Waylun Likulli Humazatin Lumazahin |
104-001. Woe to every slanderer, defamer, |
وَيْل ٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَة ٍ لُمَزَة ٍ |
Al-Ladhī Jama`a Mālāan Wa `Addadahu |
104-002. Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); |
الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالا ً وَعَدَّدَهُ |
Yaĥsabu 'Anna Mālahu 'Akhladahu |
104-003. He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. |
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ~ُ أَخْلَدَهُ |
Kallā Layunbadhanna Fī Al-Ĥuţamahi |
104-004. Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, |
كَلاَّ لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ |
Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Al-Ĥuţamahu |
104-005. And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? |
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ |
Nāru Allāhi Al-Mūqadahu |
104-006. It is the fire kindled by Allah, |
نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ |
Allatī Taţţali`u `Alá Al-'Af'idahi |
104-007. Which rises above the hearts. |
الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الأَفْئِدَةِ |
'Innahā `Alayhim Mu'uşadahun |
104-008. Surely it shall be closed over upon them, |
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤصَدَة ٌ |
Fī `Amadin Mumaddadahin |
104-009. In extended columns. |
فِي عَمَد ٍ مُمَدَّدَة ٍ |
