anyone withdraws himself from remembrance of (God) Most Gracious, We appoint for him an evil one, to be an intimate companion to him. وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَعْشُ عَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذِكْ‍‍رِ ‌ال‍‍‍‍رَّحْمَنِ نُ‍‍قَ‍‍يِّ‍‍ضْ لَهُ شَيْ‍‍طَ‍‍اناً فَهُوَ‌ لَهُ قَ‍‍رِينٌ
Wa 'Innahum Layaşuddūnahum `Ani As-Sabīli Wa Yaĥsabūna 'Annahum Muhtadūna (Az-Zukhruf: 37). 043.037 Such (evil ones) really hinder them from the Path, but they think that they are being guided aright! وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ لَيَ‍‍‍‍صُ‍‍دُّ‌ونَهُمْ عَنِ ‌ال‍‍سَّب‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍لِ ‌وَيَحْسَب‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ مُهْتَدُ‌ونَ
Ĥattá 'Idhā Jā'anā Qāla Yā Layta Bayn99 Wa Baynaka Bu`da Al-Mashriqayni Fabi'sa Al-Qarīnu (Az-Zukhruf: 38). 043.038 At length, when (such a one) comes to Us, he says (to his evil companion): "Would that between me and thee were the distance of East and West!" Ah! evil is the companion (indeed)! حَتَّ‍‍ى إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَنَا‌ قَ‍الَ يَالَ‍‍يْ‍‍تَ بَيْنِي ‌وَبَيْنَكَ بُعْدَ ‌الْمَشْ‍‍رِ‍قَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ فَبِئْسَ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍رِينُ
Wa Lan Yanfa`akumu Al-Yawma 'Idh Žalamtum 'Annakum Al-`Adhābi Mushtarikūna (Az-Zukhruf: 39). 043.039 When ye have done wrong, it will avail you nothing, that Day, that ye shall be partners in Punishment! وَلَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍فَعَكُمُ ‌الْيَ‍‍وْمَ ‌إِ‌ذْ‌ ظَ‍‍لَمْتُمْ ‌أَنَّ‍‍كُمْ فِي ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ مُشْتَ‍‍رِكُونَ
'Afa'anta Tusmi`u Aş-Şumma 'Aw Tahdī Al-`Umya Wa Man Kāna Fī Đalālin Mubīnin (Az-Zukhruf: 40). 043.040 Canst thou then make the deaf to hear, or give direction to the blind or to such as (wander) in manifest error? أَفَأَ‌نْ‍‍تَ تُسْمِعُ ‌ال‍‍‍‍‍صُّ‍‍مّ‌َ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ تَهْدِي ‌الْعُمْيَ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ فِي ضَ‍‍لاَلٍ مُبِينٍ
Fa'immā Nadh/habanna Bika Fa'innā Minhum Muntaqimūna (Az-Zukhruf: 41). 043.041 Even if We take thee away, We shall be sure to exact retribution from them, فَإِمَّ‍‍ا‌ نَذْهَبَ‍‍نّ‌َ بِكَ فَإِنَّ‍‍ا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ مُ‍‌‍نْ‍‍تَ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍مُونَ
'Aw Nuriyannaka Al-Ladhī Wa`adnāhum Fa'innā `Alayhim Muqtadirūna (Az-Zukhruf: 42). 043.042 Or We shall show thee that (accomplished) which We have promised them: for verily We shall prevail over them. أَ‌وْ‌ نُ‍‍رِيَ‍‍نَّ‍‍كَ ‌الَّذِي ‌وَعَ‍‍دْنَاهُمْ فَإِنَّ‍‍ا‌ عَلَيْهِمْ مُ‍‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تَدِ‌رُ‌ونَ
Fāstamsik Bial-Ladhī 'Ūĥiya 'Ilayka ۖ 'Innaka `Alá Şiţin Mustaqīmin (Az-Zukhruf: 43). 043.043 So hold thou fast to the Revelation sent down to thee; verily thou art on a Straight Way. فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِ‌الَّذِي ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وحِيَ ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍كَ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كَ عَلَى‌ صِ‍رَ‍‌اطٍ مُسْتَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمٍ
