Al-Ĥamdu Lillahi Fāţiri As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Jā`ili Al-Malā'ikati Rusulāan 'Ūlī 'Ajniĥatin Mathná Wa Thulātha Wa Rubā`a Yazīdu Fī Al-Khalqi Mā Yashā'u 'Inna Al-Laha `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun Praise be to Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth! Who appoints the angels having two, three and four pairs of wings as His messengers. He adds to His creation as He pleases; for Allah has power over all things.[35.1]
Mā Yaftaĥi Al-Lahu Lilnnāsi Min Raĥmatin Falā Mumsika Lahā Wa Mā Yumsik Falā Mursila Lahu Min Ba`dihi Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu None can withhold the blessings which He bestows on people and none can award besides Him what He withholds. He is the Mighty, the Wise.[35.2]
Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu Adhkurū Ni`mata Al-Lahi `Alaykum Hal Min Khāliqin Ghayru Al-Lahi Yarzuqukum Mina As-Samā'i Wa Al-'Arđi Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Fa'anná Tu'ufakūna O mankind! Call to mind the favors of Allah on you; is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heavens and the earth? There is no god but He. How then are you being deceived?[35.3] ~
Wa 'In Yukadhdhibūka Faqad Kudhdhibat Rusulun Min Qablika Wa 'Ilá Al-Lahi Turja`u Al-'Umūru O Prophet! If they deny you, so were the Rasools denied before you. All affairs shall ultimately be presented before Allah.[35.4]
Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu 'Inna Wa`da Al-Lahi Ĥaqqun Falā Taghurrannakumu Al-Ĥayā Atu Ad-Dunyā Wa Lā Yaghurrannakum Bil-Lahi Al-Gharūru O mankind! Certainly the promise of Allah is true, therefore let not the life of this world deceive you nor let the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allah.[35.5]
'Inna Ash-Shayţāna Lakum `Adūwun Fa Attakhidhūhu `Adūwāan 'Innamā Yad`ū Ĥizbahu Liyakūnū Min 'Aşĥābi As-Sa`īri Surely Shaitn (Satan) is your enemy: so take him as an enemy. He is inviting his adherents towards his way so that they may become companions of the blazing fire.[35.6]
Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lahum `Adhābun Shadīdun Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum Maghfiratun Wa 'Ajrun Kabīrun Those who disbelieve shall have a terrible punishment, and those who believe and do good deeds shall have forgiveness and a magnificent reward.[35.7]
'Afaman Zuyyina Lahu Sū'u `Amalihi Fara'āhu Ĥasanāan Fa'inna Al-Laha Yuđillu Man Yashā'u Wa Yahdī Man Yashā'u Falā Tadh/hab Nafsuka `Alayhim Ĥasarātin 'Inna Al-Laha `Alīmun Bimā Yaşna`ūna Can that person be guided whose evil deeds are so fair seeming to him that he considers them good? The fact is that Allah leaves to stray whom He wills and guides whom He pleases. Therefore, O Prophet, let not your soul expire in sorrow on their account. Allah is aware of all their actions.[35.8]
Wa Allāhu Al-Ladhī 'Arsala Ar-Riyāĥa Fatuthīru Saĥābāan Fasuqnāhu 'Ilá Baladin Mayyitin Fa'aĥyaynā Bihi Al-'Arđa Ba`da Mawtihā Kadhālika An-Nushūru It is Allah Who sends forth winds to raise up the clouds, then drives them to a dead land and therewith revives the earth after its death. Similar will be the resurrection of the dead.[35.9] ~
Man Kāna Yurīdu Al-`Izzata Falillāhi Al-`Izzatu Jamī`āan 'Ilayhi Yaş`adu Al-Kalimu Aţ-Ţayyibu Wa Al-`Amalu Aş-Şāliĥu Yarfa`uhu Wa Al-Ladhīna Yamkurūna As-Sayyi'āti Lahum `Adhābun Shadīdun Wa Makru 'Ūlā'ika Huwa Yabūru If anyone is seeking honor, let him know that all honor belongs to Allah Alone. Good words ascend to Him and good deeds are exalted by Him. As for those who plan evil deeds, they shall have severe punishment and their plots will be brought to nothing.[35.10]
Wa Allāhu Khalaqakum Min Turābin Thumma Min Nuţfatin Thumma Ja`alakum 'Azwājāan Wa Mā Taĥmilu Min 'Unthá Wa Lā Tađa`u 'Illā Bi`ilmihi Wa Mā Yu`ammaru Min Mu`ammarin Wa Lā Yunqaşu Min `Umurihi 'Illā Fī Kitābin 'Inna Dhālika `Alá Al-Lahi Yasīrun It is Allah Who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then He made you pairs. No female conceives or delivers without His knowledge. No long-lived man grows old or has his life cut short but is written in a Book; surely all this is easy for Allah.[35.11] ~
Wa Mā Yastawī Al-Baĥrāni Hādhā `Adhbun Furātun Sā'ighun Sharābuhu Wa Hadhā Milĥun 'Ujājun Wa Min Kullin Ta'kulūna Laĥmāan Ţarīyāan Wa Tastakhrijūna Ĥilyatan Talbasūnahā Wa Tará Al-Fulka Fīhi Mawākhira Litabtaghū Min Fađlihi Wa La`allakum Tashkurūna The two bodies of water, of which one is sweet and pleasant to drink and the other is salty and bitter, are not alike. Yet from each kind of water you eat fresh meat and extract ornaments which you wear; and you see the ships plough their course through them to seek the bounty of Allah, that you may be grateful.[35.12]
Yūliju Al-Layla Fī An-Nahāri Wa Yūliju An-Nahāra Fī Al-Layli Wa Sakhkhara Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Kullun Yajrī Li'jalin Musammáan Dhalikumu Al-Lahu Rabbukum Lahu Al-Mulku Wa Al-Ladhīna Tad`ūna Min Dūnihi Mā Yamlikūna Min Qiţmīrin He causes the night to pass into the day and the day into the night, and He has made the sun and the moon to serve you; each one follows its course for an appointed term. Such is Allah, your Rabb; His is the kingdom; and those to whom you pray besides Him do not even own a thread of a date-stone.[35.13]
'In Tad`ūhum Lā Yasma`ū Du`ā'akum Wa Law Sami`ū Mā Astajābū Lakum Wa Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Yakfurūna Bishirkikum Wa Lā Yunabbi'uka Mithlu Khabīrin If you pray to them they cannot hear your prayers and even if they could hear you they could not answer you. On the Day of Resurrection they will deny your associating them with Allah. O mankind! None can inform you about all this except the One Who is All-Aware.[35.14]
Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu 'Antumu Al-Fuqarā'u 'Ilá Al-Lahi Wa Allāhu Huwa Al-Ghanīyu Al-Ĥamīdu O mankind! It is you who stand in need of Allah, and it is Allah Who is Free of all wants, Worthy of all praise.[35.15]
'In Yasha' Yudh/hibkum Wa Ya'ti Bikhalqin Jadīdin If He wants, He can destroy you and replace you with a new creation;[35.16]
Wa Mā Dhālika `Alá Al-Lahi Bi`azīzin and this is not at all difficult for Allah.[35.17]
Wa Lā Taziru Wāziratun Wizra 'Ukhrá Wa 'In Tad`u Muthqalatun 'Ilá Ĥimlihā Lā Yuĥmal Minhu Shay'un Wa Law Kāna Dhā Qurbá 'Innamā Tundhiru Al-Ladhīna Yakhshawna Rabbahum Bil-Ghaybi Wa 'Aqāmū Aş-Şalāata Wa Man Tazakká Fa'innamā Yatazakká Linafsihi Wa 'Ilá Al-Lahi Al-Maşīru No bearer of a burden will bear anothers burden, and if a heavy laden person cries out for help, none will come forward to share the least of his burden, even though he be a close relative. O Prophet! You can only admonish those who fear their Rabb - though they cannot see Him - and establish Salah. He that purifies himself does so for his own good. To Allah is the destination of all.[35.18]
Wa Mā Yastawī Al-'A`má Wa Al-Başīru The blind and the seeing are not alike;[35.19]
Wa Lā Až-Žulumātu Wa Lā An-Nūr nor the darkness and the Light;[35.20]
Wa Lā Až-Žillu Wa Lā Al-Ĥarūru nor the shade and the heat;[35.21]
Wa Mā Yastawī Al-'Aĥyā'u Wa Lā Al-'Amwātu 'Inna Al-Laha Yusmi`u Man Yashā'u Wa Mā 'Anta Bimusmi`in Man Al-Qubūri nor the living and the dead. Certainly Allah can make anyone hear if He so wills; but, O Prophet, you cannot make those who are in the graves hear you.[35.22]
'In 'Anta 'Illā Nadhīrun You are nothing but a Warner.[35.23]
'Innā 'Arsalnāka Bil-Ĥaqqi Bashīrāan Wa Nadhīrāan Wa 'In Min 'Ummatin 'Illā Khalā Fīhā Nadhīrun Certainly We have sent you (O Muhammad) with the Truth as a bearer of good news and as a Warner, for there has not been a nation which has not had a Warner.[35.24]
Wa 'In Yukadhdhibūka Faqad Kadhdhaba Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Jā'at/hum Rusuluhum Bil-Bayyināti Wa Biz-Zuburi Wa Bil-Kitābi Al-Munīri If they disbelieve you, know that their predecessors also disbelieved their Rasools who came to them with clear signs, scriptures and the light-giving Book.[35.25]
Thumma 'Akhadhtu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Fakayfa Kāna Nakīri But in the end I seized the disbelievers, and behold, how terrible was My disapproval![35.26]
'Alam Tará 'Anna Al-Laha 'Anzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fa'akhrajnā Bihi Thamarātin Mukhtalifāan 'Alwānuhā Wa Mina Al-Jibāli Judadun Bīđun Wa Ĥumrun Mukhtalifun 'Alwānuhā Wa Gharābību Sūdun Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky with which We bring forth fruits of various colors? Similarly, in the mountains there are streaks of various shades including white, red, jet-black rocks.[35.27]
Wa Mina An-Nāsi Wa Ad-Dawābbi Wa Al-'An`ām Mukhtalifun 'Alwānuhu Kadhālika 'Innamā Yakhshá Al-Laha Min `Ibādihi Al-`Ulamā'u 'Inna Al-Laha `Azīzun Ghafūrun Likewise men, beasts and cattle have their different colors. In fact, only those among His servants who possess knowledge fear Allah; surely Allah is All-Mighty, All-Forgiving.[35.28]
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yatlūna Kitāba Al-Lahi Wa 'Aqāmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Anfaqū Mimmā Razaqnāhum Sirrāan Wa `Alāniyatan Yarjūna Tijāratan Lan Tabūra Surely those who recite the Book of Allah, establish Salah, spend out of what We have given them, secretly and openly, may hope for imperishable gain.[35.29]
Liyuwaffiyahum 'Ujūrahum Wa Yazīdahum Min Fađlihi 'Innahu Ghafūrun Shakūrun That He may pay them back their full reward and give them even more out of His grace; surely He is Forgiving and Appreciative of His devotees.[35.30] ~
Wa Al-Ladhī 'Awĥaynā 'Ilayka Mina Al-Kitābi Huwa Al-Ĥaqqu Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi 'Inna Al-Laha Bi`ibādihi Lakhabīrun Başīrun O Prophet, what We have revealed to you of the Book is the Truth, which confirms the previous scriptures. Surely, with respect to His servants, Allah is well Aware and fully Observant.[35.31]
Thumma 'Awrath Al-Kitāba Al-Ladhīna Aşţafaynā Min `Ibādinā Faminhum Žālimun Linafsihi Wa Minhum Muqtaşidun Wa Minhum Sābiqun Bil-Khayrāti Bi'idhni Al-Lahi Dhālika Huwa Al-Fađlu Al-Kabīru We have given the Book as an inheritance to those of Our servants (Muslims) whom We have chosen, among them there are some who wrong their own souls, some follow a middle course and some, by Allahs leave, excel in good deeds; which is the supreme virtue.[35.32]
Jannātu `Adnin Yadkhulūnahā Yuĥallawna Fīhā Min 'Asāwira Min Dhahabin Wa Lu'ulu'uāan Wa Libāsuhum Fīhā Ĥarīrun They shall enter the gardens of Eden, where they shall be decked with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their dress therein will be of silk.[35.33]
Wa Qālū Al-Ĥamdu Lillahi Al-Ladhī 'Adh/haba `Annā Al-Ĥazana 'Inna Rabbanā Laghafūrun Shakūrun They will say: Praise be to Allah Who has removed all sorrow from us; Our Rabb is indeed Forgiving and appreciative of His devotees,[35.34]
Al-Ladhī 'Aĥallanā Dāra Al-Muqāmati Min Fađlihi Lā Yamassunā Fīhā Naşabun Wa Lā Yamassunā Fīhā Lughūbun Who has admitted us to this Eternal Home out of His bounty, wherein we neither experience any toil nor sense of any weariness."[35.35]
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lahum Nāru Jahannama Lā Yuqđá `Alayhim Fayamūtū Wa Lā Yukhaffafu `Anhum Min `Adhābihā Kadhālika Najzī Kulla Kafūrin As for the disbelievers, there shall be the fire of hell, no term shall be determined for them so that they could die nor shall its punishment be ever lightened for them. Thus shall We reward every disbeliever.[35.36]
Wa Hum Yaşţarikhūna Fīhā Rabbanā 'Akhrijnā Na`mal Şāliĥāan Ghayra Al-Ladhī Kunnā Na`malu 'Awalam Nu`ammirkum Mā Yatadhakkaru Fīhi Man Tadhakkara Wa Jā'akumu An-Nadhīru Fadhūqū Famā Lilžžālimīna Min Naşīr Therein they shall cry for help: Our Rabb! Get us out, from now on we shall do good deeds and shall not repeat the ones we used to do. The response will be: Did we not give you lives long enough so that he who would, could take a warning? Besides, someone did come to warn you. Now taste the fruit of your deeds, here there is no helper for the wrongdoers."[35.37]
'Inna Al-Laha `Ālimu Ghaybi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi 'Innahu `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri Surely Allah knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth, He even knows the secrets of the breasts (hidden thoughts of people).[35.38]

Whoever disbelieves, bears the burden of his disbelief; and for the disbelievers their disbelief does not increase anything except the wrath of their Rabb and the disbelievers do not gain anything except an increase in their loss.[35.39]
Qul 'Ara'aytum Shurakā'akumu Al-Ladhīna Tad`ūna Min Dūni Al-Lahi 'Arūnī Mādhā Khalaqū Mina Al-'Arđi 'Am Lahum Shirkun As-Samāwāti 'Am 'Ātaynāhum Kitābāan Fahum `Alá Bayyinatin Minhu Bal 'In Ya`idu Až-Žālimūna Ba`đuhum Ba`đāan 'Illā Ghurūrāan O Prophet, say: Have you ever considered your associate gods to whom you call upon besides Allah? Show me anything that they have created in the earth! Or what is their share in the creation of the heavens? Or have We given them a Book from which they derive a provision of shirk? Nay, in fact the wrongdoers promise each other nothing but delusions.[35.40]
'Inna Al-Laha Yumsiku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa 'An Tazūlā Wa La'in Zālatā 'In 'Amsakahumā Min 'Aĥadin Min Ba`dihi 'Innahu Kāna Ĥalīmāan Ghafūrāan It is Allah Who keeps the heavens and the earth from slipping out of their places. Should they ever slip, none can hold them back besides Him; certainly He is Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.[35.41] ~

Astikbārāan Al-'Arđi Wa Makra As-Sayyi'i Wa Lā Yaĥīqu Al-Makru As-Sayyi'u 'Illā Bi'ahlihi Fahal Yanžurūna 'Illā Sunnata Al-'Awwalīna Falan Tajida Lisunnati Al-Lahi Tabdīlāan Wa Lan Tajida Lisunnati Al-Lahi Taĥwīlāan behaving arrogantly in the land and plotting evil, whereas the plotting of evil recoils none but the authors of it. Are they awaiting for that end which overtook the former nations? If so, you shall find no change in the ways of Allah, nor will you find any alteration in Allahs way of dealing.[35.43]

There is nothing in the heavens or in the earth which can frustrate Allah; surely He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.[35.44]
