| Sabbiĥi Asma Rabbika Al-'A`lá    | Glorify the name of your Rabb, the Most High,[87.1] | سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى | 
   | Al-Ladhī Khalaqa Fasawwá    | Who has created all things and perfected them.[87.2] | الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّى | 
   | Wa Al-Ladhī Qaddara Fahadá    | Who has set their destinies and guided them.[87.3] | وَالَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَى | 
   | Wa Al-Ladhī 'Akhraja Al-Mar`á    | Who brings forth green pasture,[87.4] | وَالَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعَى | 
   | Faja`alahu Ghuthā'an 'Aĥwá    | then reduces it to black rubbish.[87.5] | فَجَعَلَهُُغُثَاءً أَحْوَى | 
   | Sanuqri'uka Falā Tansá    | Soon We shall make you recite Our revelations so you shall forget none of them[87.6] | سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلاَ تَنسَى | 
   | 'Illā Mā Shā'a Al-Lahu 'Innahu Ya`lamu Al-Jahra Wa Mā Yakhfá    | except what Allah wills. Surely He knows what is open and what is hidden.[87.7] | إِلاَّ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ إِنَّهُُيَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَى | 
   |  Wa Nuyassiruka Lilyusrá    | We shall make it easy for you to follow the easy way.[87.8] | وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَى | 
   | Fadhakkir 'In Nafa`ati Adh-Dhikrá    | Therefore remind, surely reminder does benefit.[87.9] | فَذَكِّرْ إِنْ نَفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَى | 
   | Sayadhdhakkaru Man Yakhshá    | He who fears Allah will heed the reminder,[87.10] | سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنْ يَخْشَى | 
   |  Wa Yatajannabuhā Al-'Ashqá    | and he who is unfortunate will avoid it.[87.11] | وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الأَشْقَى | 
   | Al-Ladhī Yaşlá An-Nāra Al-Kubrá    | The one who will avoid, shall burn in the gigantic fire,[87.12] | الَّذِي يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرَى | 
   | Thumma Lā Yamūtu Fīhā Wa Lā Yaĥyā    | where he shall neither die nor live.[87.13] | ثُمَّ لاَ يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلاَ يَحْيَا | 
   | Qad 'Aflaĥa Man Tazakká    | The one who will take admonition and purify himself shall be successful,[87.14] | قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ تَزَكَّى | 
   |  Wa Dhakara Asma Rabbihi Faşallá    | who remembers the name of his Rabb and prays.[87.15] | وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِِ فَصَلَّى | 
   | Bal Tu'uthirūna Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā    | But O men! You prefer the life of this world;[87.16] | بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا | 
   | Wa Al-'Ākhiratu Khayrun Wa 'Abqá    | while the Hereafter is better and everlasting.[87.17] | وَالآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى | 
   | 'Inna Hādhā Lafī Aş-Şuĥufi Al-'Ūlá    | Surely the same was said in the earlier scriptures;[87.18] | إِنَّ هَذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الأُولَى | 
   | Şuĥufi 'Ibrāhīma Wa Mūsá    | the scriptures of Ibrمhïm (Abraham) and Musa (Moses).[87.19] | صُحُفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَى |
