| Wa Al-`Aşri | By the time through the ages![103.1] | وَالْعَصْرِ |
| 'Inna Al-'Insāna Lafī Khusrin | Surely mankind is in loss,[103.2] | إِنَّ الإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ |
| 'Illā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Wa Tawāşaw Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Tawāşaw Biş-Şabri | except those who believe and do good deeds; exhort one another to the truth and exhort one another to patience.[103.3] | إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ |
