84) Sūrat Al-'Inshiqāq | Printed format | 84) سُورَة الإنشِقَاق |
| 'Idhā As-Samā'u Anshaqqat | When heaven will split asunder,[84.1] | إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انشَقَّتْ |
| Wa 'Adhinat Lirabbihā Wa Ĥuqqat | obeying it Rabb’s command as it ought to.[84.2] | وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā Al-'Arđu Muddat | When the earth will spread out[84.3] | وَإِذَا الأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ |
| Wa 'Alqat Mā Fīhā Wa Takhallat | and cast out all that is within it and becomes empty,[84.4] | وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ |
| Wa 'Adhinat Lirabbihā Wa Ĥuqqat | obeying it Rabb’s command as it ought to.[84.5] | وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-'Insānu 'Innaka Kādiĥun 'Ilá Rabbika Kadĥāan Famulāqīhi | That will be the Day of your accountability, O mankind! Surely you must strive towards your Rabb, a hard striving, then you shall meet Him.[84.6] | يَاأَيُّهَا الإِنسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَى رَبِّكَ كَدْحاً فَمُلاَقِيهِ |
| Fa'ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Biyamīnihi | Then he who will be given his Book of deeds in his right hand,[84.7] | فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُُبِيَمِينِهِ |
| Fasawfa Yuĥāsabu Ĥisābāan Yasīrāan | shall have a quick and easy reckoning[84.8] | فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَاباً يَسِيراً |
| Wa Yanqalibu 'Ilá 'Ahlihi Masrūrāan | and shall return to his people rejoicing.[84.9] | وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَى أَهْلِهِِ مَسْرُوراً |
| Wa 'Ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Warā'a Žahrihi | But he who will be given his book of deeds from behind his back,[84.10] | وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُُوَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ |
| Fasawfa Yad`ū Thubūrāan | shall soon be calling for death,[84.11] | فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُو ثُبُوراً |
| Wa Yaşlá Sa`īrāan | and shall be made to enter a blazing fire;[84.12] | وَيَصْلَى سَعِيراً |
| 'Innahu Kāna Fī 'Ahlihi Masrūrāan | for he used to live happily with his kinfolks[84.13] | إِنَّهُُكَانَ فِي أَهْلِهِِ مَسْرُوراً |
| 'Innahu Žanna 'An Lan Yaĥūra | and thought that he would never return to Allah for accountability.[84.14] | إِنَّهُُظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ يَحُورَ |
| Balá 'Inna Rabbahu Kāna Bihi Başīrāan | Yet, surely his Rabb was ever watching over his misdeeds.[84.15] | بَلَى إِنَّ رَبَّهُُكَانَ بِهِِ بَصِيراً |
| Falā 'Uqsimu Bish-Shafaqi | I swear by the glow of sunset;[84.16] | فَلاَ أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ |
| Wa Al-Layli Wa Mā Wasaqa | by the night and all that it gathers together;[84.17] | وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ |
| Wa Al-Qamari 'Idhā Attasaqa | by the moon, when she grows full:[84.18] | وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ |
| Latarkabunna Ţabaqāan `An Ţabaqin | that you shall gradually pass from one stage to another.[84.19] | لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقاً عَنْ طَبَقٍ |
| Famā Lahum Lā Yu'uminūna | What is the matter with the people that they do not believe,[84.20] | فَمَا لَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ |
| Wa 'Idhā Quri'a `Alayhimu Al-Qur'ānu Lā Yasjudūna | and when the Qur’an is recited to them, they do not prostrate?[84.21] | وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لاَ يَسْجُدُونَ |
| Bali Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yukadhdhibūna | Nay! The unbelievers will deny;[84.22] | بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُكَذِّبُونَ |
| Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Yū`ūna | and Allah knows what they are hiding in their hearts.[84.23] | وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ |
| Fabashshirhum Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin | Therefore, proclaim to them a painful punishment,[84.24] | فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ |
| 'Illā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum 'Ajrun Ghayru Mamnūnin | except those who embrace the true faith and do good deeds; for them there will be a never ending reward.[84.25] | إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ |
