   | Wa Law 'Alqá Ma`ādhīrahu | even though he shall plead with excuses.[75.15] |
   | Lā Tuĥarrik Bihi Lisānaka Lita`jala Bihi | O Prophet, do not move your tongue too fast to memorize this revelation,[75.16] |
   | 'Inna `Alaynā Jam`ahu Wa Qur'ānahu | It is Our responsibility to collect it in your memory, and make you recite it[75.17] | إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُُوَقُرْآنَهُ |
   | Fa'idhā Qara'nāhu Fa Attabi` Qur'ānahu | and when it is recited, to make you follow it,[75.18] | فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُُفَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ |
   | Thumma 'Inna `Alaynā Bayānahu | and then it is Our responsibility to explain it.[75.19] | ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ |
   | Kallā Bal Tuĥibbūna Al-`Ājilaha | - Nay, the fact is that you people love this fleeting life[75.20] | كَلاَّ بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ |
   | Wa Tadharūna Al-'Ākhiraha | and are heedless of the Hereafter.[75.21] |

   | Tažunnu 'An Yuf`ala Bihā Fāqirahun | thinking that some backbreaking calamity is about to be inflicted on them.[75.25] | تَظُنُّ أَنْ يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ |
   | Kallā 'Idhā Balaghati At-Tarāqī | Nay, when a man’s soul is about to leave and reaches to the throat,[75.26] |
   | Wa Qīla Man Rāqin | and those around him cry: “Is there any enchanter to help?"[75.27] | وَقِيلَ مَنْ رَاقٍ |
   | Wa Žanna 'Annahu Al-Firāqu | Then man will conclude that it was the time of departure from this world.[75.28] | وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُ |
   | Wa Altaffati As-Sāqu Bis-Sāqi | while one leg will twist around the other leg (agony will heap on agony);[75.29] |
   | 'Ilá Rabbika Yawma'idhin Al-Masāqu | that will be the Day of driving towards your Rabb.[75.30] |
   | Falā Şaddaqa Wa Lā Şallá | But in this life he neither believed, nor offered Salah (prayed);[75.31] |

   | 'Alam Yaku Nuţfatan Min Manīyin Yumná | Was he not once a drop of emitted semen?[75.37] |
   | Thumma Kāna `Alaqatan Fakhalaqa Fasawwá | Then he became a leechlike mass, then Allah created him and fashioned him in due proportion,[75.38] |