Wa 'Innahu Ladhikrun Laka Wa Liqawmika ۖ Wa Sawfa Tus'alūna (Az-Zukhruf: 44). 043.044 The (Qur'an) is indeed the message, for thee and for thy people; and soon shall ye (all) be brought to account. وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَذِكْر‌ٌ لَكَ ‌وَلِ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍وْمِكَ ۖ ‌وَسَ‍‍وْفَ تُسْأَلُونَ
Wa As'al Man 'Arsalnā Min Qablika Min Rusulinā 'Aja`alnā Min Dūni Ar-Raĥmani 'Ālihatan Yu`badūna (Az-Zukhruf: 45). 043.045 And question thou our apostles whom We sent before thee; did We appoint any deities other than (God) Most Gracious, to be worshipped? وَ‌اسْأَلْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ قَ‍‍بْ‍‍لِكَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌رُسُلِنَ‍‍ا أَجَعَلْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونِ ‌ال‍رَّحْمَنِ ‌آلِهَةً يُعْبَدُ‌ونَ
Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Mūsá Bi'āyātinā 'Ilá Fir`awna Wa Mala'ihi Faqāla 'Innī Rasūlu Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (Az-Zukhruf: 46). 043.046 We did send Moses aforetime, with Our Signs, to Pharaoh and his Chiefs: He said, "I am an apostle of the Lord of the Worlds." وَلَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ أَ‌رْسَلْنَا‌ مُوسَى‌ بِآيَاتِنَ‍‍ا إِلَى‌ فِ‍‍ر‌ْعَ‍‍وْنَ ‌وَمَلَئِهِ فَ‍‍قَ‍الَ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي ‌‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ولُ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَالَمِينَ
Falammā Jā'ahum Bi'āyātinā 'Idhā Hum Minhā Yađĥakūna (Az-Zukhruf: 47). 043.047 But when he came to them with Our Signs, behold they ridiculed them. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَهُمْ بِآيَاتِنَ‍‍ا إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هُمْ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ يَ‍‍‍‍ضْ‍‍حَكُونَ
Wa Mā Nurīhim Min 'Āyatin 'Illā Hiya 'Akbaru Min 'Ukhtihā ۖ Wa 'Akhadhnāhum Bil-`Adhābi La`allahum Yarji`ūna (Az-Zukhruf: 48). 043.048 We showed them Sign after Sign, each greater than its fellow, and We seized them with Punishment, in order that they might turn (to Us). وَمَا‌ نُ‍‍رِيهِمْ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌آيَةٍ ‌إِلاَّ‌ هِيَ ‌أَكْبَرُ‌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌أُ‍‍خْ‍‍تِهَا‌ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَ‍خَ‍‍ذْنَاهُمْ بِ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
Wa Qālū Yā 'Ayyuhā As-Sāĥiru Ad`u Lanā Rabbaka Bimā `Ahida `Indaka 'Innanā Lamuhtadūn (Az-Zukhruf: 49). 043.049 And they said, "O thou sorcerer! Invoke thy Lord for us according to His covenant with thee; for we shall truly accept guidance." وَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُوا ي‍‍َا‌أَيُّهَا‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّاحِ‍‍رُ‌ا‌دْعُ لَنَا ‍رَبَّكَ بِمَا‌ عَهِدَ‌ عِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَكَ ‌إِنَّ‍‍نَا‌ لَمُهْتَ‍‍د‍‍ُ‍‌ون
