Good is the reward for such righteous people in this world and the home of the hereafter will be even better. How splendid will be the home for the righteous[16.30] وَقِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا مَاذَا أَنْزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ قَالُوا خَيْرا ً لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا فِي هَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَة ٌ وَلَدَارُ الآخِرَةِ خَيْر ٌ وَلَنِعْمَ دَارُ الْمُتَّقِينَ

So did those who went before them. It was not Allah who was unjust to them, but they were unjust to themselves.[16.33] هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ كَذَلِكَ فَعَلَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ

But when their appointed time comes, they can neither stay behind for a moment nor can they go before it.[16.61] وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِمْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ دَابَّة ٍ وَلَكِنْ يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَى أَجَل ٍ مُسَمّى ً فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لاَ يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَة ً وَلاَ يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ

Ta-Allāhi Laqad 'Arsalnā 'Ilá 'Umamin Min Qablika Fazayyana Lahumu Ash-Shayţānu 'A`mālahum Fahuwa Walīyuhumu Al-Yawma Wa Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun By Allah! We sent Rasools before you (O Muhammad) to other nations; but shaitمn made their deeds seem fair to them so they did not believe, he is their patron today, and they shall have a painful punishment.[16.63] تَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَى أُمَم ٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيم ٌ
Wa Mā 'Anzalnā `Alayka Al-Kitāba 'Illā Litubayyina Lahumu Al-Ladhī Akhtalafū Fīhi Wa Hudáan Wa Raĥmatan Liqawmin Yu'uminūna We have revealed to you the Book (The Qur'an) so that you may clearly explain to them the reality of those things in which they differ - it is a guidance and blessing for those people who believe.[16.64] وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ إِلاَّ لِتُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ الَّذِي اخْتَلَفُوا فِيه ِِ وَهُدى ً وَرَحْمَة ً لِقَوْم ٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Wa Allāhu 'Anzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fa'aĥyā Bihi Al-'Arđa Ba`da Mawtihā 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan Liqawmin Yasma`ūna Allah sends down water from the sky, and with it gives life to the land after it has been dead (this Qur'an is being sent to serve the same purpose). Surely in this example there is a sign for those who listen.[16.65] وَاللَّهُ أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاء ً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَة ً لِقَوْم ٍ يَسْمَعُونَ

From its belly comes forth a syrup of different colors, which contains a healing for mankind. Certainly in this there is a sign for those who think.[16.69] ثُمَّ كُلِي مِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ فَاسْلُكِي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلا ً يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بُطُونِهَا شَرَاب ٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُه ُُ فِيه ِِ شِفَاء ٌ لِلنَّاسِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَة ً لِقَوْم ٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
