82) Sūrat Al-'Infiţār | Printed format | 82) سُورَة الإنفِطَار |
| 'Idhā As-Samā'u Anfaţarat | When the heaven will cleft asunder;[82.1] | إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انفَطَرَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā Al-Kawākibu Antatharat | when the stars will scatter;[82.2] | وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā Al-Biĥāru Fujjirat | when the oceans will be torn apart;[82.3] | وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ |
| Wa 'Idhā Al-Qubūru Bu`thirat | and when the graves will be laid open:[82.4] | وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ |
| `Alimat Nafsun Mā Qaddamat Wa 'Akhkharat | then each soul shall know what it has sent forth and what it left behind.[82.5] | عَلِمَتْ نَفْس ٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ |
| Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-'Insānu Mā Gharraka Birabbika Al-Karīmi | O man! What has lured you away from your gracious Rabb,[82.6] | يَاأَيُّهَا الإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ |
| Al-Ladhī Khalaqaka Fasawwāka Fa`adalaka | Who created you, fashioned you, proportioned you,[82.7] | الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ |
| Fī 'Ayyi Şūratin Mā Shā'a Rakkabaka | and molded you in whatever form He pleased?[82.8] | فِي أَيِّ صُورَة ٍ مَا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ |
| Kallā Bal Tukadhdhibūna Bid-Dīni | Nay! In fact you deny the Day of Judgment![82.9] | كَلاَّ بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ |
| Wa 'Inna `Alaykum Laĥāfižīna | You should know that guardian angels have indeed been appointed over you,[82.10] | وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ |
| Kirāmāan Kātibīna | who are noble writers,[82.11] | كِرَاما ً كَاتِبِينَ |
| Ya`lamūna Mā Taf`alūna | they know all that you do.[82.12] | يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ |
| 'Inna Al-'Abrāra Lafī Na`īmin | On that Day the righteous will surely be in bliss;[82.13] | إِنَّ الأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيم ٍ |
| Wa 'Inna Al-Fujjāra Lafī Jaĥīmin | while the wicked will indeed go to hell,[82.14] | وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيم ٍ |
| Yaşlawnahā Yawma Ad-Dīni | they shall enter it on the Day of Judgment,[82.15] | يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ |
| Wa Mā Hum `Anhā Bighā'ibīna | and they shall not be able to escape from it.[82.16] | وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ |
| Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Yawmu Ad-Dīni | What will explain to you what the Day of Judgment is?[82.17] | وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ |
| Thumma Mā 'Adrāka Mā Yawmu Ad-Dīni | Again, what will explain to you what the Day of Judgment is?[82.18] | ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ |
| Yawma Lā Tamliku Nafsun Linafsin Shay'āan Wa Al-'Amru Yawma'idhin Lillahi | It will be the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another: for, on that Day, Allah shall keep the entire command to Himself.[82.19] | يَوْمَ لاَ تَمْلِكُ نَفْس ٌ لِنَفْس ٍ شَيْئا ً وَالأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذ ٍ لِلَّهِ |