Falammā Kashafnā `Anhumu Al-`Adhāba 'Idhā Hum Yankuthūna (Az-Zukhruf: 50). 043.050 But when We removed the Penalty from them, behold, they broke their word. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ كَشَفْنَا‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمُ ‌الْعَذ‍َ‍‌ابَ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ هُمْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍كُثُونَ
Wa Nādá Fir`awnu Fī Qawmihi Qāla Yā Qawmi 'Alaysa Lī Mulku Mişra Wa Hadhihi Al-'Anhāru Tajrī Min Taĥtī ۖ 'Afalā Tubşirūna (Az-Zukhruf: 51). 043.051 And Pharaoh proclaimed among his people, saying: "O my people! Does not the dominion of Egypt belong to me, (witness) these streams flowing underneath my (palace)? What! see ye not then? وَنَا‌دَ‌ى‌ فِ‍‍ر‌ْعَ‍‍وْنُ فِي قَ‍‍وْمِهِ قَ‍الَ يَاقَ‍‍وْمِ ‌أَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍سَ لِي مُلْكُ مِ‍‍صْ‍رَ وَهَذِهِ ‌الأَ‌نْ‍‍ه‍‍َا‌رُ‌ تَ‍‍جْ‍‍رِي مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ تَحْتِ‍‍ي ‌أَفَلاَ ۖ تُ‍‍بْ‍‍‍‍صِ‍‍رُ‌ونَ
'Am 'Anā Khayrun Min Hādhā Al-Ladhī Huwa Mahīnun Wa Lā Yakādu Yubīnu (Az-Zukhruf: 52). 043.052 "Am I not better than this (Moses), who is a contemptible wretch and can scarcely express himself clearly? أَمْ ‌أَنَا‌ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ هَذَ‌ا‌ ‌الَّذِي هُوَ‌ مَه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نٌ ‌وَلاَ‌ يَك‍‍َا‌دُ‌ يُبِينُ
Falawlā 'Ulqiya `Alayhi 'Aswiratun Min Dhahabin 'Aw Jā'a Ma`ahu Al-Malā'ikatu Muqtarinīna (Az-Zukhruf: 53). 043.053 "Then why are not gold bracelets bestowed on him, or (why) come (not) with him angels accompanying him in procession?" فَلَوْلاَ أُلْ‍‍‍‍قِ‍‍يَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌أَسْوِ‌‍رَةٌ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذَهَبٍ ‌أَ‌وْ‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ مَعَهُ ‌الْمَلاَئِكَةُ مُ‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍تَ‍‍رِنِينَ
Fāstakhaffa Qawmahu Fa'aţā`ūhu ۚ 'Innahum Kānū Qawmāan Fāsiqīna (Az-Zukhruf: 54). 043.054 Thus did he make fools of his people, and they obeyed him: truly were they a people rebellious (against God). فَاسْتَ‍‍‍‍خَ‍‍فَّ قَ‍‍وْمَهُ فَأَطَ‍‍اع‍‍ُ‍وهُ ۚ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُمْ كَانُوا قَ‍‍وْماً فَاسِ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Falammā 'Āsafūnā Antaqamnā Minhum Fa'aghraqnāhum 'Ajma`īna (Az-Zukhruf: 55). 043.055 When at length they provoked Us, We exacted retribution from them, and We drowned them all. فَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا آسَفُونَا‌ ‌ان‍‍تَ‍‍‍‍قَ‍‍مْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ فَأَغْ‍رَ‍قْ‍‍‍‍نَاهُمْ ‌أَجْ‍‍مَعِينَ
Faja`alnāhum Salafāan Wa Mathalāan Lil'ākhirīna (Az-Zukhruf: 56). 043.056 And We made them (a people) of the Past and an Example to later ages. فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ سَلَفاً ‌وَمَثَلاً لِلآ‍‍‍‍خِ‍‍رِينَ
Wa Lammā Đuriba Abnu Maryama Mathalāan 'Idhā Qawmuka Minhu Yaşiddūna (Az-Zukhruf: 57). 043.057 When (Jesus) the son of Mary is held up as an example, behold, thy people raise a clamour thereat (in ridicule)! وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ضُ‍‍رِبَ ‌ابْ‍‍نُ مَرْيَمَ مَثَلاً ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ قَ‍‍وْمُكَ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُ يَ‍‍صِ‍‍دُّ‌ونَ
Wa Qālū 'A'ālihatunā Khayrun 'Am Huwa ۚĐarabūhu Laka 'Illā Jadalāan ۚ Bal Hum Qawmun Khaşimūna (Az-Zukhruf: 58). 043.058 And they say, "Are our gods best, or he?" This they set forth to thee, only by way of disputation: yea, they are a contentious people. وَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُ‍‍وا ‌أَ‌آلِهَتُنَا‌ خَ‍‍يْ‍‍رٌ أَمْ هُوَ ۚ مَا‌ ضَ‍رَب‍‍ُ‍وهُ لَكَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ جَدَلاً ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَ‍‍وْمٌ خَ‍‍صِ‍‍مُونَ
'In Huwa 'Illā `Abdun 'An`amnā `Alayhi Wa Ja`alnāhu Mathalāan Libanī 'Isrā'īla (Az-Zukhruf: 59). 043.059 He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel. إِ‌ن‌ْ هُوَ إِلاَّ‌ عَ‍‍بْ‍‍دٌ أَ‌نْ‍‍عَمْنَا‌ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ ‌وَجَعَلْن‍‍َاهُ مَثَلاً لِبَنِ‍‍ي ‌إِسْر‍َ‍‌ائ‍‍ِ‍‍يلَ
Wa Law Nashā'u Laja`alnā Minkum Malā'ikatan Al-'Arđi Yakhlufūna (Az-Zukhruf: 60). 043.060 And if it were Our Will, We could make angels from amongst you, succeeding each other on the earth. وَلَوْ‌ نَش‍‍َا‌ءُ‌ لَجَعَلْنَا‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍كُمْ مَلاَئِكَةً فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ يَ‍‍خْ‍‍لُفُونَ
Wa 'Innahu La`ilmun Lilssā`ati Falā Tamtarunna Bihā Wa Attabi`ūnī ۚdhā Şiţun Mustaqīmun (Az-Zukhruf: 61). 043.061 And (Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment): therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow ye Me: this is a Straight Way. وَ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَعِلْم ٌ لِلسَّاعَةِ فَلاَ‌ تَمْتَرُنّ‌َ بِهَا وَ‌اتَّبِعُونِي ۚ هَذَ‌ا‌ صِ‍رَ‍‌اط‍ٌ مُسْتَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمٌ
Wa Lā Yaşuddannakumu Ash-Shayţānu ۖ 'Innahu Lakum `Adūwun Mubīnun (Az-Zukhruf: 62). 043.062 Let not the Evil One hinder you: for he is to you an enemy avowed. وَلاَ‌ يَ‍‍‍‍صُ‍‍دَّنَّ‍‍كُمُ ‌ال‍‍شَّيْ‍‍طَ‍انُ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍هُ لَكُمْ عَدُ‌وٌّ مُبِينٌ
Wa Lammā Jā'a `Īsá Bil-Bayyināti Qāla Qad Ji'tukum Bil-Ĥikmati Wa Li'abayyina Lakum Ba`đa Al-Ladhī Takhtalifūna Fīhi Fa ۖ Attaqū Allaha Wa 'Aţī`ūni (Az-Zukhruf: 63). 043.063 When Jesus came with Clear Signs, he said: "Now have I come to you with Wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) on which ye dispute: therefore fear God and obey me. وَلَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ ج‍‍َا‌ءَ‌ عِيسَى‌ بِ‌الْبَيِّن‍‍َاتِ قَ‍الَ قَ‍‍دْ‌ جِئْتُكُمْ بِ‌الْحِكْمَةِ ‌وَلِأَبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ بَعْ‍‍ضَ ‌الَّذِي تَ‍‍خْ‍‍تَلِف‍‍ُ‍ونَ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ۖ فَاتَّ‍‍قُ‍‍وا ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌أَطِ‍‍يعُونِ
'Inna Allāha Huwa Rabbī Wa Rabbukum Fā`budūhu ۚdhā Şiţun Mustaqīmun (Az-Zukhruf: 64). 043.064 "For God, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship ye Him: this is a Straight Way." إِنّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ هُوَ ‍‍‍رَبِّي ‌وَ‌‍رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُد‍ُ‍‌وهُ ۚ هَذَ‌ا‌ صِ‍رَ‍‌اط‍ٌ مُسْتَ‍‍قِ‍‍يمٌ
khtalafa Al-'Aĥzābu Min Baynihim ۖ Fawaylun Lilladhīna Žalamū Min `Adhābi Yawmin 'Alīmin (Az-Zukhruf: 65). 043.065 But sects from among themselves fell into disagreement: then woe to the wrong-doers, from the Penalty of a Grievous Day! فَا‍‍خْ‍‍تَلَفَ ‌الأَحْز‍َ‍‌ابُ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ بَيْنِهِمْ ۖ فَوَيْ‍‍ل ٌ لِلَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ظَ‍‍لَمُوا مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ عَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ يَ‍‍وْمٍ ‌أَلِيمٍ
Hal Yanžurūna 'Illā As-Sā`ata 'An Ta'tiyahum Baghtatan Wa Hum Lā Yash`urūna (Az-Zukhruf: 66). 043.066 Do they only wait for the Hour - that it should come on them all of a sudden, while they perceive not? هَلْ يَ‍‌‍ن‍‍‍‍‍ظُ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌إِلاَّ ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةَ ‌أَ‌ن‌ْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ بَ‍‍غْ‍‍تَةً ‌وَهُمْ لاَ‌ يَشْعُرُ‌ونَ
Al-'Akhillā'u Yawma'idhin Ba`đuhum Liba`đin `Adūwun 'Illā Al-Muttaqīna (Az-Zukhruf: 67). 043.067 Friends on that day will be foes, one to another,- except the Righteous. ‌الأَ‍‍خِ‍‍لاَّ‌ءُ‌ يَوْمَئِذ‌ٍ بَعْ‍‍ضُ‍‍هُمْ لِبَعْ‍‍ضٍ عَدُ‌وٌّ ‌إِلاَّ ‌الْمُتَّ‍‍قِ‍‍ينَ
Yā `Ibādi Lā Khawfun `Alaykumu Al-Yawma Wa Lā 'Antum Taĥzanūna (Az-Zukhruf: 68). 043.068 My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,- يَاعِب‍‍َا‌دِ‌ لاَ خَ‍‍وْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ‌الْيَ‍‍وْمَ ‌وَلاَ أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ
Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Bi'āyātinā Wa Kānū Muslimīna (Az-Zukhruf: 69). 043.069 (Being) those who have believed in Our Signs and bowed (their wills to Ours) in Islam. ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ ‌آمَنُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ
Adkhulū Al-Jannata 'Antum Wa 'Azwājukum Tuĥbarūna (Az-Zukhruf: 70). 043.070 Enter ye the Garden, ye and your wives, in (beauty and) rejoicing. ا‌دْ‍‍‍‍خُ‍‍لُوا ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةَ ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ ‌وَ‌أَ‌زْ‌وَ‌اجُكُمْ تُحْبَرُ‌ونَ
Yuţāfu `Alayhim Bişāfin Min Dhahabin Wa 'Akwābin ۖ Wa Fīhā Mā Tashtahīhi Al-'Anfusu Wa Taladhdhu Al-'A`yunu ۖ Wa 'Antum Fīhā Khālidūna (Az-Zukhruf: 71). 043.071 To them will be passed round, dishes and goblets of gold: there will be there all that the souls could desire, all that their ayes could delight in: and ye shall abide therein (for eye). يُ‍‍طَ‍افُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِ‍‍صِ‍‍ح‍‍َافٍ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌ذَهَبٍ ‌وَ‌أَكْو‍َ‍‌ابٍ ۖ ‌وَفِيهَا‌ مَا‌ تَشْتَه‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ‌الأَ‌ن‍‍فُسُ ‌وَتَلَذُّ‌ ‌الأَعْيُنُ ۖ ‌وَ‌أَ‌نْ‍‍تُمْ فِيهَا‌ خَ‍‍الِدُ‌ونَ
