98) Sūrat Al-Bayyinah | Printed format | 98) سُورَة البَيِّنَه |
| Lam Yakuni Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi Wa Al-Mushrikīna Munfakkīna Ĥattá Ta'tiyahumu Al-Bayyinahu | Those who are unbelievers from among the people of the Book and from the Mushrikïn were not going to desist from their unbelief until the clear proof came to them,[98.1] | لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ |
| Rasūlun Mina Al-Lahi Yatlū Şuĥufāan Muţahharahan | that is, a Rasool of Allah reciting to them holy scriptures from purified pages[98.2] | رَسُولٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ يَتْلُوا صُحُفاً مُطَهَّرَةً |
| Fīhā Kutubun Qayyimahun | containing infallible books.[98.3] | فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ |
| Wa Mā Tafarraqa Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba 'Illā Min Ba`di Mā Jā'at/humu Al-Bayyinahu | Those who were given the Book before this (Qur’an) did not divide into sects until after there came to them a clear proof.[98.4] | وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلاَّ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ |
| Wa Mā 'Umirū 'Illā Liya`budū Al-Laha Mukhlişīna Lahu Ad-Dīna Ĥunafā'a Wa Yuqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa Yu'utū Az-Zakāata Wa Dhalika Dīnu Al-Qayyimahi | Yet they were commanded nothing but to worship Allah, with their sincere devotion to Him, being True in their faith; to establish Salah ( prayers); and to pay Zakah (poor due); and that is the infallible true Religion.[98.5] | وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلاَّ لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ |
| 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi Wa Al-Mushrikīna Fī Nāri Jahannama Khālidīna Fīhā 'Ūlā'ika Hum Sharru Al-Barīyahi | Surely those who disbelieve from among the people of the Book and the Mushrikïn shall be in fire of hell, to dwell therein forever. They are the worst of all creatures.[98.6] | إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أُوْلَائِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِيَّةِ |
| 'Inna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti 'Ūlā'ika Hum Khayru Al-Barīyahi | Surely those who believe and do good deeds, are the best of all creatures.[98.7] | إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُوْلَائِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ |
| Jazā'uuhum `Inda Rabbihim Jannātu `Adnin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā 'Abadāan Rađiya Al-Lahu `Anhum Wa Rađū `Anhu Dhālika Liman Khashiya Rabbahu | Their reward with their Rabb shall be the gardens of Eden, beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever. Allah shall be well pleased with them and they shall be well pleased with Him. That is for him who fears his Rabb.[98.8] | جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَداً رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ |
