Qul 'Ūĥiya 'Ilayya 'Annahu Astama`a Nafarun Mina Al-Jinni Faqālū 'Innā Sami`nā Qur'ānāan `Ajabāan Say (O Muhammad SAW): "It has been revealed to me that a group (from three to ten in number) of jinns listened (to this Quran). They said: 'Verily! We have heard a wonderful Recital (this Quran)! (Al-Jinn 72:1) قُ‍‍لْ ‌أ‍ُ‍‌وحِيَ ‌إِلَيَّ ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ ‌اسْتَمَعَ نَفَر‌ٌ‌ مِنَ ‌الْجِ‍‍نِّ فَ‍‍قَ‍‍الُ‍‍و‌ا‌ ‌إِنَّ‍‍ا‌ سَمِعْنَا‌ قُ‍‍رْ‌آناً‌ عَجَباً
Yahdī 'Ilá Ar-Rushdi Fa'āmannā Bihi ۖ Wa Lan Nushrika Birabbinā 'Aĥadāan 'It guides to the Right Path, and we have believed therein, and we shall never join (in worship) anything with our Lord (Allah).(Al-Jinn 72:2) يَهْدِي ‌إِلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍رُّشْدِ‌ فَآمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِ‍‍هِ ۖ ‌وَلَ‍‌‍نْ نُشْ‍‍رِكَ بِ‍رَبِّنَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَحَد‌اً
Wa 'Annahu Ta`ālá Jaddu Rabbinā Mā Attakhadha Şāĥibatan Wa Lā Waladāan 'And exalted be the Majesty of our Lord, He has taken neither a wife, nor a son (or offspring or children). (Al-Jinn 72:3) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ تَعَالَى‌ جَدُّ‌ ‌‍رَبِّنَا‌ مَا‌ ‌اتَّ‍‍خَ‍‍ذَ‌ صَ‍‍احِبَة ً‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ ‌وَلَد‌اً
Wa 'Annahu Kāna Yaqūlu Safīhunā `Alá Allāhi Shaţaţāan 'And that the foolish among us [i.e. Iblis (Satan) or the polytheists amongst the jinns] used to utter against Allah that which was wrong and not right.(Al-Jinn 72:4) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ ك‍‍َ‍انَ يَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولُ سَفِيهُنَا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ شَ‍‍طَ‍‍ط‍‍اً
Wa 'Annā Žanannā 'An Lan Taqūla Al-'Insu Wa Al-Jinnu `Alá Allāhi Kadhibāan 'And verily, we thought that men and jinns would not utter a lie against Allah. (Al-Jinn 72:5) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍ا‌ ظَ‍‍نَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ لَ‍‌‍نْ تَ‍‍قُ‍‍ولَ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍سُ ‌وَ‌الْجِ‍‍نُّ عَلَى‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ كَذِباً
Wa 'Annahu Kāna Rijālun Mina Al-'Insi Ya`ūdhūna Birijālin Mina Al-Jinni Fazādūhum Rahaqāan 'And verily, there were men among mankind who took shelter with the masculine among the jinns, but they (jinns) increased them (mankind) in sin and disbelief. (Al-Jinn 72:6) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ ك‍‍َ‍انَ ‌رِج‍‍َ‍الٌ‌ مِنَ ‌الإِ‌ن‍‍سِ يَعُو‌ذ‍ُ‍‌ونَ بِ‍‍رِج‍‍َ‍الٍ‌ مِنَ ‌الْجِ‍‍نّ‍ِ فَزَ‌ا‌دُ‌وهُمْ ‌‍رَهَ‍‍ق‍‍اً
Wa 'Annahum Žannū Kamā Žanantum 'An Lan Yab`atha Allāhu 'Aĥadāan 'And they thought as you thought, that Allah will not send any Messenger (to mankind or jinns). (Al-Jinn 72:7) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُمْ ظَ‍‍نُّ‍‍و‌ا‌ كَمَا‌ ظَ‍‍نَ‍‌‍ن‍‍تُمْ ‌أَ‌نْ لَ‍‌‍نْ يَ‍‍بْ‍‍عَثَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هُ ‌أَحَد‌اً
Wa 'Annā Lamasnā As-Samā'a Fawajadnāhā Muli'at Ĥarasāan Shadīdāan Wa Shuhubāan 'And we have sought to reach the heaven; but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. (Al-Jinn 72:8) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَمَسْنَا‌ ‌ال‍‍سَّم‍‍َ‍ا‌ءَ‌ فَوَجَ‍‍دْنَاهَا‌ مُلِئَتْ حَ‍رَسا‌‌ ً‌ شَدِيد‌ا‌ ً‌ ‌وَشُهُباً
Wa 'Annā Kunnā Naq`udu Minhā Maqā`ida Lilssam`i ۖ Faman Yastami`i Al-'Āna Yajid Lahu Shihābāan Raşadāan 'And verily, we used to sit there in stations, to (steal) a hearing, but any who listens now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush. (Al-Jinn 72:9) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍ا‌ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ نَ‍‍قْ‍‍عُدُ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ‍‍هَا‌ مَ‍‍قَ‍‍اعِدَ‌ لِلسَّمْعِ ۖ فَمَ‍‌‍نْ يَسْتَمِعِ ‌الآنَ يَجِ‍‍دْ‌ لَ‍‍هُ شِهَابا‌ ً‌ ‌‍رَصَ‍‍د‌اً
Wa 'Annā Lā Nadrī 'Asharrun 'Urīda Biman Al-'Arđi 'Am 'Arāda Bihim Rabbuhum Rashadāan 'And we know not whether evil is intended for those on earth, or whether their Lord intends for them a Right Path. (Al-Jinn 72:10) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍ا‌ لاَ‌ نَ‍‍دْ‌رِي ‌أَشَرٌّ‌ ‌أُ‌ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍دَ‌ بِمَ‍‌‍نْ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌أَمْ ‌أَ‌رَ‍‌ا‌دَ‌ بِهِمْ ‌‍رَبُّهُمْ ‌‍رَشَد‌اً
Wa 'Annā Minnā Aş-Şāliĥūna Wa Minnā Dūna Dhālika ۖ Kunnā Ţarā'iqa Qidadāan 'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary; we are groups each having a different way (religious sect, etc.). (Al-Jinn 72:11) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍ا‌ مِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌ال‍‍صَّ‍‍الِح‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَمِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌د‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌ذَلِكَ ۖ كُ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ طَ‍‍ر‍َ‍‌ائِ‍‍قَ قِ‍‍دَ‌د‌اً
Wa 'Annā Žanannā 'An Lan Nu`jiza Allāha Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Lan Nu`jizahu Harabāan 'And we think that we cannot escape (from the punishment of) Allah in the earth, nor can we escape (from the punishment) by flight. (Al-Jinn 72:12) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍ا‌ ظَ‍‍نَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌نْ لَ‍‌‍نْ نُعجِزَ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ فِي ‌الأَ‌رْ‍ضِ ‌وَلَ‍‌‍نْ نُعْجِزَهُ هَ‍رَباً
Wa 'Annā Lammā Sami`nā Al-Hudá 'Āmannā Bihi ۖ Faman Yu'umin Birabbihi Falā Yakhāfu Bakhsāan Wa Lā Rahaqāan 'And indeed when we heard the Guidance (this Quran), we believed therein (Islamic Monotheism), and whosoever believes in his Lord shall have no fear, either of a decrease in the reward of his good deeds or an increase in punishment for his sins. (Al-Jinn 72:13) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍ا‌ لَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ سَمِعْنَا‌ ‌الْهُدَ‌ى‌ ‌آمَ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ بِ‍‍هِ ۖ فَمَ‍‌‍نْ يُؤْمِ‍‌‍نْ بِ‍رَبِّ‍‍هِ فَلاَ‌ يَ‍‍خَ‍‍افُ بَ‍‍خْ‍‍سا‌ ً‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ ‌‍رَهَ‍‍ق‍‍اً
Wa 'Annā Minnā Al-Muslimūna Wa Minnā Al-Qāsiţūna ۖ Faman 'Aslama Fa'ūlā'ika Taĥarraw Rashadāan 'And of us some are Muslims (who have submitted to Allah, after listening to this Quran), and of us some are Al-Qasitun (disbelievers those who have deviated from the Right Path)'. And whosoever has embraced Islam (i.e. has become a Muslim by submitting to Allah), then such have sought the Right Path." (Al-Jinn 72:14) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍ا‌ مِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الْمُسْلِم‍‍ُ‍ونَ ‌وَمِ‍‍نَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍اسِ‍‍طُ‍‍ونَ ۖ فَمَ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَسْلَمَ فَأ‍ُ‍‌وْل‍‍َ‍ائِكَ تَحَ‍رَّ‌وْ‌ا‌ ‌‍رَشَد‌اً
Wa 'Ammā Al-Qāsiţūna Fakānū Lijahannama Ĥaţabāan And as for the Qasitun (disbelievers who deviated from the Right Path), they shall be firewood for Hell, (Al-Jinn 72:15) وَ‌أَمَّ‍‍ا‌ ‌الْ‍‍قَ‍‍اسِ‍‍طُ‍‍ونَ فَكَانُو‌ا‌ لِجَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ حَ‍‍طَ‍‍باً
Wa 'Allawi Astaqāmū `Alá Aţ-Ţarīqati L'asqaynāhum Mā'an Ghadaqāan If they (non-Muslims) had believed in Allah, and went on the Right Way (i.e. Islam) We should surely have bestowed on them water (rain) in abundance. (Al-Jinn 72:16) وَ‌أَلَّوِ‌ ‌اسْتَ‍‍قَ‍‍امُو‌ا‌ عَلَى‌ ‌ال‍‍طَّ‍‍رِي‍‍قَ‍‍ةِ لأَسْ‍‍قَ‍‍يْنَاهُمْ م‍‍َ‍ا‌ءً‌ غَ‍‍دَ‍ق‍‍اً
Linaftinahum Fīhi ۚ Wa Man Yu`riđ `An Dhikri Rabbihi Yasluk/hu `Adhābāan Şa`adāan That We might try them thereby. And whosoever turns away from the Reminder of his Lord (i.e. this Quran, and practice not its laws and orders), He will cause him to enter in a severe torment (i.e. Hell). (Al-Jinn 72:17) لِنَفْتِنَهُمْ ف‍‍ِ‍ي‍‍هِ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍نْ يُعْ‍‍رِ‍‍ضْ عَ‍‌‍نْ ‌ذِكْ‍‍ر‍ِ‍‌ ‌‍رَبِّ‍‍هِ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَ‌ابا‌‌ ًصَ‍‍عَد‌اً
Wa 'Anna Al-Masājida Lillāh Falā Tad`ū Ma`a Allāhi 'Aĥadāan And the mosques are for Allah (Alone), so invoke not anyone along with Allah. (Al-Jinn 72:18) وَ‌أَنَّ ‌الْمَسَاجِدَ‌ لِلَّهِ فَلاَ‌ تَ‍‍دْعُو‌ا‌ مَعَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌أَحَد‌اً
Wa 'Annahu Lammā Qāma `Abdu Allāhi Yad`ūhu Kādū Yakūnūna `Alayhi Libadāan (It has been revealed to me that) When the slave of Allah (Muhammad SAW) stood up invoking (his Lord Allah) in prayer to Him they (the jinns) just made round him a dense crowd as if sticking one over the other (in order to listen to the Prophet's recitation). (Al-Jinn 72:19) وَ‌أَنَّ‍‍هُ لَ‍‍مَّ‍‍ا‌ قَ‍‍امَ عَ‍‍بْ‍‍دُ‌ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ يَ‍‍دْع‍‍ُ‍وهُ كَا‌دُ‌و‌ا‌ يَكُون‍‍ُ‍ونَ عَلَ‍‍يْ‍‍هِ لِبَد‌اً
Qul 'Innamā 'AdRabbī Wa Lā 'Ushriku Bihi~ 'Aĥadāan Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I invoke only my Lord (Allah Alone), and I associate none as partners along with Him." (Al-Jinn 72:20) قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنَّ‍‍مَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَ‌دْعُو‌ ‌‍رَبِّي ‌وَلاَ‌ ‌أُشْ‍‍رِكُ بِهِ~‍ِ ‌أَحَد‌اً
Qul 'Innī Lā 'Amliku Lakum Đaran Wa Lā Rashadāan Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to the Right Path." (Al-Jinn 72:21) قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي لاَ‌ ‌أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَ‍‍رّ‌ا‌ ً‌ ‌وَلاَ‌ ‌‍رَشَد‌اً
Qul 'Innī Lan Yujīranī Mina Allāhi 'Aĥadun Wa Lan 'Ajida Min Dūnihi Multaĥadāan Say (O Muhammad SAW): "None can protect me from Allah's punishment (if I were to disobey Him), nor should I find refuge except in Him. (Al-Jinn 72:22) قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِنِّ‍‍ي لَ‍‌‍نْ يُجِي‍رَنِي مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌أَحَد‌ٌ‌ ‌وَلَ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَجِدَ‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌دُ‌ونِ‍‍هِ مُلْتَحَد‌اً
'Illā Balāghāan Mina Allāhi Wa Risālātihi ۚ Wa Man Ya`şi Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Fa'inna Lahu Nāra Jahannama Khālidīna Fīhā 'Abadāan "(Mine is) but conveyance (of the truth) from Allah and His Messages (of Islamic Monotheism), and whosoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, then verily, for him is the Fire of Hell, he shall dwell therein forever." (Al-Jinn 72:23) إِلاَّ‌ بَلاَ‍‍غ‍‍ا‌ ً‌ مِنَ ‌اللَّ‍‍هِ ‌وَ‌رِسَالاَتِ‍‍هِ ۚ ‌وَمَ‍‌‍نْ يَعْ‍‍صِ ‌اللَّ‍‍هَ ‌وَ‌‍رَسُولَ‍‍هُ فَإِنَّ لَ‍‍هُ ن‍‍َ‍ا‌‍رَ‌ جَهَ‍‍نَّ‍‍مَ خَ‍‍الِد‍ِ‍ي‍‍نَ فِيهَ‍‍ا‌ ‌أَبَد‌اً
Ĥattá 'Idhā Ra'aw Mā Yū`adūna Fasaya`lamūna Man 'Ađ`afu Nāşirāan Wa 'Aqallu `Adadāan Till, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who it is that is weaker concerning helpers and less important concerning numbers. (Al-Jinn 72:24) حَتَّ‍‍ى‌ ‌إِ‌ذَ‌ا‌ ‌‍رَ‌أَ‌وْ‌ا‌ مَا‌ يُوعَد‍ُ‍‌ونَ فَسَيَعْلَم‍‍ُ‍ونَ مَ‍‌‍نْ ‌أَ‍ضْ‍‍عَفُ نَاصِ‍‍ر‌ا‌ ً‌ ‌وَ‌أَ‍قَ‍‍لُّ عَدَ‌د‌اً
Qul 'In 'Adrī 'Aqarībun Mā Tū`adūna 'Am Yaj`alu Lahu Rabbī 'Amadāan Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I know not whether (the punishment) which you are promised is near or whether my Lord will appoint for it a distant term. (Al-Jinn 72:25) قُ‍‍لْ ‌إِ‌نْ ‌أَ‌دْ‌رِي ‌أَ‍قَ‍‍ر‍ِ‍ي‍‍بٌ‌ مَا‌ تُوعَد‍ُ‍‌ونَ ‌أَمْ يَ‍‍جْ‍‍عَلُ لَ‍‍هُ ‌‍رَبِّ‍‍ي‍ ‌أَمَد‌اً
`Ālimu Al-Ghaybi Falā Yužhiru `Alá Ghaybihi~ 'Aĥadāan "(He Alone) the All-Knower of the Gha'ib (unseen), and He reveals to none His Gha'ib (unseen)." (Al-Jinn 72:26) عَالِمُ ‌الْ‍‍غَ‍‍يْ‍‍بِ فَلاَ‌ يُ‍‍ظْ‍‍هِ‍‍ر‍ُ‍‌ عَلَى‌ غَ‍‍يْبِهِ~‍ِ ‌أَحَد‌اً
'Illā Mani Artađá Min Rasūlin Fa'innahu Yasluku Min Bayni Yadayhi Wa Min Khalfihi Raşadāan |Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him. (Al-Jinn 72:27) إِلاَّ‌ مَنِ ‌ا‌رْتَ‍‍ضَ‍‍ى‌ مِ‍‌‍نْ ‌‍رَس‍‍ُ‍ول‌‍ٍ‌ فَإِنَّ‍‍هُ يَسْلُكُ مِ‍‌‍نْ بَ‍‍يْ‍‍نِ يَدَيْ‍‍هِ ‌وَمِ‍‌‍نْ خَ‍‍لْفِ‍‍هِ ‌‍رَصَ‍‍د‌اً
Liya`lama 'An Qad 'Ablaghū Risālāti Rabbihim Wa 'Aĥāţa Bimā Ladayhim Wa 'Aĥşá Kulla Shay'in `Adadāan [He (Allah) protects them (the Messengers)], till He sees that they (the Messengers) have conveyed the Messages of their Lord (Allah). And He (Allah) surrounds all that which is with them, and He (Allah) keeps count of all things (i.e. He knows the exact number of everything). (Al-Jinn 72:28) لِيَعْلَمَ ‌أَ‌نْ قَ‍‍دْ‌ ‌أَبْ‍‍لَ‍‍غُ‍‍و‌ا‌رِسَالاَتِ ‌‍رَبِّهِمْ ‌وَ‌أَح‍‍َ‍اطَ بِمَا‌ لَدَيْهِمْ ‌وَ‌أَحْ‍‍صَ‍‍ى‌ كُلَّ شَ‍‍يْءٍ‌ عَدَ‌د‌اً