Wa Tilka Al-Jannatu Allatīrithtumūhā Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna (Az-Zukhruf: 72). 043.072 Such will be the Garden of which ye are made heirs for your (good) deeds (in life). وَتِلْكَ ‌الْجَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ةُ ‌الَّتِ‍‍ي ‌أ‍ُ‍‌و‌رِثْتُمُوهَا‌ بِمَا‌ كُ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Lakum Fīhā Fākihatun Kathīratun Minhā Ta'kulūna (Az-Zukhruf: 73). 043.073 Ye shall have therein abundance of fruit, from which ye shall have satisfaction. لَكُمْ فِيهَا‌ فَاكِهَةٌ كَثِي‍‍‍رَةٌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ تَأْكُلُونَ
'Inna Al-Mujrimīna Fī `Adhābi Jahannama Khālidūn (Az-Zukhruf: 74). 043.074 The sinners will be in the Punishment of Hell, to dwell therein (for aye): إِنّ‌َ ‌الْمُ‍‍جْ‍‍رِم‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِي عَذ‍َ‍‌ابِ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ خَ‍‍الِ‍‍د‍‍ُ‍‌ون
Lā Yufattaru `Anhum Wa Hum Fīhi Mublisūna (Az-Zukhruf: 75). 043.075 Nowise will the (Punishment) be lightened for them, and in despair will they be there overwhelmed. لاَ‌ يُفَتَّرُ‌ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌وَهُمْ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ مُ‍‍بْ‍‍لِسُونَ
Wa Mā Žalamnāhum Wa Lakin Kānū Humu Až-Žālimīna (Az-Zukhruf: 76). 043.076 Nowise shall We be unjust to them: but it is they who have been unjust themselves. وَمَا‌ ظَ‍‍لَمْنَاهُمْ ‌وَلَكِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ كَانُوا هُمُ ‌ال‍‍ظَّ‍‍الِمِينَ
Wa Nādawā Yā Māliku Liyaqđi `Alaynā Rabbuka ۖ Qāla 'Innakum Mākithūna (Az-Zukhruf: 77). 043.077 They will cry: "O Malik! would that thy Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Nay, but ye shall abide!" وَنَا‌دَ‌وْ‌ا‌ يَامَالِكُ لِيَ‍‍‍‍‍قْ‍‍‍‍‍‍ضِ عَلَيْنَا ‍رَبُّكَ قَ‍الَ ۖ ‌إِنَّ‍‍كُمْ مَاكِثُونَ
Laqad Ji'nākum Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Lakinna 'Aktharakum Lilĥaqqi Kārihūna (Az-Zukhruf: 78). 043.078 Verily We have brought the Truth to you: but most of you have a hatred for Truth. لَ‍‍قَ‍‍دْ‌ جِئْنَاكُمْ بِ‌الْحَ‍‍قِّ ‌وَلَكِ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌أَكْثَ‍رَكُمْ لِلْحَ‍‍قِّ كَا‌رِهُونَ
'Am 'Abramū 'Aman Fa'innā Mubrimūna (Az-Zukhruf: 79). 043.079 What! have they settled some plan (among themselves)? But it is We Who settle things. أَمْ ‌أَبْ‍‍‍‍‍رَمُ‍‍وا ‌أَمْر‌اً فَإِنَّ‍‍ا‌ مُ‍‍بْ‍‍رِمُونَ
'Am Yaĥsabūna 'Annā Lā Nasma`u Sirrahum Wa Najwāhum ۚ Balá Wa Rusulunā Ladayhim Yaktubūna (Az-Zukhruf: 80). 043.080 Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsels? Indeed (We do), and Our messengers are by them, to record. أَمْ يَحْسَب‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌أَنَّ‍‍ا‌ لاَ‌ نَسْمَعُ سِ‍‍ر‍‍ّ‍َهُمْ ‌وَنَ‍‍جْ‍‍وَ‌اهُمْ ۚ بَلَى وَ‌رُسُلُنَا‌ لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ
Qul 'In Kāna Lilrraĥmani Waladun Fa'anā 'Awwalu Al-`Ābidīna (Az-Zukhruf: 81). 043.081 Say: "If (God) Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship." قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِ‌ن‌ْ ك‍‍َانَ لِ‍‍ل‍رَّحْمَنِ ‌وَلَدٌ فَأَنَ‍‍ا أَ‌وَّلُ ‌الْعَابِدِينَ
Subĥāna Rabbi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Rabbi Al-`Arshi `Ammā Yaşifūna (Az-Zukhruf: 82). 043.082 Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)! سُ‍‍بْ‍‍ح‍‍َانَ ‌‍‍‍رَبِّ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌‍رَبِّ ‌الْعَرْشِ عَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ يَ‍‍صِ‍‍فُونَ
Fadharhum Yakhūđū Wa Yal`abū Ĥattá Yulāqū Yawmahumu Al-Ladhī Yū`adūna (Az-Zukhruf: 83). 043.083 So leave them to babble and play (with vanities) until they meet that Day of theirs, which they have been promised. فَذَ‌رْهُمْ يَ‍‍‍‍خُ‍‍وضُ‍‍وا ‌وَيَلْعَبُوا حَتَّى‌ يُلاَقُ‍‍وا يَوْمَهُمُ ‌الَّذِي يُوعَدُ‌ونَ
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Fī As-Samā'i 'Ilahun Wa Fī Al-'Arđi 'Ilahun ۚ Wa Huwa Al-Ĥakīmu Al-`Alīmu (Az-Zukhruf: 84). 043.084 It is He Who is God in heaven and God on earth; and He is full of Wisdom and Knowledge. وَهُوَ ‌الَّذِي فِي ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َا‌ءِ إِلَهٌ ‌وَفِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍‍ضِ ‌إِلَهٌ ۚ ‌وَهُوَ ‌الْحَك‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍مُ ‌الْعَلِيمُ
Wa Tabāraka Al-Ladhī Lahu Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Baynahumā Wa `Indahu `Ilmu As-Sā`ati Wa 'Ilayhi Turja`ūna (Az-Zukhruf: 85). 043.085 And blessed is He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all between them: with Him is the Knowledge of the Hour (of Judgment): and to Him shall ye be brought back. وَتَبَا‌‍‍‍رَكَ ‌الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ ‌ال‍‍سَّمَا‌و‍َ‍‌اتِ ‌وَ‌الأَ‌رْضِ ‌وَمَا‌ بَيْنَهُمَا وَعِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍دَهُ عِلْمُ ‌ال‍‍سَّاعَةِ ‌وَ‌إِلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ تُرْجَعُونَ
Wa Lā Yamliku Al-Ladhīna Yad`ūna Min Dūnihi Ash-Shafā`ata 'Illā Man Shahida Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Hum Ya`lamūna (Az-Zukhruf: 86). 043.086 And those whom they invoke besides God have no power of intercession;- only he who bears witness to the Truth, and they know (him). وَلاَ‌ يَمْلِكُ ‌الَّذ‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ يَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍ونَ مِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ ‌دُ‌ونِهِ ‌ال‍‍شَّفَاعَةَ ‌إِلاَّ‌ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ شَهِدَ‌ بِ‌الْحَ‍‍‍‍قِّ ‌وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa La'in Sa'altahum Man Khalaqahum Layaqūlunna Allāhu ۖ Fa'anná Yu'ufakūna (Az-Zukhruf: 87). 043.087 If thou ask them, who created them, they will certainly say, God: How then are they deluded away (from the Truth)? وَلَئِ‍‌‍ن‌ْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَ‍‌‍ن‌ْ خَ‍‍لَ‍‍قَ‍‍هُمْ لَيَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ‍‍نّ‌َ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ۖ فَأَنَّ‍‍ى‌ يُؤْفَكُونَ
Wa Qīlihi Yā Rabbi 'Inna Hā'uulā' Qawmun Lā Yu'uminūna (Az-Zukhruf: 88). 043.088 (God has knowledge) of the (Prophet's) cry, "O my Lord! Truly these are people who will not believe!" وَ‍‍قِ‍‍يلِهِ يَا‌‍رَبِّ ‌إِنّ‌َ ه‍‍َا‌ؤُلاَ‌ء‌ قَ‍‍وْم ٌ لاَ‌ يُؤْمِنُونَ
şfaĥ `Anhum Wa Qul Salāmun ۚ Fasawfa Ya`lamūna (Az-Zukhruf: 89). 043.089 But turn away from them, and say "Peace!" But soon shall they know! فَا‍‍صْ‍‍فَحْ عَ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هُمْ ‌وَقُ‍‍لْ سَلاَمٌ ۚ فَسَ‍‍وْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
