Wa Ađ-Đuĥá  | 093.001 By the morning hours | وَالضُّحَى |
Wa Al-Layli 'Idhā Sajá  | 093.002 And by the night when it is stillest, | وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَى |
Mā Wadda`aka Rabbuka Wa Mā Qalá  | 093.003 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, | مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَى |
Wa Lal'ākhiratu Khayrun Laka Mina Al-'Ūlá  | 093.004 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, | وَلَلآخِرَةُ خَيْر ٌ لَكَ مِنَ الأُولَى |
Wa Lasawfa Yu`ţīka Rabbuka Fatarđá  | 093.005 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. | وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَى |
'Alam Yajidka Yatīmāan Fa'āwá  | 093.006 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee) ? | أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيما ً فَآوَى |
Wa Wajadaka Đāllāan Fahadá  | 093.007 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee) ? | وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالّا ً فَهَدَى |
Wa Wajadaka `Ā'ilāan Fa'aghná  | 093.008 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee) ? | وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلا ً فَأَغْنَى |
Fa'ammā Al-Yatīma Falā Taqhar  | 093.009 Therefor the orphan oppress not, | فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلاَ تَقْهَرْ |
Wa 'Ammā As-Sā'ila Falā Tanhar  | 093.010 Therefor the beggar drive not away, | وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلاَ تَنْهَرْ |
Wa 'Ammā Bini`mati Rabbika Faĥaddith  | 093.011 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. | وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ |
